Roxanne Pallett quits CBB

OHMYGOSSIP — Roxanne Pallett has quit ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 35-year-old actress walked out of the house after claiming that during a play fight she was “punched” by co-star Ryan Thomas “like a boxer would punch a bag” and accused him of being a “woman beater”.
A CBB spokesperson said: “Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.”
Ryan was given a warning after the incident with Roxanne, but she was blasted by celebrities and the public, who insisted that Ryan did not hurt her.
And the pair were seen making up on Friday’s (31.08.18) show as Ryan said he did not intend to upset her.
He said: “I want you to know from the bottom of my heart I was showing my affection. Maybe it came across wrong and I really do apologise if it came across that way. For the sake of your little time in here, and my time here and everyone else’s, put it to bed.”
An emotional Roxanne replied: “I’m not questioning your integrity. I just felt shocked and it threw me.”
Ryan added that he hoped the pair could “make it right”, saying: “Let’s just sort it out and make everyone else smile and move forward. I don’t want this to be our ending, I don’t want this to be your ending, I don’t want this to be my ending. It won’t because we’re not gonna let that happen, let’s just make this right.”
Roxanne then extended her hand to Ryan, who accepted her handshake.
Speaking about the incident, Roxanne’s representative said: “Roxanne has no contact with the outside world to make her own statement, however we do know that Roxanne has worked closely with various domestic violence charities due to being a victim of domestic violence herself.
“She would be very upset to find out she may have caused offence to others who have been through the same. We can’t make any more comment at present until such time as Roxanne is out of the ‘Big Brother’ house and is able to address this situation herself.”

Tom Hardy used his son as a ‘guide’ for Venom

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy didn’t know who Venom was and so he used his son as a “guide”.
The 40-year-old actor has been cast as Eddie Brock in the upcoming Marvel movie and Tom has revealed he was “versed” in the ways of the anti-hero by his 10-year-old son Louis.
Speaking to Total Film magazine, Tom confessed: “I’m not going to lie, I just thought he was a black Spider-Man. I didn’t really read comic books, so my information was limited.
“But I was given loads of comics when I got involved. All the comics! And more importantly, I had my son as my guide … I was versed in the way of Venom by a 10-year-old. I consulted the oracle, there. And he would steer me on.”
The ‘Legend’ actor will be playing Eddie Brock and his alter ego on at least two more occasions if his upcoming film is a box-office success.
And Tom has admitted he “enjoyed” playing the role of the infamous anti-hero.
He said: “I was like, ‘This is a great character, because he’s a diverse anti-hero. He’s not a good guy, and he’s not a bad guy.’ He’s connected to this alien who’s not from this planet.
“They’ve got to figure out an ethical framework between the two of them, and neither of them are run-of-the-mill types. There’s this kind of odd couple [relationship] between the two of them. I enjoyed the Jekyll and Hyde nature of that, in a superhero world.”

Paul Weller’s next album will be spacey and soulful

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Weller’s next solo album will be “spacey and soulful”.
The 60-year-old British music icon hasn’t even released his 26th solo record ‘True Meanings’ yet, but he’s already putting his ideas together for his next one.
Asked what it will sound like, The former Jam star told the latest issue of Q Magazine: “Well, I don’t want to say too much, it’s still in the development stage but something kind of spacey and soulful as well.
“I’ve got three or four tunes that I am happy with so it’s going the right way.
The ‘Going Underground’ hitmaker has always been a prolific songwriter, but he admits he is even moreso now he’s getting older as he realises how precious life is.
He continued:”Life goes by so quickly. It’s probably with my age saying this but it is true, mate.
“You’ve got to f***ing really love it and dig it and get on with it and enjoy it while you can.”
‘True Meanings’ features a number of collaborations, including a track with Weller’s pal Noel Gallagher.
In May 2018, Weller turned 60 and reaching that landmark age has influenced the songs on the LP, whilst it also features the most collaborations he has ever committed to record.
Weller and the former Oasis star have teamed up for a song, which is the latest in a long line of joint songwriting efforts by the pair.
Previous collaborations including ‘Echoes Round the Sun’ on Weller’s 2008 LP ’22 Dreams’ and ‘Birth of an Accidental Hipster’, which they co-wrote for The Monkees’ 2016 album ‘Good Times!’
Weller also featured on Noel’s latest solo album, ‘Who Built the Moon?, playing the organ on ‘Holy Mountain’.
Other guest appearances on ‘True Meanings’ come from Rod Argent of the Zombies playing Hammond organ on ‘The Soul Searchers’ and piano and Mellotron on ‘White Horses’; folk legends Martin Carthy and Danny Thompson adding picked guitar and double bass respectively to ‘Come Along’; Little Barrie taking lead guitar on ‘Old Castles’; Lucy Rose singing back-up vocals on ‘Books’; and ‘Movin On’ is the result of a “scratchy demo” on Paul’s phone that was sent to Tom Doyle of the White Label project.
The record also surprisingly contains four songs which have lyrics penned by other writers to Weller’s melodies and music.
Connor O’Brien from Villagers came up with the words to opener ‘The Soul Searchers’, while ‘Bowie’, ‘Wishing Well’ and the closing ‘White Horses’ are all the lyrical work of Erland Cooper from Erland & The Carnival.

Hilary Duff has chosen daughter’s name

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilary Duff has already chosen her new baby’s name.
The ‘Younger’ star is due to give birth to her little girl, whom she’s expecting with her boyfriend Matthew Koma, later this year but revealed that the pair already know what they want to call the tot.
She told PEOPLE: “It was the very first thing [we decided on. We’ve known her name for a really long time. Her name starts with a B, and I keep calling her baby B, which is awesome because people are like, ‘Oh, no, it’s just because of his last name.'”
Koma’s birth name is Matthew Bair.
Hilary, 30, also revealed that pair were torn between two names but are now thrilled with their choice.
She said: “We actually agreed. We had one name picked out and then we swapped a week later and we haven’t discussed it since.
“It’s unique but it’s not too weird. The name that we first thought we were gonna use is going to be her middle name, so we’re like, ‘Let’s not stress over this anymore.'”
Meanwhile, Hilary – who already has six-year-old son Luca from her marriage to Mike Comrie – previously admitted she is finding this pregnancy “hard as hell”.
She wrote on Instagram: “The boobs are big the belly is big the body is big. Man.. pregnancy is hard. Giving love to all mamas who make it look effortless… this journey is hard as hell and also incredibly special. Lovely to have a little life inside and to day dream of all the new adventures to come buuuut almost impossible to get my own shoes on..sick of getting up 9 times a night to pee and looking at this weird body in the mirror that is not my own at the moment. Dua Lipa: Social media made break-up worse

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa says social media made her break-up worse.
The 23-year-old singer split from model Isaac Carew in 2017 after two years of dating and while they recently rekindled their romance, Dua admitted their initial break-up was made even more difficult because of her fame and social media.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “For example, dealing with a break up is hard enough, but dealing with it in the public eye is probably even harder.
“But also when people have no idea what’s going on and they message you and all you can think of is that they have no clue. But what can you do?”
Now Dua rarely uses social media and often deletes the apps from her phone entirely to give herself a break.
She said: “I really don’t think I’ll ever get used to people commenting on my private life, so I’m just taking it step by step.
“It’s a lot of removing myself from social media and taking breaks from it here and there.
“That’s been quite helpful. I’ll delete the app for a few days, then download it again, then I’ll delete it again.”
While her personal life is better than ever, Dua also feels more confident in her professional life.
She said: “I feel like I’ve grown up a lot touring. Every night getting up on stage and learning more about myself.
“Learning how not to be afraid and just get up and dance – not to be shy.”

Simon Cowell’s X Factor bidding war

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell is at the centre of a bidding war for ‘The X Factor’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
The music mogul claims that his TV shows have attracted interest from three top broadcasters so he is not worried if ITV decide to axe them when their contract expires in 2019.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Well to be honest with you it’s really difficult. I’ve got three offers on the table this month from broadcasters who want to do a deal on this show and on Britain’s Got Talent.
“I mean they are proven brands and they bring in the right audience so that has never been an issue.
“We’ve turned down bigger deals in the past but all I’m saying is we know the audience it brings in and what it looks like in advertising.
“But funnily enough, I have never been concerned about not getting a new deal. My concern is more of a personal thing to make sure the audience don’t get bored with it.
“Luckily the public still like these shows and they’ve liked them for longer than we ever thought. We’ve never had a problem selling the show.”
Simon, 58, also revealed he has no plans to retire.
He said: “Oh forget it. No, I mean the good thing is the shows do well, they’re fun, and they’re producing talent, which is the most important thing. So why would you walk away from that? I wouldn’t.
“Certainly now with Louis (Tomlinson) and Robbie (Williams) we will definitely work on more things together as partners.
“And then, when my son Eric is at an age where he learns enough and wants to do it, but knows these people are friends, he will do.
“That’s always what I’ve wanted my company to be — that’s definitely my long-term plan.”

Cats gets December 2019 release date

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Cats’ will be released on December 20, 2019.
The movie adaptation of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical will take ‘Wicked’s release date, with a new slot for the ‘Wizard of Oz’ re-telling to be announced soon.
Taylor Swift, James Corden, Sir Ian McKellen and Jennifer Hudson are to star in the ‘Cats’ movie.
The ‘Delicate’ hitmaker, ‘The Late Late Show’ host, ‘Lord of the Rings’ actor and ‘Spotlight’ singer lead the all-star cast for the new adaptation of Lloyd Webber’s award-winning musical based on ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’ by T. S. Eliot.
Jennifer – who won an Oscar in 2007 for her breakout role in ‘Dreamgirls’ – has taken on the prominent role of Grizabella, also known as ‘The Glamour Cat’, and will be lending her powerhouse vocals of the musical’s standard ‘Memory’.
Taylor, James and Ian’s characters are being kept under wraps for the time being.
Other parts include Old Deuteronomy, Macavity, Skimbleshanks and the Rum Tum Tugger.
‘The King’s Speech’ helmer Tom Hooper is directing with the help of screenwriter Lee Hall (‘Billy Eliot).
The team behind 2012’s ‘Les Miserables’ are producing the film alongside Tom, who has been working on the adaptation for two years.
‘Cats’ was first performed in 1981, and follows the tale of a tribe of felines named Jellicles, who have to decide which of them should go to the mystical Heaviside Layer to be reborn.
The much-loved musical is the sixth longest-running show in West End history, and fourth longest in Broadway history.

Troye Sivan wants Taylor Swift collaboration

OHMYGOSSIP — Troye Sivan wants to collaborate with Taylor Swift.
The 23-year-old star has just released his new album ‘Bloom’ and he has revealed his dream collaborator is “master of pop” Taylor, who he has performed with in the past.
He told Variety: “I may as well reach for the stars: Taylor Swift would be really cool. We [already] performed live. And I admire her so much as a writer. So even if we didn’t duet and we just wrote together, I would be totally into that idea – so I could watch her work. She’s a master of pop.”
Troye is also a huge fan of Sam Smith, calling him a “timeless act”.
He said: “Sam is such an incredible artist and to me, he’s kind of a timeless act that will be around long after he’s gone. The biggest difference is that we make completely different music. I’m out here trying to make pop music and he’s writing these super-heartfelt, big, classic kind of ballads. I get the comparison because we’re both openly gay – and there are few and far between openly gay artists in the industry – but other than that, I don’t think we’re trying to do the same thing.”
Troye revealed his first album ‘Blue Neighbourhood’ in 2015 and says there is a huge difference between the tone of his debut record and ‘Bloom’.
He said: “With my first album I felt the need to educate people a little more. I wanted to hold the hand of someone who isn’t queer and gently ease them into a queer love story that was super-PG. This time around, I wanted to write music for people like me – honest music. And real music.
“It feels like a bold statement – to be able to sum up my life and where I’m at, and who I am as a musician and as a writer, in 10 songs. That felt interesting to me and like a challenge.”

Roxanne Pallett left CBB over ‘sensitive issues’

OHMYGOSSIP — Roxanne Pallett deliberated for two days before quitting ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The 35-year-old actress walked out of the ‘CBB’ house following a dramatic few days in which she has been blasted for accusing housemate Ryan Thomas of “assault” after a play fight and her representatives insist the star thought carefully about her decision.
Her rep said in a statement: “Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about. ‘She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.”
It has been claimed that Roxanne – who was one of the show’s highest paid stars ever with a fee of £750,000 – could also be set to lose her money after walking out.
Former co-star Jermaine Pennant told the remaining contestants: “The thing is if you leave you don’t get your fee.”
Before Roxanne quit, her fellow housemates predicted that she would walk out of the house.
Dan Osborne said: “She’s been caught out and she must know she is part of the reason that Ben Jardin’s gone. And also you can hear everyone shouting get Roxanne out – like come on.”
Gabby Allen added: “Yeah, you don’t want to leave to that do you?”
After he was evicted on Friday’s (31.08.18) show, Ben insisted he didn’t regret the “closeness” he had with Roxanne in the house, or the attraction he felt for the actress, who is engaged to steelworker Lee Walton.
He said: “I don’t regret anything that happened between me and Roxanne. People have always said ‘calm down Ben’, she just said ‘keep going Ben’. She brought the best out of me. I live like that myself.
“I was in a relationship for 13 years and she went off with another man, I don’t want to be that guy. Yeah, you’re in a magnified situation and there was a genuine attraction there but remember she is an engaged woman. I just don’t want to be that guy.”

Kim Woodburn storms off Loose Women set after slamming Coleen Nolan

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Woodburn stormed off set during an appearance on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (29.08.18) after slamming rival Coleen Nolan as “trash”.
The 76-year-old television presenter appeared on the ITV talk show to discuss her longstanding feud with Coleen, which originated when they both appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in early 2017, where Kim accused Coleen of bullying and being “two faced”.
And whilst the meeting on the show was scheduled to bury the hatchet between them, things became heated when Kim branded the singer as a “con artist” and said she would “never forget” the alleged bullying that took place in the house.
When asked if she would draw a line under their feud, Kim raged: “She did it, didn’t she? And I don’t want to draw a line under it. I will never forget what the likes of her and the seven others put me through. I’ll never forget it. Never. It was sad and awful and it was bloody cruel.
“I lose my temper but I’ve got a good heart and soul. She sits there, she’s hard as nails. She’s a con artist. I wouldn’t want to sit and talk to lying trash like you. You think what you like. She is trash. Anyone who can stand in a group of seven people and bully … you are such trash.”
Before walking away from the set, the former ‘How Clean is Your House?’ presenter became emotional as she spoke about her “brutal childhood”, which she claimed influenced how she felt whilst on the Channel 5 reality show.
She added: “I’m going to tell you something, and then I’m going to go. Lots of people have had miserable lives, not just me I’m not suggesting for one moment … we’ve all had problems and we always will.
“I had a very very sad childhood. I had a brutal childhood. Terrible. A brutal, rotten childhood. Terrible, I can’t describe what I went through. And I went in the ‘Big Brother’ house and all the memories of those years came back, the bullying they were doing to me. I was very upset in that house, and I pretended I wasn’t. I was terribly upset, they picked on me.”

Mrs. Doubtfire musical set for Broadway

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ is being turned into a Broadway musical.
The 1993 comedy movie starred the late Robin Williams alongside the likes of Sally Field and Pierce Brosnan, and theatre producers Fox Stage Productions and Kevin McCollum have now confirmed that the hit film is set to be transformed into a stage production.
McCollum and Bob Cohen of Fox Stage Productions said: “‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ is such a beloved story, both laugh-out-loud hilarious and extremely moving. Getting this team together and crafting ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ for the stage has been pure joy. We can’t wait to get into production.”
It’s been confirmed, too, that the musical will be written by John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick, with Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks set to direct the project.
However, casting news and dates for the show have yet to be announced.
The Chris Columbus-directed movie tells the story of a struggling actor, played by Williams, who loses custody of his children.
As a result, he decides to disguise himself as a Scottish nanny called Euphegenia Doubtfire in a bid to get closer to his kids.
Meanwhile, comedian Kevin Hart previously admitted he’d love to star in a ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ remake.
The Hollywood actor – who featured in ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ in 2017 – shared: “I’ll stay on the Robin Williams train and say that if I could jump into ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’.
“That was a very amazing performance on both ends for him. I think that’s one I’d love to get to play in.”

Cliff Richard duets with Olivia Newton-John on new album

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Cliff Richard has reunited with Olivia Newton-John for a duet on his first album of original material in 14 years.
The ‘Summer Holiday’ hitmaker – who has focused on covers since 2004’s ‘Something’s Goin’ On’ – has teamed up with the ‘Grease’ star and his long-time friend on the track ‘Everybody’s Someone’, their first recording together since 1995’s ‘Had To Be’.
Opening up about the decision to make the LP, ‘Rise Up’, Cliff, 77, said: “It was 14 years ago that I last made a record of original songs. That’s quite a gap and I thought that was behind me, I thought I’d never get the chance to do it again and there it is – ‘Rise Up’ is here.”
It has been 60 years this month since the singer’s debut single ‘Move It’ was released, and the veteran performer wants today’s audiences to not see his long career in the industry as a hinderance.
Explaining he thinks this could be the record which engages him with a wider audience, he added: “I loved singing every track. To have these great writers supplying me with their songs, is an honour! It has been put to me that a new audience might give me a ‘listen to’, and that is an exciting thought, and if they do and don’t like it they can buy something else.
“Give me a chance, that is all we can ask… close your eyes and tune in. My longevity should be considered a plus, not a drawback.”
Cliff – who has reunited with his ‘Devil Woman’ co-writers Terry Britten Graham Lyle on the record – hopes the collection of songs will help revive his career by appealing to young people.
He explained: “The songs are good as well, I’m so thrilled with it. I’m hoping it will be a revival for me … for someone who could be recognised by some of these younger people to be a valuable artist.
“I’m not messing around about it, it’s for real.
“And you should really close your eyes when you listen to new records, ’cause you don’t need to know how old I am. And I’m not going to tell you.”
The record, which features four of Cliff’s hits featuring The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, is released on November 23 via Warner Music.

Ed Sheeran found new documentary ‘hard to watch’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran found his new documentary ‘Songwriter’ “hard to watch”.
The 27-year-old singer released the documentary – which was created by his cousin Murray Cummings and details Ed’s creative process during the making on his latest album ‘Divide’ – on Apple Music on Tuesday (28.08.18), and has said he found it difficult to sit through because he could see that he had put on weight and stopped “giving a f**k” about his appearance when he was in the studio.
Speaking to Billboard’s Pop Shop podcast, Ed said: “I went from very skinny and in shape on tour, to just not really giving a f**k.
“That’s kind of weird to see, as an artist in the spotlight I like to give off the impression I don’t really care what people think what I look like but it’s nice to feel healthy and in shape. And you don’t want pictures like that out there.
“So capturing those moments of like, in the studio, in sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt and just looking really unhealthy with long hair, it’s kind of hard to watch that and be like, feel good about it, but I don’t know if I care that much because I’m alright now.”
Ed’s cousin Murray has dedicated the past year to producing the documentary based on his famous relative, and the ‘Perfect’ hitmaker insists there was no-one else he would have wanted to helm the project.
He added: “He spent a year making it and now it’s coming out. I definitely wouldn’t have let anyone else do it, definitely had to be somebody I was related too.”
Meanwhile, Murray revealed the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer’s writing style has changed massively since he started out.
The filmmaker said recently: “Ed’s style of how he writes has changed. I was extremely lucky to be filming him at this time where he changed from being quiet and writing stuff down with a pen of paper to actually singing stuff out loud as he writes it. You get to hear his thought process out loud which didn’t happen that often before this album. From a film standpoint it’s just really interesting to be able to hear what he’s thinking.
“Sometimes Ed would kind of forget what he had sung and then he would look at me and go ‘You filmed that, right?'”

Meek Mill to donate backpacks to school kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Meek Mill is set to donate over 6,000 backpacks to school students in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The 31-year-old rapper – who was released from prison earlier this year after serving five months of a two to four year sentence for violating the terms of his parole stemming from a drug and weapons conviction in 2008 – has joined forces with Puma, sports apparel Fanatics, United Legwear and Philadelphia’s luxury store Milano Di Rogue to deliver the important school supplies to students in the city.
Meek’s charitable deed will see the creation of three types of backpack – for elementary kids, middle school students, and high school students – and each will be packed with other supplies to kit them out just before school starts again in the coming weeks.
According to TMZ, the younger children will get sharpeners, rulers, glue sticks and crayons in their bags, whilst the high schoolers kits include dry erase markers, notebooks and pens.
The ‘Dangerous’ hitmaker – who was born in Philadelphia – says he knows how much families can struggle when it comes to funding school supplies, which prompted him to give back to his community.
He told TMZ: “Those memories stay with me and that’s why I’m committed to giving back to families in my hometown, putting smiles on kids’ faces and helping them start the school year on the right note with the right supplies.”
The publication also reports Meek is even planning on hand delivering some of the backpacks to students around the city on Wednesday (29.08.18).
The good deed comes after the rapper stepped down from attending the Prison Reform Summit held by President Donald Trump in May, because believed his presence may have “taken away” from the importance of the meeting.
He said at the time: “I was originally scheduled to be part of a panel on Prison Reform at the White House to help shed light on the issues within the system. Unfortunately, the focus turned to the President and Myself which concerned me that it might take away from creating a positive result from today’s discussions.
“As a result, I decided not to attend so that the focus would be solely on fixing our prison system. Most importantIy I remain fully committed to improving our criminal justice system.”

Dakota and Elle Fanning’s parents finalise divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Dakota and Elle Fanning’s parents have finalised their divorce.
Heather and Steven Fanning – who are the parents of the Hollywood stars – are now officially divorced after over 25 years of marriage, with documents seen by The Blast showing that their new status was confirmed on August 24.
The majority of the details about their settlement remain unknown as the duo opted for a private “marital settlement agreement”.
Court documents reportedly show that they have both waived the right to collect spousal support.
However, it remains unclear as to whether any money or assets were paid by either side as part of their settlement.
Neither party will be required to pay child support, though, as Dakota, 24, and Elle, 20, are both above the age limit.
Meanwhile, Dakota previously claimed that her parents – and her mother, in particular – ought to take much of the credit for her success.
The Hollywood star explained that her mother instilled in her the good habits she’s needed to become a successful actress.
Dakota shared: “My parents, even before I started doing this, were the kind of parents who expected a certain behaviour and focus in life.
“Manners were important and so was respect for adults: that was taught to me from birth. And that became a sense of professionalism, as I started to understand the decorum of movie sets: have respect for the people who are trying to help you.”
The actress – who has starred in hits such as ‘War of the Worlds’ and ‘Charlotte’s Web’ – said that her willingness to listen and absorb information as a child has served her well in the movie business.
She explained: “When you’re a kid, you are so impressionable. And you’re soaking up the focus of the set.”

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress to feature in new exhibition

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress will form the centrepiece of a new royal exhibition at Windsor Castle.
The 37-year-old Duchess – who was known as Meghan Markle prior to marrying Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May – wore a Clare Waight Keller-designed Givenchy gown for her wedding day, and the outfit is now set to go on display at the iconic royal residence from October.
The exhibition – which will run through until January – will also feature the Duchess’ veil and the platinum bandeau tiara that was lent to her by the Queen.
An identical uniform to that worn by Prince Harry on his wedding day will also feature as part of the exhibition.
A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will subsequently be moved to the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, where it will be exhibited from June next year.
In May, Clare revealed she wanted Meghan’s wedding dress to reflect her personality, describing the former actress as “warm, radiant and a really strong woman”.
She shared: “I aimed for a very modern and fresh design, just like I find Meghan to be, so I really wanted to represent her. I wanted her to feel absolutely incredible in the dress and, also, I wanted her to feel like it was absolutely right for the occasion.
“Meghan is genuine, warm, radiant and a really strong woman. She knows what she wants and, really, it was an absolute joy working with her. I believe part of the simplicity and modernity of this dress is the fabric, a double silk cady.”
Clare relished the experience of collaborating with the royal, admitting it’s something she’ll carry with her for the rest of her life.
She said: “I hadn’t met her before this process, but I have always admired her and her vision of the world, especially through her work with the UN.
“We very strongly connected, and I loved getting to know her on a personal level. I will carry the experience with me forever.”
