Amir Khan heading for I’m A Celebrity?

OHMYGOSSIP — Amir Khan is to take part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 34-year-old boxer has jetted off to Australia to appear on the show, just hours after revealing he had reconciled with pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom following a turbulent period in which they each accused the other of being unfaithful.
And Amir is said to be hoping his stint in the jungle will help redeem his public image following his highly-publicised marital woes.
A source said: “[Producers] had hoped that as a newly-single man there could be a jungle romance with some of the sexy singletons there. But that’s now looking unlikely.
“Meanwhile Amir’s hoping he can use the show as a springboard to help rebuild some of the damaged public perception of him after his marriage split.”
The sportsman had previously been unsure whether to take part in the show as his Muslim faith may have been an issue with some of the eating trials, but he’s now ready to enter camp after talks with show bosses.
The source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “It’s been touch and go for a while, but now that he’s in Australia they’re confident he’ll end up in the camp — even though it isn’t yet signed and sealed.
“ITV have been trying to get him to do the show for years so this is a real coup for them. They think he’ll make great TV.”
Meanwhile, Rebekah Vardy is also set to enter the jungle, but almost pulled out of the show because she couldn’t bare the thought of being apart from her children and soccer star husband Jamie Vardy.
However, she has made arrangements to minimise how long she goes without seeing Megan, 11, and Taylor, six – who she has from a past relationship, and Sofia, three, and Finlay, 10 months.
An insider explained to The Sun Online: “She’s really worried about leaving her kids behind and is really panicking about it.
“She was about to pull out because she can’t bear the thought of being away from them for so long, however she has now arranged to fly them out too so that they are with her the minute she leaves the camp.
“Rebekah is going to be the last celeb to land in Australia because this has been such a last minute decision and she doesn’t want to be separated from her family any longer that necessary.”
Rebekah ultimately agreed to take part in the show because her kids wanted her to.
The source added: “The only reason she agreed to do it in the end was because her kids begged her to do it. They’re so excited to see her on TV.”

Debbie McGee wants to find love again

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee is open to finding love again.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ hopeful was left devastated after her beloved husband of 28 years, Paul Daniels, passed away from a brain tumour in March 2016, and though she is still grieving, she doesn’t want to be “alone” for the rest of her life.
She said: “None of us want to be alone. I’m trying to let life take me where I’m meant to go. But you have to meet the person you want to go out with, don’t you?
“I’m content with my life as it is at the moment. My grief is getting better – the good days are outnumbering the bad.
“I don’t know whether I will meet someone again. I’m just taking it one day at a time and trying to enjoy every moment on ‘Strictly’. What will be will be.”
The 58-year-old star admitted losing Paul has made her push herself harder than ever.
She said: “Since Paul died, I haven’t stopped working. My feet don’t touch the ground. I always try and seize the moment and not focus on the negative and that has really helped me through losing him. I live my life thinking, ‘I’m never going to get this minute again, so make the most of it.’ ”
But the tough ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ training has made Debbie miss Paul – who was a contestant on the show in 2010 – more than ever.
She told Closer magazine: “I’ve had a couple of days where I’ve felt really exhausted and it’s made me feel very emotional.
“It’s pushed me through the mills and I miss Paul much more.
“He would have loved seeing me on the show so much and I’ve been near to tears a lot more than I have since I first lost him.
“In those first few months, I cried at the drop of a hat but I had come through that.
“‘Strictly…’ has given me fantastic highs but it’s been an emotional path as well.”

The 62-year-old comic – who already has son Ben, 23, and 21-year-old daughter Lily from his marriage to Sunetra Sastry – is expecting his first child with partner Louise Ford.
The 33-year-old actress – who has been dating Rowan since 2014 – is said to be due to give birth in the next few weeks and the pair “can’t wait”.
A source told the Sunday People newspaper: “Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can’t wait for their new arrival. It’s a very happy time for them both.”
Rowan first met ‘The Windsors’ star in 2012 when they starred together in West End production ‘Quartermaine’s Terms’ and they began dating after his 25-year marriage came to an end.
And it was previously claimed Sunetra – who cited irreconcilable differences when she filed for divorce –
wasn’t happy when she learned her former spouse had moved on with someone so much younger.
A source previously said: “Sunetra was deeply upset to be replaced by such a younger woman.”
The former couple were planning to build an $16.6 million home in Oxfordshire when they split, and Sunetra has since moved to a London mansion while Rowan has his own base in the UK capital with Louise.
Meanwhile, the ‘Maigret’ actor has previously admitted he feels a “certain kinship” with the single and lonely characters he is known for playing on screen.
He previously said: “I’ve played quite a few of these sad, isolated bachelor figures – Bean is the most obvious. And I do identify with them, or aspects of them.”

Julia Roberts thinks Wonder is a ‘superhero movie’

OHMYGOSSIP — Julia Roberts had credited ‘Wonder’ as a “superhero movie”.
The 50-year-old actress portrays Isabel, the mother of August ‘Auggie’ Pullman (Jacob Tremblay) who has a rare genetic disorder named Treacher Collins, in the production, and the movie icon believes the drama should be placed in a different film category because of the topic it addresses, as she has hailed the child protagonist a “hero”.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper about the movie, which is based on author RJ Palacio’s 2012 book of the same name, she said: “To me, ‘Wonder’ is a superhero movie because Auggie is a superhero.”
The ‘Pretty Woman’ star has admitted she begged directors to cast her in the film adaptation of the novel because her and her children Henry, 10, as well as twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, both 12, all “loved” it.
She explained: “It stopped me in my tracks. I read it with my kids, I loved it, they loved it. I hurled myself on the mercy of the producers and said, ‘Please, let me be in this movie. I want to be the mom’.
“I couldn’t put the book down. It is such a powerful way of telling people how they should behave to others.
“It reminded me to find moments in every day to choose the nice approach with other people.”
The movie depicts Auggie’s struggle to settle in at school after being home schooled, and having to cope with the comments and questions made about his appearance caused by the condition, which he has undergone multiple facial operations to resolve.
But Auggie is conscious of the fact he has no ears, and has been left with scars on his face from the operations, which sees him wear a toy astronaut’s helmet when he is in public to avoid the stares.
Jacob has revealed to help prepare for the movie he asked children at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto to write to him about their experiences.
The 11-year-old actor said: “Me and my parents found children affected from the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. I asked if they could send me letters about their experiences. I got back all these letters and would read them before I did my scenes.”

David Ayer found Suicide Squad ‘tough’

OHMYGOSSIP — David Ayer admits making ‘Suicide Squad’ was “rough and tough”.
The 49-year-old director lost his confidence as a filmmaker after ‘Suicide Squad’ was savaged by critics and he found working on such a huge blockbuster wasn’t a hugely pleasant experience.
He said:” I got some supercharged muscles on ‘Suicide Squad’, from making a film so big, but it was a rough experience. A tough experience.
“It became a bit of a slog at the end.
“It was an incredible financial success but I got flayed by the critics and that’s scary, that’s painful. And it shook my confidence as a storyteller.”
But David is now feeling more secure and at ease with himself after working on his new movie for Netflix, ‘Bright’.
He added: I’m very proud of ‘Bright’. It’s my voice, it’s who I am. And it was great to get my voice back.”
And the director – who has previously spoken about how he wishes he’d made ‘Suicide Squad’ differently – suggested the problems with DC blockbuster were not entirely his fault.
Asked when he felt he had lost his “voice” on ‘Suicide Squad’, he told Empire magazine: “I gotta be cautious on how I answer things like that.
“If someone walks into a bank and shoots it up under your name, it’s under your name. What are you gonna do?”
Ayer previously admitted he wished he’d placed Jared Leto’s Joker at the heart of ‘Suicide Squad’.
He tweeted: “Wish I had a time machine.
“I’d make Joker the main villain and engineer a more grounded story. I have to take the good and bad and learn from it. I love making movies and I love DC [Comics].
“I’m a high school dropout and used to paint houses for a living. I’m lucky to have the job I have. I have to give the characters the stories and plots they deserve. Real talk.”

Vanessa Kirby used Tom Cruise’s injury as excuse to get drunk on set

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Kirby “ate loads” and “got very drunk” when Tom Cruise broke his ankle on the ‘Mission: Impossible 6’ set.
The 29-year-old actress has had to work hard to stay in shape for her leading role in the upcoming blockbuster, so when news broke that production would be going on hold after her co-star got injured while filming a stunt, she was delighted to relax her diet and exercise regime.
Asked what she did when the news came through, she said: “I ate loads that day. And I got very drunk.”
Ahead of her first meeting with Tom, Vanessa binge-watched all five previous films in the franchise.
She admitted: “Yeah, it did fry my mind.”
Vanessa is best known for playing the late Princess Margaret in ‘The Crown’ and she admitted she wishes “so much” that she could get drunk with Queen Elizabeth’s younger sister.
She told GQ magazine: “She’d be really fun. She was the coolest person. I’m such a Margaret pervert.”
Vanessa immersed herself in researching the life of the princess when she landed the role in the Netflix series and one of her favourite stories was of Margaret having a toilet built as a throne.
She gushed: “When I thought was brilliant.”
Studio Paramount announced in August production on ‘Mission: Impossible 6’ had been delayed due to Tom’s injury, but reassured fans of the franchise this shouldn’t affect its release date.
They said in a statement: “During production on the latest ‘Mission: Impossible’ film, Tom Cruise broke his ankle while performing a stunt.
“Production will go on hiatus while Tom makes a full recovery, and the film remains on schedule to open July 27, 2018.
“Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can’t wait to share the film with everyone next summer.”

Jamie King felt so ‘passionate’ creating film ‘Bitch’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie King has “never” felt so “passionate” about a movie than she has with ‘Bitch’.
The 38-year-old actress portrays Beth in the drama thriller, which Marianna Palka directed and also starred in, has admitted she is proud to be a part of the production and she has never felt so positive with a project than she did with this because it addresses a lot of important subject matters.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the ‘White Chicks’ beauty said: “Never in my life have I ever been this passionate about a film. And that I am seeing it going into every outlet across America. This film has so much to say about humanity and feminism and pro-family and being like a medicine of saying ‘What is the price of loving? What is the price of freedom?’ But the freedom of living according to your truth.
“Particularly my character Beth coming in with every inch of her life to save her sister and this relentless need to protect all females, which has been snuffed out.”
And the 36-year-old creator has revealed she is surprised by the response to the movie, but she has found it “rewarding” people have opened up to her about their thoughts on her work, and she has admitted parents have come up to her “crying” and vowed to change how they act after watching the film.
Marianna said: “People responded it so openly. As a filmmaker it is so rewarding to have people literally come up to you like men in suits come up to me crying saying they will be a better dad and saying ‘I didn’t realise I know the names of my kids schools’.
“It feels very real. ”
And Marianna believes the entire cast and creative team “gave [their] all” into the film, which she welcomed because she believes actors are paid to be “wild”.
She said: “We gave it our all and we risked everything to make this movie. You are not watching just any movie but us at our best.
“It’s so wonderful that in film, and theatre and in music. We are actually able to be wild, that’s what we are getting paid to do. We get to be wild. It’s such a unique experience.
“As adults we are pushed into corners and told to behave.”

The couple first met on ‘Love Island’ in 2016 and are set to get married next year, but the tattooed hunk has admitted he is already thinking of their future and a family as he hoped the pair will enjoy a night of passion and he can impregnate his lover as soon as they exchange their vows.

Olivia swiftly added she is keen to have a relationship the “traditional way”.
She added: “[I want it] the traditional way.”
Olivia is already preparing for their marital ceremony as she recently appeared on an episode of ‘Say Yes to the Dress UK’, and the pair are contemplating filming their wedding day and airing the episode on TV to “complete [their] love story” because they want their fans to follow their romance that started on the small screen.
The 23-year-old said: “We’re in talks about having our wedding filmed as it would be nice to look back on. People saw us get together on ‘Love Island’ so it will complete our love story.”
But Olivia and Alex are not bothered they will not be the first couple coming out of ‘Love Island’ to tie the knot, as Jess Shears and Dom Lever will wed next month.
Alex said: “We’re going to wait until September so Jess and Dom Lever will beat us in December. I’m marrying Olivia so that’s all I care about, I don’t care about being the first.”

Kem Cetinay throws ‘tantrums’ during his ‘Dancing On Ice’ training

OHMYGOSSIP — Kem Cetinay keeps throwing “tantrums” during his ‘Dancing On Ice’ training.
The ‘Love Island’ winner is set to take part in the celebrity skating contest when it returns to TV screens soon, but it seems his practice sessions aren’t going to well.
He told Heat magazine: “I’m the most unflexible, uncoordinated person ever.
“The physio asked, ‘How high can you kick your leg?’ and I was like, ‘This is it’.
“And the skates hurt my feet as well.
“I keep throwing tantrums too. I’ll be 10 minutes in and just be like, ‘This is too hard, I can’t do it anymore.’ ”
While Kem, 21, is busy training for the show, his girlfriend Amber Davis – who he met on ‘Love Island’ – is keeping herself occupied by hanging out with his mum.
Kem said: “We’re not living together yet as we’re both away from home so much, there isn’t any point in buying a house right now.
“But Amber has become BFFs with my mum – they’re planning to go to St. Lucia together.”
And Kem couldn’t be happier about their friendship.
He said: “I love it. My mum has always wanted a girl in the family as it’s all boys. My nan is one of 14 – and the only female.”
Despite his skating tantrums, Kem recently vowed to push himself as hard as possible to win the show.
Speaking previously, he said: “I still can’t believe I’m going to be on ‘Dancing on Ice’!
“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be strapping on a pair of skates and dancing in some Lycra. Anyone who knows me will know how competitive I am, so I’m going to work very hard to stay on my feet! I can’t wait to get my skates on.”

Larry Lamb reveals his biggest achievements

OHMYGOSSIP — Larry Lamb’s “greatest achievement” is working on ‘Gavin and Stacey’ and ‘EastEnders’ at the same time.
The 70-year-old actor has admitted his ultimate career success is being able to juggle playing Archie Mitchell in the BBC One soap, and Mick Shipman in the romantic comedy series simultaneously, but he found playing two “contrasting characters” made work “more pleasurable” for him.
Speaking to The Sun’s TV magazine, he said: “In terms of TV, the fact that I managed to pull off ‘Gavin & Stacey’ and ‘EastEnders’ simultaneously has probably been my greatest achievement. Playing those two contrasting characters made each one more pleasurable. I couldn’t sit around worrying that Mick [in ‘Gavin & Stacey’] was too nice because the next minute I was back playing Walford’s Mr Nasty [Archie Mitchell].”
Larry was killed off by Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner) in the longstanding programme in 2010, and though he left the show seven years ago he still keeps in contact with his on-screen daughters Samantha Womack, who played Ronnie Mitchell, and Rita Simons, who portrayed Roxy, as well as his on-screen wife Peggy Mitchell (Dame Barbara Windsor ).
He said: ” I keep in touch with my two EastEnders daughters [Samantha Womack and Rita Simons, who played Ronnie and Roxy] and Barbara Windsor.”
Meanwhile, the ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get me out of Here!’ contestant – who took part in the ITV show last year – has admitted he boasts a strong relationship with his son George Lamb, and he feels “much closer” to the 37-year-old presenter than ever before.
Larry – who also has daughters Eloise, Vanessa, and Eva-Mathilde from previous relationships – said: “George and I have got much closer as adults. My life was always about pursuing acting, so although we were close when he was young, the circumstances were that we didn’t go on holidays. Now we see each other all the time. George is a strong character. You get on or you don’t get on with George. And we get on.”

Debbie McGee is desperate to win Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee is “in it to win it” on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 58-year-old star and her professional partner Giovanni Pernice have been wowing the judges and fans of the show with their routines, and the star is determined to push herself as far as possible in order to scoop the glitterball trophy.
She told Closer magazine: “I’m in it to win it – you don’t go into show business if you’re not a high achiever.
“I give 100 per cent to every job I do, I just hope I’m good enough to win.”
Although Debbie used to be a ballet dancer, she thinks its her yoga and Pilates training that have given her an advantage on the programme.
She said: “I’ve always been fit and do an 8am Ashtanga yoga or Pilates class at my local gym three or four times a week. Exercise makes you feel happier…
“I don’t think my ballet training has helped me on ‘Strictly’, it’s my yoga. It keeps you strong and supple and Pilates maintains your core.”
Debbie – whose husband Paul Daniels died from a brain tumour last year – is thankful to have found a friendly and supportive professional partner in 27-year-old Giovanni.
She said: “Giovanni has been so understanding for a guy of his age. He’s so protective of me.
“Sometimes if I talk or think about Pual, the floodgates open and he will give me a hug and be upset for me…
The fact we get on has made ‘Strictly’ so special. Every day is different. It’s so much better than I could have dreamed. Everybody is just so lovely.”

X Factor cancel quadruple elimination

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell has cancelled the quadruple elimination on this weekend’s ‘The X Factor’.
The ITV talent show’s host, Dermot O’Leary, announced last Sunday (05.11.17) two competitors would get the boot on both Saturday (11.11.17) and Sunday (12.11.17) evening, but the show has since made a U-turn and decided against the major format twist because the 58-year-old music mogul thinks it is “unfair” to axe “great talent”.
Speaking about the decision to prevent the major shake-up, an ITV source told the Radio Times Online: “We have some great talent on the show this year. Simon [Cowell] thinks it’s unfair to cut the numbers so drastically when contestants are doing so well.”
And the programme’s producers will revert back to the original format because they are keen to give the hopefuls “more time to shine” and want the viewers to “pick their favourites”.
The insider added: “Talent this year is exceptional and with less weeks of live shows producers want to give them more time to shine and more time for the audiences pick their favourites.”
ITV have also confirmed the elimination will remain as it has been over the past few weeks, which will see a one competitor leave the show each night of the live shows this weekend.
ITV confirmed: “This weekend’s show will feature one act leaving on Saturday and one act leaving on Sunday.”
This news will no doubt be a huge relief for the budding artists, who have recently been plagued by a sickness bug.
The Price brothers, Holly Tandy and Matt Linnen, have been struck down with Norovirus and have been confined to their beds, and bosses of the singing show fear no one will be fit enough to perform their George Michael renditions.
A separate source previously said: “They’ve started dropping like flies. They’re all having early nights and resting their bodies and voices. We can’t afford to have no shows.”

Sandra Bullock to star in new biopic Let Her Speak

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Bullock is set to star as Texas senator Wendy Davis in the new drama ‘Let Her Speak’.
The 53-year-old actress has joined the cast as the Democratic senator whose 11-hour filibuster helped stall an anti-abortion bill in the Texas state house, Variety reports.
Back in 2013, Davis became a national icon when she staged her filibuster – a political procedure where a debate is held over a proposed piece of legislation to delay or prevent a decision being made.
Davis managed to delay the passage of the bill – which included more restrictive abortion regulations for Texas and to close all clinics in the state – beyond the midnight deadline for the end of the legislative session.
The new movie will be produced by Todd Black and Jason Blumenthal through their Escape Artists banner with Mario Correa penning the script.
Bullock will be next seen starring in the new Netflix thriller ‘Bird Box’ which tells the story of a woman and a pair of children, who are among the survivors after an alien invasion.
The ‘American Horror Story’ actress Sarah Paulson will join Oscar-winner alongside Danielle Macdonald, Trevante Rhodes, Jacki Weaver, Rosa Salazar and Lil Rel Howery and John Malkovich.
In the post-apocalyptic movie, the family must navigate their way through a river on a small rowing boat while blindfolded.
The script has been written by Eric Heisserer and Susanne Bier is directing the movie.
Paulson and Bullock recently worked on ‘Ocean’s Eight’ together alongside Rihanna and Paulson admitted they spent much of the time on set trying to stop themselves from singing Rihanna’s hits.
She also said her castmates – who also included Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway – would feel an especially strong urge to hum Rihanna tunes whenever she would turn around and look at them.

Henry Cavill is honoured to play Superman

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Cavill insists it’s “always an honour” for him to play Superman.
The 34-year-old actor has played Clark Kent and his flying alter-ego in two films so far – ‘Man of Steel’ and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, which saw his character killed – and the character’s presence is felt throughout the ‘Justice League’ movie and he is proud to be carrying on the superhero’s illustrious cinematic legacy.
Speaking to E! News, Cavill said: “Being a part of this movie was very important because Superman is represented in that he’s only an ideal in this movie. We feel the loss of that character in this movie because he’s not present anymore. The example he set just by being is made all the stronger because of his lack of presence. And it’s always an honour to be part of that and highlight the true powers of Superman.”
‘Justice League’ focuses on Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, who must come together to protect Earth from the alien threat of Steppenwolf
Speaking about his co-stars, Cavill said they are all “incredible people” and “amazing actors”.
He said: “They are incredible people, amazing actors, and they put so much work into these characters.”
Recently, Cavill said that whilst the feature has some comic moments, it would be wrong to label it as light-hearted, as the overall tone is still “serious” like some of the other DC Extended Universe movies.
He said: “The tone of the film – I’m not going to say it is light, because that would be doing it an injustice. It has a serious scenario with moments of humour and lightness peppered throughout.”

Ray Fisher says Cyborg is a ‘super deep’ superhero

OHMYGOSSIP — Ray Fisher’s interpretation of Cyborg is “super deep”.
The 30-year-old actor made a cameo as Victor Stone aka Cyborg in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and will make his big screen debut as the character in ‘Justice League’.
Fisher has revealed it was a “three year process” to develop his character and he insists he brings a lot of Victor’s emotional struggle about the injuries that led to him becoming Cyborg.
Speaking at the London press conference for ‘Justice League’, Fisher said: “It was a three year process from start to finish with this film which was absolutely necessary because the character is super deep and I think him being able to put the negative notions aside about himself and his powers is sort of what all this is about.
“To be able to become a part of the team, the way he once was when he was an American football player. So, I hope it resonates with fans.”
Cyborg was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez and first appeared in DC Comics Presents #26 in 1980.
Most of Victor’s body was destroyed due to an incident which occurred at the laboratory where his scientist parents worked, but his father saves him through the use of experimental technology and prosthetics with his body parts being replaced with a large arsenal of high-tech gadgets and weaponry.
Fisher also said he believes his character is “super reluctant” to join the ‘Justice League’ due to his accident.
He said: “I think in a lot of ways, Cyborg is super reluctant to join the team because of the trauma that he had due to the accident he had and the fact that he cannot live a normal life the way that these other members can. He can’t take off his costume and just walk the streets in a super identity. He is both Victor Stone and Cyborg 24/7. So bouncing that duality within oneself was a very interesting process.”
Fisher will join Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Henry Cavill as Superman.
‘Justice League’ will see Bruce Wayne aka Batman enlisting the help of the meta humans to stand against a newly awakened enemy. The film hits cinemas this month.
