Candice Brown is engaged

OHMYGOSSIP — Candice Brown is engaged.
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ champion is set to tie the knot with her long-term partner Liam Macaulay – who she’s been with since 2002 – after he got down on one knee and popped the question in a car park – where they had their first date – in Bedfordshire.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, the brunette beauty said: “I get emotional because it’s been such an amazing year. I feel very lucky. I’ve had such incredible opportunities – ‘GBBO’ opened so many doors – and to top it off he puts a ring on it.
“He reached into the glove compartment, got out the ring, got down on one knee and said: ‘I love you, you are my world. Will you marry me?’ ”
Liam added: “So I proposed in a car park. But it really meant something to us. Candice just cried for five minutes before she could say: ‘Yes!’ ”
And, although the 32-year-old beauty has been waiting a long time for this engagement, she and Liam are hoping to get hitched as soon as possible and are even considering getting wed abroad because they want the ceremony to be outside.
Candice explained: “Or in the countryside. Because of Liam’s job, a wedding outdoors would be pretty special to us … Of course I would invite the ‘GBBO’ contestants. They have become 11 good friends. We have a WhatsApp group and speak nearly every day. We clicked so well in the tent – we laughed so much – and it just continued.”
And once they’re engaged, Candice and Liam would like to start trying for babies.
Asked if she wants a child, the former teacher said: “Oh gosh, yes, definitely.”
Liam added: “A five-a-side football team.”
Candice interjected: “Maybe two of them!”

Bruno Langley’s final Coronation Street episode revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Langley will appear on ‘Coronation Street’ until Christmas Eve (24.12.17).
Show bosses held an internal inquiry following claims the 34-year-old actor sexually assaulted a woman in a nightclub, and the star has since confirmed over the weekend he is leaving the soap after playing Todd Grimshaw on and off for the last 16 years, and his final episode will air on December 24.
A show insider told the Manchester Evening News: “Scenes featuring Bruno will continue to be screened until December 24.
“These were filmed before our inquiry started. Subsequent storylines beyond this point have been rewritten.”
A show spokesperson confirmed he had departed the soap but didn’t indicate why, simply saying: “Bruno Langley is no longer contracted to ‘Coronation Street’.”
Bruno admitted it was an “absolute honour” to count the show as part of his life and thanked his co-stars for their “love, friendship and support” during what he described as an “extremely difficult period”.
He said: “Sadly, I will no longer be working on Coronation Street. Acting on the show has been the fulfilment of a personal dream. Playing the role of Todd Grimshaw since I was 17 years old has been a huge part of my life, and an absolute honour.
“I would like to thank all of my friends who work on the show for their love, friendship and support during this extremely difficult period. I will make a further statement in due course, and when I am able to do so.”
On Thursday (26.10.17), Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were investigating an alleged incident which took place at the Band on the Wall nightclub in the city.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 1am on Sunday, 1st October 2017, police received a report a woman in her 30s had been sexually assaulted at an entertainment venue. Inquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”

Talia Dean leaves The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Talia Dean has left ‘The X Factor’.
The 32-year-old contestant – who rejoined the show as a wildcard – was kicked out of the competition after she received the least amount of votes from the public.
Speaking after her exit, Talia said: “I just think that they’re all amazing so there’s no way I’m going to compete with that. I’ve had an amazing time; I cannot be sad at all. It has been a ride.”
Nicole Scherzinger looked shocked as she waited for either Talia or Tracy Leanne Jefford’s name to be called as the Overs and the Groups battled it out.
And Rak Su won the public vote on Sunday night (29.10.17), meaning they had a chance to battle Grace Davies to win the money-can’t-buy prize of seeing Pink in action at Madison Square Garden in New York City and getting a chance to meet her backstage.
A public vote crowned Grace as the winner and she couldn’t smile anymore if she tried as she was told she had bagged the prize.
She shared: “That is just the best. I think the most heartwarming thing for me is that the public want original songs and that to us [is amazing].”
Meanwhile, Alesha Dixon stood in for Simon Cowell as he missed the second live show on doctor’s orders after he fell down the stairs on Friday (27.10.17).
Speaking at the beginning of the show, host Dermot O’Leary said: “Simon is still not well enough to be here, but fear not in his stead we’ve bought in a hugely talented superstar, Alesha Dixon.”
Whilst she added: “Simon and I have the same birthday but we’re very, very different. I’m honest but need to be here for the groups. Simon, I genuinely hope you’re OK, and wish you well.”
The ‘X Factor’ returns next Saturday (04.11.17).

Vogue Williams wants her own reality show

OHMYGOSSIP — Vogue Williams wants to have her own reality show with boyfriend Spencer Matthews.
The 32-year-old Irish model sparked up a romance with the 28-year-old television personality during this year’s winter competition ‘The Jump’, and the star has revealed she would “love” to appear on another programme with the dark-haired hunk.
Speaking to Star magazine, the blonde-haired beauty said: “I’d love to. Me and Spencer met on ‘The Jump’ and I love it. He was really good and ended up winning the show, so anything like that would be good.”
But Vogue insists neither she nor her dark-haired beau will be making an appearance on ‘Made In Chelsea’ – which Spencer starred on for five years when the E4 programme first aired in 2011 – any time soon because she wants to keep her personal life private.
She said: “Spencer will never go back. And I don’t think I could go on it, because as much as I seem like I’m not a private person, I am.”
And Spencer has vowed never to appear in another true life show once ‘Five Star Hotel’ airs.
Speaking previously, he said: “Doing ‘Five Star Hotel’ is really fun but you find yourself wondering why you’re still doing reality TV at my age, to be honest. So I’d say this will be my last reality show. I’ve always thought when you turn 30 that’s when you become a real adult.”
Meanwhile, Vogue has admitted she has settled in well living with her beau and is glad her lover doesn’t have any “bad habits” to annoy her.
She said: “We’ve just moved in together and he’s at home looking after my dog at the moment while I’m out here filming.
“I’ve always lived with boys, so I’m used to it. It’s really good and luckily he has no bad habits, so I can’t complain.”

Simon Rimmer leaves Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Rimmer is the fifth celebrity to leave ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 54-year-old television presenter and his professional partner Karen Clifton were booted out of the competition on Sunday night (29.10.17) after a spooktacular dance-off against Mollie King and AJ Pritchard.
Simon and Karen took to the floor once again to perform their Viennese Waltz to ‘Delilah’ but it failed to impress the judges – Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas – and they opted to save Mollie and AJ, who danced a Cha Cha to ‘Better The Devil You Know’.
Speaking about his time on the show, Simon said: “Do you know it has been the most amazing experience ever from the minute I walked in through the door. The Strictly experience is just so positive, every single person involved in it is so positive. And like, all of that lot up there, all the rest of the class of 2017, are just magnificent people. All the pro dancers are amazing.
“When I danced the Waltz to ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and it touched people, I will never ever forget that; our Charleston last week was a giggle, it was brilliant. Every person who has come up and said hello and thank you messages has been brilliant. But the biggest thank you obviously is to Karen, who has just been amazing, who has convinced this lumbering 54-year-old bloke that I could stand-up on a Saturday night and dance in front of millions of people and she has become you know, a proper friend not just to me but to all my family and for that I can’t thank you enough.”
Whilst Karen added: “A complete beginner but you know what, you’ve grown to be such a great performer and I’ve loved every second really and it’s been a privilege. And thank you for all the food!”
Craig opted to save Mollie and AJ as he felt their performance was “more technically demanding” whilst Darcey praised the pair for their “competent performance”. Bruno also felt that Mollie and AJ gave a “better performance in regards to content and performance value”.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues next Saturday (04.11.17) where the remaining contestants will take to the dancefloor once again to battle it out for the Glitterball trophy.

Star Wars costume designer John Mollo dies

OHMYGOSSIP — Costume designer John Mollo has died.
The Oscar-winning designer – who was most famous for his work on ‘Star Wars’ passed away at the age of 86 earlier this week, it has been confirmed.
Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the sci-fi franchise, paid tribute to John on Twitter.
He shared a number of images on Twitter and wrote: “Sad to say goodbye to the brilliant John Mollo. He kindly let me pore through his designs-artwork & books.(sic)”
John won an Oscar in 1977 for his work on ‘Star Wars’ – which included adapting Ralph McQuarrie’s concept art for the iconic costumes worn by the Stormtroopers and Darth Vader – and picked up another alongside Bhanu Athaiya for ‘Gandhi’, which starred Sir Ben Kingsley.
He also worked on a number of other classic films, such as ‘Alien’, ‘The Legend of Tarzan’, ‘Chaplin’, ‘Air America’, ‘The Three Musketeers’, and ‘Lord of the Apes’.
He was also a military historian who wrote books about military costumes and worked as an advisor on movies such as ‘Charge of the Light Brigade’, ‘Barry Lyndon’, ‘Nicholas and Alexandra’ and ‘Zulu Dawn’.
Speaking about John’s work, ‘Star Wars’ creator George Lucas previously said: “I wanted somebody that really knew armour, somebody who was more into military hardware rather than somebody who knew how to design for the stage.
“I wanted designs that wouldn’t stand out, which would blend in and look like they belonged there.”

The Weinstein Company could change name

OHMYGOSSIP — The Weinstein Company’s lawyer admits it is “not easy” to keep the company going in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
Though the disgraced producer was fired from the company he co-founded in the wake of a New York Times expose that accused him of sexual misconduct and prompted dozens of other accusations of harassment, inappropriate behaviour and even allegations of rape, Bertram ‘Bert’ Fields admitted they may have to consider changing the name of the firm to further distance themselves because it has become “toxic” to audiences.
Speaking at an event at Harvard Law School, he said: “It’s no secret that Harvey Weinstein committed very, very bad acts.
“I represent the company, not Harvey. We’re trying to keep the company alive and afloat.
“It’s not easy because the name has become toxic. If we change the name, is that going to make people want to see Weinstein movies? If we called it Pathfinder Films? I don’t know.”
And Bert admitted the company are anticipating being hit by a number of lawsuits in the wake of Weinstein’s alleged behaviour being exposed.
He said: “We have a first lawsuit from a woman who is suing the company for negligence in not restraining Harvey in doing the things that he did, which is unique. I think we’re going to get maybe 15, 20 of those lawsuits.
“It raises a lot of interesting issues. This woman for example, voluntarily, according to her own story, went up to Harvey’s hotel room and there engaged in sexual acts voluntarily. She doesn’t say he forced her. She does say that he told her that he would help her career.
“So she is suing the company for not restraining Harvey from doing this kind of thing.”
While Weinstein is said to be planning to sue over his dismissal from the company, the 88-year-old legal expert doesn’t believe he or his lawyer, Patricia Glaser, has any grounds to take action.
He said: “I want to see her complaint that sues us, claiming that this is wrongful termination. I mean, if ever somebody had a ground to fire a guy, it seems like it’s the Weinstein Company.”
The movie mogul has repeatedly denied allegations of non-consensual sex.

Kate Hudson is reluctant to leave her family for work

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson won’t take on a movie unless it’s worth leaving her family.
The 38-year-old actress has decided to take a huge step back from her acting career over the past few months because nothing has cropped up that has convinced her to spend an extended period of time away from her sons Ryder, 13, and six-year-old Bingham.
She explained: “If I’m going to make a movie, it has to be one I really want to do if it means being away from my family for any length of time. When I have to be on a set at 5:30am, I never want to be thinking: ‘What am I doing here when I could be making my kids breakfast?'”
And it’s not just the emotional side of things the blonde beauty finds tough as it’s so exhausting trying to balance her Hollywood career with being a mother – though she’s lucky to have her brother, who helps to babysit her children when she’s busy on a film set.
She told OK! magazine: “It’s tiring sometimes, but I have a lot of help. When you’re a mother, you try to look after everyone and hold things together even if you feel worn down and in need of support. My brother is a great baby sitter.”
And when she’s not at work, Kate tries to encourage her children to get out in fresh air and enjoy nature because that’s how her mother Goldie Hawn and her step-father Kurt Russell raised her.
She explained: “We were always a very outdoorsy family. We moved from Los Angeles to Colorado and it was such a beautiful environment.
“They created a very happy, harmonious home life for us and I’ve tried to do the same for my children. I grew up riding dirt bikes, hiking and enjoying being in nature. That stays with you all your life.”

Chloe Lewis buys a house with boyfriend

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Lewis has bought a house with her boyfriend Danny Flasher.
The 26-year-old reality star has been dating the dark-haired hunk for just under a year, and the pair have already taken their romance to the next step as they have both gone in and purchased their first property together.
Speaking to Star magazine about her romance, the ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star said: “He’s a really lovely person and I’m really loved up. He’s an absolute dream and such a nice boy.
“We’ve just bought a house together.”
Though the couple are living together, Chloe – who previously dated former ITVBe co-star Jake Hall – has revealed her beau has been asked to join the programme, but he turned down the offer because he likes the fashion icon to be in the “limelight”.
She explained: “It’s not really for him and he has been asked about the show. He’s got quite a good job and he’s happy with me taking the limelight and enjoying the perks of it.”
However, Chloe is open to having her lover join the cast and bringing their love life to the small screen.
She said: “I would never say never, because I don’t know where I’ll be in a year’s time and Danny doesn’t know where he’s going to be in a year’s time.”
Meanwhile, Chloe has revealed Danny has been quizzing on her outfit choice as she hadn’t got “dressed up” for a long time and was relaxing at home in her “big baggy” leisurewear.
She said: “The other day my boyfriend was like, ‘I haven’t seen you get dressed up in ages.’ When I’m filming and going to events I always get my hair and make-up done, so when I’m indoors it’s nice to wear a big baggy old T-shirt of his.”

Sharon Osbourne wouldn’t sweat on Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne would never take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ because she doesn’t want to sweat on TV.
The ‘X Factor’ judge – whose children Kelly and Jack Osbourne have both competed on the US version, ‘Dancing With the Stars’ – insists she has never been tempted by the talent show’s BBC rival because she would “die” worrying about her personal hygiene instead of focusing on the dance or her partner.
Asked if she’d consider ‘Strictly’, she said: I don’t like to perspire and you sweat doing that.
“I can’t be doing with all that. My armpits would be all moist. I couldn’t take it! All that throwing you around every night. I’m not bothered about the hunky men, I’d be going ‘Does my breath stink? Do my armpits? I would die doing it!”
Instead, the 65-year-old star has already signed up for next year’s ‘X Factor’ and she admits it was a very easy decision to make.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I love the show so I wanted to stay. The industry is all I know. I’m a sad old fart! I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.”
Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell are also signed up to return, and Sharon is hoping Nicole Scherzinger will also agree to stay, despite speculation Cheryl Tweedy is set to make a comeback in place of the ‘Poison’ hitmaker.
She said: “I would love to see Nicole stay because she’s my friend. You want your buddies with you, don’t you?
“It’s not I don’t want to work with Cheryl, she’s great. But Nicole and I have been friends a long time. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.”
This year Sharon – who also has daughter Aimee with husband Ozzy Osbourne – is mentoring the Girls category, and she’s told her contestants to stay away from social media because it is so unreliable.
She explained: “I tell them all not to look at social media.
“People think it’s a good indication of what is out there, but it isn’t. You get a few nutters out there. One half tell you you’re fabulous and the other hate you. It’s not a good indicator.”

Simon Cowell to defy medical advice

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell will defy his doctor to appear on ‘The X Factor’ tonight (29.10.17).
The 58-year-old music mogul sat out the first live show of the series last night (28.10.17) after he was rushed to hospital on Friday (27.10.17) when he fainted and fell down the stairs of his London home, and though medics have suggested he may suffer a relapse because of the heat and light of the studio, he is determined to be back in his judge’s chair to support his groups when they perform for the first time.
A source said: “We are expecting him to turn up on the show on Sunday.
“He doesn’t want to leave his acts to perform without him there.
“Provided he continues to improve, he will do everything he can to be there.”
However, Simon is still in constant pain and was left “very shaken” by the incident.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: “Simon is suffering bad pains in his neck, and is still very shaken.
“He thought he may have broken his back, and he’s told friends it was the most scared he’s ever been in his life.”
Simon was prescribed morphine for his pain and will continue to undergo tests this week to determine why he passed out.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star was looking after his three-year-old son, Eric, when he fainted, but his girlfriend Lauren Silverman has now returned to London from New York to be with them while he recovers.
A source previously said: “Simon was at his home alone with Eric, apart from his security team and nanny.
“Lauren’s son Adam lives in New York and it was her week to look after him there.
“But she was distraught to be woken up by the news and immediately rushed to the airport to get back home to be with Simon. She is upset and worried.
“Luckily there was a nanny at the house who was able to look after Eric.”
It was previously revealed medics feared Simon had broken his neck when he fell.
A source said: “Simon had woken up and wasn’t feeling right. He was dizzy so went downstairs to fetch some warm milk.
“He fainted when he was climbing back up the stairs to the first floor. His security team heard a loud thump and knew he’d gone down.
“They immediately called emergency services and an ambulance rushed to the house.
“But he couldn’t be moved for some time because he felt a pain in his spine so they were worried there could be some type of much more serious problem like a broken back.”

Claire Foy praises Olivia Colman

OHMYGOSSIP — Claire Foy thinks Olivia Colman will make an “amazing” Queen Elizabeth.
The 33-year-old actress will step aside from her lead role in Netflix biographical drama ‘The Crown’ at the end of the second series to make way for the ‘Broadchurch’ star, and the brunette beauty thinks casting bosses have made the perfect choice.
However, Claire admitted it has been tough to keep the news quiet until it was made public this week because she was so “excited” about it.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “[I’ve known about Colman’s casting for] months. It was really cruel.
“I’ve known for a really long time and I’ve been excited for a really long time. We’ve spoken and I just think she’s the most extraordinary actress and she’s also an incredibly wonderful human being, so i just think it’s great. It’s amazing.
“I just can’t wait to see what she does with it. The part’s not mine – it never was – it goes on and lives on. So, I just can’t think of anyone better.”
The British actress insists Olivia “doesn’t need” any advice from her on taking on the role because everyone who has played the 91-year-old British monarch will have their own version of her.
She said: “[The queen has] had the most incredible career, and that’s the thing, it’s everyone’s own experience.
“I think Helen Mirren probably had a completely different experience. The part’s been done before. And Kristin Scott Thomas, and all the other people who played her in different incarnations. I just think it’s not anything for me to advise. It’s not mine anymore. It’s hers!”
Claire and her co-star, Matt Smith – who plays Prince Philip – found shooting the second series of the drama “bittersweet” because they knew their time on the show was coming to an end.
She said: “It wasn’t bittersweet really. Knowing that we were only going to do two series just meant that we enjoyed every single moment.
“That was the beauty of it, that we never took it for granted.”
And as for what fans can expect from the upcoming second series, Claire warned fans it can be “hard” viewing.
She said: “You can look forward to a lot of Matt Smith in this series, there’s a lot of Philip, which is amazing. It’s such an incredibly story and he’s brilliant [but] there’s some hard moments. It’s not as romantic and cheerful as the first series, unfortunately.”

Casey Batchelor wants to do Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Batchelor wants to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 33-year-old former glamour model has admitted it’s her “dream” to take part in the ballroom and latin competition in the near future, but she’d turned down any other reality TV after she endured a tumultuous time on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2014 when she was caught up in a love triangle.
She explained: “Never say never but ‘CBB’ was definitely one of the most dramatic times of my life and it’s still spoken about! You lot were just watching on TV, but it was 10 times worse in the house. But I’d love to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – that’s my dream.”
The brunette beauty was left heartbroken three years ago when Lee Ryan played her and Jasmine Waltz against one another in the infamous house, but she’s learnt from the experience and is determined to keep her new relationship, who she refuses to name, out of the limelight.
She told new! magazine: “I’m really good. It’s going great, we’re very happy. We’re living together and I think this is definitely it – he’s the man for me. I’m 33 so it’s about time. I think it’s better to keep it private. He does his thing, I do mine and it suits us. I don’t regret how the other relationships played out on screen but being in the public eye does put so much pressure on things. I love that my man likes me for me. He doesn’t care about coming to events or being papped. He wants to stay out of it.”

Bruno Langley leaves Coronation Street

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Langley has left ‘Coronation Street’ amidst claims he sexually assaulted a woman in a nightclub.
The 34-year-old actor – who played Todd Grimshaw in the ITV soap – has confirmed he has left the show after playing Todd on and off for 16 years.
He said in a statement: “Sadly, I will no longer be working on Coronation Street.

Whilst a spokesperson for the show said: “Bruno Langley is no longer contracted to Coronation Street.”
And now show bosses are said to be racing to work out how they can write his character out.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Crew were heard discussing using a body double.
“New scenes show Adam Barlow telling Ken that Todd has left Weatherfield with his young ward Summer.”
On Thursday, Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were investigating an alleged incident which took place at the Band on the Wall nightclub in the northern city.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 1am on Sunday, 1st October 2017, police received a report a woman in her 30s had been sexually assaulted at an entertainment venue. Inquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”

Spencer Sutherland leaves X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Spencer Sutherland has been kicked off ‘The X Factor’.
The 25-year-old singer – who hails from Pickerington, Ohio, United States – has been booted out of the competition as the live shows returned on Saturday (28.10.17).
Speaking after his exit, he said: “I just want to thank everybody so much. I want to thank the UK for taking me on with open arms. It means a lot. I want to thank you guys so much – thank you Louis. I want to thank all my friends [the other contestants] up there. Thank you so much.”
A new year brought a new format for the show and there was no deadlock or sing-off, with the public having the final say on who they wanted out.
New for 2017, the top act of the night was revealed to be Grace Davies, who as the winner of Saturday’s show, will battle it out with Sunday night’s winner for a chance to win a money-can’t-buy prize – to see pop superstar Pink perform at Madison Square Garden in New York and even meet the star backstage.
The first live show of the series pitted Louis Walsh’s Boys category against Sharon Osbourne’s Girls with the wildcard from each category – Leon Mallett and Alisah Bonaobra – grabbing their second chance with both hands.
Simon Cowell was missing from the show after a fall at his London home on Friday (27.10.17) and host Dermot O’Leary and Simon’s fellow judges Nicole Scherzinger, Louis and Sharon sent their well wishes to the music mogul before joking about “which one of them did it”.
Dermot said: “Oh you’re loving it you three! So, fess up, the question the whole country wants an answer to, Who put the banana skin at the top of the stairs?”
His comments earned a gasp from Louis, who quipped: “No, Dermot, I was boiling the milk. I was boiling the milk downstairs. They were upstairs, so it was one of these two.”
Before Nicole jokingly confessed: “It was a team effort. We both did it.”
And Cheryl Tweedy also made an appearance at the show – there to cheer on her boyfriend Liam Payne, who sang a rendition of his new single ‘Bedroom Floor’ – and she sent her best wishes to Simon too.
She told Dermot: “First of all, I really miss you Simon. I know you’ll be watching at home. You’re very, very missed and we love you.”
‘X Factor’ will return to ITV on Sunday (29.10.17), where the Overs and the Groups will fight to stay in the competition.

Debbie McGee wows in Strictly spook-tacular

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee topped the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ leaderboard with a chilling Charleston during the show’s Halloween week.
The 58-year-old star and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice wowed the judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli – with their impressive dance to Sister Sledge’s ‘Frankie’, receiving perfect 10s from three of the judges and a fantastic nine from Craig.
Shirley loved the performance so much that she offered Debbie her Queen of Latin crown.
She told her: “I’m going to give you my Queen of Latin crown. I loved everything. You were brilliant.”
And Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara closed the show with a near-enough flawless Paso Doble to Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit, earning them an impressive 38.
Bruno told them: “That was a paso doble that brought the dead back to life! What is wonderful about it, you married tradition with innovation. I’m telling you, that was the perfect Halloween treat.”
Alexandra Burke was back on top form with her terrifyingly good tango. Dressed as zombies, Alexandra and her partner Gorka Marquez danced to ‘Maneater’.
Craig praised them: “You came out with all guns blazing. It did not stop until the end. I really and truly loved it.”
Whilst it was a great week from the likes of Joe McFadden, Gemma Atkinson and Mollie King, Susan Calman’s ‘Game of Thrones’-inspired Foxtrot to ‘Killer Queen’ failed to impress.
Darcey told her: “What happened was – your character was so strong. Just try and hold onto that and put more into your technical.”
However, it was Simon Rimmer’s American smooth to ‘Delilah’, which landed them bottom of the leaderboard.
Craig said: “It was so stiff, posture suffered, your hands were splayed. I didn’t enjoy it at all.”
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues on Sunday (29.10.17).
