Love Island hopeful claims Mike Thalassitis’ ghost inspired her to apply

OHMYGOSSIP — A ‘Love Island’ hopeful has claimed Mike Thalassitis’ ghost told her to apply for the show.
Sorcha Farnan, 18, has insisted the late reality star – who sadly took his own life in March aged 26 – appeared in her dream and “spoke about his death” while encouraging her to go into the villa this summer.
Adding that Mike’s ghost told her she was destined to be the next big thing during their spooky meeting, she told the Daily Star newspaper: “A few nights after Mike’s death he came to me.”
Sorcha – who has more than 5,000 followers on Instagram – also claims Mike later sent her another ghostly message through a medium, and admitted the experience has left her baffled.
She said: “I’ve never been so flabbergasted. I felt an energy take over me. I got flustered and went a bit red.”
Mike appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2017 and passed away earlier this year.
It was recently revealed ‘Love Island’ aren’t planning to honour him on air during the upcoming series – which starts next month – with bosses instead choosing to remember him on ITV’s on-demand service.
A tribute will play alongside the 2017 series in which he starred, which will soon be available as a boxset on the ITV Hub.
An insider recently said: “It felt more appropriate to do it there.”
The news comes after it was claimed contestants will have to pass new mental health and STI tests to be accepted on this year’s series, following the death of Mike and fellow star Sophie Gradon, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 32.

Malin Andersson calls for ‘extraordinary aftercare’ on reality shows

OHMYGOSSIP — Malin Andersson has called for some “extraordinary aftercare” to be put in place on reality TV shows after ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ was axed.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who appeared on the ITV dating show in 2016 – has questioned whether TV bosses are going to “wait for one more death”, axe all reality programmes, or substantially improve their aftercare to prevent further casualties.
She wrote on Twitter: “So Jeremy Kyle is permanently axed. Hmm.
“Do we have to wait for one more death before other shows are axed? Or can’t we just put in some extraordinary aftercare in place to prevent ANY deaths from occurring ever again. (sic)”
Malin’s comments come after ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ was axed yesterday (15.05.19) following the death of a participant.
And she recently called for ‘Love Island’ to take a break after former contestant Mike Thalassitis was found dead aged 26.
She asked her Twitter followers: “Do you think Love Island should air this summer? (sic)”
Malin then wrote: “I reckon the bad outweighs the good (sic)”
The 23-year-old star previously deemed the show’s aftercare “not enough” after the death of former contestant Sophie Gradon, who died by suicide in 2018 aged 32.
Malin said: “I don’t blame the show itself, because we asked to go on it, but I think the care received wasn’t enough.
“If someone is crying for help, like Sophie kind of did, and asked for help after it, with a psychiatrist or whatever. I think that they should have noted that and realised.
“We have psych tests before the show, to see if we’re fit to be in the villa. But afterwards, we need more support coming out.”
Following Mike’s death, Richard Cowles, creative director of ITV Studios, admitted contestants on the ITV2 dating show will receive more support and ITV will be “proactively checking in” with former ‘Love Island’ stars “on a regular basis”.
He wrote: “When something so awful happens we naturally enter a period of soul searching and ask whether anything could have been done. This review has led us to extend our support processes to offer therapy to all Islanders and not only those that reach out to us. And we will be delivering bespoke training to all future Islanders to include social media and financial management. The key focus will be for us to no longer be reliant on the Islanders asking us for support but for us to proactively check in with them on a regular basis … We work with an independent GP and a psychological consultant to provide an assessment of the physical and mental health of each of the shortlisted cast members and their suitability for inclusion.”

Jemaine Clement joins Avatar franchise

OHMYGOSSIP — Jemaine Clement has joined the ‘Avatar’ franchise.
The 45-year-old comedian-and-actor is set to feature in the new instalment of James Cameron’s sci-fi franchise as a marine biologist named Dr. Ian Garvin alongside other new cast members Kate Winslet, David Thewlis and Cliff Curtis.
Sam Worthington is set to reprise his role as Jake Sully in the upcoming sequels – the first of which will be released in 2020, followed by the other three in 20121, 2024 and 2025 – alongside Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, Giovanni Ribisi as Parker Selfridge, Stephen Lang playing Colonel Miles Quaritch and Sigourney Weaver as Dr. Grace Augustine.
Cameron said on the franchise’s social media feeds: “I’ve loved Jemaine’s work for years and I’m really pumped that he’s joining our cast as Ian Garvin, one of my favourite characters.”
The 64-year-old director previously teased that ‘Avatar 2’ will take place at least eight years after the first blockbuster, and sees characters Jake Sully and Neytiri have a “three-page argument” which is viewed from the perspective of their eight-year-old daughter, a sequence which is “critical” to the next film’s plot.
Cameron said: “There’s a three-page argument scene between Jake and Neytiri, a marital dispute, very, very critical to the storyline. I wound up shooting it all from the point of view of the eight-year-old hiding under the structure and peeking in.”
The first movie focuses on the human led Resources Development Administration (RDA) attempting to mine alien moon Pandora for unobtanium, a hugely valuable mineral.
The moon is inhabited by the Na’vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved, and as the planet’s environment is poisonous to human beings, human/Na’vi hybrids called Avatars must link to human minds to allow for free movement on the planet.
Jake Sully, a paralysed former marine becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na’vi woman , however, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world when the RDA threaten to destroy it.

Georgia Taylor says Coronation Street would be ‘boring’ with well-behaved characters

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia Taylor believes ‘Coronation Street’ would be “such a boring show” if all the characters “behaved impeccably”.
The 39-year-old actress loves it when her mild mannered alter-ego becomes “deceitful” at times, and she particularly enjoys the character’s “sparky” dynamic with Ben Price’s alter-ego Nick Tilsley because it keeps viewers entertained.
She said: “Even when she is ever slightly deceitful, there is good at the heart of it. Some of her decisions are so ill-judged but having said that, it is a soap.
“If we all behaved impeccably it would be such a boring show.
“The rational side of me says, ‘Take a step back, this can’t end well, if you are right then the truth will find its way out.’
“But the viewer in me is going, ‘Keep on hounding him,’ because it’s more interesting.
“I love the dynamic between Nick and Toyah, it’s really fun to play because Toyah and Nick are so sparky with each other.”
But Toyah and her sister Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) will put themselves in potential danger next week when they break into loan shark Rick Neelan’s (Greg Wood) office as they delve into Nick’s finances following a conversation with Nick’s sister Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), who Georgia loved teaming up with.
She said: “It was lovely to work with Tina because I don’t usually get to do much with her and I think she is fab. It’s always great when I get to work with Jane.”
But while Toyah is putting her efforts into finding out about Nick, her love life is set to take a turn for the worst.
Her boyfriend Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) dumps her when he overhears her complaining that he hasn’t been great to live with following the death of his sister Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia), but Georgia has loved working with Charlie during their time on screen together.
She said: “I love working with Charlie, it’s really mixed things up for me. I adored working with Chris Gascoyne because he is just so brilliant, but I knew that was always going to end badly because of how the storyline went and Peter is so perfect with Carla.
“Charlie and I have a really strong friendship and we really make each other laugh.”

Matthew Wolfenden: David thinks he’s done in Maya arrest

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew Wolfenden says David Metcalfe will feel “pure, unadulterated hate” towards his girlfriend Maya Stepney.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actor has opened up about the soap’s grooming storyline, which has seen Maya (Louisa Clein) exposed after her actions towards his son Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant), and scenes next week will see David have her arrested.
Opening up on his character’s mindset, the 39-year-old star said: “David absolutely believes he has done the right thing. Now that he knows the truth, he absolutely despises Maya.
“There’s no emotion over losing his girlfriend. That completely goes out of the window and it’s now pure, unadulterated hate.”
However, David’s intervention doesn’t go down well with teenager Jacob, who believes he and Maya are in love and thinks his dad has betrayed him.
The youngster doesn’t accept that he was groomed and manipulated in the disturbed relationship, and it means there is much more to come from the hard-hitting plot.
Upcoming scenes will lead to Jacob turning on his own dad for the role he played in the breakdown of the relationship, and it remains to be seen whether the pair will ever be able to get back on track after the ordeal.
Matthew said: “Jacob actually witnesses Maya being handcuffed and put into the police car. He’s obviously devastated and thinks that David has completely ruined his life.
“He still wants to be with Maya and thinks they’re in love.”
Jacob was unsure recently about whether he should simply leave his family behind and run away with Maya.
The pair are currently on the run, but next week, David is able to track them down which leads to the arrest, and it’s clear things will never be the same.

Corrie set for explosive post-watershed week

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ will air at 9pm for a week of dramatic episodes starting on May 27.
ITV bosses have confirmed the soap is set for its annual run in a later time slot to coincide with the upcoming ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ live finals, and the excitement will go beyond the talent show as things are set to really heat up on the cobbles.
While previous years have seen this week focus on the likes of Bethany Platt’s (Lucy Fallon) grooming storyline in 2017, and Pat Phelan’s (Connor McIntyre) demise last year, this time around the Platts and Connors are expected to take centre stage.
The fallout from the Underworld roof collapse is still rolling on, while brothers Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) are still trying to hide the truth about who really stole grandmother Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) £80,000.
Meanwhile, the Connors have been struggling to cope with Carla’s (Alison King) mental health issues lately, and she was taken into care during Monday evening’s episode (13.05.19).
Viewers will also be looking forward to finding out who is behind the factory roof collapse with Carla and Nick on the suspect list alongside Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill), Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
It sounds like we won’t have to wait long after a ‘Corrie’ spokesperson hinted all will be revealed very soon.
They said: “Following weeks of speculation, we are finally going to learn which local has blood on their hands.
“Viewers will learn the truth, although the rest of the Street still has a little way to go before they clock on. It’s a story that is going to run and run, and the outcome is not going to be cut and dried.”

Taika Waititi says Michael Jackson film script is ‘brilliant’

OHMYGOSSIP — Taika Waititi has boasted his ‘Bubbles’ script about the life of Michael Jackson is “brilliant”.
The 43-year-old filmmaker’s animation tells Michael Jackson’s life story through the eyes of his famous pet chimpanzee called Bubbles and although the project is “stuck in the early stages” he’s proud of his story and thinks the concept is “so cool”.
Speaking to Deadline, he said: “That script has been around for a long time, and it’s a little bit stuck in the early stages of trying to figure out what it could be and what it would look like.
“It’s a f***ing brilliant script, though. It’s so cool to look at the idea of telling a story like this through the eyes of a chimpanzee.
“But right now I’m finishing two other features – one which I’m looking to do this year – and finishing ‘Jojo [Rabbit], and there are a couple of TV shows I’m developing. There’s about two or three that I mentioned to the press, and they’re way back on my backburner.”
The ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ director is currently working on dark comedy film ‘Jojo Rabbit’ which follows 10-year-old boy Jojo, a proud member of the Hitler Youth who falls in love with a Jewish girl he finds hiding from the fascist force in an attic.
Taika plays Jojo’s imaginary friend, a version of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, but he didn’t do any research for the role because he knows the dictator is “such a f***ing ****”.
He said: “I didn’t base him on anything I’d seen about Hitler before. I just made him a version of myself that happened to have a bad haircut and a sh*tty little moustache. And a mediocre German accent. It would just be too weird to play the actual Hitler, and I don’t think people would enjoy the character as much. Because he was such a f***ing **** and everyone knows that as well.”

Judi Dench to star in Blithe Spirit

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Judi Dench is set to star in ‘Blithe Spirit’.
The 84-year-old actress has joined the re-imagining of Noel Coward’s hit comedy stage play alongside ‘Downton Abbey’ star Dan Stevens, 36, and ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic’ actress Isla Fisher, 43.
The story follows sceptical novelist Charles Condomine who invites self-proclaimed medium Madame Arcati to his home for a séance, hoping to gather material for a new book.
When the hapless psychic accidentally summons the spirit of Condomine’s late wife Elvira his home and life are quickly turned upside down as his wife’s ghost torments both himself and his new bride, Ruth.
The film will be directed by Edward Hall and the screenplay has been penned by Piers Ashworth, Meg Leonard and Nick Moorcroft.
Leonard and Moorcroft also acted as producers for Fisherman’s Friends alongside James Spring as well as Hilary Bevan Jones, Peter Snell and Tuni Pinnolis.
The project will start shooting on June 17 in London and Protagonist Pictures is handling worldwide rights on the project.
Writing and producing duo Leonard and Moorcroft recently announced their plans to turn Levi Roots’ life story into a new biopic to tell the story of the 60-year-old reggae musician and celebrity chef and how he created his Caribbean food and drink empire.
The film will tell the story of Levi growing up in Jamaica where he was too poor to buy shoes and could not read and write before emigrating to Britain aged 11.
He was later sentenced to nine years in prison for drugs offences, before turning his life around and appearing on ‘Dragons Den’ where he first pitched his now famous Reggae Reggae Sauce.

Rosie Williams insists Love Island should stay on air

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Williams says ‘Love Island’ shouldn’t be cancelled after ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ was axed.
The ITV daytime show is set to end production after 14 years of production following the death of Steve Dymond, who allegedly took his own life a week after taking a lie detector test on the programme.
But former ‘Love Island’ star Rosie, 27, has insisted the ITV2 dating show should stay on air, despite the deaths of former contestants Mike Thalassitis, 26, and Sophie Gradon, 32.
Rosie – who appeared on the programme last year – told ‘The Jeremy Vine Show’: “I think that people are going to continue watching reality TV regardless of incidents linked to the shows in general.
“I don’t think they should cancel ‘Love Island’. There’s a lot more going on than just the reality TV show. I just think the aftercare and the analysis beforehand needs to be properly thought out and properly considered.
“Because it’s down to the person themselves and whether they can cope with certain aspects of each show.”
The solicitor admitted her emotions were “tested” soon after leaving the dating show, because after “six to 12 months” former contestants are “on their own”.
She said: “As soon as you come out for this show, for the first six months you’re completely busy, it is great and it’s a new experience and you’re adapting to it and enjoying it.
“But as well, I’d say from six to 12 months that’s where you’re sort of on your own.
“The new ‘Love Island’ is coming on soon and you’re adjusting to normal life again soon – or the new norm – and that’s where you’re emotions will really, really test you.”

James Gunn accepts Disney had ‘every right’ to fire him

OHMYGOSSIP — James Gunn accepts that Disney had “every right” to fire him from the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise following the emergence of his old offensive tweets.
The 52-year-old director was recently re-hired by Walt Disney Studios to helm the third instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise after they took the decision to remove him from the series last year when his Twitter jokes about rape and child paedophilia resurfaced.
The filmmaker has now admitted that he “feels bad” about his old gags and takes “full responsibility” for Disney deciding to let him go, and he can remember the day he heard the news as being the “most intense” of his “entire life”.
Speaking to Deadline, in his first interview since the incident, he said: “I feel bad for that and take full responsibility. Disney totally had the right to fire me. This wasn’t a free speech issue. I said something they didn’t like and they completely had the right to fire me. There was never any argument of that. That first day … I’m going to say it was the most intense of my entire life. There have been other difficult days in my life, from the time I got sober when I was younger, to the death of friends who committed suicide.
“But this was incredibly intense. It happened, and suddenly it seemed like everything was gone. I just knew, in a moment that happened incredibly quickly, I had been fired. It felt as if my career was over.
In the days following his firing, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ cast members Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista signed an open letter saying they supported the director and wanted him brought back, and Gunn found their support “absolutely overwhelming”.
He said: “From my girlfriend Jen, my producer and my agents, Chris Pratt calling me and freaking out, Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan, all calling and crying. That amount of love that I felt from my friends, my family, and the people in the community was absolutely overwhelming.”
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ is due to start shooting in 2020 once Gunn has completed filming on the follow-up to DC Extended Universe movie ‘Suicide Squad’.

David Walliams wants Wagner duet

OHMYGOSSIP — David Walliams wants to “duet with Wagner” on ‘The X Factor’.
The 47-year-old comedian – who acts as a judge on Simon Cowell’s rival show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ – has joked that he would make an appearance on the new and revamped series of the singing show if it meant he could “kill it off” and there would be less competition for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ at awards shows.
Speaking at the Bafta TV Awards, he quipped: “If I can kill that format forever by appearing on it, I’d very much like to. I’ve mentioned it to him [Simon]. I cannot sing a note so I’d fit in very well. It would be fun. I don’t know if it’s going to happen but I’d love to. I’ve always loved it. I would love to be on that stage doing a duet with Wagner.”
‘The X Factor’ has undergone a huge revamp and Simon decided to make the change because he felt they had “lost sight of the contestants”.
Speaking about the judging panel costs, he said: “It was no secret it was millions and millions of pounds. I am going to be really honest with you – and this is no disrespect to Robbie or anyone else who has been on the panel – my focus this year is mainly about the people who are coming on the show to compete. I’m probably talking myself out of a job here, but I think there has been so much emphasis on the judges.
“We’ve lost sight of the contestants. It got crazy, I never thought this would happen 20 years ago, when I started this show, that we would be talking more about the judges than the contestants, it’s complete nonsense. Somehow that’s the way it’s gone. So that’s why me and Rob were talking, and he could see where I was coming from. It’s about getting the right people to come on the show, that was it.”

Oti Mabuse: My husband doesn’t need to worry about Strictly curse

OHMYGOSSIP — Oti Mabuse says her husband Marius Lepure doesn’t need to “worry” about the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ “curse”.
The 28-year-old professional dancer has opened up about the BBC One ballroom and latin show’s so-called curse, whereby being on the show supposedly causes couples to break up when celebrities embark on romances with their dance partners.
The ‘The Greatest Dancer’ judge says that her choreographer spouse – who she has been married to since 2012 – has no need to concern himself with the infamous curse, and admitted that it was “true love” in terms of actress Gemma Atkinson and her pro partner Gorka Marquez, who are now having a baby together.
Asked if Marius should be worried, Oti told The Irish News: “No, he doesn’t need to. I’m married to Marius and that’s it.
“If it ever happens to people on the show, then they have to deal with it in the best way they can.
“But look at Gemma [Atkinson] and Gorka [Marquez], who met on the show and are going to have a beautiful baby.
“That’s been amazing and we’re all really supportive of them. It’s not a curse if it’s true love.”
Oti – who joined ‘Strictly’ in 2015 – recently admitted she finds it “sexy” when her husband “threatens” her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partners.
The dark-haired beauty confessed that her “macho man” warns her celebrity dance partners to “only touch her unless they have to” and admitted he wasn’t too happy when her latest partner Graeme Swann bought her a huge bouquet of flowers.
She said: “He’s a real macho man … he’s always like, ‘Don’t touch my wife unless you have to. Unless you really have to, don’t do it.’
“He’ll give them that firm handshake and I’m like, ‘I see what you’re doing.’
“It’s sexy! When you’re standing there and your husband’s threatening your dance partner you’re like, ‘Yes baby!’
“When he met Graeme – and Graeme is one of my best friends now – but he knew nothing about me and he came with a big bouquet of flowers, and he said, ‘Oh Oti, I’m so excited for our journey.’
“And out of nowhere my husband came in and took this whole bouquet out and said, ‘She’s allergic to flowers.’ ”

Michelle Pfeiffer and Annette Bening to star in Turn of Mind

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Pfeiffer and Annette Bening have joined the cast of ‘Turn of Mind’.
The ‘Stardust’ actress has been cast alongside the ‘American Beauty’ star in the upcoming psychological thriller helmed by Gideon Raff.
Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright has adapted the script from Alice LaPlante’s best-selling novel of the same name.
The story centres on Dr. Jennifer White, a retired surgeon with dementia whose best friend, Amanda, is found dead with four of her fingers surgically removed. Dr. White is the prime suspect and doesn’t know herself whether she did it or not.
In a statement, Raff said: “‘Turn of Mind’ is an edge of your seat emotional thriller, a story of a warped friendship between two brilliant, sharp, forceful women who are bonded equally by their love for and jealousy of one other.”
Producers are Raff, Gail Berman through The Jackal Group and Well Told Entertainment’s Rory Koslow and rights to the film will be up for sale at the Cannes Film Market kicking off this week.
Michelle, 61, will next be seen in the follow-up to the live-action Sleeping Beauty villain spin-off ‘Maleficent’ which will now hit cinemas in October 2019, rather than at the end of May 2020, as initially scheduled and the Disney film’s official title has been announced as ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’.
The sequel, helmed by Joachim Ronning, will pick up several years after ‘Maleficent’ and audiences will learn of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora.
Annette, 60, recently appeared as a Kree agent known as Mar-Vell in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first ever female-led standalone film, ‘Captain’ Marvel’, which starred Brie Larson as the titular hero.

Graham Norton remembered Freddie Starr at BAFTA TV Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Norton paid tribute to the late Freddie Starr at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday night (12.05.19).
The event’s host remembered the late comedian following his tragic death aged 76 on Thursday (09.05.19) while also taking a moment to mention broadcaster Brian Walden after his death was announced the day of the ceremony.
Graham simply said: “Sadly, we’ve just heard that the broadcaster Brian Walden has passed away.
“And we also remember Freddie Starr, who died on Thursday.”
His comments were met with applause from the star-studded audience before a montage was shown featuring stars who have passed away this year.
According to Freddie’s autopsy, he died from a heart attack after having a history of heart problems.
He had previously suffered from coronary artery disease and had a quadruple bypass following a heart attack in 2010.
A number of famous faces spoke out to pay tribute to Freddie following the sad news of his passing.
Bobby Davro, 60, said “I’ve just heard that Freddie Starr has died. He was the funniest man I have ever seen. I’m so sad we have lost one of our greatest comedy talents. RIP Freddie. (sic)”
‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Amanda Holden admitted that while his style may have “fallen out of comedy fashion and favour”, people should still recognise his “once huge popularity and fame”.
She wrote: “Sad to hear of Freddie Starr passing today. His style may have fallen out of comedy fashion & favour-but it’s important to recognise his once huge popularity& fame. The outrageous & edgy parody’s were infamous.I hope his legacy is not smalled down and he’s remembered with a smile (sic)”
The star rose to fame in the early 1970s after appearing on TV show ‘Opportunity Knocks’ and the Royal Variety Performance, and went on to star in a number of his own shows including ‘The Freddie Starr Show’ and ‘An Audience with Freddie Starr’.
He also presented the game show ‘Beat The Crusher’ and appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2011 – just a year after recovering from his quadruple bypass surgery – but he was forced to leave the jungle early following a suspected allergic reaction.

Tina Malone set for Celebs on the Farm

OHMYGOSSIP — Tina Malone has signed up for ‘Celebs on the Farm’.
The former ‘Shameless’ star – who was given an eight-month suspended jail sentence and ordered to pay costs of £10,000 last year for sharing a Facebook post which allegedly revealed the new identity of Jon Venables, one of James Bulger’s killers – is hoping a stint on the Channel 5 reality show will help her make a comeback from her “catastrophic mistake”.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Tina made a catastrophic mistake but the call from ‘Celebs On The Farm’ came at just the right time and the payday could help her put this entire episode behind her.
“It’s worth tramping around in the mud for.”
The show sees a group of stars learning the ropes as they stay on a farm and compete with each other – and the early starts – to be named the winner.
Tina is expected to join ‘Love Island’ beauty Hayley Hughes, ‘TOWIE’ star James Argent, ‘Benidorm’ actress Crissy Rock, boxer Charlie Edwards, model Caprice, ‘Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts, Paralympian Kadeena Cox, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Artem Chigvintsev and former footballer Paul Merson.
The programme was recommissioned back in March.
An insider said at the time: “Producers have really gone all out to secure some very exciting celebs.
“Some aren’t going to know what hit them when they have to do a few of the challenges. The series is definitely going to be bigger and better than last year for sure.”
For the first series last year, ‘Dancing With The Stars’ pro Gleb Savchenko was crowned the champion ahead of the likes of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Bobby Norris, Olympic athlete Ashley McKenzie, former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate Megan McKenna and ‘Ex On the Beach’ beauty Charlotte Dawson.

Danny Baker returns to spotlight

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Baker didn’t want to be “forced” to retire.
The 61-year-old broadcaster was fired by the BBC last week after sharing a doctored photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex holding hands with a chimpanzee wearing clothes with the caption “Royal Baby leaves hospital”, and many users accused the former Radio 5 Live presenter of mocking Duchess Meghan’s racial heritage.
Danny returned to the spotlight at the weekend when he took to the stage at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal for his ‘Good time Charlie’s Back’ show and addressed the scandal.
He said: “After 42 years in this racket … I’m 62 nearly now and I thought, well, retire.
“I didn’t want to be forced to retire.”
The presenter made a number of jokes about his sacking and insisted he wasn’t afraid of his critics.
He said: “When life deals you lemons, you chuck them at the people calling you racist…
“I genuinely didn’t know what atmosphere to expect tonight.
“But if you want to rush the stage, I’m a Millwall fan with a snooker cue.”
And referencing President John F. Kennedy’s killer as he walked around the stage, he said: “I always pace the stage – I’m not trying to get away from potential Lee Harvey Oswalds.”
And despite the public outcry against him, Danny received a standing ovation at the end of his show and hailed the evening one of the “best” of his career.
He said: “I’ve always been described as a professional Cockney and it used to really rile us.
“Recently and long before the last week’s troubles, I’ve started to do what the kids call ‘own it’.
“I do want to say this and I’m not milking it but it’s been one of the best nights of my career tonight. It really has.”
Following the immediate backlash, Danny tweeted an apology after deleting the offending post and said the offensive meaning behind it “never occurred” to him.
He later “formally apologised” in a string of tweets and attempted to explain his “awful gaffe” admitting that he “f****d up” and is “not feeling sorry for [himself]”.
He wrote: “Following one of the worst days of my life I just want to formally apologise for the outrage I caused and explain how I got myself into this mess.
