Jack Thorne to check script of Star Wars: Episode IX

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Throne is going to be creating a new draft of the ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ script.
The ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ writer has been brought in by Disney and Lucasfilm to have a look over the script for the ninth film in the main ‘Star Wars’ saga which is set for release in 2019.
Originally written by director Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly – who worked together on ‘Jurassic World’ – the duo needed a “fresh set of eyes” on the plot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Currently, it is not known whether Thorne’s input will deal with minor changes or will be a complete rewrite and is slated to start production in January next year.
Episode VIII, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, was written and directed by Rian Johnson and is set to be released this December.
‘The Last Jedi’ will see the likes of Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and John Boyega reprise their roles from ‘The Force Awakens’, and will mark the final big screen appearance of Carrie Fisher, who completed her scenes as General Leia Organa before her tragic death in December 2016 at the age of 60.
Johnson recently reassured fans that Leia’s final outing in the saga would offer “some kind of catharsis” and “emotional satisfaction”.
He said: “[I hope it] emotionally gives some kind of catharsis … it gives some kind of emotional satisfaction. I think so, I really hope so. I know for me it does.”
And the 43-year-old filmmaker says Carrie’s performance in the movie is “really beautiful”, and despite the scenes not being filmed in the knowledge they would be her last, there are still moments within the feature that will “mean a lot to people” due to her passing.
He added: “Carrie gives a really beautiful performance in the film … We obviously didn’t make the movie to be her final film – her final ‘Star Wars’ movie. Given that though, I think there are scenes that she has that are going to mean a lot to people … there are scenes that we have with her where, now not having her around, I watch them and I think, ‘I’m really thankful that we have that and that we can give that to people.’ ”

Ian McShane joins Hellboy reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Ian McShane has joined the cast of the ‘Hellboy’ reboot.
The 74-year-old actor has been cast to play Professor Broom, the scientist who adopts the titular demon child, in the Neil Marshall reboot, the Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
The part of Professor Broom was originally brought to life by the late John Hurt in the Ron Perlman movies ‘Hellboy’ and ‘Hellboy 2: The Golden Army’.
Perlman is not set to reprise his role as the demonic anti-hero in ‘Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen’, but ‘Stranger Things’ star David Harbour is on board for the titular role in the reboot and revealed the film will start shooting this September.
David previously said: “We’re supposed to go in September, I hope. It’s good. It’s a whole new thing.
“I’d always been a fan of the comics and there’s a darker tone to it and I think in the climate we have now there’s kind of a darker … a desire for more of that … the script is good and this guy Neil Marshall is directing who’s really good and the aesthetic is great.
“So often, the superhero movies can be really fun and I want this to be really fun, but I also want it to be more of a character piece and more about this dude’s struggle.
“I think it could be interesting. I don’t know, I just hope we make a good movie. We’ll see. You be the judge!”
The upcoming project has been in the pipeline for some time, but the reboot is set to happen without original director Guillermo del Toro, who couldn’t agree with the studio’s vision for the movie.
Instead, Marshall – who worked on the likes of ‘The Descent’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ – is taking charge of the film.

Cara Delevingne: Valerian deals with real-life issues

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne believes ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ reflects real-life problems.
The model-turned-actress is currently starring in the latest Luc Besson movie as Sergeant Laureline alongside Dane DeHaan and despite the futuristic setting of the “fantasy in space”, she insists the movie will still strike a chord with viewers.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “‘Valerian’ reflects a lot of the problems in the world today – war, religious differences, political issues, racism – but with a happy-go-lucky spin, because it’s a fantasy in space.
“There are so many crises in the world today I think it’s becoming more and more important to cling on to hope.
“If we lose hope, we lose everything.”
Meanwhile, Cara recently shaved her head to portray a cancer patient in ‘Life in a Year’ opposite Jaden Smith, and despite her reputation as a party girl, she admitted to staying “sober, clean, and clear-headed” during the six-week shoot because the filming was so intense and she feared slipping into depression.
She said: “It was so important to be as focused as possible, because it was the most intense and difficult role I have ever played and it was very important to spend most of my time trying to learn about what it would be like to have cancer and putting myself in those situations.
“It was a very dark six weeks because I was thinking about death every second of every day. So if I wasn’t completely clear headed it could have been very dangerous and I could have been sucked into depression.”
And the 24-year-old beauty finds her new shorter do “liberating”.
She said: “I’m in the short hair club. I like it because the maintenance is a lot less which is nice. I feel a lot more open and a little more vulnerable than when I had long hair, which is actually kind of liberating.”

Halle Berry: James Bond should be a man

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Berry doesn’t think there should ever be a female James Bond.
The 50-year-old former Bond girl has joined the debate about casting a woman in the role of the iconic British spy but, for her, the character is “steeped in history” and should always be played by a man.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Berry said: “I want women to be tough but I don’t know if Bond should be a woman. I mean, that series is steeped in history, you know from Ian Fleming’s stories. I don’t think you can change Bond to a woman. We can create a new Bond character that’s a woman, and give her a new name, based on that theory, but I don’t know if Bond should be a woman.”
Berry played starred as NSA agent Giacinta ‘Jinx’ Johnson alongside 007 Pierce Brosnan in the 2002 Bond movie ‘Die Another Day’ and appeared in one of the most memorable Bond girl scenes when she emerged from the sea in an orange two-piece bikini complete with a white belt and knife. The scene was a homage to the white bikini Ursula Andress wore as Honey Ryder in the 1962 James Bond film ‘Dr. No’, a swimsuit so iconic it has its own Wikipedia page.
Her comments come after Chris Hemsworth claimed Charlize Theron would be the ideal candidate to replace Daniel Craig as Bond following her performance in new American spy thriller ‘Atomic Blonde’.
But while Charlize appreciates the compliment, she is less than convinced about the idea and laughed off his statement.
The Oscar-winning star joked: “Chris, so, you got that cheque I sent you? Thanks, dude. I got your back.”
Charlize, 41, subsequently addressed the idea in a more serious tone, suggesting it’s not something she’d ever previously considered.
She said: “It’s so insanely generous and nice [to be mentioned]. But I don’t even know what to do with that. That’s really sweet.”
Theron said taking the role of Bond would be “cray cray”, adding: “Daniel, you got the job. I am not going to take that job away from you.”
Hemsworth – who starred with Theron in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ – had originally said: “She’s smart as hell. She’s physically able. I worked with her on ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’. Watching her in those fight scenes, doing it in high heels, by the way, and an eight foot long gown was even more impressive.”

Ron Howard: Han Solo has been fantastic

OHMYGOSSIP — Ron Howard has praised the ‘Han Solo’ movie for having a “fantastic script”.
The Academy Award-winning filmmaker took over directing ‘Star Wars’ spin-off story after directing duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller left Disney’s project due to “creative differences” with screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, who penned classic ‘Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back’.
Howard has come out to reveal he has loved every minute since he began working on the Disney project, especially getting to collaborate with such a vibrant young cast.
Speaking to Heat Vision, the 63-year-old director said: “It’s a fantastic script, a great cast and I am having a fantastic creative experience with it. It’s a great young cast, incredibly strong – smart, funny people love their characters and love being part of this. I think we’ll be able to do something that is a lot of fun.”
Lord and Miller originally signed up to the project in July 2015 and began shooting in February, but they stepped away from the movie as their “vision” for the film differed from what studio bosses were looking for and were replaced by the Academy Award winning director.
The ‘Han Solo’ spin-off movie is set to follow a younger version of the titular character, with Alden Ehrenreich taking over the iconic part from Harrison Ford.
Han and his wookiee sidekick Chewbacca will be seen first meeting Lando Calrissian – which sees Donald Glover taking on the role from Billy Dee Williams – and they will also encounter Woody Harrelson’s alter ego Beckett, who is believed to be a mentor to young Han who guides him on his journey to becoming a space smuggler.
Harrelson, 56, insists any ‘Star Wars’ fans who may have concerns about Ehrenreich as Han have nothing to worry about.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Harrelson said: “He’s a great actor and a great guy, with a great sense of humour. I think a lot of humour comes through what he’s doing. I think it could be one of the funnier ‘Star Wars’ movies.”
The ‘Star Wars Anthology’ film is slated to be released in May 2018.

Jessica Chastain: I’ll make James McAvoy cry on X-Men set

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Chastain has joked she will make James McAvoy cry “so hard” on the set of ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’.
The flame-haired actress stars alongside James in the new superhero movie and while she’s remained tight-lipped about her character’s identity, Jessica has suggested she will play an important, villainous role.
Alongside a picture of herself and James on her Instagram account, the 40-year-old star wrote: “Hey @jamesmcavoyrealdeal you ready for me up in Montreal? Im gonna make you cry so hard (sic)”
Jessica recently admitted she loves sharing things with her fans on social media – although she is still slightly guarded about what she posts on sites like Instagram.
The Hollywood actress explained she enjoys maintaining an “air of mystery” about herself.
She said: “I love sharing things with my fans and social media is a fantastic platform to put [positive things into the world].
“I don’t put anything out there that isn’t already in the press. I’m not going to put a picture of myself in a bikini.
“I’m not going to put a picture of something people wouldn’t normally see. I like to keep an air of mystery.”
And despite being one of the most sought-after women in the movie business, Jessica confessed that she doesn’t feel “uber confident”.
She said: “It’s not an industry that creates confidence; it’s something you’ve really got to find within yourself.
“I don’t feel uber-confident.”
Jessica also said she is a “very awkward girl” and can be unsociable at times.
Jessica shared: “I’m actually normally a very awkward girl and kind of shy and I’m not very social and so much has been going on. I’m talking about gender politics and the wage gap and women not asking for what they need.”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi to give Carrie Fisher ‘amazing’ send off

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ offers an “amazing” send off for the late Carrie Fisher.
The iconic actress – who passed away in December 2016 aged 60 – will make her final ever outing as Princess Leia in the upcoming eighth instalment of the popular sci-fi franchise in scenes filmed prior to her death, and fellow ‘Star Wars’ actor John Boyega has said the movie does well in paying homage to the star.
Speaking to ABC News, John, 25, said: “We really enjoyed each other’s company. I was in Nigeria when we found out [about her death]. It was a strange, strange feeling. I felt like everyone in the cast went silent for a bit after that … [But] this movie, it sends her off in an amazing, amazing way.”
The news comes after director Rian Johnson reassured fans that Princess Leia’s final outing would offer “some kind of catharsis” and “emotional satisfaction”.
He said: “[I hope it] emotionally gives some kind of catharsis… it gives some kind of emotional satisfaction. I think so, I really hope so. I know for me it does.”
And the 43-year-old filmmaker says Carrie’s performance in the movie is “really beautiful”, and despite the scenes not being filmed in the knowledge they would be her last, there are still moments within the feature that will “mean a lot to people”.

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ will hit screens on December 15.

Marissa Jade to face eviction from Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Marissa Jade is the first star to face eviction from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 32-year-old actress – who is known for starring in the US reality TV show ‘Mob Wives’ – will have to put her faith in the public as she has become one of the first contestants to face the boot after Shaun Williamson picked her in a killer nomination.
Bosses told the former ‘EastEnders’ star that he had to pick one of his co-stars to put up for eviction after he lost his secret challenge in last night’s (01.08.17) launch show.
The 51-year-old actor was the first contestant to enter the famous abode and was immediately called into the diary room to be set the task of tricking his housemates.
Shaun – who was known for playing idiot Barry Evans in the soap – had to convince his co-stars that he was the most nervous contestant while persuading the likes of Brandi Glanville to pour water over his head and Derek Acorah to give him a hug.
If he won the challenge, he would immediately get immunity and have to make a killer nomination but, because he lost, he failed to nab his half of his reward.
Elsewhere in the show, in scenes that will air tonight (02.08.17) Jordan Davies and Trisha Paytas seem to be getting to know one another on a personal level.
The flamboyant YouTuber told the hunk: “You’re extra. I don’t want to be around you, you seem a lot. Are you a hooker? A escort?”
She then goes on to ask him if he’s been circumcised, before the ‘Ex on the Beach’ heartthrob treats her to a sentence in Welsh.
She asked: “Is that really a language or are you just making it up?”

Shaun Williamson to wed in secret

OHMYGOSSIP — Shaun Williamson is set to get married next spring.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star – who played bumbling mess Barry Evans in the long-running soap from 1994 until his alter ego was dramatically killed off in 2004 – secretly popped the question to his partner Adele Seager last year and the pair are planning to tie the knot in a private ceremony next April, according to The Sun Online.
This won’t be the first time Shaun has got married though as he previously got hitched to Melanie Jane Sacre, with whom he has two children Sophie and Joseph, in 1997.
The pair met while they were both taking part in an amateur dramatics production but they have since divorced in secret.
And, although he’s known for keeping his private life close to his chest, fans are no doubt hoping Shaun will open up about his romantic side while he’s in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house after he entered the famous abode in last night’s (01.08.17) show.
The 51-year-old actor was the first celebrity to step foot in the abode, but was left feeling a little uncomfortable as producers instantly set him a challenge.
Shaun was told he had to convince all of his new fellow housemates that he was the most nervous contestant and carry out a series of tasks – including getting Brandi Glanville to pour water over his head, persuade Derek Acorah to give him a long hug, and choose someone to be his “rock” – without being caught out by his co-stars.
‘Ex on the Beach’ hunk Jordan Davies, Helen Lederer, Sam Thompson, Paul Danan, Sarah Harding, Sandi Bogle and Jemma Lucy were among those who also went in.

Nadine Coyle wishes Sarah Harding good luck in CBB

OHMYGOSSIP — Nadine Coyle is nervous for Sarah Harding in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 32-year-old singer is pleased her former Girls Aloud band mate has decided to enter the famous abode and, although she knows she’ll do well because she’s a “gentle sweet soul at heart”, she has admitted she’s really anxious for her.
Taking to her Twitter account, Nadine – who is the only member of the group who still keeps in touch with Sarah – said: “SARAH IS IN BB. She is a such a gentle sweet soul at heart!!! I am so nervous for her but hoping she has a wonderful time!! (sic)”
Sarah entered the house in last night’s (01.08.17) launch show and is determined to show the public the “real her” after she became known as the “party girl” of the band.
She said before she went in: “I played up to a caricature when I was in the band, always pouting in photos and being the entertainer. But I’m also emotional and sensitive, not as thick-skinned as people think. I live in the country and I’m older and wiser.”
Sarah, 35, spent a period of time in rehab in 2011, while she tried to beat depression, alcoholism and an addiction to sleeping pills.
But the singer has insisted she’s a totally different person these days, although she still enjoys the occasional “glass of wine at lunch”.
Meanwhile, Nadine recently revealed she has decided she feels ready to give her solo career another stab and has teamed up with the ‘Love Machine’ girl group’s producer Brian Higgins in a bid to get her music in the charts.
There is also talk of the singer – who has three-year-old daughter Anaíya Bell with partner Jason Bell – making a track for her first record since her 2010 debut LP ‘Insatiable’ with her former band mates.

George Sampson wants Coronation Street role

OHMYGOSSIP — George Sampson wants to land a role in ‘Coronation Street’.
The former ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner – who walked away with the crown in 2008 at the age of just 14 years old – has admitted it would be a “dream” come true if he were to nab a part in the long-running soap because he’s obsessed with the programme.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (02.08.17), he said: “My dream job would be to get in ‘Coronation Street’. We watch it religiously, like we actually set our alarms to watch it. I’m in rehersals until six o’clock so that gives me an hour and a half to get back in time. I love ‘Coronation Street’.”
And the 24-year-old hunk certainly has experience when it comes to working on a soap set as he previously had a short stint as Ryan Harred in rival show ‘Emmerdale’.
He said recently: “I went in for four episodes and they never said, ‘That’s it now.’ Then suddenly I was given another, then another, then another. I’d love to have a permanent role. It’s a massive year for the show.”
And George – who shot to fame at the tender age of 14 – believes landing the soap role last year was a lifeline.
He said: “I was going through a rough time. I didn’t have an agent and was looking after my grandad, who was poorly. Then he passed away and I wasn’t concentrating on work. I got a call from ITV saying, ‘We’ve got this part we want you to do.’ I assumed it was a joke. It’s meant that I’ve been acting again, so it’s more experience for me.”
However, George’s dancing has taken a “backseat” since he landed the role.
He added: “Dancing has taken a backseat since I started acting. It’s so hard to fit training in but I’ll never stop dancing.”

Heavy D wants paternity test

OHMYGOSSIP — Heavy D has demanded a paternity test on his unborn child.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ contestant – who infuriated viewers last summer when he screeched “BOOM” every time he got excited on the show – has hit out at his ex-girlfriend Bryony Harris on Twitter after she allegedly “refused” to have the DNA test done on the baby she’s carrying to prove he’s the father of the tot.
He wrote: “Basically my ex who is 7 months pregnant who says I’m the father has basically just said I can’t have a DNA test, cant give me a reason why. (sic)”
The loud-mouth ‘Storage Hunters’ star went on to accuse his 22-year-old former flame of cheating on him as he believes she conceived after they split up.
He said: “Nah man no way! we split up for a week at around the same time the baby was meant to be conceived! I don’t believe in coincidences!
And Heavy D – whose real name is Colin Newell – is even prepared to take Bryony on ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ to have the DNA test once the baby is here because he’s already spent out £1,000 on newborn stuff and wants his cash back if he’s not the dad.
He said: “And she’s telling me i’lll just have to believe her. Yeh alright! I’m not the father until @itvjeremykyle says I’m the father!
“I’m £1k down spending money on baby stuff in @Mothercarehelp if I find out its not mine I’m gonna find the real dad and get my £1k back! (sic)”.
The pair started dating last year and swiftly got engaged, but things came crashing down on Christmas Day when they called it quits.
However, their separation was short-lived as they rekindled things in February before splitting once again a short while later – and this time it appears to be for good.

Line of Duty gets another 2 series

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Line of Duty’ has been commissioned for another two series.
The show’s creator Jed Mercurio was recently given the go-ahead to pen another instalment of the police drama following the conclusion of series four but he’s unsurprisingly over the moon as bosses have decided to do a sixth as well.
Speaking an event launching a raft of new BBC drama commissions, according to the RadioTimes.com, BBC director-general Tony Hall said: “I am very excited to say there’s not one but two more series of ‘Line of Duty’. So hooray for AC-12!”
The broadcaster’s decision to do another two series comes shortly after Mercurio said it would be “nice to know” it’s not the end before he starts penning the fifth instalment.
He said at the time: “It’s not my decision in the end. It’s the broadcaster and the fans that are still watching the show, but I love making the show. We all love working together.
“So at the moment, no-one wants to stop making ‘Line of Duty’. I’d definitely like to be able to do a sixth series. That means we can approach the fifth series knowing that it’s not going to be the last.”
However, viewers will have to wait a while before they’ll be able to watch the fifth series as Jed has revealed they’re not planning to start shooting until the end of next year.
He explained: “The plan is we won’t shoot ‘Line of Duty’ series five until next year and that means it won’t be on air until 2019. We haven’t even decided if the next antagonist will be male or female, we are that far off from puzzling it out.”
Although Jed hasn’t started working on the script for the fifth instalment yet, the cast have to agree to some strict terms and conditions before they’re given their lines.
A source said previously: “The cast’s contracts stipulate they can’t give away the show’s secrets. That is the last thing any would want to do but if they did by accident they would be in breach of contract.
“And the consequences could be serious. They might even face financial penalties.”

Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville to move in together?

OHMYGOSSIP — Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville are talking about moving in together.
The ‘Love Island’ couple raised eyebrows over the authenticity of their romance while they were inside the villa last month as they were the only pair not to have sex, but it seems things are picking up between them now as they are looking forward to spending time with one another away from the cameras and in their own abode.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (02.08.17) Gabby explained: “I’m loving it [being out of the villa and away from the camera], we can actually just enjoy each other’s company now without having to be on camera all the time. It’s refreshing.”
Marcel added: “We’re going to make normal life a bit more normal. Gabby and I are talking about moving in together and doing all the things that come down the line.”
And it seems the blonde beauty has already developed a protective streak for her man as she was forced to “name and shame” a number of online bullies last night on Snapchat after she read some vicious racial slurs regarding their relationship.
She explained: “I just couldn’t believe in this day and age that we were going to come out to that response and I’ve grown up in multicultural cities and grown up with different people and never been in the brunt of it, so to have to deal with that and so publicly, it’s just so awful and I can’t believe that’s going on. I think it’s because we don’t hear about it so much anymore because it’s hidden but it does still go on. There are some idiotic people in the world and they should be ashamed.”

Jordan Davies is terrified of ex Megan McKenna

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Davies is scared of his “nasty” ex-fiancee Megan McKenna.
Fans were hoping that the ‘Ex on the Beach’ hunk would spill the beans on his turbulent relationship with the ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who he proposed to in 2015 – after he entered the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house on Tuesday (01.08.17) night, but he’s adamant he’ll never speak about her again because she’ll “kick off.”
Speaking to the Sun Online, Jordan said: “Talk about her? No way. I’m never going to talk about her again. Every time I mention her it all kicks off, and I get so much abuse it’s not worth it. I want nothing to do with her at all.”
It seems Jordan learnt his lesson a few years back when he dubbed her a “nasty piece of work” shortly after their relationship broke down.
He said at the time: “She’s a nasty piece of work who totally deceived me. All she cared was her career and being famous. I might date someone in the public eye again but it would have to be one hundred per cent right. It’s hard to trust people now. They only want to get with us because I’ve been on TV.”
At the time of their split, Megan’s side responded to his accusations that she only cared about being famous and said she dumped Jordan for “numerous reasons.”
They said: “Megan ended the relationship for numerous reasons, not least because her ex is a consummate storyteller and was obviously more interested in the idea of fame than being a real man.”
After her stint of ‘Ex On The Beach’, Megan took part in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and was removed from the house after her violent and aggressive behaviour.

Coronation Street’s Rita Sullivan set for dementia storyline

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Rita Sullivan is set for a tragic dementia storyline.
The loveable corner shop owner – portrayed by Barbara Knox – has sparked fears for her health in recent days after she seemingly forgot that she had bought her neighbour a mug and then, in distressing scenes to be aired next week, she forgets what day it is.
Although she looks fit as a fiddle, fans are convinced her deteriorating memory will lead to a heartbreaking battle with dementia which, ultimately, will claim her life.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, a spokesperson for the long-running soap refused to comment on whether the screen legend would be written out in the future.
However, it’s believed producers are hoping they can outdo Mike Baldwin’s (Johnny Briggs) shocking fight against Alzheimer’s in 2005 which contributed to his death.
Rumours that Rita is going to be killed off comes just a year after Samia Ghadie – who plays hairdresser Maria Connor in the show – warned fans to get their tissues ready as a “well-loved member of the cast” is set to die in heartbreaking scenes in the future.
She said at the time: “It’s been great fun filming, but this week I’ve been recording some of THE saddest scenes I’ve ever done in my 17 years at ‘Corrie’. When I first read the scripts I was in tears so getting to film them has set me off. You may need your tissues when they air. And we say a sad goodbye to a well loved member of the cast.”
However, although viewers will be forced to say goodbye to one of their favourite characters, new boss Kate Oates – who previously worked on ‘Emmerdale’ – has revealed that some new and old faces are set to grace the cobbled streets of Weatherfield throughout the next year or so.
The decision to pull in some more cast members comes just weeks after it was revealed the show will air six nights a week from 2017.
