Declan Donnelly’s cryptic tweet

OHMYGOSSIP — Declan Donnelly has posted a cryptic tweet about “letting go of ego and resentment”.
The 42-year-old TV presenter retweeted a message from a fan account for American business mogul Warren Buffett, which read: “Let go of: 1 ego 2 entitlement 3 resentment 4 hate 5 doubt. Hold on to: 1 hope 2 gratitude 3 optimism 4 curiosity 5 love.”
While the account is shared with his presenting partner Ant McPartlin, Dec has exclusively been using it while Ant takes a break from his professional duties following a tumultuous year in which he split from his wife Lisa, spent time in rehab and was fined £86,000 for drink-driving.
Following the drama, Dec was forced to present the final two episode of this year’s ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ series and all of this year’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ live shows on his own.
And he is set to be joined by Holly Willoughby for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ as Ant continues to take time out of the spotlight.
A source recently said: “Holly is 100 per cent confirmed to be going into the Jungle this year as Ant’s stand-in.
“It’s been in the works for weeks as ITV were really keen on getting her in.
“They’ve taken their time announcing it as they wanted to be sure Holly could fit it in with her family and other work commitments.”
Holly, 37, is a close pal of Ant and Dec, both 42, and Donnelly is believed to have suggested her to ITV chiefs to replace Ant.
The insider explained: “Dec first brought up Holly last year, after Ant went into rehab the first time.
“Dec would have had a say in it because the most important aspect of the show is the chemistry between the hosts.
“Ant and Dec have this natural back-and-forth and bosses didn’t want to just replicate that.
“They wanted someone who could bring their own energy to the screen.”
And Ant will return to ITV “when he is ready”, according to the broadcaster’s chief executive.
Carolyn McCall explained: “He will come back when he’s well and when he is ready to come back.
“ITV will not be putting him under any pressure to come back unless he’s well and fit enough to come back.”
Asked specifically whether he’ll be returning to ITV, she replied: “As far as I know, that is true.”

Danny McBride ruled himself out of Halloween role

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny McBride didn’t cast himself in his new ‘Halloween’ film because he didn’t want his appearance to be “distracting” for the audience.
The 41-year-old actor has teamed up with director David Gordon Green and writer Jeff Fradley to pen a new story in the slasher film franchise and although he was tempted to be in it he thought his past comedy roles could detract from the horror on screen.
Speaking to Collider about the project, he said: “I intentionally didn’t want to be in it. I thought it would be too distracting. When we were really looking at the aesthetics of that first ‘Halloween’, there was no stunt casting in there. Besides Donald Pleasence, that was a cast of all new faces, so we felt that was very important in this, as well.”
The film has been made as a direct sequel to the first two ‘Halloween’ movies and McBride and the creative team have simply discarded all the other follow-ups in the franchise which have focused on psychopathic killer Michael Myers.
McBride admits it was a bit daunting to be offered to the opportunity to create a new chapter in the revered franchise but he knew that he and Green had to be brave and take it on.
The ‘Arizona’ star explained: “Look, it was a complete career surprise. For David Green and myself, it was something that we never would have imagined, in a million years. That’s why, when the opportunity came across, we were like, ‘How do you not do this? What’s cooler – the story that we did this, or the story that we were too chickens**t to do it?’ So, we put our thinking caps on and tried to figure out how we would crack it and what we would do. We both have interests, outside of comedy. David has directed movies that are very serious and dark, and he has strong dramatic sensibilities. That’s also stuff that I’m interested in, as well. So, this was the perfect opportunity to spread our wings and put our minds on something creatively, that is well outside of what people would expect from us.”
In ‘Halloween’, Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Laurie Strode – the babysitter who escapes Myers’ murderous clutches in the original 1978 film – for her final outing as the character.
The franchise’s creator John Carpenter is also back as the composer for the horror and his return means that the new installment is the first film in the canon with his direct involvement since 1982’s ‘Halloween III: Season of the Witch’.

Emma Watson joins Little Women

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Watson has joined the cast of ‘Little Women’.
The ‘Harry Potter’ actress will star alongside the likes of Meryl Streep, Laura Dern and Saoirse Ronan in Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, replacing Emma Stone, who was unable to commit to the project because of her promotional obligations to ‘The Favourite’.
According to Variety, roles in the film are still being worked out so it is unknown which of the March sisters will be played by Emma.
The movie – which is also being written by Greta – tells the story of four sisters as they transition from childhood to womanhood and will also feature Florence Pugh and Timothee Chalamet.
The novel has been adapted for the big screen several time before, including the 1994 version directed by Gillian Armstrong.
That movie featured Winona Ryder as the main character, Josephine ‘Jo’ March, an ambitious young woman, who longs to become a successful author.
The all-star cast also included Gabriel Byrne, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, Christian Bale and Susan Sarandon.
The upcoming Gerwig-directed adaptation would be a reunion for Gerwig, Ronan and Chalamet, after Greta directed the pair in her directorial debut ‘Lady Bird’.
And Saoirse recently revealed that she continues to be mentored by her idol Greta.
She said: “I was a huge fan of Greta Gerwig before I worked with her on ‘Lady Bird’.
“Meeting Greta and knowing that she knew who I was and wanted to talk to me about the script was so exciting. We Skyped before we met and we were so giggly, like two kids in high school. She’s been very supportive since.
“She’s everything I want to be as an actor and as a filmmaker. I could feel myself going from being like, ‘Maybe one day I’ll direct, to looking at Greta and going, ‘I really want to do this.’ ”

Robert Plant mourns with music

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Plant’s music lets him “cry” about his late son.
The former Led Zeppelin rocker’s five-year-old boy, Karac, passed away from a stomach virus in 1977 while was on tour in the US and though the 70-year-old musician has channelled his grief into his songs, he admits he’ll never get over losing the youngster, who he had with first wife Maureen Wilson.
He said: “I’ve written four songs about my boy who passed away. It lets me cry. You know, with pain like that, it’s never gone.”
The ‘Whole Lotta Love’ hitmaker also suggested he gave up taking drugs after the death of his son.
Asked what he puts his survival down to, he told Event magazine: “I don’t put it down to anything.
“There’s a myth that surrounds artists and writers who don’t spend their time refuting, denying things. I don’t care whether I did or didn’t do too much stuff.
“Some of the greatest work that’s ever been created, the greatest projection and delivery of music, has come from stoners, but I had nothing to do with all that s**t, not since I lost my boy.”
Despite his advancing years, Robert has no plans to retire until he stops finding playing music “magnificent”.
He said: “Jimmy [Page] did an interview for the NME in the early Nineties, and the title was Help The Aged.
“But people don’t clock off at 65 if they’re doing what they love to do.
“Maybe in the end. None of it’s worth a dime, but you can have a great time in the middle of it all. If you don’t think it’s magnificent to do this, then you really need to change the cassette and get off the bus quick.”
Meanwhile, the veteran rocker insists he doesn’t regret any of his lewd lyrics.
He insisted: “No, they’re fine. I was just 20, I was a guy being driven by the excitement of the moment. Anyway, it’s not as saucy as Prince.”

Mike Shinoda opens up about anxiety to Reading Festival crowd

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Shinoda admitted he suffered with “anxiety” about performing again as he paid tribute to Chester Bennington at Reading Festival.
The Linkin Park star got emotional as he opened up about the passing of the frontman – who took his own life last July aged just 41 – and said he’s forever “indebted” to his fans for giving him the courage to get back on stage and do what he loves as he played the main stage on Saturday (25.08.18).
Trying to hold back the tears, Mike said: “Getting up here and doing this for me is really fulfilling, and it’s really an accomplishment just to kind of get over my own anxiety about doing it again.
“I’m really indebted to you guys for helping me get here. I don’t think I would be able to come out and do these if not for you, so thank you so much.”
The 41-year-old star added that he hopes attending shows brings some relief to those who may be going through their own battles, advising them to never feel “ashamed” by their problems.
He continued: “One thing that I’ve been hearing quite a bit, is how some of you guys are going through some things, and how the connection to the music helps you get through it.
“With that said I know that there are some people out there who, you know myself I want to come to a show, I want to come to a festival and have a great time, and there are other people who, they’re hurting and they’ve got some stuff going on.
“And I want you guys to know if that’s you, then don’t be ashamed of that, you have no reason to be ashamed of that ever.
“If it’s as simple as, you just really liked or loved Chester’s singing, or you loved the band’s music, or you’re just dealing with your own stuff that has nothing to do with us, hopefully by coming to these shows and enjoying the music, and by engaging in this type of thing, it makes some of that bad feeling just go away.”
Before performing a sombre rendition of the rock band’s 2003 breakthrough hit ‘In The End’, the Fort Minor star instructed: “I want you guys to sing it so loud that Chester can hear you.”
Mike also performed songs from his debut solo EP ‘Post Traumatic’, which helped him get through dealing with Chester’s death.
He also later joined pop punk veterans Sum 41 on stage to perform Linkin Park’s song ‘Faint’.

Tom and Giovanna Fletcher’s son Buzz reads to baby brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom and Giovanna Fletcher’s eldest son Buzz has been reading books to his newborn brother.
The McFly singer and his 33-year-old wife – who also have two-year-old Buddy together – welcomed a third boy, Max Mario, into the world on Friday (24.08.18) and he’s already been made to feel at home by Buzz.
Alongside an adorable photo of their first child sat with a book next to their latest addition in his cot, Giovanna wrote on Instagram: “Buzz is taking his big big brother responsibilities very seriously! This is the third book he’s ‘read’ Max in the last five minutes… xxx (sic)”
Yesterday (25.08.18), Tom – who is also an award-winning children’s author – shared the first photo of the baby on his own Instagram account, and wrote: “Our gorgeous son, Max Mario Fletcher was born yesterday afternoon.
“We are all totally in love with him and can’t wait to take him home to meet his brothers. We have three boys!”
The 33-year-old musician later praised his wife for her strength during her drug-free labour.
He posted: “I would like to take this moment to say how in absolute awe I am of @mrsgifletcher . I’ve witnessed her go through labour and give birth three times now and all three have been different but equally special experiences.
“She once again used hypnobirthing and had no drugs or pain relief, just breathing and relaxation techniques. It is truly incredible to watch! She is the most focussed, strong, determined woman I’ve ever met and our boys are the luckiest kids on the planet to be able to call her Mum.”
He went on to praise “all the mums out there” and admitted he hadn’t played much of a part in bringing his third child – who weighed in at 7lbs – into the world.
He continued: “To all the mums out there, no matter which way you brought your child into the world, whether you had no pain relief or all the drugs in the world, pool birth or c-section, what you can do with your body is an absolute miracle! You’re awesome!
“So, well done honey and thank you for squeezing another human out of your body while I watched and ate Jelly Babies.(sic)”

Robin Thicke and April Love Geary expecting a girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Robin Thicke and April Love Geary are having a girl.
The ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker and his 23-year-old model girlfriend – who already have six-month-old daughter Mia together – held a gender reveal dinner at celebrity hotspot Catch in Los Angeles on Saturday night (25.08.18).
April took to her Instagram Story to share several clips of the party, including one of them cutting a chocolate cake open and pink liquid pouring out of it, signalling they are expecting a second daughter.
The brunette beauty also added a picture of her kissing the singer, and captioned it: “Going to have another daddy’s girl!!! I love you baby! thank you @markbirnbaum for doing the best sex reveal ever!!!!! At my favorite restaurant @catch (sic)”
The couple revealed they are to become parents again last week, by sharing a video of young Mia holding a sonogram with the caption: “Well someone is going to be a big sister next year! We’re so excited to share with y’all that I’m expecting again! (sic)”
But it wasn’t long before she was facing criticism online from trolls who blasted her and Robin, 41 – who is also father to eight-year-old Julian, whom he has with ex-wife Paula Patton – for not getting married before starting a family together.
Blasting back at the haters on her Instagram story, April wrote: “Why are women so obsessed with telling me I need a ring? Getting married is the easy part, seeing how you are together AFTER having babies is the hard part.
“We’re in 2018. Not in the 1950’s. Women don’t NEED to get married before having babies. Ya’ll need to chill (sic).”
Robin and April’s baby joy comes after April revealed she tragically suffered a miscarriage before falling pregnant with Mia.
When asked during an Instagram Story Q&A if she was “scared” by the possibility of miscarrying, she said: “I had one before Mia. But I’m not scared, worrying or stressing out too much isn’t good for the baby. Life happens and we can’t control everything.”
The couple’s little girl is due on March 10, 2019, which will be Robin’s 42nd birthday.

Jack Odell died of accidental overdose

OHMYGOSSIP — Jackson Odell’s cause of death has been revealed as an “accidental” heroin and cocaine overdose.
The ‘Goldbergs’ star was found dead aged just 20 on June 8, at his home in Tarzana, California, and now the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed his body had suffered “acute heroin and cocaine toxicity”, The Blast reports.
Jackson’s family paid tribute to the young star at a private service held just a week after his passing for next of kin.
Following his death, Jackson’s family released a statement via his Twitter account.
They said: “The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell, on Friday. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward.
“Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew and loved him does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately. We will not be making anymore statements.”
US comedian Josh Wolf, whose son Jacob was best friends with the ‘Modern Family’ actor, told how he was “not a sad kid”, and “loved his life”.
He said: “It is important people know this was not a sad kid.
“This is a young man who lost his life and the truth of the matter is that he was so ready to live, so it was a complete shock to all of us to find out he had passed.
“There was no part of Jackson that was suicidal and Jackson should not be lumped in with anyone that is suicidal, or that was looking for a way out.
“Whatever his past was, I can tell you I have known Jackson for six years, through whatever, and there was never a moment in time when this kid did not love life.
“He was ready to live, to share his gift, to spread love, be loved and enjoy life. Jackson loved being round his friends and family and playing his music and laughing and smiling. No matter what was happening in his life, those things never changed.
“It is a shame that as a young man who celebrated life so intensely, that whatever he may or may not done at some point in time, is what people are now focusing on.”
Jackson was best known for playing popular student Ari Caldwell in sitcom ‘The Goldbergs’.

Bethenny Frankel reveals grief struggle after ex-lover Dennis Shields’ death

OHMYGOSSIP — Bethenny Frankel is finding it “hard to breathe” after losing her former on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields.
The 51-year-old banker – whom Bethenny started seeing in 2016 – was found dead in his Trump Tower apartment earlier this month after reportedly suffering from an overdose, and the 47-year-old star admits it has been “excruciating” not being able to have closure after his “sudden” passing.
Thanking her fans for their continued “support”, Bethenny tweeted on Sunday (26.08.18): “It’s hard to breathe & I appreciate you giving me the space & support to try to do so. It’s excruciating-sudden death is no closure & constant ?s & memories. Our relationship is current so it’s painfully raw. Trying to stay healthy & move through it w tears & close friends. Xo (sic)”
The ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star previously took to Instagram to post a tribute to her late ex-lover.
Posting a picture of Dennis laying on a bed with her beloved dog Cookie – who passed away in October last year at the age of 17 – Bethenny wrote: “Rest In Peace my sweet babies who gave me endless unconditional love. #nowandforever (sic)”
And a source later claimed that Bethenny – who was not in a relationship with Dennis at the time of his death – has been left “devastated” by the news.
They said: “She is devastated. She loved him. He was her family and [her eight-year-old daughter] Bryn’s family. Bryn loved him. Dennis was Bethenny’s partner, her family, her business partner and her best friend.
“He helped her with things – emotionally and professionally, and he was her confidante. No question that she did love this guy.”
Bethenny began dating Dennis three years after filing for divorce from ex-husband Jason Hoppy, with whom she has eight-year-old daughter Bryn.
The pair endured many break-ups and make-ups – most of which were documented on ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ – but remained close even when they weren’t together.
A source previously said: “Bethenny and her daughter Bryn love Dennis and his family and they have been a support system during her negative divorce and a positive influence in Bryn’s life.
“They had a 27-year friendship before they dated so they picked that up where they left off once they realised they didn’t work as a couple. Her daughter adores him and his family, and she comes first above all.”

Normani Kordei’s road to self-discovery

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani Kordei feels like her true self since becoming a solo artist.
The Fifth Harmony star – who is gearing up to release her debut solo album – has opened up about the road to “self-discovery” she has been on following the girl group – also comprised of Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Dinah Jane – announcing their hiatus in March, and how she feels like she can achieve anything her “heart desires” now the creative control is in her hands.
She told the September issue of L’Officiel magazine: “Honestly, I’ve had self-discovery and really been able to get the opportunity to know myself in ways that I hadn’t been able to before.
“Recognising who I was in that entity of Fifth Harmony [is] somebody totally different than who I am now – being able to be in a recording studio and freely talk about whatever it is my heart desires.
“There’s nothing that I can’t do now. I want to be able to do everything, so by the end of this project, I know that I put my absolute all and put my whole self into it.
“For anybody to be able to listen to this body of work, or even look at me as a young Black woman and say, ‘I see myself in her.’
“And just to put it all out there and be as honest as possible throughout the process.”
Normani previously admitted it would be an “adjustment” going solo but that she was very “excited” to let people know who the real Normani is.
She added: “It’s definitely going to be an adjustment. It’s all I’ve known for the last six years, but I’m excited … It’s a discovery for myself, you know? There are so many people that are excited for me, trying to see, ‘Oh, what is she gonna do next? ‘What does Normani sound like?’ I’m still trying to figure that out … I’m in the studio and its really cool because I talk about things that I actually wanna talk about and things that I feel genuinely, and I can finally fully be myself. I feel like, within the group, I’m so, so grateful for the process but I can speak for all of us, you’ve only been able to see a fraction of who we are individually.”

Mel B’s mother Andrea Brown ‘so proud’ of daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B’s mother Andrea Brown is “so proud” of her daughter for opening up about her battle with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
The 43-year-old Spice Girl – who got back in touch with her estranged mother in 2017 after they fell out several years ago – has the full support of her parent after she revealed she is planning to check into rehab after reaching “crisis point”.
Mel re-tweeted a message from Andrea praising her for facing her “demons head on”.
The post read: “I am so proud of my daughter. She has the courage to face her demons head on and deal with them.
“I know what hell she has been through and I know what trauma she suffered and still suffers.
“Do not judge because so many people have PTSD and try and number the pain any way they can.
“I am proud of her honesty and I am proud my daughter speaks out on a subject that affects so many people (sic)”
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge – who has children Phoenix, 19, Angel, 11, and six-year-old Madison from previous relationships – is preparing to enter a British facility in the next few weeks to get help after being diagnosed with the condition and admitted she had been drinking heavily following a turbulent period in her life, including the death of her father Martin Brown and her split and subsequent messy divorce battle from Stephen Belafonte, who she accused of being abusive.
She said: “The past six months have been incredibly difficult for me.I’ve been working with a writer on my book, ‘Brutally Honest’, and it has been unbelievably traumatic reliving an emotionally abusive relationship and confronting so many massive issues in my life from the death of my dad to my relationship with men.
“I’ve also been through more than a year of court battles which have left me financially battered and at the mercy of the legal system, which is completely weighted against emotionally abused women because it’s very hard to prove how someone took away all your self-respect and self-worth.
“I am being very honest in my book about drinking to numb my pain but that is just a way a lot of people mask what is really going on.
“Sometimes it is too hard to cope with all the emotions I feel. But the problem has never been about sex or alcohol — it is underneath all that…
“I am fully aware I am at a crisis point. No-one knows myself better than I do. But I am dealing with it.
“I love my three girls more than life itself.I have also made the decision to go into a proper therapy programme in the next few weeks, but it has to be in the UK because I am very, very British and I know that will work best for me.”
Mel hopes being candid about her own struggles will help other people.
She added: “I am still struggling. But if I can shine a light on the issue of pain, PTSD and the things men and women do to mask it, I will do.
“I am speaking about this because this is a huge issue for so many people.I’m not perfect, and I have never pretended to be. But I am working on being a better version of myself for my kids, for my family and for all the people who have supported me in my life.”

Russell Brand sings for wife on first wedding anniversary

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Brand treated his wife to a rendition of his song from ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ on their first wedding anniversary.
The 43-year-old comedian took to Twitter on Sunday (26.08.18) to share a clip of him singing the track ‘Inside of You’ from the 2008 rom-com – in which he played rocker Aldous Snow – to his lifestyle blogger spouse Laura Gallacher.
In the video, he can be heard belting out: “Old as Ancient Skies/I’ve had these wondering eyes.
“But you took me by surprise when you let me inside of you/Inside of you/Inside of you.
“I long to be, is it wrong to be, inside of you.”
The ‘Rock of Ages’ actor then thanks his co-star Jason Segel for making the song and wished Laura a “Happy Anniversary”.
The British star welcomed a second daughter with Laura – with whom he already has 21-month-old tot Mabel – a month ago and recently admitted he has found “peace and serenity” since having a family.
The couple live in the English countryside with their two children and the reformed hell-raiser said his happy home life has transformed him as a man.
When asked if parenthood had changed him, he replied: “Yes. I think it’s inevitable that it changes you. You can be changed by a yogurt. So parenthood … I’ve got so much peace and serenity in my domestic life that I don’t have the same sort of buccaneer attitude.”
Russell – who was previously wed to pop superstar Katy Perry – couldn’t be happier with the quiet lifestyle he leads these days, even if being a family man is more tiring than going out partying.
He said: “I feel happier living with a person, having to pick up dog poo and change nappies than I ever did being involved in more decadent activity.
“It’s tiring picking up poo and being more ordinary and real, but it’s a relief. It feels connected and purposeful.”

Paris Jackson’s birthday tribute for godfather Macaulay Culkin

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson has wished her godfather Macaulay Culkin the “happiest of birthdays”.
The 20-year-old actress took to her Instagram profile to pay tribute to the ‘Home Alone’ actor – who she nicknamed mack attack – who turned 38 on Sunday (26.08.18).
She captioned a series of photos of the pair, which included one of their matching spoon tattoos: “happiest of birthdays mack attack, i love you so so dearly and keep you very close to my heart. always (sic)”
Earlier this year, Macaulay – who is also godfather to the late Michael Jackson’s sons Prince, 21, and Blanket, 16 – insisted he is “very protective” of Paris.
When asked about the actress during an appearance on Marc Maron’s ‘WTF’ podcast, he said: “I’m going to warn you now, I am very protective of her so just look out. I am a very open book when it comes to things but like with her, she is beloved by me.”
Podcast host Marc then clarified he wasn’t “looking for any dirt” by asking about the ‘Star’ actress, and Macaulay made it clear any questions about their friendship would lead to a “dead end”.
He added: “I’m just letting you know if we want to start going down that road it’s going to be a dead end, but I mean that in the fact that I love her so much.”
Marc then rephrased his question to ask how the blonde beauty was doing, and Macaulay said: “She’s tall, and beautiful and smart. It’s great.”
In July last year, Macaulay and Paris got their matching inkings on their arms during a weekend bonding session in Los Angeles, and the daughter of the late King of Pop – who died in 2009 from acute Propofol intoxication – shared a picture of the pair showing off the body art on her Instagram story.
Meanwhile, a month prior, Paris got a tattoo in tribute to her late father when she had the word “Applehead” – a pet name she had for her dad – inked on her left foot.
Showing off her tribute on Instagram, Paris wrote: “with every step i take, you lift my foot and guide me forward. love you (sic).”

Luke Pritchard’s loo proposal

OHMYGOSSIP — The Kooks’ Luke Pritchard proposed to his fiancee Ellie Rose whilst she was using the loo.
The 33-year-old indie rocker popped the question whilst donning a smart suit and bow tie and serenaded his wife-to-be – who has been dating for less than a year – with some Fleetwood Mac.
The ‘Ooh La’ hitmaker – who performed at Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend with his band – told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “She didn’t expect it. She was having a pee and I put on a tux and some Fleetwood Mac.”
Announcing their engagement earlier this week, Luke uploaded a photo of the couple posing together as Ellie placed her hand – featuring her diamond ring – over his mouth.
He simply captioned the image with a series of ring emojis, while Ellie uploaded a collage of pictures to her own account and wrote: “If a weirdo like me can find love – there’s hope for everyone. Cheers (sic).”
The ‘Naive’ hitmaker was introduced to Ellie through a mutual friend earlier this year, and they got on so well that they decided to move in together shortly after.
A source said previously: “Luke is the happiest he’s been in a long time since he got together with Ellie. They got introduced by mutual friends in the music world and haven’t looked back since. Luke has been really keen to get Ellie’s career off the ground and has been helping her work on her new single.
“She’s also been a real support while he’s been out at different gigs and they’re now planning on getting a place together.”
Luke – who has previously dated the likes of Georgia May Jagger, Suki Waterhouse and actress Mischa Barton – admitted two months ago that his band’s new album ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’, their first in four years, is based on love letters he penned for his new partner after suffering from an agonising heartbreak previously.
He said: “I started off the record in quite a bad place. I’d had a pretty bad relationship that ended. My girlfriend at the time ran off with another singer.”

He added a video on his profile with the caption: “Thanks for showing up for my boy’s birthday party @coolhaus kids went crazy. (Love you AM) #ibuywomenowned (sic)”
The reunion comes a month after the ‘Transformers’ star split from his actress girlfriend Eiza Gonzalez.
The pair started dating in May, following Josh’s split from estranged wife Fergie last year, and decided to call time on their romance after realising they were on “different pages” when it came to the future of their relationship.
A source said at the time: “Josh Duhamel and Eiza Gonzalez have ended their relationship. Josh truly enjoyed Eiza’s company but is ready to move on. Eiza was very busy with work and so was Josh. She was willing to do whatever it took to make it last, but Josh just isn’t in that place at the moment.
“While they did end things partially because of their work schedules, they also called it quits because they truly are on different pages and the timing just wasn’t right. She was looking for a serious relationship and wanted a life partner. He wasn’t at that point.
“Josh is highly independent and he values his space and free time. It was hard for Eiza to deal with being apart so much.”
The insider claimed the ‘Love, Simon’ actor was still mourning the split from Fergie, and “didn’t have the same goals” as Eiza, 28, who was looking to settle down.
They added: “Josh and Fergie’s break up is still very raw and painful for him. He worked hard to move on from his eight-year marriage and Eiza was a wonderful companion for him during a very difficult time.
“After Josh and Fergie split, he wasn’t expecting to get involved with anyone so soon and, in the end, Josh didn’t have the same goals as Eiza. Josh and Fergie have been talking often. He has done everything to keep their parenting relationship intact, but he also misses her.”
Some friends in Josh’s inner circle were said to believe the end of his romance with Eiza could leave room for another shot with the ‘Fergalicious’ hitmaker instead.
The source said: “Some of their friends are relieved that the relationship with Eiza is over and hope one day Fergie and Josh will work it out.”

Kanye West gifts a neon green Mercedes-Benz to Kim Kardashian West

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has surprised his wife Kim Kardashian West by gifting her a neon green Mercedes-Benz SUV.
The chart-topping rapper decided to treat the reality TV star with the eye-catching 4×4 SUV, with Kim subsequently taking to her Instagram story to show off her new vehicle.
Kim – who was recently photographed getting into the same model SUV in Miami – said on her social media account: “Look who surprised me with this baby, you guys. I got the truck of my dreams ’cause I was so excited in Miami.”
Kim – who has kids North, five, Saint, two, and seven-month-old Chicago with Kanye – explained that she fell in love with the car while driving the same make and model around Miami.
She shared: “Oh my gosh, I just got out of the gym and was surprised by this new baby. I loved it so much in Miami and I kept on talking about it.”
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump recently heaped praise on Kim and Kanye at a fundraising event.
The outspoken politician – who has personally met with Kanye and Kim since winning the US election in 2016 – said: “Now we’re doing great and Kanye West liked me and that really lifted my … Kanye West has some real power!
“He’s got a good wife too, in Kim, I’ll tell ya. She really is [great].”
Kim, 37, attended a personal meeting with the President at the White House earlier this year, when she asked for clemency for inmate Alice Marie Johnson.
Trump – who ultimately granted clemency to Johnson, who had been serving life without parole for a first-time drug offence – thinks Kim did a “great thing”.
He said: “She did a great thing. She did a great thing.
“The person was in jail on a very strange thing. She was there for 22 years and it was based largely on a phone call that they were listening to and she had another 24 years.”
