OHMYGOSSIP — Sofia Richie is “happy” keeping her relationship “private”.
The 20-year-old model – who is dating Scott Disick – doesn’t feel the need to use her social media accounts to “prove” her romance with the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star because she likes to lead a quiet life.
Appearing on the April 2019 cover of Tatler magazine, she said in the accompanying interview: “I think a lot of people think they have to prove their relationships through social media and I’m just happy being private about my relationship.
‘It’s not like I won’t post pictures about it, but I like having my little private life. I’m not a party girl and I really don’t like the paparazzi.”
The blonde beauty – who’s the daughter of Lionel Richie and his ex-wife Diane Alexander – also blasted claims that she is “spoilt” and admitted that she had a “tightened leash” compared to her two siblings, Nicole Richie, 37 and Miles Brockman Richie, 24, because she was the youngest.
She added: “When I say my dad was strict, he came from a Southern family and he still very much believes in the morals his parents instilled in him.
“I wasn’t one of those privileged, spoilt children. We had our blessings, but I was told if I wanted something I had to do it for myself.
“I feel like my parents got training on my first two siblings, so I got the tightened leash. I went through a good few years when I was 16 of trying to be tough, but it didn’t last. I thought I knew everything and then one day I was like, ‘Whatever, this is too tir­ing.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jussie Smollett’s scenes from the final episodes of ‘Empire’ have been cut.
The 36-year-old actor – who is being investigated over reports he orchestrated an alleged homophobic and racist attack on himself – will not be returning to set to shoot the final two episodes of the series as producers are keen to “avoid further disruption” so have simply written his character, Jamal Lyon, out of the finale.
Producers including Lee Daniels and Danny Strong said in a statement to The Blast: “The events of the past few weeks have been incredibly emotional for all of us. Jussie has been an important member of our ‘Empire’ family for the past five years and we care about him deeply.
“While these allegations are very disturbing, we are placing our trust in the legal system as the process plays out.
“We are also aware of the effects of this process on the cast and crew members who work on our show and to avoid further disruption on set, we have decided to remove the role of ‘Jamal’ from the final two episodes of the season.”
The statement comes not long after show chiefs admitted they were “evaluating” the situation and “considering” what to do next.
20th Century Fox Television and Fox Entertainment previously said in a statement to CNN: “We understand the seriousness of this matter and we respect the legal process. We are evaluating the situation and we are considering our options.”
Jussie appeared in court on Thursday (21.02.19), where he was ordered to pay a $10,000 bond and surrender his passport after being arrested on felony charges of filing a false police report and disorderly conduct.
After the hearing, he headed straight to the Cinespace Studio in Chicago where he became “very emotional” as he maintained his innocence in a speech to the cast and crew of the show.
He reportedly said: “I’m sorry I’ve put you all through this and not answered any calls. I wanted to say I’m sorry and, you know me, I would never do this to any of you, you are my family. I swear to God, I did not do this.”
Sources claimed producers told the actor to leave the set and return later as he had clearly been crying a lot, and so was unable to shoot his scene.
Jussie was later praised by his legal team as a “young man of impeccable character” in a statement that hit out at the way the investigation has been handled.
The lawyers said in a statement: “Today we witnessed an organised law enforcement spectacle that has no place in the American legal system.
“The presumption of innocence, a bedrock in the search for justice, was trampled upon at the expense of Mr. Smollett and notably, on the eve of a Mayoral election.
“Mr. Smollett is a young man of impeccable character and integrity who fiercely and solemnly maintains his innocence and feels betrayed by a system that apparently wants to skip due process and proceed directly to sentencing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alesha Dixon has revealed “everyone’s happy” to have Ant McPartlin back on the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ team.
The talent show host – who took a year out to focus on his sobriety after a drink driving conviction – returned to work on the show last month alongside Dec Donnelly, and the judge has revealed how upbeat the atmosphere is.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (22.02.19), she said: “We’ve worked together now for, I think, seven years and when we get together it is like a family vibe in the studio and it just feels good and it’s so great, and everyone’s happy and back to our naughty selves.”
The 40-year-old singer explained that there’s a very close bond between everyone working on the programme, which has been built up over the years.
She added: “There’s a lot of love and, I think, you ladies know the more you work with people, the more you build up relationships and care about each other as people – you’re not just doing your job, you care about each other’s wellbeing, it’s no different on our show.”
Last month, Ant was back in the mix for the upcoming new series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ as he joined Dec for the auditions.
In a tweet posted from the duo’s Twitter account – which featured a picture of them en route to the auditions at the London Palladium – they wrote: “#BGT 2019. Audition day 1. The boys are back in town! (sic)”
Ant is also expected to return to ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ at the end of the year, after being temporary replaced by Holly Willoughby.
At the ITV show’s after party, Dec praised Holly’s performance when he said: “There is nobody I would have preferred to stood next to.
“We were thrilled with the ratings, they are absolutely great. Holly has been fantastic too, just brilliant. She was the one I wanted and I am thrilled she did it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Offset says fatherhood is what was “missing” in his life.
The Migos rapper has seven-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari with his wife Cardi B, as well as three other children – Jordan, nine, and Kody and Kalea, both three – from previous relationships, and has said his life has felt more complete since becoming a father to his “beautiful and smart kids”.
Writing on Twitter on Thursday (21.02.19), Offset – who recently released his solo album, titled ‘Father of 4′ – said: “I am a FATHER OF 4
“The most beautiful and smart kids I could ask for. I want them to understand there dad for the good and the bad. The decisions I made was to feed I’m not a perfect FATHER BUT I AM A FATHER OF 4!
“Father hood was missing in my life and sometimes I have to be missing for work but it all come back to the little ones I’m setting them up for the future. I didn’t take the cleanest route to success I ran into walls and hurdles but I over came them I’m proud of me!!! (sic)”
His comments come after he recently revealed the material he wrote for the record made him “cry”, because it deals with his relationship with his brood.
The 27-year-old rapper said: “I cried to myself while I was doing this album ’cause I was talking about my story and my kids. When I did a song, I started getting memories of my grandma, my struggles, my partner that was killed, the thoughts I had while I was incarcerated, and my kids’ faces were there in my head. I love my kids, this is who I do it for.”
And Offset also opened up on his relationship with ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker Cardi, saying they were taking things “slowly” after temporarily splitting last year amid rumours he had tried to organise a threesome with two other women.
Speaking about their recent reconciliation, he said: “It’s been good. We’re being more open to each other, raising our baby and taking things slowly.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Danielle Jonas has slammed critics for trying to stir drama between her and Priyanka Chopra.
The 32-year-old television personality – who is married to former Jonas Brother Kevin Jonas – has insisted there’s no bad blood between herself and new sister-in-law Priyanka, who married Kevin’s younger brother Nick Jonas last year, after some critics claimed her recent Instagram post “shaded” the ‘Quantico’ star.
In the post, Danielle wished actress Sophie Turner – who is engaged to middle brother Joe Jonas – a happy birthday and said her children “can’t get enough” of the ‘Game of Thrones’ star, which some fans took as a way of saying she preferred Sophie over Priyanka.
Her Instagram caption read: “Happy birthday @sophiet!! My girls and I are so blessed to have you in our lives, they can’t get enough of their aunt sophie. You deserve the world and I hope you’re having an amazing birthday! Love you. (sic)”
But when fans flooded to the comments to point out the “low-key shade” in the post, Danielle hit back, insisting Priyanka is “lovely”.
She replied in the comments: “Nope, no shade about Priyanka. It’s just Sophie’s birthday so I wanted to say happy birthday. I think everyone should stop with thinking that we don’t like Priyanka she is lovely. I am so over people trying to make a problem.”
Danielle was in attendance at the 36-year-old actress’ bridal shower at Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe in New York in late October, just over a month before she tied the knot with Nick in two separate ceremonies – one Hindi and one Christian – in India in early December.
The former hairdresser has been married to Kevin Jonas for almost a decade after they tied the knot in December 2009, and the couple have two daughters – Alena, five, and Valentina, two – together.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella feels “grateful” to have former fiancé John Cena in her life.
The 35-year-old professional wrestler split with fellow WWE star John just weeks before they were due to get married in Spring last year, and has said that despite their split, they’ve remained on good terms and insisted he’s been an “amazing” support system to her.
She said: “We’re good … as good as being apart can be. I’ve always been grateful to have John in my life and to have a man like that. He’s an amazing man. And even through such a hard breakup, he has been truly so amazing.”
But the ‘Total Bellas’ star doesn’t see herself getting back together with the ‘Blockers’ actor any time soon, as she’s still “having fun” with her dating life, including her recent dates with the likes of her former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ partner Artem Chigvintsev.
She told Us Weekly magazine: “I’m dating, having fun. [Artem] is one of the people that I like to have fun with. He’s a good friend.”
Her comments come after she previously spoke about enjoying “different experiences” when it comes to her dating life, as she insisted she hasn’t been looking for anything “serious” just yet.
She said: “I’m having a lot of fun in my dating life. And I’m just kind of having fun just kind of … I don’t want to say playing the field but just kind of having different experiences.
“I’m not looking to be serious with anyone right now. I’m just looking to have fun. So I’m just in a fortunate position that I get to go on these dates with a lot of amazing guys. I mean, not a lot. It’s only been a few.”
Meanwhile, Nikki might not be single for long, as she recently confessed she’d like to keep seeing former ‘Bachelorette’ contestant Peter Kraus, after they enjoyed “one date” – which was filmed for ‘Total Bellas’ – together back in October.
She said: “It’s just been one date so far. It was in the fall and he was so sweet. One, he’s so handsome – even Brie’s husband [Daniel Bryan] was freaking out for him. OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian won’t cut Tristan Thompson out of daughter’s life.
The NBA star has been accused of cheating on Khloe with Jordyn Woods, the best friend of Khloe’s half-sister Kylie Jenner, but despite their romance being on the rocks, sources say she won’t be restricting his access to their 10-month-old daughter True, because she isn’t the kind of person who would “seek revenge”.
An insider told People magazine: “She’s very good at compartmentalising and at the end of the day, she wants True to have a happy relationship with both of her parents. She’s not one to seek revenge or hold onto negativity.”
The comments come after it was recently claimed the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has realised she “deserves better” from her partner, after previously forgiving Tristan when he was unfaithful to her just days before the birth of their daughter.
A separate source said: “Khloé is doing okay. She’s still upset about what happened and talks about it a lot. But it really seems she is able to see what everyone else has been seeing for so long – that she was always too good for Tristan. She deserves so much better.”
And the 34-year-old star reportedly feels as though she “did everything she could” to keep their relationship intact, but now realises they are “100 percent over”.
The insider added: “It’s amazing that she for so long was trying to keep her family together for True. It’s been very challenging for her. But in the end, now that they are 100 percent over, Khloé feels like she did everything she could to be in a relationship with Tristan. Clearly, he doesn’t care about his relationship with her.”
Now, Khloe is trying to create a “loving healthy home” for her daughter.
A second source said: “She was deeply hurt by him [the first time] and basically kept him at arm’s length. The only reason she was still seeing him was because of True. The fact that her family is breaking apart is a nightmare for her, but it’s been a long time coming. They’ve been living separate lives.
“She can’t trust Tristan, and she’s known that for a long time. She’s been focused on her daughter and creating a loving healthy home for her. She doesn’t deserve this and she knows it.”

The 60-year-old actress has hit out at her fellow Hollywood stars who often turn down chance to speak to reporters unless they have a new movie coming out, as she says she is “proud” to be someone who welcomes the press into her life.
Speaking as she picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Publicists Awards Luncheon on Friday (22.02.19), the ‘Halloween’ star said: “I believe in the freedom of the press. I believe that you have the right to ask me whatever question you want to ask me … And it is a dance that we have been doing for a very long time. We figure it out, we dance together and it is a mutually beneficial dance because this is show business – this is show-off business. But it is a business, and it is art and commerce coming together and it is a partnership … Anyone who pretends like they disdain that portion of it is full of s**t!
“[Some stars] ‘don’t do press.’ They don’t talk to the press. Until they have a movie coming out … they are fraudulent! They are fraudulent. The truth is this is the f***ing game – this is how it’s played and I am proud to play it with you.”
Jamie also added that her upbringing with movie star parents Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis taught her how to act in front of reporters, because she spent her childhood “watching them play the game.”
During her speech, Jamie teased she would be working with ‘Halloween’ producer Jason Blum on more projects in the “not-so-distant future”, as he presented her with her prize.
She said: “I am grateful to you and I am looking forward to making a couple more with you – in the not-so-distant future.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Schumer is suffering from “complications from hyperemesis” during the third trimester of her pregnancy.
The 37-year-old actress and comedian has been forced to cancel the remainder of her comedy tour after struggling with the condition – which is characterised as a severe form of morning sickness – during the final months of her pregnancy.
Amy – who is expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer – wrote on Instagram: “Due to complications from hyperemesis I am not cleared to fly for the next couple weeks. I am going to cancel the remainder of my tour. Refunds are available at point of purchase.”
The ‘Trainwreck’ star went on to assure her fans that both she and her impending arrival are “healthy”, but she couldn’t risk flying and performing on stage when she needs to put the wellbeing of herself and her tot first.
She continued: “The baby and I are healthy and everything looks good. But I am in my third trimester and I am still nauseous all the time and vomiting. I vomit mostly every time i ride in a car even for 5 minutes. I have a pretty good attitude about it and some days I feel good for a couple hours. But mostly it’s sucks. I wanted to push through and do my shows. Because I hate letting people down and I love stand up and money! But more than that I have to think about my health and the baby. I know you guys get it and people are like. B***ch are you ok? Take it easy but it’s still embarrassing to have to cancel. (sic)”
Amy revealed her pregnancy in an unconventional way back in October, when she had her friend Jessica Yellin list the words “I’m pregnant – Amy Schumer” on a list of her candidate recommendations for voters in the US midterm elections.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jussie Smollett is facing suspension from ‘Empire’ after being charged with filing a false police report.
The 36-year-old star had claimed he was the victim of a shocking assault in Chicago last month but doubt was cast over the attack and he has now been charged with a felony offence, so producers on the musical drama are said to be considering his future on the showu.
Sources told Variety that show chiefs are currently deciding whether to suspend him from the programme but there are currently no plans to change the show’s shooting schedule.
Jussie is scheduled to appear on set on Thursday (21.02.19), but is also due to appear in court for a bond hearing over the new charge.
Even if the actor does get suspended, sources told the website he is still expected to finish work on the series.
20th Century Fox Television and Fox Entertainment previously denied the star will be written out of his role as Jamal Lyon entirely.
They said in a statement before he was charged: “Jussie Smollett continues to be a consummate professional on set and as we have previously stated, he is not being written out of the show.”
And executive producer Danny Strong denied rumours last week that the actor was set to leave the show.
He tweeted: “There is 0% truth that @JussieSmollett was going to be written off of Empire. This rumor is totally false. He is the third lead and one of the most beloved characters on the show. Writing him off the show has NEVER even been discussed.”
Jussie could face up to three years in prison if he is found guilty, but his lawyers have vowed to “mount an aggressive defence” against the charge.
Attorneys Todd Pugh and Victor Henderson said in a statement: “Like any other citizen, Mr. Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked.
“Given these circumstances, we intend to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount and aggressive defense.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Courteney Cox “didn’t know” celebrities were “supposed to be private”.
The former ‘Friends’ star – who has 14-year-old daughter Coco with ex-husband David Arquette – has spoken openly about her struggles with fertility, including multiple miscarriages and IVF treatments and admitted she never considered keeping the subject hidden and only hopes she can offer “wisdom or hope” to other women.
She said: “No one ever taught me that lesson. I didn’t know you were supposed to be private. I just don’t think like that.
“If I can share any light or give any wisdom to somebody or hope, I would share anything I can. In the end, I think that’s important.”
Courtney has been working on a new Facebook Watch docuseries, ‘9 Months with Courteney Cox’ – and admitted she found the “intimate” 20-episode programme very emotional because it is so “raw and real”.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “There is not an episode that I don’t cry. It’s a story about 10 different couples that are taking us through the journey of their pregnancy and you deal with everything from cancer to alcoholism, I mean you name it.
“Whether you can keep the baby, whether you should keep the baby, whether you wanted to get pregnant… you [get] this intimate look that’s not sensationalised.”
The 54-year-old star – who is executive producer as well as narrator and host of the show – is fascinated by “human stories” and thinks the programme has something important to say.
She said: “The story of life before birth is so interesting, and I love human stories. I just love things that are real and I think, with this particular show, people can relate to every part of it or any part of it.
“I think the stories are important to tell just because you wanna know that you’re not alone and it gives people hope. So it kind of brings people together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chiwetel Ejiofor is “quietly confident” the ‘Lion King’ reboot is going to be “special”.
The 41-year-old actor admits it feels “amazing” to be part of the upcoming Disney remake in which he voices villainous lion Scar and it features an all-star cast that includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé voicing Nala, Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa and John Oliver as Zazu.
Chiwetel is aware of just how much people love the original 1994 animation but is sure film fans will also love this new version, which is being directed by Jon Favreau.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’, he said: “It’s amazing to be part of ‘The Lion King’. So exciting. It was an incredible part of my childhood and for my generation still is a big deal and will be for a whole new generation, it’s a new way of telling these stories. I’m quietly confident it’s going to be special.”
The ’12 Years a Slave’ actor has also been cast in another Disney film, ‘Maleficent II’, in which he will reunite with his ‘Salt’ co-star Angelina Jolie, who is reprising her role as the titular dark fairy from the 2014 ‘Sleeping Beauty’ re-imagination.
The sequel will pick up several years after ‘Maleficent’ and audiences will learn of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora.
Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville will all reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel, while Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein and Harris Dickinson are set to join the cast alongside the ‘Doctor Strange’ actor.
Speaking of the film, Chiwetel said: “It was great to work with Angelina then and I was really thrilled to join ‘Maleficent’. The re-imagining of fairy tales and how they impact us and what they mean for us is really strong and I think this sort of expands this whole universe.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Clunes admits to being put off sitcoms after his series ‘Reggie Perrin’ flopped.
The 57-year-old actor played the titular character in the programme – which was a remake of 1970s BBC show ‘The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin’ and starred Leonard Rossiter – and the poor response to it put him off comedy for a long time.
However, he admits he loved the script for his upcoming new series ‘Warren’ so much he decided he couldn’t pass on the opportunity to appear in another sitcom.
Martin told TV Times magazine: “I didn’t want to do another half-hour comedy, but this was so funny, I didn’t want anyone else to do it. I didn’t want anyone else to do it. The script was sent to me by my friend Jimmy Mulville, who runs the production company. I’ve known him 30 years. We did a play together and stayed in touch, so I knew it was going to be good.
“I did Reggie Perrin, which I really enjoyed, but it didn’t go down well and the BBC dropped it, so I thought maybe that’s enough. Then ‘Warren ‘ came along and there just wasn’t a good enough reason to say no.”
In the original ‘Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin’, Rossiter’s titular character goes through a mid-life crisis and fakes his own death, returning to his new life in disguise to find that nothing has changed.
In the update, Martin played a successful executive at Groomtech who was not happy with his working life and fantasised about his colleague, Jasmine, to keep himself amused.
Martin portrays driving instructor Warren Thompson who moves to Preston in his next project and he admits his character was “joyous” to play because he’s so awful.
When asked how he would describe Warren, the former ‘Men Behaving Badly’ star replied: “Self-satisfied, completely without conscience, short-sighted and awful! But he’s joyous to play.”
‘Warren’ begins on BBC One on Monday 25 February at 9pm.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Gest snuck a mobile phone into the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house by hiding it in his bum, his friend Lizzie Cundy has claimed.
Lizzie has claimed the late television personality managed to break the rules and get a phone into the house by putting it “in a place where the sun doesn’t shine” and has said that her pal would often text her when he first arrived in ‘CBB’ house, however, he wasn’t able to carry on communicating for the duration of his time on the Channel 5 show as there wasn’t enough space for him to bring in the charger.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, the 49-year-old radio host said: “He was saying, ‘I don’t wanna do it last minute, I’m not going in.’ So I actually went with him to the Big Brother house to make sure he finally went in.
“Anyway, that night it’s the early hours of the morning I’m getting these pings on my phone, it’s David Gest. I’m like ‘You’re not supposed to have your phone in that house you know, you’re not allowed anything.’ And he’s like, ‘Help get me out, I don’t like anyone in here they’re all idiots!’ I was like, ‘Oh no,’ he was like, ‘You’ve gotta get me out of here!’ And I thought, ‘God what can I do?’
“And then suddenly the texts stopped and I thought he must be happy but when he came out he said, ‘No I’ve hidden my phone in a place where the sun doesn’t shine, but I forgot to take the charger there was no room for it.’ ”
Music producer Gest – the and ex-husband of Liza Minnelli – left the house after 13 days during his stint on the show in 2016 due to ill health.
He tragically passed away just months later in April 2016 due to a stroke at the age of 62.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Atkinson has thanked her boyfriend Gorka Marquez for making her feel like “the most beautiful woman in the room” at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday night (20.02.19).
The pregnant former ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘Emmerdale’ star – who started dating Gorka after she appeared on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2017 -thanked her partner for giving her confidence to walk the red carpet and show off her baby bump at the event at The O2 in London.
Sharing a picture of the pair on the red carpet, she said: “Once again @gorka_marquez makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the room (despite hours early watching me scoff Mac N Cheese with a side of chips in my pjs like a true mess) Great night at The Brits and always a Great night with Gorks (sic)”
The 34-year-old actress announced earlier this year that she and Gorka are having their first child, and the former glamour model shared another picture, showing off her baby bump and thanking her style team.
She wrote: “Baby’s first concert! Always a fun night at The Brits! Thank you so much to @sulkydollstyling for my dress and heels from @baukjen and @lucychoilondon (sic)”
Gemma shared her pregnancy “excitement” with all her followers by posting a picture of the couple’s two dogs, Norm and Ollie, who were wearing signs around their neck which read: “Guess what … mum’s pregnant. We’re going to be big brothers!”
Gemma captioned the post: “And what Amazing big brothers they will be! Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year. Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already @gorka_marquez (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Poehler is directing feminist revolution film ‘Moxie’ for Netflix.
The 47-year-old actress-and-comedian is set to helm the adaptation of Jennifer Mathieu’s novel of the same name for the streaming service, which Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions acquired last year.
‘Moxie’ will center on a 16-year-old girl from a small American town who starts a feminist revolution at her high school after becoming inspired by her mother’s past experience as part of the underground punk movement Riot Grrrl.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star will produce through her Paper Kite banner along with Veep’s Morgan Sackett and Paper Kite development director Kim Lessing.
Amy worked with Kim on the sitcom ‘Parks and Recreation’ and on ‘Wine Country’ for the streaming service which marked the star’s directional debut.
Upcoming movie ‘Wine Country’ has a female-led cast which includes Tina Fey and Maya Rudolph – both of whom Poehler last worked with on 2015 comedy ‘Sisters’.
Each cast member also has something else in common, as they’ve all worked on American comedy sketch show ‘Saturday Night Live’ at some point during their careers.
The comedy film follows a group of friends as they head to Napa, California to celebrate a 50th birthday, and is being produced by Poehler’s own Paper Kite Productions.
Netflix wrote on Twitter: “It’s happening – Amy Poehler’s directorial debut, Wine Country, is coming soon to Netflix! Starring Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph, Emily Spivey and featuring Tina Fey. Get excited. Get real excited.”

Poehler and Paper Kite are also behind the recent Netflix hit ‘Russian Doll’ and the upcoming second season of ‘Making It’ – co-hosted by Pohler – on NBC.
