John Barnes leaves Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barnes has been evicted from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 54-year-old former footballer was one of the housemates who were nominated to face a backdoor eviction from the Channel 5 reality show on Monday’s (22.01.18) episode, and after his fellow housemates chose to send him home, he was quietly evicted from the competition.
John was nominated alongside Ann Widdecombe, Amanda Barrie and Daniel O’Reilly – aka Dapper Laughs – for eviction by the house, and after the two women defeated the males in a Battle of the Sexes, Ann and Amanda chose to boot John from the infamous abode and keep Daniel on the show.
The former sports star wasn’t too disheartened by his eviction though, as when he heard his name called out he simply said: “That’s life.”
Speaking in the diary room after the result was revealed he said: “[I’m[ surprisingly okay because it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly so I haven’t had time for it to sink in.
“But I’m looking forward to seeing my wife and kids. I don’t feel that they don’t like me but they get on better with Dan.
“There’s no hard feelings at all, you could see they were upset, they’re all great people, I’ve had a great time in here.”
As the eviction was done via the backdoor of the property, there was no live studio audience to greet him, and he will have to wait until Tuesday’s (23.01.18) episode to speak to host Emma Willis about his time in the competition.
The shocking backdoor eviction comes just one day before the planned live eviction is set to take place, where yet another celebrity housemate is set to leave the competition.

Emma-Jane Woodhams has given birth

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ star Emma-Jane Woodhams has given birth after a gruelling 52 hour labour.
The reality star – who appeared on the ITV2 reality series in 2016 – has revealed that she has given birth to a baby boy whom she has yet to name, after she endured a “savage” labour which lasted more than two days.
Posting a picture of her new arrival on social media, Emma-Jane wrote: “So… finally after a savage 52 hour labour my baby boy graced the world with his presence. Very healthy 7lb 13oz, natural delivery at 16.12 the best moment of my life. We are both doing very well. Still no name. (sic)”
Emma-Jane fell pregnant to her childhood sweetheart Jordan just five months after her split from her ‘Love Island’ partner Terry Walsh, but it has been reported the couple have since split, as the beauty has stopped featuring him in her Instagram posts, and failed to mention him in her birth announcement.
Previously, the brunette beauty admitted she “couldn’t be happier” with Jordan, as the pair planned the arrival of their baby boy.
She said: “My life has changed constantly over the past four years. Over the past 15 months I have grown up so much, I’ve calmed down more than anyone can imagine and become a strong independent woman.
“Jordan and I could not be happier in our beautiful new house, planning the arrival of our perfect baby boy. Everyone deserves second chances in life as we grow and change and learn, that’s what life is.
“The amazing support and defence you have all put up for me at times is just unbelievable.
“I have to say the biggest thank you to my family who have always stood by me, and from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have defended me on my social media, wished us well or congratulated us.”

Rupert Everett is ‘drawn to the fall of Oscar Wilde’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rupert Everett has always been drawn to “the fall of Oscar Wilde”.
The 58-year-old actor stars as the iconic Irish author in the new movie ‘The Happy Prince’, which details the fall of the ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ author, and he’s admitted to being more interested in that aspect of Wilde’s life rather than his “glorious side”.
Everett – who also writes and directs the film – told The Hollywood Reporter: “I was always less interested in the glorious side of his life and the success. I was always much more drawn to the fall of Oscar Wilde.
“I always found it a very romantic and tragic story. It’s one of the great stories of the end of the 19th Century.
“I think it shows the tragedy of Wilde, his fall through pride. And his foolishness. That’s extremely human.
“And touching. And fascinating. I suppose another thing is that I find some of the [film] portraits of Wilde to be sanitised and I wanted a more warts-and-all portrait of him.”
Wilde was arrested at the peak of his fame and sentenced to two years’ hard labour for “sodomy and gross indecency”, and he subsequently went into a self-imposed exile of bitter poverty in Italy and France.
Everett thinks Wilde was the “beginning of the gay movement” and said his persecution gives him “a lot of strength” to see how far the world has come.
The British star – who revealed he was gay in 1989 – said: “Wilde is the beginning of the gay movement. Homosexuality wasn’t really something that was spoken about, it wasn’t really a word until after Oscar Wilde’s death.
“And the Oscar Wilde-ers. The LGBT movement very much starts with Wilde. I think it’s incredibly pertinent and I think it can only give everybody, anyway it gives me, a lot of strength to see where we’ve come to compared to what happened to him.”

Idris Elba: There’s no such thing as black James Bond

OHMYGOSSIP — Idris Elba insists there’s “no such thing as a black Bond”.
The 45-year-old actor has been linked to taking over the role when Daniel Craig steps down after ‘Bond 25’, and while he would love to see the iconic movie franchise move in a new direction, he doesn’t welcome the push for there to be a black actor star as 007.
Speaking to Variety, Elba said: “There’s no such thing as a black Bond.
“Are we interested in having a Bond character other than being a male? It could be a woman – could be a black woman, could be a white woman – but I think, that character, everybody would like to see it have … do something different with it, why not?
“It’s interesting that the James Bond thing continues to go. I think it’s more about ‘we just want to have a black guy play James Bond’ rather than ‘Idris Elba, the actor, play James Bond’. That’s the part that I’m like ‘ugh, come one’.”
Several other actors have been linked to the role, including Hugh Jackman, Tom Hiddleston, and most recently James Norton.
Meanwhile, James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli recently admitted she would welcome a new James Bond of any sex or race.
The spy thriller franchise’s boss is open to recruiting a black or female star into the leading role as 007, and she insisted that she would prefer to “push the envelope a little bit” when it comes to traditions.
She shared: “These films tend to reflect the times so we always try to push the envelope a little bit. Anything is possible.
“Right now it’s Daniel Craig, and I’m very happy with Daniel Craig, but who knows what the future will bring?”

Richard Linklater doesn’t want to rush fourth Before film

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Linklater doesn’t want to rush a fourth instalment in the ‘Before’ franchise.
The 57-year-old filmmaker helmed the 1995 romantic comedy ‘Before Sunrise’, which spawned a sequel in 2004’s ‘Before Sunset’ and ‘Before Midnight’ in 2013 – all starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as Jesse and Celine respectively.
Although Linklater teased a fourth instalment, the filmmaker has now insisted he likes not knowing where his two characters are in their life and is following his “instincts”.
Linklater explained to the Guardian newspaper: “I just saw Ethan in New York.
“Usually, at the five-year period, we go ‘what if Jesse and Celine…’ We did look at each other – but until we have that great idea, we’re not going to do it just to do it.
“That’s how bad moves get made. Let’s see if Jesse and Celine have anything to say about being 50. We’re just following our instincts. You just feel your way through this s**t.”
The first film follows Jesse (Hawke) who meets student Celine (Delpy) on his way to Vienna and after long conversations, they forge a connection and he convinces her to join him in the city.
Although he has no money for a hotel, they two wander the streets together while he waits for his flight back to America the next day.
The sequel – set nine years later – follows Jesse as he travels around Europe giving readings from his book he wrote about his time in Vienna.
While in Paris, he meets Celine again and, despite being in relationships and Jesse having a son, their strong feelings return.
In the third movie, meanwhile, the couple are on their last night of their Greek holiday and they find themselves reminiscing about their lives and what different choices might have brought.

Sir Peter Jackson to make WWI documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Peter Jackson is set to make a World War I documentary.
The 56-year-old filmmaker – who is best known for directing the ‘The Lord of the Rings’ movies – is going behind the camera again for a new BBC documentary about the war.
Unveiling the project, Jackson and his partners said: “I’ve always been fascinated by the First World War due to my own family history and the centenary felt like a unique opportunity to make a personal contribution to the commemoration.
“I wanted to find a way to bring new life to the stories of ordinary people living through extraordinary times.
“The film will be broadcast on BBC One following a UK wide premiere as part of the BFI London Film Festival in 2018.
“The BBC will accompany the film with a ‘making-of’ documentary with behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with Peter Jackson and an in-depth look at the creative and technical process behind the work.”
The untitled documentary is set to use original, archive footage from London’s Imperial War Museum, as well as archive and audio from the BBC.
In addition to this new documentary, Jackson is also adapting the sci-fi fantasy book ‘Mortal Engines’ by Philip Reeve.
The project has been in the works since 2009, and Universal Pictures have now revealed the hotly-anticipated motion picture is scheduled for release on December 14, 2018.
Jackson co-wrote the script for the movie, and his longtime collaborator Christian Rivers is set to helm the motion picture.
The ‘Lord of the Rings’ filmmaker said: “Christian is one of my closest collaborators. The combination of emotion and jaw-dropping visuals in ‘Mortal Engines’ makes this the perfect movie for his move into feature directing.
“What Christian intends to do with Philip Reeve’s terrific story is going to result in an original and spectacular movie. I wish I could see it tomorrow.”

Meryl Streep thinks Donald Trump would love The Post

OHMYGOSSIP — Meryl Streep thinks US President Donald Trump would love ‘The Post’.
The 68-year-old multi-Academy Award winner was once dubbed the “most overrated actresses in Hollywood” by the President in a tweet, but the actress hopes her latest film will stop his “shenanigans”.
Streep explained: “I actually think he may really like ‘The Post’, weirdly, because it is a great movie and it is a patriotic movie.
“What effect would I hope it would have on him? Well, that he would stop the shenanigans and give some respect for people who are operating on their principles and not on their appetite.”
The film follows Katharine Graham (Streep) who, as the first female publisher of The Washington Post, relies on the help of editor Ben Bradlee (Tom Hanks) to catch up with The New York Times to break the story of the classified Pentagon Papers, which expose the US government’s lies about the Vietnam War.
Together they must overcome their differences as they risk their careers to help bring the truths to light, whilst risking the future of the newspaper.
Streep said that Hanks’ reputation as being the “nicest guy in Hollywood” was accurrate.
But the actress also added that Hanks is very smart, which she considers to be “sexy”.
She said: “Tom has the reputation of being the nicest guy in Hollywood. And he is very nice, but he’s also really smart.
“It’s such an attractive quality. He’s always a few steps ahead of everybody in the room. He has that crackling wit and demanding personality.
“It’s very sexy. I think people will be surprised.”

Eddie Redmayne doesn’t think about audiences

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne doesn’t think about the audience when he chooses a job.
The 36-year-old actor has starred in a string of hit movies during his career, including ‘Les Miserabes’, ‘The Theory of Everything’, ‘The Danish Girl’ and he has now voiced caveman Dug in Aardman Studios’ latest animation ‘Early Man’ – but Redmayne admits he goes on “an instinct” when he reads a script he likes.
He told Den of Geek: “I’m really embarrassed to say that I don’t think about the audience when I choose a job.
“I tend to react to a script and go on an instinct, and whether I find it entertaining. Is it a film I’d be interested in seeing?
“I’m an old fan of Aardman’s from everything, so it was a bit of a no-brainer. But their capacity to be so inclusive, audience-wise, is a wonderful thing.
“It’s a rare, special thing a family film where every generation can take something from it. It’s one of the things I enjoy seeing.”
The new Aardman movie – which was helmed by Nick Park – follows Dug and his sidekick Hognob who must unite their tribe against a mighty enemy, the Bronze Age.
And Redmayne revealed he would love to make another Aardman movie.
He said: “Genuinely, with Aardman, I’d be there!
“But I just laughed when I read the script. A lot. And also, the past few films I’ve done, generally the scripts don’t make me laugh massively.
“This was just so refreshing. I suppose Dug is the straight guy, but one of the wonderful things about making the film for me, the first session I could go there and Nick and I were working on what his voice might be.
“Then Nick records an ‘eh?’ and ‘uh?’, and then I’d come back a week or two later, and they’d have animated it and Dug would be really funny!”

Eddie Redmayne hails females leading award season

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne has praised women in the film industry and the number of female-centric films leading the awards race this year.
The ‘Early Man’ star – who played a transgender woman in ‘The Danish Girl’ – believes a “sea of change” is happening in the movie industry following the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
Eddie, 36, told The Big Issue magazine: “I think all of the conversations that are happening in our industry and across all industries at the moment are beyond important. I hope there is a sea change.
“But I think the success of female-directed, female-led films – the top three films of the year have had women in the lead roles – that is testament to the fact it is no longer an excuse.”
‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ starring Frances McDormand, ‘The Shape of Water’, starring Sally Hawkins, ‘I, Tonya’, starring Margot Robbie and ‘Lady Bird’, starring Saoirse Ronan and directed by Greta Gerwig, are all big contenders at this year’s awards season.
Eddie’s ‘Early Man’ co-star Maisie Williams also spoke out in support of the Times Up and #MeToo movements, adding that she hoped the scrutiny will spread to other industries.
Maisie added: “There is nothing like seeing a group of people uniting and standing together. I am very, very proud of the women who have spoken out about the issues within this industry, but I am really glad we are not ignoring all other industries. We are more visible, we are under a microscope, so whenever something is going wrong in acting, everyone is aware of it.”

Gary Oldman eyes Marvel movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Oldman’s son wants him to star in a Marvel movie.
The 59-year-old actor has revealed one of his sons – Alfie, 29, Gulliver, 20, and Charlie, 18 – is keen to see him play a superhero and has urged the studio to give him a call to make those dreams a reality.
Speaking on the red carpet at the SAG Awards, he said: “Marvel hasn’t called me. But now that you mentioned it, if they’re tuning in, my son wants me to!”
Most recently, Gary played British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in ‘Darkest Hour’ but he previously admitted he didn’t think he could do the role because he was worried about having to gain a lot of weight.
He said: “I laughed and thought don’t be ridiculous. I’m coming up to a milestone, I’m nearly 60. And I thought there was no way on earth that I could gain 70 pounds and then spend the rest of my life of what remains losing weight. That would be the option. And so makeup was really the only way to go with it. You have this icon and this man who has been so mythologised. The silhouette is so iconic and so famous and I really wondered if one could get past all of that and find the man.”
And Gary learned about Winston Churchill’s “psychology” after sitting in the Prime Minister’s chair.
He shared: “There were deep scratches on the left where he had been doing this. And on the right hand side were all the scratches where he’d tap his ring. And that behaviour is now a living thing in that piece of furniture. That tells you so much about the psychology of an individual. And I wouldn’t have discovered it if I hadn’t sat down.”

Three Billboards wins big at SAGs

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ took home the prestigious Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday (21.01.18).
The comedy drama was the big winner on the night, and is now heavily tipped for Oscars success as the ensemble award is often seen as a strong indicator as to what will take home the coveted Best Picture accolade at the Academy Awards.
As well as the cast trophy, the film’s stars, Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell were also honoured with Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role respectively.
Frances – who beat off competition from the likes of Dame Judi Dench, Sally Hawkins, Margot Robbie and Saoirse Ronan to win her award – praised the “tsunami” of the film’s script as she accepted her honour, and also praised young actors.
The 60-year-old star said: “Representation — those tireless men and women who represent us truly — our desires, our dreams, our individual strengths, and our ethical beliefs: to them, we owe a great deal. To mine, Frank, Bryan, Simon, full credit, gentlemen.
“And to serving the word. When Martin [McDonough] wrote ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’, he did not sketch a blueprint. He wrote a meticulously crafted a tsunami, and then he allowed his troupe of actors to surf it into the shore…
“I come out of the woods every few years. There’s a lot of young one’s coming out, too, and they need doorstops, too.”
Frances was also tasked with accepting the ensemble prize from Brie Larson and Lupita Nyong’o, and praised those working off camera on the movie.
She said: “All we kids of ‘Ebbing, Missouri’, would like to thank our papas, Martin McDonagh, Graham Broadbent, Ben Davis our cinematographer, and Gregory, our editor. You made us what we are.
“Our mamas, Mama Dixon, Sandy Martin! And our casting director, Sarah Finn. And our godparents, Fox Searchlight and Film4.”
Gary Oldman’s performance in ‘Darkest Hour’ won him Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role and Allison Janney’s turn in ‘I, Tonya’ saw her awarded Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.
Elsewhere at the ceremony, which was hosted by Kristen Bell at the The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, ‘Big Little Lies’, ‘Veep’, and ‘This Is Us’ all picked up two awards in the TV categories.
Nicole Kidman continued her run of awards season success when she beat her co-stars Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon, along with ‘Feud: Bette and Joan’ stars Jessice Lange and Susan Sarandon to pick up Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series, while her ‘Big Little Lies’ on-screen husband, Alexander Skarsgard took the award in the male category.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus – who wasn’t at the ceremony as she’s currently receiving cancer treatment – picked up Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in ‘Veep’, and the show also took Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series went to the cast of ‘This Is Us’, while Sterling K. Brown was singled out for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.

Kimberley Garner thrown through windscreen in car crash

OHMYGOSSIP — Kimberley Garner has been left with concussion after she was thrown through the windscreen of a car in a horror smash in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star has admitted she feels lucky to be alive after she was involved in an accident while travelling around the Southern California city.
Alongside a photograph of her in a hospital gown strapped up to machines, she said: “In a car accident in Los Angeles. Was thrown through the car, feeling lucky to be ok, in bed with concussion. (sic)”
The 27-year-old beauty didn’t go into detail about the accident or whether she was driving when the incident took place, but she appears to be on the mend now.
Kimberley jetted across the pond last year in a bid to focus on her modelling career but she hasn’t had much luck as shortly after she moved over there, her home was broken into and she was forced to hide in her wardrobe for 20 minutes.
She admitted at the time that she was scared stiff when she caught sight of a “large hooded man with his face covered” breaking into the rented accommodation, and she swiftly decided to seek solitude with her friend in the closet because there was “no lock” on her bedroom door and believed it was the safest place for the pair of them.
Alongside a picture of a blank white space, which was shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “Tonight. Was just going to bed in our newly rented house. When we saw a large hooded man with his face covered at the door at midnight, with a van outside. Just me and a girlfriend were alone in the house, which was big and up in the hills in Beverley hills totally isolated. We had no lock on our bedroom door. So were very silent and climbed inside the wardrobe in the dark. We were in there for 20 minutes as we heard him try every door around the house, and listened as he broke one. Staying very still as we heard him in every room around the house. (sic).”
Kimberley called the police after the scary incident and, although the culprit was caught, he was allegedly released without any charge.

Jordan Banjo to become a father

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Banjo is set to become a father for the first time.
The Diversity dancer – the younger brother of dancing legend Ashley Banjo – has announced that he and his girlfriend Naomi Ella are expecting a baby boy together.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Naomi said: “We weren’t trying so I was sure it was going to be negative. I wanted to be sure so I went out and bought eight more tests. I sat
with them all laid out in front of me on the bathroom floor, staring at them in
disbelief. We always said we wanted kids together, we just didn’t think it
would happen this soon. We’re over the moon, though! …
“I started crying when they said it was a boy because I was completely convinced we were having a girl. I was delighted it was a boy but I felt very overwhelmed, as I’d mentally prepared myself for it to be a daughter.”
And the pregnancy has been tough on Naomi so far as she was signed off work for 10 weeks with extreme morning sickness and could barely keep water down.
She explained: “I was signed off work for ten weeks with hyperemesis gravidarum. It
felt like I was spending every minute of the day throwing up – I couldn’t even
keep a glass of water down. The doctor gave me loads of different anti-
sickness tablets but they didn’t make a difference. It’s only in the past few
weeks that I’ve started to feel more normal.”
The 24-year-old hunk has been dating Naomi since 2015 after they met at the Essex hotspot Sugar Hut in 2013 but he’s got no plans to pop the question just yet.
He said: “People ask me all the time when I’m going to propose and it does feel like there’s a bit of pressure on me, but the baby is giving us enough to think about.”

Rachel Adedeji suffered with baby blues

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Adedeji suffered from the “baby blues” following the birth of her daughter.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star welcomed her little girl Lillian – whom she has with her husband Jason Finegan – into the world just four days before Christmas and, although she was totally besotted with her little bundle of joy, she wasn’t prepared for how low she felt.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “In terms of the aftermath, they say it’s the best thing ever, which it is, but then you start to worry about everything. No one told me about the baby blues. No one told me about how hard breastfeeding actually is. The struggle is so real and I think people try to paint it as perfect; I’d rather people just be
honest about it … For me, it was just crying all the time at first, but it’s gone now. You’ve made this amazing human and you want the best for them, so you will cry and you might feel a bit sad but it’s okay, because it will eventually go. I think if you don’t talk about it, that’s what could lead to postnatal depression.”
However, the 26-year-old actress did have a traumatic pregnancy as she suffered from pre-eclampsia, which meant her blood pressure was quite high, and then her labour didn’t go according to plan and the doctors have to use a suction cup.
She explained: “The pain completely goes from zero to a hundred in about a minute,’ she told us. Because her heart rate kept dropping as my blood pressure kept increasing, they said they needed to get her out as soon as possible.
“The hospital were so phenomenal. They were so calm. Because of the diamorphine, I was so tired and I wasn’t pushing hard enough. So they had to give me an episiotomy and use a ventouse suction cup.”

Shona McGarty is engaged

OHMYGOSSIP — Shona McGarty has got engaged.
The ‘EastEnders’ star has announced that she and her beau Ryan Harris, whom she’s been dating for five years, are set to tie the knot later this year in the UK after the hunk got down on one knee at a surprise party he threw for her birthday last year.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said of their engagement: “Ryan asked me to cut the birthday cake and I was like: ‘Why? We’re not getting married!’ But I did it and there was a box on the top of the cake and Ryan asked me to open the box. When I opened it there was a ring inside and I turned around and Ryan was on one knee…
“The engagement was a complete surprise, but we had spoken about marriage, just to check that we both wanted the same things.”
And, although they’ve only just got engaged, the couple aren’t wasting any time becoming husband and wife as they’re planning to get hitched at the end of 2018.
The 26-year-old actress explained: “We’re getting married towards the end of the year in the UK. It’s been a bit stressful as there are so many decisions to make! We’d like an Irish-themed wedding as my family is from Southern Ireland.”
Ryan already has two children Scarlett, 10, and Alfie, six, from a previous relationship and, although she’s not ready just yet, Shona would like to have kids of her own.
She said: “To be honest, I never thought I’d go out with someone who already has children, but it couldn’t have worked out any better. It’s so lovely and I couldn’t imagine my life without them now. We all have a great relationship…
“I would like a football team, though! I come from a big Irish family so I want loads of children – we’d definitely like to have a large family.”

Trisha Goddard secretly divorces husband of 20 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Trisha Goddard secretly divorced her husband last year.
The 60-year-old chat show host has revealed she and Peter Gianfrancesco, whom she was married to for almost 20 years, decided to officially end their union in 2017 after their relationship began to suffer as a result of her breast cancer recovery.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Trisha said: “Our relationship was a rollercoaster.
“One day things were fine between us – great even. The next they were terrible – the arguments, the detachment, there were real lows.
“As time passed and I recovered and got stronger and was therefore no longer reliant on him, that’s when I felt things started to change.”
However, it hasn’t stopped Trisha from finding love again as she has admitted she’s now in a relationship with someone new and feels very “beautiful and sexy.”
She said: “For the first time in a very long time, I feel womanly, beautiful and sexy.”
This isn’t the first time Trisha has been through a divorce as she was previously married to Australian politician Robert Nestdale, but she later found out he was gay and he sadly died of AIDS in 1989.
She then went on to wed Mark Grieve in 1993 and the couple had two daughters Billie, 28 and Madison, 23, together, but they later divorced following allegations that he had been having an affair while she was carrying their second child.
She then met and fell in love with Peter in 1996 and they got hitched in 1998.
The psychotherapist supported her after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 but she has since admitted that the illness “definitely changed” her.
