Joe Swash gets cockroach stuck in ear

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Swash was rushed to hospital after getting a cockroach stuck in his ear – but medics were unable to remove it.
The ‘I’m a Celebrity… Extra Camp’ star had a medical drama hours after wrapping filming on the live spin-off show on Sunday (25.11.18) and was told he’d have to wait 24 hours to see a specialist because doctors couldn’t get the creature out of his ear canal.
Joe documented the incident on his Instagram Story.
He said: “So, we’re just on the way to the hospital to get a cockroach sucked out of my ear. All the perks of this job, eh!”
He then shared a follow-up clip in which he said: “Just walking up to the hospital. Still can’t quite believe that I’ve got an animal that’s living in my ear hole.
“Don’t make yourself at home son, because you’re coming out!”
The 36-year-old actor – who is in a relationship with Stacey Solomon – had a long wait to be seen then after leaving hospital revealed to his followers that doctors had been unable to help.
He said: “Just got out the hospital. Doctor said they can’t get the cockroach out my ear. I’ve got to see a specialist tomorrow so they can use some special equipment on it.”
Joe’s ear woes came less than a week after his ‘Extra Camp’ co-host Joel Dommett was forced to miss a show when he needed seven stitches to his head after being badly knocked by a sign as severe winds played havoc in Australia during rehearsals.
However, Joel – who came second in the 2016 series of the Australian jungle reality show – still had his sense of humour intact as he joked about having a “half day” and watched his colleagues Scarlett Moffatt – who beat Joel to be crowned Queen of the Jungle two years ago – and 2008 winner Joe from the comfort of his hotel room.
Alongside a picture of himself getting fixed up in the medical room and a selfie taken afterwards, he wrote on instagram: “Unfortunately due to unforeseen windy circumstances blowing the set onto my head during rehearsals, I won’t be able to present Extra Camp this evening. I had seven stitches like a big brave boy and I’ll be back tomorrow. To be honest I’m less worried about my health and more worried that the show will be better without me. Half a day off school to go home and watch neighbours! Woo! GOOD LUCK @scarlettmoffatt and @realjoeswashy (sic)”

J.K. Simmons ‘optimistic’ for DC return

OHMYGOSSIP — J.K. Simmons is “optimistic” that he will reprise his role as Commissioner Gordon in the DC Extended Universe films.
The 63-year-old actor impressed fans when he portrayed the police officer in 2017 blockbuster ‘Justice League’ and although he does not know exactly what films Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment have in the pipeline he would return to the role in a heartbeat.
Speaking to Collider about his chances of playing Gordon again, Simmons said: “Nothing has changed. There are conversations going on, that I’m not going to make public. As far as I know, there’s no opportunity, in the immediate future, for me to do more Commissioner Gordon, but I continue to be optimistic that it will happen again.”
The character Gordon is the police commissioner of Gotham City and works with Batman to fight crime in the urban metropolis and so any return would most likely to be set in the world of The Caped Crusader.
Simmons is currently starring alongside Hugh Jackman in the Jason Reitman directed film ‘The Front Runner’ in which he plays campaign manager Bill Dixon to Jackman’s senator alter ego Gary Hart who has an extramarital affair exposed.
Simmons has revealed that filmmaker Reitman refers to him as his “muse” because of the fantastic working relationship they have developed on previous projects such as ‘Juno’ and ‘Up In The Air’.
He said: “He did actually use that label, for many years. It’s a beautiful thing, from my perspective. Any time the phone rings and it’s Jason, I’m happy to sign up. I signed up for this, not even really understanding what the part was, just because I knew it was Jason and I wanted to work with him. What the movie does, and I think what Jason wanted the movie to do, is provoke discussion and debate. He didn’t want to come down on the side of Gary Hart being a guilty adulterer, and that it’s a good thing he’s not president, and he didn’t want to come down on the opposite side and say that the press should have left him alone and he should have been president. He wanted to leave all of those questions open for debate.”

James Wan taking Resident Evil back to its scary roots

OHMYGOSSIP — James Wan and Greg Russo’s reboot of the ‘Resident Evil’ movies is going to take the franchise back to its scary “roots”.
The survival horror video game series was brought to the big screen by Paul W. S. Anderson but after making six movies – all of which starred his wife Milla Jovovich as protagonist Alice – he brought the series to a close with 2017’s ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’.
Now, Wan and Russo are returning to the Umbrella Corporation and the characters that Capcom created for the console market to make a new movie which has the same scares as the original 1996 video game and more recent releases.
Wan is previously responsible for creating the ‘Saw’ and ‘Insidious’ movies and ‘The Conjuring Universe’ and Russo – who has finished his script – is very excited about what he can do with his story.
Speaking to website DiscussingFilm, he said: “I worked on the reboot for about a year and then producer James Wan came in, my involvement on that project has kind of concluded, so I’m not sure what they’ll really do with it, I submitted my draft to the producers and they were happy with it and ultimately they’ll do what they will with the property but I’m currently not involved with that film. Obviously, I’m a huge fan of the franchise so to work on that was a lot of fun. And they’ve made six films before so when you come back to that and reboot it, you wanna do something different and not just rehash.
“For me it was very clear-cut that I wanted to go back and make it scary again like a horror film in terms of the classic James Wan style so that was the pitch, going back and looking what made the games scary in the first place.”
And Russo has revealed his script was influenced by the latest title in the series ‘Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’ which was a first-person survival horror game which put the player inside a terrifying house of horrors.
He spilled: “‘Resident Evil 7’ was a bit of a touchstone for my draft … not to shame the original film franchise that was made, I think that did very well, when you create a fresh reboot and look at the over the top action of the Paul Anderson franchise, it was fun and really cool but at the end of the day, for me as a fan of the original game franchise, I always considered the franchise to be horror at the forefront and action as a secondary feature. So it just made sense to go back to the horror roots.”

Jennifer Garner in a ‘good place’ with Ben Affleck

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are in a “good place”, despite finalising their divorce just weeks ago.
The former couple, both 46, had their 13-year marriage officially dissolved last month, and despite having “ups and downs” this year – with Ben completing a 40-day stint in rehab for alcohol addiction after Jennifer staged an intervention and drove him to the treatment centre – they are said to still be on good terms.
A source said: “They have both had some ups and downs this year, and they seem to be in a good place.”
The pair are also determined to keep co-parenting their three children – Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six – as “seamlessly” as possible.
Speaking to People magazine, the insider added: “Jen and Ben continue to work together to make their parenting as seamless as possible. They really like to do things as a family, be it outings, church, cooking or watching movies.”
The comments come after it was claimed the pair spent Thanksgiving (22.11.18) together at the ‘Justice League’ star’s home in Montana.
Another source said: “Jen, Ben and the kids were in Montana for Thanksgiving. This was long planned. They always celebrate big holidays together as a family. The family all spent Thanksgiving together and they all cooked.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Peppermint’ actress – who is now in a relationship with CEO John Miller – and Ben were recently said to be “putting the kids first”.
An insider said this month: “Ben and Jen have been dedicated to making sure their divorce doesn’t affect their kids. They want to keep the communication healthy so that they can make decisions together in the best interest of their children. It’s been wonderful for Jen that Ben has been so present and involved. She wants to do this right and everyone is so incredibly proud of her for rising above the past and putting the kids first.”

Roseanne Barr still has spoken to Sara Gilbert

OHMYGOSSIP — Roseanne Barr still hasn’t spoken to Sara Gilbert after she “reached out” to her former co-star.
The 43-year-old actress has claimed that she has tried to speak to her former ‘Roseanne’ co-star after she sparked backlash over a racist tweet earlier this year – which saw her eponymously titled show cancelled by ABC – but she is yet to receive a response.
Sara told Australia’s TV Week magazine: “I reached out to Roseanne but we haven’t spoken yet.”
Her new comment comes after both she and Laurie Metcalf claimed in October to have tried to contact Roseanne to no avail.
When asked if Roseanne had responded, Laurie said: “Not yet.”
Roseanne’s decision to shun her former co-stars comes as ABC chose to launch a spin-off show called ‘The Conners’ following the cancellation of ‘Roseanne’, which featured all the original cast – including Sara as Darlene Conner-Healy and Laurie as Jackie Harris – except for the titular star, whom they killed off via an overdose.
But the cast insist they were emotional about the decision, as Laurie says one scene in the first episode in which she discusses the “grief” with Sara’s character made her “choke up”.
She said: “Sara and I had this scene in the first show where we addressed the grief. Sometimes when you’re an actor and you have to go to that place, you substitute something, but in this case there was no need to do that, because it was there. And it was real. And still makes me choke up, because that part of it’s been really hard.”
In September, however, Roseanne branded ABC’s decision to kill off her character as “cruelly insulting” to the fans of the original program.
She said: “Oh ya, they killed her. They have her die of an opioid overdose.
“There’s nothing I can do about it. It’s done. It’s over. [But it] so cruelly insults the people who loved that family in that show.”

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky won’t hire a nanny

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky don’t rely on nannies to look after their children.
The couple have daughter India, six, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, four, and despite their hectic schedules, they have a parenting pact which means one of them is always around to look after the brood, so they don’t have to reply on external help.
Speaking on Australia’s ‘Today’ show, Elsa, 42, said: I think it is important for us, for one of us to be there. I don’t think I’d be able to work if [Chris] didn’t have the time to be with them … He’s such a good dad.”
Elsa’s comments come after ‘Bad Times at the El Royale’ actor Chris recently claimed that parenting is much more “difficult” than he was expecting.
When asked the biggest challenge he’s faced in his life, the 35-year-old star said: “Having children! It’s much more difficult than you think it’s going to be. You have to change your thinking and be completely there for them.
“But they have also taught me what real love is and what true responsibility means.”
While parenting has made Chris less selfish, he doesn’t feel the changes he’s made have been “sacrifices”.
He added: “Your life becomes more focused and you don’t have time to get distracted by unimportant things any more.
“You become a lot less selfish and suddenly you’re thinking almost exclusively in terms of creating the best possible life for your wife and children.
“But I don’t feel as though I’m giving up anything or making any sacrifices.
“I had my share of wild times when I was younger and that kind of stuff was never that interesting to me anyway.
“When I met Elsa, I was very comfortable with the idea that she was someone I wanted to share my life with and build something for the future.”

Paris Hilton’s friend called cops to her house for missing car keys

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Hilton’s friend called the police to her home after he was unable to find his car keys – but she had taken them from him because he was drunk.
The 37-year-old television personality had cops turn up at her home in Los Angeles where she was hosting a party, when one of her friends assumed his car keys had been stolen by Paris’ housekeeper.
According to TMZ, police arrived at Paris’ home when her unnamed pal drunkenly dialled 911 and accused the blonde beauty’s housekeeper of taking away his car keys, only to find that Paris herself was behind the act.
The former ‘Simple Life’ star had nabbed his keys because he was far too drunk to drive, and so she’d been acting in the interest of safety.
Police believed Paris was being sensible in taking away the man’s keys, and left the scene with no further action being taken.
TMZ reports the man eventually went home via Uber.
Paris’ sensible decision comes after she herself was arrested for a DUI back in 2006, and said at the time she would have been unable to live with herself if anyone was injured or, worse, killed while she drove drunk.
The blonde beauty’s party comes after she reportedly called off her engagement to actor Chris Zylka, whom she got engaged to in January after a year of dating.
A source said: “They broke up a few weeks ago. The relationship moved very fast, and she realised it wasn’t right for her. She is traveling the world for her skincare and perfume. She wishes him all the best and hopes they can remain friends.”
And her friends aren’t thought to be shocked about the split, because they all believed the wedding was “never going to happen”.
The insider added: “This wedding was never going to happen. They never had an engagement party and Chris’ parents never even met Paris’ parents. They postponed the 11/11 date without a new date. No one is surprised by this at all. Paris got caught up in wanting a wedding and she just didn’t think about the marriage part. It was never going to work with Chris.”

Jack Fincham voted leave in the EU referendum

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham voted leave in the EU referendum.
The ‘Love Island’ winner – whose girlfriend Dani Dyer’s father Danny Dyer infamously slammed former Prime Minister David Cameron over the vote – followed advice from his family when he decided to back the campaign for Britain to quit the European Union, but admitted he “doesn’t really have an opinion” on the subject now.
Speaking on ‘Jeremy Vine’ on Monday (26.11.18), he said: “The reason I voted out… it’s one of those things where my whole family wanted me to vote out.
“We all went together to the polling station – my mum, my little brother and everything… and yeah I voted out – purely because my family did. But in terms of now, I don’t really have an opinion on it.”
With a deal to leave the EU currently not finalised, Jack admits there is a lot of “confusing” information around but he’d just like the political situation to be resolved sometime soon.
He said: “There are so many different opinions on it – everyone’s got their own view and opinion on it – it’s confusing.
“I just want everyone to stop arguing about it and for it all to be sorted out.”
Jack’s comments come following Danny’s infamous rant on ‘Good Morning Britain’, in which he slammed the former Prime Minister for “scuttling off” following the Brexit vote and claimed “no one” knew what they had actually voted for.
He said: “No one has got a f****** clue what Brexit is. No one knows what it is. It’s like this mad riddle.
“What’s happened to that t**t Cameron who brought it on?”
“Let’s be fair. How come he can scuttle off? He called all this on. Where is he? He’s in Europe, in Nice with his trotters up. Where is the geezer?”

Kym Marsh to be a grandmother at 42

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has announced she is going to be a grandmother as her daughter Emilie is pregnant with her first child.
The 42-year-old ‘Coronation Street’ star couldn’t be happier that Emilie, 21, is expecting a baby with her boyfriend of six months – although she has known him for years – and is looking forward to being a very hands-on grandparent.
Speaking in the new issue of OK! magazine – which features mother and daughter on the cover – Kym said: “I’m looking forward to being a young grandmother. We’ve both had time to get our heads around it and now we’re over the moon. It makes me feel so emotional that my baby is having a baby of her own.”
Emilie was nervous about telling her mum and her dad – who is Kym’s ex-boyfriend Dave Cunliffe – that she was pregnant but she need not have worried as they were both very supportive.
Emilie – who previously auditioned for pop star search show ‘The Voice’ – said: “I keep thinking, am I really going to be able to do this? For ages I couldn’t actually get the words ‘I’m pregnant’ out of my mouth because I didn’t know how people would react – I even made mum tell my dad! “Luckily I have the most supportive parents in the world and they’re both really excited.”
Kym herself was only 18 when she fell pregnant with her oldest son David and she gave birth to Emilie when she was 21, the same age her daughter is now, and she knows her experience of being a young mum will help her child adapt to parenthood.
The former Hear’Say singer – whose own mum was 18 when she had her brother – said: “I know what it’s like to be young and pregnant – it’s scary, but Emilie will be a great mum … Me, Emilie and David are best friends and I think that’s because there isn’t a huge age gap between us.”
Kym and Emilie’s full interview appears in this week’s OK! magazine which is out now.

Coronation Street’s Amy Barlow to get pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ teenager Amy Barlow will fall pregnant in a new dramatic 2019 storyline.
The 14-year-old schoolgirl – who is played by 16-year-old actress Elle Mulvaney – will see her world turned upside down when she discovers she is expecting a baby and when her parents Steve and Tracey McDonald, played by Simon Gregson and Kate Ford, discover her pregnancy kit they will hit the roof, with Tracy threatening to “kill” the boy responsible.
Amy will turn to her grandmother Liz MacDonald (Beverley Callard) for help as she is faced with the decision of keeping the baby or having a termination.
A source told The Sun’s TV Bizarre column: “Amy is seen sobbing her heart out, asking her granny Liz to help. Steve finds a pregnancy kit and tells Tracy about it and they both lose their rag. Tracy says she wants to kill the baby’s father. They demand an abortion and Amy agrees but changes her mind at the 11th hour.”
New show boss Iain MacLeod recently confirmed that Amy would be the focus of a major plotline story in the New Year.
He said: “Into the New Year, we’ve got a massive story that plays to some of our older cast, but equally we’ve got huge new chapters for characters like Daniel and Sinead, who are obviously towards the younger end of the spectrum. We’ve got a big story for Amy Barlow coming up. But that’s all because the writers have brought amazing stories for those characters. I haven’t briefed them and said I want a big story for them, as I like it to be quite organic.
“When I came back onto the show, it was a bit like going into the attic of your house and finding a box of toys that you’d forgotten you had. My preferences are quite broad. I love all of the historical characters, but we’ve got a very talented younger cast as well … I’m pleased to say that since arriving, the story conferences we’ve had are brimming with really good ideas for a whole range of characters and age ranges.”
The plot is similar to the gripping storyline which was shown on screens back in 2000 when 13-year-old Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) got pregnant and decided to keep her baby Bethany, who is now a teenager in Weatherfield and is played by Lucy Fallon.

Oprah Winfrey’s mother Vernita Lee has died

OHMYGOSSIP — Oprah Winfrey’s mother Vernita Lee has died aged 83.
Vernita – who had the TV icon with Vernon Winfrey – passed away on Thanksgiving (22.11.18) at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but a cause of death has not yet been determined.
Vernita – who worked as a housekeeper throughout her life – has already been laid to rest at a private funeral, according to PEOPLE.
She is survived by Oprah, 64, and her other daughter, Patricia Amanda Faye Lee. Vernita is also survived by her four grandchildren – Alisha Hayes, Chrishaunda Lee Perez, Aquarius Lofton and Andre Brown – and four great grandchildren – Jaxon Praise Perez, Chai Theresa Perez, Donovan Hayes and Trinity Hayes.
Vernita gave birth to Oprah at the age of 14, shortly after meeting Oprah’s father. But she subsequently moved to Milwaukee to become a maid, meaning the American icon was raised by her grandmother.
The duo had a distant relationship until later in Oprah’s life, and they eventually appeared together on Oprah’s eponymous talk show in 1990.
Meanwhile, Vernita’s son Jeffrey Lee passed away in 1989, while her third daughter, Patricia Lee Lloyd, died in 2003.
During a TV interview, Vernita revealed how her faith in God helped her through the death of her two children.
She shared: “I’m a Christian lady, and if you’re a Christian person, it helps you to deal with situations like that.”
Vernita also spoke of how proud she was of Oprah, who has stayed away from social media since her mother’s passing.
She said: “I loved her the way that she loves people now.”

Brendan Cole slams Strictly scoring

OHMYGOSSIP — Brendan Cole has slammed the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judges for “overmarking” the contestants.
The 43-year-old dancer – who appeared in 15 series of the show but was dropped ahead of the current season – can’t understand why both head judge Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli awarded Joe Sugg and his partner Dianne Buswell perfect marks for their street dance as there were flaws in the performance, which were pointed out by fellow panellist Craig Revel Horwood.
He said: “Joe and and Dianne are once again being over marked and over praised for their number.
“Don’t get me wrong as he danced it well, even though I for one didn’t really like it.
“The fact that Shirley can say that they were completely in sync and give it a 10 (alongside Bruno) and then Craig states the complete opposite (and thank goodness he did) is beyond me.
“They clearly were not in sync and it clearly wasn’t perfect. He did dance it well and some of the choreography was very clever.”
Saturday’s (24.11.18) show was mired in controversy when there was confusion over the scores in the Lindy Hop-A-Thon, which was blamed on a technical glitch, and Brendan admitted he found the whole segment “odd”.
He wrote in his blog for HELLO! online: “I have to say I, like many others on social media and on the odd forum was rather unsatisfied with the whole show especially the farcical ‘Lindy-a-thon’ where the head judge read out the wrong result leaving no jeopardy.
“Why they needed an iPad to tell them the result that the four of them had just decided on we, the viewer, will never know but it all seemed a little odd.
“I guess we will never know what really went on with this but the constant over marking and hiccups like this one aren’t doing our beloved ‘Strictly’ any favours.”

Jerry Springer to host new court room show

OHMYGOSSIP — Jerry Springer is to present a new court room TV show.
The 74-year-old star – who is best-known for presenting the controversial ‘Jerry Springer Show’ series, which debuted in 1991 – is set to front ‘Judge Jerry’, a new NBC show that will listen to testimony and deliver verdicts in front of a live studio audience.
Looking forward to the new project, Jerry – a former lawyer – explained: “For the first time in my life, I am going to be called honourable. My career is coming full circle and I finally get to put my law degree to use after all these years.”
The new show is set to debut in 2019, after Jerry previously admitted to being presented with various offers since his show ended last year.
Speaking earlier in 2018, the American star – who presented 27 seasons of ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ – shared: “Other people have come and talked about possible television projects, but I don’t know that I can maintain this schedule that … has been insane for all these years.”
The ‘Jerry Springer Show’ attracted worldwide attention for its controversial topics and outrageous guests.
But Jerry previously admitted that his biggest passion in life is politics, rather than the sorts of issues he dealt with on his own show.
He confessed: “My passion is politics, and I’ve always been able to separate how I make a living from my passions. I don’t want to get paid by politics or religion.”
In fact, Jerry explained that he entered the entertainment industry by accident rather than design.
He said: “My first job was working in Bobby Kennedy’s campaign. Then I ran for office in Cincinnati as an anti-war candidate and for some reason I won. I never had any intentions of making it in entertainment.”

Benidorm: The Movie

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Benidorm’ is getting a spin-off movie.
The popular sitcom was axed by ITV after 10 years over the summer, but following the success of a stage production based on the show, creator Derren Litten has revealed his friend Shane Richie has encouraged him to write a film.
He told MailOnline: “Shane Richie came to see our touring show ‘Benidorm Live’ and said, ‘That’s the movie, right there.’
“I’d always declined the offer of meetings regarding a ‘Benidorm’ movie but the stage tour is proving so popular and the story I came up with would work so well as a film to tie up the end of the TV series we’ve put the wheels in motion.”
And the 47-year-old director claimed there’s even a “very big American movie star” who is keen to be a part of the sunsoaked saga.
He added: “We already have interest from a very big American movie star who apparently is a fan. British movies are notoriously difficult to fund but if it does happen, you can blame Shane Richie.”
Derren’s comments come after Sherrie Hewson, who played hotel boss Joyce Temple-Savage, recently let slip she could be returning for a big screen adventure.
She said: “There may just be a film coming.
“That’s a bit of an inside scoop! It will be happening, it’ll just be a bit different. But it will still be fabulous. I can’t wait.”
In September, ‘Benidorm’ won the Best Comedy honour at the TV Choice Awards and Derren joked it was “awkward” to be picking up the accolade under the circumstances.
He said: “This is a bit awkward – the show’s just been cancelled. I have huge respect for ITV – a show that’s getting 5.5million and still picking up awards. But they’ve cancelled it. That takes balls.
“It’s like being sacked from your job, then being nominated for employee of the month.”

Chrissy Teigen says Yassir Lester is the funniest tweeter

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen thinks stand-up comedian Yassir Lester is the funniest person on Twitter.
The 32-year-old model – who is known for her enthusiastic tweeting – revealed she considers Yassir to be the most humorous person she follows on the micro-blogging platform, but she also joked that he’s “extremely forgettable”.
Chrissy tweeted: “interviews often ask me who the funniest person I follow on twitter is. I NEVER remember to say him, but the answer is @yassir_lester. so what I’m saying is he is very funny but also extremely, extremely forgettable (sic)”
Earlier this year, Chrissy revealed sees Twitter as her “connection to the world”.
The American star admitted she loves being able to interact with her followers and that she just relishes the opportunity to talk with so many different people.
The model – who has more than ten million followers on Twitter – shared: “People are like, ‘Why do you have time for all of these strangers?’ But that is my outside connection to the world.
“I genuinely love doing it. I always have. I enjoy talking to people and feeling like I know them and having this conversation.”
Chrissy briefly abandoned Twitter after she received threats following a message she posted about gun control.
But she refuses to bite her tongue on issues she feels passionately about.
Chrissy – who is married to chart-topping musician John Legend – said: “Our lives would be so much easier if we didn’t dabble in politics at all, but I don’t want that kind of life. For us, we are willing to take that risk, because we believe in it so passionately.”

Elle Macpherson walks in seawater to reduce bloating

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Macpherson walks in seawater to reduce bloating.
The 54-year-old supermodel insisted the trick is “one of the best things” for the body as it tones legs and waist and she has found that spending an hour in the ocean is a “great diuretic” if you’re experiencing water retention.
In an interview with Get The Gloss, she said: “Walking in seawater is one of the best things I can do for my body. It tones the legs and waist, it’s great for minerals and if you have any water retention, it’s a great diuretic.
“I walk in thigh-high deep or knee-deep water for 40 minutes to an hour.”
Alongside her fitness regime, Elle – who is the founder of plant based beauty range WelleCo – swears by a “wholefood plant-based” diet providing “pre and probiotics” in order to stay healthy and reduce unwanted bloating.
She explained: “Because good health starts with a healthy digestive system, I rely on a wholefood plant-based diets that contain ingredients rich in pre and probiotics for supporting a healthy gut and digestive system, this helps reduce bloating and many IBS symptoms. ”
As well as bloating, the blonde beauty has also shared the simple trick she uses to avoid jet lag after long haul flights.
She said: “I take two teaspoons of Super Elixir [from WelleCo] before I get on a plane, another two teaspoons diluted in a litre of water in-flight and two more when I land.
“I rarely eat on the flight to give digestion a rest. I just drink lots of water. Honestly, I can get straight off a long-haul flight, go straight to a board meeting and feel really well. It works for me!”
