Duchess Meghan’s father receives death threats

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Meghan’s father has been receiving death threats.
Thomas Markle, 74 – who has been estranged from his daughter since her wedding to Britain’s Prince Harry in May – has reportedly been threatened by violent criminal Jose Sandoval, after striking up a friendship with Sandoval’s ex-girlfriend Lori Davis, 38.
It is alleged that Sandoval said: “I’m going to kill you, you fat f****r”.
In a police report filed by Lori, who has an 11-year-old daughter Jocelyn, she alleged: “He spat on my face… he goes to my uncle’s house [referring to Markle] and tells him that he is going to kill him because he is constantly hiding me and threatens and insults him.”
Thomas told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “The first time he threatened me was after I took Lori and Jocelyn for pizza and we were photographed by the paparazzi.
“I wrote back saying, ‘You don’t even know me, what’s wrong with you? Why would you feel threatened by a 74-year-old man?’
“He thought something sexual was going on between Lori and me but it’s not. Lori isn’t my girlfriend.
“She hasn’t hustled me for money. I’ve helped her financially so that she could get to a safe place to live with her daughter.
“I’m not worried about my own life but I do care about Lori and Jocelyn. I’m hoping the spotlight on me might help save an abused woman.”
Sandoval has denied threatening Mr Markle’s life, telling the newspaper: “he’s lying,” but he has admitted hitting Lori, saying: “she deserved it”.

John Krasinski was ‘very nervous’ directing wife Emily Blunt

OHMYGOSSIP — John Krasinski was “very nervous” directing his wife Emily Blunt in ‘A Quiet Place’.
The 38-year-old actor-and-filmmaker has admitted he was most anxious about working with the 35-year-old star – with whom he has four-year-old Hazel and two-year-old Violet – on the thriller because he was conscious that he didn’t want to mess up and make her think he’s not very good at what he does.
He confessed: “It was a terrifying prospect at first.
“I was very nervous about directing her’ because you want to look confident and be able to impress the person you love with your work.
“You don’t want to let that person down or make them feel that maybe you’re not as talented as they might have hoped!”
The ‘Office’ star admits he didn’t realise just how “incredibly talented” the ‘Marry Poppins Returns’ star really is, until they worked together.
He told heat magazine: “I don’t think I knew how incredibly talented Emily was until I started directing and acting with her in the movie.
“I remember one day when I was looking for editing space and I bumped into [director] Rob Marshall, who was in the process of editing my little indie movie – ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ … I told Rob that I was going to be directing Emily and he told me, ‘You won’t know how good she is until you’re on the set with her and watching her reactions and acting with her.
“That’s when you’re going to discover how great she is!’
And he was right. Every day on the set with her was an extraordinary experience for me. She’s amazing.”
John says it’s a “real joy” to be able to share his family and career with his spouse, and he only hopes he can carry on “exceeding” his own “expectations”.
He said: “My life is such a joy, being a father and being able to share my success with Emily and building our family together.
“There’s nothing better than making pancakes on a Sunday morning and then going for a walk in the park with Emily and the kids.
“I’ve very grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, and the real challenge for me is to continue exceeding my own expectations.”

Maya Jama makes sure her Instagram reflects her real life

OHMYGOSSIP — Maya Jama makes sure her social media profiles reflect her real life.
The BBC Radio 1 presenter – who is dating grime star Stormzy – loves to give her followers an insight into her personal life and regularly posts photos on her Instagram make-up free and when she’s all dressed up to show she is just like everyone else.
The 24-year-old star also does it because if she’s ever papped in a bad angle, she has “worse” photos of herself on the app.
She told heat magazine: I try to make my Instagram reflect how I really am and I don’t always look glamorous and dolled-up. So, I thought, ‘Right, I’m going to put up a silly pic that’s not pristine or filtered.’
“It’s also a self-protective thing.
“I feel like nobody can get any ugly pictures of me because I’ve posted worse.”
Maya previously admitted she doesn’t feel pressured into dressing up for the cameras.
The brunette beauty was initially horrified when she realised her job at the UK radio station meant there’d be photographers waiting every day, but she quickly realised it would be unrealistic for her to glam up for every show, just to avoid unflattering pictures.
She said: “When I first left the studio and saw the camera people, I was like, oh my God, say goodbye to tracksuits and no make-up days. But now I’m like, you know what? I’m here every Friday and Saturday, so you’re going to take me as I am.”
But Maya likes to make an effort when she’s going somewhere special.
Asked how to describe her style, she said: “Super comfy and casual, then also super slinky and sexy. I go from tracksuit bottoms in the day to a bodycon dress in the evening.”

Lily Allen details Liam Gallagher romp

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen has detailed her sex romp with Liam Gallagher.
The 33-year-old singer met the former Oasis frontman on a plane on the way to Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival in 2009 and the pair proceeded to get drunk and have sex in the toilets, before heading to his hotel together after they landed.
In an excerpt from her upcoming autobiography, ‘My Thoughts Exactly’, obtained by The Sun on Sunday, Lily writes: “We got hammered on the plane. At some point Liam and I found ourselves together in the toilet doing something that he shouldn’t have been doing, and it wasn’t drugs. Then we were in a lie-down bed together.
“When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, ‘What you doing now? Why don’t you come back to our hotel’ . . .  I was like, ‘Yeah, OK’.”
However, Liam, 45, was married to All Saints singer Nicole Appleton at the time and he begged Lily never to reveal their fling.
Lily adds: “It wasn’t until the next day when he said something like, ‘No one can hear about this because of Nic,’ that I clocked he was married. I knew Noel was married and I knew Liam had been married to Patsy Kensit. That was partly why I fancied him. I’d grown up an Oasis fan. I was 12 when he and Patsy Kensit were on the cover of Vanity Fair as the coolest couple.”
However, six months later Nicole discovered the truth and Liam asked Lily to lie to his wife.
She writes: “Six months later I was in my car with my driver when the phone rang. . .  It was Liam. He sounded awful, like he’d been up all night. ‘Lil,’ he said. ‘I just need you to get on the phone. I’ve got Nic here,. One of your mates is, like, trying to do a wind-up or something and saying that you and me had it off or whatever, and I need you to speak to Nic and say that it’s all b*****ks.’
“Oh, Liam, yes sure, it’s all b*****ks. Let’s say it’s all b*****ks — of course I’ll tell Nicole that it’s all b*****ks if that’s what you want — and not think about it too much or even at all, and then maybe it will go away and not disrupt what really matters: The people we love and rely on.”

George Clooney taugh John Krasinski importance of good script

OHMYGOSSIP — George Clooney taught John Krasinski the “importance of a good script”.
The Hollywood legend passed down the invaluable advice when the pair worked on ‘Leatherheads’ in 2008.
Krasinski recalled: “George taught me the importance of a good script.
“He said that, as a director, you can always make a bad movie out of a good script, but you can never make good movie out of a band script.
“I agree with him and I’ve seen both those things happen many times.
“You have to be willing to devote a few years of your life to getting the script done.
“George said that you need to believe that you have your own specific take on a project and that you can bring something to directing the film that no one else can.”
Krasinski had the opportunity to helm the thriller ‘A Quiet Place’, which he also stars in alongside his real-life wife Emily Blunt.
Asked if he’s sponged tips off the variety of different filmmakers he’s worked with over the years, the ‘Monsters University’ star said:”I’ve been intent on trying to learn and steal as much as possible from all the great directors I’ve had a chance to work with.
“On every project, you can discover so many insights into the directing process, working with actors, and how to move a story forward.
“There are so many aspects of the job that are going to make the difference between a good and bad film or TV show.”
John will “definitely” be involved in the ‘A Quiet Place’ sequel.
Although there was some concern that the co-writer, director, and star would not be free to work on the follow-up due to filming commitments on Amazon’s Jack Ryan series, producer Andrew Form insists that the studio Paramount is not rushing a sequel and will fit in with John’s schedule.
He said recently: “Oh [Krasinski is] definitely involved. We’re lucky on this one. I’ve had movies where the studio says to you, ‘Here’s your date. Let’s go!’ and on this one we’re not rushing anything, which is amazing. So we’re gonna take our time, we’re gonna figure out where to go, but there is no rush on it and we’re just starting to talk about it. We’re figuring out what everyone’s involvement’s gonna be and what the actual next movie’s gonna be. The first one is so special to us that we really want to take our time with this and not rush anything.”

No director plans for Keira Knightley

OHMYGOSSIP — Keira Knightley does not want to direct.
Although the ‘Colette’ actress is hugely supportive of female filmmakers in Hollywood, she insisted she has no plans to move behind the camera.
Keira, 33, told the Hollywood Reporter: “No, no. But there’s a lot of talented female directors. I think that they need to be supported. I think that female point of view is very important. I think we need more [directors of photography], more producers, and we need more writers, so I think we really need to push for representation.”
Keira stars in ‘Colette’ as the renowned French novelist – also known as Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette – who was nominated for a Nobel Prize for literature in 1948 and is famed for writing ‘Gigi’, a novel about a young Parisian girl being groomed for a career as a courtesan.
The film tells the true story of the author – who was born in 1873 – and her first marriage to the fashionable socialite Willy Gauthier-Villars, who was also a writer, music critic and her mentor.
Willy locked his wife up to write novels for him that subsequently became huge best sellers and made him rich, though Colette inevitably rose out of his shadow.
While Keira loved the script, director Wash Westmoreland admitted confirming the actress for the role proved tricky, due to some phone drama.
He said: “As soon as she read the script, she was really into it, and I was at Shanghai Film Festival, and I got a message: Keira Knightley wants to FaceTime you. It came through a few hours later, and I had like 15 percent on my phone, so it was the fastest conversation that’s ever happened. We got down to 2 percent, and the battery was red, and I said, ‘Keira, no one can do this role as well as you,’ and she goes, ‘Oh, go on, let’s do it!’ And the phone died.”

Steven Tai and Rankin team up for Portrait Positive campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Designer Steven Tai and photographer Rankin have teamed up to challenge beauty standards at London Fashion Week.
The fashion designer and the world-renowned photographer have joined forces alongside UK charity Changing Faces to launch the Portrait Positive project, which will challenge perceptions of beauty through a series of striking images of 16 different women with visible facial and bodily differences, and will be showcased during London Fashion Week.
Conceived by Stephen Bell, the project was shot by Rankin and the women were dressed in designs by Steven Tai, who will use three of the women from the series in his catwalk presentation on Sunday (16.09.18).
Steven’s presentation will be followed by a panel discussion at London Fashion Week about the fashion industry’s limited conceptions of beauty.
Photographer Rankin said of the project: “Living with a visible difference you are literally judged by your appearance and compared to what I think is a fake idea of what it is to be beautiful or even ‘normal’. The only way to shift this perception is to talk about it and face it head on. Our amazing subjects are dealing with these issues with grace, dignity and strength. It was an absolute honour to work with them and try to create a discussion around what it is to be beautiful. To me they are all unique.”
The Portrait Positive images have also been collated into a book of the same name, and proceeds will be donated to Changing Faces, a charity which aims to assist 1.3 million children, young people and adults in the UK who have a medical condition, mark or scar that makes them look different.
Becky Hewitt, CEO of Changing Faces, said in a press release: “As a charity that supports people with visible differences, we are delighted to be part of a movement that challenges the way the fashion industry represents difference. We want to break down barriers and change the narrow view of beauty that exists in society, especially in the fashion industry. These amazing images by Rankin will help to address the stigma around ‘looking different’ and show that true beauty is about being proud to be yourself. We want to see brands, publications and designers work with real people of all appearances so that fashion is accessible to all.”
The Portrait Positive book will launch on September 25, and will be available to purchase on the Portrait Positive website as well as select stores, boutique and art spaces across the UK.

Ashley Graham wants to change beauty perceptions

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham wants to change people’s perceptions of beauty.
The 30-year-old plus-sized model is a huge advocate for body positivity and wants to continue to “educate people on their worth” although she feels there’s still a lot of work to be done in the TV and film industries.
In an interview with Grazia magazine, she said: “I am just going to continue to change people’s perspective of what beauty is and educate people on their worth, but TV and film have a long way to go.
“We just need to make it normal and soon you and I won’t have the conversation about inclusion.”
The ‘America’s Next Top Model’ judge is collaborating with Marina Rinaldi, the luxury Italian brand which caters for sizes up to 28 – and the curvaceous brunette thinks all women want quality clothes no matter their body shape.
She said: “If you ask the majority of women, they just want quality no matter what their size. They want something that won’t be destroyed in the wash and that they can wear for a couple of years.”
Ashley – who is married to Justin Ervin – uses her own social media accounts to share honest photos of her body with her followers as she wants to empower all women.
She previously said: “When I model, I think about how other women will want to look and feel in the clothing that I am wearing, since I was art directing this shoot, I knew I wanted it to be slightly edgy, but still have an approachable look for the customer.
“There is a community of women who follow me and other women for positivity, for inspiration, for images that might reflect what they look like. If me posting my cellulite will empower another woman, then I’m going to do that and ignore the haters!”

Graeme Swann will only take Strictly advice from winning cricketers

OHMYGOSSIP — Graeme Swann will only take ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ advice from winners.
The 39-year-old star will be competing on the news series of the BBC ballroom contest, and despite a number of his fellow athletes appearing in the past, he’s only interested in talking to fellow cricketers Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash, after they triumphed on the show in 2005 and 2006 respectively.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “There are two cricketers who have won before, but there are two who haven’t. Goughie and Ramps, they won it early on.
“Mark Ramprakash is the best dancer I have ever seen who is not a professional. He was magnificent, so if I seek tips, I’ll find Ramps.
“I won’t find Tuffers and Vaughnie. I still work with them every day, they are great fun but I haven’t asked for advice.”
Phil Tufnell and Michael Vaughan both only made it to week nine in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
The Ashes champion – who is teamed with pro dancer Obi Mabuse – does fancy his own chances this year, and insisted he wouldn’t have signed up for the show if it wasn’t for the competitive element, or if he didn’t believe he’d be in with a real shot of winning the Glitterball Trophy.
He added: “My glass is always very half full. If it was just a fun thing and no one got voted off, it wouldn’t have appealed to me. I wouldn’t have entered it if I didn’t know it would be competitive.”
Graeme recently admitted he wanted to follow in the footsteps of the winning cricketers on the show.
He said: “I’m hoping to follow in the footsteps of the cricketers who’ve come before me who’ve either won the whole thing or had an absolute ball on the show.
“Keeping it under wraps from my kids has been nearly impossible; they are huge fans of the show and I can’t wait to see their faces when I tell them.
“I don’t have any background in dancing but can do the floss so let’s hope this comes in useful!”

AJ Pritchard put on a stone during Celebrity MasterChef

OHMYGOSSIP — AJ Pritchard put on a stone while filming ‘Celebrity MasterChef’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro has had to get back in shape after piling on the pounds after tasting all of his own dishes during his multiple trial runs.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “It’s because I was trialling my dishes again and again. Luckily it’s all gone now I’m dancing again.
“I just love to eat and to practise cooking, especially when I had the opportunity to cook desserts. I wanted to eat all of them and cook again.”
On ‘Strictly’ AJ, 23, has to face the wrath of Craig Revel Horwood and his fellow judges Bruno Tonioli, Shirley Ballas and Darcey Bussell, but he insisted Gregg Wallace and John Torode were much scarier.
He said: “I was like a rabbit caught in headlights. On ‘Strictly’ I know what to anticipate, but John and Gregg were more terrifying.”
He was trialling his dishes so often he managed to buy all the racks of lamb in his local villages.
She said: “I was getting through five or six racks of lamb a day and, in five days, all my local villages had run out. I had to drive to a neighbouring town to find food.”
AJ will be competing with the likes of Frankie Bridge, Gemma Collins and Spencer Matthews on the cooking show, and he is set to dance alongside Paralympic swimmer Lauren Steadman in the new series of ‘Strictly’.
He recently said: “I’m excited I’ve got Lauren, she’s a really inspirational person.”

Jennie McAlpine baby bump covered by Ford Fiesta on Corrie set

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ producers had to use a Ford Fiesta to cover Jennie McAlpine’s baby bump.
The 34-year-old star – who plays Fiz Stape on the ITV soap – says the ‘Corrie’ crew had to reverse a car on the cobbles set recently because her bump was on show.
She said: “We started [covering the bump] with a mug, and then a handbag. I kid you not, last week they hid it with a Ford Fiesta.
“They said, ‘Can we just move that car back a bit?’ I said, ‘Is this for my bump?’ They said, ‘Yeah, we can see it a bit, but it’s going to help.’ ”
Jennie revealed ‘Corrie’ returnee Maureen Lipman’s character Evelyn Plummer – Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) grandmother – will be “very involved” in her alter-ego’s exit storyline when she goes on maternity leave.
She said: “I’ve got a couple of weeks left filming with the brilliant Maureen.
“She’s going to take Fiz’s place while I’m gone.
“Evelyn is very involved [with Fiz’s exit storyline].
“She’s not impressed with our family set up. She’s not impressed with Fiz as a wife and mother. It doesn’t go very well for the next few weeks, then the family things get a bit … yeah.”
But Jennie – who has three-year-old son Albert with husband Chris Farr – expects to return to Weatherfield after giving birth to her second child, because she is yet to find out that Fiz is getting bumped off.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, she added: “So far, I haven’t read any scripts where I die.”

Albert Hammond Jr: The Strokes will never split up

OHMYGOSSIP — Albert Hammond Jr. says The Strokes will never “split up”.
The ‘Last Nite’ hitmakers – who formed in 1998 – haven’t released new music since 2013’s ‘Comedown Machine’, and while it doesn’t look likely that there will be any new songs from the US rock band anytime soon, the band’s keyboardist and songwriter says they have no plans to dissolve.
Asked if it’s likely he won’t work with the band – also comprised of Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Nikolai Fraiture and Fabrizio Moretti – with his solo career doing so well, he told the Metro newspaper: “Definitely not, in fact, the bigger were I to get, the more likely they would be to both exist.
“I know The Strokes will be a band, whatever.
“I don’t think we’d ever say we’ve split up because we’ve been together too long to do that.”
Last year, Albert’s father claimed that the group had been back in the studio recording their sixth studio LP with producer Rick Rubin.
The band denied it at the time, and frontman Julian later took the opportunity to shoot down rumours and admitted he was “focused” on his other project The Voidz.
However, he did tease that new music would come out in the future.
He said: “I’m really focused on The Voidz right now. Some new stuff will come out soon. With The Strokes, I don’t know – there’s no news right now.”
Albert released his fourth solo record ‘Francis Trouble’ in March.
Whilst Julian’s band dropped ‘Virtue’ – their second record – the same month.
Meanwhile, Julian previously admitted he wasn’t sure if fans of The Strokes would embrace the latest record from The Voidz.
He said: “If you’re interested in the evolution of music, then I’d say yes, definitely. If you want to listen to mainstream indie rock, maybe not.
“I don’t understand some of those people from the old school who grew up loving The Strokes and are now criticising this new exploration.”

Jermaine Jackson must pay spousal support to ex

OHMYGOSSIP — Jermaine Jackson has been ordered to pay his estranged wife spousal support.
The 63-year-old singer split from Halima Rashid in June 2016 and a court has now told him to make temporary payments of $2,500 a month until their divorce trial in December.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Jermaine also has to pay retroactive support dating back to June 1 2018 but the judge said he can pay that $10,000 in five monthly installments.
Jermaine’s monthly payments to Halima – who he married in August 2004 – will be handed over on the first and 15th of every month.
Speaking previously about their split, Halima said their lives would be better if they divorced.
She said: “With a great amount of sorrow and regret, I announce that I am filing for divorce from Jermaine Jackson.
“We have enjoyed many good times during our marriage of nearly 12 years, but we have reached a point where our lives would be better and more productive if we are not married. I respect and care for Jermaine and his legendary family, and feel blessed to have been a part of the Jacksons.
“At this time, I ask that our friends, family members and the media respect the difficulty of this decision and allow us privacy as we move on with our lives. Thank you very much.”
In November 2015, Halima was arrested on a domestic violence charge amid claims she bit her husband’s leg.
She was taken into police custody, charged with felony corporal injury and released on $50,000 bail.
However, the case was dropped because prosecutors couldn’t determine who the aggressor in the fight was.
Following the incident, Jermaine insisted he still loved his wife and wanted to work things out.
He said: “It’s obvious, I’ve been with Halima for 11 years, I still love her, things happen. She is still my wife.”
Jermaine and Halima met in January 2004 at a Starbucks and were married eight months later.

Chrissy Teigen helped by eating placenta

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen thinks eating her placenta stopped her from suffering post-partum depression.
The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star has been open about her struggle with the condition after the birth of her daughter Luna two years ago and she believes she has avoided the mental health disorder since having son Miles in May this year because she consumed the after birth.
But when interviewer Rita Braver expressed her doubts about eating placenta in an upcoming 40th anniversary ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ special, Chrissy laughed and said: “Really? That’s not a normal thing? I’m in L.A., it’s very normal. They grill it here. You can try some of mine after.”
The 32-year-old beauty – who is married to John Legend – has spoken openly about her fertility struggles and going through IVF and admitted she did so because she views her fans as her friends.
She admitted: “I think people on social media are my friends and I think they deserved to know.
“I don’t know, is that so weird?”
The Sports Illustrated model also confessed she cares more about eating food that she enjoys than what she looks like in a swimsuit these days.
She said: “I really prefer being happy and getting to eat things that I love, still wanting to be healthy. But I just don’t care about looking good in a swimsuit anymore. I guess that’s the only way to put it.”
Chrissy previously confessed she was “worried” about getting postpartum depression for a second time when she was expecting her son.
She said: “Do I worry about it with this little boy? I do. But I also know that when it does happen – if it does – I’m so ready for it. I have the perfect people around me for it. That’s why I stand for a real core group of people around me.”

Nikki Bella has amazing connection with John Cena

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella shares an “amazing connection” with John Cena.
The ‘Total Bellas’ star may have split from her former fiance but she insists they are still close and it was easy for them to stay friends.
She told E! News: “We are [the best of friends] I think it’s when you have an amazing connection with someone and you just stay friends.”
And Nikki also has a “special” bond with her 16-month-old niece Birdie, the daughter of her twin sister Brie Bella and husband Daniel Bryan.
She said: “I make all my happy hours the minute she gets fussy, even though Birdie and I have such a special connection. If anything, I want to bring her to happy hour.”
Meanwhile, Brie is “freaking out” over how quickly the youngster is growing up.
She said in the joint interview: “Her new words are coffee and balloon, which I love because she helps me make coffee every morning.
“It’s crazy because now that we’ve made our comeback to the WWE ring, it’s weird that now she knows our entrance music, she knows us in the ring,
“She’s becoming like a toddler. It’s freaking me out.”
The 34-year-old wrestler recently admitted she’s looking forward to the future following the end of her six-year relationship with John.
She said: “I’m really enjoying being an entrepreneur [and] I’m very excited for my comeback at WWE.
“I just have this goal in my head of what I want to conquer as an independent woman and I’m going to get there. And I can’t wait to be on the cover of Forbes, so look out!”
And the brunette beauty thinks it’s important she learns how to love herself before she dates again.
She explained: “It was quite a journey to really love myself. But I think when you go through so much, I don’t want to say hate but criticism, it makes you do two things: You can even go in a way to please other people or you can take a good look at yourself and go, ‘This is who I am. This is how I was made and I’m going to love it. And I’m just going to shine that confidence through.’ You’re better in a relationship when you fully have that self-love and love yourself and know who you are because then you’re just so confident in that relationship.”

Blake Lively’s rude confusion

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Lively was stunned when mistakenly thought a reporter complimented her “t*ts”.
The 31-year-old actress – who has daughters James, three, and Ines, 23 months, with husband Ryan Reynolds – wore a revealing black shirt under a Givenchy suit to the New York premiere of her movie ‘A Simple Favor’ and she admonished a man on the red carpet when she thought he was commenting on her assets being visible through her top.
She told talk show host Jimmy Fallon she heard: “Your t*ts are amazing!”
She added: “I’m like, what? Are we saying that? Have you been on Google in the past year? This is not OK.”
But after a few minutes of confusion, the reporter added: “And your husband’s tweets are even better!”
Blake laughed: “And I’m like, ‘Oh, tweets! Twitter!’ ”
But the ‘Shallows’ star joked she was then disappointed after finally understanding the comments.
She quipped: “I was so relieved it was about my mind, and then after I was like, ‘But how [is my chest]…How are they?'”
Blake admitted she was self-conscious about her red carpet outfit because she had no idea it was so revealing until she stepped out.
She said: “It’s actually a men’s suit, believe it or not. But what nobody really realises, see the look of horror on my face?
“I didn’t realise it was see-through, the shirt. That’s not a look I was going for. Because it’s a men’s shirt!
“You know when you’re freaking out about something and you know that’s all anyone else is seeing?
“You know, you’re aware of it, so everything everyone says is pointing out this thing you’re paranoid about, but no one’s really noticing.”
