Iggy Azalea reveals her relationship confusion

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea can’t understand couples who don’t make time for each other.
The 28-year-old rap star has taken to her Twitter account to admit she can’t comprehend the mindset of people who are in a relationship, but don’t appear to make any effort to spend quality time with their partner.
Iggy – who has previously dated the likes of ASAP Rocky and basketball star Nick Young – wrote on the micro-blogging website: “Couples that are unable to dedicate any amount of time to simply being alone together weird me out. do you actually LIKE each other or nah? (sic)”
Iggy’s statement comes shortly after she admitted she experienced “crazy anxiety” when people started speculating she was dating Jimmy Butler.
The ‘Kream’ hitmaker set tongues wagging when she was spotted looking cosy with the basketball player in a car park in Malibu, but she’s insisted they’re not together and revealed she feels an overwhelming sense of paranoia when her fans start commenting on her love life.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the Australian star fumed: “Can we please stop saying every man who is single you see me standing next to is someone I’m on a date with? S**t is corny and super annoying! The whole thing gives me crazy anxiety & makes me feel like I can’t have normal in passing conversations with people because everything ends up being some “story” for the internet. (sic)”
Prior to that, Iggy split from NFL star DeAndre Hopkins and subsequently predicted on Twitter that she’d remain single “forever”.
She wrote: “I’m single … I have come to the conclusion iam going to be alone forever. I am completely fine with that. I have a routine now. watch movies alone in the shower n s**t… its nice. (sic)”

Paul McCartney ‘can’t release a pop album because of Beyonce and Taylor Swift’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney has joked he can’t make a pop album because Beyonce and Taylor Swift have “got that covered”.
The 76-year-old icon has just released his 17th solo studio album, ‘Egypt Station’, and he’s explained why he’s chosen to go down the route of making a “concept” record, rather than a pop album.
During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Paul said: “We figured we can’t really do the modern pop album, where it’s like just a bunch of singles.
“I mean people like Taylor Swift and Beyonce have got that kind of thing covered.”
He added, jokingly: “They’ve got better legs than me. Just.”
Meanwhile, Paul recently insisted he doesn’t think Yoko Ono’s “intrusive” nature caused the breakdown of The Beatles.
Many fans of the band have blamed John Lennon’s widow for their split, but Paul suggested she was only so involved because of the couple’s love for each other.
He said: “Even though we thought she was intrusive because she used to sit in on the recording sessions and we’d never had anything like that.
“But looking back on it, you think, ‘The guy was totally in love with her. And you’ve just got to respect that.’ So we did. And I do.”
Paul also opened up on the moment John – who was tragically murdered in 1980 – told his bandmates he had decided to leave the band.
The chart-topping star suggested the other members of the group – which included George Harrison and Ringo Starr – had reached a point in their lives whereby they felt it was time to move on from the The Beatles, although they didn’t realise it at the time.
He said: “There was a meeting where John came in and said, ‘I’m leaving the group.’ And looking back on it, he’d reached that stage in his life. We all had.”

Hardeep Singh Kohli is evicted from Celebrity Big Brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Hardeep Singh Kohli has been evicted from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 49-year-old TV presenter has become the latest contestant to leave the Channel 5 show after losing a head-to-head vote against Sally Morgan.
After leaving the house, Hardeep admitted: “It’s massively emotional … I don’t know what’s been shown obviously, but for me, it’s been such an honour to be associated with such a television institution.”
During his time in the house, Hardeep clashed with a number of the contestants, including the likes of Natalie Nunn, Ryan Thomas and Sally.
And the presenter admitted he’d found the experience to be physically and emotionally draining, likening the house to a war zone.
Hardeep said: “I’m more tired today than I’ve ever been in my life. I’ve been in war zones. I’ve been through border crossings with machine guns to my head, but Dan’s muscles threw me!”
Hardeep conceded he can be a divisive character at times, but he also thinks the house and the show benefited from his presence.
He quipped: “Some people say I’m an incendiary hand-grenade of opinions. You have to have characters like me, otherwise you wouldn’t have Friday night shows for evictions.”
Asked what he’d learned from his time on the show, he added: “What have I learned? No matter how good you are, there’s always room to improve.”
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ continues on Saturday (September 8) at 10pm on Channel 5.

Prince Harry and Meghan are ‘eager to start a family’

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are reportedly “eager to start a family”.
The 33-year-old Prince and the former ‘Suits’ actress – who tied the knot at St Geroge’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May – are currently focused on their public service, but in the long-term, they both have ambitions to start a family.
An insider explained: “They wanted to hit the ground running after their marriage to focus on their charitable interests and Meghan is really looking forward to representing Her Majesty on her first major Commonwealth tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.”
Meghan, 37, retired from acting prior to her wedding, but she’s relishing the challenge of her new role.
The source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “She really is taking the new job part of her role seriously having meetings with Palace staff and learning about the Commonwealth so she can support Harry in his new role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.”
Despite their jam-packed schedules, the loved-up couple are already looking forward to the prospect of becoming parents.
The insider added: “Harry is tactile and protective of his new wife. He is completely besotted and nothing would make him happier if they were starting a family.”
Last month, it was reported that Meghan felt “absolutely broken” by the drama created by her father Thomas Markle.
Thomas, 74, didn’t attend Meghan’s wedding earlier this year, but he has been outspoken about his daughter and her relationship with Prince Harry.
A source previously said: “Meghan is absolutely broken by the drama with her father. There’s no way she can have a relationship with him or even reach out to him to stop him from speaking.
“She knows he’ll record the conversation and sell it. She has high anxiety wondering if this will go on forever.”

Cate Blanchett recalls surreal Prince Philip conversation

OHMYGOSSIP — Cate Blanchett and Prince Philip once discussed the British royal’s inability to operate his DVD player during a lunch.
The 49-year-old actress has revealed she sat next to the Prince at a lunch, where she expected to be asked about playing royalty in some of her film and TV roles – but she instead ended up talking about DVD players.
Cate recalled: “There were 12 of us, and I couldn’t work out for the life of me why I’d been invited. Playing Queen Elizabeth and sitting next to her, I thought, ‘Maybe she’s seen the movie and wants to ask me about my interpretation.'”
However, as it transpired, the Prince wasn’t entirely sure who Cate was.
She told ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’: “I sat next to him and he said, ‘I hear you’re an actor? I was given a DVD player for Christmas and I can’t work out whether I put the green cord in or the red cord…’
“I thought, ‘He’s invited me to lunch to tell me about his DVD player!'”
Meanwhile, Cate and her family recently moved to the UK from her native Australia because she wanted her children to grow up in a country that is more “benign”.
The award-winning actress – who has kids Dashiell, 16, Roman, 14, Ignatius, 10, and Edith, three – explained: “I just think that in my country you walk into a field and you’re going to be killed by some kind of snake or accosted by a huge [animal.] It’s much more benign here … pigs, chickens.”
Between acting and raising her kids, Cate is looking forward to catching up on novels she hasn’t read and pottering around in the garden.
She said: “I suppose that’s what I like about coming back here.
“There are so many books I haven’t read, so many films I haven’t watched, so many conversations I haven’t had, so many plants I haven’t planted … It’s important to sort of sit and think what could be next.”

Candice Swanepoel says raising two kids is ‘pretty intense’

OHMYGOSSIP — Candice Swanepoel admits raising two young children is “pretty intense”.
The 29-year-old model has admitted to being rushed off her feet trying to raise her kids Anaca, 23 months, and Ariel, 11 weeks – but the South African beauty is also relishing the challenge.
She said: “It’s pretty intense, but it’s amazing. To see the love between them is amazing. It’s a lot, I’m not gonna lie. The second one is a lot easier, but the situation of having two makes it harder.”
Despite the stresses, Candice – whose long-term partner is Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli – revealed that her daughter is already very well-behaved.
Speaking to People, she shared: “My second one is an angel. He’s like, ‘Mommy, I know you don’t need more stress.'”
Candice previously admitted that she wants to have a “bunch of kids” – but said she would leave her future in the hands of fate.
She shared: “I don’t plan too much into the future. I believe a lot in destiny and that what happens – you can try to manifest certain things, but I definitely do want to continue having a great career and building my family as well because I’m really loving that. Kellie Maloney feels safe in love

OHMYGOSSIP — Kellie Maloney’s new boyfriend makes her feel “comfortable and safe”.
The 64-year-old former boxing promoter – who lived as Frank Maloney for more than 50 years – is dating ex-soldier Jason Shaw, who she first met a year ago, and feels more “attractive” than ever before now she’s with him.
She said: “It’s happened naturally. He makes me feel so comfortable and safe.
“He compliments me all the time and has made me feel attractive again. He makes a great cup of tea too!”
Though Kellie – who has daughters Emma, 40, Sophie, 22, and 16-year-old Libby from her previous marriages – is very happy with Jason, she does worry about the age gap between them.
She said: “Our age gap does concern me – he’s 39 and I’m 64. But that’s me being old fashioned and thinking the man should be older. I’m young at heart and that’s what count.”
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star’s daughters were initially wary of her new romance, but they’re now pleased she’s found happiness, while she’s looking forward to meeting Jason’s friends and family.
She told Closer magazine: “I don’t know about Jason’s exes and it’s not relevant. I think he’s bisexual though.
“My children were wary at first, saying, ‘How do you know him?’ But they’re happy for me now.
“My eldest daughter has met him and they got on really well. My friends adore him too.
“I’ve had lovely messages from Jason’s friends and family on social media, and next month, when I’m in London, I’m going to grab coffee with his brother.”
The couple aren’t talking about marriage yet but they are looking to buy a home together.
Kellie said: “I want to buy a farm in Portugal and retire there. Jason and I have been looking at farms.
“Marriage is a bit of a stretch but if it works out for us, having Jason with me in Portugal would be a real plus.”

‘Strong’ Blake Lively praises husband

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Lively credits Ryan Reynolds for making her feel “strong and independent”.
The ‘Shallows’ actress – who has children James, three, and Ines, 23 months, with her spouse – thinks the “mutual trust and respect” between herself and the ‘Deadpool’ star has given their relationship a solid foundation.
She said: “Ryan makes me feel very strong and independent.
“He’s someone who has a great spirit and we have a very healthy relationship, which is both very profound and also light-hearted.
“And we also have that kind of mutual trust and respect, which is the basis of every good partnership.”
Despite their respective successful careers, the 30-year-old star and her 41-year-old spouse will always put their kids first, and they think that focus helps with their work too.
Blake told Closer magazine: “Wherever we go in the world on our adventure together, our family is our first priority.
“Work comes and goes but we value our private time together more than anything.
“Enjoying our time as a couple and being good parents to our children makes us happier and more confident, which allows us to do our best work without worrying about spending long hours on a film set.”
And Blake feels “very lucky” that Ryan is such a hands-on father.
She said:” I’m very lucky that Ryan is such a devoted father and shares all the domestic responsibilities with me.
“We never work at the same time either. I was with him in Vancouver while he was shooting ‘Deadpool 2’ last year.
“I look after the kids when he’s working then he takes care of them when I’m working.
“When we’re at home we’re like any other couple and enjoy everything that comes with playing with our kids, cooking, and having family and friends over.”

Chloe Grace Moretz grateful to have female director

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Grace Moretz was thankful she had a female director when it came to her sex scene in ‘The Miseducation of Cameron Post’.
The 21-year-old actress gets intimate with Quinn Shephard in her new movie – which is set in a gay conversion therapy camp – and she appreciated the way filmmaker Desiree Akhavan handled the sensitive scene.
She said: “The representation of femininity and female pleasure is usually very clinical and objective when shot through a male gaze.
“Desiree hid herself and the crew away and just let it be Quinn and me and our female director of photography. That takes strength as a director.”
And Chloe was glad Desiree wasn’t an overbearing director.
She explained “She allows the people she hires to do the jobs she hired them to do.
“As much direction as she gave me, she also didn’t. She knew when to just let us be the characters.”
The ‘Carrie’ actress has been a vocal supporter of the #MeToo movement and though she thinks a lot of progress has been made, she’s now called for audiences to step up and prove they want to see more diversity and equality on screen.
She told Radio Times magazine: “We still have so much work to do. It’s in the audience’s hands.
“Buying a movie ticket is casting a ballot as to the representation you want on screen.
“Stories from different perspectives need to be told.
“Those that are in power – the same eight people – only work in terms of cash.
“If they don’t see the cash come in, they’re not going to hire the people that deserve to be telling those different stories.”

Mckenna Grace dreamed of Marvel role

OHMYGOSSIP — Mckenna Grace “always dreamed” of acting in a Marvel movie.
The 12-year-old actress can’t believe she is going to be playing a superhero, a young Carol Danvers in ‘Captain Marvel’, the newest instalment of the hit movie franchise.
Of her role, she said: “Oh, my gosh, I’ve always dreamed about and wanted to be a Marvel superhero. When I found out I got that, I screamed. I did it while I was shooting ‘The Haunting’ and ‘The Bad Seed’. I’d go from ‘The Haunting’ to ‘The Bad Seed’, and then on the weekend, I would go fly to L.A. to train and learn how to do stuff for Captain Marvel. I feel very grateful and thankful because I’ve gotten to work with Captain America (Chris Evans) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and I got to play young Captain Marvel. I love Marvel so much. Every time a new Marvel movie comes out, my dad and I go and watch it. On ‘Troupe Zero’, we had a whole poll going, where I was Team Captain America and all the rest of the kids were Team Iron Man. I don’t understand it. When we would go and ask people who’s better, Captain America or Iron Man, most of the people said Iron Man, but I know that’s not true.”
Whilst Mckenna has a string of movies lined up, she insists she always makes time to enjoy her childhood and spend time with her family.
She told Collider: “I’m always having fun. Whenever I get time off and I get to go back to L.A., my dad and I hang out. We just recently got a chess board, so we’ve been playing chess a lot. We watch scary movies together. We just play and hang out. I get to see my friends. When I’m working, my best friend and I call each other on FaceTime. I play with stuffed animals, all the time. My parents say that, even though I’m working in a grown up world, it’s important to stay myself.”

Mac Miller spent final night watching football with friends

OHMYGOSSIP — Mac Miller spent the night before he died watching football with friends.
The American rap star was found unconscious at his home in the San Fernando Valley at around midday on Friday (07.09.18), and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after he went into cardiac arrest following a suspected overdose.
However, friends are shocked by his death as the rapper – whose real name is Malcolm McCormick – had enjoyed a quiet evening with pals the day before.
A source told PEOPLE: “He was just out with friends watching the game last night, that’s why this is such a shock.
“Everyone who he worked with was aware that he was delicate, but thought it was because of the new album, nerves, nothing like this.”
Mac – who had battled substance abuse issues for years – released his latest album ‘Swimming’ on August 3.
Speaking previously, Mac admitted he had battled drug addiction and depression.
He said in 2013: “I love lean; it’s great… I was not happy and I was on lean very heavy. I was so f***ed up all the time it was bad. My friends couldn’t even look at me the same. I was lost.”
He added in 2015: “I had a drug problem for a long time. It wasn’t just in music, but I definitely was going through a drug problem and I think it was more my state of mind. I was just pretty depressed.”
However, he said he got sober because “overdosing is just not cool”.
He said: “I hate being sober [but would] rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged out mess who can’t even get out of his house. Overdosing is just not cool.”
Prior to his death, Miller had been sharing behind-the-scenes videos of his home life on his Instagram account.
In the video clips, the rapper – whose two-year relationship with Ariana ended in May – showed a turntable that played his track ‘So It Goes’.
Earlier this week, Miller spoke candidly about his trouble dealing with the pressures of fame.
Reflecting on the stresses of success, he said: “There’s pressure. A lot of times in my life I’ve put this pressure to hold myself to the standard of whatever I thought I was supposed to be, or how I was supposed to be perceived.
“It’s the job. This is what I signed up for. So, you just have to not. You have to have your own reality and that has to be the driving force of your life.
“Do I wish that every single thing I did when I was 19 wasn’t a discussion? Sure.”

Chris Pine: Nude scene was essential to Outlaw plot

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pine says his full frontal scene in ‘Outlaw’ was essential to the plot.
The 38-year-old actor plays Robert the Bruce, one of the most famous warriors of his generation, in 14th-century Scotland in the Netflix movie and Chris feels the nude scene was needed to give his character, who went on to become King of Scotland, a human element.
He told the Hollywood Reporter: “I wouldn’t obviously do it if I didn’t feel it was important. Underneath the Emperor’s clothes is a puking little kid who was once upon a time just rolling around in the mud and a child. The idea that underneath every prime minister, and president, and ruling leader that we give power to is someone that is just an animal, and if you stripped all of that bullshit aside, they would be hunting and gathering, and fornicating and pooping.
“We’re just base animals. I thought it was very important to see this man who’s going to have power be an animal.”
However, Chris admitted filming of the nude scene took place in less than ideal conditions.
He said: “It was very cold, and on the side of a major highway. Not exactly the elements I would choose myself.”
And he is surprised that people are so interested in that particular scene.
Chris said: “There’s so much beheading in this, and yet people want to talk about my penis. I think that says something about our society, where people can get disemboweled, but it’s the man’s junk that is of interest.”
Meanwhile, Chris’ co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson spoke about the actors doing their own stunts for the David Mackenzie movie.
He said: “It was a necessity that we all knew how to be equipped with a weapon and ride a horse professionally. These guys, that’s what they did all day long. We had a couple months to look like professionals, ride one-handed, and swing a sword above our head.”

Timothee Chalamet praises ‘paternal figure’ Steve Carell

OHMYGOSSIP — Timothee Chalamet felt “protected” by Steve Carell while filming ‘Beautiful Boy’.
The pair play a drug-addicted son and his long-suffering father in the new movie, which is based on the memoirs of Nic Sheff and his dad David, and Timothee said Steve was hugely supportive of him on set.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “I’ve been watching Steve for seven years on TV. I had to audition a couple times for this, and the last time I went in was with Steve. Obviously I play his son in this film, but immediately I felt like I was in the protection of a paternal figure.”
And Steve, 56, revealed he was impressed with young actor Timothee, 22.
He said: “He is warm, sincere, earnest and smart. You could only hope that would be your son. I have so much respect for him, and really care about him as a person.”
Meanwhile, Steve’s former ‘The Office’ co-star Amy Ryan plays Nic’s mother and she believes her past professional relationship with Steve helped them to foster the intimacy they needed on the big screen.
She said: “I never dreamed [working together again] would have been in this story, but this story came along first, and I was so eager to be a part of it.
“I think it really helped having history with each other and deep friendship and respect. The relationship in the film, they’re a bit more fractured, but they find this common bond and love and step aside and would do anything for their son.”
However, she admitted that memories of their previous comedy work together did affect her on set.
She said: “I remember in our first take together, I just started laughing, which is really wildly inappropriate for our movie.”
