OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Meghan wore jewellery owned by the late Princess Diana on her first public appearance with Prince Harry since her pregnancy announcement on Monday (15.10.18).
The 34-year-old former actress donned a pair of stunning gem-encrusted butterfly earrings which were reportedly worn by Harry’s mother Diana on a trip to Canada in 1986, a year after the British royal was born, as the couple visited Sydney, Australia.
The duchess – who was known as Meghan Markle before she married the prince – later paired the earrings with a white shift dress was designed by Australian designer Karen Gee, which gave the first glimpse of her baby bump.
The fitted dress retails at $1,800 and interest in the ‘Blessed’ shift style caused the Karen Gee website to crash.
The Duchess of Sussex – who is thought to be 12 weeks pregnant – also sported a gold bracelet Diana wore while visiting the Lord Gage Centre for Old People, a Guinness Trust Home, in Newham, East London in 1990.
Meghan is already the owner of a few pieces which belonged to Diana – who tragically died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 at the age of 36.
On her wedding day – which took place on May 19 at St George’s Chapel at Winsor Castle – Meghan wore stunning emerald cut aquamarine ring to her evening wedding reception at Frogmore House.
Diana’s firstborn son Prince William was also left some jewellery of his mother’s, which he has given to his wife Duchess Catherine, including Diana’s iconic Sapphire engagement ring.
In a special letter written by Diana, she said: “I would like you to allocate all my jewellery to the share to be held by my sons, so that their wives may, in due course, have it or use it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh insists there’s “nowt better” than a cup of tea.
The 42-year-old actress was among thousands who were “rightfully shocked” that her ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Lucy Fallon has never tried the hot beverage and has been doing her best to persuade her to give the drink a try.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she said: “I was chatting to Lucy about the fact she’s never drunk a cup of tea. She mentioned it on Twitter last week and people were rightfully shocked. She says she can’t get past the smell, but what’s not to love about a brew?
“I told her she doesn’t know what she’s missing – there’s nowt better than a cup of Yorkshire Tea and a Hobnob!”
Lucy made her confession on Twitter last week.
She posted: “never had a cup of tea in my life and I intend to keep it that way x (sic)”
The ‘Corrie’ actress’ omission shocked a number of the Twittersphere, including her co-star Georgia Taylor (Toyah Battersby), who admitted Lucy’s surprise beverage boast had left her feeling “a bit sad”.
She wrote: “Not gonna lie, I feel a bit sad (sic)”
But Lucy – who plays regular Roy’s Rolls cafe visitor Bethany Platt in the ITV soap – confessed she hates the way tea smells.
She tweeted: “It’s just the way it smells I can’t get onboard with it (sic)”
Georgia attempted to convince her to start making some beautiful brews, but her mind couldn’t be changed.
She tweeted: “I’m genuinely sat here now with a massive brew, sniffing it Doesn’t smell of much to me (sic)”
Several other fans took Twitter to question why the cobbles dweller isn’t a tea drinker, resulting in Lucy admitting: “I feel like I’ve let everyone down x (sic)”
But one of her supporters said they think a brew “smells rank”.
A delighted Lucy replied: “I agree!!! I can’t stand the smell of it (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan likes to have his ‘Good Morning Britain’ seat warmed before he sits on it to co-host the show.
The ‘GMB’ presenter’s co-host Kate Garraway has exposed a long list of his backstage demands, claiming he has to begin the day with a large mug of Yorkshire Gold Tea, which has been stirred three times anti-clockwise, and the brew has to become a “perfect tan brown” colour before serving.
In a piece for The Sun newspaper, as part of her guest editing spot on the showbiz desk, Kate also revealed Piers’ underwear must be iron-pressed before he heads into hair and make-up and all mirrors must be shined so he can see his reflection better, but she joked there is “some doubt he actually has one”.
The presenter must have the day’s newspapers laminated, binded and placed on his dressing room table, and he demands a breakfast of porridge with honey, and has apple and peanut butter brought to him while he rewrites the show’s running order.
Piers must also have music from Lily Allen or Madonna playing in his dressing room to pump him up before the show, while fellow presenter Susanna Reid must be reassured she’ll get a word in.
Finally, other members of the show are warned to expect the unexpected from the outspoken journalist.
Piers will remain on ‘Good Morning Britain’ until at least the end of 2019, after he signed a new deal with ITV that will see him continue to front the early-morning breakfast show alongside his co-star Susanna until the end of next year.
He said: “I’ve just signed an extension to my deal that takes me through to the end of 2019, people don’t know that. It’s an extension to an extension. I did two extensions in the space of four months. So I must be doing something right at the moment.
“But that can change.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dominic Brunt only found out he’d been nominated for a National Television Award when Mark Charnock told him this morning.
The NTAs longlist nods were revealed in the early hours (16.10.18), but the ‘Emmerdale’ actor – who plays Paddy Kirk in the soap – didn’t know he was up for Best Serial Drama Performance until his co-star (Marlon Dingle) surprised him with the news.
He wrote on Twitter: “So @markcharnock told me I’d been nominated this morning. (sic)”
Despite playing vet Paddy since 1997, Dominic is yet to have received an NTA nomination until now.
He added: “I’ve never been nominated before and it’s a lovely lovely feeling. Thank you @OfficialNTAs and thanks @emmerdale for writing for me!! x (sic)”
The 48-year-old actor’s former Dales co-star Adam Thomas – who played Adam Barton in the ITV soap – was surprised that Dominic had never been up for an NTA before.
He wrote on Twitter: “The fact u have never been nominated baffles me … ur one of the best sir … not as good as me but your good congrats x (sic)”
James Moore – who plays Ryan Stocks in the soap – has received a nod in the Best Newcomer category, and admitted Dominic’s recognition was “well deserved”.
He tweeted: “Congratulations! Very well deserved! (sic)”
Dominic and Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle) – who also received an NTA nod in the Serial Drama Performance category – recently played out a heart-wrenching plot which saw their daughter Grace live for just 20 minutes, due to being diagnosed with bilateral renal agenesis.
And the actor admitted he had found it “impossible” to hold back the tears while he was learning his lines, because of the hard-hitting nature of the content.
He said: “It kept taking us by surprise. We read the script and it was almost impossible to read it without bursting into tears all the time, so I kept reading it in private.
“I thought it was just me being soft, but Lucy said the same.
“Situations where you were holding a real baby who was gurgling in front of you just made it all the more real and all the more emotional.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Production has been pushed back on the Flash movie.
Warner Bros. has reportedly pushed back filming for DC’s long-in-development standalone movie centered on The Flash, with it now expected to start filming in late 2019.
The movie didn’t have a confirmed date but was exepected to begin filming in March. However, the project’s script is still being tweaked and the studio will not have time to finish the script in time for the original beginning of filming.
Ezra Miller – who will play the titular lead role the superhero flick – is scheduled to begin work on the third installment of the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ franchise in July, causing the push back, which will likely see the Flash film’s release delayed until 2021, Variety magazine reports.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein – who wrote 2017’s ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ – are directing a script written by ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ scribe Joby Harold.
In a previous interview, Miller admitted his standalone film will cause an “endless, headache-inducing fabric of multiversality”.
He said: “What fans understand when they hear ‘Flashpoint’ would be almost like hearing a word like ‘crisis’. We start to understand that our precious DC Universe will inevitably be torn asunder to an endless, headache-inducing fabric of multiversality. The DC hyped-Extended Multiverse, as I plan to call it. Quote me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Warner Bros. are set to remake ‘Tom and Jerry’ and ‘Scooby Doo’ next year.
The beloved Hanna-Barbera animated productions are getting a revamp as Warner and Warner Animation Group (WAG) have recruited Chris Colombus – who has previously directed ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Pixels’ – for a ‘Scooby Doo’ adaptation and ‘Fantastic Four’ filmmaker, Tim Story, to join their ‘Tom and Jerry’ team.
Warner will join forces between their animated department and hybrid pictures to shoot everyone’s favourite cat and mouse duo, and sources have revealed that Warner Bros will stick to the cartoon’s successful slapstick style and keep the characters mute.
‘Tom and Jerry’ will start shooting in 2019 and the untitled ‘Scooby-Doo’ project is due to arrive in theatres in the first quarter of 2020, Variety magazine reports.
The other major live-action sequel that’s expected to hit theatres next year is a ‘Space Jam’ sequel featuring NBA basketball player LeBron James.
The professional basketball player will star in the hotly-anticipated Warner Bros. movie and he is delighted to be working with the ‘Black Panther’ director Ryan Coogler on the project.
He said: “The ‘Space Jam’ collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie. It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams. And I think Ryan did that for a lot of people.”
Terence Nance will direct the motion picture, which is expected to be released next year, and Justin Lin – who was initially directing the film but pulled out – will remain on board as executive producer. The original ‘Space Jam’ film saw Michael Jordan team up with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the ‘Looney Tunes’ cartoon characters to play a game of basketball to save them from enslavement at an alien amusement park.

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX’s new music has allowed her “be who she wants to be”.
The ‘Break the Rules’ hitmaker says there was a time where she “thought commercial success equaled happiness” but she has now realised it is more about her being happy with her releases.
She said: “Recently, the music I’ve made has allowed me to be who I want to be. It definitely took me time to find out who that was … I thought commercial success equaled happiness.”
And the 26-year-old singer and songwriter loves how pop has become a “melting pot of different people and different cultures” and has such a diverse sound now.
She added: “Pop is this melting pot of different people and different cultures. It’s cool that something so mainstream can be diverse.”
Charli finally feels like she has a “purpose” when she makes music and performs it.
She told TIME magazine: “I want it to make people feel like they can be whoever they want to be when they listen to it. I think the message is party hard and don’t be afraid to be who you are, you know? … When I do shows now, it feels like all of the audience and all of the people onstage are all one person there for the same reason – to feel free and alive and feel good. Before, sometimes when I stood on stage, I didn’t know why the f**k I was there. I felt like I was screaming on the edge of a f***ing building. I didn’t really have a purpose. And now I feel like I do have a purpose when I make music, and when I perform, and that feels very rare, and something that only I could have found. No label or manager or anyone could have curated that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had a special beer created in their honour ahead of their visit to Australian city Dubbo.
Royal fever is well underway in Australia now Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have begun their visit to the Commonwealth country and to mark the trip Dubbo’s Old Bank Bar and Restaurant has created a special brew for the couple called Dubbo Royale ahead of their visit to the New South Wales city on Wednesday (17.10.18).
‘Dubbo Royale’ has been bottled in a red, white and blue can – the colours of both the flags of the USA and UK – and is a British-style lager combined with “fruity” American West Coast hops “for the Meghan component”.
Speaking to The Daily Liberal, Old Bank Hotel licensee Ryan Mackintosh said: “It’s in high demand. It’s the only beer brewed in Australia for their visit to Australia. It’s like a marriage in a beer can. It’s our tribute to their upcoming visit to Dubbo.”
Pubs across town will be serving cans of Royale for locals to drink as they have a day off when the couple arrive.
Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, announced that they are expecting their first baby together on Monday (15.10.18) in a statement that read: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
Since arriving in Sydney, the pair have already been inundated with baby gifts.
Whilst attending a welcome reception at Admiralty House in Sydney, they were handed a fluffy stuffed kangaroo and fleece Ugg baby booties by the Governor General Peter Cosgrove and his wife Lady Lynne Cosgrove.
Duchess Meghan said: “That’s so cute, it’s our first baby gift!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Dinklage’s new film “took a quarter of a century” to make.
The 49-year-old actor portrays Herve Villechaize – a French dwarf made famous in the 70s for his roles in ‘James Bond’ and ‘Fantasy Island’ – in ‘My Dinner with Herve’ and it was only Peter’s ‘Game of Thrones’ success that persuaded movie executives to commission the film, which is based on writer Sacha Gervasi’s interview with the titular character, who took his own life shortly after their meeting in 1993.
Sacha said: “It took a quarter of a century, it took Peter Dinklage, it took ‘Game of Thrones’, but we did it in the end.”
Peter has admitted that although he is careful not “judge” Herve, he believes that “fame got the better of him” and he was left feeling “lost”.
He explained to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Herve followed this fame balloon that floated by and I think it derailed him from what was important. I’m not judging him. He was a very intelligent, very artistically driven gentleman and an incredible painter but fame got the better of him.
“And fame is a very abstract thing, it only results from good work and when you attach yourself to the just fame part of it, without the underlying reason for the fame, the work, then you’re lost, I think.
Though Peter believes his most famous alter ego, ‘Game of Thrones’ Tyrion Lannister has “broke the walls” of being defined by his dwarfism, he still feels there is a long way to go in television and film representation.
He said: “I don’t know if it is all that different now, if you turn on the TV around Christmas time, it doesn’t look very different – that’s some panto s**t right there.
“Tyrion was written for someone of my size, but he broke the walls of that and became a much more complicated person.”

The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star fears she will get fired all the time and is incredibly insecure that one day every one will find out she’s “just a total lie”.
She told Access Live: “I still have this every single time I start a job, ‘I’m gonna get fired. They’re gonna find out I’m a terrible actor. This is gonna be the one. This is gonna be the job where they all find out I’m just a total lie.'”
And Charlize previously urged women not to be so “polite” when asking for equal pay.
She said: “I am in a position where I could put my foot down and say, I want equal pay to my male co-star, who I had billed another movie with. We were doing a sequel, we had done it together, why not? What was interesting about it was I had a studio that said all right. And I was like, oh? We just need to say this? We just need to not be so polite about it and say what we want? … The amount of traction and the amount of women who are being empowered by other women to step forward and actually speak their truth, I know in my life I’ve never seen anything like that. OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank enjoyed tequila and pizza at their wedding reception.
The royal couple tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Friday (12.10.18) and treated guests to a gourmet pizza truck and Casamigos margaritas. It is no surprise they opted for the tequila brand as Jack works as a brand manager for the company.
A series of receptions took place in the Waterloo Chamber, the Grand Reception Room and St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle, with finger foods – including Yorkshire pudding bites and miniature Scotch eggs – and Pol Roger champagne on offer, People magazine reports.
And guest Robbie Williams also gave an impromptu performance at the wedding reception, hosted by Eugenie’s parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in the grounds of the Royal Lodge at Windsor.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that the couple’s wedding included an excerpt of ‘The Great Gatsby’ – because the main character reminds Eugenie of Jack.
The Dean of Windsor – who officiated the couple’s wedding – detailed the moving reason behind Eugenie’s decision to include the passage, which described the book’s main character Jay Gatsby.
He said: “One particular passage, in which Jay Gatsby is described, reminded her immediately of Jack. She decided that eventually, she wanted to let Jack know how much those words had brought him to mind, and that’s why they’ve had a special place as our second reading in today’s wedding service. The words that particularly reminded her of Jack concern Gatsby’s smile. As we heard from the reading: ‘It was one of those rare smiles, with a quality of eternal reassurance in it. It concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favour.'”

The ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ hitmaker has decided to step back from the spotlight following the release of his latest album ‘Love’ after a tough few years when his son was diagnosed with cancer.
He said: “I don’t have the stomach for it any more. The celebrity narcissism. This is my last interview. I’m retiring. I’ve made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top.”
The devastating news of his five-year-old son’s Noah’s cancer diagnosis two years ago has changed Michael’s “perception of life” and he wants to focus on his family – wife Luisana Lopilato, son Noah, and their two other children – Elias, two, and Vida, two months.
He added to the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine: “I decided I’ll never read my name again in print, never read a review, and I never have. I decided I’d never use social media again, and I never have … Why are we here? Is this all there is? Because if this is all there is, there has to be something bigger. It’s been such a difficult exercise. But my whole being’s changed. My perception of life. I don’t know if I can even get through this conversation without crying. And I’ve never lost control of my emotions in public.”
Meanwhile, Michael previously admitted he “wished he didn’t wake up” when he found out about his son’s cancer diagnosis.
He said: “It sucks. It still sucks. What we went through was the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being. I much rather would have it have been me. Many times I wish that it had been. [There were times we] wished we didn’t wake up. I’ve been through a lot. One of the things about going through something that my family has been through is that it gives you great perspective and one of those points of [perspective] is that it really shows you to appreciate the good things.”

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper – who has daughter Kulture with her husband Offset – admits it can be tough navigating fame and she has her down days too.
Responding to reports Selena Gomez has entered treatment for an “emotional breakdown”, Cardi told E! News: “When I met her, she was such a sweet, adorable person. She’s really what you see. She’s really a sweetheart. I just want to let her know, Girl, you’re beautiful, you’re rich and hold on because even sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind. I just got to pray hard to God and get away from social media.”
Meanwhile, Cardi previously confessed she was “a little bit happier” before she was famous but is grateful she doesn’t “have to worry” about her future anymore.
She said: “My family, whatever they want, they get. Everything that I want to buy, I can get. I don’t have to worry so much about my future … Even though I’m happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money. The pair famously fell out after Kanye allegedly decided to release new music close to Drake’s release date after finding out when the latter was dropping new music.
He said: “He sold me on this whole speech of like, ‘I’m in a great place, I’m making money, and I’m a father, and I wanna be Quincy Jones and help you. But in order to do that, you’ve gotta be transparent with me, you gotta play me your music, and you gotta tell me when you’re dropping. And I know you don’t like to do things like that.’ I guess we all kind of felt a genuine vibe from it, so I play him my music and I told him when I was dropping … He’s like, ‘This guy is working on an album.’ And I was like, ‘For real? The former Victoria’s Secret Angel insists she is still close pals with the ‘Shake It Off’ singer.
Speaking in her 73 Questions segment with Vogue, she said: “Taylor and I are still really good friends.”
Meanwhile, Taylor previously insisted her friends will never use her to help their own “social climbing”.
She said: “I think one of my main goals in trying to preserve my sense of reality has been to surround myself with friends who have their own careers, and who don’t need me for any sense of validation or social climbing, or a career statement … My friends have all solidified themselves in their own careers and so if they think that I shouldn’t put out a certain single as a first single, they’re going to tell me: ‘That wasn’t one of my favourites that you’ve played me Taylor,’ and I’m going to respect that opinion.”

She explained: “It’s almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. It’s so much more important than some guy that it didn’t work out with. Now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other – and just because you have the same taste in men, we don’t hold that against each other.”
