OHMYGOSSIP — Brian McFadden has left ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The Westlife singer narrowly missed out on a place in the final of the skating competition as a tumble during his dance to ‘Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me’ in the skate off sealed his fate, just one week before the show’s final.
After assuring the viewers at home that both him and his skating partner Alex Murphy were ok after their fall, he added: “I’ve had such a fun time.”
All four of the judges – Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – opted to save Saara Aalto and Hamish Gaman.
Jason said: “Two valiant skate offs might I add. Two incredible committed celebrities that have come on here and been hardworking. It pains me to say it – had you not have fallen Brian, this would have been a very different outcome. The person I’m saving is Saara and Hamish.”
Whilst Ashley added: “Brian don’t beat yourself up too much though. That’s what happens and that’s the reality of the competition. It’s tough.
“So well done for getting this far. But I think we have to judge on what we see in the skate off and before the fall, it wasn’t a foregone conclusion. But based on what I saw, I have to save Saara and Hamish.”
Chris opted to save Saara, telling hosts Philip Scholfield and Holly Willoughby: “I want to save both. I would like to see both in the final but unfortunately we can’t. So based on the performance in the skate off, tonight I’m saving Saara and Hamish.”
Jayne also said she would have voted for Saara and Hamish.
Elsewhere in the show, James Jordan managed a perfect score of 40 – twice.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional wowed with a sweet skate to James Bay’s ‘Hold Back The River’ before a high-energetic lift-filled performance to ‘Do You Love Me’ from ‘Dirty Dancing’, the song that inspired James to start dancing.
‘Dancing On Ice’ returns for the final next Sunday (10.03.19), where James will go head to head with Saara and Wes Nelson to win the coveted trophy.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Jonas thinks him and his brothers had their “biggest year of growth” in 2018.
The ‘Jealous’ hitmaker feels he and his brothers Kevin and Joe – with whom he has reunited musically to bring back the Jonas Brothers – have seen a huge change in the last 12 months, which included Nick getting married to Priyanka Chopra.
Speaking on Australian radio show Smallzy’s Surgery on Nova 969, Nick said: “Australia was actually a big piece of the puzzle because at that point, we had been filming a documentary for about two or three months and really just starting to unpack everything. For us, it goes back a lot further just ’cause the way things ended back in 2012, 2013 was really complicated, both as family and as Brothers. So it took some time to get into it all and like I said, unpack it. Kevin surprised Joe and I by showing up, which was a big thing in our conversations, just the transparency of saying, you know, your willingness, Kevin, to get on a plane and go wherever we might need to go in this new chapter, given that you’ve got a family. Cut to a month and a half, two months later. At that point, I was engaged, so it was sort of like our realities were colliding and shifting. It’s just been insane, and I think the biggest year of growth for us as brothers and as a band.”
Meanwhile, the relationship between The Jonas Brothers was so bad after their 2013 split that they never thought they would reconcile.
Speaking after their surprise reunion this week and release of new single ‘Sucker’, he said: “When it ended it was not good. It was a couple years of rebuilding our family, and in our mind it seemed impossible for us to do this ever again.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stevie Nicks thinks of Prince every time she heads on stage.
The Fleetwood Mac star thinks it is tragic that she never got to perform with the ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker – who passed away in April 2016 at the age of 57 – but she always pays homage to him before she goes out to perform.
She said: “The saddest thing of all is Prince and I never played that song onstage together. And that just breaks my heart. I guess we all think we’re immortal – I always thought we had plenty of time. I should have told Prince 10 years ago or 15 years ago, ‘Hey, Prince, we should do this song onstage together – some night, some city, call me.’ But you know, I feel like Prince is with me. When I’m nervous, I’ll talk to Prince. In my solo act, when I do ‘Moonlight’, I wear this white wolfy coat – I put this coat on and I try to transform into a Dire Wolf from ‘Game of Thrones’. And before I go on, I always say, ‘Walk with me, Prince.'”
And Stevie has no plans to stop performing live and making more music.
She added to Rolling Stone magazine: “At the ripe and totally young age of 70, my voice hasn’t changed. As long as I take care of myself, I am still going to be doing this when I’m 80. There’s so many things I want to do.
“I want to do another record. I want to make a mini-series. If the coven reforms, I want to go back to American Horror Story. I tell myself, ‘Do it now, because you’re spry, you’re in good shape, you can still do the splits, you can still dance onstage and wear a short skirt and high six-inch heels.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Solange’s new album ‘When I Get Home’ expresses “things that were happening to [her] spirit”.
The 32-year-old singer/songwriter recently dropped her highly-anitciapted follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2016 LP ‘A Seat at the Table’ and spoke about it at an album event she hosted in her home city of Houston, Texas.
Speaking at the talk, which was live streamed by Apple Music and on her BlackPlanet website, Solange – who is the younger sister of Beyonce – said: “I think after touring the last record, there were a lot of things that were happening to my spirit – things that feel sort of out of control.”
Solange – who worked with the likes of Pharrell and collaborated with musicians including Sampha, Playboi Carti, Gucci Mane, Tyler, the Creator, Metro Boomin and Dev Hynes on the record – explained that her last album was her getting out all of the things she wanted to “say” but this time it was about how she was feeling, which she channelled into the sound of the songs more so than the lyrics.
She said: “Obviously with ‘A Seat at the Table’ I had so much to say.
“With this album I had so much to feel. Words would have been reductive to what I needed to feel and express. It’s in the sonics for me.”
Solange – who won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance for ‘Cranes in the Sky’ from ‘A Seat at the Table’ – also revealed that she rented a property in Houston to work on the album in seclusion.
Part of the record sees Solange discuss what it’s like to be a black cowboy and she said their story is something she can relate to.
She said: “I knew about a year and a half ago, it would be really really important to me to tell a story about black cowboys.
“I feel so privileged to meet so many of these cowboys and hear their stories and see them pray before they go in the bull ring and see what they’re willing to do to their bodies for the sake of entertainment, which is something I can relate to.”
The ‘Losing You’ hitmaker also emphasised how important it was that she produced the record herself as a woman.
She said: “Speaking my truth, it is rather difficult as a producer to be reduced to just the songwriter or just the artist when you spend 18 hours editing one drum sound.
“We’ve come a long way from that for women, but it’s still got a little way to go – the way we’re able to have that conversation about Rick Rubin but we’re not extending that conversation to others.”

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star is said to be “livid” for her sister after it was revealed that her partner Tristan Thompson cheated with Jordyn Woods.
A source told People magazine: “Kim is the one who is really upset about this. She’s livid. She’s so angry, and she’s 100 percent on Khloé’s side. She’s there for Khloé, letting her vent and talk about it. They’ve been in constant contact, and Kim is totally supportive. Guys may come and go, but the bond between the girls is never going away, and they’re committed to supporting each other.”
Kim had treated Khloe to a weekend away after the Tristan drama, with the siblings heading to Palm Springs as Khloe processed what had happened.
An insider shared: “Kim took Khloé to Palm Springs one night before the weekend so she could have a relaxing getaway. She’s doing okay … Her family continues to support her. Everyone is trying to cheer her up and be around to help. They all still talk a lot about what happened. Their opinion hasn’t changed – what happened between Tristan and Jordyn is inexcusable.”
Khloe had recently taken to social media to blame the cheating scandal on Tristan after previously blaming Jordyn.

OHMYGOSSIP — Patrick J. Adams thinks Meghan Markle’s new baby will be the “greatest thing” that will ever happen to her.
The ‘Suits’ star – who appeared on the US television show alongside Meghan – is “super happy” that his friend is expecting a baby with Prince Harry and knows this will be an amazing chapter in her life.
He shared to Entertainment Tonight: “Meghan, I’m super happy for you. It’s the greatest thing that will ever happen to you, having a baby, so we hope everybody’s happy and healthy.”
And Patrick joked he’d love for his and his wife Troian Bellisario’s baby girl to have playdates with the new royal baby. However, he thought it would be better to hold them at her house, because “it’s a little bigger”.
Duchess Meghan is due to give birth in April.
Kim Thompson, who spoke with Meghan during the visit to Birkenhead in January, she said: “She said she is six months pregnant and due at the end of April, beginning of May. Another woman in the crowd joked that she was a trained midwife.
“Meghan said that one of her friends had [given birth] five weeks early and [the midwife] said the baby comes when they are ready. I said, as long as they are healthy, and Meghan agreed. Then she said, pointing to Harry, ‘He’s going to make a fantastic father.’ Harry was asking a mum how she spelled her daughter’s name – Lily.”

The ‘Man of the Woods’ hitmaker feels so lucky to be married to the “most wonderful human” and he had a sweet message for her as she marked her 37th birthday on March 3.
Posting a sweet compilation of pictures of the couple together, he wrote on his official Instagram page: “My partner in this thang called life… you are the most wonderful human I have ever met. You make me smile, laugh, and love life more than I knew I could. I cherish every moment with you and can’t wait to spend so many more years doing the same… but, new. The ‘Never Be The Same’ hitmaker – who is dating Matthew Hussey – admits there is nothing quite better than finding that special someone to share life with.
She said: “No feeling compares to falling in love. It makes sense – all the movies, the stories, the songs. It is the most intoxicating, consuming feeling that exists. Even when other things are just as important, I don’t think any feeling compares to the intensity of it. Life is too short to hang out with people you don’t like, be in relationships with people that don’t make you happy, or do things you hate. I think fear is actually an important feeling. You should be afraid of wasting time.”
Camila’s comments were part of a list of 22 things she has learned in the past year as she marked her 22nd birthday on March 3.
She added: “In most situations you’ll realise, ‘Nothing is good or bad. Only thinking makes it so.’ Look for the bad in the situation and you’ll find it, look for the good in the same situation and you’ll also find it. The 46-year-old actress – who has two children, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with her former spouse – joined the likes of the Coldplay frontman’s girlfriend Dakota Johnson and her mother Melanie Griffith, Julia Roberts and Sean Penn at his Malibu mansion for a celebration of his 42nd birthday on Saturday (02.03.19).
The Goop founder – who is now married to producer Brad Falchuk – took to Instagram to share a selfie with the ‘Yellow’ hitmaker with standing by a door with the number 42 painted on it, and gushed that “we love you so much”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Elisabeth Moss is reportedly in talks for the lead role in ‘The Invisible Man’ reboot.
‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ actress is said to the frontrunner for an unknown part in the remake of Universal’s 1950s sci-fi blockbuster, which is based on the novel by H. G. Wells.
In the original, the titular character’s love interest Flora Cranley was portrayed by Gloria Stuart – who is best known for portraying old Rose in ‘Titanic’.
Details of the project are being kept under wraps for the time being.
Leigh Whannell – who helmed ‘Upgrade’ and ‘Saw’ – is helming the project.
Johnny Depp was originally attached to the lead part, but the movie is pushing forward without the 55-year-old star’s involvement.
The film has suffered from major setbacks after Ed Solomon stepped down from writing the reboot last year.
Alex Kurtzman – who started ‘The Dark Universe’ – admitted he was unsure what the future holds.
And then, Solomon – who penned ‘Men in Black’ and ‘Now You See Me’ – revealed that he stepped away from the film, due to Depp starring in the main role, after conflicting ideas with the studio.
He said previously: “At the end of the day, I think Universal and I had a different idea of what the movie was gonna be. We began thinking that our notions would meld, and I should’ve listened more closely to what they really were wanting. I think Universal has had to come to a kind of reckoning of, ‘What are we doing with the Dark Universe?’ And, ‘What is our real intention with it?’ And I thinking they’re re-configuring it now, which I think is probably good. So I’m not working on it.”
Universal Studios made its name with the Universal Monsters movies which began in the 1920s with Lon Chaney’s ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ and ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ and the creature features continued to be popular with audiences for the next three decades with ‘Dracula’, ‘Frankenstein’, ‘The Mummy’, ‘The Wolf Man’ and ‘Creature from the Black Lagoon’ all being major hits whilst making household names of Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr. and Boris Karloff.
The Dark Universe was due to continue with a ‘Bride of Frankenstein’ remake with Angelina Jolie in the title role but that project was put on hold after Kurtzman – who helmed and co-wrote the Tom Cruise led 2017 reboot of ‘The Mummy’, which was the starting point for the connected series of movies – and co-producer Chris Morgan stepped away from the entire multiverse.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck is “excited” to see someone else portray Batman.
The 46-year-old actor stepped down from directing the movie about the Caped Crusader and starring in the lead role but is looking forward to how its new director Matt Reeves tells the next chapter of Batman’s story.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said; “I tried to direct a version of it and worked with a really good screenwriter, but just couldn’t come up with a version, I couldn’t crack it. So I thought it was time to let someone else take a shot at it. They got some really good people so I’m excited.”
Ben confirmed he had stepped down from the role in a tweet posted earlier this year, writing at the time: “Excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see @MattReevesLA vision come to life. (sic)”
Ben had decided to step down from his role behind the camera in 2017 but had insisted at the time that giving up directing didn’t mean he wouldn’t be playing the character either.
He previously said: “Let me be clear. I’m the luckiest guy. Batman is the coolest f***ing part in any universe, DC, Marvel. I am so thrilled to do it. I know there’s this misconception that because I’m not directing it, that maybe I wasn’t enthusiastic about it. It’s f**king amazing! I still can’t believe it after two films. Kevin Tsujihara, Sue Kroll and Toby Emmerich said to me, ‘We want you to be our Batman. Matt Reeves, doing it, I would be an ape on the ground for Matt Reeves, never mind be Batman. It’s incredible! I’m really blown away and excited. It’s a great time in the DC universe … and you can see why I am so excited to play Batman.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh quit ‘Coronation Street’ to spend time with her soon-to-be-born grandson.
The 42-year-old actress confirmed last month she is to depart the ITV soap after 13 years on the show, and is looking forward to spending quality time with her daughter Emilie Cunliffe’s impending arrival, but has ruled out appearing in reality TV shows.
Kym – who plays Michelle Connor on ‘Corrie’ – said: “I’ve loved every minute of working there and I’ve made some great friends at work but now feels like the right time for me to take a break and spread my wings.
“There were reports that I was going to appear in the next series of Strictly or I’m A Celeb … as wonderful as those shows are, I’m not leaving Corrie after thirteen years to do reality TV.
“Another big factor in my decision to take a break from Corrie is the impending arrival of my grandson.
“I’m looking forward to having more time to spend with him and Emilie after he’s born this summer.”
While Kym doesn’t look likely to be strutting her stuff on the ‘Strictly’ dancefloor anytime soon, she is “really excited” about the future.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: “Other actresses from the show have gone on to do other incredible acting work, so who knows.
“It’s scary but I’m also really excited about what the future holds.”
The former Hear’Say singer admitted it was an “incredibly difficult” decision to quit the cobbles, but she is looking forward to exploring other acting roles.
She recently said: “When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I’d be here 13 years later.
“It’s been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time for me to explore some other roles.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James ‘Arg’ Argent is “ashamed” that he fat-shamed his ex Gemma Collins.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star sent a series of cruel texts to his former girlfriend – including one that said she “had more rolls than Greggs” – after a huge row that led to the pair breaking up but he completely regrets what he said.
He said: “I’m ashamed of what I said to Gemma – I love her with all my heart. I have problems with my own weight so I’m the last person who should be trying to fat shame. It’s a bit pot, kettle, black as Gemma lost two stone doing ‘Dancing on Ice’ so I actually weigh more than she does now.”
The 31-year-old television personality revealed how Gemma had organised for all his possessions to be returned to his mum and dad’s house after the row.
He added: “I had to go to work so I went out for a few hours and decided to head home afterwards to try and make up with her. By the time I got back she’d organised a removal van to take all my clothes and my Vesper back to my mum and dad’s. I tried to talk to her but she was so angry that she wasn’t having any of it, she told me it was over and kicked me out.”
James would love to get back together with Gemma and would be up for undergoing some “couples counselling” if it could help them reconnect.
He told OK! magazine: “We haven’t spoken about it but I think it would be good for us to have some couples counselling if we do get back together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Willis swiped the golden cock from the ‘Big Brother’ house.
The 42-year-old TV presenter – who has children Ace, seven, Trixie, two, and Isabelle, nine, with husband Matt Willis – has confessed to pinching a number of animal figurines from the famous abode, which was demolished in November after the show was axed, including the cockerel which now sits outside her house.
She told OK! Magazine: “I went on a right robbing spree.
“There were lots of animals around the ‘Big Brother’ house: we’ve got a couple of little squirrels in our kitchen and the gold three wise monkeys as well.”
The mother-of-three also has “the badger behind the sofa in the living room”.
Meanwhile, Emma recently admitted that January was a “weird” start to the year without ‘Big Brother’.
The former model was left devastated by the show being cancelled after hosting both the celebrity and civilian series since 2013, and admitted that she was left feeling off-balance last month.
She said: “January has been weird if I’m being honest. When Big Brother finished, everybody was really sad.
“But I think all of us thought it would be nice to have a bit of time in January and not have New Year happen and suddenly you are back into it. But if I am honest I have really missed it.
“It has been lovely to have an extended amount of time at home with the kids but I am someone that likes to keep busy. I miss it. I really, really do.”
Emma previously explained that she was informed of the show being dropped just hours before the new series began and insisted it was impossible to “not feel sad”.
She said: “How am I meant not to feel sad, walking out and trying to host a show I love, knowing that it’s done?
“They could’ve done it a week before so that we all had time to take it in, or a week after so it could bed in.”
Both Emma and ‘Big Brother’s Bit On the Side’ host Rylan Clark-Neal have expressed how much they would love the Channel 5 show to be picked up by another channel.
Last month, voiceover Marcus Bentley gave the biggest indication that the show could be coming back.
The 51-year-old television personality got fans of the reality television show excited about a possible return after sharing a throwback video from the recording studio.
He captioned the video: “Narrating Big Brother – We will be back! #bigbrotheruk #voiceovers #voiceover (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ricky Gervais would “fall apart” without Jane Fallon.
The 57-year-old actor plays a man trying to cope with the loss of his wife in his new show ‘After Life’ and admits it made him think what he would do without his partner Jane in his life.
Speaking on Series Linked TV podcast, he said: “Jane went to Brighton once to visit her mum, and the boiler went and I didn’t know how to do it, so I was on the couch under a blanket with the cat listening to internet radio for two nights, because I couldn’t get the telly working and it was like, honestly, it was like ‘Castaway’. And then when she went away, next time, she left me instructions. She drew a picture of the remotes and what they all did, and I still had to FaceTime her. So I would fall apart without her. I mean, emotionally first. I don’t know how I’d cope with it. You don’t know, do you?”
Ricky and Jane have been together for 36 years but they don’t have any plans to tie the knot or have children.
He shared: “I don’t think there’s any point to us getting married. We don’t want any more toasters and we never want our families to meet – that would be terrible … There are loads of reasons why I don’t have kids. The world is overpopulated; no one’s sitting around going, ‘Oh Rick’s not going to have kids, we’re going to run out.”
Ricky had previously insisted the couple lead a “very normal life” and generally manage to avoid too many crazed fans.
He said: “I live a very normal life … I live in Hampstead, and on the Upper East Side in New York, and in Beverly Hills when I’m in LA, where they see plenty of famous people. If I land in the sticks then it’s probably a bit more hairy. I’d feel vulnerable [on the Tube], but I never liked it anyway.”
