Dave Franco cannot play someone his own age

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Franco always gets asked why he doesn’t play characters closer to his real age.
Since his breakout role in ’21 Jump Street’ the 32-year-old actor has been typecasted as playing characters he described as “three dimensional assholes” – including in ‘Bad Neighbors’ and ‘Now You See Me’ – but he’s never played a character close to his own age.
But the baby-faced actor admitted it isn’t his choice and claimed people won’t believe me as a “32-year-old man on screen yet”.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Franco said: “People ask me why I don’t play characters closer to my own age. Trust me, it’s not my decision. People just won’t believe me as a 32-year-old man on screen yet!”
Now, Franco is starring as actor Greg Sestero alongside his brother, James, in the new movie ‘The Disaster Artist’ which follows the making of ‘The Room’ – directed by and starring Tommy Wiseau – which has been dubbed the worst movie ever made but the movie itself has gained a cult following.
James, 39, both stars and directed the movie and Dave claimed his brother was the “happiest” he had ever seen him when he was behind the camera”.
Dave said: “James was the happiest I have ever seen him behind the camera.
“He’s like a little kid and on set he is actually very relaxed, where I am a little more ‘type A’.
“I get very perfectionist and James didn’t realise that. I need to stop being such a perfectionist because it does stress me out.”
‘The Disaster Artist’ has an all-star cast including Seth Rogen, a regular star in Franco movies, Bryan Cranston, Zac Efron, Nathan Fielder, Ari Graynor, Josh Hutcherson, Paul Scheer, Sharon Stone and Hannibal Buress.

Jessica Chastain praises Al Pacino for her acting success

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Chastain says Al Pacino “changed” her as an actress.
The 40-year-old actress first worked with the 77-year-old movie legend in 2011 on the drama movie ‘Wild Salome’, which Pacino also directed, and Chastain has hailed the moment the pair joined forces as the turning point in her career.
Speaking to ES magazine, the flame-haired beauty – who portrayed Salome in the production – said: “That was the moment for me. All the film people in LA wanted to see Al Pacino on stage, and oh, who’s this girl that no one’s ever heard of?’
“He changed me as an actor”.
And the ‘Miss Sloane’ star has likened her partnership with the ‘Scarface’ star as a “student-teacher relationship”, because the pair enjoyed a friendship but Pacino also helped to mentor her.
She continued: “My film work is because of his friendship and mentorship – that student-teacher relationship.
“He taught me how the camera is connected to your soul. Whatever you’re feeling, the camera sees.”
And Chastain has revealed she still keeps in touch with Pacino, who she has admitted is a “big texter” and enjoys using emoticons in his messages to her.
She said: “And yeah, we’re still friends. He’s a big texter. Loves emojis.”
And in the wake of sexual assault allegations made against filmmakers, including Harvey Weinstein, Chastain does not want people to tarnish other creative mastermind’s with the same brush, as she believes there are “some amazing men” who want to make the industry a “better” and safer place, including Pacino.
She said: “‘The Tree of Life’ it was huge – personally, emotionally, spiritually. And that’s what gets forgotten with all this Weinstein stuff. There are some amazing men who are trying to make things better. Al Pacino was a great mentor and protector. Terrence [Malick, ‘The Tree of Life’ director] was like a spiritual guide. John Madden [the director of ‘Miss Sloane’] too.
“I just want to acknowledge the good guys. Got to try to find the positive.”

James Franco ‘only’ worked for two weeks this year

OHMYGOSSIP — James Franco “only” worked for two weeks this year.
The 39-year-old actor has over 50 acting credits to his name, has directed productions, written screenplays, published a book of short stories, and worked as a lecturer teaching film making, among other numerous projects, but despite his achievements he has claimed he has been taking it easy this year.
The dark-haired hunk told Variety: “I have stopped. I only worked as an actor for two weeks this whole year, in a Coen Brothers film.”
But James – who directs and stars in new comedy ‘The Disaster Artist’ – does not regret taking on so many projects in the past because he wanted to try everything.
He explained: “I’ve been looking back on that a lot and going, ‘Why was I doing that?’ I was generally just doing things I was interested in.
“At some point maybe eight or 10 years ago I just flipped this switch and said, ‘You know what? Maybe this is the only life I have. I don’t want to follow any sort of tacit understanding of what a career looks like in this business so I’ll just try a lot of things.’ I tried to take them as seriously as possible. I went to school and tried to not just be a moonlighter. And I think the good of that period of just doing way too much is I got a lot of experience. I had learned early in my career, just from working so hard at acting and having that pay off, that you do have to go through a certain amount of paces. You’ve got to work at it.”
James’ upcoming movie, which he produced, directed and stars in alongside his brother Dave Franco, is a dramatisation of the making of Tommy Wiseau’s 2003 cult movie ‘The Room’.
James and Dave also star alongside Seth Rogen, Bryan Cranston, Zac Efron, Nathan Fielder, Ari Graynor, Josh Hutcherson, Paul Scheer, Sharon Stone and Hannibal Buress in the American biographical comedy-drama.

Rak-Su to perform 2 of own songs in X Factor final

OHMYGOSSIP — Rak-Su will perform two of their own songs in this weekend’s ‘X Factor final.
The four-piece – who are the current favourites to win the show – are relying on two of their own tracks – ‘Mamacita’ and ‘Dimelo’ – to win over the public and bag them the votes when they head-to-head with Grace Davies and Kevin Davey-White.
Grace, on the other hand, will be belting out lyrics to ‘Live and Let Die’ by Wings, as well as her own song ‘Roots’, while Kevin has chosen to cover ‘Whole Lotta Love’ by Led Zeppelin and ‘Fastlove Pt. 1’ by the late, great, George Michael.
Rak-Su have spent the past three months living together and, as the end nears, tension has been high in the house, so much so that they’ve been forced to kick Mustafa out of their room because they can’t put up with his snoring anymore.
The hunk, who is in the band with Ashley, Jamaal and Myles, told the Mirror Online: “I had to go find somewhere else to sleep. Ashley started crying basically…”
Ashley added: “I slept downstairs one night, I was like, ‘I need to go.’ ”
And it’s not just his snoring that is irritating the lads as Myles has admitted Ashley just has to yawn sometimes and he loses his temper.
He explained: “We’ve known each other for 16 years and we’ll wake up in the morning and moan at each other for the sake of moaning. Ashley will yawn and I’ll moan at him.
“We bicker but we’re best mates, we’ve done it from day one together so nothing changes now just because we’re on ‘The X Factor’.”
Ashley added: “We’ve developed this weird skill that we can argue about something and it will get heated and it will never get personal.
“We’ll argue about that specific thing, and then it’s sorted and that’s it.”

Simon Cowell wants to bring celebrity X Factor back

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell wants to bring the celebrity version of ‘The X Factor’ back.
The 58-year-old music mogul would love to do a repeat of ‘The X Factor: Battle of the Stars’ – which aired across eight episodes in 2006 – and has already got his first recruit.
In an interview with Alison Hammond on ‘This Morning’, Simon promised the television presenter a spot on the show.
He said: “Remember the celebrity ‘X Factor’, I would do it again so we’re in!”
In a bid to win herself a place on the show, Alison belted out a song but it did little to convince Simon to bring it back.
He joked: “We’ll hold it a few years.”
However, Simon may have difficultly getting people to star on the show as he sometimes even finds it difficult to get anyone to judge on the show.
He added: “Some years, this is true, we can’t get anyone to do the show.”
The ‘X Factor’ final takes place this weekend and Simon is torn between who will win the show, insisting he has “no idea” who out of Rak-Su, Grace Davies and Kevin Davy White will go on to triumph on the show.
He said: “I think we’ve got three people that could win and should win so it feels as exciting as we’ve done before. I genuinely don’t know what is going to happen.”
Meanwhile, fellow judge Sharon Osbourne previously revealed that she think her ‘X Factor’ finalist Grace will go on to be successful whether she wins the show or not.
She said: “I agree with that. She’s gonna perform superbly I know that … And she’s so talented. I mean she’s got, honestly, when people say they have hundreds of songs written she really has and she will keep sending me all these different songs and I’m like ‘Where do they come from?'”

Andrea McLean’s intimate wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrea McLean’s wedding was a “very intimate” affair.
The ‘Loose Women’ presenter tied the knot with Nick Feeney on Thursday night (30.11.17) and was joined by her co-presenters, including Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams, Linda Robson and Stacey Solomon, who spilled all the details about the big day.
Speaking on Friday’s (01.12.17) edition of ‘Loose Women’, Nadia revealed: “It was a very intimate and beautiful reception. Look at her!”
And Linda added: “It was amazing, we had such a nice night!”
Kaye couldn’t believe how much like a “fairytale princess” Andrea looked.
She shared: “She looked like a fairytale princess. When she walked in, it was such a moment. They were all dancing, the whole family was there. She looked liked a film star.”
And Stacey added: “The smile didn’t come off her face. It was almost like it was pulled by strings.”
However, Andrea nearly suffered an awkward moment at her wedding when she almost popped out of her dress whilst cutting the cake.
Watching back the video of the night, Linda said: “She nearly popped out [of her dress] cutting the cake!”
And Kaye joked: “She nearly was a loose woman!”
Andrea shared a sweet post on social media ahead of the wedding, where she gushed about her husband-to-be.
She wrote: “The best day of our lives has begun. I’m so happy that from today Nick and I will be walking through life hand in hand, side by side. I didn’t dare hope that I would find love again when all seemed lost, and the world felt dark and sad… but four years ago today I reluctantly went on a blind date and the man who would change my life forever kissed my cheek and whispered “I’m so nervous” in my ear. “So am I” I whispered back.
“In four years we have talked, listened, laughed and learned to love again. My broken heart is not only fixed, it is filled to bursting. I have learned that love in middle age comes with so much more… the past isn’t left behind, it travels with you, and teaches you what you don’t want as much as what you do. It brings baggage, history and scars, but over time it becomes something stronger and more solid because of all of that. I dared to dream, and today my dreams are coming true. I love you @lordfeeney #weddingday #truelove #happilyeverafter #dreamsdocometrue (sic)”

Mary Berry: Paul Hollywood’s ‘quite sexy’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mary Berry thinks Paul Hollywood is “quite sexy”.
The former ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge has joked that her former co-star is quite good looking but said not to tell him or it’d give him an ego boost.
Asked if he was as “sexy as he looks”, Mary quipped whilst attending an event in London: “I think you should be the judge of that” … He is quite sexy, but for goodness sake don’t tell him.”
It comes after Paul claimed Mary “abandoned” the ‘Great British Bake Off’, when she chose not to move with the show when it was snatched from the BBC by Channel 4.
He said: “The girls abandoned it. But I was the one put under siege. I became the most hated man in the country! It’s not fun for someone that doesn’t like being in the limelight. I didn’t set out to be on the telly, I set out to be a good baker. And I didn’t want this.
“There are people who can’t get past channel one, the older generation, who don’t understand how that works. They only flick a couple of buttons and it takes three clicks to watch Channel 4.”
However, Mary – who was replaced on the popular baking show by Prue Leith – insists the revamped version of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ is “brilliant”.
She shared: “I have looked at it yes, and I have to say it’s a wonderful format. It’s a wonderful creation that programme, and it’s followed the same lines. It continues to be brilliant.
“I was with it seven years and I loved it but I’ve gone on to pastures new and Prue Leith – she knows her stuff – and she and Paul will continue to be brilliant judges. I have spoken to Prue, I wished her well and she said she’s thoroughly enjoying it and who wouldn’t? It’s a wonderful job.”

Gemma Atkinson piles on weight on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Atkinson has piled on 14lbs since taking part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 33-year-old actress – who has always been into health and fitness – has shot up to 11.8 stone since the start of September because she’s been scoffing cakes, chocolates, doughnuts and pizzas after training for the ballroom and latin show.
She’s quoted by The Sun newspaper, she said: “Since ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ started both my training and my diet especially, have been neglected.
“I’d be lying if I said a part of me isn’t enjoying the daily cakes, doughnuts, pizzas and chocolates but I’d also be lying if I said I could live on them daily long term. It pretty much puts me at the bottom of the pile when it comes to looking and feeling my best.”
Since she joined the show, the blonde beauty has been romantically linked to Gorka Marquez – who is partnered with Alexandra Burke – but she’s adamant they’re not dating because she doesn’t have the time to focus on a relationship at the moment.
She said recently: “I think because we all get on, people have to create drama. I know people want to see a ‘Strictly’ romance but I’m not going to be giving you any, I’m afraid, because I’m so focused on my dancing.
“Maybe once the series is over, but not right now … We’ll see what happens [after the show]. I have a big girl crush on Debbie McGee, though. Her body is amazing!”
The former ‘Emmerdale’ star’s sole focus is trying to triumph on the show for both herself and her professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec.
She added: “I’m just focused on getting through week by week, but I would love to win for Aljaž. He is due another win, and I want to win representing the north too.
“We haven’t had one argument. He is like a brother to me and I know I will stay friends with him for ever. I get on really well with his [dancer] wife Janette [Manrara] too.
“I don’t feel guilty about taking her husband away up to Manchester for most of the week because they live and work together, so I think Janette is glad of the break!”

Paul O’Grady doesn’t live with his husband

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul O’Grady doesn’t live with his husband.
The 62-year-old television presenter tied the knot with Andre Portasio earlier this year and says the secret to their successful relationship is not living together.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We’re doing a Helena Bonham Carter and Tim whatshisname [Burton; who never lived together], and it works a treat. It’s the same as before. We see each other all the time. We just don’t live together, which for me makes for a perfect relationship because when you’ve had enough, you can say, ‘I’ll see you, I’m off.’ I’m a bit cranky of a morning. I’m a cobra. I don’t get up, I’m exhumed, and I slither down the stairs looking for trouble. But otherwise I’m fine. [Andre’s] pristine, you know, everything’s tidy – and I’m not.”
And Paul was devastated that his best friend Cilla Black – who passed away in 2015 – missed out on his wedding, which took place at The Goring Hotel in London in August.
He said: “She would be over the moon. It was just such a shame she wasn’t there. She wouldn’t have sung. She would never sing in public. If anyone said, ‘Cilla, give us a song’, she’d say, ‘I can’t, me voice is bad, but Paul will’. She wouldn’t get up at a wedding. She never used to sing in the shower or round the house.”
Paul had never thought about getting married to Andre – who he has been with for over a decade – until Julian Clary suggested it.
He explained: “Julian put the seed in my head. He said, ‘I’ve got married. You should’. And he’s right, then you protect your partner. If anything happens to me, he is protected. It makes sense. Married life is the same as before. We have known each other so long. Nothing has changed, really. And it’s nice. I like saying I’m married – better than saying I’m a divorcee, which I was before. You feel more committed. You have made a vow, you have to stick to it. But we still fight like cat and dog.”

Robbie Williams sends Grace Davies flowers ahead of X Factor final

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams has sent Grace Davies a bouquet of flowers ahead of this weekend’s ‘X Factor’ final.
The 20-year-old aspiring pop star burst into tears last night (30.11.17) after a beautiful bunch of blooms arrived at the contestants’ mansion especially for her from the ‘Candy’ hitmaker as a good luck charm.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’ this morning (01.12.17), she said: “I got some flowers from Robbie Williams last night. I did, yeah. I’m like his biggest fan. I cried. Absolutely cried.”
Asked whether the flowers came with a note, Grace added: “Yeah, it just said: ‘Grace, babe you’re amazing, good luck in the final, Robbie.’ and I was like: ‘stop, stop.’ ”
And, considering they already have a bond, it’s thought a collaboration could be on the cards for them – even if she doesn’t manage to win the singing competition this weekend.
Sharon Osbourne – who is Grace’s mentor – said recently: “She’s gonna perform superbly I know that … And she’s so talented. I mean she’s got, when people say they have hundreds of songs written she really has and she will keep sending me all these different songs and I’m like ‘Where do they come from?’ ”
Sharon also revealed that Grace is going to sing more of her own tracks this weekend and one classic song to try and win the public’s votes to ensure she has the best chance of nabbing the crown.
She said: “She’s going to do three of her own songs and a classic one and the competition is really tough. When you see someone that you believe in so much and then other people agree with you, it’s a great feeling, it really is. It really honestly blows me away when I see these young kids going up there, they have never performed in front of the huge audience before, usually they have done, you know, working men’s clubs or pubs. So there they are in front of the camera singing live and I’m like how do you have the courage to go out and do it. I’m amazed by it.”

Andrea McLean is married

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrea McLean has got married.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist tied the knot with her partner Nick Feeney surrounded by her friends, family and colleagues on Thursday (30.11.17) following four years of dating.
Taking to her Instagram account before she walked down the aisle, she said: “The best day of our lives has begun. I’m so happy that from today Nick and I will be walking through life hand in hand, side by side.
“I didn’t dare hope that I would find love again when all seemed lost, and the world felt dark and sad… but four years ago today I reluctantly went on a blind date and the man who would change my life forever kissed my cheek and whispered “I’m so nervous” in my ear. “So am I” I whispered back.

“I dared to dream, and today my dreams are coming true. I love you @lordfeeney #weddingday #truelove #happilyeverafter #dreamsdocometrue (sic)”
Nick popped the question during a romantic getaway to Paris, France, in August.
The 48-year-old presenter – who split from her first husband Nick Green in 2005 after five years of marriage and 17 years together, and tied the knot with ‘Our House’ presenter Steve Toms in August 2009 before separating from him in December 2011 – was surprised Nick proposed because neither of them had planned to get hitched.
Andrea has children Finlay, 16, and Amy, 11, from her previous marriages.

Jack Maynard ‘broke down’ after I’m A Celebrity… exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Maynard “broke down” in his hotel room after he was booted off ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ when his homophobic and racist tweets resurfaced online.
The 23-year-old vlogger was removed from the famous jungle – 72 hours after he entered – after it emerged that he had propositioned a 14-year-old girl, joked about rape, used a derogatory term and posted gay slurs online when he was a teenager.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said of his departure: “I was very upset. I broke down in the hotel once I’d got out. It all kind of hit me. I was just on my own in the room. My phone had blown up from all mu friends and family getting in touch.”
The YouTube sensation – who is the first internet star to do the show – has admitted his behaviour when he was 16 was “absolutely disgraceful” and even his family hated him.
He explained: “There is absolutely no excuse for what I said. I don’t know what I was thinking in ever posting anything like that. I am truly, truly, sorry about all of the past comments I made. They are totally unacceptable and I’m praying that people learn from this and don’t make the same mistakes that I did! …
“I was just at a really stupid age. even my mum said she hated 16-year-old Jack. That was clearly a horrible person. I’ve just got to carry on growing and learning and hopefully teaching everyone else not to make the same mistakes.”
Jack has revealed he had deleted the disgusting tweets – in which he used the N-word and f***** during an online spat – before he went into the jungle so was shocked when he found out that someone had managed to get hold of them and publish them.
He said: “It was just in the back of my mind, as I’d deleted them.
“I always knew that going on a show like this – the biggest show in the country – that there was always going to be a chance that things would resurface.”
Jack’s exit came off the back of a girl claiming he had asked her to send him nude pictures when he was 16 and she was 14 – but he is adamant he didn’t know her age.
He explained: “I was 16 at the time. I wasn’t aware that she was 14. We had some flirty messages between me and her which got out of hand. What I said to her was disgusting and very, very unfair. I totally do respect all women. Speaking about some of that makes me feel miserable. This isn’t an uncommon conversation for a 16 year old to have, it just got out of hand.”

Debbie McGee is ‘struggling’ in Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee is “struggling” in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ rehearsals.
The 59-year-old competitor has been battling a number of injuries over the last few weeks, which saw her dance through a twisted back muscle during her Blackpool performance, and it is believed the television star is feeling the pressure with the finale on December 16 pending and recently broke down in tears.
Speaking to The Sun Online about Debbie – who was married to the late Paul Daniels – a source said: “Debbie is struggling and it all got too much for her.”
The former magician’s assistant is juggling the popular BBC One show with her own pantomime rehearsals, as well as her injuries, and despite her busy schedule her professional dance partner, Giovanni Pernice, is not “going easy” on her during the training sessions because he is “desperate” to win the glitter ball trophy.
The insider continued: “She’s finding practice increasingly difficult to get through and Giovanni isn’t going easy on her. He’s desperate to win.”
However, the intense rehearsals are taking its toll on Debbie who is left “exhausted”.
The source said: “And [Giovanni] is pushing Debbie but some days she’s exhausted. Perhaps he forgets sometimes that Debbie is a lot older than her competitors.”
Debbie has regularly been visiting a physiotherapist in a bid to ease the pain of her multiple injuries.
Speaking previously, she said: “The samba really pulled the muscles over my hip bones. It actually felt like a tendon had gone over my hip bone, and when I put my weight on my left foot it kept giving way and my leg was buckling.
“I had more physio after Saturday. They gave me ice packs. “I had to go back to the hotel and soak in a bath and put an ice pack on.
“I have got a few bruises.”

Sam Thompson has crush on Gemma Collins

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson has a crush on Gemma Collins.
The 25-year-old reality star is going to be looking for love on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ but he’s more interested in catching the eye of one of the other famous singletons.
Asked who his celebrity crush is, he told OK! magazine: “Gemma Collins. Legitimately. She is so cool. Every time I talk to her, she brings out a smile and I love people like that.”
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star also has his eye on other people on the show – but he doesn’t think he stands a chance next to ‘Love Island’ hunk and fellow hopeful Mike Thalassitis.
Asked if anyone else has caught his eye, he said: “Yes, massively, but Mike is here and he’s an 111 out of 10.
“There’s no competition at all. Literally if he walks in, I’ll walk out.”
Though Sam’s used to having his love life played out on screen, finding a date is very new for him.
He said: “I am [used to being on camera] but I’ve never been on a proper date apart from with some of my old girlfriends but I knew all of them.
“I’ve never just gone up to a random person in a bar and said, ‘Do you want to go for a drink?’ I’m really quite shy and semi-insecure.”
Sam previously admitted he didn’t treat Amelia Lily very well during their brief post-‘Celebrity Big Brother’ romance because he wasn’t over ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson but he now feels he has moved on and is ready to date again.
He said: “I think I’ve come to terms with a lot of stuff. You can beat yourself up, which I have been doing.
“I’ve been on the floor for quite a long time emotionally, but my family and friends said, ‘Pick yourself up and go for it, otherwise you’ll just waste away.’
“Everyone else just gets on with life, and you can only feel bad for so long.
“So here I am – out of my comfort zone.”

Iain Lee immune from first I’m A Celeb elimination

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and Amir Khan managed to win Iain Lee immunity from the first elimination on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The two camp mates were tasked with forming a new secret society called The Fright Club on Thursday’s (30.11.17) episode of the ITV reality show, in which they are trying to win immunity for their fellow camp mates, so they won’t have to face the dreaded first public vote off.
The first opportunity to save a camp mate came during their Bushtucker Trial, ‘Kiosk Keith’s Refreshment Shack’, in which they had to drink a variety of gruesome beverages to win stars which equalled meals for camp.
‘Made In Chelsea’ star Toff’s final drink won immunity for one camp mate, though their identity remained a secret until the pair returned to their temporary new home at second camp Snake Rock.
Once there, Toff and Amir were faced with a wall of eleven portraits, behind which was the face of each of their fellow celebrities.
Each portrait will be unlocked with a key, and after picking a portrait at random, it was revealed they had saved talkRADIO host Iain from elimination.
Toff, 22, said: “He won’t be happy about that he wants to go home.”
Later in the episode, Toff and Amir, 30, were tasked with choosing two camp mates to join them in the secrecy, who would have to stay in Croc Creek and help win immunity for more celebrities.
It didn’t take long for the pair to decide retired footballer Dennis Wise and The Saturdays singer Vanessa White would be the perfect companions to help them on their quest.
Of her recruitment, Vanessa said: “I’m so excited.”
‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ airs daily at 9pm on ITV.

Daisy Ridley won’t play Rey after Star Wars: Episode IX

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley has ruled out returning as Rey after ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’.
The 25-year-old actress first starred as the mysterious Force-wielding orphan in 2015’s ‘The Force Awakens’ and is set to reprise her role this December in ‘The Last Jedi’.
Just recently Rian Johnson – who helmed the eighth movie – was announced to be working on a brand new trilogy separate from the Skywalker saga, but Ridley has said she won’t be carrying on as Rey beyond the three films she is contracted for.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine about her pride at being part of the ‘Star Wars’ universe, Ridley said: “For me, I didn’t really know what I was signing on to. I hadn’t read the script, but from what I could tell, it was really nice people involved, so I was just like, ‘Awesome.’
“Now I think I am even luckier than I knew then, to be part of something that feels so like coming home now. I am really, really excited to do the third thing and round it out because, ultimately, what I was signing on to was three films. So in my head, it’s three films. I think it will feel like the right time to round it out.”
With regards to the new saga, Lucasfilm bosses are looking forward to seeing what “amazing things” Johnson comes up for his fresh trilogy, which will introduce all new characters.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said: “We all loved working with Johnson on ‘The Last Jedi’.
“He’s a creative force, and watching him craft ‘The Last Jedi’ from start to finish was one of the great joys of my career. Rian will do amazing things with the blank canvas of this new trilogy.”
