David Ayer wanted The Joker as main Suicide Squad villain

OHMYGOSSIP — David Ayer wanted The Joker as the main baddie in ‘Suicide Squad’.
The 49-year-old filmmaker helmed the villain-centred DC Extended Universe movie which starred Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto, who took on the role of Gotham City’s Clown Prince of Crime.
But despite the film seeing the antiheroes going against the Enchantress (played by Cara Delevingne), Ayer wished Batman’s arch nemesis was the “main bad guy” for the mercenary squad to battle.
He posted on Twitter: “Believe me. I agonize over this. Yes. Joke should have been main bad guy. (sic)”
Although a sequel is in the works, Ayer stepped away from the movie to focus on ‘Gotham City Sirens’ but admitted he could have done things “a little different” to make the first film even more of a success than it was at the box office.
He continued: “Yeah it was a big fun silly movie. It could have been a bigger success had I done it a little different. But it did great and made an impression. (sic)”
Gavin O’Connor, 53, has now stepped up to the job of helming the DCEU sequel after Jaume Collet-Serra pulled out.
Mel Gibson was previously linked with the vacant director’s chair, but has quashed the speculation.
Other filmmakers in the running to helm the sequel included Jonathan Levine, Daniel Espinosa and Ruben Fleischer, who has since took over directing ‘Venom’ for Sony Pictures.
Joel Kinnaman admitted he “definitely” wants to return to the franchise as Special Forces operative Rick Flag, and confirmed work is currently underway on a script, with shooting expected to commence “sometime” in 2018.
Though he hasn’t seen a plot for the film yet, Kinnaman, 38, knows what he’d like to see his character get up to in the sequel with the team of supervillains, which includes Harley Quinn (Robbie), Deadshot (Smith) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney).

Susan Sarandon got Hollywood age warning

OHMYGOSSIP — Susan Sarandon was told she wouldn’t work past 40.
The 71-year-old Hollywood legend’s filmography contains iconic performances in movies such as ‘Thelma and Louise’, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Enchanted’, but when she started out she was told not to have children if she wanted a successful career and to make the most of her castings before she hit the landmark age.
Sarandon – whose movies in recent years include parts in ‘A Bad Moms Christmas’, ‘The Calling’ and ‘Arbitrage’ – said: “I remember another really famous actress saying to me, ‘Well, don’t have children because that’ll really change the parts that you’ll be available for. And you won’t work past 40 anyway.’ And a lot of that has changed. And a lot of women are assessing how they feel; were they victimised or did they feel it was their own choice?”
Sarandon went on to have three children – Eva Amurri, 32, with ex-partner Franco Amurri, and two sons Jack and Miles Robbins with former husband Tim Robbins.
The Hollywood legend has been nominated for four Oscars and won the Best Actress Academy Award back in 1996 for her performance in ‘Dead Man Walking’ and is still working now and can currently be seen alongside Jessica Lange in new HBO series ‘Feud’.
Sarandon insists the interesting roles for older women and actresses will only increase because of the amount females now directing and producing small screen and cinema projects.
She said: “More and more women are able to greenlight their own projects. My last few films have had women directors – they’re not the big blockbusters, but I’m not sure those big blockbusters are very interesting to direct. But there is definitely more power in the hands of women than there was – the Reese Witherspoons, who are getting books, putting together projects, telling women’s stories. I think that’s where the difference is.”

Elisabeth Shue shocked by Karate Kid’s cultural impact

OHMYGOSSIP — Elisabeth Shue never thought ‘The Karate Kid’ would become a “culturally important” movie.
The 54-year-old actress made her film debut as Ali Mills, the main love interest to Ralph Macchio’s titular alter ego Daniel LaRusso, in the hit 1984 movie helmed by John D. Avildsen.
When she and Ralph were shooting the film she never imagined that a story about a high school student who uses martial arts to beat his bullies would become a pop culture phenomenon, and Elisabeth was unsure whether Ralph had the necessary skills to successfully depict a karate champion.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Shue said: “Because it was my first movie and I was still pretty starry-eyed about it all. What was so extraordinary about ‘The Karate Kid’ is that I don’t think anyone involved felt like we were making a culturally important 1980s movie. I remember thinking that the title felt pretty insubstantial and I wondered about Ralph Macchio’s karate skills…”
The film follows Daniel (Macchio) who moves to Southern California with his mother, Lucille (Randee Heller) but quickly becomes the target of a group of bullies who study karate at the Cobra Kai dojo.
However, the young teenager befriends Mister Miyagi (Noriyuki “Pat” Mortia), a repairman who just happens to be a martial arts master himself.
Through his more compassionate form of karate, Daniel learns the skills to prepare him to compete against the Cobra Kai.
‘The Karate Kid’ is considered a cult classic and spawned three follow-up films, ‘The Karate Kid Part II’, ‘The Karate Kid Part III’ and ‘The Next Karate Kid’, which starred Hilary Swank as Mister Miyagi’s new protege.
The original movie was also rebooted in 2010 with Jaden Smith playing student Dre Parker opposite Jackie Chan as his martial arts teacher Mr. Han.

Edward James Olmos cried over Coco

OHMYGOSSIP — Edward James Olmos was left “in heaving sobs” after reading the script for new Disney movie ‘Coco’.
The 70-year-old ‘Blade Runner’ star voices Chicharrón in the new animation alongside Gael Garcia Bernal, and Olmos revealed he got very emotional while recording his parts because the story made him think about his grandmother.
Speaking to Collider, Olmos said: “They [Disney] came to me and invited me to Pixar, where they literally wined and dined me at their studio, and then they told me about the story. They didn’t tell me everything about it and what the twists were, which I’m very grateful for. That way, I was caught just like everybody else. I remember sitting there in heaving sobs, thinking about my own grandmother, my own relatives and those that have gone already.
“Emotionally, it was just like, ‘wow!’ The whole idea was achieved and attained. My character, which I was very proud of playing, is in one scene, but people who see the movie understand the depths of what we’re talking about, in that moment.
“If no one thinks about you anymore or remembers you, you disappear and vanish. I hadn’t thought about my grandparents in a while, but I started to think about the stories that I could tell about my life with them and what I remember.
“My father is gone and my mother is 91, and we already tell stories about her. It’s fun!”
The new film – directed by Lee Unkrich – follows young Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) who, despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, dreams of becoming an accomplished musician.
Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colourful Land of the Dead and after meeting a charming trickster named Hector (Bernal), the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind his family’s history.
However, Miguel has to be restored to the Land of the Living before sunrise, or he will become one of the dead.

Denis Villeneuve: I couldn’t work with Ridley Scott on set

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Blade Runner 2049’ director Denis Villeneuve had to ask Ridley Scott to leave the film set – because he couldn’t work under the pressure of being watched by his hero.
The ‘Arrival’ director and Scott – who helmed the original ‘Blade Runner’ movie in 1982 – worked closely on the script of the sequel starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling, but he helmed it alone.
Denis told Deadline: “He came on set one day and after a few minutes standing behind me it was unbearable.
“I made a joke, I asked him, ‘Hey Ridley – who is your favourite director?’ And he said, ‘I love Kubrick and Bergman.’
“‘So Ridley, how [would] you feel if you were on set and you had Bergman just behind you?’
“And he burst out laughing and he walked off the set.
“Because I was trying to direct Harrison Ford and I was like, ‘No, it doesn’t work.'”
Denis told how the award-winning ‘Gladiator’ director promised to leave him to helm on his own, which he admitted was a “gift”.
He explained: “He was there a lot, and not a lot, for the best.
“He was there a lot because I was dealing with the screenplay – I was dealing with his ideas, his universe, his characters – so I was thinking about Ridley all the time. I had a responsibility to honour the legacy of the original movie.
“Now he told me right at the start he would give me all the space, all the freedom, that it would be my responsibility, and that if I needed him he would be at the other end of the line. But otherwise I would be alone. And that for me was the best gift I could receive, because I would never have been able to work with Ridley behind me.”

Valerian 2 will be ‘less expensive’ than first film

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Valerian 2’ will be “less expensive” than the first movie.
Director Luc Besson has revealed the follow-up film to ‘Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets’ would not cost as much to make as the first motion picture in the franchise because the story is “different”, but a third project would see the price shoot back up.
He said: “The price depends on the story. The story of the second one is less expensive. The third one is almost the same than the first. But it depends on the story, the price doesn’t go up because you want to. It depends of what you’re saying. But the second one is less expensive.
“It’s pretty less, the story’s different so … and there’s some elements that you can use that we have in the first one and then we have the knowledge now.”
While scripts for a second and third ‘Valerian’ are thought to have been written, it’s not 100 per cent confirmed a sequel will be made, but Besson admitted he is hoping there is a positive reaction from the DVD/Blu-ray release because he is keen to work on a follow up.
He added to Collider: “So let’s see how it’s working, let’s see how the thing … but if it goes normally then, yeah, I want to do the number two for sure.”
In August, Besson admitted he would love to make a sequel to the first film with Cara Delevingne and Dan DeHaan reprising their roles.
Asked if he’d make another ‘Valerian’ film, he said: “Yeah, I will sign tomorrow. I would love to. We had so much fun with Cara and Dane. I think the three of us will sign tomorrow if we can do another one or two.
“Because they’re cops, every film is an adventure. There’s a problem, there’s a killer, there’s something we have to discover the truth and you can do 20 films like this, it’s like ‘Starsky and Hutch’ in space.
“Every episode is a new trial. And you’re not linked by the first one, the link is just the two characters, so it could be totally different. It’s more difficult when you have something like ‘Spider-Man’ or ‘Transformers’, as it’s always the same kind of thing, and you can’t explode the thing. Here you can. You can do something totally different, which I like.”

Ashleigh Butler wishes pet pooch Pudsey could’ve retired

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashleigh Butler regrets not allowing her talented pet pooch Pudsey to enjoy retirement before his sudden death.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner was left devastated over the summer when the adorable Bichon Frise-cross with Border Collie and Chinese Crested powderpuff sadly died following a four-day illness at the age of 11 and has admitted her biggest regret is not giving her furry friend the chance to “get fat, eat and sleep” before his passing.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Monday (27.11.17), she said: “That’s the hard thing for me. I always wanted Pudsey to have a retirement so he had chance to be an old man. So he would get fat, and eat and sleep and everything. For me, everything he had done for not just me but for everyone, and promoting canine freestyle, I think that’s what he deserved. For me, it was the hardest thing he didn’t get that.”
Ashleigh’s other dog Sullivan, known as Sully, has been performing with her since Pudsey’s death and, although the two mutts had been like “brothers”, she’ll never be able to replace the canine, who became a household name in 2012 when he won the talent show and performed at the Royal Variety Performance later that year.
She said previously: “Sully will stay as Sully. I can’t change him into Pudsey. He grew up with Pudsey. Sully really looked up to him.”
Ashleigh announced Pudsey had passed away on her Instagram account in July.
Posting a collection of photos of the pair together, she wrote at the time: “I can’t honestly believe I am writing these words. My handsome man has gone, and I don’t know what to do without him.
“My heart is broken, and I don’t know how I’m going to get through this. It hurts so much, that my handsome, incredible Pudsey Bear will never be by my side, where he belongs, again.
“We only had 11 years together, but they were the best years ever. He was my one in a billion dog that will never be replaced. I don’t need to write all of his endless accomplishments on here to prove how incredible he was for me.
“Sleep tight my handsome man, I love you lots xxxx (sic)”

Jon Clark begging Lauren Pope to take him back

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon Clark has reportedly been begging his ex-girlfriend Lauren Pope to take him back.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star only split from his on/off partner Chloe Crowhurst just a few days ago but it doesn’t look like he’s heartbroken over their separation as he has reportedly been telling everyone that he wants to get back with the businesswoman.
A source told The Sun Online: “When the cast were filming the ‘TOWIE’ Christmas special last week, Jon was telling anyone who’d listen that he wants to date Lauren again. He’s realising that he had a good thing with her, and it was a mistake to split up with her. He’s begged her to reconsider things – but she’s not interested.
“Everyone was saying he needs to make more of an effort to win her over, as she’s not going to give him another chance just like that. She can’t trust him and she’s over him, basically. He embarrassed her by splitting up with her on national TV.
“Lauren was gutted when he did that, and then he moved on with his ex [Chloe Crowhurst] really quickly. She doesn’t see how there’s any way back for them.”
Jon struck up a romance with Lauren over the summer but their relationship was plagued with constant break up and make ups because he had been messaging Chloe – who he was dating earlier this year – behind her back for weeks on end.
Lauren’s friends – including Chloe Sims and Gemma Collins – tried to tell her to stay away from Jon but, ultimately, he was the one that ended things – on camera.
The insider added: “I think he’s realising that Lauren is amazing – but it’s too late.”

Sharon Osbourne predicts success for X Factor act Grace Davies

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne thinks her ‘X Factor’ finalist Grace Davies will go on to be successful whether she wins the show or not.
The 65-year-old judge has mentored the Girls category this year and her remaining act Grace, 20, will battle boy band Rak-Su and Overs artist Kevin Davy White to be crowned the 2017 champion this weekend.
Grace has wowed the viewers and the judging panel – also comprised of Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh – by performing her own songs on the live shows and Sharon is sure she’s going to be a big star in the music business.
Sharon joined the ‘Loose Women’ panel on Monday (27.11.17) alongside Ruth Langsford, Jane Moore and Coleen Nolan who all predicted that Grace is going to do well.
Sharon replied: “I agree with that. She’s gonna perform superbly I know that … And she’s so talented. I mean she’s got, honestly, when people say they have hundreds of songs written she really has and she will keep sending me all these different songs and I’m like ‘Where do they come from?’ ”
Sharon also revealed that Grace is going to sing more of her own tracks this weekend and one classic track to try and win the public’s votes.
She said: “She’s going to do three of her own songs and a classic one and the competition is really tough. When you see someone that you believe in so much and then other people agree with you, it’s a great feeling, it really is. It really honestly blows me away when I see these young kids going up there, they have never performed in front of the huge audience before, usually they have done, you know, working men’s clubs or pubs. So there they are in front of the camera singing live and I’m like how do you have the courage to go out and do it. I’m amazed by it.”

Ferne McCann names baby after skin cleanser

OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne McCann named her baby after a skin cleanser.
The former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star gave birth to her daughter Sunday four weeks ago, and she revealed she had come up with her name very early in her pregnancy.
She said: “I decided Sunday would be my girl’s name really early on in my pregnancy.
“It came to me after my make-up artist recommended a cleanser to me by a brand called Sunday Riley. I thought it had a really nice ring to it and the more I thought about it, the more I loved it. I wanted something unique but not too weird. I know that not everyone is going to love it but I’ve had a great response from people so far.”
However, Ferne has had a hard time settling on a middle name for Sunday, whose father is her jailed former boyfriend Arthur Collins.
She said: “I felt quite certain that her middle name would be Sky, but then I told a friend who didn’t like it and now I’m not sure. I definitely want her middle name to be one syllable and to begin with an S because I like the alliteration.”
Ferne admitted she has had a “horrendous” time over the last few months after Arthur was accused, and subsequently found guilty of, an acid attack in a nightclub early in her pregnancy, and she doesn’t think she’ll ever truly come to terms with what happened.
She told OK! magazine: “It’s been a really emotional time.
“It’s been horrendous and very difficult to come to terms with and I probably never will.
“I was in shock for a long time. The past six months have been hell but I’m not the victim in this and I’m certainly not looking for sympathy.”

I’m A Celebrity camp mates have 24-hour access to psychological support

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ camp mates have “24-hour access” to medical and psychological support.
Iain Lee sparked concerns for his welfare after he broke down in tears and had to be given oxygen by medics after he pulled out of the underwater trial the Temple of Gloom over the weekend, but bosses of the ITV show are adamant none of the contestants are in danger because they’re being watched by professionals and can speak to them whenever they need to.
An ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ spokesman told MailOnline: “The safety and well-being of all of our camp mates is our number one priority. All camp mates have 24 hour access to both medical and psychological support during their stay in camp.”
A show insider added: “We won’t comment on individual cases, but we have a specialist team who are familiar with the challenges that life in the jungle presents and constantly monitor all of the camp mates’ behaviour at all times.
“In addition to the support that the team give Iain, he was roundly supported by his fellow camp mates after his trial.”
The 44-year-old comedian – who has been very open about his battle with depression – was rumoured to be on the brink of a breakdown after the trial but his management team are adamant the reports are “nonsense” and he’s a “champion.”
A source told The Sun Online: “The producers have already confirmed that specialists are on hand for ALL celebrities. This is standard practice for shows such as ‘I’m a Celebrity’, ‘Big Brother’ or ‘The Island’. The idea that they are there purely for Iain is nonsense. The idea that he is on the brink of a breakdown is nonsense.
“Iain is a champion for more open discussion about mental health and he has shown that already in camp.”

Tracy Beaker creator Jacqueline Wilson honoured for career at Children’s BAFTAs

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Tracy Beaker’ creator Dame Jacqueline Wilson received the Special Award at the British Academy Children’s Awards in London on Sunday night (26.11.17) for her outstanding contribution to kids’ entertainment.
The 71-year-old writer was presented with her prize at the ceremony held at The Roundhouse in London by former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Michelle Collins – who portrayed the titular mother Marigold Westward in the TV adaptation of Wilson’s novel ‘The Illustrated Mum’.
Wilson’s ‘The Story of Tracy Beaker’ book and its three sequels has been adapted into four CBBC television series: ‘The Story of Tracy Beaker’, ‘Tracy Beaker Returns’, ‘The Dumping Ground’ and ‘The Tracy Beaker Survival Files’, with Dani Harmer portraying the titular character who lives at a care home known as ‘The Dumping Ground’.
Wilson is still actively writing but she admits that the modern world and social media is making children’s lives more complicated than ever.
She said: “Girls worry even more now about how they look and there’s an expectation that there wasn’t 20 years ago. Look cool with shiny hair and be bright and chirpy and popular with girls – and boys!
“It’s a bit of a challenge to be a young person now. I still get lots of letters and emails and people have the same issues – but children feel more worried than they used to.”
Other winners on the night included ‘Bear Grylls’ Survival School’ which was named the top show in the Entertainment category, ‘Hey Duggee’ which was recognised as the best Pre-School Animation and Maddie Moate who was victorious in the Presenter category, winning her first BAFTA for her work on CBeebies show ‘Do You Know?’.
Online education channel TrueTube was the biggest success of the night taking home four awards, including the prestigious Channel Of The Year prize, which is the first time the accolade that has gone to an internet-only channel.
The Children’s BAFTAs was hosted by actor-and-rapper Doc Brown – who starred in ‘David Brent: Life on the Road’ – and presenters on the night included Peter Andre, Hugh Dennis, Rochelle Humes, Pixie Lott, Matt Baker, Angellica Bell and Jordan Banjo.

Stephanie Pratt and Jonny Mitchell get own show

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Pratt and Jonny Mitchell are set to get their own television show.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ beauty has been dating the ‘Love Island’ hunk since the summer but it looks like things are hotting up between them thick and fast as they’ve been approached by producers about letting the cameras into their lives for a new series.
Speaking to the Daily Star Online, Jonny said: “I’m really excited about getting back on TV. The show will be really cool because we’ll be in LA, London and Essex.
“I always said I’d do more TV if it was something classy and beneficial to me.
“And now we have this. It will be following our lifestyle, which will be great because we’ve got a lot going on at the moment. Steph gives me loads of advice.
“She tells me if I’m doing something that could be taken the wrong way.
“It will be great to do this project together.”
Jonny made a name for himself as a love rat over the summer when he took part in the dating show but he’s adamant his mentality has changed since he met Stephanie, 31.
He added: “There isn’t a power struggle with us – she does her thing and I do mine. It will be nice to work together. I still feel like I’m going to wake up every five minutes because I’m dating Stephanie Pratt.”
Meanwhile, as well as their own show, the 26-year-old star is hoping to meet Stephanie’s family over the next few weeks and spend Christmas with them.
He explained: “Maybe, yeah, haven’t discussed, I don’t know, it’s never come up but I mean probably, if we are together we’ll probably be with each other for Christmas.”

Lauren Goodger to have baby next year

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Goodger wants to have a baby next year.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star decided to call time on her relationship with her jailbird beau Joey Morrison over the summer after his prison sentence was extended but, although she’s very much single at the moment, she’s desperate to have a family.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “I don’t have a love life right now. I just want to move on and make 2018 a fresh start for me. I want to have a baby next year. I don’t care about the man now. I just know that I will have a baby. That’s all I care about more than the man. Don’t get me wrong, I won’t just have a baby with anyone. I want to focus on me, and when the time is right I will meet someone. Becoming a mum is more of a prioroty but if I meet someone I fancy, then great. People always say I’m attracted to the bad boy and I suppose they are right. The guys I go for are always a bit mean looking, aren’t they? They are pretty boys but with a mean look. Every relationship I’ve had has been the same, that Essex boy stereotype. I would be a great mum.”
Lauren hasn’t had the most successful love life over the years as she was left heartbroken in 2012 when her ex-fiance Mark Wright ended their on/off 10-year relationship for good and, in turn, married ‘Our Girl’ actress Michelle Keegan.
Lauren said: “It’s so annoying that even after all these years I’m still asked about Mark! People still seem to be so fascinated with that relationship and I understand that we were together on a reality show but that ship sailed for both us a long time ago. There is no love there, no hate, it’s part of my past and that’s it!
“If I saw either [Mark and Michelle] in Essex I would be amicable. ‘TOWIE’ is like a family, we all came up together in the same job and I am still friends with everyone from the first series. There’s no bad blood and we all still speak to each other.”

Kem Cetinay is on a booze ban for Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Kem Cetinay is on a booze ban over the festive period.
The ‘Love Island’ winner is set to hit the rink at the beginning of next year for ‘Dancing on Ice’ reboot but, in order to make sure he’s on top form for his debut, he’s decided to go on a detox and won’t be knocking back any alcohol beverages of Christmas.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: “I’m on a proper detox. I’m back in training, so no drink for me. Amber [Davies, his girlfriend] is helping me stretch. I’m going to yoga lessons as well to help me.”
The 21-year-old hunk hasn’t had much luck with training thus far as his professional partner Meg Marschall quit the show, meaning he’s now having to build a new bond with a replacement, and he’s suffered a nasty fall in which he smashed his head.
He said recently: “I have had quite a few falls in training – I fell on the ice and cracked my head which was pretty scary but luckily I was checked and all OK.”
Kem has admitted he was “really down” during his first month of training for the show as he didn’t feel he was progressing as quickly as the other celebrities, but now that he’s finally had the training penguin taken away from him, he’s feeling more confident.
He explained: “I was really down the first month because I was so behind everyone else. My trainer said I was the least natural out of everyone on the show this year. All the other contestants have been coming down and watching me and saying they are better than me, too. But in the last week, I feel I have turned a corner because I have turned a corner because I have had the training penguin taken away from me.”
‘Dancing on Ice’ will return to ITV in January.

Lauren Goodger wants to sex up I’m A Celebrity… jungle

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Goodger thinks ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ bosses need to send her into the jungle because the camp needs “sexing up” with a “glamour girl.”
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star is desperate to replace Jack Maynard – who was pulled out of the competition last week following a number of controversial allegation – and, although she doesn’t think producers will go for her because she’s already taken part in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in the past, she is convinced the show needs someone like her.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “The show is missing that reality girl with attitude this year. Get me in there! I would love every second, they need someone like me in there. ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ is one of my favourite shows. I am such a fan and I praise anyone brave enough to go in there. You have to test your own strength. Sexy glamour is what the show needs. I would be brilliant TV because it’s always the characters who wear their hearts on their sleeves who you remember.”
And the 31-year-old beauty is adamant she’d have no trouble scoffing a spider but would freak if she was made to spend a prolonged period of time underground.
She explained: “I would eat the spider like Ferne [McCann, from 2015’s series]. It wouldn’t be easy and I would struggle but I am sure I could push myself.
“The eating challenge would be better than the other tasks but I would be sick. I would struggle more with being trapped underground I think.
“Even though she wasn’t in there very long Gemma Collins was so memorable because of her struggles. I think Gemma is hilarious, she’s crackers.”
