Spencer Matthews is sad Vogue Williams has left The Jump

OHMYGOSSIP — Spencer Matthews thinks it’s a “massive loss” that Vogue Williams has been forced to pull out of ‘The Jump’.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk – who was rumoured to be romancing the DJ – is devastated that 31-year-old model has been replaced in the winter sports competition because she has suffered a serious knee injury.
Speaking to new! magazine, he said: “I think it’s a massive loss to the show. She was really lusting after being the first girl to win the competition and I think there’s every chance she would have. Plus she’s going to be on crutches for a while, which is annoying for her, so thoughts out to Vogue. She’s a huge character and great fun and good at everything. It’s a shame to lose any member of the team. Vogue and I were best friends and we spent all our time together, so now she’s not here, it feels weird.”
The pair first sparked rumours they were dating earlier this month when it was reported that they’d shared a passionate smooch while on the slopes and, although he won’t disclose whether there is anything going on between him and Vogue, the 28-year-old heartthrob is open to the idea of falling in love on the show.
He explained: “If love were to fall into my lap, then I would be all over it. I think any human being would always welcome love. But I don’t think that’s why I came here. Vogue’s a lovely girl, she’s a very good friend and I think we’ll be friends forever.”
But it looks like Vogue may have some stiff competition as it’s also believed Spencer has been getting close to Olympic gold medal-winning star Jade Jones since the blonde beauty quit the series a few weeks ago.
A source said recently: To say things were awkward is a massive understatement. Vogue wasn’t happy when she found he got together with Jade. It’s the talk of the training camp and has created a bit of an atmosphere. Spencer is taking things to another level. It’s more akin to an 18-30s holiday than a TV competition.”

Michelle Hardwick splits from wife

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Hardwick has split from her wife.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star – who is known for playing Vanessa Woodfield in the long-running soap – has revealed she ended her relationship with her spouse Rosie Nicholl, 32, last year – less than a year after they wed in 2015 – because they started to drift apart.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “Unfortunately Rosie and I did split last year but are still good friends. It was one of those things where we did drift apart. We had a big fairytale wedding and I still love that day, it was brilliant. It’s just really sad and one of those things that happens. We still have our dogs which we’ll share and nobody else was involved, it just happened and it was a mutual decision. I don’t know how else to explain it. I grew out of love and she became more of my best friend. It was like we were living as friends, not a married couple. We’re still living together, just in separate rooms while the divorce goes through but it’s underway.”
Although the 40-year-old actress adores her pet pooches Harley and Jess, her busy soap career means she can no longer look after them and they will stay with Rosie.
She said: “It has been the hardest thing either of us has ever been through. Coming to the decision to split was very difficult. But I believe it will be for the best in the long run.”
Michelle also kept it a secret from her cast mates until recently because she didn’t want to be bombarded with loads of questions when she was trying to get stuck into work.
She explained: “It wasn’t an overnight shock, it was just a slow-burning feeling we both had. I kept it a secret from everyone at work, I just came to work to work and didn’t want to discuss it with anybody. Nothing was posted on social media, we just wanted it to be private. But people have started to notice that I am not wearing my wedding ring.
“I didn’t want to respond until the time was right. It is really, really sad. I can’t help but think about my parents who were happily married at 17 and 18 and are still blissfully happy – and that makes me feel like a failure.”

Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell make up

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell have decided to bury the hatchet once and for all following nine months of bad mouthing each other.
The 26-year-old Irish hunk appeared to confirm he’s the father of the brunette beauty’s baby – something he’d denied for the majority of her pregnancy – over the weekend on Twitter and it seems their little bundle of joy have brought them closer together as they’ve both decided to re-follow one another on social media sites.
The 23-year-old actress fell in love with the heavily-inked heartthrob on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ last year, but after months of breaking up and making up over allegations he’d cheated on her, they decided to call time on their romance in April.
Although he was adamant he wasn’t the father of Stephanie’s four-week-old son Caben-Albi until he was born at the beginning of January, Jeremy has admitted he’s the “happiest man alive” after discovering the little one biologically belongs to him.
Alongside a photograph of the tiny tot, Jeremy said: “I’ll love this monkey with every bit of me… Happiest man alive , my new focus. (sic)”
And the dark-haired model – who currently resides in Dublin, Ireland – is also willing to fly to Liverpool, where Stephanie is based, “every weekend” because he wants to make sure that he has a strong relationship with the little one.
The pair locked horns over Jeremy’s decision to have a paternity test done live on television last week after Stephanie reportedly demanded he sign an “unreasonable” legal document before she’d have the DNA test done.
Speaking at the time, he said: “It’s time to put our differences aside and do the right thing. It’s plain and simple.
“This could be dealt with privately from the start but we can’t change the past.”

Sheridan Smith speaks to The Moorside character 'all the time'

OHMYGOSSIP — Sheridan Smith has made a “friend for life” in ‘The Moorside’s Julie Bushby.
The 35-year-old actress – who plays the role of Julie in the mini-series based on the kidnapping of Shannon Matthews in 2008 – was told to spend a maximum of one hour with the lollipop lady in preparation for her role in the drama, but the pair instantly clicked and they have remained in contact since they stopped filming.
Speaking to The Daily Mirror newspaper about the ‘Cilla’ star, Julie said: “She was out of this world. I’ve met her often since, spending a week with her during filming and we phone each other all the time. She needed me more than I need her.
“I have found a friend for life in Sheridan. She’s just like us. She really got me. Yes, she has the showbiz life but she hasn’t forgotten her roots.”
And the blonde beauty – who was known for playing Janet Keogh in the popular series ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ for eight years – would repeat every sentence Julie would utter during their meetings to help her convey an honest portrayal.
Julie explained: “We’d be having a convo and she was just repeating everything I said. I looked at her like she had two heads. I thought she was taking the p**s. I thought I had a bloody parrot. She said: ‘You’re all right, I’m just trying to pick up your twang. If you want me to do it right. I’ve got to do this.’ She’s extraordinary how she can morph into different characters. She went from Cilla Black to playing me. It’s outstanding.
“I put my life into her hands and she didn’t let me down. I love her so much. She actually listens to me. There are things in my life that I would trust no other actress to have portrayed.”

Casey Affleck forgot to thank his brother at the BAFTAs

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Affleck forgot to thank his brother Ben during his acceptance speech at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs).
The 41-year-old star won the Best Actor gong at the annual awards bash in London last night (12.02.17) for his performance in ‘Manchester by the Sea’, but Casey subsequently admitted he had mistakenly overlooked Ben, a fellow BAFTA winner, during his speech.
He told Digital Spy: “I can’t remember what I said or what I saw when I was up there.
“Although he didn’t really have anything to do with the movie. I was planning on thanking him for being my brother at some point.”
Instead of thanking Ben, Casey used his acceptance speech to share a heartbreaking story of how a family member’s alcoholism led him to become an actor.
Casey, whose father Timothy was an alcoholic, revealed he turned to acting as a form of therapy during his family’s struggles.
He said: “The reason that I act is because when I was a young kid, my mother would take me to Al-Anon meetings for children [from families] with alcoholics and there would be a lot of kids there who would reenact the person at their home who they were trying to understand.
“And it was therapy but it was acting and acting has sort of been [therapy] for me ever since. It is a privilege for me to do it for a living. So if you were wondering, that’s why I act.”
Casey also insisted special credit for his BAFTA success should go to director Kenneth Lonergan, who helmed the critically acclaimed drama movie.
He explained: “The reason I’m here right now tonight is because of Kenneth Lonergan and his sublime screenplay that really dignifies everyday lives and their struggles with great compassion.
“I will never be able to express my gratitude to him and I accept this as a representative of the entire cast and crew. This is a honour I will never forget.”

Vicky McLure wants to be Jane Bond

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky McLure would love to play James Bond.
The ‘Line of Duty’ actress thought it was funny when fans launched a campaign for her to be the next 007 when Daniel Craig eventually leaves the role of the suave spy, but admits she is unlikely for it to happen.
She said: “I am happy to talk about that.
“Yes, let’s do it [play Bond].
“I found whole Bond thing very funny. I can’t see it happening. We can hope, but I can’t see it. I think that was just because people saw me on the side of a lorry [in ‘Line of Duty’]. I did all my own stunts.”
The 33-year-old actress – who is in a relationship with actor-and-director Jonny Owen – admitted she finds it frustrating that the scripts she receives are regularly for a motherly role, especially when she herself is proof that there is more to women over 30 than just having children.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I am getting to that age when [the parts I am offered are for a] ‘mother-of-three’. I am like, ‘Wow. That is not our only purpose. There are other roles.
“It is not even annoying, it is just reality.
“You get to that point where actually all of my characters will potentially have children or be at that stage in their life. I am living proof that that doesn’t have to be the case. I am not doing that, which is completely fine.”
The ‘This Is England’ star insists she isn’t always looking to play “strong” women, but she wouldn’t be happy to have a role as simply a supportive partner as she always wants to be someone with a purpose.
She said: “I am not constantly looking for that feminist role. It is important to put females at the front [but] they don’t have to be strong females all the time. There has to be a purpose and a reason.”

Mikey North is a dad

OHMYGOSSIP — Mikey North secretly became a father to a little boy three months ago.
The ‘Coronation Street’ hunk – who is known for playing fitness guru Gary Windass in the long-running soap – and his wife Rachael Isherwood welcomed their first child called Archie into the world on November 10, 2016 at 4:40pm.
He explained: “We’ve been really lucky. We’ve taken him out and he hasn’t played up badly in public once yet. He always has his game face on. He always waits until bedtime to come alive. But he’s got a good temperament … I’m loving it [fatherhood]. It’s the best thing ever. I’m really enjoying it. It was the next step for us.”
However, although all is well and good now, Rachael had somewhat of a traumatic delivery and almost had to have a blood transfusion after she lost a litre and a half of blood because doctors accidentally cut through a vein while performing a episiotomy.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “I had to have an episiotomy but unfortunately they cut through a vein and I lost one and a half litres of blood.”
Mikey added: “She was so close to having a transfusion but somehow got through it …
When he was born they took him out and passed him to Rachael, so there was bliss at one end. Rachael was just happy that he was here and healthy. At the other end it was just carnage, it was like a chainsaw massacre going on in the room.”
The couple – who got married in January last year – were just thrilled when they could go home and have their newborn to themselves but it didn’t take long before an argument broke out over what they were going to call their little bundle of joy.
Mikey said: “It’s just Archie. He has no middle name. We had a massive argument and just couldn’t agree at all. From when I was a child I’ve always said I wanted my first son to have my dad’s name, Martin, as their middle name. But Rachael wasn’t having it.”
Rachael added: “We just thought it wasn’t worth it in the end and we should keep it simple. I just thought Martin didn’t sound right.”

Downton Abbey to return for prequel

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Downton Abbey’ may return to television screens in the near future.
The popular period drama came to an end two years ago following five successful years on screen because bosses wanted it to bow out on a high, but its writer Julian Fellowes has teased he’s planning to pen a prequel and wants a whole new cast.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I think it would be possible to do a prequel that was re-cast and do a sort of a love story so you went right back and had the young cast arriving in the show as footmen and Mrs Patmore being a kitchen maid. It would work if you told everyone’s story from 30 years before. You could do that with a different cast.”
As well as the prequel, Julian is still hoping that he can round up the old cast – comprised of Michelle Dockery, Dame Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville and Jim Carter – so that he can make a successful blockbuster based on the period drama.
He explained to the publication: “I hope there is going to be a film. I would like there to be a film. There are many factors as like all the actors in ‘Downton Abbey’, we made them famous. Now they have all gone off and they are doing films, theatre or TV series so it will be quite difficult rounding them up.”
However, it shouldn’t be that hard to get things up and running as a number of the cast members have previously admitted that they’d love for the film to go ahead.
Phyllis Logan, who played Mrs Hughes in the long-running drama, said she didn’t take any props from the set when the show finished because she was sure she would need them again for the big-screen adaptation.
She explained: “People ask me if I was tempted to take a wig or that big bunch of keys I carried, but that would be theft, because these things aren’t my property.
“Besides, if there’s a ‘Downton’ movie, which I hope will happen, all the props and costumes will be needed. It’s like herding cats! We’re all so busy and in different countries, but it would be such fun to get together again. The camaraderie on set was extraordinary.”
Recently, Jim Carter – who portrayed Mr Carson in the show – revealed that the cast had been asked to clear their diaries to shoot the film later this year.
He said: “We’ve been asked to keep ourselves available for dates in the future. But nobody has seen a script.”
Joanne Froggatt – who portrayed Anna Smith in the period drama for five years – set tongues wagging last year when she revealed that Julian had penned the script for the forthcoming blockbuster.

Scarlett Moffatt: I won't say yes to every gig I get

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt has been turning down jobs because she doesn’t want people to “get sick of” her.
The ‘Gogglebox’ star has had job offers flooding in since she won ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ at the end of last year but she is “careful about saying yes to anything” as she doesn’t want to annoy people if she’s popping up everywhere.
She said: “That is the last thing I want to happen. I turn down so many things because I don’t want people to get sick of me. I refuse to promote anything on Instagram for money and I’m aware that I have to be careful about saying yes to anything.”
And Scarlett feels her time in the Australian jungle has made her “stronger as a person”.
She added: “Ultimately, it made me stronger as a person. I carried on being myself. Winning I’m a Celebrity … was a huge moment for me in terms of confidence because the bottom line was the feeling that people like me exactly as I am …
“I was asked to do the show a year before but turned it down because I didn’t feel I was ready. I was constantly asked to do shows like Big Brother but I just kept saying no. This year it felt right. I loved it. I hadn’t let myself even dream I’d win it so for that to happen was incredible.”
Scarlett has been showing off a slimmer figure recently and revealed she decided to ditch the pounds when she was told by a doctor she needed to be tested for type 2 diabetes.
She told You magazine: “I lost weight because I’d become clinically obese and was told by my doctor I’d have to be tested for type 2 diabetes. That shocked me. I was upset I’d let myself get so unhealthy.
“I have a 10-year-old sister [Ava] and I wanted to set a good example. I lost weight to be healthy, not for any other reason. I never felt bad about being overweight, but I did start to feel tired and out of breath and I knew I needed to do something.”

BBC to launch show to rival The Great British Bake Off

OHMYGOSSIP — The BBC are keen to launch a new show to rival ‘The Great British Bake Off’.
Despite incoming BBC boss David Clementi previously insisting the broadcaster wouldn’t be launching a programme to rival the baking series, which is moving to Channel 4, it has been revealed that “very high-level discussions” have been taking place for a BBC cookery show, which would “directly compete” with ‘Bake Off’.
A source said: “Launching their own version of the show has long been rumoured since Channel 4 swooped in on ‘Bake Off’.
“But things have picked up pace in the last few weeks and very high-level discussions have happened where a BBC version of a cookery or baking show that would directly compete with Paul and Channel 4 has been seriously talked about.”
However, it is not thought that Mary Berry, Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc – who stayed loyal to the BBC after Paul Hollywood opted to move to a rival channel – will be appearing in the new show.
A spokesperson for BBC Studios said: “The nature of TV production means there are always lots of creative ideas in development but until ideas are commissioned we don’t comment on them. Nothing has been commissioned yet.”
It comes after David Clementi admitted he felt the show had peaked in 2015, when Nadiya Hussain took the crown.
He said last month: “My personal opinion is they need to find a different format. My very personal view is that it peaked with Nadiya Hussain. That’s a very personal view, not the BBC’s and good luck to Channel 4.”
Meanwhile, Channel 4 has started filming their version of ‘The Great British Bake Off’, with the hope it could be on screens by the end of 2017.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “This has been a massive blockage which would have seen the show off air until 2018. That could have done real damage to the brand. But most importantly, the fans would have missed out.
“It’s great news they’ve agreed not to enforce the contract – and the producers can get on with bringing it back to screens this year.”

Dev Patel reveals his unusual preparation for Lion

OHMYGOSSIP — Dev Patel watched numerous episodes of ‘Australian MasterChef’ before starring in ‘Lion’.
The 26-year-old actor played the Indian-born Australian businessman Saroo Brierley in the Garth Davis-directed drama movie and has revealed the unusual method he used to master his on-screen accent.
Dev – who won the Best Supporting Actor gong at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) in London on Sunday night (12.02.17) – said: “To change the way I sound, that took a good eight months.
“It was eight months of solid repetition [and] I watched a lot of ‘Australian Masterchef’!”
But the award-winning star admitted to feeling relieved when he was finally able to drop his Australian accent.
He said, according to The Sun newspaper: “It went from my brain as soon as it was done…
“After eight solid months of repetition I was glad to say goodbye to it. It was torture, it’s a very hard accent to grapple with.”
Meanwhile, Dev – who stars alongside the likes of Rooney Mara, David Wenham and Nicole Kidman in the critically-acclaimed movie – admitted after the awards bash to being surprised by his BAFTA success.
He said: “It’s a lot to take in. I really did not expect to win.
“We have been going to all these awards and this one is where everything changed, on home turf with my family here.
“I used to watch this at home with my family and now for us all to be here, it’s kind of an out of body experience.”
Following his triumph in London, Dev’s attention will now turn towards the Academy Awards in Los Angeles later this month after he was recently nominated for the Best Supporting Actor gong.

Keanu Reeves wants to make a new Matrix movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Keanu Reeves wants to make a new ‘Matrix’ movie.
The 52-year-old actor – who starred as hacker Neo in the iconic movie trilogy – has revealed he would relish the chance to reprise the role, but admitted he didn’t know whether the directors, Lana and Lilly Wachowski, would be keen on the idea.
Keanu shared: “I don’t know about the Wachowskis. They would probably do something really original. I’d certainly like to see what would happen and more exploration of that world.”
But the Hollywood star also revealed he was undecided about the prospect of the sci-fi franchise going down the remake route.
He told the Metro newspaper: “Don’t do that. Not a remake. But you could actually. I think what’s cool … When a story gets embraced, then if it has a tradition, and it becomes to have a lineage.
“I think it’s cool that when another time takes that story and makes it their own, so I wouldn’t categorically say that would be bad.”
This comes shortly after Keanu revealed he is currently working on a new ‘Bill & Ted’ movie.
Asked whether he still planned to make a follow-up to 1989’s ‘Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure’, Keanu replied: “Bill and Ted are still alive. The writers have a story and we’re trying to make it.”
Keanu also teased the plot of the new film, revealing that the two central characters are now grown men living with the pressures of family life and crumbling marriages, who are called upon to save the world again by writing a song.
He said: “Basically, they’re supposed to write a song to save the world and they haven’t done that.
“The pressure of having to save the world, their marriages are falling apart, their kids are kind of mad at them, and then someone comes from the future and tells them if they don’t write the song it’s just not the world, it’s the universe. So they have to save the universe because time is breaking apart.”

Julie Hesmondhalgh: I'll always be seen as Hayley Cropper

OHMYGOSSIP — Julie Hesmondhalgh thinks she’ll always be remembered as Hayley Cropper in ‘Coronation Street’.
The 46-year-old actress starred as the transgender character in the ITV soap from 1998 until 2014 and despite subsequent roles in ‘Happy Valley’ and ‘Cucumber’, Julie doesn’t think she’ll ever be able to disassociate herself with her most famous on-screen part.
She shared: “I don’t think I will ever move on from Hayley.
“When you have played a part that has been so much part of culture as Hayley was, you know your obituary picture is going to be that.
“I think Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher said it about their ‘Star Wars’ roles. No matter what you do, no matter what you achieve after that.
“My obituary picture will be me, there, drinking pineapple juice, as Hayley. It is part of who I am – it was 16 years and I was 27 when I went into that show.”
Consequently, Julie finds it hugely thrilling when she is recognised for some of her more recent roles.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It is only professional pride that makes me want people to ask, ‘Are you that lady in ‘Cucumber’?’
“It is the best thing in the world. I could kiss them. I am like, ‘Yes I am’.”
Meanwhile, the actress also revealed she is delighted to have been cast in the acclaimed drama series ‘Broadchurch’, which stars David Tennant and Olivia Colman.
However, Julie admitted she was surprised to have been handed the role, which sees her play a rape victim.
She explained: “I feel like there is a lot of criticism about how sexual assault and rape is portrayed on television with it being sexualised.
“It is not an act of sex, it is an act of violence. It is very often young beautiful girls that it is happening to. I agree and I am sick of seeing it.
“So the very fact they cast me was immediately interesting. Obviously rape and sexual assault can happen to anybody, it happens to babies and old ladies and huge numbers of people every day.
“But to get someone like me in, as an ordinary middle-aged woman, that is one of the things they wanted to get across, that this could happen to anybody.”

Sir Bradley Wiggins quits The Jump

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Bradley Wiggins has quit ‘The Jump’.
The 36-year-old retired professional cyclist has said he’s “gutted” to have to pull out of the Channel 4 winter sports show, but after suffering a “small leg fracture” he is unable to continue competing.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday night (12.02.17) to share the news, the five-time Olympic champion wrote: “Gutted to be leaving The Jump. I wanted to give you an injury update…
“1/2 Seen a specialist, I have a small leg fracture & need to rest for 3/6 weeks. Good news no surgery or cast required.
“2/2 Huge thanks to the crew & good luck to all of the cast. Due to the way the show is filmed I’ll still be on until show 4, so tune in (sic)”
Bradley sustained the injury during training for the snow cross event which took place on Sunday’s show, and is “disappointed” to have to leave the show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “He doesn’t need an operation, but he does need to rest and that’s why he couldn’t carry on competing.
“He hurt himself in snow cross training, where they wear boots, it’s a cross between ice skating and skiing, it’s like an obstacle course.
“From everything we know the break should heal properly. It is a small fracture so much so that he had been hoping to be able to carry on from it.
“But the specialist he needed to keep off it. He is really disappointed not to be able to carry on and he would have done if there had been any chance to compete.”
It isn’t the first injury sustained by the sporting superstar either, as on last week’s show he suffered a torn calf muscle during a slalom race against comedian Mark Dolan.
A source said at the time: “Bradley was gutted to have sustained an injury and is doing all he can to stay in the process.
“He was taken to see a doctor and given painkillers.”

Matt Reeves in talks to direct The Batman

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Reeves is reportedly in talks to direct ‘The Batman’.
The 50-year-old screenwriter, whose previous credits include ‘Cloverfield’ and ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’, has held talks with Warner Bros. about directing the much-anticipated standalone superhero movie after Ben Affleck stepped down from the role in January.
Matt has already agreed to take on the job, but the finer details of the deal are still to be confirmed, according to Variety.
The acclaimed filmmaker has always featured prominently on the list of potential replacements for Ben – who will still have a big say in the direction of the movie – but other candidates were still being considered until recently.
Matt is currently in post-production for ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’, which is due out later this year – but subsequently has a gap in his schedule to focus on the new Batman movie.
Meanwhile, Ben announced last month that he was standing down from the directing job to focus his attention on playing the titular role.
The 44-year-old hunk said he took the decision to concentrate on giving the part of Batman the “passion” it deserves.
In a statement, he explained: “There are certain characters who hold a special place in the hearts of millions. Performing this role demands focus, passion and the very best performance I can give. It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require.
“Together with the studio, I have decided to find a partner in a director who will collaborate with me on this massive film. I am still in this, and we are making it, but we are currently looking for a director. I remain extremely committed to this project, and look forward to bringing this to life for fans around the world.”

Jack Kilmer to star in Violent Delights

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Kilmer is set to star in ‘Violent Delights’.
The 21-year-old actor – who is the son of Hollywood legend Val Kilmer – will take on the role of Michael, the frontman of an American punk rock band, in the upcoming drama centred around the real events of the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris which left 130 people dead.
‘Violent Delights’ will be directed by Rachel Palumbo, and will follow the story of a diverse group of musicians and art students who find themselves caught up in the crossfire of a Parisian terrorist attack.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie centres on two groups: the rock band fronted by Jack’s character Michael – who also team up with two expressionist painters – and a young man (played by Timur Magomedgadzhiev) from an immigrant family, both living in the French capital at the time of the horrific attacks.
The script for the project is being penned by Taylor Laughlin, who will also produce the feature alongside Bruce Nahin. Kelsey Roberts is on board to serve as the executive producer.
Production for the movie is slated to begin in the summer, with shooting taking place in both Paris and Los Angeles.
No release date has yet been confirmed for the project, nor has any other cast.
Meanwhile, Jack was previously announced as one of the starring roles of the James Franco directed romantic drama ‘The Pretenders’, alongside rising stars Shameik Moore, and Jane Levy.
Set in New York City in the 1980s, it follows two college friends (Kilmer and Moore) who fall in love with the same girl (Levy), which creates a unique love story between the threesome that spans a decade.
Jack was most recently seen on screens opposite Ryan Gosling in ‘The Nice Guys’.
