Amber Rose: Moms are sexy

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Rose insists mothers can still be “sexy”.
The 34-year-old model – who has son Sebastian, five, with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa – thinks it is “sad” that some women feel they have to change their image after having children.
She said: “Being a mother is the greatest gift but I think it’s a huge double-standard that you can’t be a mother and be sexy – of course you can.
“The idea that you can be one but not the other is very small-minded.
“It’s sad that people feel like they cannot shine in their authentic light because society has boxed you into only one category.”
And Amber – who is dating 23-year-old basketball player Monte Morris – thinks sex is a very important part of life and everyone deserves pleasure.
She said: “Sex is a huge part of any romantic connection.
“Everyone should be allowed pleasure.
“And sex toys help to enhance the journey of self-exploration and self-pleasure.”
Amber is keen to have another child in the future because she adores being a mother.
She told Closer magazine: “I would love to have more children. I love them so much. My son is my complete world.”
Earlier this year, Amber had a breast reduction on her 36H chest and she loves the fact she can now wear different clothes.
She said: “I had been wanting a breast reduction for years. I’d started to get backaches and it had only become worse as time went no.
“Now that I’ve downsized, the thing I’m most excited about is wearing cute tops and clothes that actually fit me.”

Ant McPartlin happier than ever

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant McPartlin is “happier” than he’s been in years.
The ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ star has had a turbulent few months, which has seen him split from wife Lisa Armstrong and step away from his TV commitments after checking into rehab following an arrest for drink driving but he’s now been sober for six months and is doing well, much to the delight of friends.
His pal Simon Hargreaves shared a photo of them together on Twitter and wrote: “Long overdue catch up with my buddy of 20+ years for lunch this week. 6 months sober, annoyingly healthy looking, and happier than I’ve seen him in years.
“Immensely proud of this lad for his strength and determination to face up to his issues and get help.”
Ant retweeted the post and replied: “Thanks pal. Really appreciate it. Lovely seeing you too.
“It really was long overdue. #weloveagoodlunch Hope you’re using your Jcrew tote bag!(sic)”
ITV recently confirmed Ant will not co-host ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ with Declan Donnelly this year, and their show ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ will be rested until 2020.
Ant said in a statement: “My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off.
“I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year.”
Dec added: “Whilst I am obviously sad at the thought of being without my best friend in Australia this year, I am proud of the work Ant has been doing privately and I am fully supportive of his decision.
“I’m looking forward to us both being reunited on screen in 2019.”
But the pair have vowed to bring ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ back “bigger and better than ever” in 2020.
A statement on their joint website read: “Neither Ant & Dec nor ITV wanted to compromise the quality of the show and therefore felt it was better to rest the series next year.
“They will instead bring the show back in 2020, bigger and better than ever.”

Sam Smith praises ex Brandon Flynn

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith still thinks Brandon Flynn is “wonderful”.
The ‘Promises’ singer split from the ’13 Reasons Why’ actor in June after eight months of dating and he is still processing what happened because the break-up feels “raw”.
He said: “Brandon was wonderful.
“I’m still trying to figure out what I took from that relationship and what it meant to me. It’s still quite raw. All my relationships have ended in a nice way, never nasty.”
Sam doesn’t use dating apps as he’d rather meet people “out and about”, but at the moment, he’s happy to be single and focus on his work.
He told Sunday Times Style magazine: “Right now, the thought of getting into a relationship is too much. I just want to marry my job, work really hard and hopefully, when I’m not looking for [love], it will come.”
But when he is dating, the 26-year-old star is a hopeless romantic.
He admitted: “I love sending flowers, leaving notes around the house and making thoughtful presents. I feel like I’m in a Richard Curtis film all the time. Which is bad, because I think everything should be like a movie and I get anxiety when it’s not.”
When the ‘Writing’s On the Wall’ singer was 18, his parents got divorced but he thinks they still have a great relationship which has only strengthened his belief in love.
He said: “Everyone was heartbroken, both parties, but the amazing and lucky thing is that my parents remained friends.
“They both have other partners and speak on the phone all the time. They can hang out together. We’re all still a unit in a modern way.
“Weirdly, my parents’ divorce made me believe in love even more.”

Anna Friel wants lighter role

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Friel is looking for a lighter role.
The 42-year-old actress has recently portrayed a succession of “dark, heavy” characters, such as the mother of a transgender child in upcoming drama series ‘Butterfly’ and the titular troubled detective in ‘Marcella’, so she’s ready for a change.
She said: “I’m going to lighten it up next time. Maybe it’s time to find another ingénue.”
Anna famously sparked outrage with a lesbian kiss on Channel 4 soap ‘Brookside’ but she’s pleased with the progress made in the portrayal of same-sex romances on screen and she’s hopeful ‘Butterfly’ will help herald a similar change for the transgender community.
She told You magazine: “Twenty-something years later I’m doing full-on lesbian scenes in ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ and no one blinks an eye. All it’s going to take is time. Eventually people will have to be more accepting.”
The brunette beauty did a lot of research for ‘Butterfly’, which she also co-produced and helped with casting and scriptwriting, and though she and fellow show chiefs were initially keen to cast a transgender actor in the role of Max, but ultimately felt it would be too upsetting for the young person.
She explained: “We wanted to find a transgender actor to play Max.
“But the story goes from when they first start to question their identity through into the transition.
“After much consideration, we decided it would be unethical to ask a transgender child to go back to what they’ve escaped from.”

Dominic West’s bad dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Dominic West’s dancing was cut from ‘Colette’.
The 48-year-old actor and his co-star Keira Knightley learned to polka for their roles as an author and his ghost-writer wife and though the 33-year-old actress got to show off her moves on screen, their shared polka didn’t make the final cut.
Asked if they had learned anything for the movie that didn’t get used, Keira said: “We learned to polka and we weren’t very good at it, so it didn’t make the film.
“I still got dance, I did some dancing but that got cut out.”
Dominic added: “It was just my dancing, our dancing.”
And it’s unlikely the deleted scene will make it into future DVD extras.
Keira laughed: “I’m not sure we do need to have it, it was a real fail.”
The ‘Anna Karenina’ actress advised would-be viewers
who have been put off by the film’s trailer or promotional material that it isn’t just a period drama.
She told Collider: “It’s kind of like a Trojan horse of a movie because you think it’s that and then it just goes right off on a tangent.
“This is a film about gender identity and sexual politics, a woman finding her own voice, an extraordinary celebrity couple. It just felt so modern and relevant and current.”
The British star admitted she felt “empowered” by her character, Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette.
She said: “I just think she’s cool and as a woman I want to see my heroes, I felt inspired and empowered [by her].”

Richard Madden eyes Bond role

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Madden wants to play James Bond.
The ‘Bodyguard’ actor has set his sights on portraying the iconic role when Daniel Craig steps down as the suave spy, but doesn’t like to talk about his ambition.
His father, Richard Madden Sr., told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I’m quite sure he does want that to be on his CV one day but he’s not making a song and dance about it.
“Whether it’s Bond or any big role, Richard has ideas about things he’d like to do.
“It’s probably best whatever his desires or thoughts are to keep it to himself.”
Despite his son’s success, Richard insists the former ‘Game of Thrones’ star hasn’t had it easy.
He said: “It’s not all been plain sailing. He’s had disappointments. You have to be in the right place at the right time.”
The 32-year-old actor faces competition to play 007 as new ‘Bond 25’ director Cary Fukunaga recently admitted he thinks it would be “cool” to cast Idris Elba in the role.
Fukunaga – who worked with Elba on ‘Beasts of No Nation’ three years ago – said: “That would be pretty cool to have Idris and I do a Bond film together. He can drive cars really well, he’s a gear-head, and he can do the action. If they wanted him to play Bond, he could do it.”
And Henry Cavill – who narrowly missed out on the the role in 2006 – is training to become a qualified stuntman in order to take over the role of the British spy.
A source said recently: “Henry got down to the last two to play Bond back in 2006 but lost out to Daniel as bosses thought he was too young.
“He wants to put himself in the best possible place to get the job next time and sees becoming a qualified stuntman as another impressive string to his bow.”

Cheryl targets Liam Payne in new song

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl’s new single is inspired by her split from Liam Payne.
The ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker is preparing to make her pop comeback with ‘Love Made Me Do It’ and as well as her recent separation from the 25-year-old star – the father of her 18-month-old son Bear – the singer has also drawn reference to her failed marriages to Ashley Cole and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in the song.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “It is a very edgy pop-dance track and not a typical song which you would expect from Cheryl.
“She’s not holding back on her feelings and inevitably it will lead to a lot of speculation.”
On the expletive-filled track, Cheryl is said to sing about how she is a “sucker” who “falls in love” with “every f***er”.
Meanwhile, Liam recently hinted the break-up with the 35-year-old beauty will feature on his own upcoming new album.
He said of the record: “I have enough songs for it and was ready to put it out.
“But I kind of feel like some of the songs I’m not ready to put out right now with the way I’m feeling. I don’t know.
“To be honest with you, life’s took a little bit of a different turn as of late, so I’m kind of going with that turn and being honest with my feelings and stuff.”
And the One Direction hunk hinted it hadn’t been his decision to split because it was unexpected.
He said: “I didn’t really expect any of this obviously and it’s difficult. I think sometimes people need to remember that behind all those statements and things there are actually people who are going through the same sort of stuff that you go through whether they’re famous, rich or whatever they are, it doesn’t matter.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner has raised enough money to have an entire home built for a family in need, following the initiative she started on her birthday.
The 21-year-old reality star announced in August that for her birthday she would be donating a portion of the profits from her Kylie Cosmetics sales to help Habitat for Humanity, a charity which helps provide housing for families in need.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star said in a press release: “I feel so blessed in my life and being able to pay it forward on a special day like my birthday has been so rewarding. Habitat LA is an amazing organisation that helps provide housing for families in need and I can’t wait to meet the deserving family and help build the home alongside them in Culver City!”
Habitat for Humanity praised Kylie – who has seven-month-old daughter Stormi with her boyfriend Travis Scott – for the “generous gift”, and said they look forward to “building a partnership with her.”
The CEO of Habitat LA said: “We are moved by the generous gift we have received from Ms. Jenner. Danny DeVito saved Michael Douglas’ life by sucking out snake poison

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny DeVito once saved Michael Douglas’ life by sucking poison out of his hand after he was bitten by a snake.
The 73-year-old actor came to his co-star’s rescue when he was attacked by a serpent while they were shooting their 1984 movie ‘Romancing the Stone’ – but the ‘Matilda’ star admitted his 73-year-old pal “would be dead” by now if the snake had struck on his nether regions.
He explained: “We were in Mexico in this really rugged kind of place.
“There was this guy who had a truck with a cage on it and inside the pickup truck, in the bed of the truck, were snakes.
“All the kids were around. I’m scared of snakes, myself, so I’m not going near a snake.
“But Michael, he’s being the hot shot, Mikey D., and the guy’s got a snake on his arm and all the kids are coming around. And Michael grabs the snake. I’m going, ‘Michael, don’t touch the snake! That’s a snake, man. That snake could bite you, man.’ ”
But Danny says Michael – who he also starred alongside in 1985’s ‘The Jewel of the Nile’, 1989’s ‘The War of the Roses’ and 2009’s ‘Solitary Man’ – replied: “Oh no, no Danny, it’s no big deal.”
Speaking on ‘The Talk’, he added: “Then the snake bites him on the hand, and I always heard the best thing to do is suck the poison out, right away, so I did.
“I grabbed his hand and I’m spitting all over the place, and I say, ‘Boy, it’s a good thing this didn’t bit you on the balls man – you would be a dead man.’ ”
Danny previously shared a flat with Michael – who produced the star in 1975 comedy-drama ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ – in the 60s, and said he was always a “babe magnet”.
Speaking in 2015, the ‘Twins’ star said: “He’s a very unassuming, very sweet guy, but a babe magnet. So anywhere he went you can guarantee there would be a bit of buzz around him. There would be ladies.”

Suge Knight agrees to 28-year prison sentence

OHMYGOSSIP — Suge Knight has agreed to face 28 years in prison after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter.
The Death Row Records co-founder was charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run after businessman Terry Carter was run over and killed in 2015, and he entered into a plea agreement at Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (20.09.18) ahead of the approaching murder trial.
According to TMZ, Suge will get credit for time served after being locked up for the last three-and-a-half years awaiting trial, and he will be on parole for three years after serving his sentence.
The rap mogul will be sentenced on October 4 when he will be handed a 28-year prison term under the agreement with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Suge – whose real first name is Marion – was involved in a fist fight with ‘Straight Outta Compton’ consultant Cle ‘Bone’ Sloan, and later clipped him in his pick-up truck, and he ran over Terry.
He had faced a potential life sentence if he was convicted during the murder trial, but after making a plea deal his murder, robbery and making criminal threats charges will be dismissed.
Suge previously faced five years probation in 1995 after he attacked two rappers at a recording studio in 1992, and in 1997 he was sentenced to jail time after violating the terms of the probation when he was involved in a fight in a Las Vegas hotel room in 1996.
This came just hours before late rapper Tupac was fatally shot dead aged 25 while Suge was driving him in Vegas.
As well as Tupac, Suge’s label also once featured rap greats such as Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Millie Bobby Brown defends ‘lovely’ friendship with Drake

OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Bobby Brown has hit back at those who have criticised her “lovely” friendship with Drake.
The ‘Stranger Things’ star revealed last weekend that she and the 31-year-old rapper are in regular contact via text message and, although some fans think it’s odd that they’re so close considering their 17-year age gap, the teenager feels “blessed” to have him in her life.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 14-year-old actress fumed: “U guys are weird… for real.
“I’m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. I’m very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don’t get to choose that for me. It’s nice to have people who understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships… jeez. (sic)”
Millie met Drake in Australia last year and he’s been helping her through her boy troubles since she split from her boyfriend Jacob Sartorius in July as well offering her advice on her career.
She said last week: “We just texted each other the other day and he was like: ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like: ‘I miss you more.’ He’s great.”
Asked what they text about, she explained: “About boys, he helps me.”
She added: “He’s a great friend and a great role mode. I love him; I met him in Australia and he’s honestly so fantastic.”
The brunette star had been dating Jacob, 15, since the end of last year, but in matching Instagram Stories posted in July they revealed their romance had come to an end as they decided to “mutually” call it quits.
On Millie’s account, she wrote in purple writing: “The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual. We are both happy and remaining friends.”

Kylie Jenner’s daughter will be walking ‘soon’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner’s daughter will be walking “soon.”
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star’s boyfriend Travis Scott – the father of the tiny tot – doesn’t think it’ll be long before seven-month-old Stormi takes her first unassisted steps as she’s already got the footwork down to a tee.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, the 26-year-old rapper uploaded a picture of Stormi standing on a chair in her Air Jordan trainers while holding her dad’s hand.
He accompanied it with the caption: “We about to be walking soon
“OG 3s I see u mama [in reference to her black footwear] (sic)”
And Stormi certainly isn’t hanging around as she only learnt to crawl in July.
Kylie, 21, uploaded a video of her adorable daughter trying to shuffle along on the floor on her hands and knees and shared it with her Snapchat fans.
The businesswoman didn’t say anything in the sweet video and, instead, just sat silently as she watched her little girl wriggle around in front of her feet.
Although she’s only seven months old, Stormi was been coming on leaps and bounds as Kylie recently admitted that her personality is really coming out now.
Asked by a fan on Twitter how the tiny tot was doing, she replied: “changing almost every week now it seems like. she has the cutest personality (sic)”
Kylie’s mother Kris Jenner – who is also her manager – can’t believe how well she has taken to motherhood and is impressed with how quickly she returned to work.
The 62-year-old reality TV star said recently: “That child never stops. She got right back in the saddle. And I love that about her. She’s really so impressive. And she’s such a good mom. She’s so dedicated to her baby.”

Nicole Kidman and Ralph Fiennes set for The Dig

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman and Ralph Fiennes are in talks to star in a film about Anglo-Saxon treasure.
The 51-year-old actress has read a “delicate” script by Moira Buffini adapted from John Preston’s novel ‘The Dig’, which is a fictional take on the 1939 discovery of a royal burial chamber at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk, south east England, the site of sixth and early seventh-century cemeteries.
Kidman told the Daily Mail newspaper the script is “very much about the relationship between Edith Pretty, who owned the land at Sutton Hoo, and Basil Brown, the archaeologist who found what was discovered there.”
In the novel, which is set shortly before the star of World War II, widowed farmer Edith was proved correct that the moulds on her land contained buried treasure, but there are plenty of jealousies and tensions involving locals following the discovery.
Should the pair sign up for ‘The Dig’, the ‘Moulin Rouge’ actress will achieve a life-long dream by starring opposite Fiennes, and she is hoping to start shooting next summer.
She added: “I’ve wanted to work with him my whole life.
“The British film industry gave me my great roles, so I’m raring to go.”
Simon Stone is set to direct ‘The Dig’, and Gabrielle Tana – who has worked with Fiennes on numerous projects – is to produce the motion picture.
The Sutton Hoo find is said to be the greatest Anglo-Saxon discovery ever made in Britain, with one cemetery featuring an undisturbed ship-burial, which dates back to the early seventh century and is still regarded as one of the most incredible individual finds in England because of its size and completeness.

Cary Fukunaga thinks Idris Elba as James Bond would be ‘cool’

OHMYGOSSIP — Cary Fukunaga thinks it would be “cool” to have Idris Elba as the new James Bond.
The 41-year-old director – who previously helmed the 2011 romantic drama ‘Jane Eyre’ and 2015’s ‘Beasts of No Nation’ – has recently been announced as the man to take over the reins of ‘Bond 25’ after Danny Boyle walked away from the project.
And, although bosses are yet to secure an actor to play the suave spy – currently portrayed by Daniel Craig – Fukunaga would love to see the ‘Luther’ star bag the role.
Speaking to the Metro.co.uk, Fukunaga – who worked with Elba on ‘Beasts of No Nation’ three years ago – said: “That would be pretty cool to have Idris and I do a Bond film together. He can drive cars really well, he’s a gear-head, and he can do the action. If they wanted him to play Bond, he could do it.”
But the 46-year-old actor will need to fight off some stiff competition if he’s to play 007 as Henry Cavill – who narrowly missed out on the the role in 2006 – is training to become a qualified stuntman in order to take over the role of the British spy.
A source said recently: “Henry got down to the last two to play Bond back in 2006 but lost out to Daniel as bosses thought he was too young.
“He wants to put himself in the best possible place to get the job next time and sees becoming a qualified stuntman as another impressive string to his bow.”
The movie’s future was thrown into doubt in the aftermath of Boyle’s exit from the project, with speculation suggesting that it could face a lengthy delay.
However, the speedy appointment of Fukunaga has ensured that ‘Bond 25’ – which is being filmed at Pinewood Studios in March next year – won’t be badly hindered by Boyle’s abrupt departure and it’s on track to be released on February 14, 2020.

Lily Allen ‘robbed’ of Mercury Music Prize

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen has claimed she was “robbed” after losing out on the 2018 Mercury Music Prize.
The 33-year-old singer broke down in tears at the prestigious award ceremony on Thursday (20.09.18), which took place at the Eventim Apollo in London’s Hammersmith, and later insisted she should have taken home the coveted accolade, which was won by rockers Wolf Alice.
Sharing a video of her stripped back performance of song ‘Apples’ at the prize giving, she wrote on Twitter: “Someone call 999 I’ve been robbed. (sic)”
While Lily later admitted Wolf Alice – who are made up of Ellie Roswell, Joel Amey, Joff Oddie, and Theo Ellis – were “very deserved winners” for their second album ‘Visions of a Life’, she is determined to triumph at the ceremony one day.
She tweeted: “I adore @wolfalice tho, and they are very deserved winners. Next time……… imma win that b***h. (sic)”
Lily previously admitted it would be “amazing” if she took home the award, after she was nominated for her comeback album ‘No Shame’.
She said: “There is a caricature version of myself which is portrayed in the mainstream press, and the artist part of me gets lost a lot of the time.
“Already being nominated has helped with that immensely, but to win would just be amazing.”
Wolf Alice performed their track ‘Don’t Delete the Kisses’ at the ceremony, and then returned to play the song again when they were announced as the Prize’s winners.
Upon accepting the gong, frontwoman Ellie said: “This means so much to pick this up with my three best friends! Oh, I’m really nervous!”
But her band mate Theo had to step in when she became too overwhelmed to continue speaking, and he added: “Listen. So basically, when we first started as a band. I remember the first label meeting we ever had, we walked into the room, and the geezer said ‘The f**k? You lot don’t look like a band at all. What are you? What are you supposed to be? All your songs sound different, you don’t look like each other.’ And we never really figured it out. But here we are – so f**k you!
“He also said he didn’t wanna work with women who wore make-up because it was a bunch of fuss, but here we are. And you know what? This is … I actually can’t believe it. Noel Gallagher’s f***ing sat there looking at me, what are you supposed to say? Big up everyone who was nominated, thank you so much to everyone who’s ever supported us. This means the world. Thank you so much!”
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, Jorja Smith, Everything Everything, Everything Is Recorded, King Krule, Nadine Shah, Novelist, and Sons Of Kemet also lost out to Wolf Alice.
