Kym Marsh to be a grandmother at 42

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has announced she is going to be a grandmother as her daughter Emilie is pregnant with her first child.
The 42-year-old ‘Coronation Street’ star couldn’t be happier that Emilie, 21, is expecting a baby with her boyfriend of six months – although she has known him for years – and is looking forward to being a very hands-on grandparent.
Speaking in the new issue of OK! magazine – which features mother and daughter on the cover – Kym said: “I’m looking forward to being a young grandmother. We’ve both had time to get our heads around it and now we’re over the moon. It makes me feel so emotional that my baby is having a baby of her own.”
Emilie was nervous about telling her mum and her dad – who is Kym’s ex-boyfriend Dave Cunliffe – that she was pregnant but she need not have worried as they were both very supportive.
Emilie – who previously auditioned for pop star search show ‘The Voice’ – said: “I keep thinking, am I really going to be able to do this? For ages I couldn’t actually get the words ‘I’m pregnant’ out of my mouth because I didn’t know how people would react – I even made mum tell my dad! “Luckily I have the most supportive parents in the world and they’re both really excited.”
Kym herself was only 18 when she fell pregnant with her oldest son David and she gave birth to Emilie when she was 21, the same age her daughter is now, and she knows her experience of being a young mum will help her child adapt to parenthood.
The former Hear’Say singer – whose own mum was 18 when she had her brother – said: “I know what it’s like to be young and pregnant – it’s scary, but Emilie will be a great mum … Me, Emilie and David are best friends and I think that’s because there isn’t a huge age gap between us.”

Shirley Ballas can’t predict Strictly winner

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas thinks this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ winner will be a surprise.
The show’s head judge is usually “really good” at guessing who will take the glitterball trophy from the start of the contest but this year, she thinks the standout couple has changed every week and she has no idea which way the audience will vote.
She admitted: “Normally I am really good at picking the person from week one but this cast has been so diverse and each week it’s changing.
“I truly would not like to call it but I say to the viewers that they are responsible for the voting and they can make a difference – and I don’t think it will be the person people think it will be.
“Viewers like seeing dancers where they start off with no experience, although they also like people who can deliver great dances. It’s very hard to call.”
Shirley is enjoying her role on ‘Strictly’ so much, she’s considering permanently relocating to the UK from America and is busy renovating her south London house so she has a comfortable base.
She told the new issue of HELLO! magazine: “I am in the middle of a seven-month renovation of my Dulwich house.
“I will have that as my base here now and am looking forward to that. I would love to settle over here; I think I will always keep my home in America as it’s close to my son, Mark Ballas.”
Though there has been much of a talk about a ‘Strictly’ ‘curse’, Shirley doesn’t think the way relationships end and new ones start among the contestants should be viewed as a bad thing.
She said: “If they are single there is no problem, is there? And I don’t think it’s a curse because some people really do find love.”

Guns N’ Roses cut show short due to Axl Rose illness

OHMYGOSSIP — Guns N’ Roses had to cut their Abu Dhabi show short due to illness.
Frontman Axl Rose stepped up at the concert on Sunday night (25.11.18) but despite performing almost 20 songs, he was ultimately forced to leave the stage after spending most of the day “throwing up”.
In fan-filmed footage, he can be heard saying on stage: “They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections, ’cause I got sick today, I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours.
“So instead of cancelling, I’m gonna do the best show we can for you.”
Eventually the ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ rockers were forced to call it a night, and guitarist Slash thanked the crowd for understanding.
He tweeted after the concert: “Abu Dhabi, you guys were f***ing great tonight!
“Axl was severely ill. But you all were hugely supportive. Thanks for that. We’ll see again next time! Cheers! (sic)”
Meanwhile, bassist Duff McKagan added that the crowd “pulled” Axl through, and described his performance as miraculous considering his condition.
He wrote: “Thank you Abu Dhabi! @axlrose pulled a damn miracle… the man was beyond ill, and pulled off something I’ve never seen in my 40 yrs of playing. You all pulled him thru. Til next time! (sic)”
Last month, Slash admitted he was “sceptical” about his bandmate stepping in to join AC/DC after Brian Johnson was forced to quit performing on doctors’ orders in 2016.
However, he was pleasantly surprised when he went to see the ‘Back in Black’ icons in action.
He previously said: “The Axl-doing-AC/DC thing, I went and checked that out, and it was awesome. I was probably as sceptical as anybody because of the iconic status of the band… He pulled it off and it was great.”

Cheryl’s defiant arena return

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl was grateful for her fans’ support as she performed at Manchester Arena on Sunday night (26.11.18).
The former Girls Aloud singer has had to deal with her share of backlash from critics, after both a lukewarm response to comeback single ‘Love Made Me Do It’ and a controversial performance on ‘The X Factor’.
However, Cheryl made a defiant return as she delivered a well received show in Manchester at the Hits Radio Live event over the weekend.
Taking to Twitter after the concert, she tweeted: “I [love] Manchester!”
When fans heaped praise on her for the performance, the 35-year-old star shared a heart emoji and replied: “Means the world to me”
Kicking off her set with ‘Call My Name’, Cheryl reminded the audience of her chart-topping credentials.
She belted out hit singles ‘Crazy Stupid Love ‘ and ‘Fight For This Love’, before taking on her newest track despite recent criticism.
The show came after Cheryl admitted she will “move on” with her life if her musical comeback is a flop.
The singer – whose son Bear was born in March last year – revealed that motherhood has transformed her outlook on life, meaning she now measures her success by happiness rather than by record sales.
Asked about single ‘Love Made Me Do It’, Cheryl recently said: “If it goes in at 80, it’s time for me to move on with my life. I’m not going to jump around working hard and spending time away from my son for that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Kravitz thinks being a Tiffany & Co. brand ambassador is “empowering”.
The 29-year-old actress is taking her second turn fronting a campaign for the luxury jewellery brand and the star has praised the iconic retailer and thinks their latest holiday-themed film – which sees her become lost in a fantasy world of presents – had “elements of magic”.
In an interview with Vogue Australia, she said: “I always love when people are grateful with the way that they present their product, you know, and especially being a holiday campaign there’s kind of these elements of magic I think that we all associate the holidays with.
“I thought that was interesting to rethink what that magic is, you know, which is really kind of the same idea when it comes to holidays.
“The whole idea of going down the rabbit hole, you know, the Alice in Wonderland concept was something I just loved.
“And it also felt kind of empowering; it’s not about someone getting a gift or a man giving a woman a gift, its a little adventure that someone goes on, on her own which is something that I like.
“You don’t have to wait for someone to buy you your gift; you can always go down the rabbit hole and buy your own, if you want.”
It’s not the first time the ‘Big Little Lies’ actress has worked with the brand, and she feels that Tiffany “appreciate” her and don’t want to “change” who she is.
She said: “Whenever I work with a brand I always try and suss out if they want to manipulate or change me to buy and sell a product.
“The brands I’ve worked with so far have all been brands that I feel appreciate me for me and they don’t want me to have to change who I am in order to represent their brand.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale credits her youthful complexion to a serum containing ‘liquefied foreskins’.
The 45-year-old actress underwent a bizarre £465 facial that includes a special epidermal growth factor (EGF) serum – which uses stem cells from the cloned foreskins of South Korean infants – to revitalize her skin following a long-haul flight and said that the procedure was “amazing”.
Taking to Instagram to show off the results, she said: “After a long flight I do like to lie down and be covered in a mask of liquified cloned foreskins-frankly who doesn’t?
“Thank you @georgialouisesk for an amazing facial. I especially liked you reassuring me it would be “light on penis” as it was my first time x” (sic)
The ‘Underworld’ actress isn’t the only star who swears by the drastic treatment and 54-year-old actress Sandra Bullock is also a fan of the so called “Penis Facial” insisting the procedure keeps her looking youthful.
She previously joked: “I think when you see how good it is to your face you to will run to your local facialist, and say ‘give me the penis!'”
The actress was such a fan of the facial she even turned her ‘Ocean’s 8’ co-star Cate Blanchett, 49, on to the treatment who confessed that although she wasn’t sure what was in the facial – it “smells a bit like sperm”.
She previously said: “Sandy [Sandra] Bullock and I saw this facialist in New York, Georgia Louise, and she gives what we call the penis facial and it’s something.
” I don’t know what it is, or whether it’s just cause it smells a bit like sperm — there’s some enzyme in it, so Sandy refers to it as the penis facial.”

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer to host National Television Awards red carpet

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer will present the red carpet coverage at the National Television Awards (NTAs).
The ‘Love Island’ winners – who found love and won the show this summer – are “honoured” to have been named backstage and red carpet correspondents at the upcoming ceremony and can’t believe they’ll be working alongside “TV legend” Dermot O’Leary, who fronts the annual event, in January.
They said: “It has already been such an exciting year for us and to top it off, we’ve been asked to work alongside TV legend Dermot O’Leary at the National Television Awards.
“Last year we were at home on the sofa watching the show so it’s an honour to be involved this year, we can’t wait! Fingers crossed Love Island is in the running on the night too. Bring on 2019!”
As well as fronting coverage for ITV on 22 January, Dani, 22, and 26-year-old Jack will also be taking over the NTAs’ official social media channels for the night.
The longlist of nominees for the 2019 NTAs was announced in October and the shortlist will be announced in January, when the final round of public voting will take place.
This year’s ceremony – which take place at The O2 in London – will feature 14 awards, including a new category for New Drama.
The addition to the prizes honours the exciting selection of shows which have launched in the past year, and the longlist included ‘Bodyguard’, ‘A Very English Scandal’, ‘Killing Eve’, ‘Trauma’, ‘Strangers’, and ‘Bancroft’.

Joe Swash gets cockroach stuck in ear

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Swash was rushed to hospital after getting a cockroach stuck in his ear – but medics were unable to remove it.
The ‘I’m a Celebrity… Extra Camp’ star had a medical drama hours after wrapping filming on the live spin-off show on Sunday (25.11.18) and was told he’d have to wait 24 hours to see a specialist because doctors couldn’t get the creature out of his ear canal.
Joe documented the incident on his Instagram Story.
He said: “So, we’re just on the way to the hospital to get a cockroach sucked out of my ear. All the perks of this job, eh!”
He then shared a follow-up clip in which he said: “Just walking up to the hospital. Still can’t quite believe that I’ve got an animal that’s living in my ear hole.
“Don’t make yourself at home son, because you’re coming out!”
The 36-year-old actor – who is in a relationship with Stacey Solomon – had a long wait to be seen then after leaving hospital revealed to his followers that doctors had been unable to help.
He said: “Just got out the hospital. Doctor said they can’t get the cockroach out my ear. I’ve got to see a specialist tomorrow so they can use some special equipment on it.”
Joe’s ear woes came less than a week after his ‘Extra Camp’ co-host Joel Dommett was forced to miss a show when he needed seven stitches to his head after being badly knocked by a sign as severe winds played havoc in Australia during rehearsals.
However, Joel – who came second in the 2016 series of the Australian jungle reality show – still had his sense of humour intact as he joked about having a “half day” and watched his colleagues Scarlett Moffatt – who beat Joel to be crowned Queen of the Jungle two years ago – and 2008 winner Joe from the comfort of his hotel room.
Alongside a picture of himself getting fixed up in the medical room and a selfie taken afterwards, he wrote on instagram: “Unfortunately due to unforeseen windy circumstances blowing the set onto my head during rehearsals, I won’t be able to present Extra Camp this evening. I had seven stitches like a big brave boy and I’ll be back tomorrow. To be honest I’m less worried about my health and more worried that the show will be better without me. Half a day off school to go home and watch neighbours! Woo! GOOD LUCK @scarlettmoffatt and @realjoeswashy (sic)”

J.K. Simmons ‘optimistic’ for DC return

OHMYGOSSIP — J.K. Simmons is “optimistic” that he will reprise his role as Commissioner Gordon in the DC Extended Universe films.
The 63-year-old actor impressed fans when he portrayed the police officer in 2017 blockbuster ‘Justice League’ and although he does not know exactly what films Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment have in the pipeline he would return to the role in a heartbeat.
Speaking to Collider about his chances of playing Gordon again, Simmons said: “Nothing has changed. There are conversations going on, that I’m not going to make public. As far as I know, there’s no opportunity, in the immediate future, for me to do more Commissioner Gordon, but I continue to be optimistic that it will happen again.”
The character Gordon is the police commissioner of Gotham City and works with Batman to fight crime in the urban metropolis and so any return would most likely to be set in the world of The Caped Crusader.
Simmons is currently starring alongside Hugh Jackman in the Jason Reitman directed film ‘The Front Runner’ in which he plays campaign manager Bill Dixon to Jackman’s senator alter ego Gary Hart who has an extramarital affair exposed.
Simmons has revealed that filmmaker Reitman refers to him as his “muse” because of the fantastic working relationship they have developed on previous projects such as ‘Juno’ and ‘Up In The Air’.
He said: “He did actually use that label, for many years. It’s a beautiful thing, from my perspective. Any time the phone rings and it’s Jason, I’m happy to sign up. I signed up for this, not even really understanding what the part was, just because I knew it was Jason and I wanted to work with him. What the movie does, and I think what Jason wanted the movie to do, is provoke discussion and debate. He didn’t want to come down on the side of Gary Hart being a guilty adulterer, and that it’s a good thing he’s not president, and he didn’t want to come down on the opposite side and say that the press should have left him alone and he should have been president. He wanted to leave all of those questions open for debate.”

Mel B claims ex took her money

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B has suggested Stephen Belafonte stole her money.
The Spice Girls star has spoken openly about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband – who she divorced last year – and has now claimed he stopped her from driving and took control of her finances.
In a frank and honest discussion on ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (26.11.18), she said: “An abuser cuts you off so you don’t have anywhere to turn to and you can’t drive a car, you don’t have control over your finances.
“It just happens bit by bit, I’d be working and he’d go to the accountant meeting for me, – you think he’s being really nice when he’s stashing money everywhere and taking it out of my bank.”
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge – who has Phoenix, 19, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar, Angel, 10, with Eddie Murphy, and seven-year-old Madison with Stephen – explained how the producer laid down strict rules on the home and though she “fought” against some of them, others she simply accepted because she feared the ramifications of her arguing against her spouse.
She said: “My kids weren’t allowed to eat at the table, it’s all about control, he would set rules I had to abide by and some were worth fighting for and some weren’t because of the ramifications, especially when I’m working and doing live TV – I didn’t want to be having to cover another bruise and make up another lie.
“I bought them a table and made sure they were allowed to eat presentably at a table. Of course I hid that, there were lots of things I hid but that was one of the sad things about that kind of behaviour I got into.”
The 43-year-old singer believes Stephen deliberately targeted her when she was at a “vulnerable” point in her life.
She said: “I thought he was a respectable, honest, loving, giving person but he was anything but any of that. These men – and it happens the other way – they find you, they hunt you down and seek you out at your most vulnerable point, emotionally and physically. I wasn’t looking for a relationship, I was heartbroken from ending my relationship with Eddie Murphy, I was pregnant with his baby.
“[He was] very charming, these kind of relationships start with someone presenting everything and more that you think you need and it ends up being completely different.
“Looking back there were so many warning signs but when you’re in that relationship, very abusive on many levels, you end up taking the blame and feeling you have to make the marriage work.”
In response to Mel’s claims on the show, presenter Jane Moore explained Stephen had been given a “right to reply”, in which he “denied all the allegations against him”.

Kerry Katona speaks with brother for the first time

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona was left in tears after speaking to her biological brother for the first time.
The 38-year-old TV personality confessed to her 325,000 Instagram followers that she became “emotional” after seeing and speaking to her half-brother – who she found after hiring a private detective to track down her father in 2008 – over FaceTime and she can’t wait to meet him in person.
On her Instagram account, she wrote: “Omg just spoke to my Biological brother for the first time on facetime! Emotional isn’t the word! Can’t wait to meet face to face. happy tears xxxxx (sic)”
The former Atomic Kitten star has previously explained her complex family tree and revealed that the reason she was so keen to meet her brother as she was never able to meet her father.
She said: “When I was born, Mum was seeing another guy, who I used to call dad. His dad was my ‘granddad’.
“Then my mum left him for his dad. So the man I called dad became my brother and the man I called granddad, who was 30 years older than my mum, became my dad. They got married – the most stable period of my childhood. Then my mum left him for a woman.
“I hired a private investigator to find my birth dad four years ago. He got me a picture and video of him, and I was happy to leave it at that.
“I didn’t want to knock on his door and say to his wife, ‘Hey, your husband had an affair. And guess what? His daughter’s Kerry Katona.’
“That’s a kick in the teeth innit? But he died a few weeks after I got that photo, and now he’s gone I regret not meeting him. Especially when I found I had half-brothers and sisters and his widow said, ‘If you’d knocked on our door 10 years ago, we’d have welcomed you with open arms.’ That’s a void that will never be filled.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham got star-struck when she met Jennifer Lopez.
The 31-year-old model stayed up late just to meet the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker after one of her last concerts and she even “broke a cardinal rule” when she caught a glimpse of her pop idol sitting with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.
She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “Of course, I went to the after party, I wanted to meet her oh-so badly. So I waited up really late because I’m not a night person, I’m a morning girl, but I was like, ‘I’m gonna meet JLo’, and I broke a cardinal rule.
“I don’t like it when people come up to me when I’m eating, and I don’t want to go up to a celebrity when they’re eating, but she was eating and it was late and I needed to go.
“So I went up and sat next to her while she was eating next to A-Rod, and I just said, ‘Hi, I’m Ashley Graham, it’s so nice to meet you. Thank you so much for having me tonight.’ And she goes, ‘Oh hi it’s nice to meet you.’ ”
And Ashley quickly went from being worried about bothering the ‘Shades of Blue’ actress to bombarding her with requests.
She continued: “And I say, ‘First of all, I have a podcast, it’s called Pretty Big Deal and actually Kim Kardashian was just on it, and we were talking about you and how you’ve just been body goals for us, you know I’m a curvy girl, you’re a curvy girl, she’s a curvy girl, so hi, would you like to be on it? Oh, can we take a selfie.’ Then click click click.
“And she’s like, ‘Just have fun, have fun tonight.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m gonna. Thank you.’ ”

Drake is building a 941 square feet master bedroom in his new mansion

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake wants his bedroom to feature a hot tub, a kitchenette and two adjacent dressing rooms.
The 32-year-old star has started work on his new 35,000 square feet pad in Toronto and he has elaborate plans for the 941 square foot master suite, which is situated on the second floor of the $4 million property.
According to plans obtained by TMZ, the main bedroom will boast a staircase entrance, two dressing rooms and two wardrobes – which make up one large wardrobe area – a steam shower and tub with a skylight above, a kitchenette and two balcony areas complete with an outdoor hot tub.
The ‘God’s Plan’ rapper also has two acres of land, four guest bedrooms, two saunas, a massage room, a ten-car garage, an elevator, a gym, a screening room and a full basketball court.
Aside from building his dream home, the ‘In My Feelings’ singer has been hard at work on his new album which he promised fans will drop in 2019.
Although he only dropped ‘Scorpion’ in June, Drake previously teased fans that he plans to head straight back into the studio after he has a “little break”, following his joint ‘Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour’ with the trap trio, which wrapped up on November 18 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The producer told the crowd at his show at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada, earlier this month: “Okay, six shows left. I guess, you know, I guess – I’m gonna tell you what I’m going to do. Because I keep having nights like this that remind me why I love my job so much.
” I promise you that as soon as this tour is over and maybe I take a little break, I’m gonna get right to work on a new album so we can be back right here in Edmonton and have a new party.”

Cheryl says being single mum is ‘enriching’

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl thinks parenting has been “enriching”.
The former Girls Aloud singer and her former partner Liam Payne welcomed son Bear into the world in March 2017, and she now feels like she’s joined an exclusive “club”.
She said: “It enriches you, it changes you as a person.
“I used to hear people say I feel like I’ve joined a club that I never knew existed but I get it now.”
And now she has a child, the 35-year-old singer “understands so much more” about women and motherhood and thinks it’s “amazing” what females can “achieve with their bodies” and adapt to the changes in their lives.
She gushed: “We’re awesome. How you click into motherhood when you have your child… it’s pretty mind blowing.”
The ‘Love Made Me Do It’ hitmaker is starting to plan for Christmas but she’s not planning to take Bear on a trip to see Santa because she thinks he’d get freaked out.
Speaking backstage to Sarah-Jane Crawford at Hits Radio Live on Sunday (25.11.18), she said: “People have asked me, ‘Are you going to take him to see Father Christmas?’ [but] I think he would still be a little bit worried.
“[It will be a], ‘Who’s this guy with the long beard?’ moment.”
The ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ hitmaker split with Payne in July after two years together, however the star insisted she is doing perfectly “awesome” as a single parent and is enjoying her journey as a first-time mum.

The 26-year-old actress has revealed that her nana loves watching her as her Weatherfield character Sophie Webster in the ITV show but she never wants her granddaughter to spill any secrets of the upcoming storylines because she loves to watch the plots unfold as they are aired on the small screen.
Speaking to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on ‘This Morning’, she said: “Yeah, my nana loves a bit of ‘Corrie’, she doesn’t like to know what’s happening though.”
Brooke’s alter ego Sophie is currently embroiled in turmoil on the cobbles as her mother Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) faces Christmas behind bars following con-artist Duncan Radfield (Nicholas Gleaves) defrauding council money and pinning the blame on her, and although Sophie believes her mother will be released because she is actually innocent the case against Sally is not looking good.
Brooke added: “At the end of the day, everyone is brought up to believe if you’re innocent you won’t get in trouble for it. There are a lot of people that really don’t believe that Sally is innocent and I really, really do and I think, I’m probably one of the people that only do.”
Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher) is Sally’s lawyer and has also been in a lesbian relationship with Sally’s daughter Sophie and the actress admits that the romance has not come at a good time for any of the parties involved.
Stirling said: “She’d have to be a flippin’ magician with what’s going on at the moment!
“The relationship was a very poor call [by them]. I think Paula is a very straightforward kind of a woman, and she’s confident that she can talk herself out of an emotionally eruptive situation. It’s entirely dreadful timing.”

Cary Fukunaga loves Duran Duran Bond theme

OHMYGOSSIP — Cary Fukunaga’s favourite James Bond theme is Duran Duran’s ‘A View to A Kill’.
The 41-year-old filmmaker is directing ‘Bond 25’ and he has admitted that the British band’s up-tempo rock song – from the 1985 movie of the same name – always stuck in his head and he’d like something similar for his movie, despite strong speculation Dua Lipa is in line to lay down the title track.
Speaking to Inquirer, he said: “I have an older brother who is seven years older than me, so all of the music that was his favourite became my favourite music. To me, Duran Duran’s Bond theme song (titled the same as the movie) was probably one of the best Bond songs ever, because I love Duran Duran.”
Despite the rumours, ‘New Rules’ hitmaker has insisted that no such offer has come her way, though she would be “over the moon” if she did get the opportunity to record a Bond theme.
Dua previously said: “I haven’t! I don’t even know where all these rumours began. But of course, I’d love to do the Bond theme tune. So many amazing artists have done it. It would be a great opportunity. If the rumours are true, I’m over the moon.”
Cary also admitted that he is very much looking forward to working with current Bond Daniel Craig and hinted that he would be continuing the “character arc” which began with the actor’s first outing as the suave spy in 2006 film ‘Casino Royale’.
the director said: “In his first Bond movie, ‘Casino Royale,’ he brought an incredible amount of vulnerability and humanity to the character, which was a big shift from Pierce Brosnan’s run. In terms of what I can bring to change the character, Bond is on a character arc that started with ‘Casino Royale,’ and I will be carrying that on. There will be changes, I am sure. As in any story, a character has to change in order [to have] a narrative.”
