Scooter Braun defends Pete Davidson amid fan backlash

OHMYGOSSIP — Scooter Braun has defended Pete Davidson over the abuse he’s received from Ariana Grande fans.
The 37-year-old entrepreneur – who represents Ariana – has leapt to the defence of the singer’s former fiance, who returned to Instagram on Wednesday (28.11.18) to promote his new movie and his post was inundated with mean-spirited replies from Ariana’s fans.
Scooter subsequently urged the fans to “stop the bulls**t”.
He added: “It is nothing like that and Pete is a good dude. No one has hate for this guy and he is a stand up guy. Show respect because trust me, everyone on this side knows he deserves it and wishes him well.”
Ariana, 25, and Pete started dating in May and announced their engagement in June.
But the high-profile duo ended their romance last month and Ariana recently admitted that the last 12 months of her life had been “challenging”.
The brunette beauty – whose ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died from an accidental drug overdose in September – wrote to her fans on Twitter: “i love y’all so damn much. thank u so so much for everything
“what an interesting, challenging, painful and yet beautiful and exciting chapter of life ….. when it rains it pours but i’m embracing all of it. i’m excited for whatever else the universe has in store for me. she’s growing n she’s grateful. (sic)”
Prior to that, Ariana told a fan on social media that therapy had saved her life “so many times”.
One fan wrote: “who is ariana’s therapist and are they accepting new clients (sic)”
The ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ hitmaker – who has suffered with post-traumatic stress disorder since a suicide attack at her concert in Manchester, England, in 2017 – responded: “lmaoaoo this is funny as f**k but in all honesty therapy has saved my life so many times. if you’re afraid to ask for help, don’t be. u don’t have to be in constant pain & u can process trauma. i’ve got a lot of work to do but it’s a start to even be aware that it’s possible. (sic)”

Catherine Zeta-Jones says Michael Douglas loves ‘Southern Belle twang’

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Zeta-Jones revealed Michael Douglas loved her “Southern Belle twang” for ‘Queen America’.
The 49-year-old Welsh actress plays a ruthless pageant coach from Oklahoma in the new Facebook Watch series, and she joked her 74-year-old partner is a big fan.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Michael has this thing, he has this passion for the Southern Belle twang thing. He goes ‘You know, Southern women have that warm, wonderful kind of voice’.
“[I said], ‘Oh, OK, yeah. Like, all Southern women have that? Or just a few that you’ve met in your life?’ I was practicing my accent, [and] he loved it.”
The loved up couple – who have son Dylan, 18, and 15-year-old daughter Carys together – have been married for 18 years, and she explained how they are able to make it work.
She said: “We don’t work at the same time. We make time for ourselves, because we have the ability of turning off… We don’t live in LA.
“We don’t consume ourselves with the whole industry. Our friends are in business and politics and finance and the art world. We don’t live breathe talk, I don’t read his scripts he doesn’t read mine… so we’re able to turn it off.”
It comes after Catherine revealed how important honesty is to a relationship, and insisted that was the secret to nearly two decades together so far.
She recently said: “Both Michael and I have a very open relationship. When you have kids that didn’t ask to be born into a world where [the marriage is] scrutinised or looked into.
“You’ve got to be open and honest and share things that probably people at the drug store wouldn’t share over the counter.”

Kate Beckinsale: I’m torn between having another child and having fun

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale feels torn between having more children and “getting annihilated”.
The 45-year-old actress – who already has a 19-year-old daughter called Lily with fellow Hollywood star Michael Sheen – has revealed she’s open to having another child, but she also loves the freedom she’s currently able to enjoy.
Asked whether she’d have another child, Kate – who dated Michael from 1995 until their split in 2003 – said: “I definitely would, but then I think ‘Oh God, I annihilated my twenties and I suddenly get a taste of freedom and annihilate myself again?’ But I am open to seeing what happens…”
By contrast, Kate insists she was much more boring during her younger years, revealing she was voted the “sixth most boring person” at her college and that she “didn’t drink at all”.
The ‘Underworld’ actress – who was previously married to movie director Len Wiseman – told Tatler magazine: “I didn’t like drinking vodka out of a welly.
“In fact, I didn’t drink at all, which meant there was no real chance of getting into my knickers – so what was the point of me? I was deeply unpopular.”
Kate explained that having finalised her divorce from Len in 2016, she doesn’t feel the need to rush towards the next chapter in her life.
Instead, the British beauty insisted she’s currently “quite happy” with where she finds herself and with the freedoms that come with it.
Kate said: “When you get divorced, everybody waits to see where you land. But I might not land anywhere for a bit.
“I’m really quite happy: it’s quite nice to have a bit of Virginia Woolf time.”

Dwayne Johnson takes sides on pineapple pizza debate

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has defended pineapple on pizzas.
The Hollywood star opened up about his diet backed the fruit topping – which has been the subject of a tongue-in-cheek debate – and joked if he can have “tequila and brown sugar” with cereal, he’ll eat anything.
Taking to social media, he wrote on Instagram: “Got the glorious text from my strength and conditioning coach @daverienzi that read ‘DJ, need a mid week carb up for your big scenes tomorrow. Eat a pizza and send me your pics in the morning’ to which I responded – Watch. This.
“We’re having fun strategically manipulating my diet/body for shooting ‘HOBBS & SHAW’ (my ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off film) and I love these midweek pizza carb ups like a drunk loves free peanuts.

When a follower joked that they thought former WWE champion Johnson would be more of a “more of a pepperoni/meat lovers pizza kind of guy”, he had a quick response.
He quipped: “Pepperoni and meat lovers were in the other two boxes.”
It comes after Dwayne “greedily” ate over 100 pieces of sushi for his “Sunday cheat meal”.
The ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ star recently wrote: “The cheat meal Sunday Sushi Train rolled on this past weekend with some power and a ton of that wooosabi.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian says social media users “hate” Kim Kardashian West for her insulting comments on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.
The 38-year-old reality star argued that Kourtney, 39, was the “least exciting to look at” of her sisters, and in a teaser clip from an upcoming episode of the show, Kourtney is seen reacting to the online backlash against Kim.
Speaking to Kim and her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Kourtney quips: “Oh my god, people are going so crazy. People hate Kim from her comment on the show.”
Kim – who is married to rapper Kanye West – subsequently tried to clarify her offensive remarks.
The American star explained: “We got into a fight. I said, ‘You’re the least exciting to look at.’
“What I meant is you’re the most boring. People think that is like I said, ‘Kill your mom.'”
In the clip, Kourtney insists they should not seek to “justify” their spat.
But Scott – who has kids Mason, eight, Penelope, six, and Reign, three, with Kourtney – comes to the defence of Kim.
He said: “But that’s your sister! You say bad things about her too. You call her a porn star every time I talk to you.”
Another social media claimed Kourtney ought to feel grateful towards her younger sister for helping to make ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ a worldwide success.
In response, Kourtney quipped: “I was gonna write back and say, ‘If it wasn’t for my personality and being funny then our show wouldn’t exist.'”
And Scott – who split from the brunette beauty in 2015 – added: “Ha! For sure, without you this whole thing would be dead.”

Dani Harmer to return as Tracy Beaker next month

OHMYGOSSIP — Dani Harmer is set to return to screens as Tracy Beaker for the first time in six years, in a one-off special airing next month.
The 29-year-old actress played the iconic moody teenager in CBBC show ‘The Story of Tracy Beaker’ from 2002 to 2005, before reprising her role in ‘Tracy Beaker Returns’ from 2010 to 2012, but six years after she last took on the famous character, she’s set to play her one last time.
Airing on December 7, ‘The Dumping Ground’ will be a one-off special spin-off which will see Dani take on Tracy Beaker once again, alongside former ‘EastEnders’ star Michelle Collins.
But Dani – who is now mother to two-year-old daughter Avarie-Belle – says coming back to the role posed a whole new set of problems to when she first started the show at just 12 years old.
She said: “You don’t realise when you have your first child how difficult trying to find child care is, it’s crazy, especially with a job like mine.
“It definitely takes an army.
“We all pitch in and it’s sometimes a bit like pass the baby but luckily she loves her family and it actually helps her development.”
Dani also admits she still gets stopped on the street by people who believe she actually is the fictional character, but says she doesn’t mind so much because its just a sign they did “a great job” on the show.
Speaking to The Sun’s Bizarre TV column, she added: “I do have the odd occasion where people actually think I am Tracey Beaker in real life and the whole thing is real.
“And I just put it down to the fact that we really did a great job on that programme.”
‘The Dumping Ground’ sees Tracy return to the foster home for carer Mike’s wedding day, but when the groom goes missing, everyone must reunite to find him and save the day.

Rosie Williams refuses to appear in Love Island Christmas special

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ star Rosie Williams has refused to appear in the show’s Christmas special.
The 26-year-old beauty has reportedly rejected the chance to star in the ITV programme’s Christmas special because she feels anxious about seeing her old flame Adam Collard, who dumped her in favour of fellow contestant Zara McDermott.
A friend told The Sun Online: “Rosie has refused to go on the show.
“ITV begged her to go back and offered her a lot of money because they want to see the reaction between her, Adam and Zara.
“But she doesn’t want to be put in that situation again.
“Rosie tends to downplay it a lot, but what happened on ‘Love Island’ had such a negative effect on her anxiety.
“She wasn’t herself during the show, so when her friends heard there was a Christmas special they were praying she wouldn’t go anywhere near him out of fear for her mental health.
“Her decision not to do it is down to the anxiety she had during her time in the villa and she doesn’t want to go back to that.”
Rosie is also veering away from the show because she has moved on from her summer fling with Adam and is now loved-up with 31-year-old businessman Wayne Davies – who she is soon going to be moving in with.
A representative for Rosie explained: “She’s really happy in her new relationship, so it wouldn’t make sense for her to go on ‘Love Island’.”
The friend added: “She’s really, really happy with her new man and she’s actually moving in with him.”
Host Caroline Flack recently gave fans a sneak peak behind the scenes of the Christmas special – which will air in December – and shared scenes of her hanging out beside a luxurious swimming pool.

Tom Hanks eyed for role in Disney’s live-action Pinocchio

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hanks is in talks to play Geppetto in Disney’s live-action remake of ‘Pinocchio’.
The 62-year-old actor is reportedly being eyed for the role as the woodworker who creates the titular wooden puppet – who is then brought to life by a fairy – in Disney’s upcoming remake of the classic 1940 animated movie, which comes as part of the company’s live-action remake line.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Paddington’ director Paul King is set to helm the project, which is the next movie in Disney’s live-action roster to head into production.
The original Disney ‘Pinocchio’ film was the second animated movie made by the studio after 1937’s ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, and was adapted from a story by Italian author Carlo Collodi.
‘Pinocchio’ tells the tale of a wooden puppet who is brought to life by a fairy, who then tells him he will become a real boy if he proves himself to be “brave, truthful, and unselfish”.
The titular character then meets Jiminy Cricket, who acts as Pinocchio’s conscience and tries to steer him in the right direction, as he faces a series of adventures which include Pinocchio being kidnapped to be part of a puppet show, turned into a donkey and swallowed by a whale.
Chris Weitz and his Depth of Field partner Andrew Miano are producing the remake, whilst the script is being penned by Paul King, Chris and Paul’s ‘Paddington’ collaborator Simon Farnaby.
Meanwhile, Netflix is currently also planning a ‘Pinocchio’ project, with Guillermo Del Toro set to write and direct a stop-motion musical version.

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra is still annoyed Nick Jonas didn’t try to kiss her on their first date.
The 36-year-old actress is poised to marry the American star, but ahead of their big day, Nick admitted his wife-to-be is still upset that he didn’t try to smooch her during their first date at Priyanka’s home.
She recalled: “We hung out for a couple of hours … he patted my back before he left.”
Nick admitted: “There was no kiss. There was nothing.”
But Nick, 26, revealed he didn’t think a kiss was appropriate because Priyanka’s mother was in the house watching TV during their date.
Speaking to Vogue magazine, he shared: “She’s still upset about that. Your mom was in the house! I thought it was a respectful first night.”
But Priyanka quipped: “It was too respectful if you ask me.”
The Indian actress – who starred in the ‘Baywatch’ movie in 2017 – admitted to being charmed by Nick’s outlook on life.
During one of their dates, he told her: “I love the way you look at the world. I love the drive you have.”
Reflecting on that moment, Priyanka added: “As a girl, I’ve never had a guy tell me, ‘I like your ambition.’ It’s always been the opposite.”
The actress and Nick will reportedly get married on December 1, with the ceremony rumoured to be taking place at the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace, in Jodhpur, India.
The couple’s traditional Indian ceremony will be followed by a Christian one, encompassing both traditions of the pair.
A source recently said: “There are several events leading up to the wedding, including a Christian ceremony, which will all be in India.
“They will culminate with the Indian wedding on December 1 at the palace, where they will tie the knot under a traditional four-pillar structure, a mandap.
“There is a mehndi event planned, where they will be decorated with henna body art, among other traditional Hindi pre-wedding events.”

Eiza Gonzalez joins Hobbs and Shaw cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Eiza Gonzalez has reportedly joined the cast of ‘Hobbs & Shaw’.
The ‘Baby Driver’ actress is said to be part of the ensemble for the upcoming ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off which will see Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham reprise their roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw respectively.
According to Variety, her character was a last minute addition with sources telling the publication that bosses wanted to last Gonzalez for the part.
However, the exact role is unknown, and it’s said scheduling has had to be worked out around her filming for ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’.
The upcoming movie will see David Leitch directing from a script penned by ‘Fast & Furious’ writer Chris Morgan.
It will see the often-at-odds duo teaming up, while both Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby are on board for the project.
Johnson recently praised ‘The Crown’ actress, who will take on the role as MI6 agent Hattie Shaw.
He shared a photo from the set of himself and Kirby and wrote on Instagram: “Building out our Fast & Furious franchise step by step. In our spin-off, HOBBS & SHAW, I have a nice new friend. Meet “Hattie Shaw” played by my homegirl, @vanessa__kirby.
“Hattie loves the following/ Longs walks on the beach. Being a bad ass MI6 Operative. Drinking tequila with Hobbs. And not in that order.
“Hattie also happens to be the sister of Deckard Shaw, who’s played by @jasonstatham. It tortures him that his sister Hattie is kickin’ it with Hobbs.
His pain makes me very happy.
“But what makes me happier is welcoming this crazy talented actress and cool chick to our movie. Havin’ a blast together. Building out the franchise step by step.

Miguel and Nazanin Mandi stayed together the night before their wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Miguel and Nazanin Mandi opted to stay together the night before their wedding.
The 33-year-old singer and the 32-year-old actress recently tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the outskirts of Los Angeles, having been together since 2005, and Nazanin has now revealed how she and her husband decided to break away from tradition the night before their wedding.
She said: “We discussed it and he was like, ‘Nah, I’m sleeping next to you. I don’t give a damn, I’m sleeping next to you.’ And the night before we had a rehearsal dinner and we actually went to bed at 10 pm, we were so exhausted, and woke up at 5:30 am and did a workout! We did a wedding bootcamp.”
Miguel and Nazanin eased their pre-wedding nerves by putting themselves through a gruelling workout prior to the ceremony.
Nazanin told E! News: “It was at 6 am with my trainer Tori and she brought the weights, she brought the jump ropes, she brought our ab wheel, she was ready to go.
“We had my maid of honour, his best man and his best man’s girlfriend and it was the five of us and we rocked it out for an hour in front of the venue, like right next to the tables and the decorations. We worked out!”
Nazanin also admitted to being reduced to tears by the sight of Miguel in his wedding outfit.
She shared: “He has his back turned away in his tuxedo and then I finally tapped him and we both just started crying. And then everyone started crying! And then I looked to my left, the house is to my left, and everybody in the house is at the window [watching] and it was amazing. It was my dad and my family and [Miguel’s] family, it was amazing.”

Zayn Malik’s second album coming December 14

OHMYGOSSIP — Zayn Malik will release his second album on December 14.
The 25-year-old singer – who left boy band One Direction in 2015 – dropped his debut solo album ‘Mind of Mine’ in March 2016, and over two years later, he’s announced plans for his second record to be released in two weeks time.
Titled ‘Icarus Falls’, Zayn revealed the album’s release date on Twitter on Friday (30.11.18) morning, when he posted a 22-second clip of a new track called ‘Rainberry’.
In one Tweet he wrote: “#ICARUSFALLS
“14th December
“Pre-order: http://smarturl.it/IcarusFallsZZ (sic)”
And in another tweet, which shared a video with the same ‘Rainberry’ audio but also featured lyrics to the track, he added: “+ a new tune: http://smarturl.it/ZRainb3rryZ #Rainberry (sic)”
‘Icarus Falls’ will feature a whopping 27 tracks, and will include the songs Zayn has released over the past months including ‘Let Me’, ‘Sour Diesel’, ‘Entertainer’, and ‘Fingers’.
The album also includes his two recent collaborations, ‘No Candle No Light’ which features Nicki Minaj, and ‘Too Much’, featuring Timbaland.
Meanwhile, Zayn revealed earlier this year that the rollout of tracks from his second album would be different from anything any other artist has ever done.
He said: “I’m trying to keep it as mysterious as possible but there’s a plan with the roll out It’s going to be different to I think anything anyone has done before, I don’t think has done it this way. So it’s going to be interesting to see how the audience react to this kind of release but wanted to try something different. And I think it’s all going to make sense in the end when the album finally drops.”

Robbie Williams to open X Factor final

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams will open the ‘X Factor’ with a greatest hits medley.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker and talent show judge doesn’t have any acts competing to win this weekend, but he will kick-start Saturday night’s (01.12.18) live show with a performance flanked by the finalists.
As reported by The Sun newspaper’s TV Bizarre column, Robbie and the 10 contestants will take to the stage to sing a mash-up featuring tracks like ‘Rock DJ’ and ‘Freedom’.
An insider told the publication: “Fans have been gunning for Robbie to perform all series and that’s finally going to happen.
“He’s been a real highlight of this year’s show and it was a real feat to get him as a judge, so the medley is going to be a celebration of that.”
He will also be performing during the finale the following night as he rejoins his Take That bandmates – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – for highly anticipated reunion.
While Robbie’s wife Ayda Field – who appeared on the panel alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Tomlinson – also doesn’t have an act in the final, she has loved her experience on the show.
However, she admitted working with her husband hasn’t taught her anything she didn’t already know about her man.
She said: “Simon is even more competitive than you think and is a master of this job.
“Louis has a big heart and even bigger Instagram following. Robbie? I knew everything about him already.”
‘The X Factor’ final airs over Saturday (01.12.18) and Sunday (02.12.18) at 7.30pm on ITV1.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jackie Chan claims he blew a lot of his fortune on prostitutes, gambling and “generous gifts”.
The 64-year-old actor blamed “insecurity and immaturity” on his behaviour in his younger years, which also saw him drive when drunk, even crashing two luxury cars in one day.
The ‘Rush Hour’ star first found success as a stuntman, which is when he started spending his money on gambling and prostitutes, in particular one woman who he new only as “number nine”.
In excerpts from his autobiography, ‘Never Grow Up’, obtained by DailyMail.com, he revealed: “We all knew that if something went wrong, we wouldn’t live to see the sun rise the next day. We had a short-term mentality which means recklessly spending our money.”
And when his career as an actor took off, the ‘Drunken Master’ couldn’t resist splashing the cash.
He wrote: “I started to carry large amounts of cash at all times. After you live in poverty, cash gives you a sense of security.
“I like having lots of people around me and every meal was with a big gang. Around 10 years ago, I spent $2m paying for other people’s meals.
“I gave out extravagant gifts too; watches, cars, custom-made leather jackets, cases of expensive wine”.
Elsewhere in the book, Jackie confessed he was a “total jerk” in his personal life, treating women badly and even throwing his toddler son Jaycee, now 36, across the room in a fit of rage, though the youngster was unhurt.
He also told how he cheated on his wife Joan Lin and was so paranoid she was a golddigger when she fell pregnant, he “constantly thought of ways to keep [his money from her.”
He admitted: “I’ve not been a good father or a good husband but I did my duty to my son and his mother…
“I behaved so badly because of my deep insecurities. Ever since I was a little boy I’d been looked down on by rich kids.”
Jackie also admitted to being filled with “shame” because he can’t read or write and even his limitless American Express card is unsigned as a result.

The 32-year-old actress enjoyed a “romantic relationship” with the ‘Nymphomaniac’ actor while shooting the 2007 and its 2009 sequel, ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’, but insisted it didn’t last beyond their work on the franchise, from which she was fired for making negative comments about director Michael Bay.
She said during a game of ‘Plead the Fifth’ on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’: “I mean I would confirm that it was romantic. I love him, I have never been really quiet about that, I love him.”
Asked if it was an on-set romance that didn’t go anywhere afterwards, she said: “Yeah.”
Megan also confessed to ruining the walls of her house when she got into a fight with husband Brian Austin Green.
Asked about previous comments that she’d destroyed the house during a row, she said: “I think I was being a little… that was hyperbole a little bit.
“I did one time get really angry at him and wrote in Sharpie a bunch of Nietzsche poems on his wall.”
Megan’s confirmation of her relationship with Shia comes after he hinted in 2011 they had been more than just co-stars while working on the action franchise.
He previously said: “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them.
“I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing.
“I think you can see the chemistry on screen.”
Megan and Brian – who have sons Noah, five, Bodhi, four, and Journey, two, together – got engaged in November 2006 after two years of dating but split in February 2009, reconciling a year later and marrying in June 2010. The ‘New Girl’ actress filed for divorce in 2015, but later announced she was pregnant with their third child and they had reconciled by the following year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Snooki was worried about not being able to get pregnant again.
The 30-year-old reality TV star – who revealed earlier this month is expecting her third baby with 31-year-old husband Jionni LaValle – admitted she was concerned because of how long it was taking the couple to conceive.
Speaking on her YouTube channel in a video documenting the earliest days of her pregnancy, she said: “I’m just super excited to get this going.
“Me and Jionni have been trying to have a baby since July and now it’s finally happened. I was getting a little worried because it wasn’t happening as soon as I wanted it to.”
Snooki – who already has six-year-old son Lorenzo and four-year-old daughter Giovanna – recently revealed the exciting news with her followers on social media.
The ‘Jersey Shore’ star posted a picture of her kids holding up her ultrasound scan and captioned the image: “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving (sic)”
Snooki and Jionni, 31, have been married since 2014 and the reality star previously admitted the loved-up couple were “trying” for another baby.
Speaking in August, she shared: “I’m trying now. I’m practising now. It’s going good. I’m not pregnant yet but, I mean, we’ve been practising for a month now so…”
Prior to that, Snooki conceded that parenthood had transformed her life and forced her to behave in a more mature way.
She revealed, too, that at one point in her life, she “didn’t even like kids”.
Snooki said: “On ‘Jersey Shore’ I was in my early 20s. I describe that period as being in my college years. The only thing I was thinking about was living it up and having fun.
“Once I met Jionni, I started to calm down. However, when I got pregnant, I knew things were going to be different. I was terrified. I was never really good with kids, and at one point, I didn’t even like kids.
“When Lorenzo arrived, my whole life completely changed. Everything came naturally and was so beautiful. I found myself not wanting to go out and just wanting to be with him all the time.
“Lorenzo has made me more mature and more responsible, and he made me grow up.”
