Sir David Attenborough earned over ‘£7,000 a minute’ for latest shows

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Attenborough reportedly earned £7,206 a minute for his latest TV shows.
The 97-year-old naturalist and legendary broadcaster – who celebrates his 98th birthday in May – is said to have quadrupled his earnings with a payday of around £4.2 million – with over £833,000 paid in tax – for the 12 months up to last September.
As reported by The Sun newspaper, accounts show a huge rise from the previous year when he pocketed £1.3 million.
Over the 12 months, he had four shows – ‘Climate Change: Drought’ on Amazon Prime Video, ‘Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster’ and ‘Wild Isles’ for BBC One, and Sky series ‘Secret World of Sound’ – which amounts to 578 minutes of television.
As well as his earnings, the recent filing reveals the beloved presenter has a cash pile of £2.3 million and assets worth £2.76 million.
Meanwhile, it’s thought his David Attenborougu Productions company may also have still been receiving fees from work he did in 2021, including voiceovers and writing.
Last year, Sir David insisted less is actually more when it comes to what he can add to his wildlife shows without spoiling the magic.
He told BBC Wildlife Magazine: “You mustn’t be too wordy.
“The one key, I think, is that a picture is more powerful than a spoken word, and if you give people the two things, the thing that they remember is the picture.
“You can’t ignore pictures. I don’t think you could generalise, but you should remember that pictures are more powerful than words.”
David also revealed that he often tosses his script aside in the recording booth to improve the shows.
He said: “Having written a commentary, the first thing to do is to carefully see what you can get rid of.”

Vanessa Feltz’s ex Ben Ofoedu to marry new girlfriend?

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Feltz’s ex Ben Ofoedu is said to be planning to marry his new girlfriend Precious Muir.
The 62-year-old TV star endured a public breakup last year when she discovered her then-fiancé Ben had been unfaithful at times during their 16-year relationship, and it’s now thought the 51-year-old singer is set to marry Precious, 33, who he has been dating for around three months.
Ben and Precious – who previously appeared on Channel 4 show ‘The Circle’ – attended an event in London’s Soho on Monday (25.03.24), and he is said to have introduced her as his “soon to be wife”.
One guest told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Ben was very open about the fact he is planning to wed Precious – and soon. There was no secrecy. He introduced her as his ‘soon to be wife’ to several people he was speaking to, and gave the air of being as pleased as punch.
“It was a surprise given the length of time they have been together, but they both seemed to be very happy with each other.”
In October, Vanessa – who appeared on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ last June – admitted she would try online dating in a bid to find a new suitor if she wasn’t famous.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she said: “It’s not that I don’t like online dating, I just don’t really think I can do it. Imagine if I suddenly showed up, people would get the shock of their lives and then it would end up in the papers. If I could, I probably would because I just think it’s the best way to meet the most people.
“Somebody said I just had to hang round the cheese counter in Waitrose. How much cheese can I possibly buy? I was thinking maybe I’d wait outside a prison with a cake and hope someone would come out and marry me. I don’t quite know what to do, quite frankly, I’m quite desperate!”

Steven Spielberg hails ‘brilliant’ Dune: Part Two

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Spielberg has heaped praise on the “brilliant” ‘Dune: Part Two’.
The legendary director – who has helmed classics including ‘E.T. The Extra Terrestrial’ – has described Denis Villeneuve’s epic as one of the best sci-fi movies that he has ever seen.
During an appearance on DGA’s ‘Director’s Cut’ podcast alongside Villeneuve, Spielberg said: “It’s an honour for me to sit here and talk to you.
“This is truly a visual epic, and it’s also filled with deeply, deeply drawn characters.
“Yet the dialogue is very sparse when you look at it proportionately to the running time of the film. It’s such cinema. The shots are so painterly, yet there’s not an angle or single setup that’s pretentious … you have made one of the most brilliant science fiction films I have ever seen.”
Spielberg reserved acclaim for the special effects in the desert-set flick, which stars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya and Rebecca Ferguson.
The 77-year-old filmmaker said: “This is a desert-loving story, but for such a desert-loving film there is such a yearning for water in this movie.
“For all the sand you have in this film, it’s really about water. The sacred waters that are yearning for green meadows and the blue water of life.
“You film the desert to resemble an ocean, a sea. The sandworms were like sea serpents. And that scene surfing the sandworms is one of the greatest things I have ever seen. Ever! But you made the desert look like a liquid.”
Spielberg also described Denis as one of the best directors in the history of Hollywood.
The ‘Jaws’ director explained: “Let me start by saying there are filmmakers who are the builders of worlds. It’s not a long list and we know who a lot of them are. Starting with [Georges] Melies and [Walt] Disney and [Stanley] Kubrick, George Lucas. Ray Harryhausen I include in that list.
“[Federico] Fellini built his own worlds. Tim Burton. Obviously Wes Anderson, Peter Jackson, James Cameron, Christopher Nolan, Ridley Scott, Guillermo del Toro. The list goes on but it’s not that long of a list, and I deeply, fervently believe that you are one of its newest members.”

Rufus Sewell was ‘flattered’ to play Prince Andrew in Scoop

OHMYGOSSIP — Rufus Sewell was “quite flattered” to be offered the role of Prince Andrew in ‘Scoop’.
The 56-year-old actor stars as the Duke of York in the Netflix movie about the royal’s fateful ‘Newsnight’ interview with journalist Emily Maitlis regarding his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and admits that the “acting challenge” appealed to him.
Speaking at the film’s world premiere in London on Wednesday (27.03.24), Rufus said: “My initial reaction was actually, I was quite flattered. I was flattered because it was an acting challenge.
“And the script was amazing and somehow managed to make something that we thought we all knew a nailbiter.”
Gillian Anderson plays former BBC journalist Maitlis in the film and was stunned by how much she and Sewell mimicked the infamous 2019 interview after studying the original conversation.
She recalled: “We sit down, and so I’m doing it and doing the gestures. But at the same time, I’m seeing Rufus doing exactly what Prince Andrew did. I just wanted to go: ‘You were so good!'”
Director Peter Moffat adapted former ‘Newsnight’ producer Sam McAlister’s book ‘Scoops’ for the movie and was keen to explore the difference in Prince Andrew’s and the public’s perception of the interview – after the royal initially thought that he had handled the questioning well.
He said: “Like everybody else, I saw the original interview, and then I heard that Andrew, as we saw in the film, was thinking that it had gone really well.
“And it felt like such an interesting territory for a drama to exist in the difference between how everyone else saw it and how he saw it.”

Louis Walsh blasts Gary Goldsmith

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Walsh has blasted Duchess Catherine’s uncle Gary Goldsmith.
The pair were housemates on the most recent season of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ but music manager Louis, 71, admitted he was baffled about why Gary was on the show.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “The person that I would least like to hang out with is Gary [Goldsmith]. He wouldn’t listen, he kept telling the same old joke all the time. There was nothing to the man; he shouldn’t have been there — he should have known not to be there. It is not his world.”
Louis also had harsh words for some of his other fellow contestants.
He said: “Nikita [Kuzmin] and Fern [Britton] wanted it the most — they played to the cameras.
“Fern is OK. I mean she desperately wanted to win. She was wallpaper — she doesn’t give you anything.
“Nikita is very ambitious but I think he will become a star, a TV presenter — he can do it all. I love Levi Roots he is a totally genuine man, very placid, outgoing, and really got on with Colson Smith. We’ve swapped numbers.”
Meanwhile, Gary pulled out of the live ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ final on Friday (22.03.24) after his niece, Catherine, Princess of Wales, announced her cancer diagnosis.
Gary wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Following today’s news, I will not be attending tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother final. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my fellow housemates and to everyone involved in the making of this brilliant show. I hope you all enjoy your special night.”

Louis Walsh changed by blood cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Walsh says his blood cancer diagnosis has changed him.
The 71-year-old music manager has vowed to be less “catty” after undergoing a secret cancer battle a few years ago during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Louis said: “Cancer is a great reality check. This whole experience is going to change me. I’m going to try and be a better person.
“I am going to try and be nicer. I am a bit catty. I always let people know what I think of them, that’s just me.”
Louis was diagnosed with Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, a rare type of blood cancer, which is incurable, but he is “living with it and managing it”.
And, he has urged others to look after their health.
He said: “Please, for anyone reading this, and you don’t feel well, please, please go and get checked.
“If this interview encourages one person to go to a doctor, then this has all been worth it.”
However, Louis couldn’t stop himself from complaining about his “fake” fellow contestants on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
He said: ” You know what really annoys me, though? All this kissing and hugging [on the show]. You don’t even know each other! So fake! They all wanted to win.
“That was the bottom line on the show. There was nothing controversial that happened really because everyone was too wary, too woke, everyone is too careful what they say and it all becomes bland and boring.
“I didn’t want to be like that. I was just sitting there like an observer and telling people what I thought of what was happening in there.
“I was only telling the truth. I wasn’t trying to be catty, I was just reporting what I saw. I was brought up to say it like it is. Some of the housemates were just boring and bland and playing to the cameras.”

Derek Draper’s final days to be shown in new doc

OHMYGOSSIP — Derek Draper’s final days will reportedly be shown in a new documentary.
Derek, 56, passed away in January after an almost four year battle with the effects of COVID-19 and a new ITV documentary featuring Derek and his TV presenter wife Kate Garraway will show him speaking about his illness for the first time.
A scene from the trailer shows Derek in bed with a notepad and pen as he says: “My name’s Derek Draper, I want you to hear my story.”
Sitting beside him Kate, 56, says: “You’ve written COVID changed everything. Do you mean for you?”
He replies “yes” and Kate asks “Where’s your story going to end?”
Kate has previously made two documentaries about Derek’s illness but the third ‘Kate Garraway: Derek’s Story’ was his idea.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Derek really wanted to make this documentary and have his say.
“It was incredibly brave of him to let cameras into his home.”
And, Kate admitted it is devastating that Derek will not be around to watch the doc with her.
She told ‘Good Morning Britain’: “It’s been pretty emotional actually. Makes you want to jump in the screen and give him a hug.
“You can’t quite believe that he’s not with us to watch his story. But, hopefully, it will be very useful for others who that are going through the same thing. That’s the dream and the wish.
“There’s fragility, vulnerability, obviously deep ill-health and damage, but yeah he was his own man until the end.
“‘It was his idea to make this and his story, so hopefully it will bring a lot of help to a lot of people who are in the situation Derek’s in with long-term illness and those around them that care for them and the professional carers as well.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Gogglebox’ star Josh Tapper is engaged.
The 26-year-old star plans to tie the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Hannah Sterman, who he has been with since their early teens.
His sister, Amy, shared the news on Instagram and showed off the diamond engagement ring, writing: “The phone call I’ve been waiting for and the best news in the entire world.
“My friends are engaged. I officially have a sister.”
Josh had rose petals scattered across the floor along with pictures from their holidays and memories together in frames, as well as candles either side of the flowers, and letter lights spelling out Marry Me.
Amy wrote a picture of where the proposal seemingly took place: “Welcome to the family Han, couldn’t wish for anyone better.”

The Masked Dancer ‘axed’ after being taken off-air

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Masked Dancer’ has reportedly been axed after it was “rested” by ITV.
The show – hosted by Joel Dommett – was a spin-off of hit musical series ‘The Masked Singer’ and featured celebrity guests dancing in disguise with the judges attempting to guess their identities from their dance moves but it was taken off-air following two seasons and now a new report suggests it won’t be returning to TV.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “‘The Masked Dancer’ was always something of a tricky sell. But ITV thought it was worth taking a punt on a concept which had clearly struck a chord with the public as ‘The Masked Singer’.
“But they made the mistake of shifting it from a show that ran every night over a week, to a weekly show that aired on a Saturday night. That saw it go out on the same evening as ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, which is a very challenging rival.”
The previous two seasons featured celebrities including Take That’s Howard Donald, Bonnie Langford, ‘Glee’ actress Heather Morris and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Bruno Tonioli.
The reported axing is unlikely to affect ‘The Masked Singer’ which has been a huge success since it launched back in 2020. The fifth season wrapped in February and was won by McFly star Danny Jones.
He was crowned the winner of the ITV show after he was unmasked as Piranha. Speaking after his identity was revealed, Danny admitted: “I’ve had the mot amazing time.”
The pop star also claimed his experience on the show has actually improved his musical talents. Danny explained: “I’m able to singer higher now. I’ve gone up a whole tone.”
TV star Alex Brooker was named runner-up after performing as Bigfoot with pop star Lemar coming in third as Cricket.

Mark Wahlberg had hair ‘issues’ filming The Departed

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wahlberg had some hair “issues” while filming ‘The Departed’.
The 52-year-old actor played undercover cop Sean Dignam in Martin Scorsese’s 2006 crime drama but he’s now revealed he was originally supposed to take on another part but his role was changed prior to filming while he has also claimed he wasn’t paid for his work and clashed with the team over his longer locks.
During an appearance on Josh Horowitz’s ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Wahlberg explained: “I was a little [angry] about a couple things but look, it all worked out in the end, I think.
“Originally I was supposed to play another part. Originally, I was supposed to get paid.
“And then even when we kind of agreed that I would play Dignam and I saw the advantages of playing that part and how I would approach the situation with everybody else playing opposite me, I then had another movie after.”
Wahlberg went on to reveal his next role in ‘Invincible’ led to “issues” over his hair style. He added: “I was trying to grow my hair out, which is why I had that weird hair. You know, everybody’s like, what was that wig about? I was like, it was not a wig, I was just trying to grow my hair for the next film.”
However, Wahlberg insists he can understand that Scorsese was in a difficult position dealing with such a star-studded cast. He added: “I completely understand where Marty was coming from. He had to deal with Jack [Nicholson], he had to deal with Matt [Damon] and Leo [DiCaprio] and Alec [Baldwin] and everything in the studio and everybody else who was in the cast and then I was supposed to be in and out in five weeks.”
However, he still ended up facing issues over his hair.
Wahlberg went on: “So I went off to go and shoot ‘Invincible’, got my hair extensions, came back and then they were like, oh you gotta take out the extensions. I was like, [this] shit took eight hours. I’m not gonna take this out. We had a couple of issues.”
He went on to land his first Oscar nomination for his role in ‘The Departed’ and now looks back on the job with pride.
The actor added: “Ultimately, I think when I read that particular role, I was like, OK, this is, this is a good role. This is an opportunity for me to really kind of go off and have some fun for me.
“Originally, I was just thinking, ok, we gotta make this as realistic and credible as possible. It’s Boston, it’s gangster [stuff]. You don’t see too many of that, those movies.
“And I was thinking kind of broad big picture, not necessarily my own individual goals or even the opportunity for me as an actor. And then when I read the part again, I was like, ‘OK, there’s, there’s something here’.”

Face/Off sequel is a long way off after writer’s strike delayed script

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Face/Off’ sequel is much delayed.
The follow-up to the 1997 action blockbuster starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta has been heavily impacted by last year’s writer’s strike.
The flick’s co-writer Adam Wingard told io9: “Almost in the middle of production [on Godzilla x Kong], we were finishing our draft of the script and because both of us were too busy working on other things there was a plan to do a rewrite, and we picked a writer to work on it.
“And then the writers’ strike happened so that delayed things. Right now, that’s still inactive, so I think the plan with that one will be that writer will continue working, and whenever that draft is done, Simon [Barrett, co-writer] and I will get it back and we’ll take another crack at it.”
The sci-fi action thriller saw Travolta play FBI agent Sean Archer and Cage terrorist Castor Troy.
Last year, Cage claimed the sequel will feature their children.
Speaking to Collider, he said: “I think ‘Face/Off’ is a sequel that lends itself to a lot of twists and turns and unpredictability.
“It’s almost like if you factor in the idea of offspring and Castor and Sean having children and these children grow up, then it becomes like three-dimensional chess, and then it’s not just the two, John Travolta and myself, it’s four of us ping-ponging and going at different levels, and it becomes even more complex.”
The ‘Con Air’ star said he had “one meeting” about the film and thinks there is “fertile ground” for ideas.
He said: “I think there’s a lot of fertile ground there. I had maybe one meeting in an office, but I haven’t heard anything since, so I don’t know.”
Cage’s character died in John Woo’s original film, but Wingard teased that the new instalment will be a sequel to allow the actor to return.

Lorraine Kelly left in shock when Susanna Reid crashes her morning show with surprise announcement

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorraine Kelly is being honoured with a special BAFTA in recognition of her 40 years in broadcasting.
The 64-year-old presenter has worked in breakfast television since 1984 and was left “shocked” when her self-titled ITV1 chat show was interrupted by ‘Good Morning Britain’ host Susanna Reid on Monday (25.03.24) morning to deliver the good news.
Susanna told Lorraine: “On behalf of the BAFTA board of trustees, we are delighted to offer you, Lorraine Kelly, the Academy’s special award to be presented at this year’s BAFTA television awards! “With this award, we would like to pay tribute to your outstanding contribution to television during which you have inspired generation viewers, been an advocate for a diverse range of causes and reported on a huge variety of issues and events This award is to celebrate those tremendous achievements!”
The former GMTV host will be honoured with the award at the upcoming ceremony on 12 May and after Susanna had stormed the set with the surprise announcement, joked that it couldn’t be a wind-up because she didn’t see Ant and Dec anywhere and reflected that she got her start in television because someone was willing to “take a risk” on her now-signature Scottish accent.
She said: “That’s nuts. Where’s Ant and Dec? It can’t be a prank if it’s Susanna! It must be true, because it’s you! I’m in shock That’s a bit posh, and grown up!”
“I was a baby and I got my chance in British television because they were willing to take a risk on somebody who had been told they’d never make it on TV because of the way I speak but the boss of TV-AM was Australian and he just said ‘Oh, give her a go!'”
Moments before the surprise was revealed, Lorraine had been hosting a segment with former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant Tyler West about the 77th birthday of Sir Elton John and the upcoming series of ‘The Traitors’, but the conversation soon faded out and viewers saw Susanna backstage, explaining that the whole item was a “ruse”.
She said: “Your televsion has not malfunctioned, there isn’t a problem with the signal but I’m interrupting Lorraine’s programme, she doesn’t know anything about this but I have an absolutely huge announcement for her.
“I’ve got her very own breaking newsflash to celebrate her 40 years in broadcasting. So I’ve come from the ‘Good Morning Britain’ studio to the ‘Lorraine’ studio next door. Tyler is in on it and so is Dr Hillary, currently the conversation they’re having is just a ruse so that Lorraine doesn’t know anything about it. In a couple of seconds, I’ll break into her programme.”

‘It wasn’t what fans were hoping for’: Ernie Hudson was underwhelmed by the female-led Ghostbusters film

OHMYGOSSIP — Ernie Hudson was “disappointed” with the female-led reboot of ‘Ghostbusters’.
The 78-year-old actor made a cameo appearance in Paul Feig’s movie that featured Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones in the main roles but acknowledged that the picture didn’t strike a chord with fans of the franchise.
Ernie told The Independent newspaper: “Fans were really invested in the story and the characters, and I think it was disappointing. I enjoyed the movie. But I think it wasn’t what fans were hoping for.”
The star admits that he was puzzled by Feig’s decision to reboot the supernatural franchise and thinks he should have made a continuation from the original films – which has subsequently happened with flicks like ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’.
Ernie – who stars as Dr. Winston Zeddemore in the series – said: “Look, I’m a fan of Paul Feig, so I have nothing negative about him to say.
“Other than: I don’t quite understand why you do a reboot, you know what I mean? Just make another movie.”
Hudson has returned as Zeddemore in the new ‘Ghostbusters’ film and is impressed with the way that Sony has developed his character in the four decades since the original movie.
He said: “Sony is not the same studio it was 40 years ago and they’ve really stepped up and given some dimension to the character. Credit to Sony for being so open to hearing my feelings, because in the first one – they didn’t.”
Ernie explained that he is open to a return in more ‘Ghostbusters’ movies and hopes his alter ego can be like Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
He said: “I’d love for Winston Zeddemore to be the Nick Fury of the ‘Ghostbusters’.”

Kate Garraway is on ‘survival mode’ and faces £800k debt for late husband Derek Draper’s care

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Garraway has admitted she is on “survival mode” and faces up to £800,000 in fees for her late husband’s care.
The TV star, 56 – who presents ‘Good Morning Britain’ – lost her 56-year-old husband Derek Draper in January 2024 following a lengthy battle with Covid and she has opened up about the emotional and financial toll caring for him has taken on her.
Speaking to The Times, she said: “Derek’s needs were clearly so great, yet he didn’t warrant funded care — so you think, ‘If he isn’t getting it, then who is?’
“To be fair to them, no one’s contacted me since he’s passed away to ask for that. They may well still do, but they haven’t as yet. The bigger picture of the further appeals I haven’t addressed yet, because I’m still in survival mode.”
Kate, who was spending £4,000 a week for Derek’s care, then hit out against the system that felt like was “trying to catch” her out.
She said: “It’s supposed to be a system that’s meant to catch you if you fall.
“But actually, it feels like it’s trying to catch you out. You feel like you’re in the dock answering questions about things that will literally mean life or death to someone you love.”
The broadcaster, who is fronting the new ITV documentary about her late husband’s final year – ‘Kate Garraway: Derek’s Story’ – revealed that the programme will feature her husband speaking about his illness for the first time.
Reflecting on the upcoming show, she told ‘Good Morning Britain’: “It’s been pretty emotional actually.
“[It] makes you want to jump in the screen and give him a hug. You can’t quite believe that he’s not with us to watch his story. But, hopefully, it will be very useful for others who that are going through the same thing. That’s the dream and the wish.
“There’s fragility, vulnerability, obviously deep ill-health and damage, but yeah he was his own man until the end.
“It was his idea to make this and his story, so hopefully it will bring a lot of help to a lot of people who are in the situation Derek’s in with long-term illness and those around them that care for them and the professional carers as well.”

Jeremy Clarkson laments being ‘forced’ to work out

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Clarkson hated being “forced” to work out at a gym.
The 63-year-old TV star, who is best known for presenting ‘Top Gear’ alongside Richard Hammond and James May, admitted his “life satisfaction score” dramatically decreased after he was instructed to exercise at a gym by his personal trainer.
In his latest column for The Sunday Times, he wrote: “I was in a gym, being forced by a man in skin-tight shorts to pick things up so I could put them down again. So my life satisfaction score was about minus a million.”
In January, the ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ host revealed he had underwent an operation to remove a cyst after having a “miserable” time at a spa resort with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I had a five centimetre cyst, which is now not a cyst any more.
“Lisa took me to a health farm and, well, it was so miserable there that I thought, ‘I’ve got to have this cyst taken out at some point, I may as well go now’.
“So I checked out of the whole place and checked into hospital, because it was more fun having an operation than eating juniper berries all day long.
“As I lay under the surgeon’s knife, I thought ‘this is preferable’.
“I did actually lose a stone though — mind you, half of that was probably the cyst. But it wasn’t cancer. It was never going to be cancerous though — I wasn’t in the mood.”
The ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ star then explained that his awful wellness retreat was made even more painful after being forced to eat “gut-retching” wheatgrass.
He wrote in his column for The Sunday Times: “Now, I’ve eaten grasshoppers and tarantulas, and I once had a seven-day egg, which had a bit of beak and an eye in it. All of those things were pretty awful.
“But nothing — nothing — gets close to the gut-retching dreadfulness of wheatgrass.
“The day wore on and soon I wanted a drink. And then I wanted lunch. So I repaired to the communal dining room — the worst three words in the English language — and was given a beaker of celebrity juice. Which wasn’t a drink. Or lunch.
“It was all lost on me. I’d rather spend a week with Greta Thunberg at a kumbaya festival.”
