OHMYGOSSIP — The BBC is extending the ‘Bodyguard’ finale by 15 minutes.
The hugely popular drama – which stars Keeley Hawes and Richard Madden as Home Secretary Julia Montague and her personal protection officer, David Budd, respectively – will get a longer run time on Sunday night (09.09.18) to ensure the programme gets a suitable and exciting send-off.
The change in schedule means ‘News at 10’ will be bumped from its usual starting time.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Giving an episode of any drama series more than a 60-minute slot is a rare event on the BBC, so this proves just how much they value ‘Bodyguard’.
“Viewers are unlikely to complain, given that the audience response tends to be that they’ve usually been left wanting more every time.
“This should ensure that Bodyguard’s climax is unforgettable, particularly as the tension has been continually rising over the last three episodes.”
The series has proved to be a hit with viewers, and 42-year-old star Keeley previously revealed how she felt comfortable insisting on equal pay for the drama.
She said: “Certainly, five years ago, I wouldn’t have felt like I was in a position to say, ‘I want the same as my male counterpart’.
“Because I would have been worried about losing the job.
“And then I would think, ‘I want to work and I want to pay my mortgage’.
“But now, I do think businesses and corporations that we work for seem to be taking it very seriously.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gabby Allen has been romantically linked to ‘X Factor’ winner Myles Stephenson.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate is said to have met the singer – who won the talent show with Rak-Su last year – through mutual friends, but it is “early days” between the rumoured couple.
A source told The Sun Online: “It’s early days between Gabby and Myles but they really like each other. They went on some fun dates before she went into the house and said they’d see each other again when she’s out.
“He treated Gabby like a princess. Gabby’s a gorgeous girl and Myles is a good looking bloke so they make a lovely couple. Everyone hopes they’ll get together properly when CBB is over.”
The ‘Love Island’ beauty recently told her former ‘CBB’ housemate Chloe Ayling she was seeing someone outside the reality show digs.
Her blossoming romance comes after she revealed to housemates last night (06.09.18) that she had dumped fellow ‘Love Island’ star Marcel Somerville by text.
She added: “I told him to ‘Go and f**k yourself!’ ”
Gabby claimed her ex – who she met on the dating show in 2017 – had cheated on her, and left her devastated by his actions.
While admitting she chose to end the relationship over a text message, she also added that she decided to avoid him while suspecting he might try to visit her in an attempt to make amends.
Instead of waiting, she went up to Scotland for a public appearance.
Marcel previously admitted he will “always regret” cheating on Gabby.
He said: “You do certain things and certain things happen, and you’re always going to regret them. I’m a big believer in positive energy. When there are negative vibes going around, all you’ve got to pull yourself out of it. Positive vibes. I am very much single at the moment, darling.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell has hinted he will ask Jason Orange to fill in for Robbie Williams on ‘The X Factor’.
The show boss might approach the ‘Angels’ hitmaker’s former Take That bandmate to temporarily replace him on the judging panel when Robbie heads to South America on tour – which was arranged before he signed up to the talent show panel – but Simon admitted choosing another panellist is “an issue”.
When asked who will be stepping in for Robbie, Simon confirmed Sharon Osbourne will be a “fifth judge”, and added: “I was just thinking about this the other day – so what are we going to do? Jason?”
Robbie then joked: “Jason Orange? Good luck getting him to work.”
Simon laughed, and then said: “That [replacing Robbie] is going to be an issue.”
Robbie admitted he his “genuinely gutted” about taking a break from the programme, and insisted he wouldn’t be going if he hadn’t already arranged the South America leg of his ‘The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour’.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “I’m gutted that I’ve got to go. Genuinely, genuinely gutted that I’ve got to go. It was all booked in before. I’m going to go off and do a few gigs in South America.
“I’m looking forward to going down there because I haven’t been there forever, but if I’d have known it wouldn’t be happening, put it that way. I’m going to miss the show.”
Robbie recently admitted he has enjoyed being a judge on ‘The X Factor’ – alongside his wife Ayda Field, Louis Tomlinson, and Simon – more than anything he’s ever done in showbusiness before.
He said: “The amazing thing is, since I started to do the show I can’t believe I haven’t done it before. I’m having the best time in showbusiness that I’ve ever had full stop.
“I’ve been doing the wrong job for 25 years!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Black wants to make a ‘Nacho Libre’ sequel.
The 49-year-old actor and comedian would love to make a follow up to the 2006 comedy drama, in which he stars in the titular role.
Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, he confessed: “I’ve always wanted to do another ‘Nacho Libre.'”
The film follows Ignacio, or Nacho to his friends, who works as a cook in a Mexican monastery, and after needing money to feed orphans he decides to raise money for the children by moonlighting as a Lucha Libra wrestler who disguises his identity.
Meanwhile, Jack has interesting memories from the shooting of the first movie and recently confessed that he pooped in a field while filming the movie – and the whole cast and crew were watching.
He said: “I was on ‘Nacho Libre’ in Mexico and I got a little bit of ‘Montezuma’s revenge’. I had a little attack in the middle of a scene. I said ‘where’s the nearest restroom?’ They said ‘OK. If you just jump in a van, we’ll take you back to set, and that’s where the honey wagons are with the restrooms’.
“I just ran because I knew I wasn’t getting into a van. I just ran into a field nearby. But everyone from the crew could see me. There was no hiding. So basically I had to relieve myself in front of a crew of 72 people, with my trusty assistant handing my paper. It was very horrifying.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Arterton is to star in a Dusty Springfield biopic.
The ‘Quantum of Solace’ star will take on the lead role in a new film about the singer’s life, as she undertakes a political trip to Memphis in 1968.
She said: “I have been an admirer of Dusty Springfield since I was a teenager: her effortless husky voice, the way she conveyed emotion through music, how she helped bring Motown to the UK. Dusty was ahead of her time in many ways and inspired so many future artists. She was generous, witty, mercurial, shy, extroverted and a true English eccentric. I simply cannot wait to play her.”
The film – called ‘So Much Love’ – will be penned and directed by Phyllis Nagy, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2016 for her screenplay for ‘Carol’, whilst Number 9 Films will produce. Filming is set to take place in the UK and US in early 2019, with the film expected to be released in autumn 2019.
An official synopsis reads: “It will follow her as she navigates her way through the politics of the recording studio and the city, and will also explore her encounter with the music of Motown, her stand against apartheid policies during her aborted South African tour and her thorny brushes with men in the music industry.”
And Nagy is looking forward to taking the helm of a movie about Springfield, who she described as “an innovative, brilliant artist and a complex, contradictory woman”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Lively’s ring for ‘A Simple Favour’ was inspired by the late Princess Diana.
The 31-year-old actress’ alter ego Emily Nelson wears an eye-catching diamond-and-sapphire band that used to belong to her mother-in-law in the thriller and it was a “take” on that given to the late royal by Prince Charles when they got engaged – and which was given to Duchess Catherine by their son Prince William on their engagement – because director Paul Feig wanted a traditional piece that jarred with the fashion publicist’s usual style.
Costume designer, Renée Ehrlich Kalfus explained to People magazine: “It’s a take on Princess Diana’s ring…I wanted to do something vintage, but the director thought it should be more on the nose.”
The ring serves as an important plot point in the new drama, which follows Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s sudden disappearance.
When it came to Emily’s wardrobe, Renee drew inspiration from the movie’s own director in order to kit out Blake’s character.
She explained: “Paul goes to work every day in a Savile Row suit. He feels he can get anyone to answer anything while wearing a suit.”
And as well as her diamond-and-sapphire ring, the businesswoman has a lot of unusual jewellery from men’s collections to wear with her Ralph Lauren suits.
Renee explained: “It gave her more armour, more stuff to keep people away.”
Renee relied on Blake’s own contacts when it came to sourcing spectacular footwear for the character.
She said: “Because Blake has a relationship with Louboutin, we got boxes and boxes of boots, loafers, and heels.
“Blake had to run in them and she was like, ‘It’s fine, I can do this.’ ”

The ‘Smile’ hitmaker has revealed she has been relying on Pornhub – a free pornographic video sharing website – to get her fix of erotic movies because she enjoys watching females have orgasms.
Speaking on KIIS FM’s ‘Will and Woody’ on Thursday (06.09.18), she said: “I’ve been watching those things on Pornhub for years.”

The ‘Not Fair’ hitmaker announced in 2016 that she had filed for divorce from Sam after a year of speculation, and they officially finalised things this year.
Lily previously admitted she had considered turning to heroin when her marriage broke down, but instead used sex to “fill the void”.
She explained: “I was so sick, I said to my therapist: ‘Maybe it is time to try heroin.’ I know heroin is really the end of the line. But I have toyed with the idea before.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pippa Middleton doesn’t want to develop the “penguin-style waddle” in the final weeks of her pregnancy.
The 35-year-old socialite and author – who is the sister of Duchess Catherine – has less than a month left until she’s due to give birth to her and her husband James Matthews’ first child and she has admitted she’s been relying on barre-inspired workouts because she doesn’t want to start plodding around.
Writing in her column for Waitrose Weekend, she said: “I feel far from a ballerina, but I’m equally determined not to break into a penguin-style waddle and plod around with bad posture. So with this in mind, I’ve continued to embrace barre-inspired workouts throughout pregnancy — a form of exercise taken from ballet which involves the small movements that develop flattering muscle tone or so I hope.”
The brunette beauty has managed to stay active throughout her pregnancy thus far but she did decide to give up running because she wanted to give her unborn child and body a rest from the strain.
She explained: “I stopped running — not because I read it was unsafe, just because I rather liked the idea of giving my body (and growing baby) a rest from pavement pounding.
“I’m conscious of holding my tummy in (as if giving your baby a hug) to support my back and ensure that post-baby, my old favourite jeans will still fit… eventually.”
As well as ballet, Pippa has been relying on swimming to help keep herself fit throughout her pregnancy.
She said recently: “Swimming throughout pregnancy offers a wonderful feeling of weightlessness.
“As the months pass, you feel heavier by the day, but being in water gives that floating, light-as-air feeling that soothes and relieves the body, counteracts increased back strain and stretches the legs from the growing bump. It’s non-impact, gentle and relaxing.
“From personal experience, I’d confidently say I find it has been the most enjoyable and rewarding form of exercise since I found out I was expecting. It’s comforting to know that it’s safe throughout pregnancy, and you don’t need to adapt and change too much (unlike most other sports).
“It’s so good for you that you could swim every day – as long as you don’t overexert yourself – right up until the end of the third trimester.”
Pippa got engaged back in July 2016 and tied the knot with James in May 2017 at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, followed by a reception at her family home.

The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star gave birth to her daughter True, whom she has with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson, in April and she has admitted, although she’s not where she wants to be in terms of fitness at the moment, she feels good in her own skin and isn’t afraid to get into a bikini.
Writing on her app KhloeKardashian.com, she said: “My entire life I have never been a bathing suit girl. I don’t know if I’ll ever feel good in a swimsuit–I’ve just never been that comfortable wearing one! When we were recently on vacation in Mexico, I think the only thing that made me take off my cover-up is that I had to get in the water because of the heat, LOL.
“Since having True, my body is just different and not the same whatsoever. I’m not at my goal yet, but I’m also not insecure about it. My body just is my body right now–and I feel really confident and beautiful!
“I definitely want to hit my fitness goal because I love being healthy and I want a fit life to keep up with True and to show her how to be active and set a healthy example, but I have other priorities at the moment.
“I still work out and I try to eat healthy, but my life is about the baby then work.”
However, the 34-year-old beauty has found tiredness a struggle.
She said: “I don’t work out as hard as I used to before I was pregnant. Either way, I’m taking my time and refocusing my priorities. Fitness is super important in my life, so I want that me time. But I’m proud I’m doing it a slow but steady way.”

The 49-year-old singer’s two-part miniseries ‘The Bobby Brown Story’ – which gave fans an insight into his marriage with the late Whitney Houstin, his secret relationship with Janet Jackson and his life with wife Alicia Etheredge – hit televisions earlier this week but, although he was happy with the way he was portrayed, his sibling Leolah Brown Muhammad is fuming with the documentary.
Taking to her Facebook account, the 54-year-old star fumed: “THE FAKEST MOVIE I EVER SEEN! THAT IS NOT ALICIA!
“Paleeeeeeeez! Spare me that laugh! Such a liar! I’m wondering what is the motive for all this? I read well though… and trust I’m not dumb! Listen, Alicia if you think for one minute that you are going to kill my brother and get away with it guess what? All I can say is you better stay prayed up! (sic)”
Leolah then went on to claim Alicia – who has kids Cassius and Bodhi with Bobby – hates her family and allegedly blocked Bobby from giving his mother money.
She ranted: “Bobby why did you let Alicia lie like that in that movie and say she welcomed your whole family into her life!!!???
“And this bitch literally without a little exaggeration hates for absolutely no reason every single person that carries your blood!!!!??? Aaaaaaand she wouldn’t even allow you to give your own mother $17.00 dam dollars to pay for your mothers medicine she needed at the dam pharmacy?!

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Lawson helped ‘Coronation Street’ newcomer Hannah Ellis Ryan to feel “more comfortable” on set after he arranged to meet her before her first day.
The ‘Corrie’ veteran, who will reprise his role as no-nonsense Jim McDonald tonight (07.09.18), contacted the actress – who has joined the ITV soap as Jim and Liz McDonald’s (Beverley Callard) daughter Katie – so they could have a chat before she started filming on the cobbles.
She said: “It’s no exaggeration to say that everyone at Corrie is wonderful. Charlie rang me a few days after I’d been cast so that we could meet and chat a bit before that first day.
“It’s a very fast-paced environment and there isn’t a lot of time for chit-chat in between takes, so I felt more comfortable, thanks to Charlie, than I may have otherwise.
“The set is so warm and encouraging, all the directors were wonderful – as are all the actors – so I honestly just felt like part of the family straight away.”
Theatre actress Hannah will make her TV debut in ‘Corrie’ and when the star is not acting she works in the bar and box office at Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre.
She has been left “shocked” at a recent debate about actors having other day jobs, admitting she is quite happy pulling pints in the theatre bar when she is not learning lines.
Speaking to website I Love Manchester, Hannah added: “To be honest, I’m shocked it’s a debate. There are many old jokes about acting. ‘I’m an actor’ ‘Cool. What café do you work in?’ and many more.
“We all know that acting is a difficult industry where you can be in work one day and out the next.
“I’m appalled that anyone could shame an actor for being out of work and having to earn in another industry. Some of the most talented people I’ve ever met are yet to book a professional job.
“And many of us have multiple passions also – I’m lucky that I still have my job at Hope Mill Theatre, where I still merrily pull pints and work on box office. That is a true actor’s life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — David Easter has hinted Hollyoaks’ Marnie and James Nightingale could fall foul of his character’s “revenge”.
The 58-year-old actor will reprise his role as evil Mac Nightingale in the coming episodes, and he has dropped a huge hint that he may not be shooting too many more scenes with his alter-ego’s wife and son – played by Lysette Anthony and Gregory Finnegan – admitting the Nightingales are “terrified” of him.
He said: “The family are in complete turmoil over his return! They are terrified that he could be out for revenge.
“I love doing scenes with Greg and Lysette. They are awesome. I have no doubt we will be filming lots of scenes together in the future … or will we?”
While Mac’s family aren’t pleased he is back after he miraculously recovered from locked-in syndrome, David is delighted to have returned to filming.
He added: “It’s fantastic to be back! I love playing the bad man, it’s so much more fun. It’s the return of the Mac!”
And while David has hinted at revenge, he also admitted Mac is keen to get his life back on track on the village.
He added: “The village is his life, he loves many people there. He wants to claim back his old life and everything he’s lost.
“I’m sure that Mac desperately wants to change his ways, get the pub back, and to make amends with his family … but the question is, can he?”
Mac was diagnosed with locked-in syndrome after his daughter Ellie Nightingale (Sophie Porley) pushed him out of the window at The Dog In The Pond at the end of last year.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Academy are shelving plans to bring in a new Popular Film category ahead of the 2019 Oscars.
In a Board of Governors meeting last month, members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences voted for a new Outstanding Achievement in Popular Film category – which bosses hoped to bring in for the 2019 ceremony – but the plans have now been shelved until at least 2020.
Academy CEO Dawn Hudson confirmed in a statement: “The Academy recognised that implementing any new award nine months into the year creates challenges for films that have already been released. The Board of Governors continues to be actively engaged in discussions, and will examine and seek additional input regarding this category. There has been a wide range of reactions to the introduction of a new award, and we recognise the need for further discussion with our members. We have made changes to the Oscars over the years – including this year – and we will continue to evolve while also respecting the incredible legacy of the last 90 years.”
Whilst the plans have been shelved for the time being, the Academy are keen to get the new category implemented as soon as possible.
Hudson added: “The idea that we were trying to honour excellence across a wider scope of movies was not completely understood when we announced this. We heard feedback from our members that we needed to take more time. We felt we needed further study, without abandoning the principle … Over the years we’ve narrowed our scope of movies that we are honouring for excellence. When we announce our nominees in January, a lot of films are not accessible to film lovers around the world. They’re just not in theatres. We want the Oscars to evolve. We want to be relevant to and engage with our audience of film fans.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Philip visited the set of ‘King Of Thieves’.
The movie’s stars Paul Whitehouse and Ray Winstone have revealed that the Duke of Edinburgh made a surprise visit to the set of the movie, which follows the story of the Hatton Garden heist, where £14 million was stolen in London’s jewellery quarter when a group of thieves drilled a hole into the wall of a vault in 2015.
Sharing information about meeting the royal, Whitehouse said: “Prince Philip came to visit us on set one day. We were filming in Windsor.”
Whilst his co-star Ray Winstone added: “He pulled up in a car and the window went down on the Range Rover and he said ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘We’re making a film, Sir’. I said, ‘Yes, with Sir Tom Courtenay and Sir Michael Caine, would you like to meet them?’ And he went, ‘No.'”
Winstone is starring in the movie as his childhood friend Daniel Jones – who is currently serving a seven year jail sentence for his part in the robbery – and he visited his pal in prison before accepting the role.
Speaking on The Jonathon Ross Show, he said: “I went to school with him. I sat next to him at school. We actually sat next to one another at school. I wanted to go and visit him before we did the film, not to find out anything about him because I knew about him. But out of respect really, to let him know I was playing him and find out how he felt about me playing him. Physically, we are not the same. He’s a very fit boy.
“I went to visit him a couple of times. I think Dan had a really tough life at home, a tough upbringing. I was very lucky, I had a great home life as a kid and it just wasn’t in me. Some things are in you, some things aren’t … When you grow up around people that you know have been criminals or been brutes in their life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lenny Kravitz has lamented the lack of “musicianship” on modern records.
The 54-year-old singer plays guitar, bass, drums, piano, bongos, glockenspiel, Moogsynthesiser, sitar, and kalimba on is new LP ‘Raise Vibration’, which he thinks is a huge contrast to many digitally-created tracks that focus on “style and fashion” over “substance”.
He said: “Most people are making records by sampling stuff and taking sounds out of boxes and computers.
“There are so many records that don’t have any instruments on them at all. It’s all about style and fashion, and not so much substance.
“There’s not so much musicianship, which is the way I like to work. I like to hold an instrument in my hands, and play it, and put my personality in it.”
The ‘American Woman’ hitmaker was just seven years old when he decided he wanted to be a musician after being wowed by a Jackson 5 concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
He recalled to the I newspaper: “I was seven years old, but I remember the show completely.
“It made me want to do what it is that I do.”
And years later, Lenny got the chance to work with Michael Jackson – who died in June 2009 – as well as other musical greats such as Sir Mick Jagger and the late David Bowie and Prince, and he will always feel lucky to have been able to collaborate with some many of his “heroes”.
He said: “There I was working with the person who started the whole thing for me.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many of my heroes. It’s wonderful. My path was laid out with so many amazing artists who gave me my education.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John has announced the first UK dates of his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour.
The ‘Rocket Man’ singer announced earlier this year that he is stepping away from live performing to spend more time with his family, and it’s now been revealed that fans in Wales and southern England, as well as Ireland, will be able to catch his final shows next June.
Elton will perform at Hove’s Central County Ground on June 9, before flying out to Dublin for two shows at the 3Arena on June 12 and 13, and returning for a fourth gig at Cardiff’s City Stadium on June 15.
He said of the dates: “I am very happy to announce the launch of my UK ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour with concerts in Hove and Cardiff.
“The audiences in the South Coast and Wales have always been some of the most welcoming and exciting I have played in front of over the past forty-two years and the band and I are so excited to say goodbye in the most fantastic way. It’s going to be amazing!”
Pre-sale tickets for the gigs go on sale early next week, ahead of general sale on September 14.
Elton – who has sons Zachary, seven, and Elijah, five with his husband David Furnish – previously admitted he’s embarking on his three-year tour then quitting performing because his kids will always come first.
He said: ” want to make sure I’m there for my kids because they make me so happy. Every morning when I see them they make me beam… I’m going to make sure those kids have the best, best, best childhood.
“If I had to choose between music and my children, there’s only one winner, and that’s my children. I just want to be with them.”
And the 71-year-old star is planning to bring the boys on tour because he can’t bear to be separated from them for too long.
He explained: “They’re going to come with me on a segment of the tour with a tutor so they can see different places – it’s all about them now.”
