Rylan Clark-Neal fuels Supermarket Sweep speculation

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark-Neal has added further fuel to speculation he is to present ‘Supermarket Sweep’.
The former ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ host would love to front the programme, and while he is still unsure whether the classic game show – which was hosted by Dale Winton to from 1993 to 2001 – is being rebooted, he has confirmed talks have taken place.
When asked on ‘The One Show’ if the programme is making a comeback, he replied: “I don’t actually know.
“I know there’s been a discussion about it. Of course, I’d love to do it!
“It’s iconic, ‘Supermarket Sweep’.”
Rylan recently joked about the rumours on ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’, and posted a picture on his Twitter account which appeared to feature a flyer showing him as the new host of the show, a new logo, as well as a tease about the rebooted programme.
It read: “It’s time to go wild in the aisles once more as the classic Supermarket Sweep returns bigger, funnier, and wilder than ever before!”
Rylan could have more free time on his hands after hosting his final edition of ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ on Monday night (05.11.18) following Channel 5’s decision to axe ‘Big Brother’ and the spin-off.
Afterwards, he wrote on Twitter: “You literally shaped my career and my personal life and I’ll forever be grateful. From day 1 I was a fan, became a housemate, winner, and host and I’ll never find anything like you again. @bbuk . The life I’ve got now is all because of you. Big Brother, I’ll get back to you. X (sic)”
Supermarket Sweep’s former host Dale was found dead from natural causes at his house in North London in April, aged 62.

The Weeknd reveals new album is ‘coming soon’

OHMYGOSSIP — The Weeknd has revealed his new album is “coming soon”.
The 28-year-old singer may have just released a six track EP ‘My Dear Melancholy’ in March this year, but he’s already got big plans for the full length follow-up to 2016 record ‘Starboy’.
Speaking to his fans during a show in his hometown of Toronto this week, the Canadian star said: “I wanna let you guys know, being in Toronto these past two days… I haven’t been this inspired in years, I got to tell you.
“I want you guys to be the first to know, I’m working on my new album right now. ‘Chapter 6’ coming soon, let’s get it!”
He later took to Twitter to add fuel to the fire, and hinted that he has something special in the pipeline.
He tweeted: “Some chapters are smaller than others. not this next one though… (sic)”
The Weeknd has certainly been busy if a new LP is coming, because he previously revealed he scrapped a “beautiful” and “upbeat” collection before unveiling his EP earlier this year.
He explained: “Prior to ‘Melancholy’, I had a whole album written, done, which wasn’t melancholy at all because it was a different time in my life…
“It was very upbeat – it was beautiful… I don’t want to perform something that I don’t feel.”
The Weeknd’s music so far has earned him some famous fans, and Barbra Streisand has admitted her songs ‘Don’t Lie To Me’ and ‘The Rain Will Fall’ were inspired by his song ‘Starboy’.
Opening up on first hearing it, she said: “It must have been some awards some… I didn’t even know what the hell he was saying. But the vibe was great.
“I loved the sound of the music – the pattern of it. I thought, ‘That is really cool.’ ”

Spice Girls: Mel C ‘led the charge’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel C “led the charge” for the Spice Girls reunion.
The ‘Wannabe’ girl group announced a comeback tour earlier this week, and now they have revealed that it has been in the pipeline for a long time.
Geri Horner told Radio 2 host – and her ex-boyfriend – Chris Evans: “In 2012, we did the Olympics That was really fun and brilliant and there was always that feeling on and off in the last seven years that some of us wanted to… some of us didn’t and it just kept on changing.
“Then, finally about six months ago… Mel C wasn’t sure. Melanie B and [Emma Bunton] always wanted to do it, all the way through.
“I thought ‘I’m just gonna go round Melanie C’s house for a cup of tea, one last go and said ‘what you think?’ because there was an offer about doing it.
“And she went ‘I’m not sure’ – have a think about it. Then suddenly it was like the match was lit and she took charge of it and went ‘I want to do it’ and then suddenly we were saying ‘let’s just do one show’, she went ‘let’s do loads…’ She led the charge, Mel C led it.”
However, Bel B doesn’t quite see it that way, and pointed out that she’s been calling for a reunion for a very long time.
She laughed: “Er, I’ve been leading it for 10 years, it’s been my idea!”
Meanwhile, TMZ has reported that the ‘Mama’ hitmakers – who won’t be joined by Victoria Beckham – will earn over $3 million each for their six date stadium tour net summer.
It’s said that if the gigs prove popular enough when tickets go on sale at the weekend, more dates will be added outside the UK and the quartet will earn around $6.5 million each.

VS Fashion Show will give models most ‘natural’ look yet

OHMYGOSSIP — This year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show models will have “natural and very real” hair for the catwalk.
The highly anticipated lingerie extravaganza is being filmed in New York City on Thursday (08.11.18) for a December airing and lead hairstylist Anthony Turner has revealed that the girls involved will each be sporting styles which complement their own unique faces.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Turner said: “I think this is the most undone the hair has ever been and the most we’ve ever taken it. We wanted it to feel very natural and very real. We’re not trying to make them so uniform. Instead we’re playing with each girl’s own hair texture and making them better versions of themselves.”
Turner wanted to switch up the styling to “celebrate” the models’ “individuality” in the way they wear their hair on the catwalk.
He added: “When I saw the casting, I said, ‘Listen. You have the most amazing lineup of models I think you’ve ever had – let’s embrace that with the hair as well.’ So we’re keeping the girls as they are and celebrating them as individuals.”
This year’s line-up of Angels and models include Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Shanina Shaik, Elsa Hosk – who has been selected to model the Dream Angels Fantasy Bra – the returning Behati Prinsloo and Winnie Harlow and Duckie Thot who are making their debuts in the VS Show.
Tuner revealed that 22-year-old model Cheyenne Carty – who will be walking the runway – was his inspiration for keeping their looks natural rather than the “bombshell umbrella” perfect hairstyles fans are used to seeing.
He said: “Chey Carty has a beautiful halo of curls and instead of blowing it out and putting extensions in and making it va-va voom, we’re keeping it exactly as she is because she looks beautiful. We’ve often seen everybody under this bombshell umbrella, but we’re not doing that this time.”

Behati Prinsloo: Victoria’s Secret return is a dream

OHMYGOSSIP — Behati Prinsloo says returning to the Victoria’s Secret Show after her daughter’s birth feels like a “dream”.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel is making her comeback to the runway after missing the last two shows to have her children, seven-month-old Gio Grace and two-year-old Dusty Rose, but she has admitted there was a time she was doubtful she would be able to return.
Sharing a mirror selfie showing off her toned abs on her Instagram story, Behati – who is married to Adam Levine – wrote: “After two babies back to back, doing the @victoriassecret show felt like a distant dream haha … I’m so proud to be back and proud of my body and what it can do, feeling stronger and healthier than ever with two beautiful baby girls. #girlpower. (sic)”
Behati will be joined at the lingerie extravaganza, being filmed in New York City this Thursday (08.11.18), by a bevy of the world’s beautiful models, including Elsa Hosk – who will be donning this year’s $1 Million Swarovski crystal Fantasy Bra – Taylor Hill, Martha Hunt, Adriana Lima, Stella Maxwell, Lais Riberio, Sara Sampaio, Josephine Skiver, Romee Strijd, Candice Swanepoel and Jasmine Tookes.
This year’s show will also see a host of newcomers including 24-year-old model Winnie Harlow, who is making her debut.

Victoria’s Secret model Kelly Gale works out ‘two hours everyday’

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria’s Secret Angel Kelly Gale works out “six days a week” as she gets ready to walk in the Fashion Show.
The 23-year-old model will be slipping into lingerie and strutting her stuff up the catwalk when the annual extravaganza takes place in
New York City on Thursday (08.11.18) and has revealed she goes to the gym for “two hours per day” to make sure her physique is in peak condition.
Speaking to Vogue Australia, Kelly said: “I like to go bed early the night before the casting so I get a good night’s sleep. I set my alarm early so I can do a meditation when I wake, and I then do a quick 15 min ab-blast to help define my abs. To be honest my exercise regimen doesn’t change that much leading up to the show. Meaning I work out six days per week all year round and usually workout two hours per day, and on top of that I like power walking 15 – 30km each day. In the lead up to the show I walk closer to 30 km every day, workout two hours per day.”
Kelly – who will walk in the prestigious runway show for the fifth year this month – also eats “healthy foods” to keep her slender figure and uses “infrared saunas” to help keep her complexion flawless and radiant.
She added: “In the lead up to the show it’s more important to me to focus on the muscle groups and make sure I really target those areas as best I can, which is through exercises with ankle weights, gliders and resistance bands.
“I was never introduced to bad, unhealthy foods so for me it’s just natural to eat very healthy. I eat lots of fish, all vegetables except potatoes, I love slow release carbs like oatmeal for breakfast, yogurt, and lots of berries and fruits. I snack on nuts and raw vegan chocolate sweetened with coconut sugar.
“I go to an infrared sauna, they are great for a whole range of health benefits and also help make your skin glow. I also like them because they help get rid of any puffiness or water retention I may have.”

Gisele Bundchen left Victoria’s Secret to cover up

OHMYGOSSIP — Gisele Bundchen stopped working with Victoria’s Secret because she no longer felt comfortable “wearing just a thong” on the catwalk.
The 38-year-old supermodel really enjoyed her early experiences modelling for the luxury lingerie brand, but as time went on the Brazilian beauty felt “less and less at ease” and wanted “anything to cover her up a little”.
Writing in her memoir ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life’, she revealed: “For the first five years, I felt comfortable modeling in lingerie, but as time went on, I felt less and less at ease being photographed walking the runway wearing just a bikini or a thong, give me a tail, a cape, wings — please, anything to cover me up a little!
“I was certainly grateful for the opportunity and the financial security the company had given me, but I was at a different place in my life, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue working there.”
When it was time to renew her contract in 2006, Gisele was hesitant and decided her fate by throwing two pieces of paper into an empty teacup with the words “yes” and “no” written on each.
She said: “I crumpled up two small pieces of paper and placed them inside an empty teacup. I closed my eyes and set an intention: whatever piece of paper I chose would be for my highest and best self and be the right decision. No was the answer I unconsciously wanted to hear, it was also the answer my body wanted to hear and, I believe, had been trying to tell me for days.”

LeAnn Rimes’ teenage meeting with husband

OHMYGOSSIP — LeAnn Rimes was stunned to realise she first met her husband when she was just 14 years old.
The 36-year-old singer-and-actress met Eddie Cibrian while working on ‘Northern Lights’ in 2008, while they were both married to other people, and they got engaged two years later, but both were shocked when they unearthed a picture of their younger selves at a fan appreciation event.
LeAnn – who married Eddie seven years ago – explained to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Well, we don’t remember meeting each other. No, but there is a photo of it, clearly, and it is odd.
“We both were like, ‘Wait, what?’ I think he was 23, I was 14 at the time, and he was doing ‘Young and the Restless’.
“He found that right after we had worked together. He was just digging through some photos in his garage and found it.”
The couple are currently preparing for the festive season but the ‘How Do I Live’ hitmaker doesn’t think she’ll ever get a better gift than her engagement ring.
Asked her best ever Christmas present, she said: “I got engaged on Christmas eve, so that. That’s a good one for sure.”
And LeAnn and 45-year-old Eddie – who has Mason, 15, and Jake, 11, from his marriage to Brandi Glanville – have a number of holiday traditions that they celebrate each year.
She said: “We usually go over to his parents. They make this huge Cuban feast and then we come home and I will leave like a trail of candy canes from their doors to the tree.”
The ‘Can’t Fight the Moonlight’ singer recently admitted she would like to have children of her own with Eddie one day.
When asked about having children, she said: “Maybe one day. I mean, I love my stepkids and I get plenty on my plate with them. So, I’m cool at the moment.”

Chrissy Metz inspired young boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Metz is proud to have helped a 10-year-old boy with an eating disorder.
The 38-year-old actress has had a number of encounters with fans of ‘This Is Us’ – on which she plays Kate Pearson – who have told her about the parallels between the show’s storylines and their own lives and she was particularly moved by a youngster who was inspired to “love himself for who he was” after seeing her alter ego’s struggles and the support she received an a weight loss group.
She told ‘Today’: “I had a little boy … his mom told me that he was going to an eating disorder clinic.
“And at 10 years old, I was just devastated, because I think in our society we tend to separate and divide, compare and despair.
“And when he wrote me a note and said that I had encouraged and inspired him to just love himself for who he was, I was like, ‘Yes.’ Like, yes, that’s all we really want to do, and that’s all we’re trying to do.
“It was very emotional on many levels.”
Meanwhile, Chrissy recently admitted she is keen to lose weight for herself.
She said: “[I’m losing weight] not for anybody but myself … I want to have a fit, healthy body and not have to be put in a box. I don’t want to be limited by anything …
“You don’t realise that somebody who’s average or even very fit could relate to someone who’s overweight but it’s not about our size – it’s how we look at ourselves and how we feel about ourselves.”
The actress has also revealed how she was passed on auditions in the early stages of her career because of her size.
She said: “I’d be getting maybe two auditions a year, and I’d always see the same small group of girls. It was like watching your boyfriend take another woman out every day … I was so gung ho, I lost 100 lbs. in less than five months. All I did was eat a 2,000-calorie diet and walk 20 minutes a day.”

Demi Lovato spending time at sober house

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato is living part time at a sober house.
The 26-year-old singer recently let rehab after a 90-day stint – which followed her hospitalisation from an overdose in July – and is now spending three days a week at the facility, which has counselling staff on hand, as well as people who she can shares experiences with.
But according to TMZ, Demi was also keen to resume a normal life so spends the rest of her time at a private home and is free to visit the gym or run errands, though she has a sober coach with her around the clock.
The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ hitmaker has also been attending regular Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings.
Earlier this week, Demi was pictured catching up with Henry Levy – who she met on a previous stint in rehab – and pals think the clothing designer is a “perfect sober friend” for her.
A source said: “Henry and Demi met a few years ago in rehab. They hit it off immediately and became fast friends.
“Henry takes his sober life very seriously and, when Demi sadly relapsed, they lost touch for some time… Henry is exactly the friend Demi needs right now.
“He is a perfect sober friend for her. Her friends feel he is a positive influence on her.
“Henry and Demi have been hanging at Demi’s home watching movies. This is such a key time in Demi’s sober process and just staying away from the party scene truly helps.”
The ‘Sober’ singer has vowed to “dedicate herself” to a life of sobriety following several years of struggling with addiction, and is thought to be distancing herself from her old friendship group.
A source added: “[She] has dedicated herself to her sober life and has surrounded herself with people in her programme.
“She is avoiding those in her social circle that supported her precarious lifestyle. Demi deserves a partner who will help her continue to live a clean life and her family and friends feel she is choosing more appropriate friends.”

Mike Parr’s emotional Emmerdale exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Parr burst into tears on the ‘Emmerdale’ set when he filmed his final scenes.
The 32-year-old actor departed the Dales earlier this month after five years playing Ross Barton on the ITV soap, and admits that he couldn’t help but get emotional when he shot his last moments opposite Natalie J. Robb (Moira Barton) and Anthony Quinlan (Pete Barton).
He said: “It’s been really sad already because the people in scheduling are really kind and in the scenes where I’m saying goodbye to Moira and Pete I felt like I really was saying goodbye so I was actually crying.
“It’s the end of a chapter. When I got given the character of Ross in 2013 we didn’t know he would be so well liked because he was nasty and the response when playing characters like that can be love or hate but everyone just took to him being a lovable rogue and it’s been great to play him.
“Leaving ‘Emmerdale’ is scary; this is the first time since the age of 14 that I’ve not had a job, but it’s also exciting.”
Mike is planning to head to Los Angeles in January in search of other roles, but he has ruled out appearing on an American soap opera after starring in ‘Emmerdale’ for so long.
He added to the St Helens Star newspaper: “I wouldn’t want to become a regular on a soap in the US as I have just spent so long in one, but I’d like to play different characters in guest spots.
“The kind of roles I’m looking forward to are still the baddie but different kinds of storylines – maybe in a HBO boxset or a Netflix show.
“For me it’s more than the part, I didn’t get into acting for money or anything, I want to earn enough obviously, but it’s about the art of it.”
Mike confirmed in May he would be departing the ITV soap, but joked he would stick around if he won the Best Actor award at the British Soap Awards – but he later lost out to Coronation Street’s Jack P. Shepherd.
He tweeted: “Yes I’ll be leaving the soap soon. Have had the best few years at Emmerdale but it’s time to move on and explore other avenues. If I win that soap award I might stay though (sic)”

Maureen Lipman thought she was ‘going to die’ on Coronation Street set

OHMYGOSSIP — Maureen Lipman thought she was “going to die” on her first day on ‘Coronation Street’.
The 72-year-old actress plays Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) battleaxe grandmother Evelyn Plummer on the ITV soap, and while she was keen to get back into TV because she “likes being recognised in the street”, the ‘Educating Rita’ star worried she had taken on too much at first.
Maureen – who has previously revealed her late husband, former ‘Corrie’ scriptwriter Jack Rosenthal, gave her a sign from beyond the grave that she should appear on ‘Corrie’ – said: “I wanted to be on television, and I don’t get offered many drama series because I’m not everyone’s cup of tea.
“I just wanted to get back into that world. I actually quite like being recognised in the street. I don’t mind any of that. It’s fun.
“When my agent said there’s a part going in ‘Corrie’ … I am a bit of a crazy person … the light came on over Jack’s picture.
“I’m a bit of a sucker for things like that, little messages. I know it’s silly but it helps me.
“I went up there, I got off the train and chose and a few jumpers and skirts, and a charming hair style.
“The first day we shot 39 pages. I thought I was going to die, I really did. I thought, ‘It just can’t be like this all the time?’
“But actually we were just cramming everything in so I could go off to Edinburgh and do my one-woman show I’m now bringing into town.”
Maureen – who appeared in ‘Corrie’ as landlady Lilian Spencer in 2002 – admits she is surprised when people approach her in the street and say they are fond of her no-nonsense character Evelyn, because she thinks her alter-ego is “ghastly”.
She said: “I’m [Evelyn’s] really not a nice person am I? It’s not much of a stretch.
“I say to people, ‘She’s really nasty’, but it’s in the British tradition of a battleaxe isn’t it? It’s right back to early ‘Coronation Street’.
“They’re giving me some good lines and some good situations.
“I’m there like a festering, ghastly mole aren’t I?”
As well as enjoying the fan attention her new role has brought, Maureen – who was born in Hull, east Yorkshire – is pleased to be spending time in the north of England again.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, she added: “I must say going back to work up north and it’s made me realise I’ve been an ex-pat for 50 years.
“I love London, I adore London, but actually [up north] you just relax bit.
“Although it’s a really hard schedule and I’m up and down like a bride groom’s trousers, it is still something I’ve realised that I’m really happy in the north.”

Night of the Living Dead sequel being made

OHMYGOSSIP — A sequel to ‘Night of the Living Dead’ is being made.
The 1968 horror classic – directed and co-written by late horror master George A. Romero – created the zombie genre on the big screen and now 50 years later an un-filmed script for a sequel has been found and is to be made into a movie by Living Dead Media.
A statement released by the company to website Bloody Disgusting read: “The history and Night of the Living Dead’s place on the Mt. Rushmore of horror films is known by most horror fans and people all over the world. But, unknown to most is that in the 1970s, the original writers and producers of ‘Night’ penned a sequel to their masterpiece. A sequel that inexplicably has gone unproduced – until now. Living Dead Media has brushed away the dirt from this amazing follow up to a classic and brought together a great team to produce the new film.”
Nothing else is known about the project, including whether or not Romero had any involvement with the script, but the plan is for ‘Night of the Living Dead Part II’ to be released in 2019.
Last month, it was revealed that Romero – who passed away in July at the age of 77 – left behind nearly 50 unused scripts that could become films and his widow Suzanne Desrocher-Romero is making it her “mission” to bring them to the big screen.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Suzanne said: “George has many scripts. We have very many scripts that he’s written. And so, you just never know what’s gonna pop up … George was a prolific writer. He loved to write, and we have 40, 50 scripts that he’s written, and a lot of it is very good. He had a lot to say, and he still does, because I’m gonna make sure that he does. It’s my mission.”
At the time of his death Romero had been working on ‘Road of the Dead’ and that movie is still in development.

Penny Lancaster wants to be police volunteer

OHMYGOSSIP — Penny Lancaster wants to “make a difference” as a police volunteer.
The 47-year-old star – who is married to rock legend Rod Stewart – joined the force for Channel 4 reality show ‘Famous and Fighting Crime’, and she admitted it has lit a fire in her.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’, the panellist said: “Being a police volunteer, I felt like I was on the front line and reaching out to those people, and making a difference in their lives.”
Now, Penny is keen to fully embrace the role beyond the show, and she revealed she got more out of the experience than she ever expected.
She added: “I’ve embraced it. The prospect of becoming a police officer and get involved on the front line, and getting to grips with the local community really appealed to me.
“It sounded exciting – I thought, what a fantastic experience. But that was just on the surface.
“When I actually got involved it was far more serious than that to the point that I was doing long shifts, getting home at four in the morning and my husband was terrified at the stories I would tell him.”
While her rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle was brought up, the former model explained it was a big reason behind her decision to volunteer.
She said: “Rod and I, obviously living a very privileged life, I always liked the idea of giving back.”
The show certainly went beyond what she expected, given that Penny thought she might be spending time answering calls rather than being on the front line herself.
She added: “It was sitting in the briefs, stab vest, in the cop cars, out in the streets, literally responding to whatever call came through. So, you never knew what was round the corner.”

Coleen Nolan rules out I’m a Celeb appearance

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan has ruled out appearing on this year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
Despite speculation the 53-year-old star could be taking her ‘Loose Women’ panellist opinions Down Under, the singer is adamant she won’t be gracing the Australian jungle with her presence.
A message on her official Twitter account read: “Hello tweeties – we can confirm that our Coleen is definitely NOT going into the #imacelebrity jungle this year …. she’s looking forward to watching it from the safety of her sofa tho #DontBelieveTheRumours (sic)”
The presenter is no stranger to reality TV after appearing on ‘Celebrity Fit Club’ and ‘Dancing on Ice’, but she doesn’t look set to add the jungle to her list.
ITV have confirmed the programme will return at 9pm on Sunday November 18th, and this year’s edition of the reality show – which features several celebrities who live together in a jungle environment without luxuries – will be hosted by Declan Donnelly and newcomer Holly Willoughby.
Holly is replacing usual presenter Ant McPartlin who is currently taking time out from his career after he recently spent time in rehab and was fined £86,000 for drink-driving.
Aside from Coleen, Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler, The Chase’s Mark Labbett and former ‘Coronation Street’ actor Shayne Ward have all been tipped to take part.
While audiences are excited, there are growing fears the launch could be in jeopardy because forecasters in New South Wales region of Australia have warned that downpours and thunderstorms are likely – which will have a huge impact on the celebrity contestants’ ability to set up camp.
A source recently said: “The place has been through a drought for the past few months and everyone has been praying for some rain.”
“Now it’s set to come right at the start of ‘I’m a Celebrity’.”
