Famke Janssen joins new drama Endless

OHMYGOSSIP — Famke Janssen has joined the cast of ‘Endless’.
The 54-year-old actress will play the single working-class mother of 19-year-old Chris (Nicholas Hamilton), who is separated from the love of his life Riley (Alexandra Shipp) after he is killed in a fatal accident which leaves him to have to watch Riley grieve for her loss.
Janssen recently appeared on ABC’s ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ and ”The Blacklist: Redemption’ and has wrapped production on ‘Primal’ opposite Nicolas Cage and ‘The Poison Rose’ starring John Travolta and Morgan Freeman. Her most famous roles have been in the ‘X-Men’ films and TV series ‘Nip/Tuck’.
The model and actress – who was born in the Netherlands and then later moved to the United States in 1984 to study acting and find work – has done a variety of roles and says she likes to take risks so that she can challenge herself as an actress.
She previously said: “I’m a firm believer in taking risks in life, because you’ll never get anywhere unless you do, and the more risk involved the greater the outcome – or the worse, but you never know so you’ve got to go for it.”
Ingenious Media have come on board the film – which is based on a draft by Rohit Kumar – with Anders Erdén and Daniel Negret who will be executive producing alongside John Jencks, Jay Taylor and Joe Simpson of J Cubed Film Finance.
Gabriela Bacher of Film House Germany’s Summerstorm Entertainment is producing alongside Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee of Thunder Road Pictures and Sean Finegan of Hyper Media Ventures.
Canadian producing partner Kevin DeWalt of Mind’s Eye Entertainment will also be joining them.

Jason Momoa waiting to watch Aquaman with his children

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Momoa hasn’t seen ‘Aquaman’ yet because he is waiting to watch it with his children.
The 39-year-old actor stars as the half-Atlantean/half-human superhero Arthur Curry in the DC Comics blockbuster but although he was at the movie’s world premiere in London on Monday (26.11.18) he did not watch the final cut because he has promised his kids, daughter Lola, 11, and nine-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf, he’ll view with them first.
In an interview on ‘This Morning’ on Wednesday (28.11.18) he said: “I haven’t seen it – which is really cool because everyone here at the UK premiere … I could see everyone’s faces who have seen it and I haven’t yet! It’s exciting because I have seen the trailer and it’s amazing and my kids are stoked! My kids were there with me on set so they were like, “Please papa, don’t watch it without me!’ Of course not! I’m going to go and watch it with them.”
‘Aquaman’ – which also stars Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman and Patrick Wilson and is directed by James Wan – is a Warner Bros. Pictures film which is based on the DC Comics character of the same name who has the ability to control the ocean’s tides and communicate with sea life.
The film tells the story of how the powerful superhero finds himself caught between a surface world that ravages the sea and the underwater Atlanteans who are ready to revolt.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star also revealed that he felt like he could relate to his character because, like Aquaman, he felt like he was caught between two different worlds when he was growing up.
He said: “I came from a very loving home but with a single mother who raised me in Iowa. I was born in Hawaii. So I spent my summer in two very different worlds. That’s relatable and also the side of a single parent is relatable.”
‘Aquaman’ hits cinemas on December 14.

Nicolas Cage paying son’s child support

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicolas Cage is helping to pay child support for his grandchildren.
The ‘National Treasure’ star’s son Weston Cage has settled his divorce from second wife Danielle and documents relating to the split revealed the singer-and-actor will be handing over half of a “monthly gift” he receives from his dad to his former partner and their two children, Lucian, four, and two-year-old Sorin.
According to The Blast, Danielle has sole legal and primary physical custody of the kids, and Weston has been granted visitation, and must also pay $8,000 a month in family support.
The sum is taken from the $16,000 a month he gets from his famous dad and will be used to help with car payments, rent and health insurance for Danielle and the children.
The family support obligation will end at the beginning of 2019, but Weston will then be responsible for family support, which the court explained would come directly from his payments from Nicolas.
The former couple both confirmed they understand the ‘Mandy’ actor is “under no legal obligation” to make the regular payments to his son – who he has with former partner Christina Fulton – and that they could stop, or the amount change, at any time.
Danielle has previously received a protective order against Weston, which meant he had to stay at least 100 yards away, unless it was during a visitation with the children.
The 27-year-old actor married for a third time to Hila Aronian in April, four months after they announced they had got engaged in May 2017.
Announcing his engagement, Weston claimed he had found “true love” at last.
He wrote on Facebook: “ENGAGED AT LAST. Finally true love is no longer a fantasy. I announce with unsurpassable honor, love and excitement that my one true and ultimate Queen and I are officially engaged as of May 25th and we have awaited this declaration eagerly and decided to celebrate it in the season of global festivity. (sic)”
The ‘Rage’ actor was also married to singer Nikki Williams for a year before he met Danielle.

John Krasinski couldn’t stop ‘crying’ watching wife on screen

OHMYGOSSIP — John Krasinski ran out of tissues because he was “crying so much” watching his wife Emily Blunt in ‘Mary Poppins Returns’.
The 39-year-old actor wasn’t prepared for how “emotional” the movie made him feel and the 35-year-old actress feared he didn’t like the film when he suddenly fled his seat – but he was looking for something to soak up his tears.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (28.11.18), he said: “I tried to prepare them for how emotional it is. The first time I ever saw it, they give you a tissue box in the screening room. I was like, ‘Oh that’s very nice, I don’t have a cold.’
“And they started screening the movie and 25 minutes into the movie I stood up and went to the back of the room and Emily said, ‘Do you not like it? I’ve never seen this happen.’
“I was pushing through all of the muffins and bagels that were in the back looking for napkins.
“I was like, ‘I need anything to stop this crying!’ I was crying so much I blew through the tissue box in 20 minutes, had to go to the napkins, and then when I ran out of napkins it was all sweater.”
Emily portrays the magical nanny – who was originally played by Dame Julie Andrews in 1964 – in the upcoming ‘Mary Poppins Returns’, and John found the film to be “pure joy” and is a must-see over the festive period.
The actor – who has children Hazel, four, and Violet, two, with his spouse – added: “It’s honestly one of the most beautiful films. It’s I think exactly what everybody needs for the holidays. It’s pure joy.”

Michael Bublé is a changed man after son’s battle with cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Bublé is “different” now because of his son’s cancer battle.
The 43-year-old singer’s eldest child, five-year-old Noah – who he has with wife Luisana Lopilato – is in remission from liver cancer after a devastating diagnosis two years ago, and the ‘Feeling Good’ hitmaker has admitted that people “don’t go through big things” without it having an impact.
In an interview with People, he said: “Listen, I am different, you don’t go through big things in your life, dramatic things like I’ve gone through or my wife has gone through without it having an effect on you.
The ‘Everything’ singer relocated his family to California from Vancouver for seven months as their son received life-saving care and Michael is thankful “everyone understood” that his only priority was his child, rather than his career.
He explained: “Everyone understood in my world what my priority was, we all go through things. You just hope you learn something about yourself and you learn something about the people with you.
“Obviously everything can be super stressful, but I got some superheroes in my life.”
Now the star – who is also dad to two-year-old son Elias and four-month-old daughter Vida – is focusing on spending time with his family and is looking at life with a whole new outlook.
He said: “I don’t think I feel very nervous for anything anymore, the perspective that I have on life now allows me to understand that I don’t have to sweat the small stuff.
“I want there to be a purity, and I want there to be a focus on relationships and kindness. I’m spending my time doing things I love and with people I love, for people I love.”

Damon Dash ends legal battle with Lee Daniels

OHMYGOSSIP — Damon Dash has dropped his $5 million legal battle with Lee Daniels.
In June, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder had sued Daniels accusing him of breach of contract over the Richard Pryor biopic they were working on together.
In the papers, Dash claimed that an agreement made between the pair in 2015 confirmed he would get a co-executive producing credit on the Pryor project, and then five per cent of the profits that Daniels would eventually earn from it.
Dash, 47, also alleged that Daniels, 58, did not make any effort to fulfill his obligations and he also deliberately kept information from him about the entertainment endeavour which constituted a breach of contract.
According to website The Blast, court documents filed in New York this week on Monday (26.11.18) now state that Dash and Daniels have reached an agreement to discontinue all claims with prejudice, meaning the lawsuit cannot be refiled in the future, which suggests that Dash has received a financial settlement.
It is not the first legal dispute between the pair, back in 2014 Dash sued Daniels for $25 million over a dispute involving the ownership rights to films ‘Precious’ and ‘The Butler’ and the television show ‘Empire’.
The music mogul claimed to have loaned the director $2 million in 2004, in exchange for rights to some his films and shows.
Despite the legal dispute, the Richard Pryor biopic is going ahead with Daniels on board.
The biopic – entitled ‘Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said’ – will detail how the star broke into the business in the early 60s and had become one of the world’s biggest stand-up comedians by the early 70s.
He then broke into Hollywood starring in numerous hit comedy films and appearing in several hits with Gene Wilder, including ‘Stir Crazy’, ‘See No Evil, Hear No Evil’ and ‘Silver Streak’.

Kara Tointon gives birth to baby boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Kara Tointon has become a mother for the first time.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star gave birth to a baby boy – her child with her fiancé Marius Jensen – on Thursday November 22 and the couple are both “very happy”, a family member has said.
A source close to Kara confirmed the news to The Sun Online, saying: “Kara gave birth on Thursday to a little baby boy.”
Kara – who is best known for playing Dawn Swann in the BBC One soap – only announced she was pregnant in October 2018, just a few weeks before she was due to give birth, describing it as a “life-changing” moment.
Revealing she was having a baby in the pages of HELLO! magazine, she said: “It is an incredible time. It is the biggest life-changing moment when you have this little human being coming into your life that you are yet to meet. I can’t wait for motherhood and all the challenges it will bring. For me it was always about meeting the person that you know is the one you want to share this experience with. Marius and I said, ‘If it happens, we are ready, but we won’t plan,’ and then it happened quite quickly. For me, this is the perfect age.”
Kara – who was crowned the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ champion back in 2010 – and Marius got engaged after the hunk popped the question whilst she was in bed at home back in March, a week before they went on holiday to India where he had intended to propose.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow has launched a “size inclusive” clothing line.
The 46-year-old actress’ lifestyle brand, Goop, has released a collection in collaboration with clothing brand Universal Standard, will start from a UK size 02 and range to a size 44 – the largest female dress size offered in the UK.
The essentials range will feature five pieces including a dress, jumpsuit, peacoat and tuxedo jacket with matching trousers and prices start at £187 to £327 and this is the first time Goop has provided sizes over a size 12.
The ‘Iron Man’ star has revealed the aim of the line is to “push the conversation” regarding body positivity into “the mainstream” and to focus on helping women “make choices that make them feel good”.
She said: “Goop is a wellness site with self-care at its core. Our focus is helping women make choices that make them feel good and eliminate shame in their lives, whether that’s linked to sexual health, age, or stress.
“I believe we’re stronger if all archetypes are included, and we’re all able to be seen and lift each other up, which is why we partnered with Universal Standard to create this line of beautifully made pieces.

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestants wear red socks to hide their bleeding insect bites.
This year’s jungle line up sees the likes of actor John Barrowman, football legend Harry Redknapp, former ‘EastEnders’ star Rita Simons and singer Fleur East ditching their usual attire for the reality show’s uniform of black T-shirts, khaki jackets and bright red socks.
However, the show’s on-site medic, Bob McCarron, has confessed to Women’s Own that the cast’s bright red socks, aren’t chosen at random, but are actually so blood from insect bites don’t show up on camera.
Meanwhile, in the jungle, Anne Hegerty, 60, won an impressive seven stars as she took on Hellish Hospital Bushtucker Trial on Tuesday night (27.11.18).
In the first part of the trial, ‘The Chase’ star had to retrieve a star from a skeleton laid on the bed, which was being guarded by a large snake. It was then to the chest of drawers, where she found another star, but she refused to collect the one out of the wardrobe as it was surrounded by huge spiders.
Moving onto the next room, it was the medical supplies room – where Anne was covered in jungle critters as she searched around for the next stars. Upon successfully retrieving these, she moved to the next room – the operating theatre, where she collected even more stars.
To enter the final room, Anne had to climb through a chamber with a lizard in but on seeing it, she quickly shrieked: “No, no, no, ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!'”, and was helped out of the room and back to safe ground.

Taraji P. Henson went vegan to prevent cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Taraji P. Henson went vegan to prevent “stomach cancer”.
The 48-year-old actress has enjoyed a plant-based diet – meaning she’s cut out meat and all other animal products including diary and eggs – for several months after a doctor told her the stomach pains she was experiencing whilst on the set of ‘The Best of Enemies’ this summer could be the start of a deadly disease.
She said: “It took a doctor in Macon, Georgia, to say, ‘If you don’t change what you’re doing, you’re going to get stomach cancer.’ I said, ‘Say no more.’ So I switched everything up out of necessity. I want to live. Thank God, because I feel so much better.”
Taraji’s healthier lifestyle is also partly thanks to her fiancé and former NFL star Kelvin Hayden, who runs his own gym and also indulges in the vegan treats that the ‘Empire’ star cooks for the pair and her 24-year-old son Marcell, whom she has with William Johnson.
The couple plan to marry in July next year, and Taraji says she is dreading the day when she has to go for her dress fitting, as she doesn’t want to try on countless gowns.
Speaking to the January issue of InStyle magazine, she said: “I’m not going to go through 10,000 dresses. How does it fit? How do I feel? Does it complement me well? Let’s just go with this one. I know what looks good on me. I’m not going to spend 10 hours on a fitting. I hate that.”
Meanwhile, the beauty recently gushed over her engagement, saying she is “happy” to be marrying her “best friend”.
She said: “My fans know. They’ve read my book, they know my story, they know I’ve been looking for love. I just feel happy and I feel like I’ve finally found the one. This is the guy I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. I’m marrying my best friend.”

Sair Khan wants to show real self in the jungle

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Thorp says her ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Sair Khan has gone on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ to show how different she is to her character Alya Nazir.
The 30-year-old actress became good friends with Sair after she landed her role as Nicola Rubinstein on the ITV soap in 2017 and she hopes viewers of the gruelling reality series are seeing just how great a person Sair is.
In an interview with New! magazine, Nicola said of her pal: “She’s never done anything like this before and I think it’s an opportunity for people to get to know Sair rather than her character, because she’s so different to Alya. She also joked about the fact that if she comes out of the jungle and people know how to pronounce her name she’ll be happy.”
Nicola and Sair lived together for a time and although she was worried about how her friend would cope with the lack of food, she has been impressed by how her fellow actress has handled the rice and beans meals so far.
She added: “She’s so loyal and strong and she’s really funny. I’ve lived with her and she’s the girl you can go to in a crisis. She’s always level-headed and puts other people before herself. She loves to eat. That’s not a bad habit, but I’m worried about her in the jungle and having access to food. She’ll miss home comforts. She gets very hangry!”
And Nicola – who is coming back to ‘Corrie’ – has enjoyed watching Sair make new friends in the Australian jungle and keep her cool whilst under pressure.
She said: “She’s so calm, but she speaks her mind and that’s a good thing. She’d only ever clash with someone if they were being mean to another person. Because Sair is so compassionate and caring, she’s a good influence on Anne Hegerty.”

Quentin Tarantino marries

OHMYGOSSIP — Quentin Tarantino has got married.
The 55-year-old director tied the knot with long-term girlfriend Daniella Pick, 35, in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles on Wednesday (28.11.18) evening and planned to celebrate their union with a larger gathering later in the night.
A source told E! News: “The ceremony was inside in front of a small group of family and friends including Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth and Eli Roth. There were only about 20 people and it was very intimate and private.
“Quentin and Daniella held hands and kissed everywhere they went. Eventually they left and were take to Beverly Hills for a dinner reception.”
People magazine obtained a photo of the happy couple posing in front of a wall of white flowers, with the ‘Kill Bill’ filmmaker dressed in a black suit and his 35-year-old bride in a long strapless simple satin white gown by Dana Harel, which she had teamed with a veil and tiara.
The couple first met in 2009 while Quentin was promoting his movie ‘Inglorious Basterds’ and the director popped the question in June 2017 after he and the Israeli singer and model had been dating for around a year.
Three months later, the couple celebrated their engagement with a party attended by the likes of ‘Pulp Fiction’ stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman.
The director – who wrapped his latest movie, ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’, just a few days ago – previously admitted he had no plans to marry because he was too committed to his work.
He said: “When I’m doing a movie, I’m not doing anything else.
“It’s all about the movie. I don’t have a wife. I don’t have a kid. Nothing can get in my way.
“I’m not saying that I’ll never get married or have a kid before I’m 60. But I’ve made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone. Because this is my time. This is my time to make movies.”

Steph Waring misses co-stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Steph Waring finds filming ‘Hollyoaks’ “hard” without David Kennedy and Amanda Clapham.
The 40-year-old actress – who portrays Cindy Savage in the soap – thinks there’s still a “hole” that hasn’t been filled since her on-screen husband Dirk was killed off and her daughter Holly Cunningham left the village to go travelling.
She said: “I was very close to Amanda Clapham and David, they were my best friends.
“It is hard sometimes not having them here – there are two holes in ‘Hollyoaks’.”
However, the actress has been spending a lot of time with her new co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson, who plays drug addicted prostitute, and Cindy’s new lodger, Donna-Marie Quinn.
She told Inside Soap magazine: “I love her. We have fun together.
“I’ve known Lucy-Jo for a number of years and we laugh a lot.
“It’s really good to be put in roles where we don’t have to be nice to each other.”
With Cindy now a widow again, Steph can’t see what’s in store for her alter ego.
She said: “She’s done so much already” She’s been married six times, she has children, she’s killed someone and she has bipolar.
“I’d like to think it would be something that challenged me. There’s life in the old dog yet.”
During her recent break from the show, the former ‘Dancing On Ice’ contestant visited Iraq in her role as an ambassador for the Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation, and admitted it was a very “rewarding” experience.
She said: “I wanted to know what they’re going through, and it’s probably the most rewarding thing I’ve done.
“It opened my eyes and I want to raise awareness and money for the kids.”

Kim Kardashian West donates $25k to photographer’s medical bills

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has donated $25,000 to the ongoing medical treatment of her personal photographer Marcus Hyde, following his car crash last month.
The talented photographer – who has also shot stars including Ariana Grande, Donald Glover, and Snoop Dogg – lost control of his Mercedes as he drove up the Malibu coast on October 29, and was rushed to hospital in a “critical” condition.
Marcus is still in hospital one month later, and after a GoFundMe page was set up to raise funds for his medical treatments, Kim and her husband Kanye West have made a whopping donation of $25,000 to the cause.
The description of the page reads: “As many know, Marcus Hyde was in a serious car accident at the end of October, resulting in him being hospitalized with serious injuries. He is still currently being hospitalized and will be for quite some time. With that being said, he has a long road to recovery.”
Kim, 38, and Kanye, 41, managed to push the page way over its $10,000 target, and as of the time of writing, Marcus’ page has earned $29,055 in donations.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star also shared a link to the page on Twitter, where she wrote: “If you are able to help the family would be so grateful!”
Previously, Kim had taken to social media to say she was “praying” for Marcus after the horrific crash.
She wrote: “I’m trying to find the perfect picture but I don’t want to share them. We were saving these for our book. Angels are surrounding you. I’m praying so hard for you. Please be ok. Please come back @marcushyde (sic)”
Marcus’ car is said to have smashed through a fence on the Pacific Coast Highway and crashed into the embankment.
Both the photographer and a female passenger were airlifted to the hospital, and paramedics said Marcus suffered seizures as they pulled him out of the wreck.

Louisa Lytton stunned by social media reaction to EastEnders rape storyline

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘EastEnders’ actress Louisa Lytton has been stunned by the response on social media to her rape storyline on the BBC One soap.
Louisa’s alter ego Ruby Allen was sexually assaulted by Ross Swinden (Ossian Luke) and Matt Clarkson (Mitchell Hunt) and viewers have now seen the pair charged with rape but the residents of Albert Square are unsure about whether or not the allegations are true.
The 29-year-old actress returned to the show for the powerful plot after 12 years away and as there were no social media platforms when she was first a regular cast member she’s been staggered by the volume of viewers who have got in touch with her to thank her for her work on the storyline.
In an interview on ‘This Morning’, she said: “I know that this show has a huge impact but when I was in it years ago we didn’t have social media so I’ve never had this experience. People have contacted me to tell me, ‘This is my experience,’ or, ‘This is how the storyline has helped me,’ or ‘It’s confirmed to me that something that happened to me years ago was in fact rape,’ or, ‘I’ve now been able to speak out and go to the police.’ It’s been amazing.”
Louisa has taken the responsibility of portraying a rape victim very seriously and has been in contact with charity Rape Crisis constantly to ensure she is getting things right on screen.
She added: “I’ve been speaking to Rape Crisis everyday on the phone, getting information and help on different scripts and finding out how you would be feeling afterwards and if this makes sense, or that makes sense. With storylines like this you have to do them justice.”
Things will come to a head for Ruby in the coming episodes when she has to make a decision of whether or not to continue to press charges after she hears her friends and neighbours doubt the truth or her accusations and then discovers disgusting messages about herself on social media.

Jack Fincham admits show rows

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham has admitted shooting a new reality show with girlfriend Dani Dyer caused them to argue.
The ‘Love Island’ winners have been working on their own spin-off programme, ‘Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island’, and have found it “tough” being followed by cameras all day long, but the 26-year-old star insists that just shows how normal their relationship is.
He said: “We do have arguments but people can’t think the world is going to end because we’ve had a row. It’s a normal thing having an argument.
“Filming the show wasn’t easy. It was tough, it was intense – you’re on camera most days of the week all day long.
“We had bickers during filming just like any other couple. I got emotional with Dani doing it; I even had a couple of tear ups. But Dani and I got through it.”
And Jack promised the three-episode series, which will broadcast on ITVBe is simply a “nice” story about the ordinary life he and his 22-year-old girlfriend share together and won’t feature any explosive rows like previous ‘Love Island’ couple Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood’s show.
He added to The Sun newspaper: “Most shows like this are about arguments and drama but ours is a nice story, it is about two people that love each other.
“Dani and I have a really normal relationship; we both go to work, like our takeaways and sitting at home. It doesn’t feel like we met on Love Island at all – we sometimes have to remind each other.
“It’s definitely nothing like Chris and Olivia’s show, they just didn’t like each other.”
Since leaving the island, Jack has developed a strong friendship with Dani’s father Danny Dyer and he’s grateful he can always turn to the former ‘EastEnders’ star when he needs advice and support.
He said: “Our relationship is really good, we get on well.
“Danny and I are quite similar, we have the same views. I’m guessing because we come from similar backgrounds, they’re from Canning Town I’m from Abbey Wood, trust me they’re very similar sorts of areas. Everything is good on that front.
“If I ever called him up and said ‘Look I have a problem I want to speak to you’ he would always give me his time.”
