Holly Willoughby ‘100 per cent confirmed’ to replace Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby will replace Ant McPartlin on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The ‘This Morning’ presenter will co-host the ITV show alongside Declan Donnelly following Ant’s decision to take the rest of the year off from TV commitments, after he spent time in rehab and was fined £86,000 for drink-driving earlier this year.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Holly is 100 per cent confirmed to be going into the Jungle this year as Ant’s stand-in.
“It’s been in the works for weeks as ITV were really keen on getting her in.
“They’ve taken their time announcing it as they wanted to be sure Holly could fit it in with her family and other work commitments.”
Holly, 37, is a close pal of Ant and Dec, both 42, and Donnelly is believed to have suggested her to ITV chiefs to replace Ant.
The insider explained: “Dec first brought up Holly last year, after Ant went into rehab the first time.
“Dec would have had a say in it because the most important aspect of the show is the chemistry between the hosts.
“Ant and Dec have this natural back-and-forth and bosses didn’t want to just replicate that.
“They wanted someone who could bring their own energy to the screen.”
This comes after Kevin Lygo, head of studios at ITV, revealed Ant is “doing really well” on the road to recovery.
He said: “The good news is that he’s doing really well, he’s doing everything he should be doing to get better.
“We collectively thought, let’s give it a good amount of time off, this is a slow procedure, that’s what we’ve decided to do.”

Their romance was first confirmed in June, when it was revealed that they had been dating for two months.
A source, who spotted them out together in West Hollywood at the time, said: “They clearly looked like a couple and didn’t leave each other’s side for the hour they were there. They were showing a lot of PDA and were being very lovey dovey.”

The actress – who plays Veronica Lodge on The CW television series ‘Riverdale’ – said: “It’s somebody completely out of the industry. It’s funny because I’m more hesitant to talk about it because I don’t want him to read this…I actually would totally talk about it right now, if I didn’t feel like, Wait, he might read this.
“It’s just dating people in the industry is tough. I did for a little bit. I’ve just dated actors. It’s hard when that’s your world.”

Speaking about fatherhood on UK station BBC Radio 2, Tom said: “I know everybody says, like, having a kid is their greatest achievement and I don’t think anyone can understand what it feels like to hold your child for the very first time until you actually do it and it was amazing. Your perspective changes massively.”
Talking about why he and Dustin found a surrogate in the screenwriter’s home country, he added: “The process [of how surrogacy] works, we were out in the States, and we were actually doing a documentary about the process of surrogacy because here in the UK, the surrogacy laws aren’t quite up-to-date and in turn, it doesn’t really protect the surrogate or the intended parents so we actually did it over in the States. My husband is American, one of us was going to do it in our home country and in the States the laws are there to protect the surrogate and the intended parent so much better so yeah, we chose to do it out there.”

Explaining his inspiration for creating the tome, he said: “The whole idea behind it is from being an elite athlete for so long, I’ve learnt so things about how to be happy, healthy and have the most energy, not feel hungry all the time and never feel tired and that’s the whole point behind this book. There’s seven habits so even if you were just to do a few of them, you can really help improve your lifestyle, the way you feel, your productivity. It does help, like even things like sleep, lots of people don’t prioritise sleep. Especially now with a baby, I know I’ve said it but he’s been so good with sleeping at the moment, I’m not looking forward to when he starts teething and all of a sudden there’s no sleep again.
“I’ve also been trying to make sure that all the ingredients you can get in there, you can get in your local shop, you don’t have to go to a specialist store to get anything and they’re all pretty quick and easy.”

Robbie Williams wants to “open a new chapter” of his career with his new role as an ‘X Factor’ judge

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams wants to “open a new chapter” of his career with his new role as an ‘X Factor’ judge.
The 44-year-old singer and his wife Ayda Field will both make their debut as judges on the ITV singing competition when it returns to screens on Saturday (01.09.18), and says recording the auditions has been “the most fun” he’s ever had, and would like to keep his place on the panel for the future.
Asked what his goal is for this series, the ‘Angels’ hitmaker said: “Selfishly, for me, I’ve had the most fun that I’ve ever had in the entertainment industry. The past four, five weeks, however long it’s been, I’ve seen the next 20 years of my career opening up in front of me. Everybody’s auditioning for ‘The X Factor’, including me and including my wife, and we really need this. We don’t, but it would be incredible to open a new chapter and have this be the start of it. I’m just having a whale of a time. Who knew that I would be a TV personality? I like it though!”
Robbie and Ayda are joined by One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and show creator Simon Cowell on the judging panel, and Robbie insists the group are “mates” and have great chemistry.
He said: “In the room, the mix is really right. You never know how that’s gonna translate on television, because once it goes through that filter it’s in the lap of the gods. But we’re mates right now. At the end of this show, I’d still like to be friends with Louis and Simon, and I would like to be married and not divorced.”
And the former Take That star had particularly kind words for Louis, whom he dubbed as “really clever” and “kind”.
Speaking to Roman Kemp for ITV’s ‘This Morning’, Robbie said: “Louis is like two different people. Off stage, he’s Doncaster lad, Yorkshire lad, lad lad lad. And then when he’s sat in the chair, he’s erudite, empathic, kind, got a great critique. He can spot where people are going wrong and put them right. He’s really clever, really smart.”

He wrote on Twitter: “How long does Viral Gastroenteritis last for? Bored now.
“This is day 4. Everything hurts. (sic)”
Several of James’ supporters sent well wishes to him on the social media site, and his former ‘Hollyoaks’ co-star Joe Tracini (Dennis Savage) couldn’t resist a light-hearted response.

Chloe Ayling: I don’t think Jermaine Pennant is mature enough to know he’s doing wrong

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Ayling doesn’t think Jermaine Pennant is “mature enough” to realise he’s “doing wrong”.
The pair sparked outrage among ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ viewers as they swapped love notes, kissed and even shared a bed, and the model appeared to discover the former Liverpool footballer – who has been married to Alice Goodwin since 2014 – hadn’t been honest with her about his relationship following her eviction on Tuesday night (28.08.18).
She said: “I would apologise to her [Jermaine’s wife], but then I would have to say that I could only go by what I was told and I knew nothing else.
“When you’re in that house, there’s no other way of checking what he’s saying is true. I could only believe that. I’m sorry this happened, but it’s his problem.
“I don’t think he’s mature enough to realise he’s doing wrong but hopefully he will learn.”
The 35-year-old footballer flirted with the 21-year-old model while they lived together the reality TV show house, and she claimed he told her his relationship was over.
Speaking to housemates Ryan Thomas and Dan Osborne on the Channel 5 show, Chloe said: “I said, ‘But you have a girlfriend’. And then he goes, ‘It’s f***ed now’.
“And something else I don’t understand. So he’s basically said it’s over.”
However, Jermaine insisted that his flirting with Chloe has just been “banter” as he backtracked on his previous remarks.
He told Gabby Allen and Ryan: “No one’s done anything so no one’s going to get into trouble. Obviously she thinks one thing but I mean, nobody’s done anything.
“They’ve not got on camera like me kissing or anything like that, the games we’re playing.”

The actor has appeared in a wide variety of roles during his career, and he explained that he’s always been keen to challenge himself.

“That’s why if you look at my filmography, it’s so eclectic. I’m always trying to challenge myself and take those risks and go for the triple axel, even though I might fall on my face. It’s still exciting to go for it and you still get points for trying.”

‘Coronation Street’ newcomer Stirling Gallacher hopes her character doesn’t clash with Sally Webster – because she wants to do more scenes with Sally Dynevor

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ newcomer Stirling Gallacher hopes her character doesn’t clash with Sally Webster – because she wants to do more scenes with Sally Dynevor.
The former ‘Doctors’ actress has joined the ITV soap as Paula Cunliffe, a love interest for Brooke Vincent’s alter-ego Sophie Webster, and while she admits her character may come in contact with Sophie’s mum Sally’s wrath at some point, she is confident the pair will not fall out.
She said: “If and when Sally finds out about the relationship they’re might be a bit of a frisson there but I’d imagine Paula would be able to work it so that they remained friends because I’d love it if Sally and Paula would hang out a bit more!”
Stirling was drawn to the part because she loved the idea of an older and younger woman getting together on a soap.
She said: “I really liked the idea that it was a realistic storyline about a relationship. I found the age difference a fascinating angle because it sounds more like a real relationship rather than an idea of what a lesbian relationship might look like from an outside context.”
And she has found work to be “so much easier” on ‘Corrie’ thanks to Sally and Brooke helping her to settle in.
She added: “They could not have been more welcoming or tried to make my life any easier. They’ve been fab and we’ve had a really good laugh. I’ve felt very easy very quickly in their company which makes getting on with the work so much easier.”

Maya Jama didn’t believe in monogamous relationships until she met Stormzy

OHMYGOSSIP — Maya Jama didn’t believe in monogamous relationships until she met Stormzy.
The 24-year-old presenter has been dating the ‘Shut Up’ hitmaker for four years and has admitted she didn’t think people under the age of 28 could stay faithful until she fell for the rapper, 25, and they got into a serious relationship.
Speaking on her podcast ‘When Life Gives You Melons’, she said: “To be fair, before my relationship, I used to tell everyone: ‘You know what you shouldn’t get in a serious relationship until you’re at least 28 because then you’ve actually got to stay in it.’ I think if you’re tempted to cheat while you’re on holiday then just don’t be in a relationship. Just don’t have it, just go on all these holidays and shag because I think cheating really hurts people’s feelings.”
And, although they now live together, Maya has admitted she and the rap star could definitely have sex while their friends are asleep in the same room.
She explained: “With my boyfriend, if my friend was asleep – definitely asleep – I probably could. You wouldn’t need to, would you? If you hadn’t seen each other for months and you weren’t going to for ages then maybe but on a normal night it’s not really needed. I probably wouldn’t unless I hadn’t seen matey in years and not going to see him in ages and my friend happened to be there …”
Maya and Stormzy have quite an open relationship when it comes to bodily functions and she has no shame in letting one rip while sitting next to him.
She said: “I’m quite open from the beginning. When we met I didn’t have IBS, it’s a newer thing but I used to put the shower on to do a poo but after they will catch it, they’ve caught the scent and once they’ve caught the scent I think it’s best to be honest because it’s going to kick off at some point.
“I think because of my laziness of having to hide things, I’d just be up front and honest about embarrassing stuff. We’ve been through fart wars, now we’re out the other end, but it used to be like who could get the last fart on the other person. I think the sound of it is quite funny. But that’s me being a child.”
Maya’s podcast is brought to you by Freya. Listeners are able to join in on the discussion on social media, by using the hashtag #MelonsPodcast.
