OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Comer has “retired from heels”.
The 26-year-old actress – who plays fashionista assassin Villanelle in BBC Three’s ‘Killing Eve’ – has revealed that she loves her character’s “style” but it doesn’t relate much to her own wardrobe of jeans and “flats” – which she finds are better to “dance” in.
Speaking to co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge for ELLE UK’s ‘Modern Love’ issue – which is on sale from April 4 – Jodie said: “I wish I was as bold as her. What I love about Villanelle is that she has a particular style.
“I feel like if you look through her wardrobe, there’s a definite theme running through it. I’m definitely a jeans girl, which I think she’s absolutely not. I’ve also retired from heels at the age of 26… The range of dance moves you can do in a flat shoe.”
The ‘Doctor Foster’ star also insisted that she is the most “confident” version of herself when she is “acting”.
She added: “I’ve always, always felt more confident within my acting than within myself. I feel like I believe in myself more within my work. I would love if you could write me roles for the rest of my life, what do you think about that? Are you up for that?”
And fellow actress Phoebe also spoke about her own insecurities, as she said that focusing on doing things she loves helps to make her body hang-ups “fall away”.
She said: “I feel like when I’m on set working with people I love, with my head in the work, all those things fall away. I stop caring about any of that shit. When women are given the chance to really work or really have a character that does deeper than skin deep, then it suddenly all disappears.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Browning wanted to be a “fashion designer” when she was a child.
The 30-year-old actress is known for wearing classic cuts and pastel colours when she is on the red carpet, however the ‘Legend’ star has revealed that before her successful acting career, she wanted to be a wardrobe dresser and would create her own designs, which her grandmother would bring to life.
She said: “I wanted to be a fashion designer, I used to do little drawings and my grandmother would make them for me. She was a dressmaker.”
And the Australian beauty insisted that she opts for “jeans and tees” when she is working, but her red carpet outfits are selected by one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stylists, Karla Welch.
She added: “Anything fancy is all Karla’s [Welch] work, when I’m working it’s jeans and tees.”
Meanwhile, Emily also explained that she doesn’t “engage” with the internet because it makes her “anxious”, and the star was “bullied” in primary school so she tries to stay away from negativity online by not looking.
Speaking to Australia’s Vogue, she continued: “I’m anxious enough as it is. I would be a mess if I was a teen today with all the social media stuff. Do I engage with the internet? I do not.
“Typical actor story, I was bullied really badly in primary school, switched schools and it was a much more flexible, free school and a friend was looking for an eight-year-old girl and asked if I was interested and I got the part.”

The 40-year-old reality star – who has been married three times – has delivered the put down to her first spouse, whom she met when they were both contestants on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2004 and was married to from June 2005 until September 2009.
Katie was being interviewed along with her mother Amy on ‘Good Morning Britain’ when Piers Morgan asked which one of the former glamour model’s many partners Amy has liked the most.
Piers asked: “Has there been one that you’ve preferred of all of them?”
Claiming that her current lover Kris Boyson is Amy’s favourite, Katie answered: “You like Kris out of everyone, don’t you.”
Amy then responded: “I think Kris is nice. He’s quite good, quite a strong character I think.”
Katie then jokingly asked Amy: “Who’s your worst one mum?”
Amy replied: “I’m not going there, I’m not allowed to say.”
After the busty beauty interjected to “clear up something” – referring to Pete’s previous appearance on the chat show in which he said he could not discuss their children Princess, 11, and Junior, 13 due to a “legal issue” – stating: “There’s no legal case on anything by the way, just thought I’d clear that up”.
Piers then asked Katie “Who was the worst one for you?”
To which she quickly said: “Pete.”
After splitting from Pete, Katie married cage fighter Alex Reid in February 2010 but they separated in bitter circumstances in January 2011.
She then went on to tie the knot with Kieran Hayler in January 2013 but their relationship ended last year due to his extra-marital affairs.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake paid tribute to Nipsey Hussle during the opening night of his London residency at The O2 arena on Monday evening (01.04.19).
The 32-year-old rap star – who is on his ‘Assassination Vacation Tour’ – kicked off the much-anticipated first night of his seven night stay at the venue by paying homage to the late rapper, who was shot dead outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31.
Drake stood in the centre of the stage and opened up about the ‘Racks In The Middle’ rapper whilst telling his fans that he was “thankful” to be with them.
Drake said “He [Nipsey] was somebody that provided for his people, somebody that always treated you with respect when he saw you, somebody that commanded respect when he walked in the room.
“So I really want to do this shout out for Nip tonight and I just want everybody to look around and be grateful and happy that we’re all here together, alive and well, because life can end at any moment. I just want to say I love you, I’m thankful to be with you tonight. London, as long as you’ll have me back I’ll stand in the middle of this building and give you everything I’ve f**king got. Cheers to my brother, rest easy my g. London, I love you.”
Whilst on stage Drake projected an image of Hussle’s face onto screens before he performed the track ‘Elevate’ from his latest album ‘Scorpion’.
Before the song started, he told the crowd: “Want you to make some noise for the people who love you unconditionally because you never know how short life is.”
The Canadian rapper and DJ Tiffany Calver also brought out special guests to join the ‘Nonstop’ hitmaker onstage, with Unknown T and Digdat making an appearance.
Giggs also joined the rapper for their track ‘KMT’, from Drake’s 2017 mixtape ‘More Life’.
Drake’s set was packed with hits and he ended his concert with ‘God’s Plan’ much to the delight of the capacity crowd.

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Harrelson goes on a “friendship tour” with Bono, Matthew McConaughey and Chris Rock every year.
The 57-year-old actor has opened up about his annual trip he takes with his A-List friends after he posted an image on Instagram alongside Sacha Baron Cohen, Chris, Bono, Matthew, Guy Oseary, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, Lars von Trier and artist JR in 2018.
The ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ star revealed that that he spent last summer at U2 singer Bono’s house in the south of France and everybody happened to be in the same place at the same time.
Harrelson joked: “We all just kinda ran into each other. You know, just moseying around France.”
Revealing on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ that he uses his rich pal’s holiday homes for his own vacations each year, he added: “We were all in the south of France at Bono’s. I take a ‘friendship tour’ pretty much every year.I thought about calling it a ‘Bender Where I Leech Off My Rich Friends’, but I thought, ‘No, friendship tour!’ You just go, stay at their house, drink oblivious, great!”
The ‘Venom’ star also admitted that he’s thinking about moving to Texas after spending most of his time in Maui.
He added: “I mean I’m mostly living in Maui but i’m pondering about moving to Texas but I don’t know. You know what it is, it’s just something different, it’s great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale says motherhood meant she “never had a plan” when it came to her career.
The 45-year-old actress fell pregnant with Lily, her daughter with her former partner Michael Sheen, when she was 26, and admits that her career choices became “quite schizophrenic” but now her 19-year-old girl has gone off to college she’s looking forward to working more and finding her “sensibility”.
She said: “I’ve never had a plan but not having a plan has meant that I’ve had this quite schizophrenic career where I could do various low-budget things and then I’ll suddenly do an action thing, and then I’ll do something like ‘The Widow’.
“So it’s interesting, now that my daughter is a bit older, I want to find out what my sensibility is.”
Kate admitted she held off taking a lot of jobs when Lily was younger because she didn’t want to travel too “far away” because she wanted to be at home to care for her.
In an interview with Radio Times magazine, she said: “When I was younger, I got a bit blindsided by suddenly finding myself pregnant and having to be a mum.
“I’ve been saying for years, ‘When my daughter goes to college, then I’m going to be able to go off and do jobs that are far away.’ ”
And not long after Lily left home, the actress received a call offering her a role in TV show ‘The Widow’, which was to be filmed in South Africa.
Though the star was a “bit scared” of accepting the job, she decided to take a “leap of faith”.
She said: “They said, ‘Do you want to go to South Africa for six months and do ‘The Widow’?
“It felt like, ‘OK, it came around a little bit sooner than I was anticipating… it’s a bit of a leap of faith and I’m a bit scared and I don’t really want to, but… OK.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zara Larsson doesn’t want to get married for at least 10 years.
The 21-year-old singer may be very happy in her relationship with British model Brian H. Whittaker – a romance which began in 2017 after she contacted him on Twitter after developing a crush on the hunk from photos she saw of him – but she has no plans to wed the 19-year-old model anytime soon as she thinks the pair are too young to tie the knot.
When asked whether she was planning to wed Brian, she told UK radio station Capital FM “Oh my god, are you serious? He’s still a teenager … No. At least not for another 10 years.”
The pair met after Zara tweeted two photos of the model in 2015 with the caption, asking: “Who are you, where do you live, how old are you, why are you so fine, how do you like your eggs cooked in the morning?”
Previously recalling her Twitter search for Brian, she said: “Someone [sent his] Instagram and he saw the tweet and replied and said, ‘Hey it’s me.’
“It goes down in the dm. We started talking then saw each other and now two years later he’s my boyfriend.”
Although the couple are loved up at the moment, the ‘Lush Life’ hitmaker previously revealed that Brian doesn’t like her writing songs about her exes.
Zara’s single ‘Ruin My Life’ is about returning to a toxic relationship, and while her beau Brian is jealous that the beauty isn’t penning tracks about him, she admits she finds it hard to come up with the right lyrics for a love song.
She said: “Brian was, like ‘Why aren’t you writing songs about me ‘.
“But I think I’ve just got to tell my story and it’s also really tricky to write super good, fun, love songs that aren’t cheesy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Beverley Callard would quit ‘Coronation Street’ and spend her days doing DIY if she could afford it.
The 62-year-old star plays soap stalwart Liz McDonald on the ITV show, but she would much prefer to swap Liz’s famed leopard print outfits and mountains of war paint for baggy clothes and no make-up.
She said: “If I could afford it I would never go to work again, I would have no make-up on, I would wear baggy clothes.”
Beverley is such a big fan of doing jobs around her house and helping her husband out with home improvements she has booked herself on a polished plaster course.
She said: “I did labouring [on my birthday]. My husband built a chimney breast and I was his labourer.
“I was passing trowels, and emptying buckets of wood. I chipped off 600 tiles. I love it [DIY].
“I’m doing a course in polished plaster.”
Beverley’s alter-ego Liz doesn’t share her desire to wear baggy clothes, the bubbly blonde is often seen wearing skin-tight attire – much to the former ‘Emmerdale’ actress’ disgust.
She said: “Many times I get into my dressing room and think, ‘No, do I really have to wear that?’
“I’m sure the costume department go shopping for Liz and just have a laugh.
“Even if they find something nice for me I go, ‘That’s really nice,’ and then they take it in, so it doesn’t fit me and I look an absolute disaster.
“And they go, ‘Beverley, that’s great for Liz.’ ”
The cobbles star has teased ‘Corrie’ fans to expect to see something “quite amazing” for Liz over the coming summer and autumn months, and dropped a huge hint her on-screen husband Charlie Lawson – who plays Jim McDonald – could be back on the soap.
She said: “The summer and autumn are quite amazing. I think Prince Andrew and Fergie are quite like Liz and Jim.”
But Bev admitted she has so many lines to learn she forgets what she acted out one week after filming her scenes.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, she added: “I read my script over and over again. I was learning lines on the train for ‘Coronation Street’ tomorrow and I can remember lines from plays that I said 30 years ago, but I can’t remember what I said on ‘Coronation Street’ last week.
“It’s so fast. You file it, and it’s in the bin once you’ve done it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Bisson once missed a flight home from Dublin by two-and-a-half days – but he was let on the plane with the old ticket.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actor admits he got “carried away” during his first-ever trip to the Irish capital, and couldn’t face jumping on a plane out of the fair city because he was having such a “great” time.
He said: “The first time I came to Dublin I missed my flight home by two-and-a-half days.
“The hotel manager used to ring me every morning. ‘Mr Bisson, are you staying?’
“‘Yeah, yeah,’ and then the third day I was like, ‘I’ve got to go.’
“But it was my first time. I got carried away – it’s a great city.”
However, the 43-year-old star – who plays Jai Sharma on the ITV soap – finally managed to get out of bed and head to the airport armed with his initial ticket.
Despite being laughed at by a check-in desk assistant, she let him on the flight without charging him for an updated ticket.
Speaking on Irish evening-time TV programme, ‘The Six O’Clock Show’, he added: “I got to the airport with my old ticket that was two-and-a-half days old and went up to the desk and the woman just laughed at me.
“She went, ‘You’re two-and-a-half days late,’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, sorry.’
“And she went, ‘Go on,’ and let me on the flight.
“That was back in the day though, that was 20 years ago when it was all fine and all nice.”
While Chris didn’t fancy quitting Dublin for a few days, he previously admitted he feared his time on ‘Emmerdale’ may come to a premature end because his character was too evil.
He said: “There were very frank and honest conversations with the producer about the character saying, ‘Have we gone too far and is it time to call it a day or do we redeem him?’
“On the trajectory he was on he was unsustainable but we came to the conclusion that actually he wasn’t a bad character and that’s lovely to play.
“He came in as a much nicer character and he did go off the rails but we have really pulled him back and that’s lovely to play. It’s also lovely to play a long-term story – I’m really pleased we see his struggle day-to-day. He hits the bottle, he’s bought some drugs. It requires a lot of strength for him to hold it together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launched their own official Instagram account.
The British royal couple unveiled their own profile on the photo sharing app on Tuesday afternoon (02.04.19) and within the first hour it had already garnered well over 200,000 followers.
Alongside a message announcing the account – and a series of snaps of the couple on royal engagements – the post from Harry and Meghan read: “Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.
“We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”
So far, the only other accounts followed by the new page are Clarence House, Kensington Palace and the Royal Family.
The launch of the social media profile comes after it was revealed the couple – who are expecting their first child together – have had to delay their move to Windsor until next month as the renovations are behind schedule.
The pair were due to move into 10-bedroom Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle this week, but a source recently said: “It’s been all hands to the pump. The builders have worked all week whatever the weather. But they keep making changes, particularly on the layout.
“The word is they’ve been quite demanding, which is understandable as what homeowner doesn’t want their house to be perfect?
“Given the scale of the project, a three or four-week delay isn’t too bad. The couple are pleased with how it’s all going.”
Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, currently reside in the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London but announced their Windsor move in November.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will more to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. The couple have lived at Nottingham Cottage since their engagement last year. Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.”
They are expected to move in just weeks before their baby is born.

OHMYGOSSIP — Perri Kiely wants to prepare for Diversity’s upcoming tour at LEGOLAND.
The 23-year-old dancer visited the Windsor resort to see the new Haunted House Monster Party attraction before it opens to the public and after hearing how it makes ride-goers feel like they’ve been spun upside down, he thinks it would be a great place for the troupe to try out their tricks ahead of their upcoming live shows, which kick off in October.
He said: “We had the best day at LEGOLAND and felt pretty lucky to be the first to see the amazing new ride! It goes without saying that we’ll be back as soon as we can, and who knows, maybe we can add it into our training regime ahead of our 10 Year Anniversary Tour!”
Perri and fellow Diversity member Jordan Banjo were seen outside the ride practicing their flips and the ‘Greatest Dancer’ star can’t wait to return to the resort with his 10-month-old son Cassius when the Haunted House Monster Party opens to the public later this month.
He said: “The Haunted House Monster Party ride looks wicked! It’s packed with loads of amazing LEGO gargoyles and bats to make the whole place feel really spooky. It’s exactly the kind of ride I’d like to take my son Cass on, when he’s old enough of course – but he’ll have to beat me to it!”
The Haunted House Monster Party will open its doors to guests on April 13 at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

The 51-year-old singer will make her debut for L’Oréal Paris in an advertisement for Excellence Crème Hair Colour where she boasts the shade N*E*R*D Dark Blonde.
And Celine admits she “never saw” the collaboration “coming”, but wants to use her platform to “empower others to feel beautiful”.
In a statement, she said: “I’m at a stage in my life where I’m excited to use my voice to empower others to feel beautiful, confident, and to learn to embrace themselves.
“I never saw that coming, especially at 51 years old, I thought seriously about it because, if my name was on it, I wanted to truly believe in it.
“We, women, are all dealing with a society that is pushing so much today. OHMYGOSSIP — Ulrika Jonsson has split from her husband Brian Monet.
The 51-year-old television presenter and model – who was previously married twice, to John Turnbull and Lance Gerrard-Wright – has revealed she is getting a divorce from her third husband and American advertising executive Brian, 11 years after they tied the knot.
She said: “If I’m honest, getting another divorce age 51 is not where I thought I would be, I just don’t know what shape my future will take.
Ulrika and Brian have 11-year-old son Malcolm together, and the ‘Gladiators’ star has seemingly hinted it wasn’t her decision to end their romance.
She added: “You can only resolve problems with another person.”
Whilst the split is still fresh, Ulrika says she hasn’t even begun to think about dating again, and although she doesn’t think she’ll get married for a fourth time, she won’t rule it out completely.
Speaking to Best magazine, she said: “I can’t contemplate dating again … then again, I’ve said I will never marry again before, and I did.”
The blonde beauty – who also has son Cameron, 24, from her marriage to John, daughter Bo, 18, with former partner Markus Kempen, and youngest daughter Martha, 14, with Lance – married Brian in 2006, and the pair even renewed their vows in Barbados in 2012.
Brian adopted Bo in 2014, and Ulrika previously opened up about how the stress of her battle with depression and chronic back pain brought them closer together.
She said: “Hard times either force you apart or bring you closer together. The stresses and pressures we have experienced over the past couple of years, I am thrilled to say, have made us stronger.”

The 39-year-old actress claims she will be devastated if her 15-month-old daughter Katherine does not grow up to be passionate about shopping for the latest trends, because she wants to bond with the tot over clothing just like she and her mother did when she was growing up.
Mindy told People magazine: “If my daughter is not into shopping, then I’m screwed.
“I mean, my mom and I didn’t go do athletic activities together, like go hiking; we bonded basically through shopping and she loved clothes and fashion as much as I did. Even though growing up I obviously didn’t have as much disposable income as I have now, we could [shop] at places like DSW or Macy’s where we can actually get really beautiful designer items at not as much cost. So I hope I can do that with [Katherine]. I already get shoes for her at DSW, actually.”
The ‘Mindy Project’ star also cited Sandra Bullock – whom she starred alongside in ‘Ocean’s Eight’ – as her ultimate fashion icon because she likes how the 54-year-old actress is glamorous but relatable.
She said: “Sandra Bullock, for someone who is as approachable as she is in all her films, she’s always so relatable, and everything – I feel like people don’t give her enough props for how fashionable her red carpet game is.
“When I did ‘Ocean’s Eight’ with her I remember thinking, ‘She is great.’ Her looks for that press tour were stunning.
“She always looks so amazing, but because she doesn’t seem to put a huge amount of importance on it, I think people kind of forget about it. But I think she is very, very fashionable.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith is “finally friends” with his body, after recently revealing he had liposuction when he was just 12.
The 26-year-old singer revealed last month he had undergone the fat removal procedure – in which small areas of fat are sucked out of places such as the hips, thighs, and stomach – whilst he was still in school, because his weight was “affecting his mood every day”.
And in a new Instagram post uploaded on Monday (01.04.19), the ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ hitmaker admitted he’s finally started to love his body.
Posting a picture of himself shirtless, he wrote: “Feeling bloated and gross after my flight so thought I’d post a mirror selfie of my sexy bloated boobies coz we are friends. Finally (sic)”
The body confident post comes after Sam admitted he’s struggled with his weight since he was a child, and was even picked on at school for being “chubby”.
He said: “When I was a kid, I was chubby … and then it would get worse and worse and worse and I was holding a lot of weight in my chest. When I hit 11 years old, I went to the doctor’s. I was so self-conscious that it was affecting my mood every day.
“I had liposuction, I was 12 years old. At the time I think I was very happy about it. It didn’t really change anything. I think I put the weight back on in two weeks because I hadn’t figured out my relationship with food, so it didn’t really change anything. But being 12 years old and having liposuction on your chest is quite a big deal.”
And the ‘Stay with Me’ singer said at the time he still struggles with his body image, which he blames as “the basis” of all his “sadness”.
He added: “It’s the basis of all my sadness. Literally everything I’ve ever been sad about is my weight. I struggle with it every day. I get very, very dark and very sad.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Lucas secretly visited the ‘Game of Thrones’ set.
Liam Cunningham – who plays Davos Seaworth in the HBO fantasy series – explained that the ‘Star Wars’ creator came to their set in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during the filming of Season Eight to speak with showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, presumably regarding their forthcoming ‘Star Wars’ trilogy.
The 57-year-old actor went on to say the sci-fi franchise has been lacking “decent story telling” and thinks that the influence of Benioff and Weiss could “add a layer of complexity” to the film series.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Liam said: “It’s funny because George came here and talked to the boys, and the one thing the ‘Star Wars’ franchise has been missing lately is decent storytelling.
“There’s a lot of brilliant stuff in ‘Star Wars’, it’s an epic franchise, but occasionally, story-wise, it’s left a little to be desired. Dan and David are brilliant at surprises and can transfer the demographic from this show to that [franchise].
“They’re incredible at adapting a world and making it their own and they could add a layer of complexity to it.”
Last year, Disney – the company that acquired the rights to ‘Star Wars’ when it purchased Lucasfilm in October 2012 in a deal worth $4.05 billion – announced that both Benioff and Weiss will write and produce a new series of ‘Star Wars’ films following the end of ‘Game of Thrones’.
The new trio of movies are set to take place hundreds of years before the setting of the original series, meaning the story will be separate to the Skywalker saga which has been the focus of the other nine films.
