Demi Lovato has wished her fans a happy Thanksgiving.
The 26-year-old star – who recently left rehab following a drug overdose in July – has reached out to her fans on social media to send a simple but sweet message on Thursday (22.11.18).
Taking to Instagram to share a picture of her Thanksgiving meal, the chart-topping star wrote: “Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!! (sic)”
Demi has been noticeably quieter on social media over recent months, but the American singer is reportedly following a strict fitness regime as she continues to work on her sobriety.
A source recently shared: “She’s been working out with a trainer several days per week, eating right, and truly has a whole different mindset.
“She has been following all of the steps and guidelines put in place by her specialists.”
An insider previously claimed that while Demi is doing everything she can to remain healthy, she has found her recovery to be a “struggle”.
The source said: “[Demi] is in a really great place, but she’s doing everything she can to maintain that because she knows every day is a struggle.
“Demi is taking a cautious approach with her recent exit from rehab. She has a sober coach, she is working out and eating healthy, surrounding herself with positive influences … and splits her time in a sober living facility and at home.”
Demi has also recently been spotted with designer Henri Alexander Levy – although an insider has denied speculation they are dating.
The source explained: “Demi wants to be around people who are like-minded and Henri is good energy for her.
“They spend a huge amount of time together but Demi is not focused on dating. Demi is very focused on her health.”

Rita Ora defends lip syncing

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora insists it’s not her “world” to lip sync.
The 27-year-old star has come under fire on social media for lip-syncing her way through Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but Rita has rubbished the criticism, saying that circumstances meant she had no alternative other than to lip sync and that, where possible, she always sings live.
Rita made the comments after the Lithuanian singer Simonna tweeted: “We all know that Rita Ora can sing! Don’t be so quick to judge! Idk, but it’s possible that tv streaming was late or she was getting different playback or that the sound she was hearing in her headphone was different from what we heard. #MacysParade (sic)”
In response, Rita tweeted: “Exactly!! You got that right! You know this girl doesn’t lip sync it’s not my world! Now let me go find some turkey!! (sic)”
The British star subsequently received support from Macy’s, which explained the reasons for Rita’s much-maligned performance.
The company said on the micro-blogging platform: “During today’s NBC broadcast of the #MacysParade several recording artists experienced technical difficulties that negatively impacted their performance. We apologize and want fans to know these issues were out of the artist’s control. (sic)”
Rita – who has just released her long-awaited second studio album ‘Phoenix’ – responded: “Thank you and I appreciate the honesty and I hope everyone still had a great time! (sic)”
Prior to that, John Legend – who also performed at the event in New York City – spoke out in support of Rita.
He said: “Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade because the floats don’t have the capacity to handle the sound requirements for a live performance. Hope y’all enjoyed it anyway. Know that if you come to my shows, the vocals are 100% live! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Thompson is set to return to ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The ITV reality dating show will return in the New Year with a brand new line-up of singletons and ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Sam will make a comeback to the show after splitting with co-star Sophie Habboo.
The list of those looking for love will also include; former Atomic Kitten, Kerry Katona, ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ hunk Pete Wicks, ‘Love Island’ star Georgia Steele, ‘Hollyoaks’ actress Chelsee Healey and ‘Ibiza Weekender’ rep David Potts.
This season will also see new dating expert Anna Williamson join Paul C Brunson and Tom Read Wilson to coach the contestants after Nadia Essex bowed out halfway through the last season.
A TV source told The Sun: “Bosses are really happy with the new line-up.
“The show really feels as though it has gone through a revamp following the arrival of so many new faces.
“Producers are pleased Celebs will be back on screen sooner than first expected – as stars of the series have already met and filming is set to begin as early as this week.
“The cast has just the perfect mix of those who’ve been looking for The One for years like Kerry – and those who still need to learn the ropes when it comes to women.”
The news of Georgia’s arrival comes after reports she was spoken to by producers just a day after splitting with ‘Love Island’ co-star Sam Bird.
A source previously said: “Georgia is in the mix for the next series of ‘Celebs Go Dating’. She met with bosses just a day after her romance with Sam ended, which will definitely come as a shock to him.
“‘Celebs’ is a show Georgia would love to do especially now she’s back on the market – she didn’t think twice before meeting producers.”

Tessa Thompson reveals her acting ‘sweet spot’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Thompson thinks acting without using words is her “sweet spot”.
The 35-year-old actress – who has reprised the role of Bianca Porter for ‘Creed II’ – has revealed she loves the challenge of having to convey emotions and thoughts through expressions rather than words.
She shared: “As much as I love language and love dialogue, particularly when it’s good, my favourite thing is to act without words. I love it. It’s where I feel the most free and inspired.
“To me it’s the beauty of film, it’s the thing you can do on film better than in any other medium. It’s just communicating emotion without words. That’s a sweet spot for me.”
And Tessa – who stars alongside Michael B Jordan in the film franchise – thinks the ‘Creed’ movies give her the perfect platform to showcase her talents.
She told Collider: “Certainly, with the boxing, it’s about modulating. It’s really easy in those spaces to play a really general, like, cheering.
“I really rely a lot on the director, and I’m so lucky that I have such sensitive, incredible directors in Ryan Coogler and Steven Caple Jr. Really relying on them to be my eyes and modulate the performance. Because the truth is, in those ringside scenes, we’re shooting some of those sequences over three weeks.
“It’s an awful lot of yelling, screaming, crying, clapping. How do you differentiate that? And also Bianca’s responsibility, and mine, is to be the audience in those moments. To take the audience on that journey. So we just play a lot.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James McVey’s bandmates from The Vamps insists he won’t be eating creepy crawlies while in ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’.
The 24-year-old guitarist has vowed that due to his vegan beliefs he won’t be eating any meat during his stint on the jungle reality show – and singer Bradley Simpson is certain that his pal won’t be swayed by hunger while on the show.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Bradley said: “He’s not going to eat meat while he’s in there because of his beliefs. I don’t know what they’ll do if he gets to the final but I think he’s going to stick to what he believes in.
“We knew a few months ago he was going and he was cutting down what he was eating so he would be ready and it wasn’t a shock to the system.”
Meanwhile, the musician is planning to propose to his long-time girlfriend Kirstie Brittain and there is the possibility he could get down on one knee when he leaves the jungle.
The ‘Can We Dance’ hitmaker was even contemplating popping the question as he leaves the camp on the exit bridge but doesn’t want to embarrass Kirstie.
Revealing she will be joining him in Australia, the hunk told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Kirstie’s coming out halfway through anyway, so knowing that she’s a mile away will really help I think.”
And asked whether or not he will be asking for her hand in marriage anytime soon, he said: “I was joking round with the other Vamps boys saying that my one luxury item should have been an engagement ring, and I could have really embarrassed her on the bridge coming out, but I’ve not had time to get it yet. That would have been a good one though.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alexa Chung has used fashion to shape how she’s perceived.
The 35-year-old star – who launched her eponymous fashion brand in 2016 – revealed she has a desire to communicate with other people and that she thinks her personal style is one way she can express her own identity.
Alexa shared, according to MailOnline: “I know now that I’m driven by a desire to communicate and to have an emotional connection with other people.
“Now more than ever there’s a growing space for people to tell their own stories and a need for them to do so.
“I have always dressed to express myself or to alter how other people may have chosen to perceive me.”
Earlier this year, Alexa revealed she takes style guidance from Chloe Sevigny.
The TV presenter-turned-designer think it’s “nice” that she’s still regarded as a fashion icon, but Alexa admitted she finds it “comforting” to look to older stars, such as the 44-year-old actress, to give her some style inspiration.
She said: “It’s nice to hear that I’ve made it past 25 and people still sometimes think I look alright.
“And also I look to other people’s style too, you know.
“I think it’s comforting to have someone a few years ahead of you and still trying to get away with hot pants. I look at pictures of Chloe Sevigny and think, ‘Right, OK, so we can still do this.'”
Alexa has relished her move into design and understands she needs to be forceful to get her ideas across.
She said: “It’s about doing things with conviction and not being afraid to give negative feedback.
“I’ve always been in industries where you have to be incredibly likeable to do the job because being charming is part of the job description if you’re presenting TV or interviewing people.
“Whereas, with this, there are moments where you have to be the least liked person in the room in order to make clothes that are the most liked item on the rail.”

Nicki Minaj flew to China to attend ‘unauthorised’ festival

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj reportedly flew all the way to China to perform at a festival that was allegedly a scam.
The American rap star headed to to perform a 90-minute set at the Djakarta Warehouse Project China festival, but subsequently learned that the event wasn’t as it had been advertised, Shanghaiist reports.
The festival was originally billed as a spin-off of the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP), which takes place in Bali, Indonesia.
But just prior to the event taking place, the company behind the Indonesian festival slammed the credibility of the event in China, saying that the use of its branding was “unauthourised”.
In a statement issued via BuzzFeed, DWP explained: “The event rumoured to take place in Shanghai on 17th and 18th of November 2018 is an unauthorized use of DWP trademark.
“DWP as a brand, has no association with the event.”
The event still took place but Nicki did not perform – much to the displeasure of the fans, some of whom had spent more than $400 on their ticket.
In a video recorded by a fan, Nicki promised to return to Shanghai with a “better partner”.
The outspoken rap star explained: “I’ll be back you guys for my real fans, in Shanghai, in China. I love you so much.
“And I’ll be back with a better partner this time, okay?”
Meanwhile, Nicki recently claimed her critics are waiting to see her “fall”.
The outspoken star – who was involved in an altercation with rap rival Cardi B during New York Fashion Week earlier this year – claimed that some people hope she is soon usurped as the most popular female rapper in the music industry.
Nicki explained: “I’ve been at the top of this totem pole for a very long time. Sometimes people just want to see someone who’s been at the top fall, just to see if it can happen.”

Jamie Dornan has ‘crush’ on cartoon Disney fox

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan had a “crush” on Maid Marian the fox from Disney’s 1973 animation ‘Robin Hood’.
The 36-year-old actor found himself oddly attracted to the anthropomorphic animal character as a kid and he was reminded of his unusual crush when he was playing Will ‘Scarlet’ Tillman in Otto Bathurst’s new version of the English folklore tale about Robin who steals from the rich to feed the poor.
Speaking to Collider about whether his crush on Maid Marian was the real reason he took on the role in the movie, Dornan said: “The only motivation! No, but it is cool because I do love that and I definitely did/do have a crush on Maid Marian the fox in the Disney animated version.
“There is obviously so many other versions I wanted to do it, but it is cool because I’ve always loved this story. And I remember how excited I was to go and see ‘Prince of Thieves’ when I was 11 years old and I remember that like it was yesterday – the trip to the cinema, I remember the car journey there I just remember everything about it.
“To be involved in something where some kid somewhere will have a similar excitement to see it is a very cool feeling.”
The ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ actor also confessed there will be a new take on the notorious “love triangle” that fans are used to seeing in the ‘Robin Hood’ movies which will have a “big effect” on his character’s journey.
Dornan added: “We wanted it to feel like nothing you’ve seen before depicted with a Robin Hood story and mess a bit with our idea of what we think it’s going to be. The love triangle is different to what we know with past Robin Hoods and it becomes about my character Will and Robin and Marian which adds a whole different dynamic to it, and obviously what happens within the love triangle has a big effect on the journey that my character goes through.”
Dornan stars alongside Taron Egerton as Robin of Loxley, Jamie Foxx as Little John, Eve Hewson as Maid Marion, Tim Minchin as Friar Tuck and Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham in the movie which is in cinemas now.

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan misses the camaraderie of being in One Direction.
The 25-year-old singer admitted that it was “like being at school” when he was on ‘The X Factor’ with his bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne and “it was like being with your mates” while performing on stage.
Speaking on the George Ezra & Friends podcast, he said: “We had enough time to get to know each other. Being in ‘The X Factor’ house we were living in the same room, all five of us, two bunk beds and a single bed and we were in there with each other for 10 weeks. It was like being at school but we just happened to go on national TV on Saturday nights. It was a bit strange. We got on really well. When you look left and right onstage you know that you’re with your mates.”
The ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ hitmakers rose to fame when Niall was just 16, but despite the potential pitfalls of fame, the ‘Slow Hands’ singer never let it phase him as he was just having fun.
He said: “You don’t say no because you’re 16 years old … when you’re given opportunities like that and the world is watching, you don’t care, you’re just having a lot of fun. And I think that is what made people like One Direction in the first place, people were like, ‘They’re literally just five normal lads who can sing and look like they’re having a bit of a laugh.'”
As for the One Direction member the musician is closest to, Niall is in regular contact with 26-year-old Louis – who is a judge on this year’s ‘X Factor’ – as he lives near him.
He said: “I’d say Louis. Everyone’s busy, I’ll see Louis now that I’m here, and he lives near me in LA as well … I believe Harry’s over there as well so when I go there, I’ll get to see all the boys that are in LA.”

Snooki announces pregnancy

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is pregnant with her third child.
The 30-year-old reality TV star has announced the news via her Instagram account, revealing that she and her husband Jionni LaValle are looking forward to welcoming a third child into their family.
Snooki – who already has daughter Giovanna, four, and son Lorenzo, six – posted a picture of her kids holding up her ultrasound scan and captioned the image: “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving (sic)”
Snooki and Jionni, 31, have been married since 2014 and the reality star previously admitted the loved-up couple were “trying” for another baby.
Speaking in August, she shared: “I’m trying now. I’m practising now. It’s going good. I’m not pregnant yet but, I mean, we’ve been practising for a month now so…”
Prior to that, Snooki conceded that parenthood had transformed her life and forced her to behave in a more mature way.
She revealed, too, that at one point in her life, she “didn’t even like kids”.
Snooki said: “On ‘Jersey Shore’ I was in my early 20s. I describe that period as being in my college years. The only thing I was thinking about was living it up and having fun.
“Once I met Jionni, I started to calm down. However, when I got pregnant, I knew things were going to be different. I was terrified. I was never really good with kids, and at one point, I didn’t even like kids.
“When Lorenzo arrived, my whole life completely changed. Everything came naturally and was so beautiful. I found myself not wanting to go out and just wanting to be with him all the time.
“Lorenzo has made me more mature and more responsible, and he made me grow up.”

Margot Robbie started a fire cooking Thanksgiving dinner

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie once started a fire whilst cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
The 28-year-old actress got together with friends last year to cook “a big feast” for the annual American holiday – which this year was celebrated on Thursday (22.11.18) – but says things didn’t go to plan when she managed to set the yams on fire.
She said: “Last year for our Friendsgiving, all the ‘orphans’ in town, we just [cooked] a big feast. I was in charge of the yams and I lit them on fire. It was terrible. So this year we’re dividing up who’s cooking what and I was like, ‘I’d really like to give the yams a go again!'”
And the ‘Suicide Squad’ star had a similar disaster again at Christmas, when she burned the ham.
She added to USA Today: “Last Christmas I lit the ham on fire, which, again I was like, ‘Can I do the ham this year?’ And everyone was like, ‘We want to be able to eat the food, we don’t want it to be charcoal and just have nothing.'”
Despite being banished from the kitchen this year, Margot isn’t going to be by herself, as she recently admitted she loves the company of other people because being on her own drives her “insane”.
She said: “I never do anything on my own. I don’t see the purpose of doing anything if I don’t do it with my friends. I go mental when I am on my own; my thoughts are so loud it drives me insane.”
But the ‘I, Tonya’ star was fiercely independent as a child.
She added: “We weren’t easy kids, we didn’t make it easy for Mum. When I was five I was watching my mum put spread on my sandwich for school and I was saying, ‘It’s not going to the edges’, and she was like, ‘If I am not doing it right, do it yourself.’ So I started making my own lunch from five years old. If I wanted something a certain way I just did it myself. Mum says it sums me up. I’m still trying to make it up to her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend has defended Rita Ora’s lip-synced performance during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The 27-year-old British star has been widely ridiculed on social media for not performing live at the event in New York City, but John – who also performed in the parade – has now explained the reason why Rita lip-synced her way through the event.
He shared on Twitter: “Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade because the floats don’t have the capacity to handle the sound requirements for a live performance. Hope y’all enjoyed it anyway. Know that if you come to my shows, the vocals are 100% live! (sic)”
Rita thanked John for coming out in support of her performance.
She wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “Fun fact @johnlegend thank you for clarifying what I was about to also tweet. It’s annoying for us but anyway! All my shows are 100 percent live always have been! When you come to a ORA show get ready! Back to holidays! Have a good one guys! 🙂 X (sic)”
Meanwhile, Rita recently admitted she had “an insecure moment” at the start of her music career.
The chart-topping star is now established as one of the world’s best-known pop stars, but Rita admitted to feeling uncertain of herself around the time she released her debut album in 2012.
She shared: “I had a bit of an insecure moment when I was starting out and I felt like I couldn’t be myself, and that has now put a burden on me for the future, because if I was myself then I probably would have been different now. But I’m very grateful for the experience that I had.”

Kylie Jenner shares new pics of Stormi for Thanksgiving

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner has shared three new pictures of her daughter Stormi, as the tot celebrates her first Thanksgiving.
The 21-year-old reality star and her boyfriend Travis Scott welcomed their daughter into the world in February, and as she took part in her first Thanksgiving on Thursday (22.11.18), Kylie shared three pictures on Instagram to show how “thankful” she is.
One picture, which shows both Kylie and Travis holding Stormi whilst Kylie places a kiss on the young tot’s cheek, was simply captioned: “thankful.”
The second picture featured Stormi sitting on the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star’s lap, which Kylie captioned: “Happy Thanksgiving”
And the third image – of Kylie holding Stormi – was titled: “i love you little angel”
The pictures come just days after Kylie posted a video in which she attempted to get her nine-month-old daughter to say “Kylie Cosmetics”.
In the clip, Stormi was sat on the bed playing with one of her mother’s make-up products, and when Kylie tried to get her to say her brand’s name, the tot instead called out her “Dada”.
Kylie slowly said to her baby girl: “Kylie Cosmetics.”
The little tot then mumbled until, she eventually said: “Dada.”
Stormi then let out a little giggle as the ‘Life of Kylie’ star replied: “Dada?”
She captioned the post: “trying to teach her some new words (sic)”
Kylie and Stormi are currently on the road with Travis on his ‘Astroworld Tour’, and the rapper said he’s fulfilling his “life goal” by having his girlfriend and daughter on tour with him.
He said recently: “I keep Stormi on the road, she’s got her own dressing room vibe, got her own bus vibe. [My] life goal [is having her be] a part of what I’m living.
“It’s so hard, because I grew up in a different household where I never had a nanny or nothing like that – my parents were never on a tour – so being able to do that and figure it out at 26, it’s like hard, but when you’re going through it, it’s like, ‘Oh this is dope.'”

Tessa Thompson thinks the ‘scope’ of Creed II is easy to overlook

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Thompson thinks it’s “easy” to forget the “scope” of ‘Creed II’.
The 35-year-old actress – who stars as Bianca Porter in the money-spinning film franchise – has conceded it was difficult to track the scale of the movie during the filming process.
She shared: “It’s funny because for us, we’re making these films called ‘Creed I’ and ‘Creed II’, it’s easy to forget somehow that we’re making, essentially, ‘Rocky’ films. Films that exist inside of the ‘Rocky’ universe.
“And then there’ll be moments on set, almost always when we’re shooting a boxing scene, where we’ll have like a thousand extras and that’s the time where the scope hits you.”
But, for the most part, Tessa and her co-star Michael B. Jordan felt like they were shooting “something small in scope”.
She told Collider: “It feels like we’re making a niche drama, literally, like when it’s scenes with just Mike and myself or just a couple players, it feels like we’re making something small in scope. It’s the way we’ve approached both films, with real sensitivity and honesty so it feels really small.
“Then we get into those boxing scenes and it suddenly feels massive. Also, we have all these characters that actually exist in the boxing world. Then it’s totally surreal, because you have these guys come in and it’s like we’re making an HBO special suddenly. So that’s incredible.”

Eddie Redmayne says J. K. Rowling is ‘extraordinary’

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne thinks J. K. Rowling is “extraordinary”.
The Academy Award-winning actor stars as Newt Scamander in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film series, and Eddie has revealed he was happy to see the franchise extended from three films into five because he has so much faith in the world-famous author.
He explained: “It was the first [franchise] that I’d done. And I was lucky enough before to be cast as Newt, to have read the first film. So I knew what I was getting into.
“But you do put a huge amount of your future years and work experience, and work ethic in someone else’s hands. But what was wonderful for me was, if you’re gonna invest in a creative, there is no one as extraordinary, imagination wise, as Jo. And so, it’s been pretty thrilling.”
And despite being one of the movie industry’s most in-demand stars, Eddie has been kept in the dark about the future of the franchise.
The 36-year-old star is a self-confessed “control freak” and he’s desperate to know what the future holds for his on-screen character.
He told Collider: “You know, the truth is, I don’t know the full arc. And there have been moments where I’ve gone, ‘I’m incredibly curious.’
“There are things we know from the books, we know that Newt’s great grandson marries Luna Lovegood. So there are some snippets that we know, but we don’t know how on earth we get there.

Take That halt US plans to focus on musical

OHMYGOSSIP — Take That have put Las Vegas plans on hold to focus on their new film.
The boy band trio – made up of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – have admitted while there are still discussions about following the example of former bandmate Robbie Williams with a Sin City residency, they have other commitments after next year’s UK tour.
Howard told the Daily Star newspaper: “There’s talk of still going to the States – but not for a while.”
Gary explained a big screen adaptation of their own musical ‘The Band’ will keep them busy when filming starts next summer.
He added: “We are going to make a film of our musical ‘The Band’ next year, we are all signed off on that now.
“Tim firth is doing the film script and we are going to shoot next summer. Again we can get involved with the music and that will keep us busy after the tour next year.”
Meanwhile, the group’s new greatest hits collection ‘Odyssey’ has given the trio a chance to reflect on their career while giving the a songs a new twist.
But Mark admitted: “The songs mean a lot to us, so if I’m a listener I don’t want to mess about too much with them.”
Earlier this month, Robbie unveiled his own plans for a run of shows at Wynn Las Vegas in March 2019.
He said: “I’m beyond excited to announce my first ever residency in Las Vegas. To follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest entertainers of all time is a dream come true – I can’t wait.”
