Benicio del Toro teases his character in Star Wars: The Last Jedi

OHMYGOSSIP — Benicio del Toro has teased his character in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ is neither “good or bad”.
The 50-year-old actor is playing the mysterious DJ in the eighth installment in the sci-fi franchise, and he has sent fandom spinning by suggesting his alter ego is neither associated with the light or dark side.
Speaking to SciFi Now magazine, del Toro said: “Maybe you could find him in a Bob Dylan song or a Tom Waits song. Or maybe in a Dostoyevsky novel. You’ll find DJ in one of those stories. You don’t what he is. But that’s the idea … You don’t know if he’s good or bad.”
‘The Last Jedi’ is set to feature a number of returning cast members, including ‘Star Wars’ legend Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), John Boyega (Finn), Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Andy Serkis (Snoke), Domhnall Gleeson (General Lux) and the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia.
While Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran, as well as del Toro, are all newcomers to the franchise.
Recently, filmmaker Rian Johnson said filming ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ was overwhelming.
The 43-year-old filmmaker said during a behind-the-scenes look at the highly anticipated film, he had some “holy crap” moments while filming.
In the exclusive footage, Johnson said: “Walking up the ramp, walking through the hallway, I get flashbacks to when I was a kid with the action figures.
“Suddenly I had a big lump in my throat. Just so happy. You know it gets ya.
“[This is the] first time shooting with Mark, first time shooting with Daisy, first time shooting a ‘Star Wars’ movie and you know it’s some cool stuff.
“There’s a weird that happens when it’s being built and when you first show up you are kind of overwhelmed by it all and you get into the nitty gritty of working on it and naturally that level of it goes away and you find yourself just focused on making the scene work, getting the shots, and once in a while you’re taking a little break and you look around and you get the holy crap again.”

James Franco in talks for X-Men spin-off

OHMYGOSSIP — James Franco is in talks to join Fox’s ‘X-Men’ universe.
The 39-year-old actor is in negotiations to play Multiple Man in a new standalone movie being developed by producer Simon Kinberg – who is currently working on ‘X-Men: The Dark Phoenix’, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The film will reportedly be penned by ‘Wonder Woman’ scribe Allan Heinberg and will be produced by Kinberg under his Genre Films label and Franco’s Ramona Films.
Multiple Man, also called James Madrox, was created by writer Len Wein and first appeared in ‘Giant -Size Fantastic Four #4’ in 1975.
The hero has the ability to create instant duplicates of himself and was mainly a minor or supporting character until he appeared in the 1987 mini comic book series ‘Fallen Angels’, which was team of teenage superheroes.
Multiple Man underwent greater development under writer Peter David through the monthly series ‘X-Factor’ in the 1990s and in the 2000s.
Franco won’t be the first actor to bring the character to the big screen with Eric Dane playing him in 2006’s ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ which was directed by Brett Ratner and written by Kinberg.
Fox has currently been ramping up their ‘X-Men’ universe and is set to release three films next year ‘Dark Phoenix’, ‘New Mutants’ and the Ryan Reynolds-led ‘Deadpool 2’.
Olivia Munn, who will reprise her role as the Marvel Comics heroine Psylocke in ‘Dark Phoenix’, recently revealed the film will be split into two movies.
She said: “I don’t know what I’m supposed to say. I’m supposed to be vague. That’s my answer. I’m horrible at that. It’s like a two parter, this movie. That’s more than I’ve said, in general. I don’t know why people have to be so secretive.”
A Gambit movie – which is set to star Channing Tatum – is also in the works with Gore Verbinski set to helm.
As well, ‘Logan’ star Dafne Keen – who starred as Laura in the hit R-rated movie – is also getting her own spin-off with filmmaker James Mangold developing the production.

Ezra Miller says the DCEU will be torn asunder in Flashpoint

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Miller said the current DC Extended Universe will be “torn asunder” in ‘The Flash: Flashpoint’.
The 25-year-old actor – who previously cameoed in ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ as Barry Allen/ The Flash and has reprised the role in the upcoming DCEU movie ‘Justice League’ – is set to get his own standalone film as the speedy superhero, which if it follows the comic storyline of the same name, will explore an alternate universe for the famous characters.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Miller admitted his standalone film will cause an “endless, headache-inducing fabric of multiversality”.
He said: “What fans understand when they hear ‘Flashpoint’ would be almost like hearing a word like ‘crisis’. We start to understand that our precious DC Universe will inevitably be torn asunder to an endless, headache-inducing fabric of multiversality. The DC hyped-Extended Multiverse, as I plan to call it. Quote me.”
‘Flashpoint’ involves Barry Allen aka The Flash travelling back in time and saving his mother’s life, creating a radical new reality where the Justice League never formed.
With the new reality, heroes and villains have swapped places, while characters like Aquaman and Wonder Woman have become competing warlords and Batman’s father Thomas Wayne takes on a darker version of the Caped Crusader.
In ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan played Thomas and Martha Wayne and Miller recently said he would love to see them back in the roles for ‘Flashpoint’.
Asked if Morgan should return to the series, he said: Oh, hell yeah. I think he’s amazing…And I think he would fall right into what is becoming a very, very serious ensemble of actors.
“I’m so excited about Kiersey Clemons (who will play Iris West). I’m so excited about Billy Crudup (The Flash’s father). I just couldn’t be more stoked about the names involved so far.”

Michelle Williams heading to Rio?

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Williams is in negotiations to star in ‘Rio’.
The 37-year-old actress is said to be in talks to feature in the motion picture based in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro and directed by Luca Guadagnino from a script by Steven Knight.
According to Variety, the movie will star Jake Gyllenhaal as a financial reporter who heads to Rio to visit his rich pal, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, but he gets caught up in a plot to fake his friend’s death.
Cumberbatch will produce the motion picture alongside Adam Ackland, and Studiocanal are to finance the film.
Williams looks set for a busy 2018 as in September it was reported she had signed up to appear in ‘Spider-Man’ spin-off movie ‘Venom’.
Her role is not yet known but she is set to appear alongside Riz Ahmed and Tom Hardy, who will take on the titular role of the webslinger superhero’s arch-nemesis.
Sony Pictures confirmed Hardy will take on the part in May.
They wrote on Twitter: “Tom Hardy is Eddie Brock in #Venom, the upcoming film from Sony’s Marvel Universe releasing October 5, 2018 – production starts this fall. (sic)”
It also looks like being a busy end of the year for Williams as she and Mark Wahlberg are said to be re-shooting parts of their movie ‘All the Money in the World’ after Kevin Spacey was replaced by Christopher Plummer.
Spacey was dropped from the role of J Paul Getty in the wake of sexual harassment and assault allegations made against him.
The movie is still scheduled to be released on December 22.

Luke Evans wants to play Sir Tom Jones in biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Evans is desperate to play Sir Tom Jones in a movie biopic.
The 38-year-old actor has admitted he would “love” nothing more than to play the role of the 77-year-old music legend if a film about the Welsh icon was to be created, because he thinks he could belt out the singer’s hits, including ‘Delilah’ and ‘Sex Bomb’.
Speaking about his dream production, the ‘Girl On The Train’ star – who was born in Pontypool in Wales – said: “I’d like to say, on record, that if they made a biopic of Tom Jones, I would love to play him.”
Asked if he could match Tom’s vocals, the dark-haired hunk said: “I think definitely I could give it a go.”
And Luke is hoping he can reprise his role as Gaston in the 2017 remake of the 1991 Disney classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ star in a spin off in the future, because he thinks there is “plenty” of potential for his character.
Speaking about the production, he said: “Amazing job. It was a great role, I never wanted that job to finish. I’m hoping for a spin off at some point, there’s plenty we could do with him.”
Luke also plays the role of Owen Shaw in the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, and he has admitted Dame Judi Dench – who portrays Luke’s on-screen mother – forgot they co-starred in the movie together.
Speaking about the embarrassing moment, he explained: “I get stopped [and recognised] for this bad guy character, as much as I get stopped for anything else.
“She sat across the table and she said ‘Oh so where are you from?’ She plays my mother in ‘Fast 8’ but she has never met me, she hadn’t connected that I actually played her son … I just said, ‘So I have to remind you that you played my mum in the movie’ and she said, ‘Oh darling, I’m so sorry, I’ve never seen any of them so I would never know.'”
The ‘Dracula Untold’ hunk also features in ‘Professor Marston and the Wonder Women’, but he has revealed he struggled filming the steamy sex scenes.
Speaking on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, which will air on Saturday (18.11.17), he said: “I didn’t know how to do the tying up thing, none of us did. I can tie my shoelaces up, I can tie myself up in knots sometimes. The director brought in these two ladies who were professional dominatrix. It’s a whole community that I didn’t know about. So we spent a few days with these two women who taught us how to … It was all about the women tying me up more than I got to tie them up. It was very entertaining. It was just funny, it was a very weird thing to do on camera. Sex is one thing, but being tied up in a 1920s costume, it was quite funny. [Sex scenes] are awkward.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins cancelled her appearance at a nightclub in Sheffield after contracting cystitis.
The ‘TOWIE’ star was due to entertain students at Plug on Thursday (16.11.17) but had to pull out after being told to get some bed rest by her doctor after coming down with the water infection.
Gemma, 36, broke the news to her fans in an Instagram video which she recorded after switching on Freeport’s Christmas lights in Essex.
Alongside the clip, Gemma wrote: “Lovely to meet you all this evening was a blast but sadly I won’t be making Sheffield tonight.
“I didn’t want to let anyone down doctors orders bed and rest for me I have a water infection guys I’m so sorry I don’t want to let anyone down but I have to rest xxx love you all.”
Organised Chaos – who planned for the event – issued a statement to The Tab Sheffield which read: “We are extremely sorry for the disappointment this may cause, but it is totally out of the control of OC and Plug.”
Gemma got a lot of get well soon messages from her followers but many students were angry about her last minute cancellation, with some travelling from Manchester for her PA, like ‘The GC’ super-fan Eden Cady-Mckellar.
Eden told The Tab: “I trekked all the way to Sheffield from Manchester to see my babe Gemma and was absolutely buzzing. “But when she cancelled I felt like she just dropped me like that stage did to her.”
Gemma did post a second video to Instagram in which she promised to make it up to her Sheffield fans.
‘The Only Way Is Essex’ veteran said in the footage: “I just wanted to say I’m really sorry I can’t make Sheffield tonight, I so would love to be there but doctors orders are to stay in bed. I’ve got a water infection so I’m not feeling that great and didn’t want to let anyone down at Freeport tonight, I know there was a lot of young children there. I’m not well but I’ll be back soon. Denise Van Outen’s striptease confession

OHMYGOSSIP — Denise Van Outen seduces her boyfriend by doing stripteases while she vacuums.
The 43-year-old star – who competed on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2012 – gets frustrated when Eddie Boxshall won’t give in to her requests to dance with her at home but she finds a good partner in her domestic appliance and she admits her salsa sessions often get steamy as she puts a “bit of fun” into their relationship.
She said: “It spices things up a bit, I’ve been partial to a striptease, normally impromptu, I don’t plan it. It normally starts with a hoover, normally an upright, cordless.
“I have this thing at home, whenever I’m with Eddie in the kitchen – I’m gonna get myself in so much trouble – and I’ve had a couple of wines, I like to have a bit of a dance, obviously I did ‘Strictly’, so my salsa moves, but he won’t dance with me so I do it with the hoover first.
“And then normally, you know… Before you know it..
“I’m not turned on by a hoover! It’s the fact you can move it round freely, you can get a bit of a move going on, use the hips, move it around the house a bit. I think it’s good to be like that and have a bit of fun, spice things up.”
Fellow ‘Loose Women’ panellist Linda Robson – who has three children with husband Mark Dunford – admitted she also likes to dance around her house, but insists it’s never anything sexy.
The 59-year-old star quipped: “I do a little dance but t’s normally in my granny nightie.”
But Kaye Adams insisted she isn’t confident enough to try and seduce her husband, Ian Campbell.
When Denise suggested she try her hoover striptease, she said: “I wish I could but the honest truth is I don’t have the confidence to do it, the thought of being rejected is so appalling, I would never come out from under a rock.”
But Andrea McLean – who admitted she’s also stripped for her partner in the past – urged her to try anyway.
The show’s anchor – who is engaged to Nick Feeney – said: “It’s all about a look in the eye.
“I’ve been turned down flat and it’s embarrassing but you just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again.”

Shane Richie to return to EastEnders?

OHMYGOSSIP — Shane Richie has hinted he may return to ‘EastEnders’ next year.
The 53-year-old actor bowed out of the long-running soap at the beginning of last year and has since gone on to focus on his music, but he has teased that he may reprise his role as Alfie Moon – a part he’s played on and off since 2002 – in the near future as John Yorke, who created the character, has reclaimed his job as executive producer.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Friday (17.11.17), he said: “John Yorke, who’s now taken over ‘EastEnders’, in 2001 and 2002 he created the Slaters and the Moons.
“He’s one of the best executive producers I’ve worked with. He’s back at ‘EastEnders’ now, so who knows with Kat [played by Jessie Wallace] and Alfie?”
After Shane and Jessie left the soap, they landed their own spin-off show ‘Redwater’ – created by Dominic Treadwell-Collins – and, although the series ended with Kat lying on a beach in her own blood, the actor doesn’t think the couple are actually dead.
He explained: “We did the very last episode of ‘Redwater’ – Alfie flatlining and Kat lying on the beach in her own blood. So we thought they were dead.”
Shane was told that they were only creating one series of ‘Redwater’ but he’s heard through the grapevine that there may be another instalment – but without his character.
He added: “They said ‘Redwater’ won’t be coming back but I keep hearing things that it might be back, not with Kat and Alfie.”
And it’s not just Shane that would like to reprise his role in the soap, as Laila Morse – who was known for playing Maureen ‘Big Mo’ Slater – is desperate to return as well.
She said recently: “I had no idea that would be the end of it. Really and truly, I never left! I think I’m with Kat and Alfie in Spain right now, helping them with their kids. But there was no party of anything like that when I left – and that’s after 16 years in the show! … I hope they bring us all back – I loved working on ‘EastEnders’.”

Martin Clunes comforted by dog

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Clunes’ dog is like a comforting teddy bear.
The 55-year-old actor – who has 18-year-old daughter Emily with wife Philippa Braithwaite – loves taking his beloved Jack Russell Jim to work with him because he knows he can turn to his canine companion when he feels “sad or tired”.
He said: “He has been [to the ‘Doc Martin’ set], if I was a bit sad or tired, he can come and visit me.
“When Emily was born we read this book, [and it said] a child’s teddy bear, when they’ve got it with them, they can do anything, [so] don’t take it away from them, and quite often Jim is like that for me.”
Martin was accompanied by Jim on his appearance on TV show ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (17.11.17) and though the dog stayed quiet on the desk during his famous owner’s interview, he still managed to cause chaos.
Midway through Martin’s chat with the panel, anchor Andrea McLean got up from her seat to stroke the dog and said: “Jim you’re lovely but your bum has knocked off Martin’s microphone.”
She readjusted the former ‘Men Behaving Badly’ star’s mic and their chat continued as normal before the show broke for adverts.
However, when the show returned to air, the panel and studio audience were in fits of laughter and it was revealed Martin had had to come back on the set as Jim had broken free from the green room and wandered back out.
Andrea quipped: “If you’ve ever wondered if ‘Loose Women’ is pre-recorded, we’re completely live. We’ve never had a dog wander through the studio. I’ve had a few dogs sitting here with me.”
When the audience gasped, she insisted: “You were thinking it.”

Sinitta regrets outburst at Simon Cowell after X Factor snub

OHMYGOSSIP — Sinitta regrets telling Simon Cowell to “kiss her black ass” after her snubbed her from ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘So Macho’ hitmaker unleashed a vicious rant on social media over the summer when she found out that her best friend has asked Cheryl Tweedy to be his guest – a role she usually gets – during the Judges’ Houses round of the singing competition instead of her, but she has admitted she now feels a little embarrassed by her tirade because it was “very un-lady like” to bring her bottom into it.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Friday (17.11.17), she said: “I’m over it now. I must admit, it was a bit unlady like when I talked about my… you know… I told [Simon] to kiss my black [behind] – that wasn’t lady like.”
Although she was fuming, the 54-year-old singer reached out to the music mogul a few weeks back when he was rushed to hospital after taking a tumble down a flight of stairs because she realised their friendship is more important than a television show.
She explained: “It’s okay. The friendship is more important than the show, isn’t it? First of all, it wasn’t me [that pushed him]. [His collapse] did actually help cure the rift because you go, ‘Oh my gosh, something has happened’. All of a sudden, I was just concerned about him.”
However, Sinitta may get her job back next year as Simon, 58, would like Cheryl – who gave birth to her first child Bear eight months ago – to reclaim her seat on the judging panel for 2018’s series.
Asked whether he would have her back on the panel, he said: “We’ll consider it. Let’s wait till the end of the show… maybe [current judges Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne] don’t want come back [next year and there will be a space on the panel]. Let’s see what happens, I wouldn’t rule anything out.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! gets sexy makeover

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ bosses are keen to “sex up the show” this year after taking inspiration from the summer’s steamy series of ‘Love Island’.
The new instalment of the creepy-crawly show is set to hit screens this weekend as a new batch of celebrities attempt to survive jungle life for three weeks and, although the format will remain the same, producers have decided to add a more props to encourage more nudity which, they hope, will create some sparks between singletons.
Producer Oliver Nash told the Daily Star newspaper: “It [the new bath] would be nice for a couple to sit in and we have some good potential couples coming our way. It was well used in the dry runs when we tested it out.
“There absolutely could be romance with our cast this year, there are a lot of very good looking people. The potential for romance is higher than ever. Hopefully we can get back to the days when Edwina Curry got away from the camp to talk about other housemates and couples got away from other campmates for some private time.”
Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo, The Saturdays’ Vanessa White and YouTube star Jack Maynard are all single going into the jungle this year and are hoping to find love.
The 23-year-old beauty even dumped her boyfriend James Middleton before she jetted out to Australia – where the show if filmed – because she didn’t want any “ties” at home.
A source said: “Toff wanted to be single for the jungle, so she had no ties back at home. She’s broken up with him before so this time around wasn’t hard.
“Toff is really throwing herself into the experience as she knows this has potential to be a big boost for her career.”

David Bradley says Doctor Who is safe with Jodie Whittaker

OHMYGOSSIP — David Bradley says ‘Doctor Who’ is in safe hands with Jodie Whittaker because she has “all the emotional range you could want” in an actor.
New showrunner Chris Chibnall has bravely taken the decision to make Whittaker the first woman to play the Gallifreyan time traveller and she will first be seen as the Thirteenth Doctor when Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth incarnation regenerates in this year’s Christmas special ‘Twice Upon a Time’.
Bradley, 75, appears in that episode as the First Doctor – originally portrayed by William Hartnell and brought back to life on the screen by the actor in making of ‘Doctor Who’ drama ‘An Adventure in Space and Time’ – and also worked with Whittaker, 35, on Chibnall’s crime drama ‘Broadchurch’ and from that experience he knows she’ll be great.
Speaking to the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine, he said: “She has all the emotional range you could want, and she’s going to be very funny as well. So she’s perfect for the Doctor, really.”
Bradley also believes Chibnall is the perfect person to replace outgoing showrunner Steven Moffat because he is such a talented scriptwriter and has lots of history with the BBC sci-fi series.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star said: “Chris’ scripts are so rich and fascinating. Well-drawn, forceful characters. As an actor, working with Chris, you feel you’re in very good hands. As you do with Steven.
“We’re all in it together on ‘Doctor Who’, and everybody wants it to be good. I think Chris will be amazing. Doctor Who’s future is in safe hands.”
‘Twice Upon a Time’ will focus on the end of the First Doctor’s era and will feature the Twelfth Time Lord having to convince the original that he has to accept his regeneration.
The hour-long special will also be last appearance of Pearl Mackie as companion Bill Potts before Whittaker joins with her new TARDIS team; Bradley Walsh as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yasmin.

Scott Disick turns down Celebs Go Dating

OHMYGOSSIP — Scott Disick was approached for ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star – who dated Kourtney Kardashian on and off for 10 years until last year – was reportedly at the top of producers’ wish list for the new series next year after his friend Jonathan Cheban took part last year, but he’s decided to turn the offer down because it wasn’t enough and he’s dating Sofia Richie.
A source told The Sun Online: “Scott’s actually turned it down twice – he heard about it through Jonathan Cheban, and the show was interested in having him on, but only if he was single and serious about going on dates. For Scott, though, it wasn’t enough money and he hooked up with Sofia a while ago so it’s a no-go for him right now.”
But the 34-year-old businessman isn’t the only member of the Kardashian clan being eyed up for a series as Khloe Kardashian’s best friend Malika Haqq was in talks with bosses about doing the dating show but, unfortunately, things didn’t work out.
An insider explained: “Malika was actually in talks for a while, but things didn’t work out – but they’d still love her to go on the show.”
The fourth series is set to his screens in the spring of next year and, although there are many celebrities keen to take part, Lady Nadia Essex – who is the show’s relationship guru alongside Eden Blackman – and the production team are being “selective.”
A source said: “‘Celebs Go Dating’ has so many celebs wanting to come on the show – everyone is always asking producers if they can have a meeting, and asking Lady Nadia Essex when they see her out at parties.
“Everyone wants to go on it, so producers have to be selective.”

Ruth Langsford is a new woman after Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes says his wife Ruth Langsford is a “new woman” after her stint on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘This Morning’ host thinks the 57-year-old presenter has been given a new lease of life after learning to dance over the past eight weeks on the BBC One ballroom and latin show – alongside professional partner Anton Du Beke – and not only has it “re-energized” her psychically and mentally, but it’s also helped her get through a difficult period whilst going through the menopause.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Eamonn said: “Strictly’s been wonderful for Ruth. She was having a hard time from the menopause , mentally and physically. ‘Strictly’ has given her a new direction in life. It has reinvigorated her, re-energized her and reinvented her. She knows she has been blessed and been given the chance to do something extraordinary other women her age don’t get to do. She is very grateful for it and she deserves it. When I met her she didn’t believe in herself and didn’t have confidence. I think this is her moment.”
Throughout the competition, Eamonn, also 57, made no secret of the fact he struggled while his spouse was competing on show because he barely got to see her and, although he was sad she’ll no longer take to the dance floor every weekend, he said he was glad they can finally get back to normality.
Taking to his Twitter account after Ruth and Anton were booted out of the competition last weekend, he wrote: “Well it’s #Strictly over and my darling @RuthieeL has no complaints. Thanks to the support of you amazing folk she had an amazing run with an amazing partner. I am feeling a lot of Love for her out there but I am also looking forward to having my Wife & our Life back. (sic),” followed by a thumbs up emoji.
Ruth then took to her social networking site to thank her husband and their 15-year-old son Jack for supporting her every weekend and putting up with her absence at home.
She replied: “And thank you my darling and our wonderful son Jack for being there to support me EVERY week. Love you both (sic).”

Ben Shephard is obsessed with hoovers

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Shephard has six vacuum cleaners.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter was discussing how much mess glitter can make during today’s show (17.11.17) alongside his co-host Kate Garraway and Sean Fletcher when he let slip that he has an obsession with the cleaning apparatus.
Kate said: “I’m assuming you don’t do the glitter in your house, it is devilish to get out.”
Ben replied: “Me personally, no.”
Sean the quipped: “Do you do anything in your household?”
To which the 42-year-old hunk explained: “I tend to avoid as much as I can but I do the tidying up. Endless vacuuming. It is spotless Sean, in ship shape.”
Kate scoffed: “I don’t believe that for a second. You wouldn’t know where the vacuum cleaner was.”
But Ben wasn’t impressed with her comment and went on to reveal how many hoovers her has because he likes to scatter then around the house so that he can grab them easily.
Ben – who has sons Jack, 12, and Sam, 10, with his wife Annie Perks – said: “As you well know Garraway, I have a collection of vacuum cleaners.
“I think it is always important to have the right tools for your job. Do you have a vacuum cleaner which is good for wooden floors or for carpets, for the stairs or for curtains?”
Kate joked: “It has been a long time coming, about 20 years but finally… that is the weirdest thing I have ever heard.”
