Daisy Ridley had doubts she could star in Murder on the Orient Express

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley didn’t think she was good enough to get a part in ‘Murder on the Orient Express’.
The 25-year-old actress stars as Mary Debenham in the new movie adaptation of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery novel of the same name, but Ridley admitted she didn’t ever think she would land the role because she wasn’t sure she had the experience or talent for her role.
Speaking at the world premiere of the movie at The Royal Albert Hall, in London on Thursday (02.11.17), Ridley said: “It was amazing and what was more amazing was that everyone was absolutely lovely. I did feel really part of something. There were points I was like, ‘There’s no way I was going to get this job, I’m not good enough yardy yardy ya.’
“And then when you get to a point where everyone’s made you feel so welcome it’s just unbeatable.”
Ridley stars in the new movie which sees Belgian detective Hercule Poirot – played by Sir Kenneth Branagh who also directed the film – who interrogates passengers on the European lavish train trip after one traveller is stabbed to death.
The movie features an all-star cast which includes Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe, Michelle Pfeiffer, Derek Jacobi, Penelope Cruz and Josh Gad.
During the premiere, Dench, 87, revealed the shoot felt she like she was working in a “theatre company” due to the fantastic ensemble of acting talent.
Dench said: “It was like a theatre company. A lot of us knew each other. We have worked together before. Then you get Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Josh Gad and Willem Dafoe, really lovely, proper actors.”

Laurence Fishburne’s secret Marvel project

OHMYGOSSIP — Laurence Fishburne is working on something top secret with Marvel.
The 56-year-old actor will be seen as Bill Foster in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ – the sequel to the Paul Rudd-led Marvel Cinematic Universe movie ‘Ant-Man’ – and now Fishburne teased he is working of something new with the studio and said it’s “gonna be really cool”.
Speaking to Collider, Fishburne said: “I’m developing something else for Marvel that I can’t talk about. It’s gonna be really cool. It’s gonna change the world, we hope. I went to Marvel and pitched them something that really couldn’t work out – there was a lot of legal red tape that just [was] something they couldn’t work out. But then they came back with the offer for ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ and then they said, ‘Hey, what do you think of this?’ And I went, ‘Oh yeah that, yes!’ So…”
Fishburne will join Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Pym/The Wasp and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym in the upcoming action adventure and admitted he has always wanted to be part of the MCU – despite starring as Daily Planet newspaper editor Perry White in DC’s ‘Man of Steel’ and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
He said: “I got the offer to do Perry White in ‘Man of Steel’, I said yes to that. Obviously ‘Batman v Superman’ I said yes to that. I was unable to be involved in the ‘Justice League’ movie, scheduling-wise it just wasn’t going to work out, but I had wanted very much to be part of the Marvel universe at the same time.
“So I went to them and pitched them a couple of ideas and basically said, ‘Look, if there’s anything I can do that makes sense for me to do in the Marvel Universe, I would love to be involved. So they came to me with an offer to be Bill Foster in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’.”
“All I can tell you is I’m playing Bill Foster, who was Hank Pym’s assistant. That’s how I enter into the world and I’m very excited.
“Peyton Reed is directing it, who directed the first one. It’s gonna be as fun and cool and smart as the first one.”

Michelle Pfeiffer cried when she met Dame Judi Dench

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Pfeiffer burst into tears when she met Dame Judi Dench on the set of ‘Murder on the Orient Express’.
The 59-year-old actress is currently starring alongside the iconic actress in Sir Kenneth Branagh’s re-imagining of Agatha Christie’s whodunit novel set in the 1930s and Pfeiffer, 59, admitted she was “completely star-struck” meeting screen legend Dench, 82.
Speaking at the world premiere of the new movie at The Royal Albert Hall in London on Thursday (02.11.17), Pfeiffer said: “When I met her, I just cried … I had tears coming down my face. I was just completely star-struck and moved by meeting her.”
Pfeiffer – whose filmography includes acclaimed roles in movies such as ‘Scarface’, ‘Batman Returns’ and ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ – said it took a lot of effort to act in front of Dench who is considered a master at period piece dramas.
She said: “It just takes jumping into the deep end, but it’s hard to trust that in the beginning. And so I was at that stage and I’m acting in front of Judi Dench, and I’m thinking OK, you cannot bomb in front of Judi Dench. This just can’t happen.”
‘Murder on the Orient Express’ follows Belgian detective Hercule Poirot who finds himself wrapped in a murder mystery after a passenger is murdered during the lavish trip through Europe.
The film sees Branagh take on the helm of the iconic detective and features a stellar cast which includes Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Olivia Colman, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad and Willem Dafoe.
Although the story is well-known and has been made into a movie back in 1974, which saw Albert Finney portray Poirot, Branagh believes his version his different to any other production because he has “added some pieces” in order to make it unique.
And Branagh would “love” to make more films based around Christie’s books.
He said: “I would love to make more films from Christie’s books, although I’m sure we’re not going to make 37 of them, which is how many we have to choose from.”

Grace Fulton in talks to join Shazam! movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Grace Fulton is in talks to star in the ‘Shazam!’ DC Extended Universe movie.
The 21-year-old actress recently starred in the paranormal horror ‘Annabelle: Creation’ and is now reportedly in talks to join Zachary Levi in the new superhero film.
The hero was created by C.C. Beck and writer Bill Parker back in 1939 and first appeared in Whiz Comics #2 a year later.
‘Shazam!’ follows Billy Batson, a boy who can transform into an adult superhero by uttering the magic word “Shazam”.
The name is an acronym of the ancient world gods and historical figures: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury.
Fulton will play one of Batson’s teenager friends and The Wrap also reported ‘The Kingsman’ star Mark Strong, 54, is in negotiations to star as the villain.
On Monday (30.10.17), Levi, 34, took to Instagram following the casting announcement and wrote: “Honored and greatly humbled to be a part of the #dcuniverse by bringing the original Captain Marvel to life.
“I am beside myself with gratitude, not only for this opportunity but also the incredible outpouring of love and support from so many of you out there in the world. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be in the gym for the rest of forever. (amazingly cool art courtesy of @bosslogic) #Shazam (sic)”
Captain Marvel’s arch nemesis is the supervillain Black Adam, who will be played by Dwayne Johnson in a separate film which will build to a big screen adventure in which they will both clash.
Recently, Johnson, 45, confirmed he was offered the opportunity to play both DC Comics characters, but decided to take on Black Adam because there’s more depth to his backstory.

Johnny Depp ‘staggered’ by beauty of Murder on the Orient Express

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Depp was “staggered” by the beauty of thriller ‘Murder on the Orient Express’.
The 54-year-old actor stars as Edward Ratchett in the new Sir Kenneth Branagh adaptation of the popular Agatha Christie whodunit novel of the same name, and Depp was so impressed with the British filmmaker that he would work with him again in a heartbeat.
Speaking at the world premiere of the movie at The Royal Albert Hall, in London, on Thursday (02.11.17), Depp said: “I was staggered by the beauty of the film. Just seeing every piece of the puzzle come together in the beautiful way that Kenneth constructed the film. He’s a force to be reckoned with, a genius. I’d film anything he wanted to film with me.”
‘Murder on the Orient Express’ follows Belgian detective Hercule Poirot who finds himself wrapped in a murder mystery after a passenger is murdered during the lavish trip through Europe.
The film sees Branagh portray Poirot and features an all-star cast including Dame Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad, Penelope Cruz and Willem Dafoe.
Although the film has a number of Hollywood greats, Depp admitted Dench was his favourite co-star to work with.
He gushed: “Judi Dench is my one true love. She levitates.”
Depp’s co-star and ‘Frozen’ actor Gad, 36, admitted the whole cast bonded together and was a “love fest”.
He said: “When you first get there you are concerned about how all those personalities are going to mesh but it was love fest.
“Every day when we were done shooting we would all go and get drinks or something. There was this incredible game Penelope Cruz introduced us to called Werewolf, where you all sit around as a group and two people are, without knowing it, werewolves – and you have to determine who they are.
“Penelope and Javier Bardem [husband] have been playing this game for years. We played it the whole time.”

Natalie Portman to produce and star in Foxy Trotter

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman will star in and produce ‘Foxy Trotter’.
The 36-year-old actress will be both in front of and behind of the camera in the forthcoming animated film, which will tell the story of the titular rock ‘n’ roll photographer who is aiming to capture the perfect photo.
Producer Michel Litvak said: “We are thrilled to launch this inventive, sexy, psychedelic, hilarious, female-oriented animated film with such a glowingly talented star and producer like Natalie Portman.”
Portman will play Ronnie, Foxy’s best friend who is seduced by rival Gunter and offered up as a sacrifice as part of his plan to destroy the world.
Chris Pryonski will direct the motion picture, from a script by Jess Rotter, Michael Reich, Jessica Hundley and Mike Pinkney.
Lisa Zambri and Jessica Hundley will executive produce the project, while Portman, Litvak, Chris and Shannon Prynoski, Gary Michael Walters, and Ben Kalina are among the producers.
Prynoski added to Variety: “‘Foxy Trotter’ is a wild mix of ‘Barbarella’ meets ‘Sausage Party’ meets ‘Easy Rider’.”
Next year looks set to be a busy one for Portman as she was recently said to be in early negotiations to portray an aspiring bull rider in ‘Bronco Belle’, which will be directed by Anna Rose Holmer.
Khurram Longi has written the script about a waitress who dreams of joining the rodeo, while Andrew Lazar will produce.
Portman’s latest movie was romantic drama film ‘Song to Song’, which was released in March and saw her star alongside Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, and Michael Fassbender.

Kenneth Branagh’s intense film preparation

OHMYGOSSIP — Kenneth Branagh had to stab dead animals to get into character for ‘Murder on the Orient Express’.
The 56-year-old actor, who portrays Detective Hercule Poirot in the mystery film, has admitted to get into character he had to plunge a knife into the organs of deceased creatures to help him understand murder is not a game but a “mechanical act”.
Speaking about his preparation for the role, the ‘Hamlet’ star said: “One of the things I did early on was get a knife – this was all under instruction from a safety expert – and plunge it into the organs of some animals. They were dead. In order to go into the idea of steel in flesh being a really difficult thing to do. The idea of murder not being a game but involving a horrible mechanical act.
“If you’re a stranger to it, the act of killing is a weird one. I kept trying to shake myself out of any sense this was a board game or drawing room mystery. Instead, this was about a dark dirty act that you need to know the reality of.
“What it’s like to lose people and what grief does to people. It can turn them very powerfully in terms of an emotional reaction. All of that was to set up a danger and volatility on this train that was a million miles away from heritage, biscuit tin, pantomimic, drawing room mystery.
“Directors and detectives, in as much as they have any connection, both seek truth. They look into the eyes of people they’re interviewing and want to understand whether they can believe them.”
Branagh also worked closely with a dialect coach and learned French to help him achieve an authentic accent.
He explained: “I don’t speak other languages so learning to speak in a French accent meant trying to learn to speak French to begin with, then how to speak French with a Walloonian accent, then with a Walloonian accent of a man born in Spa, who lives in London. All of that was quite specific. Otherwise you could be generic and sound like Inspector Clueso. He’s not that. Everything about it had to have as much detail as possible.”
The movie legend believes “90 per cent” of a film’s success in the casting, and he believes as soon as Dame Judi Dench confirmed her role in the movie it was a “magnet” for other stars to agree to be cast in the production.
He told the New Zealand Herald Online: “We literally started with Judi Dench who seemed to me great casting for Princess Dragomiroff, she’s great casting for anything. I knew she would enjoy this imperious superior character because it’s very far away from who she is and she likes to play surprises.
“Judi became a magnet for the other people. People like Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer were completely in love with Judi and when they came on board that was a domino effect.
“Ninety per cent of the success of a film like this is the casting because aside from the big landscape, which we try to exploit, the other forensic landscape in a 70mm version of a crime procedural is the human face. So you want people who can be there, hold the screen, hold your attention. Whom you are interested to watch think.”

John Barrowman was asked for a selfie just before surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman was pestered for a selfie just before he was wheeled into surgery.
The 50-year-old singer was forced to have an emergency operation to remove his appendix after he developed appendicitis, but his hospital stay wasn’t overly private as he was hounded by a fan while his nurse was securing his catheter.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (03.11.17), John said: “I got to the hospital and they said I gotta go into surgery.
“When I got to go to surgery, they put me on the table for the surgery. Anyway, as I’m about to go under and they are putting a catheter in me, this guy said I love your work, can I have a selfie when you come out of surgery?
“I’m lying there, like really? I thought it was funny.”
John also admitted he thought he would never make it out of the surgery and said when he woke up he told the nurse he saw his grandmother.
He said: “All I could think of was I wasn’t going to come out of surgery. I was by myself, I didn’t get to see my husband Scott [Gill], I didn’t get to see my mum and dad, I didn’t get to see my sister.
“I was rushing in and I was thinking I’m not going to come out of this, I had to sign papers that said resuscitate and all sorts of stuff.
“Apparently when I came out of the anaesthetic, the nurse said I burst into tears and I said I could see my grandmother.”
John began to fall unwell while writing a new book with his sister at his home in Palm Springs, California, and he has recalled how his sibling started to panic because she has never seen him sick or in that kind of state before.
John said she found him vomiting in the sink and then he collapsed to the floor.
He said: “So when she came into bedroom and I was vomiting in the sink I collapsed on the floor. I couldn’t move and just said to her ‘get me to the hospital and she literally got in the car and drove me to the doctors because I wanted to see my own doctor first. She was driving and I told her to go faster and she said she was already going 80 and couldn’t go any faster.”

Donna Air’s female relatives can’t wait to see Kem Cetinay on Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Donna Air’s female relatives are more excited about seeing ‘Love Island’ hunk Kem Cetinay doing ‘Dancing on Ice’ than they are about her showing off her moves in the rink.
The 38-year-old TV star has just been confirmed as the latest celebrity to take part in the forthcoming series of the skating show, but she has admitted her family were actually more ecstatic about the fact she’ll be working alongside the 21-year-old heartthrob.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (03.11.17), she said: “All the girls in my house think it’s really cool because Love Island’s Kem Cetinay’s on it. They’re much more excited about him than they are about me doing the show. They’ll be supporting him.”
And the blonde beauty’s 14-year-old daughter Freya, whom she has with her ex Damian Aspinall, cringed when she was told her mum would be taking to the ice next year.
She added: “My daughter is like oh no you’re going to be so embarrassing so we’ll see.”
The reboot will kick off at the beginning of January, but Donna has admitted she has to do at least 30 hours of training before she’s allowed to start working with her professional partner, who she has met and has admitted is “gorgeous” and “an amazing skater.”
She said: “It starts the beginning of January – like the 4th or 5th I think.
“But we’ve got to do 30 hours of training before we get to work with our partner. I’ve met my partner, he’s gorgeous and he’s great – an amazing skater! I’m just trying to stand on one leg at the moment.”
And when asked whether James Middleton – who she was rumoured to have split from last month – would be watching the live show, Donna said: “I’m sure James would love to come and see me wobbly on the ice. I think he’ll just wait to see how I feel nearer the time – how nervous I am. Sometimes if you’re really nervous, you can’t get the job done.”

Stacey Solomon has phobia of death

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon is scared of dying.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist broke down in tears during today’s (03.11.17) show as she revealed she’s been battling with the crippling phobia since she gave birth to her first child Zachary, nine, at the age of 19 but she has admitted she feels “guilty” talking about her fear because there are some people out there who are fighting for their lives.
She said: “It does make me uncomfortable to be talking about it.”
Before she added: “I think it probably started when I had my first child. I was 19. I think the trauma of giving birth made me feel vulnerable and I wasn’t invincible.
“Giving birth made me feel like I could die any minute. I felt very fragile and that anything could happen to me and I wasn’t in control of my life.”
The 28-year-old former singer spent most of the morning with hypnotist Paul McKenna as he tried to get to the bottom of her fear and what sparked the phobia.
Speaking to the panel, he said: “I’ve been working with Stacey all day. This isn’t just a phobia, it’s a new hybrid. It’s a phobia but it’s mixed in with an obsessive compulsive disorder. We’re all compulsive about some things. Some compulsions are good compulsions, but Stacey’s compulsiveness has overlapped with her health and she now spends a long time worrying about her health and catastrophising.”
The 53-year-old behavioural scientist then worked out that if Stacey spends 20 minutes a day worrying about death for the rest of her life, she’d spend 80,000 hours anxious.
He then went through some exercises with Stacey – who also has five-year-old son Leighton – to help her deal with her crippling phobia.

Jamie Lomas quits Hollyoaks

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lomas has quit ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 42-year-old actor has confirmed that his alter-ego Warren Fox will leave the village of Chester in a dramatic storyline twist next week but, although it’s not yet known whether the evil bad boy will finally get his comeuppance, he has accidentally let slip that his departure won’t end in a death as there’s a chance he could reprise the role.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Friday (03.11.17), he said: “It’s Warren’s finally week next week and there’s so many twists and turns in these episodes. He’s such a fun character to play – playing baddies are the best characters to play on TV. I’ve been very fortunate that Bryan Kirkwood [the show’s executive producer] is a huge friend of mine – an amazing person as well. Creating Warren, ‘Hollyoaks’ have done such an amazing job and I’m eternally grateful for giving me that opportunity.
“I’m just going to try other things and I like to go in and then have a little time there and then go out. Who knows? Maybe I’ll go back in time and who knows? I think I’ve just given you that [he’s not going to be killed off].”
Although Jamie hasn’t divulge what will cause Warren’s departure, he has admitted that a lot of the storyline will involve Sienna Blake – who is the mother of his unborn twins – as he’s been holding her hostage and she’s set to go into labour – but she needs help.
He explained: “She has to have a C-section for the baby to come out but he doesn’t believe a word she says because she’s a bit of a liar.
“There’s so much in love with each other but they just can’t be together but when she’s due to have the twins, is he going to take her to hospital? Isn’t he?”

Piers Morgan almost turned down Good Morning Britain

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan told the ‘Good Morning Britain’ bosses he’d “rather shoot himself” than host the breakfast show.
The 52-year-old presenter may take credit for the success of the TV show seeing as it now regularly peaks with one million viewers, but he has admitted he almost didn’t take the job when he was asked to fill in for a brief week in 2015 because it “never appealed” to him and he was concerned the early morning starts would be “brutal.”
He explained: “I never appealed to me. I thought the hours would be completely brutal. And they are. Helen Warner, who was running daytime rang and said: ‘Would you consider a week?’ I said: ‘I’d rather shoot myself,’ which would have been ironic, given my gun stance. But then I thought about it, said: ‘What could go wrong for a week?’
“Within an hour, we had to issue a first apology for my behaviour, which led to an Ofcom ruling. We had a French guy … and he kept saying something that sounded like the F word, only we thought it was a French word – but it wasn’t. And I kept laughing. Susanna Reid [his co-host] thought I was absolutely horrific. This beast comes in, cracking terrible jokes… She was very much queen bee on breakfast TV for a long time, I was very alpha male and you’re putting an alpha male and a queen bee near each other… Let the entertainment begin.”
Piers’ week of filling in turned into a three-day-a-week commitment and, although he gets paid “what he’s worth”, he doesn’t know whether he gets more than his co-host Susanna – but he thinks she would agree he deserves it.
Speaking to ES magazine, he said: “I have no idea what she’s paid. I don’t think it would matter to her, even if she found out that I was being paid more, because she, I think, would be the first to accept that I’ve slightly redone the wheel here. I bring a completely different kind of feel. I think she’s brilliant, worth every penny ITV gives her…”

Gemma Collins signs up to Celebs Go Dating

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins has reportedly signed up to ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star was left heartbroken earlier this week when her ex-boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent rejected her advances once again on national television, but she’s not letting it dampen her confidence as she’s hoping the dating show, which sees relationship gurus set stars up with the general public, will bag her a man.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Gemma can’t wait to start filming – she’s completely putting herself in the dating experts’ hands as she’s determined to find true love on the show. She’s not going to mess around – she knows they’re the top people who can find her a man and she’s going to take all their advice.”
However, the 36-year-old blonde may land herself in hot water as she’s reportedly got a crush on the show’s relationship expert Eden Blackman, who is in a relationship.
The source added: “The only problem is, she really fancies the dating expert Eden Blackman!”
But she’s not the only member of the ‘TOWIE’ cast in the pipeline as her co-star Pete Wicks, who recently split from Megan McKenna, has also been attending meetings with producers.
A source said recently: “A week after his split with Megan went public, Pete was approached about appearing on ‘Celebs Go Dating’. He met with the casting agent and is seriously considering it. Being on ‘TOWIE’ is great, but he’d like to show more of his fun side on TV and ‘Celebs Go Dating’ would be perfect for that.
“The show would love to sign Pete up – he’s handsome, has loads of fans and it would be no problem to find girls to set up with him for dates.”
There’s also a possibility that Lauren Goodger – who previously dated Mark Wright for 10 years – will join the forthcoming series following her split from her jailbird beau Joey Morrison.

Geri Halliwell joins All Together Now

OHMYGOSSIP — Geri Halliwell has joined the BBC’s new singing show ‘All Together Now’.
The former Spice Girls singer will head The 100 – a unique panel of musical experts and performers from all over the UK – for the channel’s forthcoming contest, hosted by Rob Beckett, in which a range of aspiring pop stars take to stage to perform in front of the panel in a bid to rack up a huge score and potentially launch a music career.
Geri said of her new gig: “I’m so excited to be part of this show. It’s about celebrating talent, uniting people from all walks of life, feeling good AND singing! It’s a whole lot of joy standing up together on a Saturday night.”
The contestants will belt out the lyrics to some of their favourite songs, and if any of The 100 like what they hear, they can stand up and join in – and the greater the number that get up from their seats and sing along, the higher the contestant’s score.
Rob added: “If like me you’re the sort of person who likes to belt out a tune in the shower then I’m pretty sure this is the show for you… but if you’re the sort of person who likes to belt out a tune in the shower while another hundred people join in…then firstly, how big’s your bathroom? And secondly this is definitely the show for you!”
It’s not yet known what other musicians will be joining the 45-year-old beauty on the panel when the six-part series hits television screens sometime next year.
Kate Phillips, Controller Entertainment Commissioning BBC said: “What we really really wanted on this show was a leader of the The 100 with expertise, entertainment and energy. Geri is the perfect choice and we can’t wait for her and Rob to spice up Saturday nights on BBC One.”

Alex Beresford joins Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Beresford has become the latest celebrity to sign up to ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ weatherman can’t wait to get stuck into training after he announced that he’d be taking part in the skating series’ reboot when it returns to screens next year while presenting a segment for the breakfast show from the festive-themed ice rink at the Natural History Museum in London this morning (03.11.17).
Speaking to Ben Shepard and Kate Garraway via video link, the 37-year-old hunk said he’s “always wanted” to compete on the ITV talent show and is so proud of his seven-year-old son Cruz, whom he has with his wife Natalie, for keeping his secret since July.
And his ‘GMB’ co-stars can’t wait to see him show off his fancy footwork on the rink.
The official Twitter account said: “Woo! We’re delighted to announce that our very own @alexberesfordTV is the latest addition to the @dancingonice cast! (sic)”
Alex will join the likes of cricketer Monty Panesar, rugby hunk Max Evans, Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent, Jake Quickenden, Love Island’s Kem Cetinay, Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown and Bucks Fizz’s Cheryl Baker on the ice in January.
More celebrities will be announced in due course but, for now, it’s been confirmed that acid-tongue Australian Jason Gardiner has reclaimed his position on the judging panel alongside Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – who previously mentored the contestants but have now switched positions – and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.
And it looks like there will be some animosity on the panel as Ashley is adamant he won’t allow Jason to “bully” him and will give as good as he gets.
He said: “I can imagine us clashing. Do I look like I can be bullied? No chance. I’m going to have to start thinking of witty one-liners. Jason is very good at that. He is the king of the one-liners, let’s hope he’s not lost it.”
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will return as hosts.

Sarah Harding and Chad Johnson split?

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Harding has hinted she’s split from Chad Johnson.
The Girls Aloud star set tongues wagging last night (02.11.17) when she posted a cryptic message to her Instagram account – sparking rumours she’d ended things with the American hunk after they met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house over the summer.
Alongside a broken heart emoji, she wrote: “love hurts.”
When fans began to question her post, Sarah responded with the bizarre statement: “I’m his girlfriend, or soon to be ex lol so cheers for clarifying. Go figure (sic)”
Their rumoured split comes just weeks after it was claimed the 35-year-old singer was planning to move to Los Angeles – where Chad lives – permanently after she put her lavish home in Buckinghamshire on the market.
The news came just days after the pop star was spotted running into the arms of her 30-year-old beau and planting a kiss on his lips after they were reunited at the airport.
Sarah’s decision to jet Stateside for some time came after they realised the long distance between them was wreaking havoc for their new relationship.
A source said recently: “Things are hard – they’re so far apart, and there’s the time difference too. When they do speak things are tense. It’s really tough. Things are really up and down and everyone’s saying they’re on the rocks.”
This isn’t the first time the couple have hinted that they’ve split as Chad deleted all traces of his partner – including every picture of her and them taken over the summer – from his Instagram account last month.
Chad and Sarah struck up a relationship while competing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in the UK in August, but the actress recently admitted she’s still trying to get her around her on-screen romance because she never expected to fall for someone.
She explained: “I wasn’t looking for anything when I was in there. I didn’t fancy any of the lads when I got in there at all. I didn’t look at any of them like that.
“But with me and Chad I think we only had each other to lean on and from becoming really good friends it just grew into feelings when we both got nominated and we both got saved. I think that’s when it sort of fell into more feelings.”
