Lena Dunham suffers from fibromyalgia

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham suffers from fibromyalgia.
The 32-year-old actress took to Instagram on Saturday (06.10.18) to reveal she suffers with the chronic condition which causes pain all over the body as well as fatigue and body stiffness, and spoke about the links the illness has with “sexual trauma”.
She wrote: “This is a post about chronic pain. I have it. I bet a lot of you do too. Some of us talk about it. Others are afraid to, as it could cost them their jobs or their relationships or their sense of control in a chaotic world. In this way it’s very analogous to sexual trauma. There is also (as @ladygaga so wisely shared this week) a proven connection between chronic pain and trauma.”
And the ‘Girls’ creator even thinks her pain was triggered by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, accusing him of historical sexual assault.
She continued: “Therefore, a lot of people- a lot of women- find their pain is activated by weeks like this one. On the day after Dr. Ford’s testimony I awoke with a start at 3am. It felt like every cell in my neck was singing. My ankles and wrists were weak and my fingers didn’t do their assigned job. Yesterday I felt like I was suspended in gel, and when I meditated a line of pain zipped from my neck to my foot. I’m sorry if I don’t answer your text or email, or if I can’t show up the way someone else would. I appear to be totally able bodied but it’s complex, and I am just trying to do everything required to maintain a life of joy and service. My work costs everything I have.”
Lena then urged her followers who also suffer with the pain to tell themselves they’re not “crazy”, and said she “believes” it when people say they’re hurt.
She said: “This is fibromyalgia. It’s little understood and so even though I have a lot of knowledge and support it’s hard to shake the feeling I am crazy. But I’m not (at least not this way!) and you’re not. Your pain, whatever shape it takes, is yours and so it is real. I believe you when you say you hurt. I have learned time and time again how important it is to believe.”

Another ‘Halloween’ movie is reportedly already in the works

OHMYGOSSIP — Another ‘Halloween’ movie is reportedly already in the works.
The reboot of the popular horror franchise – which takes place 40 years after the first movie, and sees Jamie Lee Curtis reprise her role as Laurie Strode – isn’t due to hit cinema screens until October 19, but it has been claimed that another instalment is already in the pipeline.
According to horror news outlet Bloody Disgusting, sources say work has already begun on the next ‘Halloween’ film, with an unnamed writer on board working on a script.
The publication also claims that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green – who wrote and directed the upcoming reboot respectively – won’t be involved with the next instalment, which comes after they previously discussed shooting back-to-back films and even poked fun at the idea of shooting a trilogy.
Previously, Jason Blum from production company Blumhouse had he was “100 percent” on board with the idea of continuing the ‘Halloween’ franchise, and Michael Myer’s reign of terror.
He said: “Yeah, for sure, for sure, 100 percent. Let me tell you, if we got six movies out of [‘Paranormal Activity’] – they found new footage five times in a row! – I feel like we can figure out the next chapter. But we’ll see.”
As of the time of writing, it’s unknown whether Jamie Lee Curtis would return as Laurie Strode yet again in any further ‘Halloween’ movies.
Recently, the 59-year-old star praised the upcoming feature for relating to the #MeToo movement, as she believes the introduction of her character’s daughter Karen Strode (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson Strode (Andi Matichak) partly represents women taking back control of their lives, because she didn’t ever imagine her alter-ego having kids.
She said: “Ultimately, as we are learning in so many areas, women are trying to take back the narrative in their own lives from men who have abused them, in myriad ways. And this is just one example of it.
“I don’t know if 40 years ago I would have ever thought that Laurie Strode would have a daughter, let alone a granddaughter.
“I just don’t think I ever took it that far. Trauma is a generational disease because it affects everybody in the family.
“So, that’s what I think is so exciting about [this film]. They’ve explored that through the relationships between mother, daughter, granddaughter.”

Simon Cowell is considering a “small delay” in the ‘X Factor’ live shows to compensate for Ayda Field’s swearing

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell is considering a “small delay” in the ‘X Factor’ live shows to compensate for Ayda Field’s swearing.
The 58-year-old creator and judge on the ITV talent competition has said he’s been thinking about the possibility of making the televised live shows air slightly behind the action in the venue, so that the editors have a chance to bleep out any foul language new judge Ayda might let slip.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: “It’s probably going to be utter chaos. I was thinking about this the other day and we could always do a small delay.”
Ayda – who is the wife of fellow judge Robbie Williams – has previously had to apologise for her potty mouth on ‘Loose Women’, and says she’ll probably have to make a “public apology” again for her language when the singing competition goes live.
She said: “The live shows Simon can’t edit and I’m very excited about that. There will be chaos because Rob doesn’t have a filter and I swear a lot.
“That’s only because I live with Rob, he’s given me a sailor’s mouth. When I met Rob I was a respectable woman, 12 years down the line, it’s bleeping this, bleeping that and see you next Tuesday.”
But the American actress – who has daughter Theo, six, son Charlton, three, and newborn baby girl Coco, one month, with Robbie – has blamed her spouse for her bad language, as she doesn’t realise the words she has picked up from him are swear words.
The 39-year-old beauty added: “A lot of the words I don’t know are bad words.
“I’ve got in trouble on ‘Loose Women’ because Rob is a rough man from the North and the way he talks I just think is how people talk.
“So I, on occasion, have used those words thinking they are OK only to realise after my very public apology that they are not OK.
“So yeah, there might be a few moments where we say some naughty things. I’m pretty sure there will be a public apology.”
Whilst Robbie, 44, said: “That’s the thing about my wife – she doesn’t know that a lot of the things she’s saying are English swear words because she lives with me.”

The ‘Walking Dead’ actor Scott Wilson dies aged 76

OHMYGOSSIP — Scott Wilson has died aged 76.
The ‘Walking Dead’ actor – who was known for playing veteran Hershel Greene in the AMC post-apocalyptic horror series – has passed away following complications from leukaemia, his representative Dominic Mancini has told TMZ.
Dominic didn’t divulge any further details on Scott’s passing, but described the actor – who had more than 50 movie credits to his name – as a “a national treasure, a calm voice, and a gentle spirit to everyone who came in contact with him.”
Scott had recently been confirmed by ‘The Walking Dead’ showrunner Angela Kang to be returning to the upcoming ninth season – which airs in the US on Sunday (07.10.18) – despite his character being killed off in season four.
A representative for AMC told The Hollywood Reporter: “Scott will always be remembered as a great actor, and we all feel fortunate to have known him as an even better person. The character he embodied on ‘The Walking Dead’, Hershel, lived at the emotional core of the show. Like Scott in our lives, Hershel was a character whose actions continue to inform our characters’ choices to this day. Our hearts go out to his wife, family, friends and to the millions of fans who loved him. Scott will be missed.”
And the official Twitter account for ‘The Walking Dead’ graphic novel – which the show is based on – added in a tweet: “We are deeply saddened to report that Scott Wilson, the incredible actor who played Hershel on #TheWalkingDead, has passed away at the age of 76. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in paradise, Scott. We love you.”
In addition to his popular role on the horror show, Scott had also starred in movies including ‘In Cold Blood’, ‘Young Guns II’, ‘G.I. Jane’, and the 1974 version of ‘The Great Gatsby’.
He received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Captain Billy Cutshaw in ‘The Ninth Configuration’ in 1980, and had also appeared in episodes of ‘Law and Order’, ‘The Twilight Zone’, and ‘The X-Files’.

Mark Ruffalo accidentally let slip the titled for ‘Avengers 4’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Ruffalo accidentally let slip the titled for ‘Avengers 4’.
The 50-year-old actor stars as Bruce Banner and his alter ego The Hulk in the Marvel Comics Universe ensemble movie franchise, and during an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’, he seemed to make a huge slip up when he accidentally blurted out the subtitle for the upcoming fourth instalment.
During his interview, the entire audio clip – which saw him unveil key secrets about the plot, as well as the true title – was bleeped out, both in the studio and on television, but fans have been doing their best to lip read what the actor was saying.
It appears the titled could be ‘Avengers: Annihilation’, which also fits with an earlier tease that the film’s directors, The Russo Brothers, had put out in which they said the title would include two A’s.
After his on-screen blunder – which was set up as a joke for the show – Mark took to Twitter to beg show host Jimmy not to include the spoilers in the final programme.
He wrote: “I trust that you will cut my spoiler slip on the show tonight. That was “off the record” homey. Please don’t get me in trouble with Marvel (Barry) again. DM me back. (sic)”
To which Jimmy replied: “Dude, it’s too late – already sent the final show to Burbank for air. Are you sure you’re gonna be in trouble? We could maybe bleep it out. What is “DM”?”
Mark has a history of letting slip some fairly major secrets, after he previously spoiled the ending of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ a year before its release, and live-streamed the first 15 minutes of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ at its premiere.
‘Avengers 4’ is set for a 2019 release, and Chris Evans – who plays Captain America – recently confirmed the movie had wrapped filming, as he hinted that he’d made his final outing as the superhero after eight years in the role.
He tweeted: “Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”

Kanye West has deleted his social media profiles

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has deleted his social media profiles.
The 41-year-old rapper only reactivated his Twitter account in April this year after having previously stayed off the site for nearly a year, but on Saturday (06.10.18), it seems the star decided to take another social media detox as he deactivated both his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Kanye – who has North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, eight months, with his wife Kim Kardashian West – had come under fire for his Twitter rants in support of controversial US president Donald Trump just weeks after coming back to the micro-blogging website.
The music mogul first took to Twitter to speak in defence of Trump in late April, when he revealed that he considers the 72-year-old politician to be his “brother”, and said the pair share the same “dragon energy”.
He wrote: “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.
“If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary
“I love Hillary too. (sic)”
The ‘Heartless’ rapper also shared a snap of himself wearing a “Make American Great Again” hat, which was Donald Trump’s campaign slogan during the election.
His comments caused the likes of Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and Rihanna to unfollow his Twitter account, whilst international stars including British musicians Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, Australian musician and YouTube star Troye Sivan, and Korean pop group BTS also followed suit in unfollowing him.
As of the time of writing, it’s unknown what caused Kanye to deactivate his accounts.

Awkwafina credits Lucy Liu with “opening the door” for Asian women in Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Awkwafina credits Lucy Liu with “opening the door” for Asian women in Hollywood.
The 29-year-old actress and rapper made history on Saturday (06.10.18) as the first Asian woman to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 18 years after the ‘Elementary’ actress took on the honour in 2000, and during her opening monologue, she said that she had waited outside the building during Lucy’s episode, and can’t believe she’s now hosting the show herself.
She said: “I just want to say, and this is a true story, back in 2000 I came here to 30 Rock and waited outside when my idol Lucy Liu hosted ‘SNL’. I was a kid and I didn’t have a ticket, so I knew that I wasn’t getting in. I just wanted to be near the building and I remember how important that episode was for me, and how it totally changed what I thought was possible for an Asian American woman.
“Standing her tonight was a dream I never knew would come true. Thank you Lucy for opening the door. I wasn’t able to make it into the building back then. 18 years later, I am hosting the show. I love you Lucy. Please be my friend!”
The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star also included a quick dig at rapper Kanye West in her speech, when she poked fun at his appearance on the comedy sketch show last week which saw him don a giant sparkling water costume for his first performance with Lil Pump, who also wore a water bottle outfit.
Awkwafina jibed: “I was going to come out dressed as a water bottle, but apparently someone did that last week.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress – whose real name is Nora Lum – recently admitted she thinks men are intimidated by her, because they worry she’ll write a song about them if they date and then break up.
She said: “It’s the voice … Maybe they think I’ll write a terrible song about them like Taylor Swift. If you get me angry enough I would.”

Ellen DeGeneres thought she was to blame for her sexual assault

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellen DeGeneres thought she was to blame for her sexual assault.
The ‘Finding Dory’ star was devastated when she was assaulted at the age of 15 and just a few days after she revealed what had happened to her when she was younger, she opened up about how it made her feel.
She said: “As a victim of sexual abuse, I am furious at people who don’t believe it and who say, ‘How do you not remember exactly what day it was?’ You don’t remember those things. What you remember is what happened to you and where you were, and how you feel; that’s what you remember. I was 15 years old and … I’m not even going to go into the details, it doesn’t matter, but we are really vulnerable at that age, and we trust and then when you are violated, you don’t know what to do, and you don’t wanna say anything, because first of all, you’re wondering, ‘How did this happen? How was I this stupid?’ All these things that you thought you could have controlled, and you can’t.”
And the 60-year-old comedienne and television host hopes the #MeToo movement will allow more people to speak out.
She added to The Today Show: “I’m hopeful, but then I see things that just continue to happen.”

Robbie Williams quits Twitter

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams has quit Twitter.
The 44-year-old musician has revealed he’s made the decision to hire a team of people to post on his social media accounts on his behalf, because although he loves reading positive comments from fans, the criticism he gets can make it feel as though his “world is crashing in”.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre Column, he said: “I’ve had to take myself off social media – reading Twitter and stuff.
“The love is massive but the hate can make you feel like the world is crashing in. If there’s more than half the country that hate me, that’s 50million people.
“That’s a lot of people and that can feed into your psyche and make you feel bad.”
His decision to leave Twitter comes after his wife Ayda Field – with whom he has daughter Theo, six, son Charlton, three, and newborn baby girl Coco, one month – revealed he has an “unhealthy compulsion” to seek out mean comments about himself online, and that mean comments about his weight leave him devastated.
She said: “Robbie comes across as arrogant and cocky, but inside he’s a little mushy mensch and he has very soft feelings and a wounded heart. When people write bad things about him it hurts. I try to teach Rob to stay away from it – sometimes I have more success than others.
“I put him on a computer ban but then he falls off the wagon, he goes down the hole and then I have to pick up those pieces. I will definitely ban Rob from social media during the show. He’ll read some nasty comments and then I have to pick him up, dust him off and remind him he’s an incredible human being.
“That’s the funny thing – artists and us creative individuals might appear tough but we’re actually humans with feelings.”

Vicky Pattison is considering counselling following the death of her best friend Paul Burns

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison is considering counselling following the death of her best friend Paul Burns.
The 30-year-old television personality was left devastated when her best friend passed away in June at the age of 37, after his heart stopped following a night out, and has now said that whilst she originally shunned the idea of seeing a therapist, she’s now willing to give it a try because she knows “the results can be remarkable”.
She said: “I didn’t have counselling. To be honest I think I was too cowardly. I know the benefits and how much it can help you but I just didn’t feel strong enough.
“It takes everything out of me and I wasn’t ready but it isn’t something I would rule out.
“I will probably speak to someone at some point because I know the results can be remarkable.”
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star is now “on a mission” to raise awareness about feelings of grief and loss, and says she got “really angry” with people who told her to stop being unhappy following Paul’s passing.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column, she added: “I got really angry with people telling me how I should act. Don’t tell me how I should grieve. I needed time to heal.
“I think it is so insensitive to tell people to pull themselves together or that Paul wouldn’t want me to be unhappy.
“I’m on a mission to raise awareness about grief, loss, awareness. It’s OK to not be OK.”
Previously, Vicky had claimed she would often throw up before leaving the house after Paul’s death, and said her life “fell apart” without him.
She said: “My best friend Paul died at the start of summer. My life fell apart, there’s no other way to put it.”

Brian McFadden has no reason to keep in touch with Westlife bandmates

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian McFadden has “no reason” to stay friends with his former Westlife bandmates.
The 38-year-old singer quit the band in 2004 and despite rumours of a reunion for the ‘Flying Without Wings’ hitmakers – who went their separate ways in 2012 – he insists he won’t be working with Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily or Shane Filan again.
He said: “I haven’t been invited to join [a reunion] but I would never get back with the group – it’s been too long. I left 14 years ago and although I might have been tempted to do it in the past, the band has done too many albums and changed too much.
“I haven’t seen [them] in years. We don’t talk and we have our own lives. I know nothing about them any more. I’ve been married [to Kerry Katona and Vogue Williams] but I don’t speak to them any more either, so there’s no reason for me and the boys to stay buddies.”
And Brian admitted he always regarded his time in the band as “just a job”, but he’s thankful for the experience.
He added: “For me, it was just a job. I only met the guys when I joined the band and have no regrets about leaving. Everything has happened because of decisions I’ve made in my life – and they’ve led me to where I am today. At the moment, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”
But the Boyzlife star thinks it’s a good idea for his former bandmates to get back together again.
Writing in his guest column for Closer magazine, he added: “That said, I do think it’s great the band is getting back together – rather than sitting at home doing nothing, the boys will be doing something they love.”

Kate Hudson has shared the first picture of her daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson has shared the first picture of her daughter.
The ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ star and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa welcomed their daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa into the world earlier this week and now Kate has showed off her “little rosebud”.
Alongside two rose emojis, she wrote: “Our little rosebud.”
Kate announced she had given birth to her baby daughter on her Instagram page.
She wrote: “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor. Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
And Kate revealed she was expecting a baby girl with Danny in April, with an adorable gender reveal video posted to social media.
She captioned the clip at the time: “SURPRISE!!! If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been.
“If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way (sic)”

Janelle Monae to star in Harriet Tubman biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Janelle Monae has been added to the cast of the Harriet Tubman biopic.
The 32-year-old singer will star alongside the likes of Leslie Odom Jr, Joe Alwyn, Jennifer Nettles, Clarke Peters and Vanessa Bell Calloway in ‘Harriet’, which will tell the story of the American abolitionist.
The upcoming movie – which is being directed by Kasi Lemmons, who also co-wrote the script with Gregory Allen Howard – follows the activist on her escape from slavery and her subsequent efforts to help dozens more slaves achieve freedom.
‘Harriet’ – which will be Janelle’s latest film since starring in 2016’s ‘Hidden Figures’ and ‘Moonlight’ – is due to begin filming in Virginia later this month.
Janelle – who recently released her latest album, ‘Dirty Computer’ – is also set to star in the upcoming animated movie ‘UglyDolls’, according to Variety.

Kevin Hart confirms Jumanji 3 filming

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Hart has confirmed the ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’ sequel will start filming early next year.
The 39-year-old actor has revealed he will be working on the follow-up to the 2017 comedy blockbuster – which also starred Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan – in January 2019 as they look to continue its success.
He told Variety: “We start shooting at the end of January. We almost made a billion dollars with the first one, so to have the opportunity to repeat that same level of success is beyond exciting.
“To get that whole crew back is exciting. I’m pumped up about it.”
Last year’s movie was a sequel to Robin Williams’ original 1995 classic, and director Jake Kasdan has admitted part of the challenge of creating ‘Jumanji 3’ would be figuring out where to take the story in order to make it special.
He previously said: “Part of the challenge of figuring out how [the emotional centre of the film] continues is to keep that alive in ways that feel earned … like a true kind of continuation in this story.”
In addition to Jake returning to direct, ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ screenwriters Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner are also on board to pen the screenplay for the third movie.
The original 1995 ‘Jumanji’ was directed by Joe Johnston and starred the late Robin Williams as Alan Parrish, a man who had been trapped inside the titular board game for decades and is freed by two siblings when they decide to take on the magical jungle-themed game for themselves.
In 2017’s version, the board game has been updated to a video game, and when a group of teenagers become trapped inside as the game’s characters, they must escape and return home without losing all of their lives.
