Carol Vorderman offered £250K to join toyboy dating site

OHMYGOSSIP — Carol Vorderman has reportedly been offered £250,000 to join a dating site for toyboys.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star is ToyboyWarehouse.com’s ideal cougar as she has a “fun-loving nature” just like many of the men looking for an older woman on the online dating pool.
A spokesperson told The Sun newspaper: “Carol is a fantastic older women who embodies the fun-loving nature of our site’s members. I think our toyboys would love the chance to chat with Carol ands he’d definitely find a lot of fun for herself.”
The 55-year-old former ‘Countdown’ mathematician has been flirting up a storm in the jungle with fellow contestant and comedian, Joel Dommett, who is 25 years younger than Carol, as they are the only single camp mates on this year’s series of the ITV show.
So much so, that his ex-girlfriend Natalie Noir just wants him to do “whatever he feels is right”.
She recently said: “You can’t tell your heart what to do.
“It’s not just about age, it’s about different things which people like about each other.
“He’s a single guy. He can do whatever he wants, whatever he feels is the right thing for him.”
Joel is no stranger to relationships with older women as he previously dated a 34-year-old doctor when he was just 22, and said he likes older women because “they’ve sorted their life”.
Shortly before heading into the jungle, Joel said: “When I was 22 I dated a 34-year-old. It was very exciting. I think it’s just nice because older ladies they’re sorted. They’ve sorted their life.
“But dating anyone that’s older than you it means it’s just nice cause they’ve got their s**t together and it’s taken them a while and they know what they want.
“And it’s lovely.”
Meanwhile, Carol – who split from her partner Graham ‘Duffy’ Duff last year – has said she likes to have “occasional” relationships.
Asked in the jungle by ‘Gogglebox’ star Scarlett Moffat if it’s hard for her to date, Carol said: “It is because if you are a bloke they tend to be high maintenance and they like a lot of attention and I don’t have the time for it so I prefer to have a few. A few occasional suits me fine!”

Bob Hoskins for digital Roger Rabbit return?

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Hoskins could return for the ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ sequel in digital form.
The late actor – who died in April 2014 aged 71 – may reprise his role as Eddie Valiant in ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2′ after starring in the role in the 1988 original movie, and director Robert Zemeckis has plans to bring his character back as a ghost.
He said: “It would be very hard to do but we would do a digital Bob Hoskins.”
Despite having a script in place for the motion picture, which moves the story of Roger and Jessica Rabbit forward, Zemeckis is not sure whether the sequel will ever be made because Disney, who own the screenplay, don’t seem too interested.
He added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “The current corporate Disney culture has no interest in Roger, and they certainly don’t like Jessica at all.”
In the original film, Hoskins’ Valiant was a Toon-hating detective who ended up helping Roger – who was voiced by Charles Fleischer – when he was accused of the murder of Marvin Acme.
Kathleen Turner provided the uncredited voice of Jessica, while Christopher Lloyd starred as Judge Doom and Joanna Cassidy was Dolores.
Hoskins sadly died of pneumonia at a hospital in London in April 2014, and afterwards Zemeckis paid tribute to his pal.
He said: “I was saddened to learn of the passing of Bob Hoskins. He was a beloved actor who brought a lot of enjoyment to film audiences worldwide.
“As for his performance in Roger Rabbit, for all the special effects and technical wizardry, it was Bob’s honesty and the truth of his performance that made the animated characters believable – and that was a testament to his real talent.”

Jasmin Walia has 'really big ears'

OHMYGOSSIP — Jasmin Walia thinks she has “really big ears.”
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has admitted she has never been afraid to flash the flesh because her insecurities lie within her appearance facially rather than her trim physique.
Speaking to Australia’s IAmStarstruck.net, Jasmin said: “Actually I have more insecurities facially rather than my body. I feel like I’ve got really big ears and my forehead’s a bit tiny but I think that’s an Asian thing. When you’re in the public eye you’re always being judged anyway so it kind of does make you insecure sometimes but I just have to get over it.
“Some days I do feel like, ‘Oh god I don’t look so good.’ But then other times I’m just like, ‘Whatever, accept me for who I am.’ ”
And the 26-year-old beauty isn’t going to let her fear of being scrutinised ruin her chances of becoming a singing sensation.
She explained: “It’s (singing) what I’ve wanted to do always. I had it planned, and I used television as a platform to get into it. I just thought doing TV will kind of get my name out there and then I can go into singing. It takes time to get music out there.”
Jasmin has just played a series of gigs in Australia and is thrilled she can finally start showing people around the world her talent.
She said: “Sydney was so much fun. The people were so lively. Melbourne is good but Sydney is definitely more lively.”

Ola Jordan is third contestant to leave I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Ola Jordan has been booted off ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 34-year-old professional dancer – who is known for her fancy footwork on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – has been the third contestant to leave the ITV show, and has admitted her time on the series has been an “emotional roller coaster”.
Speaking to Ant and Dec on the programme, she said: “Do you know what it’s amazing. It’s been an amazing thing.
“It’s been an emotional roller coaster.
“Yeah, I loved it. I truly loved every minute of the experience.”
Although the blonde beauty has admitted she thought she could happily do every task when she has previously watched the show, she has revealed “everything” in the jungle was “not as easy” as it looks, and has found being away from her husband James Jordan the hardest thing.
She continued: “I’ve always loved the show, and I always thought ‘I could do this’, but it’s not as easy.
“Just being away from everything, not having your phone, being away from everyone … drinking the water, which we had to boil. You’re living on rice and beans, it’s hard. You deal with it. You’re in there and you have to deal with it.”
However, the star feels “very lucky” she was accompanied by a “nice bunch of people”, including Carol Vorderman, Scarlett Moffatt and Sam Quek, which made her experience more enjoyable.
Speaking of her fellow camp mates, Ola said: “That’s the thing that’s made the experience even better. The 12 of us got on really well. I suppose Carol really was my mate. Real girl squad.
“They’re just so nice, all the girls.
“I think we have been very lucky. We bonded really quickly.. Everyone’s been really nice. A nice bunch of people together. Then the other two came in [Martin Roberts and Danny Baker] and stirred a bit. But then they acclimatised and that was fine.
“I think that was the hardest thing was splitting us, as we really got on well. It was a bit strange not being with them and competing with them.”
Although Ola has left the competition, she has revealed parts of the show will stay with her, as she can still “taste” the fish guts days after the trial.
She said: “That fish gut is the worst thing ever, I can still taste it.”
Meanwhile, Ola has revealed she is backing the former ‘Countdown’ co-host to be crowned this year’s Queen of the jungle.
When asked who she would like to see crowned champion, she said: “Carol.”

Ed Balls for Strictly Come Dancing tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Balls is reportedly being lined up for the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ tour. The 49-year-old politician was given the boot from the ballroom and latin competition in Sunday (27.11.16) night’s show but, despite his shock exit, it may not be the last time fans see him in sequins as producers are trying to persuade him to take part in the live production when it travels the UK next year.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Ed wants to be on the tour and is currently negotiating his price. He has loved his ‘Strictly…’ experience and would like it to continue. He’s entertained the nation with his routines and played along with it. Everyone’s seen a different side to him and he’s gone from getting no votes as a politician to the nation backing him week after week. Ed’s looking at his diary because he also has lecture commitments and other work to do, but everyone’s hopeful he will sign up.”

And Ed won’t be alone as the former MP will be joined on the 10th anniversary tour by Daisy Lowe, Danny Mac and Louise Redknapp. It’s also thought Ore Oduba and Judge Rinder – who are currently still in the competition – will also take part in tour but that’s yet to be confirmed.

The tour will kick off in Birmingham on January 20 and visit Newcastle, Sheffield, Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool and London. Ed constantly found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard but managed to slip through to the next round every week because the public loved him.

However, Ed believes he has his professional partner Katya Jones to thank for his longevity in the competition because her routines – such as their salsa to ‘Gangnam Style’ – provided viewers with entertainment.

He said: “I was not the best dancer at the beginning – I was the worst dancer. I’ve never done it before. I wasn’t the youngest, but we’ve tried really hard. We’re trying to get better every week and we’re trying to entertain. Katya’s choreography is fantastic.”

James Jordan is fuming with I’m A Celeb flirts

OHMYGOSSIP — James Jordan is reportedly “fuming” with the way Adam Thomas and Joel Dommett have been “hitting” on his wife Ola. The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional has made no secret of the fact he’s willing to punch anyone who gets too close to his spouse in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ jungle, and it seems her two camp mates may be in trouble when they get out as he thinks they’ve overstepped the mark.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “James is fuming about the way the boys have been flirting with Ola. He was already nervous about the attention she would get before she went in. He’s telling anyone who will listen that he doesn’t want the lads hitting on her like that.”

It’s believed the real tipping point for James came when he watched Joel, 30, recreate the iconic moment in the film ‘Dirty Dancing’ when Patrick Swayze lifts Jennifer Grey above his head with Ola on the jungle floor on Sunday (27.11.16).

And Adam reportedly upset him after he gave the blonde beauty – who also starred in the ballroom and latin show – a hug after they both won the Claim Of Thrones challenge last week.

However, it’s highly unlikely the ‘Emmerdale’ star is deliberately flirting with the dancer as he knows his fiancée Caroline, with whom he has two-year-old son Teddy, is watching the show.

Last week, Caroline jumped to the 28-year-old hunk’s defence after he was accused of flirting with now-evictee Lisa Snowdon. She said: “He’s not being flirty, he’s being Adam. He is so bubbly and such a joker. He’s really caring so if anyone needs a shoulder to cry on, Adam will be there with open arms.”

The Missing to return for third series?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Missing’ is set to return for a third series. The dramatic thriller hasn’t yet left television screens as the finale is to air on Wednesday (30.11.16), but the show’s writers, brothers Harry and Jack Williams, are already thinking about the next installment and have admitted it’ll be completely different from the first and current batch of episodes.

Harry told the Daily Express newspaper when pressed on a third series: “It would have to be very different, but never say, never.”

However, fans on the show may have to wait another two years before they see Detective Julien Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo) back on their screens as Harry and Jack are busy with other projects.

The brothers told the Sunday People newspaper: “We love Julien. We feel there’s more to say with him and more of his story to explore. We just don’t have an idea for a story we want to tell at this moment. We wouldn’t rule it out, but it’s not on the horizon any time soon.”

The second series has been based on the disappearance of two girls; Alice Webster from a British army base in Germany, and French girl Sophie Giroux.

Fans were over the moon last week when they found out that after, seven weeks, Alice (Abigail Hardingham) was actually still alive and the series finale will see the truth finally uncovered as her parents, Sam (David Morrissey) and Gemma Webster (Keeley Hawes) join Julien Baptiste to find their daughter’s abductor.

Over the past seven episodes, fans have been left on tenterhooks but the show’s producer Willow Grylls is adamant all unanswered questions will be resolved before it wraps up.

She said: “All the questions that have been asked will be answered in the course of the show. That’s what we have been so incredibly careful of.”

Marion Cotillard’s Dark Knight Rises ‘overreaction’

OHMYGOSSIP — Marion Cotillard thinks people “overreacted” to her infamous ‘Dark Knight Rises’ death scene. The ‘Allied’ star portrayed villain Miranda Tat/ Talia al Ghul in the 2012 superhero movie in which her character passed away abruptly, and the Hollywood actress admitted it was “tough to be identified” with the controversial scene.

She said: “We’re all in the same boat, and if sometimes it gets out of control, then everyone is involved. Sometimes there are failures, and when you see this on screen, you’re thinking, ‘Why? Why did they keep that take?’ But either you blame everyone or nobody. But I thought people overreacted, because it was tough to be identified just with this scene. When I’m doing the best I can to find the authenticity in every character that I’m playing, it’s tough to be known just for this scene.”

But Cotillard insists she “wasn’t affected” by the hype surrounding the controversial scene, and found it helpful to “laugh about it”.

Speaking to French website AlloCiné, she added: “It’s important to know how to laugh about this, and also, there are worse things in life. Even if there are things that can hurt you. But I wasn’t really affected by this. I just thought the reaction was disproportionate, and it helps to laugh about it.”

Marion recently admitted she felt as though she was branded “the worst actress on earth” because of that one scene. She said: “Yes, it is not very good. But, come on, it is not the end of the world… For one scene, you become the worst actress on earth, when you’re trying to do your best to reach a kind of authenticity? It was unfair.”

Peter Jackson’s Mortal Engines for December 2018

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Jackson’s ‘Mortal Engines’ will drop in December 2018. The movie adaptation of the sci-fi fantasy book of the same name by Philip Reeve has been in the works since 2009, and Universal Pictures have now revealed the hotly-anticipated motion picture is scheduled for release on December 14, 2018.

Production on the film is expected to begin in 2017 and it’s not yet known who will star in the project. Jackson is thought to have been interested in adapting the book series around seven years ago but he became side-tracked by ‘The Hobbit’ film franchise.

He went on to helm the three movies in the series, ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’, ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’, and ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ in 2012, 2013, and 2014 respectively.

Jackson will co-write the script for the movie and his longtime collaborator Christian Rivers will helm the motion picture. The ‘Lord of the Rings’ filmmaker recently said: “Christian is one of my closest collaborators. The combination of emotion and jaw-dropping visuals in ‘Mortal Engines’ makes this the perfect movie for his move into feature directing.

“What Christian intends to do with Philip Reeve’s terrific story is going to result in an original and spectacular movie. I wish I could see it tomorrow.”
The book is part of a series of four novels, which also includes ‘Predator’s Gold’, ‘Infernal Devices’, and ‘A Darkling Plain’, set in a post-apocalyptic world, where cities including London are run on engines.

The series tells the story of protagonist Tom Natsworthy, a teenager who joins forces with a young woman from an area known as the Outlands, to discover a mystery that could change the world they live in.

Michael Fassbender doesn’t watch video game films

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Fassbender hasn’t seen “any” video game movies. The 39-year-old actor is set to star in and produce forthcoming action film ‘Assassin’s Creed’ – which is based on the Ubisoft stealth video game franchise of the same name – but he’s never been a big fan of motion pictures based around games.

He is quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper as saying: “To be honest with you, I haven’t seen any of them. I think I saw half of ‘Tomb Raider’. I just knew that this world that I was introduced to through Ubisoft – I’m not a gamer – was a new world to me. I thought, ‘Wow, this is really fascinating’. This concept of DNA memory, genetic memory, it seemed to be something like what people call a sixth sense or instinct. This knowledge and experience that we have passed down from our ancestors to us.”

Fassbender fans won’t be too surprised to hear he doesn’t have a penchant for video game films, as the Hollywood star recently revealed he is not a fan of such entertainment.

He said: “The last time I had a serious stint with video games was 2000. There was a period of time where I was working in this warehouse at night.
“I would come home in the morning and just sit down in front of this racing game – I can’t even remember the name of it – and play it over and over.”

Honey G confirms record deal talks

OHMYGOSSIP — Honey G has confirmed she’s in talks with Syco about a record deal.
The ‘X Factor’ wannabe rapper – who was given the boot from the singing competition in Sunday (27.11.16) night’s show – has admitted it won’t be the last fans see of her as the show’s boss Simon Cowell’s label are considering signing her in the near future.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Monday (28.11.16), Dan Wootton said: “I can reveal Lorraine that if you think this is the end of Honey G you will be mistaken because I’ve been told by some of the top bosses at Syco that they do believe that potentially there could be a commercial proposition here for a future music career.”
And Honey – whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford – believes Syco is the best label for her because she’s already built up a relationship with them.
She explained: “I entered ‘The X Factor’ because I wanted a record deal. I’m not really interested in anything else apart from getting signed to get a record deal. Obviously, with Syco, I know the team really well. We get on really well so it would be lovely to be signed by them because the relationship is already formed.”
The 35-year-old star has been hitting the headlines week-in week-out since she auditioned for the programme because fans believed she was a “novelty act”, but she’s adamant music has always been a big part of her life.
She said: “I’ve come from a musical background the whole of my life. My mum is a pianist, I’ve grown up as a musician, I’ve got a degree in music production and composition, I’ve been involved with BBC Radio 1Xtra, which is the UK’s biggest black music radio station. I’ve been in to rap the whole of my life, I’ve been producing for about 15-20 years and I’ve been rapping for about four or five years.”
And, although music is something she wants to focus on for the time being, Honey would also like to settle down in the near future and start a family.
She explained: “I’m single. I am looking for love, I really want to have kids soon and obviously I just want to get a long-term partner before I decide to have kids.”

Ola Jordan stole husband from another woman

OHMYGOSSIP — Ola Jordan snatched her husband James Jordan from another woman.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional has admitted her spouse, whom she has been married to for 13 years, was already in a relationship with someone else when they first met but that didn’t bother her and she continued to pursue him.
Writing in her autobiography ‘Strictly Ola: My Story’, the blonde beauty – who was 17 at the time – said: “His partner was Polish, and when I watched them dance together I was filled with just one thought, ‘I want to have a partner like that one day.’
“At one point during the competition I actually got introduced to this tall, dark stranger, very fleetingly. ‘Hello’, he smiled. And then he was gone.”
But the encounter “stuck” in her mind and, although she knew he was “well out of her league”, the 34-year-old dancer received a phone call from James’ partner asking if she was available to trial with him because they wanted to dance with other people.
She explained: “It didn’t bother me that he had a girlfriend. I was four-and-a-half years younger than James and never considered for one moment that he could possibly be interested in a girl like me, not in that way. He was spoken for and was very renowned in the dance world, and I felt young and inexperienced by comparison. Nevertheless, when I saw James walk through arrivals at the airport my heart skipped a beat.”
The pair gradually grew closer as they trained together and James’ relationship with his girlfriend began to break down, before he eventually ditched her once and for all.
Although they wanted to be together, the couple didn’t reveal their true feelings for one another until they took a trip to Hong Kong and they later tied the knot in 2003.

Larry Lamb wants to quit I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Larry Lamb wants to quit ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 69-year-old actor – who is one of the favourites to win the show – has managed to survive two weeks in the Australian jungle, but it seems the pressure of sleeping rough and the lack of food is starting to get to him now as he’s hoping to bow out soon.
Former camp mate Lisa Snowdon, who became the second contestant to leave the jungle on Sunday (27.11.16) night, has confirmed the star is “ready to go.”
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Monday (28.11.16), Lisa said: “Larry won’t leave, none of them will leave (voluntarily). But they are ready to go.”
But the former glamour model is keen for Larry to make it through to the end.
She explained: “Larry is amazing, we got on so well, and our relationship was one of the strongest for me in there. We cooked together we chatted together, he’s an amazing man. I would like him to stay.”
And Larry even begged former camp mate Danny Baker – who was the first to get the boot on Friday (25.11.16) evening – to share his tips on how to get evicted.
Danny told The Sun newspaper: “Larry is good to go. He looked over and gave me the eye as I went out. He said ‘what did you do? Tell me what you did and I’ll do it today.’ ”
Producers first became concerned that the former ‘EastEnders’ star – who is understood to be one of the most expensive signings of this series – could walk out after he showed signs he was struggling over recent days.
In Saturday (26.11.16) night’s show, he stunned viewers and his fellow camp mates when he locked horns with ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ star Martin Roberts.
He called him “a f***ing lower middle class snob” after they disagreed about who should do the Bushtucker Trial.

Bianca Gascoigne for Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Bianca Gascoigne is to star in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The TV personality will appear in the forthcoming ‘Gold Stars vs All Stars’ series of the reality TV show and show bosses are hoping she will speak about her football legend step-father Paul Gascoigne’s alcohol battle.
A source said: “Not only is Bianca great value on her own she’s also related to one of Britain’s most famous and talked-about football stars.”
As well as having her former England star step-dad to chat about, producers expect the brunette stunner to be a “feisty” addition to the series, which will see former ‘CBB’ stars appear alongside new housemates.
An insider said: “Producers think Bianca will be a big hit with viewers.
“She’s a gorgeous girl who isn’t afraid of flashing the flesh. She’s also feisty and willing to speak her mind and stick up for herself. Bianca can be sweet, but she’s not a walkover.”
Bianca – who won ‘Love Island’ in 2006 and a celebrity version of ‘Gladiators’ in 2008 – is expected to rub shoulders with the likes of Stephen Bear, who won the last ‘CBB’ series.
The insider added to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Fans can expect fireworks. The plan is to bring back some of the show’s most controversial characters.
“The new housemates won’t have long to find their feet because it will be dog-eat-dog.”
Other stars linked with a return to the new series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ include controversial model Angélique ‘Frenchy’ Morgan, outspoken model Jasmine Lennard and former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional James Jordan.
What’s more, reality TV couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag – who were runners-up of ‘CBB’ in 2013 to Rylan Clark – are said to have signed a big-money deal to return to the programme.
A source previously said: “Spencer and Heidi are very competitive and they got so close to winning last time that they’re hell bent on coming out on top this time around.”

The Crystal Maze to return for full series

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Crystal Maze’ is set to return for a full series next year.
The legendary game show, which came to an end in 1995, hit television screens in October for a one-off charity special for Stand Up To Cancer and proved such a hit with viewers that bosses have decided to give it the go-ahead for a full installment.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: “Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Stand Up To Cancer special early conversations are being had about ‘The Crystal Maze’.”
However, producers have found themselves in a sticky situation as Stephen Merchant, who successfully fronted the one-off special last month, is adamant he doesn’t want to return for a full series because he wants to focus on his film career.
A source explained to The Sun newspaper: “Stephen has made Channel 4’s job a lot harder by refusing to return for a full series. He was never too keen but the hope was he’d be swayed by the ratings. Channel 4 is desperate to get the show back on air as soon as it can and is looking for it to be a significant part of its 2017 schedule but the fact it has no host is obviously a major obstacle.”
However, the 42-year-old star’s snub of the series hardly came as a surprise to Channel 4 as he’s always said he never wanted to take on the full-time role.
He said just after the charity special hit screens five weeks ago: “We haven’t discussed it being a full series but for me, personally, that would be tough.”
The original series ran from 1990 until 1995 and was previously fronted by ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ creator Richard O’Brien and punk rocker Ed Tudor-Pole.
At the height of its popularity, the series drew in up to six million viewers per episode, making it the most popular show on Channel 4 at the time.
The programme famously featured four zones, Aztec, Industrial – which was later replaced by Ocean – Futuristic and Medieval, where the contestants took part in a series of challenges and games in order to win crystals, each of which gave them five seconds in the final crystal dome.
In the finale, the teams had to grab 100 gold tokens which blew around the dome, but lost one for every silver they also had.
Just 18 out of the 83 teams who took part in the show over the years managed to win.
