Bruno Langley charged with assault two women on same night

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Langley has been charged with sexually assaulting two women on the same night.
The sacked ‘Coronation Street’ star is due to appear in court on November 28 after a woman in her 30s and another lady in her 20s complained that he had inappropriately touched them at a music venue on Swan Street, in the Northern Quarter, on October 1.
A spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service told Mirror Online: “The CPS authorised Greater Manchester Police on 29 October to charge Bruno Langley with two offences of sexual assault on a female on 1 October 2017.
“The charges relate to two complainants. He has been bailed to appear before Manchester City Magistrates Court on 28 November 2017.”
Following his arrest, Bruno, 34, announced that he’d quit the ITV soap as Todd Grimshaw and thanked the cast and crew for working with him over the past 17 years.
He said: “Sadly, I will no longer be working on ‘Coronation Street’.
“Acting on the show has been the fulfilment of a personal dream. Playing the role of Todd Grimshaw since I was 17 years old has been a huge part of my life, and an absolute honour. I would like to thank all of my friends who work on the show for their love, friendship and support during this extremely difficult period.”
Although bosses of the show have confirmed Bruno’s contract has been cancelled in the wake of the allegations, it’s believed he will appear as Todd on screen until Christmas because those scenes have already been filmed.
A source said recently: “Scenes featuring Bruno will continue to be screened until December 24. These were filmed before our inquiry started. Subsequent storylines beyond this point have been rewritten.”

Ruth Langsford doesn’t think she is improving on SCD

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Langsford never feels like she is “improving” on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 57-year-old TV presenter is taking part in the current series of the BBC ballroom and latin dance competition with her partner Anton Du Beke, but she recently admitted every Monday she feels like she is “back to a beginner” again.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (31.10.17), she said: “I love it but people keep saying to me: ‘Oh you are really improving.’ But I never feel I am because every Monday, like yesterday, I started my new dance paso doble and you’re just back to being a beginner every single Monday. And you know to be honest, most Saturdays I don’t 100 per cent know my dance on that floor. I really don’t.”
On Saturday, Debbie McGee topped the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ leaderboard with a chilling Charleston during the show’s Halloween week.
The 58-year-old star and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice wowed the judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli – with their impressive dance to Sister Sledge’s ‘Frankie’, receiving perfect 10s from three of the judges and a fantastic nine from Craig.
Shirley loved the performance so much that she offered Debbie her Queen of Latin crown.
She told her: “I’m going to give you my Queen of Latin crown. I loved everything. You were brilliant.”
Last weekend, TV presenter and chef Simon Rimmer and his professional partner Karen Clifton were booted out of the competition on Sunday night (29.10.17) after a spooktacular dance-off against Mollie King and AJ Pritchard.
Simon and Karen took to the floor once again to perform their Viennese Waltz to ‘Delilah’ but it failed to impress the judges and they opted to save Mollie King and AJ, who danced a Cha Cha to ‘Better The Devil You Know’.

Kem Cetinay joins Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Kem Cetinay is the third celebrity confirmed to be taking part in ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The ‘Love Island’ star may have made a name for himself stripping off and flashing his killer abs in the sun-soaked villa, but he’s decided to try his luck on the chilling skating rink when the reboot of the popular show returns to screens next year.
He said: “I still can’t believe I’m going to be on ‘Dancing on Ice’!
“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be strapping on a pair of skates and dancing in some Lycra. Anyone who knows me will know how competitive I am, so I’m going to work very hard to stay on my feet! I can’t wait to get my skates on.”
The 21-year-old hunk’s announcement comes just hours after Cheryl Baker was confirmed as the second celebrity joining the programme in 2018.
The Bucks Fizz singer jumped at the chance to sign up to the skating show but admitted she was having second thoughts following her first training session and is wondering if it’s “too late” to back out of the competition.
The 63-year-old star said: “Yes, I have started training. I just fell over a couple of times. I started training yesterday and it was such huge fun and I’ve never skated. When I was about 12 but they used to give you these things that you could put on your legs so yesterday was the first time. I wasn’t feeling nervous because I didn’t know what to expect but as of yesterday I thought it was hard and they were giving me things to do and movements and now go on one leg and I thought ‘I can’t do that!’ Is it too late to say no?”
Bosses of the skating show have kept details of the forthcoming series under wraps, but Brooke Vincent – who is known for playing Sophie Webster in ‘Coronation Street’ – announced yesterday (30.10.17) that she had also agreed to show off her skills on the rink.
It’s believed more celebrities will be announced in due course but, for now, it’s been confirmed that Jason Gardiner has reclaimed his position on the judging panel alongside Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – who previously mentored the contestants but have now switched positions – and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will return as hosts.

Phillip Schofield is Game of Thrones’ Night King for Halloween special

OHMYGOSSIP — Phillip Schofield made the make-up team behind ‘Game of Thrones’ spend four hours transforming him into the Night King for ‘This Morning’s Halloween special today.
The 55-year-old presenter was desperate to make this year’s eerie episode “bigger and better” than last year’s and, while his co-host Holly Willoughby opted for a relatively-easy ghostly unicorn, he made the producers go to extreme lengths to ensure that he could dress as the silent HBO series’ supreme leader this morning (31.10.17).
Speaking on show, he said: “I’m a massive fan of the show. The chance to do this was something I couldn’t possibly pass up. Because the Night King doesn’t speak, we all agreed that the first he spoke it wouldn’t be a brilliant idea if he spoke in my voice! So, I’m remaining totally in character. This has taken weeks in the planning. It’s the real deal. The whole team who put the Night King together for HBO and ‘Game of Thrones’, did it for me. This has taken a lot of work to put together. I can’t believe they said yes!”
But, while it took a lot of planning and preparation, Game of Thrones’ Prosthetic Make-up Designer Barrie Gower thoroughly enjoyed having Phillip on board.
He explained: “Phillip’s had two fittings beforehand, one for the prosthetics and one for the special hand-painted contact lenses. We had to re-cast the nose as Phillip’s nose is slightly smaller than the actor’s. We use medical glue and medical silicone rubber for the prosthetics. I believe, this is the first time a British celebrity has ever been made-up by the official team. It’s certainly the only time I’ve made someone into the Night King. So it’s a real honour. We’re glad Phillip loves the transformation!
“It takes us just as long, four hours, to get the actor on the show into the Night King make-up. It’s a lot of early starts on set! I joined ‘Game of Thrones’ since Season Four and we’re now on Season Eight. We do all the prosthetics for the whole show and start working months ahead of filming. On any given morning, I could be doing the Night King and some White Walkers and some stuntmen as Wights (zombies).”

Janet Street-Porter lied to get a divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Street-Porter has lied to get a divorce.
The 70-year-old journalist has been divorced four times and during a conversation about the long-winded process on ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (31.10.17), she admitted she has told a porky pie in past to speed up the official separation.
She said: “I think the current system encourages people to lie, and I have lied. I’ve been to court and I’ve made statements to get divorces that are lies because I want to get divorced and I cannot wait two years and I cannot see the point of it
“And I will not be. In the past I would not be deterred from getting divorced because I wanted that person out of my life.”
Janet first married Tim Street-Porter in 1967 but the couple separated in 1975.
She then went on to tie the knot with Tony Elliott but their relationship only lasted two years before she filed for divorce.
She then married Frank Cvitanovich but, once again, they only stayed together for two years before they split up in 1981.
Her fourth husband was David Sorkin but they were only together two years until 1999.
Today’s episode was a Halloween special and Janet had no qualms dressing up as Wonder Woman because she thoroughly enjoys putting on fancy dress.
She said: “The hair – it’s two wigs. One on top of the other. It’s the only costume I’m happy in. I like wearing fancy dress, as long as I look really good in the fancy dress.”

Prue Leith accidentally announces who wins Great British Bake Off

OHMYGOSSIP — Prue Leith has accidentally announced who wins this year’s ‘Great British Bake Off’.
The show judge – who was called in as Mary Berry’s replacement alongside silver fox Paul Hollywood after the baking series shifted to Channel 4 earlier this year – has been left red-faced after she revealed who walked away as the champion in a pre-scheduled tweet, which has since been deleted, ahead of the series finale tonight (31.10.17).
Despite the blunder, the 77-year-old restaurateur has confirmed she’s been asked to reclaim her judging position on next year’s series alongside Paul, 51, while Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig have decided to reprise their hosting duties.
Alongside a link leading to contestant application forms for the next series, Prue said this morning: “It’s the #GBBO final! Who will win? Thrilled to say Paul, Noel Sandi & I will all be back! Do you want to join us? (sic)”
Although she’s confirmed she will be returning in 2018, Prue’s future was uncertain earlier this month as she admitted Channel 4 were yet to give her a new contract.
She said: “I’m still hoping Channel 4 will ask me back for the second series. They’ve asked me about timings and schedules but I’ve not seen or heard anything about a contract. It could all change, like ‘The X Factor’.”
But, until she gets back in the tent, Prue has decided to throw herself back into writing.
She added: “I actually gave up writing before ‘Great British Bake Off’. I’d been doing it [writing cookbooks and novels] for years and it took up too much time. But I’ve been coaxed back into it and now I’m writing and cooking more than ever. It’s a busy time.”

Cold Feet to return next year

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Cold Feet’ will return for a new series next year.
The popular show returned to ITV in 2016 after a 13-year absence, and it’s proved such a hit with viewers since the reboot that bosses have decided to commission it for another instalment next year after the last series, which concluded two weeks ago, saw Adam Williams (James Nesbitt) split from his girlfriend Tina Reynolds (Leanne Best) after admitting he’d had an affair with his colleague Sarah Poynter (Amy Huberman).
Senior Drama Commissioner Victoria Fea said: “The nation’s love affair with ‘Cold Feet’ continues, and we’re thrilled to announce a new series for 2018.”
The new six-part series will go into production next spring in Manchester and it’s been confirmed that the main cast James, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst, Fay Ripley and John Thomson – who plays Karen Marsden, David Marsden, Jenny Gifford and Pete Gifford respectively – will be returning to continue their story.
The show’s writer Mike Bullen explained: “I’m delighted that viewers still feel invested in the lives and loves of our imperfect heroes.
“And I’m excited that we’re being given the opportunity to tell the next chapter of their stories. We’ve got plenty of trials and tribulations in store for them as they navigate their way through middle age, and more than a few laughs and tears along the way.”
The script for the new series has already been written and Big Talk Production – who are producing – have teased that the new instalment is not one to be missed.
Executive Producer and CEO of Big Talk Productions Kenton Allen said: “It was a real privilege for Big Talk to be entrusted with the revival of ‘Cold Feet’, a show we were all huge fans and admirers of. So we are absolutely thrilled to be making a third series of this iconic show, following the amazing reaction to the last series. Mike has just delivered the first script of the new series and…all will be revealed in 2018.”

Ed Sheeran to perform on Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran is set to perform on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘Perfect’ hitmaker has postponed his tour after he was involved in a bicycle accident earlier this month, which left him with a broken elbow, a bust right wrist and damaged ribs, but, despite having both his arms strapped up to the point he can’t even brush his teeth by himself, he’s agreed to sing during the final of the ITV show on December 2 before closing the ballroom and latin competition two weeks later
A source told The Sun newspaper: “No one has ever played both finals in the same year but neither show wanted to miss out on nabbing the year’s biggest-selling singer. “‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will be keeping a close eye on what Ed brings to ‘X Factor’ and are promising his stint on their finale will be even bigger and better. Both are just praying he makes a full recovery in time.”
The 26-year-old singer has made no secret of the fact he’s a fan of both shows – despite them being rivals – as he penned the winner’s song ‘When Christmas Comes Around’, which reached Number 3 in the charts, for ‘X Factor’ champion Matt Terry last year.
He’s also desperate to slip into some sexy crystal-embellished Lycra in the near future and show people his fancy footwork and snake hips on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Meanwhile, the flame-haired hunk announced that he’d axed his shows in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong upon doctors’ orders after they said he might never play the guitar again if he “put any more stress on it”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis has released an intimate video of her in labour with her son Caben.

The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star also posted a picture of her in tears as Caben nestled into her chest, a photo of him breastfeeding and one of him now in his buggy.
Stephanie split from Caben’s father Jeremy McConnell, 28, before she found out she was pregnant, but he refused to believe she was carrying a baby until he was born.
A few weeks after his birth, the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ hunk requested a paternity test to prove that he was Caben’s biological father and, once he got the result he wanted, he and Stephanie decided to give their relationship another go for their son’s sake.
But their romance came crashing down again a few months later when Jeremy was charged with battering the wannabe pop star at her home in Liverpool and he was subsequently dished out a three-year restraining order and community service.

Liam Payne explains his bizarre X Factor exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne has blamed his bizarre exit from ‘The X Factor’ on Saturday (29.10.17) on the show’s producers.
The 24-year-old singer shocked fans following his own on-stage performance after he made his way into the crowd, collected his girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy and made a swift exit from the studio during the live show – but Liam has now claimed he was simply following orders.
Speaking to Mirror Online, Liam explained: “Producers told me to go this way and it looked like I was going out the front, bossed off the stage and took my missus and buggered off.
“But that’s what I got told to do and I got so much stick for it. It was hilarious, storming off the stage and taking my missus.”
The bizarre incident on the ITV show came shortly after Liam claimed that he and Cheryl communicate with one another telepathically.
The singer – who has been dating the ‘Call My Name’ hitmaker for just under two years – is convinced he can read his girlfriend’s mind because he gets a gut feeling when she wants him to get up and feed their seven-month-old son Bear in the middle of the night.
Liam said: “He sleeps in our room now, I can feel when Cheryl wants me to look after him in the night even if she doesn’t say it.”
The One Direction star also revealed he’s having to get up more times in the night than usual at the moment, because his little boy has started teething and lies awake whimpering in pain.
Liam shared: “He’s teething at the moment so there is a little bit more crying than usual.”

Cheryl Baker joins Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Baker is the second celebrity confirmed to be taking part in ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The Bucks Fizz singer jumped at the chance to sign up to the skating show reboot but has admitted she’s now having second thoughts following her first training session yesterday and is wondering if it’s “too late” to back out of the competition.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Tuesday (31.10.17), the 63-year-old star said: “Yes, I have started training. I just fell over a couple of times. I started training yesterday and it was such huge fun and I’ve never skated. When I was about 12 but they used to give you these things that you could put on your legs so yesterday was the first time.
“I wasn’t feeling nervous because I didn’t know what to expect but as of yesterday I thought it was hard and they were giving me things to do and movements and now go on one leg and I thought ‘I can’t do that!’ Is it too late to say no?”
Cheryl is adamant her age won’t stop her from progressing in the competition and she can’t wait to meet her professional trainer nearer to the show launch.
She said: “The girl who was training me yesterday – she was 20 because I haven’t met my proper trainer yet – she said: ‘I teach a couple of women in their 60s.’ ”
Bosses of the skating show have kept details of the forthcoming series under wraps but Brooke Vincent – who is known for playing Sophie Webster in ‘Coronation Street’ – announced yesterday that she had also agreed to show off her skills on the rink.

Liam Gallagher for Celebrity Gogglebox

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has signed up for ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’.
The 45-year-old singer will be joined by his mother Peggy and 16-year-old son Gene on the Stand Up To Cancer special edition of the programme – in which stars give their opinions on TV shows while watching them on their living room sofas – and he was “honoured” to be invited on the show.
He said: “It’s an honour and privilege to be invited on one of my favourite TV shows, the mighty ‘Gogglebox’ especially with my fam and for such a great cause as Stand up To Cancer.”
The ‘Some Might Say’ hitmaker will follow in the footsteps of his brother Noel Gallagher, who appeared on the charity special alongside supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell in 2013.
Liam appeared to poke fun at his sibling’s appearance on the programme alongside the fashion stars, tweeting he was “asked to do something for charity with my fam not supermodels and squares”.
While the former Oasis frontman is now forging a career as a solo singer, he has also become known for his outspoken views on Twitter.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: “Liam is one of the most opinionated celebrities ever.
“To get him talking about current shows will be TV gold. If he’s half as ruthless as he is on Twitter, viewers will be in for a treat.”
Other stars who will feature in this Friday’s (03.11.17) charity ‘Gogglebox’ special include Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, retired sports stars Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff, and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
They will follow the likes of singers Niall Horan, Olly Murs, and Geri Horner, who have all previously featured on the celeb version of the show.
The main series of ‘Gogglebox’ – which began in March 2013 and has lasted for 10 seasons so far – has also spawned some celebs of its own, including Scarlett Moffatt, who went on to win last year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.

Adam Driver felt sick watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Driver felt “sick” to his stomach when he watched ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.
The 33-year-old actor – who portrays villain Ben Solo/Kylo Ren in the popular sci-fi franchise – has admitted he feared he was going to “puke” when he watched his character kill off his father Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in the 2015 movie, because he didn’t know how fans would react to the murder.
Speaking to GQ Magazine, Driver said: “When I watched the premiere, I felt sick to my stomach… Immediately, I thought I was going to puke.
“I was holding my wife [Joanne Tucker]’s hand, and she’s like, ‘You’re really cold. Are you OK?’
“Because I just knew what was coming – I kill Harrison Ford – and I didn’t know how this audience of 2,000 people was going to respond to it, you know?”
Driver is set to reprise his role as Kylo Ren in ‘The Last Jedi’ this year alongside Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Oscar Isaac (Poe), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Andy Serkis (Snoke), Domhnall Gleeson (General Lux) and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia.
The film marks the last outing for Fisher, who tragically died in December last year, and Driver has admitted the movie legend advised him to be “down to earth” before the release of ‘The Force Awakens’ to gain more supporters.
He said: “The whole cast was downstairs in a conference room, talking through what’s supposed to happen at this big event.
“She was like, ‘Just pretend you’re down to earth. People love that s**t.’
“So now I pretend I’m down to earth and you know what? People really do love that s**t. They eat it up.”
‘The Last Jedi’ is slated for release this December.

Jason Momoa auditioned for Batman

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Momoa originally auditioned to play Batman in the DC Extended Universe movie franchise.
The 38-year-old actor first appeared as Aquaman in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ last year, but the dark-haired hunk has revealed he had initially had his sights set on playing the caped crusader rather than the King of Atlantis.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Momoa – who has recently wrapped up filming for his own spin off ‘Aquaman’ – said: “When [director] Zack [Snyder] first approached me, it was a bit of a mystery because when I went in for the audition, he wanted me to read for Batman – and Ben [Affleck] had already been cast in the role by that point.
“So, I knew something fishy was going on and just read the lines with a lot of attitude, like I didn’t care what was on the page.
“And then Zack said to me ‘Do you know who I want you to play?’ I said ‘Oh yeah, I’ll be a villain or some bad dude who comes in and fights Batman – sounds like fun’.
“And he said ‘I want you to play Aquaman’.”
Momoa will be reprising his role as Arthur Curry/Aquaman in ‘Justice League’ this month, alongside Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Henry Cavill as Superman.
And the Hawaii-born hunk is honoured he has been handpicked to star in the movie, and he has recently taken to social media to thank the 51-year-old filmmaker for casting him in the production.
Speaking previously, he said: “SO many beautiful MEMORIES it’s been awesome going through my phone.
“I wish I could show more Mahalo to my team you know who u are I will take you with me in my heart always.
“Mahalo to Australia for being so amazing to me and for respecting my OHANA I am going to miss so many.
“It’s been a wild ride this last 7 months All my aloha j. JUSTICE LEAGUE TOUR. Here we go. Can’t wait for the world to see it. Mahalo zack for picking me. Love u (sic)”

Sir Kenneth Branagh praises Dame Judi Dench

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Kenneth Branagh said Dame Judi Dench was a “critical component” for ‘Murder on the Orient Express’.
The 56-year-old actor both starred and directed the new Agatha Christie remake, which sees him portray detective Hercule Poirot in the upcoming movie, and the movie icon has admitted the 82-year-old actress was the first person he cast in the film, before Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penelope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad and Derek Jacobi.
Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, Branagh said: “They are a lovely group. A really critical component was Judi Dench, who was the first person I cast.
“I asked if she would do it and I hadn’t finished the question when she said yes.
“Judi is a talismanic figure. Derek and Judi know each other from a thousand years ago. Johnny has worked with Judi and he worships her.
“She has trouble seeing, but she never complains.”
The film follows a group of passengers on board a train travelling through Europe, who try to uncover who is the villain when a fellow traveller is murdered.
Although the story is well-known and has been made into a movie back in 1974, which saw Albert Finney portray Poirot, Branagh believes his version his different to any other production because he has “added some pieces” in order to make it unique.
He said: “It’s still on a train and you still have many of the same characters, but we have added some pieces.
“Our inspiration comes from the novel but we have also raided some of the other Poirot books.
“I’ll say this, there’s mystery, but there is rage, loss, and grief underneath it all. Everyone has a story.
“We created as much paranoia and suspicion as we could. As for the end of the movie, the who and the how and the why become really important. The why gives us great suspense.
“We’ve had the chance to be inventive and imaginative about how the story goes, so there are some surprises.”
And Branagh would “love” to make more films based around Christie’s books.
He said: “I would love to make more films from Christie’s books, although I’m sure we’re not going to make 37 of them, which is how many we have to choose from.”

John Carpenter never wanted a Halloween sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — John Carpenter never wanted there to be a sequel to his iconic slasher film ‘Halloween’.
The 69-year-old horror legend helmed and scored the 1978 original and is officially serving as an executive producer on the upcoming new movie from director David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the script with ‘Eastbound & Down’ star Danny McBride.
Although the iconic movie will have spawned eight sequels when the new story is out, and two remakes based on the murderous actions of psychotic killer Michael Myers, Carpenter had envisaged his first film as a standalone story.
Speaking to ‘CBS Sunday Morning’, Carpenter said: “[I] never wanted to make a sequel to the original ‘Halloween’. There was no story left to say, boy I was wrong!”
The original movie began with scenes showing six-year-old Michael Myers murder his 17-year-old sister and, after being locked away in a high security mental institute for 15 years, escaped and returned to his hometown to find his next victims, targeting babysitters on Halloween evening.
But the white-masked killer meets his match in babysitter Laurie Strode – portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis.
In September, Curtis revealed she will be reprising her role for one final battle with Myers.
The 58-year-old actress is coming back to the movie series, which kicked off her big screen career back in 1978, making her Hollywood’s horror “scream queen”.
Curtis has reprised her famous role three times since Carpenter’s original, in 1981’s ‘Halloween II’, 1998’s ‘Halloween H20: 20 Years Later’ and 2002’s ‘Halloween: Resurrection’ but the new film from Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures is being billed as the “final” Halloween.
McBride has previously stated that he wants his movie to act like a direct sequel to the first two films and he is going to be faithful to Carpenter’s original idea for Myers.
Carpenter also confirmed the new movie will pretend “the other sequels never happened”.
When asked what he could say about the upcoming movie, Carpenter said: “It’s pretending the other sequels never happened.”
