Vanessa Feltz’s ex Ben Ofoedu splits from Precious Muir

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Feltz’s ex Ben Ofoedu has split from Precious Muir.
Vanessa, 62, endured a public breakup last year when she discovered her then-fiancé Ben had been unfaithful at times during their 16-year relationship.
Ben, 52, went on to date Precious but the pair have now called time on their romance, despite previously telling friends they planned to wed.
He told MailOnline: “I could always see a future with Precious because we connect so well, laugh so much and enjoy one another.
“However, with both our schedules being so manic and life moving so fast we have decided to part ways romantically but hold onto our friendship.”
Precious added: “Ben needs a partner who can settle down right now and have children sooner rather than later. Due to our age difference, for me, I would like to wait a bit longer, perhaps within five years’ time, who knows.
“There is nothing worse than misleading someone once you know how you feel about something like this and know how important it is to the other person.
“I will always love him to pieces and wish the best for him. He’s a good man and has only treated me like a princess.”
Ben and Precious started dating after meeting at London Fashion Week last year and Precious said: “We talk about everything and always encourage each other that’s why it’s so hard to separate but we both know we can’t have the relationship we used to have.
“The pressure of expectations on our public relationship made things very difficult.”
Ben said: “To be truly romantically involved with someone it deserves time and due to the nature of our work, this is something we both cannot give at this very moment.”

Frank Skinner blasts Celebrity Gogglebox

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Skinner has blasted ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’.
The 67-year-old star joined forces with fellow comedian David Baddiel, 60, to record an episode of the Channel 4 show but he was not impressed with the process.
Speaking on his podcast ‘Frank Off The Radio’, Frank said: “So you sit in a room – you only watch like ten minutes of a programme.
“We’re sitting watching the telly and we start talking, and a voice says ‘Say something about his jacket’. Then it would stop, and they’d say ‘Can you not go into digressions, it’s funny if you keep it close to what’s actually happening’.
“It’s such a shame because I think we could have had a laugh and stuff.
“But to be fair to them, they know how to make it – they’ve been making it for years.
“The producer was a really nice guy, they were nice people, they got me fish and chips.”
He also took a swipe at the regular cast of the show, saying “But they’ve been working with a lot of non-professionals on ‘Gogglebox’, who probably need a lot of guidance. Why change a winning formula?”
“I think it’s quite helpful as you get older and you’ve got less time, to within a couple of weeks discover two things that you know you’ll never do again.
Frank revealed he made his feelings known to the producers.
He said: “And pretty soon I’m thinking ‘just please make this stop’. And when I left – I’d made it pretty clear in a politer way – I said ‘Sorry, I thought this was going to be like enjoyable’.
“As I left I said ‘anyway good luck with all of it’, and the producer said ‘you’re not going to watch it are you?’ And I said ‘No, no, I’m not going to watch it’ – and I haven’t.”

Jamie Borthwick pleased he’s ‘stayed the course’ on ‘EastEnders’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Borthwick is “very pleased” he’s managed to “stay the course” on ‘EastEnders’.
The 30-year-old actor has played Jay Brown on the soap since he was just 12 years old and while he has “loved every minute” of working on the show, he’s sometimes amazed at what he’s achieved while working alongside acting greats such as June Brown and the late Dame Barbara Windsor.
Jamie – who is currently competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with Michelle Tsiakkas – told the Mirror’s ‘Invite Only’ podcast: “Now I’m older, I’ve realised, ‘Wow, I’ve done all that.’ The same with ‘Strictly’. I watch myself and think, ‘Who is that person?’ It’s like an out-of-body experience.
“I’ve loved every minute of my time at ‘EastEnders’. It’s the people there – they’re fantastic.
“And it’s the same with ‘Strictly’. It’s the people that make a job, not what you are doing.
“I’m very pleased that I’ve stayed the course as well.
“You know, there was a lot of opportunity for them to lose me and there was opportunity for me to go elsewhere.”
Jamie has been forced to delay his impending house move because of his busy schedule as he is currently training eight hours a day for ‘Strictly’, as well as filming ‘EastEnders’.
He said: “There are very exciting times ahead.
“The move is on hold at the minute because I haven’t had a chance to do anything, even get a haircut.
“I’ve got my work cut out to furnish a whole house.”
Jamie and Michelle performed an Argentine tango to ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ by the Arctic Monkeys on Saturday’s (09.11.24) show and he hoped it was enough to keep him in the competition for another week so he can dance at Blackpool Tower.
He said: “Blackpool is the marker I set myself when I signed up to do the show.
“I’ve just got to try and deliver now.”

Dianne Buswell hails partnership with Chris McCausland as her ‘biggest achievement’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dianne Buswell has branded teaching Chris McCausland to dance her “biggest achievement”.
The 35-year-old dancer admitted she had “doubts and fears” when she was first partnered with the blind comedian on this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ but they are now among the favourites to win the competition, and she couldn’t be more proud.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Like Chris, I had my own doubts and fears.
“It was scary. I was so excited but was worried I wasn’t the right person for the job.
“Dancing with Chris has been difficult at times but it has been the most rewarding experience of my career and my biggest achievement.”
Dianne – who came second in 2018 with now-boyfriend Joe Sugg and last year with Bobby Brazier – has had to overhaul her teaching methods when working with Chris.
She explained: “I have had to adapt how I teach. I can’t teach visually with Chris – we’ve had to rely on touch and verbal instructions instead.”
Meanwhile, the 47-year-old comic has revealed he was approached for the show “a few times” in the past but was too scared to take part.
However, he eventually felt “selfish” for not signing up as he knows “representation is important”.
He said: “I said no to this a few times because of my fear.
“I was given an opportunity to represent a group of people on the biggest show on the telly but I wasn’t doing it because I was scared.
“But representation is important, so in the end, I thought not doing it would be selfish.”
And the experience has taught the stand-up star to face his fears in the future.
He added: “It will take a lot to scare me in the future.
“The scariest things I’ve done professionally have always been the most rewarding – but this is off the chart.”

Paul Gascoigne rejected from I’m A Celebrity… five times

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Gascoigne has been rejected from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ five times.
The 57-year-old former footballer – who has struggled with addiction – claimed he had been approached by programme bosses multiple times but during the vetting process, psychiatrists have refused to sign him off to appear on the show.
Paul – who took part in the Italian version of the show, L’Isola Dei Famosi’, in 2021 but had to withdraw after injuring his shoulder – was asked why he had never gone on the show during his ‘An Evening With…’ show in Worthing, West Sussex, on Thursday (07.11.24).
According to The Sun Online, he said: “Well unfortunately right, this is truth to God, ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’, the producers wanted me to go on.
“But you had to see a psychiatrist. If you pass the psychiatrist’s test, you’re in. I failed five f****** times!
“And to be honest, the first time I went to see her I was on cocaine, so she must have f****** knew.
“Second time I told her to f*** off. Third time never wanted to f****** see her again so didn’t really go down too well.”
However, the England legend, who is affectionately known as Gazza, admitted he was relieved not to have taken part.
He added: “When I say I’d like to go in there…once it starts…f*** me I’m sh*t scared. I hate f****** snakes cos I met f****** plenty in my career!
“I suffer from claustrophobia badly. So I’m sometimes glad I give it a miss.”
Last year, Gazza won ‘Scared Of The Dark’, which saw celebrities including Chris Eubank live in complete darkness for eight days, but he wouldn’t do it again.
He said: “I did thingy in the dark – never do that again.
“Will I f***! Jesus Christ. F****** Eubank, prick!”

Tom Hardy’s stunt double steps in when he’s ‘scared’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy relies on his stunt double when he gets “scared”.
The 47-year-old actor is happy to do as much filming action scenes as he is “allowed” to do but is happy to let his long-term collaborator Jacob Tomuri get to grips with the “dangerous stuff”, such as scenes in his new film ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ involving a motorbike and a dog fight.
He told Britain’s HELLO! Magazine: “I do as much as I’m allowed to do then Jacob does the rest. I’ve worked with him for years, since ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ [in 2015].
“He’s not only a great stunt double for when I need it, he does a great impression of me too.
“We wrote him a little scene for ‘Last Dance’ where he pees on my feet and I slap him as hard as I possibly can before we drag him across the floor on a big rope.
“Jacob takes over when I get scared to do something or the insurance guys say I’m not allowed to.”
And the latest ‘Venom’ movie features a lot of action.
Tom said: “There was a lot more wire work on this one.
“All the falling off planes, flying on a horse and parachuting meant that I spent a lot of time in the air, which is never easy.
“We also have underwater scenes, which meant yet more time on wires.”
Because the film marks Tom’s third and last outing as Venom/ Eddie Brock, the actor made sure he took plenty of souvenirs home from the set.
He laughed: “I’ve taken things home from the set, even if it’s somebody else’s.
“If it’s not nailed down, I’ll have it.”

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s company was inspired by The Beatles

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company was inspired by Sir Peter Jackson’s Beatles documentary series.
The ‘Good Will Hunting’ stars formed Artists Equity two years ago, and Matt recalled watching ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ with his daughter and becoming emotional about how much they “clearly loved” working together but no longer having the opportunity to do so, which led to him urging his good friend to work more closely together again.
Matt told Deadline: “Ben and I hadn’t written together in so long, and I watched that Peter Jackson Beatles documentary, the one that ends with that performance on the roof.
“These guys are playing, and it’s The Beatles, and they’re live and you can see the joy that they’re playing with. They’re so excited and then Peter Jackson puts a chyron up that says, this is the last live performance that the Beatles ever gave.
“I was watching it with my youngest daughter and she turned and looked at me. She said, ‘Dad, why are you crying?’ I had tears running down my face because of the missed opportunity that these four incredible musicians who clearly loved each other never got.
“That was the impetus behind putting this company together.
“I was like, what are we doing, man? Both of us, this is what we love to do more than anything. The only thing better is doing it together, in any capacity, whether he’s directing or whether we’re acting together or whether we’re producing together, or whether we’re just facilitating for other filmmakers. How much life do we have left and what are we going to do with it?”
While Ben works “exclusively” on Artists Equity projects, his pal is free to work on other projects and the pair admitted the connections he has made as a result have hugely helped their company.
Ben said: “Matt’s integrity, his reputation built over 30 years of working alongside people and getting to know them and people knowing and understanding that Matt’s somebody who’s good for his word, and is such an incredibly meaningful, powerful asset to our business.”
Matt added: “But it’s also just our relationships in general, right? We’ve been on the other side of the camera our whole lives, and suddenly have this little studio. Something like ‘The Instigators’ comes up, Casey [Affleck] sends the script to me, I put it to the side and don’t read it. [My wife] Lucy reads it and tells m, ‘Y got to read this one.’
“So I read it and Casey and I start talking about it. Well, who would be the best person to direct this? Hey, what about Doug Liman?
“And that’s just a phone call, with no intermediaries because we all know each other. I just called Doug up and I say, ‘Hey, I’m going to text you this script, take a look. I think it’s really good. Casey wrote it and we want to do it with you.’ And the next day Doug’s calling back going, yeah, I want to do it.”

Colin Farrell has ‘heard’ he’s wanted for Batman 2 but not read a script yet

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Farrell has “heard” The Penguin will feature in ‘The Batman 2’.
The 48-year-old actor played Oz Cobb and his villainous alter ego in 2022’s ‘The Batman’ and reprised the role for an HBO spin-off series, but while he’s expected to return for director Matt Reeves’ upcoming sequel – which stars Robert Pattinson in the title role – he admitted he hasn’t yet seen a script, though he’s looking forward to seeing what the filmmaker has in mind.
Speaking on SiriusXM’s ‘The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham’, he said: “I have no idea what the second film is gonna be. I heard Penguin features in it. I haven’t read it.
“It’d be interesting to see where we pick up from. There’s been so much pipe laid. It’d be interesting to see where it goes from here, you know? But he would be quite different.”
Director Matt confirmed in September he is still planning to make ‘The Batman’ a trilogy.
He told Collider: “Yes, that is still the plan. I mean, it’s sticking very closely to the path we envisioned.”
And he admitted ‘The Penguin’ TV series would help progress the character in the films.
He said: “When we came up with the idea to do ‘The Penguin’, that was something where I had always intended to continue Penguin’s story, and wanted to tell this story of his beginning of rise to power.
“Because we know that he’s introduced in ‘The Batman’ as a kind of mid-level, sort of overlooked, mocked figure, who’s not yet in anyone’s eyes the kingpin we come to know him as in the lore.
“And so, that was deliberate because I wanted— whereas it wasn’t Batman’s origin story, I wanted the origin stories of these other characters, of the Rogues Gallery and that story was originally going to be the entrée into the next movie.
“It’s still the same kind of trajectory of story, but the entry point for where Oz is is now that he’s further along as we enter that story than he would have been if we had started that story in the movie instead of by doing a series.”

Shayne Ward exits Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Shayne Ward has exited ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 40-year-old star has become the seventh celebrity to depart the BBC show, after losing out in the dance-off against Wynne Evans and his professional partner Katya Jones.
After his exit was announced, Shayne said: “I just want to say, you guys up there [the other contestants] are a dream. Every single day, coming in here and seeing you guys you helped me so much.
“I want to say thank you to the audience as well, for always being amazing for us all. This has been, honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever done.”
Shayne feels proud of the progress he’s made during his time on the show.
The actor also thanked Nancy Xu, his professional partner, for her help and support.
He explained: “I’m proud that I made it to eight weeks as a novice dancer.
“A massive thank you goes to this incredible human right next to me [Nancy], who has put so much fire in me and made me believe that I can actually achieve more if I let myself go.
“I’m sorry it didn’t work out to the end, but I’m super proud that I got to meet you and dance with you, so thank you.”
Meanwhile, Nancy revealed that she relished working with Shayne, admitting that she “adored” their partnership.
The 33-year-old dancer said: “I’m beyond proud of this dance partnership.
“Shayne from week one until this point, every second you put your feet on the dancefloor you improved yourself. You’re a deep thinker, you always doubt yourself, you never believed in yourself, but I never ever questioned you.
“When I watch you, I feel proud because I’ve turned someone who has never ever danced in their life into an amazing dancer. You should believe in yourself. I adored this partnership.”

Nicole Kidman ‘turned on’ by Babygirl script

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman was “turned on” by the ‘Babygirl’ script.
The 57-year-old actress stars in the erotic thriller as chief executive Romy, who is married to Jacob (Antonio Banderas) but embarks on an affair with her intern, Samuel (Harris Dickinson), and she was drawn to the project as soon as she read the script because it was so gripping.
She told Britain’s HELLO! Magazine: “I read the script and thought it was funny, but I was also turned on by it.
“I loved that I never knew what was going to happen next and nothing is what it seems as it unravels.”
Nicole admitted she almost reached a point of “burnout” with the sex scenes in the film which was written and directed by Halina Reijn – even though it was all done in a “safe place”.
She said: “There was so much in terms of exposure and just being with Harris and Antonio, as well as Halina.
“It really was a foursome, because we were all in it together and there was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration.
“There were times while we were shooting when I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more! Don’t come near me! I hate doing this! I don’t care if I’m never touched again in my life, I’m over it!’
“It was so present all the time, it was almost like a burnout. But what’s fantastic is that the intimacy you create together is in a safe place.”
Nicole doesn’t think she’d have been able to make the movie without the support of Halina.
She said: “Working with a woman who can act is fabulous. I’d be like, ‘Halina, do it for me. Tell me.’ She can give you a grasp of her ideas because she’s written it, she knows It and it’s deeply personal, so you have this extraordinary guide…
“I don’t think I could have done it with a [male director]. The only way I could do this was with Halina, because the two of us would sit and talk about so many things – and still do – that are secretive and vulnerable but safe.
“There was nothing that was too hard, just days when it was too much, if that makes sense.”

Ridley Scott and Paul Mescal set for new collaboration after Gladiator II

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ridley Scott and Paul Mescal are set to collaborate on a new movie after ‘Gladiator II’.
The 86-year-old filmmaker is expected to shoot ‘The Dog Stars’ thriller in 2025, after he completes work on an untitled Bee Gees movie, and he has tapped Paul, 28, to star, according to Deadline.
The movie is based on Peter Heller 2012 Apocalyptic thriller, which is set in the near future after the world has been ravaged by a pandemic. A civilian pilot lives a lonesome existence in an airplane hangar with his dog and an ex-marine gunman he has befriended. However, when a mysterious transmission comes through on the radio of his old Cessna, the hope of a better life opens up.
Mark L Smith is adapting the novel for Scott and 20th Century Studios.
Smith, Cliff Roberts and Scott Free are producing ‘The Dog Star’.
Meanwhile, Ridley recently revealed why he cast Paul in ‘Gladiator II’.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “My job is to spot actors. I use a very good casting directors, but when I’m prepping something, I’ve already got somebody in mind. I binge TV and saw this thing, ‘Normal People’, and thought: ‘This kid [Paul Mescal] is interesting’ and, ‘he looks like Richard Harris.’ Suddenly it came together: ‘This is Lucius.’ And from that I asked him, ‘Do you want to do the film?’
“My unit was 1,200 personnel and you run it like an army. You have to. One of the first things I said to Paul was, ‘This is all for you. Ignore them all. You can’t be frightened. They’re here to help you.’ Then I walk in knowing exactly what I’m doing that day. Every morning around a table we’re all, ‘We’re doing that, that, that — any problems?’ I use eight-to-eleven cameras, which means we’re moving eight-to-eleven times faster.”

Bobby Norris claims The Only Way Is Essex is ‘going so downhill’ as ratings decline

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobby Norris thinks ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ is “going so downhill” after a slump in ratings.
The 38-year-old star featured on the ITVBe reality show between 2012 and 2021 and has lamented reports that the show’s viewing figures have fallen to just 48,000 from a previous peak of around 1.5 million.
During an appearance on Fubar Radio’s ‘Access All Areas’ show, Bobby said: “I never bashed the show. I loved my time on the show … I was a little bit sad, because in my day there. In the heyday, we used to get between 1.5 million and 2 million [viewers] an episode.
“So when I saw 48,000 viewers, even though I’m not there, it’s sad. I kinda think the legacy is kind of going so downhill now.”
Bobby also questioned whether it is time to give the programme “respect” by bringing it to an end after more than a decade on air.
He said: “Since the day I left, I’ve never watched the show, but if you can’t even pull in 50,000 viewers, I think, do you know what? Give the show the respect.
“It’s like having a dog in the corner of the kitchen that’s dragging a broken leg, like you would be kind, and you’d take him to the vet and let him go to sleep.”
Bobby is grateful that ‘TOWIE’ has given him the opportunity to take part in shows such as ‘Celebs Go Dating’ and ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ and pointed out that other stars such as Joey Essex, Gemma Collins and Pete Wicks have gone to success elsewhere after featuring in the series.
He said: “There’s probably been hundreds of people who’ve done the show over the however-many years it’s been on … to go on and still have careers.
“Thankfully, I’m one of them, but they’re few and far between. It broke barriers. It just kind of makes me a little bit sad. 48,000, oh gosh, it’s less than an Instagram story.”

‘It makes sense’: Kelsey Grammer hints at Only Fools and Horses reunion in Frasier reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelsey Grammer has teased the prospect of an ‘Only Fools and Horses’ reunion between Nicholas Lyndhurst and Sir David Jason in ‘Frasier’.
The 69-year-old actor is joined by Nicholas – who played Rodney Trotter in the iconic BBC comedy – in the reboot of the sitcom as he portrays Harvard professor Alan Cornwall and has hinted at the possibility of David making an appearance in the show as Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter.
Kelsey told Metro: “It makes sense. Who knows? I mean, he could just walk by and say ‘Dipstick’, couldn’t he?
“It might be really fun to have Alan maybe watching it, watching the old show or something?
“There’s any number of ways maybe to make the connection, because, of course it is a nostalgic show and Nick has such a huge, huge presence in the UK – with good reason!”
Kelsey considers Nicholas to be “one of the best actors who ever lived” and suggested that he could give his co-star even more of a central role in future seasons of the Paramount+ comedy.
The star, who plays psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane in the series, said: “He’s one of the best actors who ever lived. There’s no question about his abilities and he’s beloved, so we’ll mine that as much as we possibly can.
“He’s remarkable. I and the writers were talking about, ‘Boy, I can’t wait until maybe next season where Frasier doesn’t even have to do anything at all, we’ll just let Nick have the show’.
“We’re looking forward to what that one might be. We’ve set it up well enough to have him take the reins of the A story in a show pretty soon. We’re working up to that now.”

Alan Halsall’s I’m A Celebrity trial participation at risk after knee injury setback

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Halsall could be ruled out of ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ Bushtucker Trials after suffering another knee injury.
The 42-year-old actor – who plays Tyrone Dobbs in ‘Coronation Street’ – is set to go into the Australian jungle this year after being forced to pull out of the last series as he needed to have knee surgery but a new problem is said to have put his participation in the camp’s attempts to win food under threat.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Alan was meant to be taking part in a padel competition but pulled out at the last minute because his knee was playing up.
“It’s fine now but he just has to be really careful. He might not be able to take part in some of the trials, bosses are currently working out if he will be ruled out of any.
“It’s a huge blow for Alan because he was looking forward to throwing himself into it and now has to be a bit wary.”
Meanwhile, ‘I’m A Celebrity’ bosses have reportedly axed the Walk the Plank trial that saw contestants wobble along a plank suspended at great height before they entered the jungle and are planning a new challenge that is just as scary when the new run begins on November 17.
An industry insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Bosses are staying tight-lipped on exactly what they’ve got lined up to replace the plank, but rest assured it will be equally as terrifying and exhilarating.
“It won’t be an easy ride into camp for the celebrities this year.
“Bosses are pulling out all the stops to ensure the show has a spectacular launch that viewers won’t want to miss.”

Dancing on Ice bosses set up 24-hour bullying hotline for contestants

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Dancing on Ice’ chiefs have set up a 24-hour hotline for contestants to report bullying.
Bosses on the ITV show are said to have sent the 12 celebrities competing in the upcoming series a six-page letter telling them that they can speak out “without fear of abuse” as they seek to avoid the bullying scandal that has engulfed the BBC and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Each of the stars on ‘Dancing on Ice’, which returns to screens in January 2025 with Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern set to return as hosts, will be assigned a producer to ensure their “wellbeing” after the bullying claims made against Giovanni Pernice by his celebrity partner Amanda Abbington and the sacking of Graziano Di Prima for kicking ‘Love Island’ star Zara McDermott cast a shadow over ‘Strictly’.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “ITV puts the welfare of show contestants at the heart of what they do. No one needs another ‘Strictly’ – and ‘Dancing on Ice’ bosses want their stars to feel like they can speak out if something isn’t right.
“They will have access to a 24-hour hotline manned by professionals to raise concerns about any bullying or to get help with their mental health.
“They have also been given a letter outlining what they should expect from the show and how they should conduct themselves.
“This year’s celebs have said they appreciate the measures. To know they have support like this is reassuring.”
The letter warns contestants – including former ‘EastEnders’ star Charlie Brooks, TV personality Ferne McCann and ex-footballer Anton Ferdinand – that taking part in the series could leave them “mentally and physically drained”.
Michael Barrymore, who was due to take part in the 2020 series before withdrawing due to injury, claimed earlier this year that he saw dancers abused on the show – although this was denied by ITV.
The 72-year-old star said: “I find it bewildering that BBC’s ‘Strictly’ is the only production under fire… when ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ treated their celebrities and dancers exactly the same – if not worse.
“Even I witnessed abuse from producers at ITV and I had a very short stint with them.”
A spokesman for the channel responded: “We do not recognise these unsubstantiated claims.”

Lauren Oakley will ‘carry the torch forward’ for Amy Dowden on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Oakley has vowed to “carry the torch forward” for Amy Dowden on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 33-year-old dancer has stepped in to partner JLS singer JB Gill for the rest of the BBC series after Amy was forced to withdraw due to a foot injury and hopes to do her co-star proud by continuing her hard work.
Speaking on spin-off show ‘It Takes Two’ on Thursday (07.11.24), Lauren said: “I think leading on from the groundwork that Amy has put in, I just want to carry the torch forward as much as I can because she’s done all the work.
“So I want to just do the partnership justice and bring my flair as well to JB.”
Lauren added to her celebrity partner: “You have kind of got the best of both worlds, you got to work with a couple of professionals.”
The dancer stated her desire to reach the show’s Blackpool Week and perform at the “mecca of Ballroom and Latin” at the Tower Ballroom.
Lauren said: “It’s just the most special place.”
Amy described how she was “gutted” to leave the show and stressed that it had “nothing to do with any previous health scares” after she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.
She said: “I’m absolutely gutted, unfortunately I have an insufficiency stress fracture, if I’ve said that right, on my shin.
“This injury could have happened to anybody. I want to stress it’s nothing to do with any previous health scares.”
Amy also expressed hope that she could return to the dancefloor in a group number by the end of the series.
The Welsh dancer said: “Hopefully I’ll be back dancing in some capacity, maybe in a group number, by the end of the series.”
