Christine Lampard gives birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine Lampard has given birth to a baby girl.
The 39-year-old presenter and her husband Frank Lampard – who already has daughters Luna, 13, and Isla, 11, and with ex-wife Elen Rivas – are “so in love” with the new addition to their family, who has been named Patricia Charlotte in honour of the Derby County manager’s late mother Pat.
Christine shared a photo of herself, Frank and their baby in hospital on Instagram on Friday (21.09.18) and wrote: “Let us introduce you to our little girl. Patricia Charlotte Lampard! We’re so in love [heart emojis] @franklampard (sic)”
Just a few weeks ago, Christine said she was feeling “relatively relaxed” about having her baby.
She said: “I am looking forward to baby time and that new chapter really. I am very excited.
“I’m relatively relaxed. Because of what I do and what my husband does, we are always open to change.
“We have been all over the place and have moved about 20 times during our relationship.
“You have to be adaptable but as long as your foundations don’t change too much, you can work around everything.
“I wish sometimes I was more of a planner but I don’t seem to have that gene in me.
“People are telling me, and I would like to think I’m like that anyway, to do my best to relax into it and don’t put too much pressure on myself.”
But the ‘Loose Women’ star knows there’s lots of people around her who she can go to if she has any questions.
She said: “One of my close friends is due two weeks before me and my old boss is due two days after me.
“We are all asking questions, me more than anyone.
“I have a sister, parents, a good network.”

Bonnie Langford quit EastEnders due to gruelling schedule

OHMYGOSSIP — Bonnie Langford quit ‘EastEnders’ due to the soap’s gruelling schedule.
The 54-year-old actress will bow out of her role as Carmel Kazemi in the coming weeks, and the former ‘Doctor Who’ star admits she needed to “come up for air” after finding it tough to arrange anything in her private life due to her filming commitments on the BBC One soap.
She said: “In ‘EastEnders’, you don’t know when you are going to be needed, you are on call all the time and don’t know your availability until the Friday before.
“Silly things, like booking a dentist appointment, become impossible. That sounds like a stupid thing to have as an issue, but after a while you don’t know where you are. I started to think I needed to come up for air a little bit.
“I needed to do other stuff, to get out there and feed that other part of my soul. You have to nurture the whole lot, otherwise you can’t do your job properly.”
Bonnie also claimed she didn’t receive any “support” from ‘EastEnders’ team while playing out the recent hard-hitting knife crime storyline which saw Carmel’s son Shakil Kazemi (Shaheen Jafargholi) tragically stabbed to death by a gang.
When asked if she was supported by the ‘EastEnders’ team during the plot, she replied: “No, but I had support at home.”
Bonnie has wasted no time seeking other opportunities away from Albert Square after landing the role of Dorothy Brock in musical ’42nd Street’, and she started show rehearsals just two days after she finished filming in Walford.
She added to The Stage magazine: “At the beginning of the year I thought I needed to do some live stuff.
“I’d been thinking if it could fit around ‘EastEnders’ that would be great, but if not that would be fine too.”

Charlize Theron says Fair and Balanced tells an ‘important’ story

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlize Theron thinks it’s important to tell real-life stories of harassment and intimidation.
The Academy Award-winning actress plays the role of American TV presenter Megyn Kelly in an upcoming drama about the fall of Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, and Charlize has revealed why she was determined to become involved with ‘Fair and Balanced’, which is helmed by Jay Roach.
She explained: “I think it’s an important story.
“It was written really well, and I think it was the writing, and the filmmaker, that made me realise it was in the right hands.”
The upcoming movie focuses on the story of a woman at Fox News who decided to fight back against harassment and intimidation, which led to Ailes being fired by the TV network.
Charlize told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We need to tell these stories, for sure.”
Meanwhile, Charlize previously claimed that being an immigrant in America encouraged her to work extra hard to make it in Hollywood.
The 43-year-old actress has established herself as one of the movie industry’s most in-demand stars, but she admitted that her original ambitions were much more modest.
Charlize explained: “My dream was to pay my bills and not have to get a second job. I loved having the opportunities I got in acting, and I worked hard knowing that those opportunities could be fleeting.
“I could be on a flight back to South Africa. I didn’t have a family in the US; I didn’t have a support system here. That drove me – I was responsible for myself, and I could not take anything for granted.”

The ‘Back For Good’ hitmakers – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – have today released lead single ‘Pray’ from the forthcoming record, and Gary has assured fans that they have been “respectful” to the original songs, which have been overseen by long-time producer Stuart Price, whilst also giving them a new lease of life.
Gary said: “Some have been reworked, but without spoiling what people loved about them in the first place.

He said: “I’m up for it. But I don’t know what their calendar says, what my calendar says. I don’t know what their manager says.
“We’d all love to do it. I’d love to get Jason back involved, realistically I don’t think so.

Madelaine Petsch used a breadstick as a hair tie

OHMYGOSSIP — Madelaine Petsch used a breadstick as a hair accessory.
The 24-year-old actress may be known for her flowing red locks, but during a recent vacation – she was forced to find a creative solution to her lack of hair care products.
The ‘Riverdale’ star shared a filtered selfie on Instagram wearing sunglasses with a large arrow pointing towards her long red hair, which had been tied back in a bun – but instead of a hair pin, she used a breadstick.
She wrote: “Can’t find a hair tie? Use a breadstick.”
The ‘Polaroid’ actress is used to being creative with her looks, and recently designed her own line of sunglasses with her character Cheryl Blossom from the hit CW show, ‘Riverdale’ in mind.
Madelaine teamed up with sunglasses brand Privé Revaux – whose frames have been seen on Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively and Nick Jonas – to create five frames; the round and retro ‘Street’, small and colourful ‘Candy’, oversized cat-eye ‘Mister’, classic square ‘Clique’ and modern aviator style ‘Rogue’ and the actress explained her designs were influenced by the characters on ‘Riverdale.
She said: “Cheryl would wear the black Misters. They’re edgy, classy, and they’ve got that little feisty cat wing at the end, which is why I totally think she would wear them. I actually made these particular glasses with her in mind.
“Veronica would definitely wear my purple Candy’s. She wears a lot of purples and blues on the show.
“The rose gold Streets feel very Betty to me. They remind me of a different era, and to me Betty feels like she’s from a different time. They’re sweet-looking, like Betty, so I totally see her pulling them off.”

Alex Turner has new girlfriend

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Turner has a new girlfriend.
The Arctic Monkeys frontman only split from Taylor Bagley – whom he was dating for three years – back in July, but he’s wasted no time getting back on the market as he’s said to be enjoying a string of dates with French singer Louise Verneuil.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It is still very early days but Alex has been spending time with Louise during the band’s current tour. Things only recently ended with Taylor so he isn’t rushing into anything serious.”
And it seems Louise has had her eye on the 32-year-old rocker for a while as she admitted in 2016 that she wanted to marry him after attending one of his gigs.
An insider explained: “They enjoy each other’s company and it’s no secret that Louise has always held a flame for Alex. Her friends know he is exactly her type so she is obviously very happy they have grown close.”
Although it’s still early days at the moment, things between the pair are hotting up quite quickly as Alex introduced Louise to his father earlier this week when he took her along for a family meal in his native Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
The news that Alex is now dating Louise will no doubt come as a blow to Taylor as they were together for such a long time and even had tattoos of one another.
A source said earlier this week “They were private about their relationship and never really spoke about each other. But behind closed doors they were really close for a long time and very much in love. In July they made the decision to separate, though. That’s why she hasn’t been with him while the band have been touring the UK. She has instead stayed home in the US.”

Duchess Meghan is ‘proud’ to live in diverse London

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duchess of Sussex is “proud to live in diverse London.”
The 37-year-old royal – who was known Meghan Markle before she married Prince Harry in May – moved over to the UK from the US when she got engaged to the flame-haired hunk last year and is so in love with her new home after witnessing how the city came together after the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower.
Speaking at the launch of her charity cookbook – created to help those affected blaze, which killed 72 people and injured hundreds when it ripped through a 24-storey block of flats in Kensington, West London, last June – she said: “I had just recently moved to London and I felt so immediately embraced by the women in the kitchen, the warmth and your kindness and also to be able in this city and to see in this one small room how multi-cultural it was. On a personal level, I feel so proud to live in a city that can have so much diversity. It’s pretty outstanding.”
The former ‘Suits’ actress was joined at the launch of her book ‘Together’, which is a compilation of recipes from families who lived in and around Grenfell, in Kensington Palace gardens by her husband Harry and her mother Doria Ragland.
Harry and Doria watched on affectionately as Meghan gave her speech to the community, admitting that the book had been a “tremendous labour of love.”
Doria – who was last seen in the UK when she attended the wedding of her daughter – was reportedly overheard introducing herself as “Meg’s mom.”
Her appearance at the launch is somewhat unusual as non-royal family members are not usually allowed to attend official royal engagements, Sky News reports.
However, although she’s not an official member of the royal family, there are talks of Doria moving from her home in California to be closer to Meghan in the UK.

Lily Allen didn’t see lesbian sex sessions as cheating

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen didn’t see her lesbian sex sessions as “cheating” on her then-husband Sam Cooper because the prostitutes were women.
The 33-year-old singer – who married Sam in 2011, and has daughters, six-year-old Ethel and five-year-old Marnie, with him – revealed in her new memoir ‘My Thoughts Exactly’ that she paid for sex with lady escorts while she was touring her 2014 album ‘Sheezus’ because she felt “lost and lonely.”
However, although some people were baffled by the revelation, the ‘Smile’ hitmaker didn’t think there was anything wrong with it because they were all girls.
Speaking on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, she said: “I was in hotel rooms and was feeling quite lonely and had been drinking a lot. Usually drugs and alcohol seem to sustain something in me and it didn’t feel like anything was working any more.
“I’d just been reading a book about addiction and shame and it introduced me to the idea of sex addiction, so I thought, ‘Why not give this a go?’
“It was a low point and this part of the book I’m really not glamorising it in any way, shape or form… It is sad. It is really sad.”
Jonathan asked her if she made the decision to pay for sex because she was looking for “companionship, sexual gratification or just not to be alone”.
To which she replied: “A bit of all of the above. And curiosity. And because it was a woman I felt like it wasn’t cheating. I was bonkers.”
Jonathan asked: “So you were drinking and using substances at that time?”
She explained: “Probably, I can’t even remember, I just remember the cash running out and her being like ‘Time is up’ and me being like: ‘Okay I’m going to the cash point!’ I had to go to about four different machines.”
The ‘Not Fair’ hitmaker announced in 2016 that she had filed for divorce from Sam after a year of speculation, and they officially finalised things this year.
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday (22.09.18) at 9.50pm on ITV.

Jane Fonda ‘hates’ plastic surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Fonda “hates” that she’s had to have plastic surgery.
The 80-year-old actress is glad she looks “good” for her age but she’s disappointed that she had to rely on cosmetic operations to achieve that look.
Speaking in New York City for a Q&A about her HBO film ‘Jane Fonda in Five Acts’, she said: “On one level, I hate the fact that I’ve had the need to alter myself physically to feel that I’m OK. I’m not going to lie about that. I got tired of looking tired when I wasn’t. I wish I wasn’t like that. I love older faces. I love lived-in faces. I loved Vanessa Redgrave’s face. I wish I was braver. But I am what I am.”
Although she’s had to turn to the knife to keep her youthful glow, the ‘Monster-in-Law’ star has managed to keep her slim physique by working out regularly.
She added: “Just more slowly now.”
Jane also believes posture and the way she carries herself helps her look young.
She explained: “When I stand up straight, it’s a whole different thing. Your age is less chronological and more attitudinal.”
Meanwhile, Jane recently claimed that her life was “defined by the men” around her – including father Henry Fonda, and three husbands Roger Vadim, Tom Hayden, and Ted Turner – but when she finally started living for herself instead of aiming “to please”, she was able to be the person she was “supposed to be”.
She said: “Up until my sixties, I was to an extent, defined by the men in my life. I was brought up to please. I wanted my father to love me so I would turn myself into a pretzel to be what he wanted me to be, not necessarily what I already was. It took me getting into my sixties, and then I began to become who I was supposed to be all along.”

Natalie J Robb: Soaps stars ‘don’t have much life’ during busy plots

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie J. Robb says soap stars “don’t have much of a life” when they are heavily involved in a storyline.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress admitted it is “nice” having a break from portraying Moira Dingle – who she has played since 2009 in the ITV soap – because the show’s schedule can be really busy when a character is heavily involved in a big storyline.
When asked if it is a relief that things are a bit calmer for Moira at the moment, she replied: “I still love being involved in storylines, of course. But it is nice having some time off and getting to see your friends and family that you don’t get to see when you’re full-on busy.”
While Natalie loves playing her character, she “doesn’t stop” during busy times, which sees the former ‘Dream Team’ star having to learn lines at night and act them out during the day.
She added: “When you are busy like you can be you don’t really have much of a life, and you have to learn your lines at night, so it doesn’t stop.”
The 43-year-old actress’ latest storyline has seen Ash Palmisciano join the soap as Matty Barton, who was previously known as Moira’s daughter Hannah Barton, and the star advised him to “stay grounded” and ignore online trolls before he made his Dales debut.
She said: “I’m very protective. I’ve said to him, ‘This is going to change your life. Don’t worry about what’s on social media. Just keep a level head and stay grounded.’ And he will.”
When Matty turned up at Butlers Farm, Moira instantly recognised him as her daughter Hannah, and Natalie enjoyed the real-life comparisons to the plot.
She added: “He’s actually been through this. That’s what I love about this story – we are dealing with something that is really happening and that’s wonderful.
“It’s daunting, it’s challenging and it’s scary thinking that people have been through this.”

Rod Stewart: Elton John has the hump with me over retirement tease

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Rod Stewart admits Sir Elton John has “the hump” with him after he mocked him over his retirement tour.
The 73-year-old rocker has been asked by his wife Lady Penny Lancaster to apologise to the ‘Candle in the Wind’ hitmaker after he criticised him for announcing he’ll be turning his back on live performances after a final tour of 300-plus concerts over three years.
The ‘Maggie May’ hitmaker plans on saying he’s sorry and has praised Elton for “working harder” than him, but he also added fuel to the fire by joking that the 71-year-old star doesn’t play for very long at his shows.
When quizzed on the tour being the biggest farewell in history, Rod told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Yeah! And he hasn’t actually said it’s a farewell yet!
“He said: ‘Well, I might still do the odd show here and there …’ But, no, he’s really got the hump with me.
“When he did announce it, I sent him a text: ‘What again dear?’ And I got nothing back!
“Tumbleweed!”
“Penny says I’ve got to phone him up. I will.
“I will get round to it. He’s got two kids so I can understand why he wants to pack it in.
“Cause he’s always worked harder than me. Wow, does he work hard.
” Really does. But he only sings for 30 minutes.”
The ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ hitmaker sent an email to lovingly mock his long-time pal earlier this year, and insisted if he ever decides to call time on his career he won’t use his retirement to try and create interest.
Asked about Elton’s retirement, Rod said: “I did email him and said, ‘What? Again, dear?’ I didn’t hear anything back.
“I have never spoken about retirement. If I do retire, I won’t make an announcement, I’ll just fade away. I don’t think it’s a big deal, ‘I’m going to retire.’ It stinks of selling tickets.
It’s dishonest. It’s not rock ‘n’ roll.”

Rita Ora hates going on dates

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora gets “crazy anxiety” before a date.
The ‘RIP’ hitmaker has admitted she would prefer to be wooed over drinks than be treated to a sit-down lavish meal by a man because the thought of having to make small talk for an hour while they stuff their faces sends her nerves into overdrive.
Speaking in a pre-recorded interview on ‘The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 with Marvin Humes’, which will air on Sunday (23.09.18) from 4pm, she said when asked why fans can never seem to find her on dating apps: “you’ve got to do a little bit more than swipe [on Tinder].
“Dates freak me out. I get crazy anxiety. I don’t want any pressure. I’d rather have like a little drink. I just find it weird so a little drink is the easiest way.”
Although she’s not keen on dating, the 27-year-old singer recently admitted that she’s constantly being hounded by men trying their luck on social media and, although she usually ignores them, she sometimes entertains them if she’s bored.
When asked if she gets DMs from men on social media, she said: “I get a few, I’m not going to lie and say I don’t sometimes entertain it… But sometimes I completely ignore it and it’s a little rude as I didn’t see that there’s a thing that says you’ve read the messages so I’m reading the messages and it just says read…”
When asked if it’s every hour, the blonde beauty laughed: “Is it bad to say yes Not being full-headed. It’s not like a focus on it, but I do get a few…”
Rita hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men as she was left heartbroken and embarrassed in the summer of 2014 when her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris released a statement on Twitter announcing their split without pre-warning her.
His announcement was nice, so it came as a surprise when he banned her from performing her track ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ because he had written and produced it.
That, in turn, meant Rita had to postpone the release of her fifth studio album because they had written and produced a lot of the songs together.
However, once they’d made amends, she was allowed to perform the track.

Dax Shepard jumps to wife Kristen’s defence after marijuana admission

OHMYGOSSIP — Dax Shepard has jumped to his wife Kristen Bell’s defence and told their critics to “get real” after she was slammed for smoking marijuana around him.
The ‘Frozen’ actress admitted earlier this week that she occasionally has a few puffs of weed to help her relax after a long week at work, but her honesty appalled some people as they hit out at her for teasing her sober husband.
Taking to Twitter after he was bombarded with messages, Dax – who battled with substance abuse since the age of 18 but has been sober for 14 years – fumed: “That would be like a diabetic expecting their partner to never eat dessert. Get real!”
One fan responded and admitted that he used to be a cocaine addict and if someone were to “do lines” in front of him he would have to “think about that.”
To which the 43-year-old actor replied: “Yeah, she could most definitely NOT do lines in front of me (sic).”
Dax then went on to say that it would be a “different” story if she was drinking in front of him because boozing is “a lot more dangerous” than smoking marijuana.
He explained: “Well it’s different in that drinking is much more dangerous.”
Kristen – who has two daughters Lincoln, five, and Delta, three, with Dax – found herself in the firing line this week when she said she smokes around her husband.
She said: “I smoke around my husband and it doesn’t seem to bother him.”
When asked how many times she lights up, she replied: “Once a week, if I am exhausted and we are about to sit down and watch 60 Minutes, why not?”
The 38-year-old star then went on to say that Dax has even tried to encourage to her dabble in harder drugs like ecstasy because everyone should “experience it.”
She said her husband believes “you shouldn’t leave earth without having tried mushrooms or ecstasy.”
And, despite his past, he understands that “he lost his privilege with them [drugs] because he can’t handle it; his brain doesn’t have the chemistry to handle it.”

Jessica Fox’s cheesy chow down

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Fox would gorge on cheese if she could only eat one type of food for the rest of her life.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star – who plays Nancy Osborne on the Channel 4 soap – would love to live out her days just chowing down on the dairy product if she was ever restricted to eating just one foodstuff.
Speaking in a Q&A on the ‘Hollyoaks’ Twitter account, she said: “If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would have to be cheese.
“Because you can have a great variety of cheese, and I don’t think there’s anything in life that can’t be improved with cheese.”
Jessica is not the only ‘Hollyoaks’ star keen to see out her time in life by eating cheese.
Sarah Jayne Dunn – who plays Nancy’s pal Mandy Morgan, who is soon to be her enemy after she cheated with her husband Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) – would love to consume cheese with “everything”.
Asked what her guilty pleasure is, she admitted: “Cheese! If I could have cheese with everything I would and that’s probably the hardest thing about cutting out dairy and being healthy.”
But neither Jessica nor Sarah seem to love cheese quite as much as ‘Coronation Street’ actor Sean Wilson (Martin Platt), who is such a big fan of the dairy produce that he became a cheesemaker when he left the soap in 2005.
The 53-year-old star – who made a brief return to the cobbles earlier this year – recently revealed he is taking his award-winning cheesemaking skills to the next level – by forging a career in cheese lecturing.
He wrote on Twitter: “At the request of Reaseheath College I’ll be returning to the class where it all started 10 years ago – as the lecturer.
John Alison and I will be hosting 2019 cheese making courses for all standards.
Please feel free to drop an inbox if interested Cheesemeisters. (sic)”
Sean offered fans a “good discount” if they enquire early about his cheesemaking courses, and told supporters the educational lessons could make a “great” Christmas present for people.
He tweeted: “Hey Cheesemeisters..
So, I’ll be hosting multi-day Soft Cheese Making classes at Reaseheath College, Cheshire in 2019.
This is where I started out 10 years ago and gave me a solid grounding.
Early enquiries get good discount. Just drop a message in inbox- great Xmas pressie (sic)”

Jack Fincham backs Dyer reality show

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Fincham thinks a reality show starring his girlfriend, Dani Dyer, and her dad Danny Dyer would be “good TV”.
The ‘Love Island’ winner and the ‘EastEnders’ actor have been rumoured to be landing their own fly-on-the-wall programme and her boyfriend is keen to get involved.
Asked if he’d make an appearance on the rumoured show, he said: “I suppose I’d have to, wouldn’t I? I’d just pop in and out whenever it was worthwhile. There’s something big going on? Oh, count me in…
“You know what, I think it would be funny. I think it would be good. Yeah, it would be good TV.
“[They’ve got] just like normal dad and daughter relationship. It’s good.”
One major storyline that could play out on the show is Jack’s proposal plans because he admitted he’d ask the ‘Football Factory’ star for permission before he pops the question to Dani – but won’t listen if the actor refuses.
Asked by Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast if he’d ask Danny’s permission to propose, he said: “Oh yeah, course you would! That’s traditional. I’m quite a traditional person so you would anyway. Yeah definitely, I’d go and ask him if I could marry his daughter.
“Imagine he said no! Nah mate, nah, sorry, I’d go ‘oh I’m gonna have to still do it anyway mate ’cause I’ve bought the ring.’ ”
And the 26-year-old reality star admitted getting married is on the cards.
Asked if he’s planning to propose, he said: “Yeah, eventually. Yeah, I like to think so.”
Tune into Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, week days from 6am – 10am and Saturdays from 6am – 9am.

Michael B. Jordan to play Tom Clancy character in new film series

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael B. Jordan is set to play the Tom Clancy character John Clark in a new film series.
The 31-year-old actor – who previously starred in ‘Creed’ and ‘Black Panther’ – has been approached by Paramount to play the hero in two upcoming movies, with an origin story planned for an adaptation of ‘Without Remorse’ and a sequel centred on ‘Rainbow Six’.
Michael is set to produce the project alongside Akiva Goldsman, Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, according to Variety, which reports that Paramount is currently meeting with writers and directors.
The studio has spent years trying to get movie adaptations off the ground, with Ryan Reynolds and Chris McQuarrie having previously been linked to the project.
Meanwhile, Michael recently signed up to produce the WWII movie ‘The Liberators’.
And the Hollywood star has admitted he wants to spend more time behind the camera in the coming years.
Michael – who runs the production company Outlier Society – said: “For me, producing and creating opportunities and telling stories is something that I’ve always been fascinated with.
“To be able to have my own production company, be able to start telling more stories and get more on that side of things, it’s important to me. So I’m not going to put a timeframe on it or whatever, but in the future for sure I’ll spend more time producing and hopefully directing and telling stories.
“Then I’ll pick my projects that I’m really passionate about, that I really want to do as far as getting in front of the camera and I’ll do those as well. It’s about trying to find a balance.”
