OHMYGOSSIP — James Ransone thinks the best people are always “unique weirdos”.
The 39-year-old actor – who stars as Eddie Kaspbrak in the much-anticipated ‘It – Chapter Two’ – recently met with acclaimed author Stephen King, whose work is the foundation for the film franchise, and James has revealed he was “so cool”.
Speaking to Metro US, he shared: “He came for a set visit. It was so awesome.
“Talking to him you realise that the people who are the best at what they do are always the most open and interested and curious and unique weirdos.
“It is always the mediocre people that are a pain in the ass. He was so cool. He was just so open and down to talk about whatever.”
James has replaced Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie in the film franchise, and he’s revealed they’ve already discussed turning the situation into a light-hearted meme.
Asked whether he and Jack have already spoken about the role, he said: “A little bit. I am probably gonna blow up our spot, but we were gonna reshoot that Spider-Man meme. Where they were pointing at each other. But I don’t know if we will have enough time.
“We haven’t had that much time talking to those kids. Jack is so busy. He’s doing ‘Shazam’. I met them for a set visit and then we text once in a while.
“I do know that him and my brother work out at the same gym in the Palisades, which is really weird. My brother actually said when he saw the movie that I would play him. Because he recognised that we look exactly like.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney’s song ‘Who Cares’ was inspired by Taylor Swift’s fans.
The 76-year-old music legend has revealed the track on his new ‘Egypt Station’ is about the cruelty of cyber bullying and when he was penning the lyrics, he imagined asking the 28-year-old pop star’s fanbase – known as Swifties – if they’d ever had to face trolls online.
In an interview with BBC Music, he said: “I was actually thinking about Taylor Swift and her relationship to her young fans and how it’s sort of a sisterly thing.
“And I was imagining talking to one of these young fans and saying, ‘Have you ever been bullied? Do you get bullied?’
“Then I say, ‘Who cares about the idiots? Who cares about all this? Who cares about you? Well … I do.'”
Meanwhile, the Beatles star previously admitted that he chose to make a concept album because he doesn’t think he can compete with the likes of the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker and Beyonce.
Macca went down the old-fashioned route of giving his fans a record which takes them on a journey on his 17th solo LP like his own band did with 1966’s ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ and their peers Pink Floyd did on 1979’s ‘The Wall’ and 1983’s ‘The Final Cut’, as he prefers the format to a “collection of singles” which many pop stars put out these days.
He said: “These days you have the big stars like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar, particularly the first two, their songs are a collection of singles.
“They are all great commercial tracks but it doesn’t roll through like a Pink Floyd album used to, or a Fleetwood Mac album.”
Quipping that he can’t rival with ‘Delicate’ hitmaker Taylor’s legs, he continued: “So I thought, well, I can’t compete with that Taylor Swift thing, she’s got better legs than me!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Charnock found filming ‘Emmerdale 1918’ “very moving”.
The 50-year-old actor – who plays Marlon Dingle in the ITV soap – is set to star in a new documentary which will see him and several of his co-stars, including Natalie J. Robb (Moira Dingle), tell stories about World War I heroes from the village of Esholt, which inspired the soap, and Mark admits it was a “moving” shoot.
He said: “We all found it very moving and became personally invested.”
Mark – whose character Marlon is a chef – followed the story of Army cook Frederick Brocklehurst for the documentary, but he joked it was “unfortunate” he had done the cooking for the cast and crew on the last day of filming.
He said: “The producers kept their cards close to their chests, so we didn’t know what to expect on that last day.
“But Emmerdale’s main street was lined with people waving flags and we had a brass band – and unfortunately I’d cooked for everyone, which got a mixed response. There was a real village fayre feel about it – it was very warm and sincere.”
After shooting the show, the former ‘Cadfael’ actor admits he would be up for heading back in time for a special episode of the ITV soap.
When asked if he would like to film an ‘Emmerdale’ special set in 1918, he added to Inside Soap magazine: “That would be fantastic. But I reckon only if I can have a great big moustache.”
Mark’s exploration of Frederick’s story will take place in the first episode, and later in the series Natalie will look into information about Esholt’s Women’s Land Army volunteers, and Zoe Henry, who plays vet Rhona Goskirk in ‘Emmerdale’, will find out about a front-line vet.
Emmerdale’s outdoor scenes were shot in Esholt from 1976 to 1999, when the soap moved to a purpose-built location on the Harewood estate near Leeds.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper admits his directorial debut was a huge risk.
The 43-year-old star moved behind the camera for the first time to helm the musical romantic drama ‘A Star Is Born’, and Bradley – who also appears in the movie – has admitted he placed a massive amount of trust in his co-star Lady Gaga.
Bradley confessed: “The thing that I was very aware of from the beginning and I cherish even to this day is how much we both had at stake, because it was a first for both of us.
“We knew that going into it, we were really going to have to rely on each other, because it’s scary putting yourself out there to this degree.”
Gaga – who previously starred as the Countess on ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ – admitted it was “incredible” to watch Bradley on the set of the film.
She told E! News: “Just watching him direct, watching him write, watching him write, not just the screenplay, but watching him write music for himself, becoming a musician, seeing him create his character and him guiding me through the process. It was just incredible.”
Bradley recently admitted that directing ‘A Star is Born’ was a “very cathartic” experience.
The drama movie tells the story of a hard-drinking country musician, and Bradley confessed that making the film was a freeing experience for himself.
The Hollywood star – who has previously admitted to struggling with drugs and alcohol – said: “Anytime you’re trying to tell the truth you need to go to places and use things that have happened to you, or you’ve read about or experienced.
“And that’s all part of the beauty of turning whatever things you’ve gone through into a story. I find that to be very cathartic. I remember learning that in grad school, our teacher said all the insecurities, all the dark stuff you get to use that and that’s really the truth.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher says “five pounds of make-up” is the secret to her youthful appearance in ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’.
The 72-year-old icon appeared alongside a star-studded cast in the Ol Parker-directed musical romantic comedy, and Cher has now revealed her secret to her enviable appearance in the movie.
Asked how she manages to look so young, she shared: “Make-up. Five pounds of make-up. Also the director really liked me, and I think he took extra special care to light me. That has a lot to do with it. He was wonderful.”
The film also features the likes of Lily James, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep, and it was one of the most-hyped releases of 2018 so far.
However, Cher has yet to watch the movie in its entirety, saying she’s “not quite ready”.
Speaking to Attitude magazine, Cher said: “I didn’t really see the whole movie because I’m not quite ready. And I will see it at some point. I don’t really love seeing my movies right away.”
‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ – which is a follow-up to the 2008 movie ‘Mamma Mia!’ – features some of ABBA’s best-known hits.
Cher’s new album ‘Dancing Queen’ contains cover versions of songs recorded by the Swedish pop group, who she believes deserve more credit.
Reflecting on the eternal appeal of ABBA’s music, Cher said: “ABBA songs are a lot harder to sing than one might imagine. They’re much more intricate, they’re much more substantive.
“I think that people love ABBA, but I’m not so sure they appreciate them on a musical level. I don’t think they ask themselves, ‘Why am I loving this?'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jameela Jamil has been weight-shamed at her gym.
The 32-year-old actress – who stars as Tahani Al-Jamil in the comedy series ‘The Good Place’ – has taken to Twitter to reveal that a stranger approached her at the gym to discuss her figure and to advise her how she could improve her body.
She shared in a video clip: “He decided to tell me, without prompt, that he’s seen me around and he always thinks, ‘Ah, what a shame, she could look so amazing’ and there’s so many different things I could do to improve my body.
“So, essentially, he walked up to me and body-shamed me in the middle of the gym.”
The British star insisted no-one has the right to pass judgement on other people in such a way.
She said: “Don’t do that. Don’t walk up to someone and impose your belief of what you think they should look like onto them. Don’t do that to women, don’t do that to men, don’t do that to anyone, ever.”
However, Jameela insisted she’ll quickly be able to move on from the incident because she’s developed a thick skin.
The actress shared: “I’m comfortable. I enjoy my body. I enjoy my curves.
“I’m also, by the way, a US size 6 to 8, so if that’s how I’m being spoken to in a gym, you can imagine what people say to people who are larger than that.”
Meanwhile, Jameela previously revealed she was discouraged from swapping her successful presenting career in the UK to pursue her acting ambitions in Los Angeles, where she eventually landed a role in ‘The Good Place’.
She said: “Everyone said I was being mad, throwing away an eight-year career, and that I was too old – I was only 29 – too ethnic, and too fat to come over to Los Angeles.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tess Holliday has accused Revolve of fat-shaming.
The 33-year-old plus-sized model has hit back at the retailer for selling a sweatshirt which reads “being fat is not beautiful it’s an excuse”, sharing a screenshot of the jumper and criticising its message.
She wrote: “LOLLLLL @REVOLVE y’all are a mess.”
Revolve has already addressed the issue and apologised for its mistake.
In a statement to PEOPLE, the company said: “This morning, images of a forthcoming LPA collection were prematurely released on Revolve.com. The capsule collection – originally conceived by LPA alongside Lena Dunham, Emily Ratajkowski, Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse and Paloma Elsesser – was set to debut tomorrow as a direct commentary on the modern day ‘normality’ of cyber-bullying and the shared desire to create a community for those most affected by the epidemic.
“Proceeds were set to benefit ‘Girls Write Now’, a charity focused on mentoring underserved young women and helping them find their voices and tell their stories through writing.
“The prematurely released images featured on Revolve.com was not only included without context of the overall campaign but regrettably featured one of the pieces on a model whose size was not reflective of the piece’s commentary on body positivity.
“We at Revolve sincerely apologise to all those involved – particularly Lena, Emily, Cara, Suki and Paloma – our loyal customers, and the community as a whole for this error.”
The collection has now been pulled, and the retailer has announced it will be donating $20,000 to ‘Girls Write Now’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss no longer believes that “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”.
The 44-year-old model first coined her controversial phrase in 2009, but has now admitted she doesn’t believe it to be true and that the industry has improved since becoming more diverse.
Speaking to NBC’s Megyn Kelly, she said: “My friend used to say it, because you know, we were all living together, and you know, we’d go for the biscuits and go, ‘Oh, nothing tastes as g…’ It’s a little jingle.”
“There’s so much more diversity now, I think it’s right. There’s so many different sizes and colours and heights. Why would you just be a one-size model and being represented for all of these people? So yes, for sure, it’s better.”
The notorious quote divided opinion and the iconic star came under fire from former Ultimo model Katie Green, who launched the ‘Say No To Size Zero’ campaign the same year.
She said at the time: “There are 1.1 million eating disorders in the UK alone. Kate Moss’s comments are likely to cause many more. If you read any of the pro-anorexia websites, they go crazy for quotes like this.”
The supermodel admits that during adversity she stands by her life philosophy of “never complain, never explain” and thinks that the best way to deal with criticism is to ignore it and move on.
When asked what her motto meant to her, she said: “Just get on with it, you can’t do anything about what people think about you or if they lie if it’s not true.
“What they say or – just get on with it, it doesn’t matter because if you know who you are then you can get through.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman has a “very strong connection” with her ‘Big Little Lies’ co-stars.
The 51-year-old actress stars as Celeste Wright in the HBO drama series, and after recently wrapping filming for the show’s second season, Nicole has praised the unique bond she shares with her co-stars – including Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Alexander Skarsgard, and season two guest star Meryl Streep – both on and off the set.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ whilst at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (13.09.18), Nicole said: “I think all of us being together was so beautiful. We’ve now worked together well over a couple of years and so the bonds between all of us is just deeper and stronger and richer. I miss them. And then to have brought Meryl into that equation, I mean, we would go out all the time! We talk, we help each other. It’s just a very strong connection and that’s rare, you know. That you get that amount of time, particularly screen time together, and then personal time together.”
‘Big Little Lies’ was originally supposed to be a limited drama series, with it’s first season spanning just seven episodes, but when loyal fans demanded more, the cast and crew got back together to film season two, which airs next year.
Nicole’s comments come after the cast recently enjoyed a girls night out with a trip to play bowling.
Reese shared a photo of herself alongside Meryl, Shailene, and Nicole, accompanied by the caption: “We work and we play! Bowl-a-Rama party with the ladies of #BigLittleLies!”
Cast member Zoe Kravitz was also on the night out as Shailene shared a photograph of her wearing bunny ears and drinking a beer as the pair posed by a pool table.
And just days earlier, Shailene posted a picture of Reese, Zoe and co-star Laura Dern on a group outing to the cinema to see her new action adventure movie ‘Adrift’.
Shailene captioned the photo of her co-stars posing in front of a movie theatre with their tickets: “WHAT TRUE SUPPORT AND SISTERHOOD LOOKS LIKE. i feel so shown up for. #adrift (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran wishes his ‘Game of Thrones’ character had been “brutally, brutally” murdered.
The ‘Perfect’ hitmaker received criticism for his cameo as a Lannister soldier in the first episode of the hit HBO series’ seventh season last year, and while he had “fun” filming his brief scene, he thinks it would have been better for his character to have met a gruesome end so fans who disapproved of his appearance could have some “redemption”.
The 27-year-old singer/songwriter told BuzzFeed: “I know what ‘Game of Thrones’ fans hoped happened to my character. I’m sure they think my character got brutally, brutally murdered, but I think my character is still out there. I think he’s chillin’.
“It was fun being in ‘Game of Thrones’, but I definitely think they should’ve killed me off in the episode. I reckon that probably would’ve been the redemption for people that didn’t like it.”
The ‘Supermarket Flowers’ singer – who had an encounter with his pal Maisie Williams’ Arya Stark in the episode – previously admitted he knew no one would want him to return to ‘GoT’.
He said: “No one wants to see me come back. I wanted to be a cameo in it, and I’ve done the cameo. I’m cool with it, though. I enjoyed it.”
The ‘Castle on the Hill’ hitmaker was accused of deleting his Twitter account as a result of the criticism he received, but later insisted that wasn’t the case and he’d had a “f***in’ awesome” time on the set of the fantasy drama.
He wrote on Instagram shortly after the episode aired: “Last i’ll say on this. I came off Twitter Coz I was always intending to come off Twitter, had nothing to do with what people said about my game of thrones cameo, because I am in game of thrones, why the hell would I worry what people thought about that. It’s clearly f***in’ awesome.

The ‘Be Careful’ hitmaker has hit back at her rival over her claims Cardi bought her way into the chart, insisting “numbers don’t lie” when it comes to her sales figures.
She shared a post showing her debut LP, ‘Invasion of Privacy’ has the number three spot on 2018’s Top 10 Best Selling Hip-Hop Albums and wrote: “NUMBERS DONT F***ING LIE (sic)”
She also uploaded a video from a 2016 concert and wrote: “7/29/2016! NO LABEL, NO RADIO PLAY, FRESH OUT OF LOVE AND HIP HOP, ONLY 200K IN MY BANK ACCOUNT, MY FIRST TOUR !!! nobody can make you feel like you cheated yourself or you don’t deserve to be where you at when you KNOW YOU WORKED YOURSELF TO THE TOP !!! THANK YOU BARDIGANG !YOU BEEN HERE SINCE THE GET GO! (sic)”
Her remarks came after Nicki used her Apple Music Beats 1 show on Monday (10.09.18) to slam Cardi and accuse her of building her career on “sympathy and payola” – the practice of paying radio stations to play a song – following their altercation at a New York Fashion Week party days before.
She said about their fight: “You knew that when that footage came out, you were about to look dumb.
“So your team, they hurry up and put out a statement. I didn’t stop anyone’s bags. She had to say that because she has built her career of sympathy and payola.”
The ‘Chun-Li’ hitmaker also admitted the row had been “humiliating”.
She said: “The other night I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon people who have their life together.
“I was in a Gaultier gown — off the motherf***ing runway- and I could not believe how humiliated we all felt.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Osborne claims Rodrigo Alves was removed from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house after he acted “inappropriately” towards him.
The Brazilian cosmetic surgery addict’s departure from the show has been shrouded in mystery, with bosses refusing to reveal why he was booted out of the famous abode. but now the former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who placed third – has admitted he was left feeling “uncomfortable” by a mystery incident.
He told The Sun Online: “There was an incident in the house, it was just something inappropriate, I didn’t appreciate it.”
However, the 27-year-old star didn’t want to dwell on the details of the incident
because he didn’t want Rodrigo to be vilified.
He added: “I don’t really want to talk about it. I’ve had stories told about me, so I know it’s not nice. I don’t want to do that to anyone else.
“It wasn’t scary for me just uncomfortable…
“It’s just not me to talk about someone. I would rather not elaborate.”
Though Dan felt uncomfortable with Rodrigo’s behaviour, he insisted he never asked for him to be kicked out of the house.
He said: “No, no, not one bit.
“They basically just told me that he had left the house and that was it. We were all really well looked after, they took care of us really well.
“With my situation everything was properly taken care of.”
And Dan isn’t worried about coming into contact with Rodrigo in the future because their paths had never crossed before the show.
He said: “I never bumped into Rodrigo before going into the house so I probably won’t bump into him again.
“If I did I wouldn’t have a chat about it, I would say hello.”
Rodrigo has denied he did anything inappropriate and insisted it was his decision to leave the show.

OHMYGOSSIP — Domhnall Gleeson relied on a poem to develop his accent for ‘The Little Stranger’.
The 35-year-old actor stars as Dr Faraday alongside actress Ruth Wilson in the horror film, and Domhnall has revealed how he managed to maintain his British accent through the duration of the movie.
He said: “[Director Lenny Abrahamson] wanted something different so it’s a mixture of Warwickshire working-class and then period, as it’s the late 1940s – then also he aspires to be posh.”
Domhnall admitted he used a poem in a bid to avoid reverting back into his real-life Dublin accent.
He told the Herald newspaper: “I have a poem I do in the morning and a few phrases I go over and over, and I tend to keep the accent going during the day as well to make sure I don’t slip out of it.”
Despite his success in the film business, Domhnall recently admitted he never planned to become an actor.
The Irish star – whose father is the award-winning actor Brendan Gleeson – performed in school productions of ‘Grease’ and ‘King Lear’ and later graduated with a degree in Media Arts from the Dublin Institute of Technology, but it wasn’t his ambition to work in movies.
He explained: “I didn’t go to drama school and never thought about being an actor.
“I could go to my dad when auditioning and say, ‘What do I do with this?’ and he would talk me through it.
“His advice was what people would pay huge money for.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Fleur East is set to take part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The ‘Sax’ singer – who shot to fame after coming second to Ben Haenow on ‘The X Factor’ in 2014 – is set to be in negotiations to head Down Under for the jungle show in November and producers are confident viewers will warm to her.
A source said: “Fleur was one of the most loved X Factor contestants in recent years, so she is bound to be a hit with ­audiences.
“She’s part of the ITV family.
“The relationship is already there and they are just negotiating a deal at the moment.”
The 30-year-old singer was dropped from her record label Syco last October and hasn’t released new music since, but thinks going on the show would provide her with the perfect platform to kickstart a relaunch of her career.
The insider added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Fleur really wants to try to relaunch her music career in early 2019, so she feels like this is a great way to get her name back out there again.
“She knows she has been out of the spotlight for a while but wants people to see who she really is on the show.”
Fleur previously admitted she has been approached for the show in the past and was keen to take part, but it wasn’t the right time.
She said: “I’ve been approached by a few shows like ‘Strictly’ and ‘I’m A Celeb…’, but it’s never quite the right time.
“We’ll have to see if they come knocking again. I would like to do one at some point, if it was right.”
If Fleur does go into the jungle, she’s expected to be joined by former Inbetweeners’ actress Emily Atack, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer and ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter Kate Garraway.

OHMYGOSSIP — Roseanne Barr has “done some weird things on Ambien”.
The 65-year-old actress previously blamed the drug, which is typically used as a treatment for sleeping problems, for her offensive tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to former US President Barack Obama, and she’s now claimed the medication causes her to behave in strange ways.
She revealed: “Well, I’ve done some weird things on Ambien and I think a lot of people have. I’ve heard from thousands of people about it.”
Roseanne’s eponymous sitcom was cancelled earlier this year after she likened Jarrett to an ape on Twitter.
But in a soon-to-air TV interview on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’, the veteran star has once again suggested Ambien may have been partially responsible for her ill-advised tweet.
In quotes obtained by the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, Roseanne said: “One guy got up and cooked a turkey and ate it – that was, like, four hours, if you think about it – and didn’t remember it in the morning.
“And all the time that happens to me – when I go up in the kitchen and there’s a whole box of Triscuits laid out and eggs cracked on the wall, cheese everywhere.
“I ‘Ambien eat,’ like how Tiger Woods ‘Ambien drove’. It’s a weird drug.”
Last month, ABC president Channing Dungey said Roseanne “crossed a line that cannot be crossed” with her racist tweet.
Reflecting on the decision to fire Roseanne and cancel her sitcom, he said: “[The decision] was actually made very swiftly, and what I’m going to have to say is that it was nice that it was so clear to everyone that there wasn’t a lot of debate and discussion about it. We knew what we wanted to do, and we did it.
“For us, we have had multiple instances with Roseanne, and certainly this tweet crossed the line that cannot be crossed, but it was for us a sense of enough is enough and something had to be done.”

The wrestling legend tied the knot with fiancee Wendy Barlow on Wednesday (12.09.18) in a low-key ceremony at a resort in North Florida.
According to TMZ, fellow WWE icon The Undertaker was among the guests, while RAW star Dolph Ziggler walked Wendy down the aisle.
The 69-year-old wrestler donned a custom suit for the occasion and came in for the ceremony to the sound of Offset and Metro Boomin’s track ‘Ric Flair Drip’.
Ahead of the ceremony, Ric had posted his excitement on Twitter.
He wrote: “It’s Going To Be A Wonderful WOOOOO Wednesday!(sic)”
Wendy – who was previously known to wrestling fans as Fifi the French Maid – is Ric’s fifth wife and the couple have been together for six years.
The wedding comes a year after Ric was placed into an induced coma for 11 days after being rushed to hospital with stomach pains that were later diagnosed as the early stages of kidney failure and congestive heart failure due to years of alcohol abuse and he later praised Wendy for her support during his medical ordeal.
He said: “Wendy stayed with me in the ICU every day. She got what’s called … seriously, ICU psychosis, and she never left my room for 11 days.”
Ric also claimed he “couldn’t walk” after he was brought out of his coma, and was sent to a physical rehabilitation centre where he had to learn the basic function.
He added: “And then when I got released from the hospital they checked me into place, because I had to learn how to walk again, I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t twist the top off a Gatorade bottle or open a diet Coke. I lost 43 lbs. So they put me into a physical rehab, not an alcohol rehab. I’d already done that gig, and that really worked.”
