Dan Osborne reveals why he will likely never go back to TOWIE: ‘I don’t need the drama…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Osborne “doesn’t need” the drama that comes with being on reality TV.
The 32-year-old star made his name as a regular cast member on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ alongside the likes of Gemma Collins and Mark Wright but almost a decade after he left, he has admitted he would be unlikely to ever consider a comeback to the ITVBe show.
He told new! magazine: “Probably not. I’m alright [laughs]. That just makes for drama, and I don’t need it. No, what am I going to do?”
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who is now married to ‘EastEnders’ actress Jacqueline Jossa and has Ella, nine, and Mia, five, with her as well as 10-year-old Teddy with former partner Megan Tomlin – also admitted when asked if he is still a fan of the genre, that he doesn’t really pay things like ‘Love Island’ any attention.
He said: “Not really. I know a few previous contestants; I’ve done a few charity football matches and got to meet them there, and that’s when I found out they’ve been on ‘Love Island’, but I just don’t watch it. I prefer to put on a good series or a movie. And with Love Island, they’re all on it for some followers and a bit of a link-up with PrettyLittleThing [the clothing brand] – I don’t think they’re actually on it for love. It’s just not my thing.”
Meanwhile, Dan also noted that it is unlikely that he and Jacqueline will ever have any more children, especially now that she has returned to the role of Lauren Branning full-time on the BBC One soap.
He said: “I don’t think we’ll have any more. I think we’re good. We have spoken about it, but Jacqueline’s back at work now. Our youngest one, Mia, is nearly six, and it’s hard to go back and start all over again. Three is a good number as well.”

Loose Women star Brenda Edwards insists she is ‘fine’ being single

OHMYGOSSIP — Brenda Edwards “hasn’t got time” for romance.
The 55-year-old TV star has daughter Tanisha and late son Jamal – who died in 2022 at the age of just 31 – – from a previous relationship but insisted that she is “fine” being single and doesn’t need any form of partner in her life.
She told Woman’s Own: “No, I’m single and loving it. I don’t need a man, or a woman. I’m fine with just me, myself and I. You’ve got to enjoy your own company. Plus, I’m really busy, so I haven’t got the time to date!”
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist shot to fame when she took part in ‘The X Factor’ in 2005 and has since carved out a successful career in musical theatre with roles in shows such as ‘Hairspray’ and ‘We Will Rock You’ but admitted that she is no longer in touch with the judges who mentored her during the competition.
She said: “They’re all busy. Sharon [Osbourne] came to see me star in a couple of shows, like ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Chicago’, but I’m not really in touch with any of the judges. As far as the acts are concerned, I’m in contact with Chico, Andy Abraham, Fleur East of course, and The Conway Sisters.”
However, Brenda would be keen to see the talent show – which was axed in 2018 after 15 series – make a comeback and would even be keen to go back on it.
She said: “I’d love it to return and I’d love to go on it again because during my time there we used backing tracks, but then two years later they introduced live bands. I think any singer would love to sing with a live band.”

Jeff Nichols plans to make Alien Nation next

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Nichols is hoping to make ‘Alien Nation’ his next movie.
The 45-year-old director has spent years trying to bring the sci-fi project to the big screen and has now turned to Paramount to get the $100 million picture made.
Jeff told The Hollywood Reporter: “I’m trying to (get it made) right now. It’s a big movie, though. It’s an expensive movie, and the truth is, when you want to work at those budget levels, you just have to turn over control to that system.
“And that system is strange. That system is complicated, and sadly, it operates, a lot of times out of fear. Nobody wants to get fired, nobody wants to mess up. It’s a tremendous amount of money that they could spend on something like that, and I don’t have control over it.”
‘The Bikeriders’ director is willing to make concessions to the big studios if it enables the movie to get made, even if he would prefer not to.
He said: “I can maybe make it for under $100 million; we can pull levers like that, but it’s going to have to be made in that system. And I don’t want to work in that system. That’s not my desire.
“I don’t want to have to jump through these hoops, but I want to work in scope. I want to work in scale. I always have. So I want to try my hand at it, and I think I have a story that warrants it.
“We’ll see if the universe aligns in order for me to make it. I don’t know. But I’m not scared of it because I know what the story is. If they’ll just let me make the story, then things will be alright.”

Natalie Portman treasures Star Wars experience despite fan backlash

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman has fond memories of the ‘Star Wars’ prequel trilogy despite the backlash the films got from fans.
The 43-year-old actress played Padme Amidala in the pictures and is proud to have been involved in the franchise even though they are viewed unfavourably by audiences.
Natalie told Total Film magazine: “I see it as an extraordinary lucky thing to have been part of.
“I know how meaningful it is for people. And, every day, still, people are like, ‘I just watched it with my kids.’ To be part of something like that that’s part of that cultural mythology, and part of people’s childhoods, in such a vibrant way, is so, so lucky.”
The ‘Black Swan’ star continued: “And, yeah, I think obviously with the reaction to them when they came out, being as harsh as it was – it was hard.
“And obviously, over time they’ve gained more appreciation, which has been nice, to always feel the balm of time. But, yeah, I feel very blessed to have been part of that, at that moment in my life.”
Natalie confessed last year that she had never seen any of the ‘Star Wars’ movies before being cast as Padme, even though she was “aware of the lingo” of the sci-fi flicks.
She told Radio Times magazine: “I didn’t know the films at all before I was cast!
“I was aware of the lingo, as American culture is so immersed in ‘Star Wars’.
“Even if you’ve never seen the movies, you know what Princess Leia buns are, what a lightsaber is, what a Jedi is, you know who Yoda and Obi-Wan are… you know all these words and names before you even see the films.
“But I only saw the films when I was approached to do them.”

Dame Prue Leith avoids breakfast and lunch when filming Great British Bake Off

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Prue Leith only eats teaspoons of cake per ‘Bake Off’ episode so she doesn’t pile on the pounds.
The 84-year-old food expert took over from Dame Mary Berry, 89, as judge alongside Paul Hollywood, 58, when the programme moved from BBC One to Channel 4 seven years ago, and she has revealed she avoids eating breakfast and lunch to make way for her cake testing.
Speaking on the ‘Crazy Sexy Food’ podcast, she said: “It’s not a problem, because if you think about it even if there are 12 bakers in there and we’re judging the showstopper if I’m clever and I can get a teaspoon that gets a bit of icing, a bit of filling and a bit of cake, it’s only a teaspoon, so it’s 12 teaspoons. If you do that twice in the first day when we do the first two challenges and then once on the next day it’s not that much. But I don’t eat breakfast and I don’t eat lunch so basically I get my calories from the cake.
“Paul doesn’t get fat and he eats everything, including breakfast and lunch! Some people can just do it.”
Prue admits it’s a very intense process to get on the show and the bakers are under immense pressure, even before they are filmed.
She shared: “I think that’s one of the great secrets of it. Because it’s taken really seriously, Paul and I want to see really perfect bakes, so the expectation is very high.
“The bakers, to get there, have had six months of intense practicing and competition and then finally sending it in.
“Getting through the process of actually getting onto Bake Off is enormously difficult, and there they are, they’re finally there and they don’t want to mess it up, they’ve spent six months of their lives getting there and they don’t want to mess it up.
“The tension grows during the series because they think, ‘My God, there is a chance that I could actually win.’ And of course any one of them could win. If you think thousands and thousands of people apply to Bake Off and you’ve got 12 which have been judged to be the best out of these thousands so of course they could all win Bake Off, they are all up to it. And they all know that, they know that they’re in with a chance so of course they’re very anxious and tense.”

Michael Sarnoski embraced creative freedom on A Quiet Place: Day One

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Sarnoski is grateful that John Krasinski gave him the freedom to experiment on ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’.
The ‘Pig’ director helms just his second feature film with the horror prequel and was delighted to be entrusted by Krasinski to put his own spin on the story.
Michael told Empire magazine: “When (Krasinski) first brought me onto the project, his directive was, ‘Can you bring some of that ‘Pig’ touch to the ‘A Quiet Place’ universe?’
“What he wanted was to see someone else play in the sandbox he had created. Finding those differences was exciting. It wasn’t something that we leaned away from.”
Joseph Quinn, who plays Eric in the film, hailed the decision to take a “risk” by giving Sarnoski the reins behind the camera.
The 30-year-old actor said: “I think it’s a really brave thing, because franchises rarely want to take risks. And I think it’s a bit more interesting to take a bit of a risk.”
Sarnoski explained that the responsibility of overseeing a major horror film emphasised the importance of not being fearful behind the camera.
He said: “It’s something that I learned on ‘Pig’ as well: don’t be scared of taking big swings and trying new things.
“I could have gone into this terrified, but I decided to just be like, ‘I’m just gonna give it a shot, hope for the best, and be daring with stuff.'”
The filmmaker added that he put more importance on forming strong characters before moving on to the scary scenes.
He said: “I approached it the same way I would approach anything, which is to create a character and put them in these situations and just feel what they’re feeling.
“I wasn’t trying to engineer scares so much as create a character and engineer environments in which they would be on the edge of their seats, so that the audience can be as well.”

Jesse Plemons thinks audiences will be ‘sick to their stomachs’ after seeing Kinds of Kindness

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesse Plemons admits that ‘Kinds of Kindness’ could make audiences “sick to their stomachs”.
The 36-year-old actor plays three different roles in the absurdist movie from director Yorgos Lanthimos and explained that viewers may share the sense of queasiness he felt after reading the script.
Jesse told The Hollywood Reporter at the movie’s New York premiere on Thursday (20.06.24): “There are some sequences in that that I feel like would make a lot of people sick to their stomachs.”
The ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ actor thinks that the “surreal” picture is unique without being “weird” for the sake of it.
Jesse said: “It’s also a type of movie that I feel like you don’t get to see all that often nowadays, that is very strange and surreal and abstract and dream-like, nightmarish, but it isn’t, in my opinion, weird just for the sake of being weird.
“Yorgos has this way of taking these really universal, simple themes and sort of turning them on their head and exploring them in really strange but really human ways.
“So I found it really emotionally charged reading the script but couldn’t exactly articulate why or what had just happened to me reading the script.”
Plemons also lavished praise on his “fearless” co-star Emma Stone who has teamed up with Lanthimos for the fourth time on the movie – fresh off the back of her Oscar-winning performance in his film ‘Poor Things’.
He said: “(They) have obviously found this amazing partnership. She takes the work very seriously but doesn’t take herself seriously, which I find nice and refreshing.”

Jennifer Lawrence cast in murder mystery The Wives

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lawrence is to star in and produce ‘The Wives’.
The 33-year-old actress has boarded the cast of the murder mystery flick that has been acquired by Apple Original Films in what is described as a “highly competitive situation”.
Plot details are yet to be revealed, but the film is said to be inspired by the ‘Real Housewives’ TV franchise that centres on the antics of well-to-do women in various locations across the United States.
Jennifer will produce alongside Justine Ciarrocchi for her Excellent Cadaver company with the pair also joined by Jeremy O. Harris and Josh Godfrey.
No director is on board at the moment, but the script has been written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley.
Meanwhile, Jennifer admitted last year that she is “scared” of working alongside Method actors – where performers stay in character even when they aren’t filming – as she wouldn’t know how to communicate with them off-camera.
Speaking on the YouTube series ‘Hot Ones’, she said: “I would be scared to work with somebody who’s Method because I would have no idea how to talk to them. Like, do I have to be in character?
“That would just make me nervous. But I haven’t seen another process that I’ve been curious about, because you don’t really know about them all the time.”
Lawrence revealed that she learnt a lot about the acting process when she starred opposite Christian Bale in the 2013 film ‘American Hustle’.
She said: “I had always been very on/off, on/off until I did ‘American Hustle’ when I worked with Christian Bale and I noticed when the camera started rolling and the crew kind of started preparing like it was going to be 10 seconds or whatever until action, he would start getting ready.
“And then I saw that and I was like, ‘That seems like a really good idea.’ And then I started to do that.”

Dr. Michael Mosley’s widow vows to continue his legacy in emotional tribute

OHMYGOSSIP — Dr. Michael Mosley’s widow has vowed to continue his work as she paid tribute to her husband.
The TV doctor passed away at the age of 67 earlier this month on the Greek island of Symi after he vanished during a walk in sweltering temperatures whilst holidaying with his wife Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley and his grieving partner has taken to social media to thank the public for their “outpouring of love” in the wake of the health expert’s death.
She posted on Instagram: “Thank you all for your wonderfully supportive messages. The outpouring of love from so many people has meant a huge amount to me and my family.
“I’m going to be quiet for a while. I’m sure you will understand. But I will be back here soon. I very much want to continue with the work that gave Michael and myself so much joy and such a sense of purpose.
“Once more thank you so much for respecting my family’s privacy so kindly.
“Michael was an amazing man. Thank you for seeing that too. We miss him so much.”
Dr. Mosley – who presented shows such as the BBC programme ‘Trust Me, I’m A Doctor’ – had reportedly been offered the chance to appear as contestant on the next series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ prior to his tragic death.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: “He told me just the week before last he’d been invited to do ‘Strictly’.”
Another insider added to the publication: “Dr. Mosley would have been a hugely loveable contestant, exactly what the show needs.”

Giovanni Pernice set to join Italian version of Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Giovanni Pernice is in talks to join the Italian version of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 33-year-old dancer will not be part of the professional line-up on this year’s series of the hit BBC show amid allegations of “threatening and abusive behaviour” towards his former partners on the programme but is set to return to the dancefloor in his homeland on ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
A source told MailOnline: “Giovanni is in advanced talks to join the Italian version of ‘Strictly’, ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
“Bosses are really keen to sign him up as a judge given his fame and status in the UK but are also open to the dancer performing as a professional, if he still wants to compete.
“It’s a great move for Giovanni, who has weighed up the possibility of doing shows like ‘I’m A Celebrity (Get Me Out Of Here)’, but dance will always be his passion.
“All he wants is a fresh start and to join ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Italy will certainly give him the new chapter he’s been hoping for.”
‘Strictly’ head judge Shirley Ballas defended Giovanni recently and claimed that the “truth will come out” regarding the allegations.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “He has always been to me, and I will make that clear, to me, a perfect gentleman.
“My feeling for Giovanni is, let them do this investigation or whatever it is they are doing and the truth will come out.
“I have never ever, ever experienced any ill will or bad feeling or bad sportsmanship or rudeness from him.”
The 63-year-old dancer admitted she can only reflect on her “own perspective”, and she refused to pass judgement until she knows “100 percent it is true”.
She said: “You know, I can only talk from my own perspective. I have known Giovanni for 10 years. I know he is a hard worker. He wants the people to do the very best that they can do.
“Obviously in my life I was bullied a lot. I don’t condone bullying on any path but also I don’t believe gossip because things get escalated and they are blown way out of all proportion and it can turn into a great big snowball.
“So we don’t judge anybody until I know absolutely 100 per cent. I won’t pass on the gossip unless I know 100 per cent it is true. He will be missed.”

Millie Court: Joey Essex has been great for Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Court says Joey Essex “knows what he’s doing” on ‘Love Island’.
The 27-year-old star won the seventh series of the ITV2 dating programme alongside Liam Reardon in 2021 and praised the reality star for “putting on a good show” in the villa as a result of his experience on a range of reality TV programmes.
Speaking to MailOnline, Millie said: “His [Joey’s] was a really good entrance and I think that it was pretty iconic and he’s been really iconic. He’s obviously been bringing the drama, which is always good.
“And well, it’s Joey Essex, he’s been in lots of reality TV shows before, so I feel like he knows what he’s doing. He’s putting on a good show. It’s what we all want to see.
“Drama at the end of the day is what keeps people watching Love Island, isn’t it. So as long as he keeps bringing that, then he’ll stay in.”
Millie also suggested that programme bosses deserve credit for making the former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star the show’s first celebrity islander.
She said: “I think it was pretty iconic of ‘Love Island’ to sign him though, everyone was really shocked and wasn’t expecting it because in the past it’s just been ex-Islanders coming in and I think now obviously ‘Love Island’ has stepped away from that and just getting celebrities in general to come in, so they’ve upped their game.”
Millie added that she thinks some of this year’s islanders have entered with a “game plan” which she considers to be the wrong approach for the show.
She said: “To be honest with you, I think people might have gone in there with a bit of a game plan, and I just think there’s no point in doing that.
“I think just be really true to yourself and get the connections and try not to force anything.”

Suranne Jones thinks she would have been viewed as a witch in the 17th century

OHMYGOSSIP — Suranne Jones thinks she would have been considered as a witch back in the 17th century.
The 45-year-old actress hosts the new Channel 4 documentary ‘Suranne Jones: Investigating Witch Trials’ and explained how she has many characterises in common with those who were considered to have evil magic powers.
Suranne told the Daily Express Saturday magazine: “I wouldn’t have survived!
“I’m a creative, I’m outspoken, I change my look all the time, I tell stories, I love animals… I mean, it sounds mad, doesn’t it?
“I have mental health issues and I’m perimenopausal, so that’s surely not going to wash well because surely you’re a witch if you’re sweating too much or your hormones are all over the place and it’s affecting you so you get angry.”
The ‘Doctor Foster’ star added that her birthmarks and moles would also like mean that she was condemned.
Suranne said: “I’ve got birthmarks and moles everywhere, so they would have been witch marks too.
“Everything about me as a person would have made them think that they needed to get rid of me because I would not have worked in their societal picture, for sure.”
The ‘Gentleman Jack’ actress has worked with her producer husband Laurence Akers on the two-part documentary and explained that it stemmed for a lifelong interest in “folklore”.
Jones said: “I’ve always loved literature on folklore, fairy tales, witches and vampires.
“I always wanted to play the witch when I was younger, rather than a princess, and then when I got married, my husband was always saying, ‘Is that another witch book you’r reading?’
“So, when we started our production company, he wrote a brilliant treatment for me and sent it off and the next thing we knew, it was commissioned.”

Billy Zane: Give actors ’emotional stunt pay’

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Zane believes actors should be given “emotional stunt pay”.
The 58-year-old actor put on weight and had to film several abuse scenes for his role as cult leader Larry Ray in ‘Devil on Campus: The Larry Ray Story’ – in which he plays a former prisoner who moved into his daughter’s dorm at Sarah Lawrence college in 2010 and took control of her roommates’ lives for over a decade before he was jailed for 60 years – and he admitted the production sparked “weird trauma” in his body.
He told Entertainment Weekly: “Actors should get emotional stunt pay.
“The secondary experience encroaches on the primary. It really does. You’re recreating much weird trauma. We’re putting coursing adrenaline through our bodies and depleting serotonin and dopamine and freaking ourselves out and the body registers it.”
Despite the emotional toll of the role, the ‘Titanic’ star mostly “enjoyed” his physical transformation.
He said: “[It required] “putting on a bunch of weight because he was imposing not just in height but in mass.
“Getting a big belly. He was obviously trying to feed something. I think there was trauma eating going on there.
“Then the accent, and the weird affectation of his lisp. It’s a lot to chew on, so to speak.”
And Billy was thankful the film is a Lifetime movie because of the “restraint” the network asks for, meaning the story wasn’t “eclipsed” by sex and violence.
He said: “I’ve played nefarious characters in the past and then shied from it for a while.
“I couldn’t resist this one because of just the curious nature of it. And I hadn’t gone there in a while like this.
“I liked the platform a lot for it. I have never done a Lifetime movie. I hadn’t considered it. And I thought the network was so well suited for the story, because had it been on any other streamer, the story would’ve been eclipsed by graphic nudity and violence.
“The fact that there was restraint and a level of censorship required in this story, we could go deeper into character.”

Karen Gillan adopts James Gunn’s style in her directing work

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Gillan has “learned so much” about directing through her work with James Gunn.
The 36-year-old actress starred in the filmmaker’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise as Nebula and explained that she is channelling his style in her own work behind the camera – which started with the 2018 picture ‘The Party’s Just Beginning’.
Speaking to Collider, Karen said: “I’ve learned so much from him. He’s an extraordinary director. He’s actually such a natural leader. You feel like, ‘Okay, we’ve got someone leading this thing that really knows what they want and is incredibly decisive.’
“You just feel like you’re in safe hands with somebody with those traits because he’s gonna keep you on track when you try these big swings.”
The former ‘Doctor Who’ star added: “And then, his shots are all incredible. He’s got the balance of it looking really cool, but it also being really actor focused.
“Sometimes it’s one or the other, but he’s got both, which is really, really exciting.”
Karen explained that she wants to helm a film in the horror genre but is yet to settle on an idea.
Quizzed about a return to directing, she said: “Yeah, definitely. I have just not been able to find the right project. It just needs to be something that I create because otherwise it’s really hard for me to feel that feeling of being the person that needs to tell this story.
“So, I do have my next idea and we are starting to get the wheels in motion for that, but I can’t really say too much yet. It’s really early days, but it will definitely have a little bit more of a horror genre to it.”

Michael Shannon not allowed ‘near a motorcycle’ on The Bikeriders set

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Shannon “wasn’t allowed to get near a motorcycle” on the set of ‘The Bikeriders’.
The 49-year-old star was one of the few actors who opted not to learn how to ride for Jeff Nichols’ new movie, which also stars Austin Butler, Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy.
The director laughed on the ‘ReelBlend’ podcast: “To be honest, all of them had to go through training. Now, some guys took to it better than others. Sadly, for everyone, Michael Shannon wasn’t allowed to get near a motorcycle. We barely let him lean on a motorcycle.”
The filmmaker previously worked with the actor on 2016 sci-fi saga ‘Midnight Special’, where Michael’s lack of experience behind the wheel was also an issue.
He continued: “You know, when we made ‘Midnight Special’, he didn’t even have a driver’s license.
“It was like, we gotta teach Mike how to drive in this chase scene.
“I mean, he’s great. He’s obviously a genius and super talented, so I imagine, had we put him on a bike, he would have learned it very quickly. But that was one of the first questions he asked, he was like, ‘I don’t have to learn how to ride, do I?’”
While Michael didn’t want to get on a bike, co-star Austin has always been a fan of motorcycles thanks to his dad.
He recently told People magazine: “My dad rode motorcycles, so I think… It’s been cool to get to talk about my dad a lot recently because he gave me that first love of motorcycles.”
The ‘Elvis’ actor narrowly avoided serious injury when he came off his motorbike during filming.
He said: “We were doing a night shoot and hit a patch of wet leaves and I went down, but I thankfully landed on my feet.
“All I was thinking about was the bike, though. I just wanted to make sure that it was okay.”

Suranne Jones talks potential third series of Vigil

OHMYGOSSIP — Suranne Jones will only make a third season of ‘Vigil’ if it is the “right story”.
The 45-year-old actress reprised her role as DCI Amy Silva for a second series of the hit BBC drama in December, with her character travelling to the Middle East to investigate a drone killing, and though she suggested she’d be on board to play the character again, she’d only agree to do so if it was being made for the right reasons.
Asked about a third season, she said on the ‘Radio Times Podcast’: “I don’t know, maybe I’ll have to make a call to my agent
“We’ve done two [seasons], so there has been mention of a three, but as ever it has to be the right story and everyone has to agree that it’s the right thing. So, maybe.”
Show creator Tom Edge previously insisted he would only make a third installment if there was “something urgent to be said”, but hinted there were plenty of possibilities.
Speaking at a Q + A for season 2, he said: “I think we never take anything for granted in terms of actors. I mean, these actors are incredible, and they are offered so many jobs, and it’s a useful thought to think we have to have a shot at earning their time, their pick, and that is a reasonably high bar.
“So, if we think about doing that, it has to feel like there is something urgent to be said, on both the character level and in terms of the domain that we may intend to unpack those questions. But I will say the world doesn’t seem short on turbulence or question marks.”
Suranne previously drew comparisons between herself and her character in the show.
She said: “I think when you fall in love with the character, and it’s just a one off piece, you wish you could have developed or delved more, or there’s things you’d want to know. So coming back to second series is great.
“Being a woman who constantly wants to prove herself and feels like a responsibility of many people, when we’re out filming and when crews are doing lots for us – I think Amy and I share that.
“I have a child. I share that [with Amy]. I’m constantly trying to balance my life and my career. I share that.
“I’ve had issues with anxiety, which Amy has had. So there’s a lot of things that I can relate to. That’s the beauty of finding the characters where you can go, ‘that’s the one’ when you read it.”
