Cardi B seeks advice about her post-pregnancy body

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B wants advice from other mothers about her post-pregnancy body.
The outspoken rap star – who has a three-month-old daughter called Kulture with her husband Offset – has taken to her Instagram account to post a picture of her stomach and to ask fellow parents how she can go about recapturing her pre-pregnancy appearance.
Cardi – who is wearing a crop top in the photograph – wrote: “Ladies how do you guys get rid of the black line in the middle of your stomach after giving birth?? cause b***h (sic)”
The post has already been liked more than two million times, and plenty of Cardi’s followers have been happy to offer their advice to the 26-year-old star.
Meanwhile, Cardi recently admitted to doubting whether she and Offset could sustain their marriage due to their busy schedules.
She shared: “When I got married with my dude, we still had a lot of doubts, because our relationship is not like everybody’s.
“He was always travelling, and I was always travelling. We’re artists.
“So I used to see him, like, twice a week, and, you know, he’s known for having different women, and I’m known for, like, not taking s**t from guys. But we really loved each other, and we was scared to lose each other.”
Cardi also revealed she’s determined to create the best possible life for Kulture.
She said: “I do not want to raise my future kids where I was raised, and I know the only way to do it is working, working, working, working, working.
“I don’t want to live in a small Bronx apartment. I don’t want to have three kids that got to share one room. I don’t want my kids to go to school and get gang-affiliated. I don’t want to do welfare. I don’t.”

Priyanka Chopra feels ‘really excited’ about Duchess of Sussex’s baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra is “really excited” about the Duchess of Sussex’s baby news.
The Indian actress – who is a friend of the Duchess and was invited to her wedding in May – has revealed she can’t wait for the former ‘Suits’ star to welcome her first child with the Duke of Sussex.
Priyanka told People: “I would, as a friend, just say that I’m really excited for her.
“I think this is a new phase in every woman’s life, and I hope hers is as amazing as she wants it to be.”
Priyanka previously praised the Duchess for how she’s taken to life as a member of the British royal family.
The ‘Baywatch’ actress also revealed that their friendship hasn’t changed in light of the Duchess’ new status.
She said: “I think friendships depend on people individually and how personal your relationship is.
“You can have work friendships, those are different. But when you have real friendships, like ours, it doesn’t matter what people look at you as or where your world goes, you sort of just, stay friends. And I think that’s what we’re like.”
Meanwhile, Priyanka recently hinted she wants to start a family with Nick Jonas.
The ‘Quantico’ star – who is engaged to Nick – revealed she feels under pressure to “catch up” with all of her friends, including the Duchess.
She said: “I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now and I’m like, ‘God I need to catch up!'”
A source has also claimed that Priyanka and Nick are ready to tie the knot “‘sooner than later”.
The insider shared: “Priyanka has already been planning the wedding for a couple of months now and is excited to call Nick her husband one day.
”Priyanka and Nick are on the same page about wanting to get married earlier rather than later, and are telling friends it will most likely be next year.”

Viola Davis says The Help is a ‘missed opportunity’

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis considers ‘The Help’ to be a “missed opportunity”.
The Oscar-winning actress starred alongside the likes of Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain in the 2011 movie, which tells the story of a young white woman and her relationship with two black maids.
Viola, 53 – who played the part of Aibileen Clark, one of the maids – explained: “Listen, ‘The Help’ changed my life in a lot of different ways.
“First of all, the friendships that I got – that experience is something I know I’ll never have again. And Tate [Taylor, the director] is a great collaborator.
“I don’t want them to feel that I am blasting them in any way. It has nothing to do with the players.”
Instead, Viola feels uncomfortable that the story is largely told from the viewpoint of a white woman.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “It has something to do with the culture – that I don’t feel that people want to see, want to hear that voice in that time period.
“Because what it will become is an indictment, and it shouldn’t be. I look back at that movie as a missed opportunity.”
The film is set during the Civil Rights movement and Viola feels it was “just too filtered down”.
The acclaimed actress wishes ‘The Help’ – which is based on a 2009 novel of the same name by Kathryn Stockett – would have presented a more well-rounded version of history.
She said: “I understand that time period. It’s a 100-year time period that was rife with lots of violence and anger, and people with lost dreams and hopes. I wanted the frustration and that anger to be more palpable.”

Duke of Sussex relishes sharing ‘personal joy’ of baby announcement

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Sussex is delighted he’s been able to share his baby joy with the people of Australia.
The 34-year-old royal and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, recently announced they are expecting their first child together, and the Duke has spoken of his happiness during a speech at the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday (20.10.18).
The Duke – who is currently on a 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga with his wife – told the crowd: “First of all, thank you for the welcome you have given Meghan and I over the last few days.
“I have been so proud to be able to introduce my wife to you and we have been so happy to be able to celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with you all.”
The Duke also spoke enthusiastically about the Invictus Games, which is a Paralympic-style event for wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel.
He said: “Our Invictus family has turned these games into a symbol of strength, honour and optimism for a new generation.”
Meanwhile, the Duchess recently revealed she’s been waking up in the early hours of the morning to do yoga because she cannot sleep.
The former ‘Suits’ actress told Charlotte Waverley about her sleepless nights, and how her pregnancy feels like “having jet lag”.
Charlotte – who met the Duchess in Sydney – said: “Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag. She said she was up at 4.30am this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn’t sleep.
“It’s a bit of a double whammy for her, she said, as she has both the baby and the jet lag to contend with.”

Chris Hemsworth fears boredom

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth’s greatest fear is “boredom”.
The ‘Bad Times at the El Royale’ actor – who has daughter India, six, and four-year-old twin sons Sacha and Tristan with wife Elsa Pataky – believes his desire to always look for new things to capture his interest has helped drive him into his career.
Asked his biggest fear, he said: “Boredom. I think that’s what drove me into this line of work.
“There’s so much going on, different settings, different movements, different people. It keeps me interested.”
The 35-year-old actor loves taking on work that scares him a little bit because it pushes him harder and makes his job more challenging.
Asked his ambitions for the future, he said: “I want to keep learning and exploring interesting stories and characters.
“I like being able to go into a project with a little bit of fear because it’s that element of fear that pushes you harder.”
But it isn’t just the love of his work that drives Chris on, as the ‘Thor’ actor is keen to do what he can to have a “great future” with his family.
He added: “I also want to be a good husband and father to my children.
“I’m living the life I always dreamed of and I want to do everything I can to enjoy a great future with my family.”
And Chris admitted his professional success has been far greater than he ever expected.
He added to Psychologies magazine: “In terms of work, a few years ago I would have settled for much less than I’ve been able to achieve – I never imagined getting to this point in my career.
“But now I see work as something I do for my family, so that they can all enjoy the advantages and benefits of whatever success I have.”

Jess Glynne’s control issues

OHMYGOSSIP — Jess Glynne has “real issues” about control.
The 28-year-old singer is a “big fat perfectionist” and struggles to let go of making decisions about her wardrobe, producing her records and making her videos, but she’s learned to trust that people have her best interests at heart.
She said: “I’m a big fat perfectionist and have real issues with control. When it comes to a song, the production, the video, the styling, I find it hard to hand things over [but] you have to trust people.
“I’m hard on myself and that’s not always a good thing, but I think it’s one of the reasons I’ve got to where I am.”
The ‘Hold Your Hand’ hitmaker admitted it was initially tough to write her new album, ‘Always in Between’ but once she felt in the right headspace, she went away with her writing team and had “one of the best weeks” of her life, which was so productive, they finished the retreat with a complete record.
She said: “It took a while. Initially, I felt I was ready to write again but went in prematurely.
“Then, towards the end of 2017, I was like, ‘Right, I’m ready’, and asked if we could get a bit of space in the middle of nowhere. So they found this house for me in Sussex. We went away for a week.
“It was one of the best weeks of my life. I was with people I knew and people I hadn’t met before, we became like a family. I walked out with a complete album.”
The bisexual star insisted the title of the record doesn’t just relate to her sexuality.
She explained to Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “It comes from the fact that my life has been in between for the last four years. I’ve been here, there and everywhere in work, my personal life and relationships – be it with a man or a woman.
“The reason I chose that title is because I’ve accepted that it’s OK to not be one way or the other. I wanted to say you’re not lost by being in the middle.
“The sexuality thing does come into it, but that’s not only what it’s about.”

Miles Kane: Last Shadow Puppets could reform

OHMYGOSSIP — Miles Kane would “never say never” to another Last Shadow Puppets reunion.
The 32-year-old rocker – who recently released his third solo album ‘Coup De Grace’ – formed the side project with Arctic Monkeys frontman and longtime pal Alex Turner in 2008 before releasing their second album ‘Everything You’ve Come To Expect’ in 2016.
And although fans had to wait a lengthy eight years between releases, Miles has said there could be another revival of the group in the future.
He said: “The Last Shadow Puppets was good, I had great fun with that. Bring them back? Who knows, yeah! Never say never.”
The ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’ hitmaker was previously a frontman for The Rascals before embarking on his solo endeavours, and after having been friends with Alex for several years, he’s often been compared to the superstar rocker.
Miles admits the comparisons used to upset him when he was younger, but says he now has the confidence to know he’s “amazing” on his own.
He said: “I think it’s inevitable – I used to feel the comparison when I was younger, but I don’t really care now, you know, you think what you think. I know I’m amazing and I know I make good music. I used to think of the comparisons like that, and it’s fair enough, I get it, I’d probably think the same, but I don’t really care now.”
Despite feeling the scrutiny in his early days, Miles now even sees the comparisons as a good thing.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, he said: “I don’t blame people if they want to compare – it’s going to happen, so it’s cool. And it’s not like it’s not a bad thing, is it? His new album is great, it’s fantastic.”

Duchess Meghan cutting back royal schedule amid pregnancy

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is cutting back her schedule in Australia, following the announcement of her pregnancy.
The 37-year-old royal – who was known as Meghan Markle before tying the knot with Prince Harry in May – announced earlier this week she was expecting her first child with her spouse, and despite previously saying the pair would not be cutting down any planned events on their current royal tour of Australia and New Zealand, they have now decided it would be best to let the Duchess “rest”.
A royal aide said: “After a busy programme, The Duke and Duchess have decided to cut back The Duchess’s schedule slightly for the next couple of days, ahead of the final week and a half of the tour.
“The Duke will attend the cycling as scheduled this morning, and The Duchess will join him for this afternoon’s engagements. The Duke will continue with the engagements on Fraser Island as planned.”
The former ‘Suits’ star is still expected to travel to Fraser Island – which is the world’s largest sand island and can be difficult terrain for pregnant women – but it is thought she may not take part in as many engagements as originally planned.
According to several royal correspondents – who posted the news on Twitter – Meghan is “feeling fine” but her team are trying to “pace things for her.”
HELLO! magazine’s royal editor Emily Nash wrote: “The Duchess of Sussex won’t be attending the cycling this morning after last night’s late finish, but should join the Duke for the other engagements. “She’s feeling fine, but resting,” says a royal source. #IG2018 #RoyalTourAustralia
“She may still be able to carry out some engagements, but a source says they are “just trying to pace things for her” #RoyalVisitAustralia #DuchessofSussex (sic)”
The news comes after Meghan revealed to Emily Carroll – whose family live on Mountain View farm, which she and 34-year-old Harry visited earlier this week – that she was due to complete 76 engagements in just 16 days during their tour, which will also see them travel to Fiji and Tonga.
Emily said: “Meghan told me that she’s feeling pretty good so far, which is great, and that she’s running on adrenaline.
“She said they’re doing 76 engagements in 16 days, with maybe one rest in the middle. She’s made for this royal business, isn’t she?”

Selma Blair battling MS

OHMYGOSSIP — Selma Blair is battling multiple sclerosis.
The 46-year-old revealed on Instagram that she suffers with the condition which affects the brain and spinal chord as the body mistakes myelin – which is supposed to protect the nerve fibres in the central nervous system – for a foreign body and attacks it.
The condition – which is also known as MS – is different for everybody and can produce a range of symptoms, but in the ‘Cruel Intentions’ star’s lengthy social media post, she revealed it causes her to “fall” and “drop things”.
She wrote: “I was in this wardrobe fitting two days ago. And I am in the deepest gratitude. So profound, it is, I have decided to share. The brilliant costumer #Allisaswanson not only designs the pieces #harperglass will wear on this new #Netflix show , but she carefully gets my legs in my pants, pulls my tops over my head, buttons my coats and offers her shoulder to steady myself.
“I have #multiplesclerosis . I am in an exacerbation. By the grace of the lord, and will power and the understanding producers at Netflix , I have a job. A wonderful job. I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken gps. But we are doing it . And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best. (sic)”
The ‘Hellboy’ actress was diagnosed with MS in August, and says since then, she’s had a whole host of friends, including fellow stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze and Jaime King, to lean on for support.
She continued: “Since my diagnosis at ten thirty pm on The night of August 16, I have had love and support from my friends , especially @jaime_king @sarahmgellar@realfreddieprinze @tarasubkoff@noah.d.newman . My producers #noreenhalpern who assured me that everyone has something. #chrisregina #aaronmartin and every crew member… thank you. I am in the thick of it but I hope to give some hope to others. And even to myself. You can’t get help unless you ask. It can be overwhelming in the beginning. You want to sleep. You always want to sleep. So I don’t have answers. You see, I want to sleep. But I am a forthcoming person and I want my life to be full somehow. I want to play with my son again. I want to walk down the street and ride my horse. (sic)”
Selma thinks she may have been battling the illness for “15 years at least”, but was only diagnosed after she fell over in front of her doctor with what she assumed to be pain from a “pinched nerve”.
Closing off her Instagram message, she wrote: “I have MS and I am ok. But if you see me , dropping crap all over the street, feel free to help me pick it up. It takes a whole day for me alone. Thank you and may we all know good days amongst the challenges. And the biggest thanks to @elizberkley who forced me to see her brother #drjasonberkley who gave me this diagnosis after finding lesions on that mri. I have had symptoms for years but was never taken seriously until I fell down in front of him trying to sort out what I thought was a pinched nerve. I have probably had this incurable disease for 15 years at least. And I am relieved to at least know. And share. my instagram family… you know who you are. (sic)”

Thomas Markle ‘filled with joy’ after daughter Meghan’s pregnancy announcement

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Markle is “filled with love, joy, and happiness” following the news his daughter, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is expecting a baby.
The 37-year-old royal is set to welcome her first child with husband Prince Harry in Spring next year, and her father – who has previously hit the headlines for lashing out at his daughter, claiming she would be “nothing” without him – has broken his silence on the news, stating he is “proud” to be set to become a grandfather.
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday newspaper, the 74-year-old former lighting director said: “I was sitting in line waiting to cross the border when I heard the baby announcement on the car radio. The first thing I thought about was holding Meghan in my arms as a newborn 37 years ago.
“I thought, ‘My baby is having a baby.’ It was a very proud moment. I was filled with love, joy and happiness for both my beautiful daughter and my son-in-law. A new baby is a blessing and I look forward to seeing a little Meghan or a little Harry.”
His comments come after Meghan’s half-sister Samantha – who has also been outspokenly critical of the former ‘Suits’ star – hoped their father would be included in the tot’s life, after he was left out of the initial pregnancy announcement.
She said: “I would hope that – for the sake of the baby, the family, the world and my dad – that leaving him out of the statement was not intentional.
“I hope my dad is included and at a proper time. If he is excluded, I won’t be happy. It is in the best interests of the baby for my dad to be included.
“A baby changes everything and softens everyone. I would only hope that there would be some adjustment or some way of including him.”
In the statement confirming Meghan’s pregnancy, her mother Doria Ragland was mentioned, but Thomas’ name was kept out of the message after he was said to have embarrassed his daughter and 34-year-old Harry after being paid to stage paparazzi photographs before their wedding.

Seann Walsh ‘ignored’ by fellow Strictly Come Dancing stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Seann Walsh is reportedly being “ignored” by his fellow ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestants after he was spotted kissing married professional partner Katya Jones.
The 32-year-old comedian was in a relationship when he was pictured locking lips with his dance partner – who is married to fellow ‘Strictly’ star Neil Jones – and it has now been claimed that his actions have caused him to be ostracised from the WhatsApp group which has been joined by all the current show’s competitors and their partners.
An insider said: “This series is definitely the most bitchiest and frostiest series ever and there is Seann standing right at the heart of it.
“It was always felt that Seann wasn’t as liked from the start but after he was pictured kissing Katya those feelings against him have only intensified.
“Seann was overheard voicing his concerns that he gets ignored on the group. He’ll put out a message and only receive a muted reaction.
“Then another member of the group will message something completely different and receive several responses to it. It’s everyone’s not-so-subtle way of making sure he’s aware how everyone feel, especially when Neil and Katya are also present on the group.
“Everyone wishes that he could be taken off of it, as it would make things considerably less awkward, but instead he’s just been phased out with the hope he’ll leave of his own accord.”
The source claims Seann – whose girlfriend Rebecca Humphries split with him following the incident – doesn’t socialise with the other contestants whilst the BBC latin and ballroom dance competition is being filmed, and so they’ve all decided to “give him a wide berth”.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday’s Bizarre TV column, the source added: “The pro dancers are fully behind Neil and Katya and have relayed that message to their celeb partners who have followed suit.
“They’ve also gone cold on Seann and the whole atmosphere backstage is very frosty. Seann has since kept himself to himself and doesn’t really to socialises with anyone. He turns up, dances and leaves straight away.
“Some of the celebrities have light-heartedly tried to talk to him about the incident but he’s having none of it. So they’ve all decided that it’s for the best if they give him a wide berth.”

Craig Revel Horwood drank whiskey that killed his father

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood drank the whiskey that killed his father.
The 53-year-old television judge lost his dad Philip when he got behind the wheel of his car five times over the drink-driving limit after having drunk homemade bourbon which was gifted to him by a “well-meaning neighbour”.
After his father passed away, Craig travelled to Australia to clear out his father’s house, and says he and his sister finished the strong drink “for some macabre reason”.
He said: “A well-meaning neighbour gave him a batch as an early Christmas present and for some reason we will never understand, he decided to crack it open that weekend.
“Being a beer-only alcoholic, this was unusual behaviour.
“For some macabre reason, my sister Sue kept the bottle with a tiny drop that was left and we tasted it when I was home.”
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge used the money he inherited from his father to build a wine cellar, and although the room is filled with booze, he uses it as a reminder not to follow his father into alcoholism.
He added: “I wanted to do something that would pay homage to my father and remind me that if you drink too much, or if you drank that whole fridge, you would be dead.
“The drink killed him. It’s a constant reminder that one should consider alcohol and what you drink.”
Craig also has a plaque on a bench dedicated to his father which features his morning mantra: “Heave ho, heave ho, heave ho, lash up and stow.”
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he said: “When I sit on that bench it reminds me he was a human being with desperately dark problems.
“Only other people who have been through it could possibly understand there is a nice side to alcoholics.”

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman 2 plans

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Momoa already “has plans” for ‘Aquaman 2’.
The 39-year-old actor is set to star as the water-based superhero in his first full length movie this December – after previously having a cameo role in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, and a slightly larger role in last year’s ‘Justice League’ – and although the eponymously titled movie hasn’t been released yet, Jason says he’s already planning its sequel.
Speaking to Total Film, he said: “I definitely have an opinion. Even when we were shooting ‘Aquaman’, I have the opening of ‘Aquaman 2’ ready. I went in and pitched it to [producer Peter] Safran, and I pitched it to [Warner Bros. chairman] Toby Emmerich. They loved it. It’s awesome…But yeah, I have plans for ‘Aquaman 2’.”
His comments come after he previously claimed being cast as the DC comics character was the “biggest honour”.
He said: “I mean, that was the biggest honour, like when Zack [Snyder, ‘Justice League’ director] told me – there’s just so many brown-skinned kids that are gonna grow up and go, like, ‘Yeah, all of our gods are water gods.’ It is an absolute honour. Some people accept that he’s not white. I think it’s cool. It’s an honour for me to be that person standing up. Dream job, you know what I mean?”
Meanwhile, Jason previously revealed the ending of ‘Aquaman’ will see the character “become what he’s destined to be”.
He said: “He was born with the powers but he never really harnessed them, honed them. Obviously this is his whole origin story. We’ve seen him in Justice League, which is maybe two minutes of his old life, so we get to see where he came from. I think when he was a little boy, he had these powers and he didn’t really hone them, so this whole journey of him going to become the king … the last frame of this movie you’re going to see him actually become what he’s destined to be.”

Claude Littner ‘doesn’t care’ about Apprentice contestants

OHMYGOSSIP — Claude Littner doesn’t care if contestants cry on ‘The Apprentice’.
The 69-year-old businessman serves as an adviser to Lord Alan Sugar on the BBC reality show, and has said that when he travels with the business partner hopefuls to monitor what they get up to during their tasks, he often “ignores” them, and doesn’t bat an eye when they get upset.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, he said: “I am rude to all of them. I want them to be wary of me, so I ignore them throughout. If they’re upset it’s none of my business – I’m not their nursemaid. It’s not my problem, it’s somebody else’s.
“I’m not going to go up to them and say, ‘Oh you poor thing, what a shame’. Sometimes people get upset. That’s just what happens.
“When they’re crying that’s got nothing to do with me. If they break down in tears all I’ll do is write ‘She’s crying’ in my notes.
“My job is to advise Lord Sugar what happens. So I note down as best I can what happens.”
Claude insists the reason he doesn’t interact with the contestants is because he doesn’t want to show favouritism, and says he “doesn’t care about any of them”.
He added: “If I’m friendly with one of them then they might think I like them more than the others.
“I don’t show any favouritism. I do not care about any of them. I literally do not care. I never say ‘Hello’ or ‘Good morning’. If they try to talk to me I look at them with disdain. If I did chat with them, people could say I had favourites, which I don’t.
“I don’t care if it’s a woman or a man. I don’t care about anything apart from how they’re doing in the tasks.”
And the stern businessman says candidates are often “petrified” of him, especially when it comes to checking over their business proposals during the tough interview round of the competition.
He said: “The candidates are petrified and they don’t want to antagonise me because it might have a detrimental effect on them. They realise pretty well that I’m not someone who is going to befriend them.”

Big Brother to move to Netflix?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Big Brother’ could be set to move to Netflix.
The long running reality TV series – which is currently hosted by Emma Willis – is currently airing its final civilian season on Channel 5, and although the future of the show and its celebrity version hang in the balance, it has been claimed it could move to online platform Netflix.
Endemol, who own the format of the programme, are said to be sitting down with the streaming service for discussions next week, and sources say it could act as the “saviour” of the show.
A TV source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Netflix could be the saviours of Big Brother – the news fans have wanted to hear since Channel 5 made the announcement.
“Executives at Endemol are meeting with Netflix early next week.
“Of course it’s still early days.
“Streaming sites have a lot of money so it’s an option they’re looking at.”
The news comes after show host Emma recently admitted she was “sad and disappointed” that Channel 5 had decided to drop the programme.
She said: “I feel sad and disappointed because it’s been a massive part of my life as a human being before I worked on it and also as a career and as a member of the British public, as it’s been on TV for almost 20 years.
“I am sad about it but everything needs a break at some point or a rest or a new home to breathe life into it again.
“So hopefully it will come back in some way shape or form at some point but if it does come back it needs to be in the right way and not rushed.”
Back in September, Channel 5 confirmed it would not be renewing its contract with Endemol to continue airing the show, which was originally broadcast on Channel 4 before moving networks in 2011.
A spokesperson said: “The forthcoming series of Big Brother will be the last – of either celebrity or civilian versions – on Channel 5.
“We’d like to thank Endemol and all of the production team who have worked tirelessly to make the show a success.
“Most importantly, we’d like to thank fans of the show for their support over the last seven years. We look forward to giving the final series a brilliant send-off.”

Jamie Lee Curtis: Jake Gyllenhaal told me about Halloween reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis heard about the ‘Halloween’ reboot through Jake Gyllenhaal.
The 59-year-old actress reprised her role as Laurie Strode in the latest instalment of the horror franchise, and has said she found out about plans for the movie through fellow actor Jake, who had just finished working with director David Gordon Green.
When asked how she found out, Jamie said: “That was a call from Jake Gyllenhaal, who had worked with David and said, ‘My friend David, who I love and had a really good experience with, wants to talk to you about a thing. You’ve gotta call David.'”
And when she did give David a call and got sent the script, she says her immediate reaction was that it was “beautiful”.
Asked by Collider.com what her first reaction to the script was, she continued: “So, we spoke, and he sent me the script. I read it, and I called him that day. The two things that popped in to my mind, right when I read it, and I read it on vacation, was that there was a scene where Allyson went on a run in the neighbourhood and then she went into her house to get ready for school, and she opened the closet door. It’s not in the movie, but that was on page 2, and I thought, ‘Oh, that’s beautiful.’ Forty years ago, I ended in that closet, and now, here was my granddaughter, opening the closet and getting ready for school, to go on with her day. I thought that was beautiful. I thought the journalists were great, and that they were British was just perfect. Right away I was like, ‘Okay, this is fantastic.’ I finished it and thought it was great.”
