Jamie Dornan dislikes social media

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan is not on social media because he finds it distracts people from spending quality time with family.
The ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ actor – who is expecting his third child with his wife Amelia Warner, with whom he already has Dulcie, four, and two-year-old Elva – has never been inclined to sign up for Instagram or Twitter because he fears people are losing out on proper “human” interaction by spending hours looking at their screens.
Asked about his decision not to have a presence on such apps, he told ET Canada: “Yeah, definitely. Especially now with two kids and another on the way,” he said, confirming the baby news. “I’m not on social media or anything. I guess that takes up a lot of people’s phone screen time.”
He added: “I think especially if you’ve got kids and they want to play with you and you’re watching what people had for breakfast then that would seem really bad. But, you know, I think the less time we spend on our phones and the more time we are together with other human beings, it’s a good thing. But, sadly, I think it’s going the other way.”
Meanwhile, Jamie recently admitted he feels “a healthy and lovely duty” to provide for his children.
The 36-year-old hunk adores his brood and says it “suits” him to, alongside his spouse, work to support his kids.
He said: “I feel a healthy and lovely duty to provide for my kids, and I really like it. It suits me. Making my kids happy is a good thing for my wife and me to be driven by.”
And whilst Jamie admits there are times he and his Amelia get “frustrated” at each other, they never let it become an issue.
He added: “We get frustrated at times, usually when travelling with the kids, but we’d never let anything boil and become a thing. We know couples who are plate-throwers, but that’s just not us. I’m glad it’s not us – plates are expensive … Certainly there’s never a day that I don’t tell her I love her.”

Kym Marsh takes up camping hobby

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has taken up camping – in a bid to become “more outdoorsy”.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress is keen to see more of the outside world and after forking out on a new tent, she is planning a countryside jaunt with her kids, David, 23, and Emilie, 20 – who she has with former partner Dave Cunliffe – and seven-year-old Polly.
She wrote on Twitter: “I’m gonna start being more outdoorsy so I’m gonna go camping with @david_cunliffe3 and @EmilieCunliffe and polly at the first opportunity!! got myself a berghaus airtent @blacks_online just need to get myself a decent weekend now weather wise and I’m off!! Wish me luck (sic)”
The 42-year-old star – who plays Michelle Connor – was inundated with hints and tips about where to go and what to do on her family camping adventure, but one ‘Corrie’ fan account jokingly questioned whether it was wise at her age because the damp may not be good for her aching bones.
She replied: “Cheeky a**e!!! (sic)”
As well as camping, Kym is also looking for new places to take Polly – who she shares with her ex-husband, ‘Hollyoaks’ star Jamie Lomas – of a weekend after being left “fed up” with their current list of activities.
She tweeted: “Right new ideas needed. Fed up of taking Polly to the same places on the weekend. Anyone got some new ideas for where to take my 7 year old? (sic)”
While Kym is planning new ideas for her kids, she recently tried to tempt her ‘Corrie’ co-star Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt) to start drinking tea – because the cobbles resident is yet to ever try a brew in her life.
She said: “I was chatting to Lucy about the fact she’s never drunk a cup of tea. She mentioned it on Twitter last week and people were rightfully shocked. She says she can’t get past the smell, but what’s not to love about a brew?
“I told her she doesn’t know what she’s missing – there’s nowt better than a cup of Yorkshire Tea and a Hobnob!”

John Barrowman to star in Fireman Sam’s first feature-length film

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman will star in Fireman Sam’s first-ever feature-length movie.
The 51-year-old actor will voice Flex Dexter in ‘Fireman Sam: Set for Action’ – which will premiere on Cartoonito later this month – and John has revealed he’s always wanted to voice an animated character.
The ‘Torchwood’ star said: “For a long time, I have always wanted to do a voice for an animated character and having been involved with some great British iconic TV shows, it’s great to be involved with ‘Fireman Sam’.”
The animated adventure follows the cartoon hero as one of his daring rescue missions goes viral.
Sam is scouted by a Hollywood director, but his co-star Flex Dexter is determined to get the lead part at any cost.
As more and more accidents happen on set, Sam is held responsible and fired from both the movie and the Fire Service.
Then, the focus turns towards Sarah, James and Mandy, who try to discover who is really behind the incidents.
John thinks it’s “awesome” that his voice will be able to “live on for generations” in the animated movie.
He said: “Thirty years it’s been around, everybody knows who Fireman Sam is, so to be part of Pontypandy is just amazing.
“We’ve all grown up with these characters and as an actor, as somebody who loves what they do, to be the voice of something that is going to be there for a long, long time, so in another thirty years, I will always be Flex Dexter.
“Which is kind of awesome to think that, so my voice will live on for generations and generations in the land of Fireman Sam, Pontypandy. I will be there for a long time!”
‘Fireman Sam: Set for Action’ airs exclusively on Cartoonito on Monday, October 22 at 8.00am.

Janina Gavankar in talks to star alongside Ben Affleck in Torrance

OHMYGOSSIP — Janina Gavankar is being eyed to play the female lead opposite Ben Affleck in ‘Torrance’.
The 37-year-old actress – who starred in the comedy-drama ‘Blindspotting’ earlier this year – is close to agreeing a deal that would see her play Ben’s on-screen ex-wife in the Warner Bros. drama, according to Collider.
Ben, 46, will star as the coach of an inept high school basketball team in the Gavin O’Connor-directed movie, which is based on a script by Brad Ingelsby.
Gordon Gray, Jennifer Todd, Ravi Mehta and Gavin are set to serve as the film’s producers, while Madison Ainley, Mark Ciardi and Brad will be the executive producers.
Production on the movie is scheduled to begin later in October.
Meanwhile, Janina – who is a self-confessed gaming fanatic – previously admitted she could easily have worked in the tech industry if she “wasn’t such a weirdo artist”.
She shared: “When you’re a geek about something it means you have an overwhelming love and obsession for some things. So to geek is to love.
“The things that I’ve always been interested in are more on the ‘nerdy’ side. Especially the way that I interact with them which is 110 per cent, fangirl vibrations at all times.
“Growing up I was a band geek, swing choir geek, theatre geek, drum corp. geek, all of that. Now, I’m a gamer, a tech geek and an involuntary early-adapter.
“I’m so enthralled by tech that I might have ended up in it if I wasn’t such a weirdo artist.”

The 39-year-old singer is delighted she and husband Richard Jones are expecting a sibling for their four sons, Sonny, 13, Kit, nine, Ray, five, and Jesse, three, but she admitted she hadn’t been trying to get pregnant.
Speaking on ‘Jeremy Vine’, she said: “People asked me if I planned it – I’m not that crazy but it was definitely a happy thing.”
Although the ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ hitmaker’s home life is “chaotic”, she likes having a large brood because she grew up as part of a big family.
She said: “I’m pretty relaxed, its family life it’s chaotic and we’re happy and I really like how I grew up with lots of brothers and sisters
Sophie married The Feeling bassist in 2005 and she admitted they both knew instantly they had found the right person.
She said: “From a dating point of view we’re very fast – but you know we knew, within three months of meeting him. We’re both quite speedy, when you know you know.”
The British pop star announced her pregnancy news on Chris Evans’ BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show in August, describing the impending arrival of her fifth baby as “mental”.

She added: “You get more relaxed with the chaos … says the woman who just … we just went away Richard and I with five kids, because our eldest brought a mate, and I took a book which seemed like the most optimistic thing I could have done!

Demian Bichir to star in Godzilla vs. Kong?

OHMYGOSSIP — Demian Bichir is in talks to star in ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’.
The Oscar-nominated actor could star alongside Julian Dennison and Brian Tyree Henry in the Adam Wingard-directed movie, which will be the fourth instalment of the Godzilla-Kong cinematic universe, Collider reports.
Other members of the cast are rumoured to include ‘Black Panther’s Danai Gurira, as well as Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler and Zhang Ziyi.
As yet, though, only Julian and Brian have been confirmed as being part of the cast.
‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ will follow ‘Godzilla’, ‘Kong: Skull Island’, and the upcoming ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’, and has been given a release date of May 22, 2020.
Meanwhile, Demian previously admitted he’s keen to take on a variety of challenges during his career.
The actor – who previously starred in ‘The Hateful Eight’ and ‘The Nun’ – explained: “You have to say no many times to find the right roles.
“You do get the same offers – once the industry sees you play, for example, a gardener, you will get a lot of offers to play a gardener. Very few people really have the imagination to picture you doing something different.”
Demian also wrote and directed ‘Un Cuento de Circo & A Love Song’, which tells the story of a romantic who travels in search of love.
Reflecting on his experience of helming a movie, Demian explained: “I think there is a director in every actor. We see everything, and we pretty much always care about everything.
“If you direct your own film, then you get to make every decision and have all the responsibility on your shoulders. I was intrigued by how that would make [me] a better actor, and I think it did in many ways.
“I knew it was going to be a great experience, but I didn’t know that I would love it so much.”

Jason Blum apologises for ‘dumb’ comments about female directors

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Blum has apologised for making “dumb” comments about female directors.
The 49-year-old producer has taken to Twitter to issue an apology after his comments about female directors in a recent interview with Polygon prompted an online backlash.
In the original interview, Jason was asked about working with female directors on horror movies and he replied: “We’re always trying to [do] that. We’re not trying to do it because of recent events. We’ve always been trying.
“There are not a lot of female directors period, and even less who are inclined to do horror.”
But Jason – who served as a producer on the latest ‘Halloween’ movie – has now issued an apology and has also tried to clarify his position on the issue.
He wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “Thank you everyone for calling me out on my dumb comments in that interview. I made a stupid mistake. I spoke too quickly about a serious issue – an issue that I am passionate about. Over 50 percent of our audience is female. Over 50 percent of Blumhouse execs are women.
“Some of our most successful franchises are anchored by women, including the one opening tomorrow/today [‘Halloween’], led by the biggest female legend in this genre.
“But we have not done a good enough job working with female directors, and it’s not because they don’t exist. I heard from many today. The way my passion came out was dumb. And for that I am sorry. I will do better. (sic)”

Cher Lloyd had birth fear

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher Lloyd was “petrified” of giving birth.
The ‘Swagger Jagger’ singer and her husband Craig Monk welcomed daughter Delilah-Rae into the world in May and the 25-year-old star will always be grateful for the “amazing” midwife who helped her have the trouble-free labour she’d hoped for.
She said: “Before [I gave birth] I was obviously petrified but luckily I had the most amazing midwife, it was the best I could have wished for, just me and my husband.
“It was the most amazing moment of my life, you see the baby and think ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna love you forever’.”
Cher married Craig five years ago after two years together and though they have had their “ups and downs”, she admitted their marriage is still a “fairytale”.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘Loose Women’, she said: “I got married when I was 20, you know when you grow up and dream of that fairytale, I’ve had my ups and downs, like every marriage, but honestly it’s like a fairytale with me and him.”
The former ‘X Factor’ star is delighted to be back performing again on her own “terms” as she felt she lost her “sparkle” before taking a hiatus to start her family.
She said: “I’ve been a mum and I’m at home and then I get back into it and I’m like ‘This used to be my life’ and now it’s happening again, I’m so happy to be back. It’s on my terms as well, it’s all been me, the songs, the look…
“Being in the industry took a bit of light out of me, I lost my sparkle and the reason why people loved me in the beginning.
“I feel like it’s much easier to go along with the crowd than to stand out and I feel that happened. I’ve got loads of outfits together backstage and I was like ‘I just wanna wear my hoodie’.”

Holly Willoughby tricked into stroking pussy on This Morning

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby was tricked into stroking a pussy in a special Bushtucker Trial on ‘This Morning’ on Thursday (18.10.18).
The 37-year-old presenter was given a hilarious send-off from the daytime TV show before she heads to Australia to present ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ with Declan Donnelly with her co-host Phillip Schofield setting up a scary challenge for her which required Holly to placing her hands in three covered boxes containing mystery creatures.
After handling a remote control toy spider, Holly had delve in to rub the cute little smooth pussies who were purring in box number two.
Finally, in box number three, she unwittingly fingered last year’s jungle queen Georgia Toffolo’s head which was waiting inside.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, Holly placed her hand in the first box and screamed leaving Phil in hysterics, she said: “What is it… what is it! It felt like a badger.”
As Holly tentatively reached in to caress the cats, Phil said: “These are live creatures, but be gentle.”
Convinced the box contained live rats, the lid was opened to reveal the cuddly creatures, whilst the final box contained Toff’s head.
After exposing herself, Toff said: “I was going to bite your finger but I thought better of it!”
Before wrapping up the show, Holly said: “I’m going to miss you all so much.”
After her Bushtucker ordeal, the blonde beauty received a goodbye package filled with all her favourite goodies that you can’t get in Australia, including Marmite and baked beans.
After coming off air, Holly took to her Instagram account to show her 4.1 million followers the bouquet of flowers she was presented with as a gift which were arranged by the florist who catered for Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank last week.
She wrote: “Well that’s goodbye to @thismorning for a little bit… beautiful flowers fit for a princess from the production team curtesy of Eugene’s wedding Florist @rvhfloraldesign Feel super spoilt! … will miss you all and look after my @schofe whist I’m away… love that silver … here are a few pictures from the show including my first and LAST bush tucker trial!!!! Kendall Jenner ‘stalker’ arrested

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner’s alleged stalker has been found sitting outside her house – twice in a week.
John Ford was arrested last month for breaking into a gated community which has been home to the likes of the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star, Britney Spears, Slash, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton and Charlie Sheen, and was ordered to stay 1,000 feet away from the estate after pleading guilty to trespass.
However, the 37-year-old Canadian – who is said to have always had his “sights set on” Kendall – scaled the mountainside at the back of the complex last week, where there is no security, and was spotted by the 22-year-old model’s team sitting in her backyard by her pool.
Police were called but Ford had gone before they arrived.
And on Tuesday (16.10.18), the man allegedly came back and got in via the unsecured mountainside again and was spotted by security on Kendall’s front porch. This time, police arrived and arrested him.
Ford is now being held on a 5150 psychiatric hold and has been charged with criminal trespass and violating a protective order.
Kendall’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, is believed to be working to also obtain a civil protective order.
This isn’t the first time Kendall has had a problem with unwanted visitors to her home.
In August 2016, she came face-to-face with Shavaughn McKenzie in the grounds of her Hollywood Hills estate and she later admitted she “felt bad” having to testify against him because she was unsure if he realised he had done anything wrong.
She said: “Is it like, weird of me though, that I feel bad for him?
“I don’t think he’s mentally there. I don’t even know if he can control what he’s doing. Like, he thinks what he’s doing is normal and fine.”
And she later added: “Being in the public eye is pretty crazy, just because people actually feel like they know you, and they get very caught up in it. And they don’t realize that they don’t actually know you.
“That was my scenario. So when he came into my house, he thought it was OK. He literally talked to me like I knew who he was.”
As the court date grew closer, the brunette beauty admitted she felt “freaked out” by the hearing, but eventually faced her fears – and found the experience wasn’t as terrible as she expected.
But Kendall also admitted she still felt bad for the stranger, who she was eventually given a five-year restraining order against.
She said: “I hate that someone said online that ‘Kendall has an obsessed fan.’ A fan loves you, wants an autograph, a picture. He’s just, like, obsessed.
“It’s really sad. I was on the verge of tears the whole time because I felt bad for him.
“Even though it’s necessary right now, it makes me sad… [but] it’s definitely necessary to protect myself, because I don’t know what anyone is capable of doing.
“I don’t know what’s happening in the universe.”

Maisie Williams has peer fear

OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Williams is “petrified” of people her own age.
The 21-year-old actress “gave up” her teenage years because of her commitments to playing Arya Stark in ‘Game of Thrones’ and she admitted she’s not spent a lot of time with her own peers.
Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, Maisie said: “I gave up a huge part of my adolescent life. I’m still petrified of my peers, because I just didn’t spend a lot of time with them.”
Though Maisie has finished work on the eighth and final season of the HBO fantasy drama series, she insists the show is still “very much” a part of her life – though she felt she’d exhausted the role once she wrapped filming.
She added: “It’s still very much a part of my life. I got to the end and I didn’t want more. I had exhausted every possible piece of Arya. And this season was quite big for me. I had a lot more to do.
“Mainly because there’s just less characters now, so everyone’s got more to do.”
The final season of the show is shrouded in mystery, but the British star thinks her character got the “perfect” ending – even though the assassin was out on her own.
She said: “I ended on the perfect scene. I was alone – shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone. But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches.”
Maisie made her own “unplanned” speech after the cast finished filming ‘Game of Thrones’ and she realised how much the show had “meant” to her.
She added: “It wasn’t something I planned, but in that moment I realised what the show meant to me.”

Ezra Miller praises JK Rowling for gay Dumbledore

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Miller has hailed J.K. Rowling “a god” for revealing Albus Dumbledore is gay.
The 26-year-old star – who described himself as queer in 2012 – praised the author for her 2007 revelation, which came after she finished the ‘Harry Potter’ novels because he thinks it has been a “gift” to the LGBTQ community.
He told Total Film magazine: “People have to take a moment and acknowledge the gift that Jo Rowling gave us by writing one of the greatest characters in literary history, one of the most beloved characters across the whole spectrum of civil society, and the beliefs and ideologies there; one of the most beloved characters; and then, at the end of writing that series, was like, ‘Oh, yeah, and he’s gay. What? Step to me.’ She is forever a god for that.”
And Ezra admitted he found the legendary wizard’s sexuality “extremely explicit” in the upcoming prequel, ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, in which he reprises his role as Credence Barebone.
He said: “It’s a funny idea to me that every form of representation has to look the same.
“For me, personally, I find Dumbledore’s queerness extremely explicit in this film. I mean, all around.
“He sees Grindelwald, his young lover who’s the love of his life; he sees him in the Mirror of Erised. What does the Mirror of Erised show you? Nothing more than the most desperate desire of your heart. If that’s not explicitly gay, I don’t know what is.
“I think it’s also really powerful to have characters who are fascinating, dynamic people, doing magical works in the world, and that the story does not only pertain to their sexuality.”
The actor also slammed the critics of the upcoming movie’s representation of relationships and sexuality, insisting judgement should be reserved until watching the film.
He said: “Why don’t you wait until you see the film before you start talking s**t on Twitter? Or wait to make up your own mind about something for once in your life.
“Do your own research. Make up your own mind. Follow your heart, and really, really investigate situations before you identify yourself and pick a side, and start throwing things at the opposition.
“Because that’s what’s totally screwing everything up right now. And it polarises us. We’re all human, and there’s a lot of things we can agree on.”

Anne-Marie is teaching Karate

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne-Marie is teaching Karate to her fans.
The 27-year-old singer – who has practiced the martial art since the age of nine – has started a web series to demonstrate basic moves – and the three-time former world champion wants to show the discipline is about “self-defence and strength”, rather than “doing backflips off a wall”.
Speaking in a video posted on her Twitter account, she said: “I started Karate when I was nine years old. The style of karate I do specifically is a very traditional style.
“It’s all about self-defence and the strength you should show and also about the journey of where you come from to where you go.
“For me I wanted to do this series to show that side of it rather than doing a backflip off a wall.”
The ‘2002’ hitmaker also revealed there will be a few special guests in the show to “spice it up” and encouraged fans to keep up with the series to learn some moves.
She said: “Throughout this series I’m gonna be showing you some karate moves and stuff all about karate and I’m gonna have some special guests along with me to spice it up a bit so it’s gonna be fun. Stay with us on a journey and learn some karate.”
The ‘Ciao Adios’ singer tweeted a link to the video, which showed her wearing a traditional white robe with her black belt proudly on display.
She wrote: “Doing a new series on my YouTube channel teaching you some karate, they’ll be a new episode every week. It’s gonna be A LOT of fun, got some great guests coming so check it out & subscribe.”

Katie Piper went on a personal journey on Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Piper says that her time on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ was a “personal journey” for her.
The 35-year-old philanthropist left the BBC One ballroom competition last Sunday along with her professional partner Gorka Marquez and although she found the routines very challenging at first she eventually conquered her nerves and learnt to enjoy learning how to dance.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, Katie said: “Do you know what, I was really annoyed with myself for week one for being so nervous. I’d just come off a theatre tour on my own, I thought, how can I be so anxious and scared? But you know, it’s like nothing else. It’s really intimidating.
“I had a good relationship with Gorka and after week two I did get over those nerves. Even though I went I can look back and say I had a really good laugh, and I know it’s so cliché, but a bit of a personal journey. It’s positive they keep it strictly to dance as it should be.”
Katie and Gorka performed their jive to ‘Why Do Fools Fall In Love’ once again in the dance off but all the judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas opted to save actor Charles Venn and his partner Karen Clifton.
The presenter confessed she knew it was the right time for her to be voted off the dancing competition because her moves weren’t getting any “better”.
Katie added: “Oh god I’m rubbish and everyone knows, but you feel a sense of relief in that you know it’s right – Charles was a better dancer than me. Say I’d been saved another week. Max, I didn’t have much more than another week to give. I don’t have any musicality as the judges kept telling me, if I’d gone away and trained for another week I don’t think I would have got better, I would have stayed the same.”

Jada Pinkett Smith and Leah Remini end feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Jada Pinkett Smith and Leah Remini have ended their feud.
The ‘Girls Trip’ actress has bonded with the 48-year-old star after realising they were both “broken little girls” and they have been able to put their 2017 clash – which saw Jada deny Leah’s claim she is a member of the Church of Scientology – behind them.
Jada said: “What was really emotional about it was realising that there was two broken little girls in us that were abandoned by their fathers and turned into fighters who clashed.”
And Jada has learned a lot from Leah – who left the church after 35 years in 2013 and has been an outspoken critic of the religion ever since – after sitting down with her to learn her story.
She told People magazine: “You have to treat people with kindness because you don’t know what they’re going through.
“When she told me her story, I had so much more compassion and it reiterated the necessity to just be gentle and kind because we’re all f***ing devastated.”
The 47-year-old actress is grateful that the ‘Old School’ actress was the bigger person and “reached out” to resolve their differences.
She said: “It was really beautiful and she reached out to me. She was much more bigger than me in that way. It was nice to reconnect and release ourselves from all that nonsense that doesn’t matter.”
Jada rubbished claims she was a Scientologist on Twitter last September after Leah alleged she had seen her at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre in Los Angeles on many occasions.
Jada – who has 20-year-old son Jaden and 17-year-old daughter Willow with husband Will Smith – insists that just because she has visited the Scientology Celebrity Centre doesn’t make her a follower of the quasi religion, just as her trips to various mosques, temples and Christian churches around the world do not make her a follower of any of the religions associated with those places of worship.
In a series of tweets, she posted: “I recently lit Shabbat candles with Rabbi Bentley at Temple Sinai… but I am not Jewish.
“I have prayed in mosques all over the world … but I am not a Muslim.
“I have read the Bhagavad Gita … but I am not a Hindu. I have chanted and meditated in some of the most magnificent temples on earth … but I am not a Buddhist. I have studied Dianetics, and appreciate the merits of Study Tech … but I am not a Scientologist. Scientology is a body of beliefs and practices created in 1954 by American science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard.
Bizarrely, Hubbard claimed that billions of extra-terrestrial beings were sent to Earth by Xenu – the dictator of the ‘Galactic Confederacy’, comprised of 26 stars and 76 planets including Earth – who gathered them around volcanoes and then destroyed the aliens with hydrogen bombs.
The aliens’ souls attached themselves to chosen humans, known as thetans, who will be one day be saved from their life of spiritual harm.
