OHMYGOSSIP — Claire Foy thinks Canada deserves to be congratulated for creating Ryan Gosling.
The 34-year-old actress stars alongside the handsome actor in the new biographical drama ‘First Man’, and Claire has admitted to relishing the experience, saying Ryan is the most “generous, kindest, funny actor”.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she explained: “I literally feel like God has arrived. He’s amazing, like, well done, Canada.
“He really is the most generous, kindest, funny actor. It’s just incredible to work with him.”
Emma Stone, another of Ryan’s former co-stars, also recently heaped praise on the Canadian actor.
The Academy Award-winning actress – who has appeared alongside Ryan in hits such as ‘La La Land’, ‘Gangster Squad’ and ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ – admitted she couldn’t imagine her life without the actor.
She added: “He’s so special. It makes me emotional. He’s so talented but he’s such a great person to work with because he’s so collaborative and excited about the process.
“He’s taught me a lot about being really generous.”
Emma, 29, explained that she and Ryan struck up a good partnership the moment they met, and they’ve remained good friends ever since.
She shared: “We really hit it off. We’ve been just pals ever since.
“He is a wonderful person, but also an incredible actor. It’s a lucky thing that we get to do three [movies together]. It’s not bad.”
Despite this, Ryan believes director Damien Chazelle – who helmed ‘La La Land’ and ‘First Man’ – ought to be given more credit for creating such a healthy working environment.
He said: “I think he creates a certain environment that makes everybody feel creatively involved and it feels like a true collaboration, but he has great vision.
“He’s able to work at these enormous scales but still have the environment feel intimate and creative. So, I think we all are very lucky to work on his movies.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Lloyd Webber “never thought” he’d win an award for ‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert’.
The 70-year-old composer achieved EGOT status – a person who has won Academy, Emmy, Grammy and Tony Awards – along with his co-producers John Legend and Sir Tim Rice when the NBC TV show won the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) prize at the Creative Emmy Awards on Sunday (09.09.18), and admitted it was a surreal moment for him and the team as when the original 1970 opera was staged he wasn’t as well known.
He told the New York Post newspaper: “I never thought we’d get this award. Something I never expected. When we did the show originally, I wasn’t well known. None of us were. Not producer Craig Zadan, whom we just lost, and whose dream it was, or lyricist Tim Rice who also got an Emmy.”
Webber also admitted that he “hated” the Broadway version.
He added: “I loved this TV version. Thrilled NBC did it the way we wished it had been done 45 years ago. It was live and felt live – but I thought the Broadway production was loud and vulgar. What happened was the recordings became a hit in America before the show was really ready, and I hated it.”
The ‘Phantom of the Opera’ composer says he plans on continuing his success with a live version of ‘Cinderella’ in the works, among other projects in the pipeline.
Asked how he can continue his greatness, he said: “Do something else I’m working on. Like a new version of Cinderella. I have projects on the shelf at home. And my movie of ‘Cats’ starts in a month.”
‘All of Me’ hitmaker John too said he “never dreamed” he would join the elite group of stars to have won at all four major awards ceremonies.
On adding to his 10 Grammies, 2015 Oscar win for Best Original Song and the Tony he picked up in 2017 for co-producing ‘Jitney’, he said: “It’s kind of surreal. It’s something I never even thought about when I started my career. I probably wanted to win some GRAMMYs and sell a lot of records, and all that started happening pretty quickly, but I never dreamed that I would be here, winning an Emmy, and being in that rare group of people that have won all four of these major [awards].”

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan has branded the “brutal” backlash Roxanne Pallett has experienced following her ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ stint as “a witch hunt”.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress has been slated by the public and quit both her radio show and upcoming pantomime performance after she falsely accused Ryan Thomas of punching her in the house, before later admitting she “got it wrong”.
But Piers feels “a bit sorry for” the ex-‘Waterloo Road’ star, and has given her some words of wisdom about what to do next.
Piers told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “I think she made a big mistake, shouldn’t have done what she did, and I told her, ‘Go away, clear your head and come back and start again’.
“In the end it’s a TV show. What she did was not smart and she knows it and I’m beginning to feel a bit sorry for her. I think it’s now become a witch hunt. It’s brutal.”
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter did admit the star “got herself into this mess”, but has called for people to “calm down”.
He explained: “I know Roxanne a bit and I don’t feel sorry for in the sense she got herself into this mess and I think she played it very badly.
“I think she knows how badly she played it and I think the scale of abuse she’s now getting is beginning to get a bit much. People should calm down.
“She had to leave that show. She’s lost her pantomime gig, she’s lost her radio show. Everyone just wants to wipe down and extinguish and it’s got a bit brutal.”
Ryan won ‘CBB’ last night (10.09.18) and admitted he felt like a “scared little boy” when Roxanne made the allegation against him, because he feared for his career and reputation.

OHMYGOSSIP — Roxanne Pallett is set to star in ‘Celebrity Coach Trip’.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress is expected to take a seat on the Channel 4 show in 2019, after she falsely accused ex-‘Coronation Street’ star Ryan Thomas of punching her in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house recently, only to back-track on her comments and admit she “got it wrong”.
A show source told OK! Online: “Roxanne Pallett will be in Celebrity Coach Trip. It was filmed earlier this summer.
“It is not on screen until next year.”
Following Roxanne’s ‘CBB’ accusation, she dubbed herself the “most hated girl in Britain”, and quit her radio breakfast show on Minster FM, and her titular role in forthcoming panto ‘Cinderella’.
She said: “I’m the most hated girl in Britain right now, it’s a lot to deal with … that’s the title I feel everyone has given me at the moment.
“All I can do is own it, accept it and apologise.
“I feel devastated. It cripples me with embarrassment and shame that I could have put somebody in that position. Seeing the footage of Ryan in the Diary Room, distressed … I fully agree and understand with every single person’s reaction and perceptions to that. If I’d have been at home watching that I would have been the same.”
Earlier this week, Roxanne was seen departing ‘Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls’ – which was pre-recorded in May – after just four days, and fellow contestant Jo Wood claimed she was “always playing up to the camera” on the show.
She said: “Luckily, she was only there for four days. She was always playing up to the camera.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum rejected the chance to date Drake.
The 45-year-old model previously identified the chart-topping rapper as a potential partner during a game on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, but Heidi subsequently ignored his texts when Drake tried to contact her.
On her return to the show, Heidi was asked whether Drake reached out to her and she admitted: “He did. Sorry, Drake! Snooze you lose! You know what I mean? He was basically a week too late.
“I don’t remember when it was, and I didn’t have his number; he didn’t have my number [either]. Someone who I know knows him, and I guess he asked to have my number, and then he texted me.
“I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh. This is so weird!’ But I never texted him back, because I found the love of my life.”
Heidi spurned Drake’s advances because she’d only just started dating Tokio Hotel rocker Tom Kaulitz.
And the German beauty has admitted she immediately fell in love with musician when they met at a friend’s birthday party.
She said: “It was to the point so bad that I couldn’t even look at him.
“I had to sit next to him instead of across, because then I would have had to look at him the whole time. It was like an immediate [spark]. You know when that eye thing’s happening, and you get warm and fuzzy inside? It was like that.”
Despite this, Heidi still feels a little bit guilty about the situation and has apologised to Drake.
She said: “Drake, I’m sorry I didn’t text you back. You’re cool. I still love your music! I still love your music! I’ll probably come to the concerts very soon.”
Then, realising she’s unlikely to be given any free tickets under the circumstances, she added: “It’s fine! I’ll buy a ticket!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins will become a university professor for a new MTV reality show.
‘ReFreshers Week presented by Strongbow’ will see eight ‘students’ embark on a journey discovering new places and trying out some challenges laid on by a star-studded cast of celebrity guests.
‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Gemma is the subject of a presentation in one of the challenges, and after filming the show she has contacted the University of Essex about them teaching a degree all about her.
She said: “As a natural diva, I absolutely love being in charge as a professor and I’m considering speaking to the Uni of Essex about launching an official degree in GC.
“I didn’t go to university, but this show really gives me a flavour for Freshers’ Week and all the lols that come with it.”
The five-part series will document the highs and lows of university life, with each episode featuring the group in a brand new city trying to balance everything from exploring their surroundings to cramming for an important task in a bid to emerge victorious at the end with a £25,000 cash prize.
Other stars lending their expertise include Charlotte Dawson, Ed Gamble, Kim Woodburn and Jodie Harsh.
The series will be hosted by ‘Friday Night Dinner’ actor Tom Rosenthal, and he has promised viewers will be treated to “some absolute bozos”.
He added: “I was honoured to be given the position of the Dean at ReFreshers University. Taking on such an esteemed role gave me a chance to educate, to mentor and to question my professional decision-making.
“Just like Freshers’ Week style this show will introduce you to some great people, some fine people and some absolute bozos.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Laura Anderson and Paul Knops have reportedly split up.
The pair are believed to have parted ways as their busy work schedules and hectic lifestyle have kept them apart since they left the villa in July.
An insider told The Sun Online: “Laura and Paul have been so busy since the show finished and both had holidays planned without each other – so have ended up spending a lot of time apart.
“Paul went to New York for modelling work and on to Burning Man while Laura enjoyed some time back in Dubai where she lived before signing up to ‘Love Island’.”
According to the source, the stars of the ITV2 dating show will address the end of their relationship when the time is right.
They added: “They saw each other on Saturday night but only for a personal appearance and things weren’t the same between them so they have decided to cool off their romance.
“Neither of them will be ready to speak about their split in public just yet but they may well do later this week once it has sunk in.”
While they were “exclusive”, the pair previously said they had no immediate plans to move in together because there was a lot of “pressure” on them as a couple.
The 29-year-old beauty said previously: “We are exclusively seeing each other, we’re not speaking to anyone else or anything like that, but I just think there is a lot of pressure on us.”
And the 31-year-old hunk replied during their joint TV interview: “It’s not like we’ve sat down and said we’re boyfriend and girlfriend, although I guess we are. I guess it is what it is.”
Laura said of their housing situation: “We’re not going to be moving in with each other just now, I’m going to get my own place and Paul is going to get his place back and we’re going to be close by … I’m homeless at the moment, I had been living in Dubai.”
Paul replied: “I’m waiting to get my apartment back, but we are spending as much time as we can together.”
Laura had planned to take Paul to her home away from home, Dubai, later this year.
She said: “For me I really want Paul to see my life there as that’s a big part of me, so if we have time with work commitments I’d really like to take him and November is a nice time to go as it’s not like a sauna.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman’s kids thought she was “crazy” whilst she was making her latest movie.
The Academy Award-winning actress has revealed that her two youngest children, daughters Sunday, 10, and Faith, seven, were both baffled as they witnessed Nicole working on some of her new movie, ‘Destroyer’, from home.
Nicole – who plays LAPD detective Erin Bell in the crime thriller – explained: “We were by the skin of our teeth trying to make this film, and I mean, my kids are always like, ‘What is she doing now? Our crazy mama.'”
However, Nicole believes her work will ultimately have a positive impact on her kids, sparking their “vivid imaginations”.
The 51-year-old star – who also has son Connor, 23, and daughter Isabella, 25, from her marriage to Tom Cruise – told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I think, because they see me creating characters and, you know, they have vivid imaginations themselves and they construct stories, and so that’s all they know.”
Meanwhile, Nicole’s husband Keith Urban previously admitted it was a “miracle” their marriage “survived” the first year because of his drug addictions.
The country singer shared: “I caused the implosion of my fresh marriage. It survived, but it’s a miracle it did.
“I was spiritually awoken with her. I use the expression: ‘I was born into her’, and that’s how I feel. And for the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction.”
Keith revealed that at one point, he thought his substance use would kill him.
The musician – who married Nicole in 2006 – said: “I’d go to sleep, wake up a couple of hours later, go at it again, drinking to take the edge off.
“I remember thinking, ‘I’m probably not going to make it until tomorrow.’ And then I thought, ‘F**k it. I really don’t care. It’ll be a relief to not have to. I’ll take an Ambien and at some point I’ll pass.’
“I was taking everything. I remember thinking, ‘Oh, good, this is the end of it, yahoo.’ I was quite happy about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert are among a host of female country stars set to be honoured at the ‘CMT Artist of the Year’ celebration.
The TV special will air on October 17 live from the home of country music, Nashville, Tennessee, and the likes of Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott are also going to be recognised for 2018.
Speaking about the all-female line-up this year, Leslie Frame, Senior Vice President of Music & Talent at CMT, commented: “In this monumental year for women, dedicating one of the biggest nights in the genre to applaud female country artists not only solidifies our commitment, but we hope will spark a much-needed change in the industry.”
‘Blown Away’ singer Carrie – who is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 20 – added to her huge CMT Music Awards haul by winning the Female Video of the Year award for ‘The Champion’, which also featured Ludacris, at the main ceremony in June.
The 35-year-old star, who also performed ‘Cry Pretty’ at the spectacle, is the most decorated artist in the ceremony’s history after landing 18 prizes at the awards show over the years.
In her acceptance speech, she said: “Thank you God for all of us who are lucky enough who sit over here that we get to do what we get to do.
“And thank God for you guys – the fans. You guys really are the reason that we get to do what we do.
“Whoever went and voted for anybody, just thank you for taking the time. It means everything.”
She also thanked Ludacris for “wanting to inspire” and joining her on the tune.
Carrie added: “It took a whole team of people to put all of this stuff together for the video, so thank you all so much.
“Thank you to the normal people and the heroes who were in the video for just doing what you do and allowing us to share your story with the world.”
Blake Shelton was the big winner on the night.
The 42-year-old singer took home the major prize of the night, Video of the Year, as well as Male Video of Year for his hit song ‘I’ll Name the Dogs’, beating off competition from the likes of Thomas Rhett in both categories.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney “wouldn’t” have listened to Damon Albarn after he claimed to have warned him against working with Kanye West.
The Blur frontman wasn’t pleased when he found out The Beatles legend had agreed to team up with the rapper on the song ‘FourFiveSeconds’ in 2015, and called their collaboration “abusive”, suggesting that Kanye “trapped” McCartney into working with him, whilst accusing the ‘All Day’ hitmaker of feeding off other artists.
Now the Beatles legend has responded and said whilst he respects the Blur star’s concern and can’t remember whether he did in fact text him or not, he doesn’t listen to other people’s opinions and would have worked with Kanye anyway.
In an interview with GQ magazine, the 76-year-old music icon responded: “I love the respect someone like Damon is attributing to me, but I’m not that fussed.
“If I want to go somewhere else from where I normally go or where I’m expected to go, I’ll go.
And if I enjoy it, that’s enough for me.
“The great thing is, all sorts of hysterical things come out of it.
“I mean, there’s a lot of people think Kanye discovered me. And that’s not a joke.”
Asked if he recalls getting a message from Damon, the ‘Come On To Me’ singer replied: “He might have. I don’t remember. But I wouldn’t listen to him. I don’t listen to people.”
According to NME.com, Albarn had fumed to French magazine Nouvel Obs in June: “Do not get me started on Kanye West, Kanye West trapped Paul McCartney.
“It’s rude, it’s not good. I have a problem with this abusive collaboration: we’re talking about Paul McCartney, anyway! Kanye West thinks only about Kanye West, uses a name to make headlines, to say ‘McCartney is in my song’ , and puts McCartney in the video, but not in the song itself …
“Before he decided to work with Kanye West, I sent a text message to McCartney saying, ‘beware’, but he ignored it, he does what he wants, it’s Paul McCartney.
“Kanye West is one of those people who feed on other people. ”
The ‘Let it Be’ hitmaker also revealed that Kanye offered to produce his latest solo record ‘Egypt Station’, but he turned him down because he had his own concept set in stone.
He said: “I kind of knew what direction I wanted to go in. And I knew that would be very different from where Kanye would go with it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival has been cancelled due to Hurricane Florence.
The 33-year-old rapper was set to play the inaugural festival in North Carolina on Saturday (15.09.18), but the event has been axed as the category 4 storm is expected to cause disruption from Thursday (13.09.18).
The ‘Crooked Smile’ hitmaker expressed his concerns about his fans’ safety.
He tweeted on Monday: (10.09.18) “Mannn. Due to this Hurricane heading to NC, we have to cancel Dreamville Festival.
“We’re working to get another date, but right now safety is most important. I appreciate everybody that was headed to rock with us. 30,000 + were expected. All tickets will be refunded. Bsafe. (sic)”
The artist was set to headline with Big Sean, SZA, Young Thug and Nelly among artists on the line-up.
In a statement, the festival’s organisers said: “Due to safety concerns regarding dangerous weather, we are extremely saddened to announce today that the inaugural Dreamville Festival 2018 is being cancelled.
“Our team has been working tirelessly with officials from the City of Raleigh, along with our State and Federal Partners, among others, to monitor the potential negative impact of Hurricane Florence.
“With the current weather-related information at hand, we have together decided to cancel this year’s event for the ultimate safety of both the local citizens and festival attendees.”
The storm was made a category 4 hurricane on Monday (10.09.18) by the National Hurricane Center after gaining 140 mph winds and is currently gaining strength in the Atlantic Ocean.

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea has “finally” moved on from one of her ex-boyfriends.
The 28-year-old rapper – who has dated a host of celebrities over recent years, including the likes of A$AP Rocky, basketball player Nick Young, and NFL star DeAndre Hopkins – has revealed via a cryptic Twitter post that she’s “finally” come to terms with one of her failed romances.
She wrote: “Isnt the day you think about someone again and finally dont miss them anymore or give a single f**k about them (but in the kindest way possible) just the best feeling ever. Its really is. wow.
“Its honestly such a nice feeling. (sic)”
Iggy recently admitted to experiencing “crazy anxiety” when people started speculating she was dating Jimmy Butler.
The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker set tongues wagging when she was spotted looking cosy with the basketball player, but she subsequently rubbished the suggestion and revealed she feels an overwhelming sense of paranoia when her fans start commenting on her love life.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the Australian star fumed: “Can we please stop saying every man who is single you see me standing next to is someone I’m on a date with? S**t is corny and super annoying! The whole thing gives me crazy anxiety & makes me feel like I can’t have normal in passing conversations with people because everything ends up being some “story” for the internet. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Baldwin has taken a back seat with her career to spend time with her fiancé.
The 21-year-old model decided not to take too many modeling jobs at New York Fashion Week this year because she wants to focus on her family and partner Justin Bieber.
She told Women’s Wear Daily: “I’ve tried to be really choosy with fashion week going forward, just because I want to have the time to spend being relaxed and being with family – and my fiancé.”
Meanwhile, a source previously revealed Justin and Hailey are in no rush to get married.
The insider shared: “Justin had been planning to propose to Hailey for a couple weeks before he finally did, and he’s relieved that weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Justin and Hailey are enjoying their time as a newly engaged couple. Justin and Hailey have been telling friends they want to have a smaller wedding, with close family and friends, nothing too over the top.
“The couple has discussed where they would have their wedding, in either Canada or somewhere in the States, New York or Los Angeles. They’ve thrown around the idea of having it in possibly both, but it’s still the early stages of planning. Justin and Hailey are trying to enjoy the excitement of engagement before fully diving into wedding planning.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William “took a lot home” when he worked as an air ambulance pilot.
The 36-year-old royal worked for the East Anglian Air Ambulance as a first responder for two years and admits it was tough seeing such “despair and sadness”.
Speaking at a mental health event in Bristol, he said: “I took a lot home without realising it. You see so many sad things every day that you think life is like that.
“You’re always dealing with despair and sadness and injury. The attrition builds up and you never really have the opportunity to offload anything if you’re not careful.”
Meanwhile, William – who has Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, four months, with his wife Duchess Catherine – announced in January 2017 that he would be stepping down from the job and said it was a “huge privilege” to work with the East Anglia Air Ambulance.
He said in a statement at the time: “It has been a huge privilege to fly with the East Anglia Air Ambulance. Following on from my time in the military, I have had experiences in this job I will carry with me for the rest of my life, and that will add a valuable perspective to my royal work for decades to come. I would like to thank the people of East Anglia for being so supportive of my role and for letting me get on with the job when they have seen me in the community or at our region’s hospitals.

OHMYGOSSIP — Shawn Mendes has been left with a bruised face after falling off a scooter.
The ‘Stitches’ hitmaker also sustained cuts to his hands when he took a tumble in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday (10.09.18).
Shawn took to his Instagram Story to show his injuries, captioning one post: “fell off a bird, lol.(sic)”
His cryptic caption led to bemusement from fans who thought he’d had an avian encounter but Bird is an electric scooter which pedestrians are able to rent from the sidewalk in the city.
And the 20-year-old star later admitted his tumble was the result of being an “idiot”.
He told USA Today: “It has nothing to do with the scooter. It has everything to do with being an idiot, being 20.”
Shawn explained his injuries occurred after he turned to look behind him and he decided to let his face take the brunt of the accident rather than try and break his fall with his hands as he needed to play guitar for his ‘CMT Crossroads’ concert special with the Zac Brown Band.
The ‘In My Blood’ singer insisted the incident hadn’t put him off using the motorised mode of transport in the future.
He said: “If anybody asked me if they should ride them, I would say yes.”
And not only that, but after picking himself back up from his fall, he’d jumped straight back onto the scooter again.
He admitted: “I rode it back to the hotel.”
Meanwhile, Shawn recently admitted he is focusing on his work and pushing himself “to his limit” by playing as many shows as he can.
He added: “I want to push myself to my limit of what I can handle and play as many shows and write as many songs as I can and fly around the world 10,000 times in a year, pushing myself to the point where it seems crazy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna has new music “coming.”
The 30-year-old singer hasn’t released any new music since 2016’s ‘ANTI’, but she has assured fans that she’s working on new material and, although it’s not quite ready yet because she’s been busy focusing on her lingerie line, her make-up collection and doing a film, she’ll drop some new tracks in the near future.
Responding to a fan on Instagram who asked where her new music was, the ‘Diamonds’ hitmaker replied: “I know I know sis. I’m doing music. Simultaneously doing lingerie, makeup, film, amongst a couple other things that I enjoy.
“When the music is ready, you won’t have to ask for it. But it’s coming. Just not today sis. I’m hype too tho, it can’t come soon enough. (sic)”
The brunette beauty hasn’t given much away when it comes to her next release but it’s believed she may be gearing up to drop a double-disc album next year.
A source said recently: “Rihanna wasn’t happy with how her last album performed – even though she loved how it turned out, she knows she needs a new project full of smash hits to avoid two back-to-back flops…she’s currently recording two albums – one full of chart-friendly songs, and another made up of moody and experimental tracks – and is considering releasing a double disc if she feels the songs won’t mesh well on the same album.”
Back in June, Rihanna confirmed that she had been back in the studio but she refused to divulge whether it would be ready in time for this Christmas.
She said at the time: “You’ll have to wait and see.”
There’s no title name yet but her fans have been referring to it as ‘R9’ online.
