OHMYGOSSIP — The Who have been been presented with the founding stone in the Music Walk of Fame.
The ‘My Generation’ legends are the first act to be honoured with the special award at the site of the new monument in Camden Town, London.
Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were presented with the honour by Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, with fans and friends watching including the likes of Suggs and Jazzie B.
The Who said: “We are honoured to be the first band with a stone on the Music Walk Of Fame.
“Camden has always been vital to London’s thriving music scene and is, as we all know, a world-renowned hub for the arts.
“As Londoners, it’s very surreal to be immortalised in stone on Camden High Street, and it’s quite something to know that people can pop by and see us anytime, albeit virtually!”
The ‘founding stone’ itself will act at a guide to the unfolding route of the walk, with big names – from artists and creatures to executives and the media – set to be recognised at the global attraction.
Over the course of each year, up to 20 stones will be laid and marked with special celebrations, with AR technology also used to turn the streets into a museum.
The Music Walk of Fame founder Lee Bennett added: “What a great day for music, fans, the world, London, and Camden. To cap it off by having one of the greatest bands of all time, I’m thrilled to bits.”
Reflecting on the honour, Roger heaped praise on the British music industry as a whole.
He said: “We’re proud of the British music business achievements, and to have it in Camden – London’s centre of music, especially in the ’60s and ’70s – it’s just an honour, it’s great.”
Bandmate Pete added: “We’re really pleased to get this – not just because we’re the first, if we weren’t the first it would’ve been just as wonderful.
“As Roger said, it’s an honour. And I think also what Roger says about British music is true. We still are leading the field in so many areas.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy cried “for an hour” after headlining Glastonbury because he thought his performance was terrible.
The ‘Vossi Bop’ hitmaker topped the bill on the iconic pyramid stage over the summer and despite winning widespread praise for his set, he thought it was the “worst thing” he’d ever done after struggling through technical problems.
He told Q magazine: “My in-ears blew after about 20 minutes.
“So I had no sound for the whole thing. It was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. When I walked off stage I thought I’d f***ed it.
“I thought it was the worst thing I’d ever done. I came off stage and thought I’d totally, absolutely blown it. I was crying for, like, an hour. I was in hysterics. Heartbroken, man.”
Luckily, the 26-year-old star didn’t have to wait long to watch his performance back and soon realised things hadn’t been as bad as he’d thought.
He added: “After calming down for an hour, (organiser) Emily Eavis, gave us a memory stick to watch it back.
“About halfway through I was, like, ‘S**t, it all went all right’.”
Meanwhile, Stormzy has announced he will release a new album, ‘Heavy Is The Head’, on December 13.
He shared a picture of the cover artwork and Twitter, and also the tracklisting, which revealed collaborations including one with Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy on a track called ‘Own It’, Headie One on ‘Audacity’ and ‘One Second’ with H.E.R..
Ahead of his Glastonbury slot, the ‘Big For Your Boots’ hitmaker sought the advice of 2016 and 2017 headliners Adele and Ed Sheeran and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, whose band have topped the bill four times.
He said ahead of the gig: “This is real name-dropping – I’ve spoken to Ed, Chris Martin and Adele about it.
“They’ve given me the tips and powers.
“That sounds like a cliche, ‘Oh go do your thing’, but that’s what they’ve said.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams and Coldplay are set to battle it out for the UK Christmas number one.
The solo star will go head-to-head with Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion when they both release their new albums during the festive season.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Coldplay and Robbie are both massive forces when it comes to selling albums so the numbers they will shift next week will be huge.
“They have strong track records and very dedicated fanbases who will fight for their act to get to number one.
“At the moment Coldplay are looking likely to pip him to the post, but with a week and a half to go it’s anyone’s game, especially given all of the publicity Robbie has done.”
All seven of Coldplay’s albums have reached the top spot, while Robbie has hit number one with his last four albums.
Meanwhile, Robbie recently revealed he is heading back to Las Vegas in 2020 for a second residency.
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker announced he’s set to return to Sin City for eight more shows between March 24 and April 4, following 16 sell-out ‘Live In Las Vegas’ performances earlier this year.
He said: “I’m so excited to be returning to Las Vegas for new residency dates next year.
“To have my own run of Vegas shows was a real dream come true and I can’t wait to come back.”
Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, added: “Robbie Williams is coming back to where he belongs – Las Vegas.
“Robbie’s personality and style are as unique as this town and we couldn’t be happier to have him back at Wynn. Robbie packed the house every night with audience members from near and far.
“Whether they had seen him one time or one hundred times, the crowd all had one thing in common: They loved the show!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gerard Way thinks the timing is just right for My Chemical Romance to get back together.
The ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ rockers announced their return last month – seven years after they last performed live – and they’ll be kicking off their comeback on December 20 at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles with old friends Thursday as special guests.
Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly – who also produced My Chemical Romance’s 2002 debut album ‘I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love’ – has spoken to singer Gerard about the band getting back together, and why it had to happen now.
He told Kerrang! magazine: “I spoke to Gerard about the reunion a little bit recently and he said it felt like it was the right time.
“One of the things he said was, ‘I don’t know if it would have happened if it wasn’t now.’ And I got what he meant by that.”
Geoff suggested that leaving a reunion any longer could have run the risk of making the whole experience seem “too distant” to revisit.
He added: “At some point, it just becomes too long, like, ‘I don’t think I can get back there personally. It’s just too distant and too weird’.
“So I’m glad that they’re doing it. I think it’s amazing. And no matter what, I’m going.”
The upcoming show will mark the My Chemical Romance’s first performance together since 2012, and comes almost a decade after their last album, ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’, which was released in 2010.
The band – completed by guitarists Frank Iero and Ray Toro, and bassist Mikey Way – also recently announced four gigs for next year, confirming they will be taking their comeback overseas in March.
Although they have largely stayed tight lipped since confirming the comeback, they did acknowledge the fan reaction to the news on social media.
Just days after the initial announcement, they wrote: “It is truly unbelievable to us the happiness we have experienced over the past two days. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Aerosmith have teased “the next big thing” for Las Vegas.
The ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ stars – who kick started their ‘Deuces Are Wild’ residency earlier this year – are set to continue their run at Sin City’s Park Theatre until June 2020, and now they have hinted at something special with an exciting announcement coming in early next year.
In a cryptic Twitter post, the legendary band – comprised of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford – coyly wrote: “You know we only do ‘Amazing’ things.
“Which is why we’ve teamed up with #Vegas to create the next big thing for the city… Find out more January 26th 2020! #LasVegas @vegas #Aerosmith #DuecesAreWild (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘Crazy’ hitmakers saw their careers revived when they teamed up with hip-hop icons Run-DMC in 1986 on a new version of ‘Walk this Way’, and guitarist Joe previously admitted he had no idea how big an impact the track would make.
He said: “We really didn’t realise the impact that song and that video made on people until we were touring in Europe and there were people who thought we were a new band.
“They didn’t know anything about the earlier days. We were fascinated by that.
“When Rick Rubin sent us a couple of plane tickets to go to New York to record the song and then make the video a couple of months later, for us it was business as usual.
“Obviously the song was a big hit, but we really didn’t realise what the impact was.
“Without it, we would have kept playing and going on, and it would have been us doing what we’ve always done. Who knows what we would have written later down the road, but there was some divine intervention there that put us in touch with Run-DMC. I’m really pleased that it happened.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams doesn’t think an Oasis revival would be as successful as Take That’s comeback.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker has continued his feud with Liam Gallagher and suggested a return for the Britpop legends wouldn’t sell as many tickets as his own band’s reunion tour in 2010.
He told Music Week: “When Oasis eventually get back together in five or 10 years’ time, there’ll be a wry smile that they won’t sell as many tickets as we did.”
Take That’s ‘Progress’ run was hugely successful and helped relaunch Robbie’s solo career, and he thinks the impact would be hard to match.
He added: “Us f***ing herberts from the north did the biggest tour the music industry’s ever seen, incredibly special. I needed a place to go and hide in public.
“I’d taken three years off and my body, mind and psyche had just collapsed. I didn’t know who I was or what I was doing it for.
“The boys helped me to come back. I got to sell the biggest album of that year and do the biggest tour the UK’s ever seen in the history of music.”
It’s safe to say Robbie and Liam don’t see eye to eye, and the ‘Angels’ singer recently challenged his rival to a “professional” boxing match two decades after first laying down the gauntlet ar the BRIT Awards.
He said: “I’d love it. But I’d want it to be a professional fight. I’ve just seen how much KSI and Logan Paul made from their fight and I think we could trounce that.
“But, yeah, I think last time in the noughties Liam wanted to go down to an abandoned railway track or something.
“I don’t want to do that. It’s got to be f***ing whistles and bells if it happens… Liam and I would be a wonderful thing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi can’t believe the reaction to his new single ‘Before You Go’.
The 23-year-old star released the emotional track – which he wrote about the aftermath of his aunt taking her own life when he was a child – on Tuesday (19.11.19) and the song is already proving popular with his fanbase.
He posted a celebratory post on Instagram, and wrote: “My new song ‘Before You Go’ has reached 1️ MILLION plays on @spotify in just over 12 hours! Is also top of the iTunes chart in the UK and Ireland!!!!!!!
“Never ever had a reaction to a release like this before! thank u all so much!!! who has got it on repeat? (sic)”
Despite it’s incredibly deep subject matter, Lewis had joked the track would “mean ever more” to him if it became a big hit.
He said: “Seriously one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. this song means a lot to me, but it will mean even more if it becomes successful (sic)”
Opening up on the song, the star has revealed inspiration for the song came as he spoke to his mother about the death of her sister almost 20 years ago.
He recently said: “The song’s kind of, it comes from a place of … it’s about suicide and it’s about no necessarily the act of it itself obviously, but people after it happens, the aftermath of it and people blaming themselves or starting to think, what could I have done to help that person? Or whatever.
“When I was about five or six I think, my aunt committed suicide and just remember recently speaking to my mum about their feelings, her feelings about going through that sort of rigmarole in your head of, ‘What could I have done here? Could I have done anything?’ Sort of thing.”
And the release came as the Scottish singer reflected on a “wild” year in his career, and his meteoric rise to superstardom following last year’s mega hit ‘Someone You Loved’.
He tweeted: “The past year has been absolutely wild, didn’t in a million years think all of this stuff would happen to me.
“Less than 2 years ago I was lucky enough to get to gig in small pubs & bars back home in Scotland & somehow am writing this with a number 1 single in America and getting to play to and meet thousands of ya every night all over the world!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher was happy to let his brother Liam use the Oasis name without him.
The ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ singer insists he wouldn’t have minded if his sibling decided to continue making music under their band’s name following their split, rather than change it to Beady Eye, despite the new band containing ex-members of Oasis.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, he said: “I suggested [he keep the name], when we were all still part of the same management firm and all that, and I was saying for the people, what’s Beady Eye all about? It should just be him. You know. It should just be [Oasis] … and he should have done that when the band split up, but for whatever reason, they decided they were going to start another band and all right, fair enough.”
When Noel and Liam decided to go their separate ways in 2009, following a backstage fight between the pair, the latter went on to create Beady Eye, who released two albums between 2011 and 2013. It included Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock, who were all former members of Oasis.
Liam had previously admitted he felt like he was working “for” his brother Noel in Oasis.
Asked if working on his own music is “the next best thing” to being in Oasis, Liam admitted: “Without a doubt. But saying that, it wasn’t working with Noel; we never had a working relationship. He’d go in and hog the f***ing studio for weeks and then he’d go, ‘Look, here’s a song, sing it like this’, and I’d get in and I’d make it me own. So we never had much debate about lyrics or melodies or this. I much prefer to work this way than what I did with Noel because he’d go in and do it all himself and it felt like we were working for him. I much prefer this way. I’ve got a lot more input.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez should “probably stop” working on new music.
The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ hitmaker joked she was “confusing” her record label as she gears up for her album release as she keeps writing great tracks.
Sharing a clip of herself in the studio with friends Julia Michaels and songwriter Justin Trante to her Instagram story, she wrote: “Another dream team session. We should probably stop though … I’m just confusing my label now (sic)”
Meanwhile, Selena previously admitted her new music is something she’s “passionate about” and she doesn’t want to shy away from writing songs that are meaningful to her, because she knows there are “million of people” who can relate to the “experiences” she’s had.
She said: “I spent years living in fear of speaking up or saying things and I guess that’s just the people-pleaser in me. And there was a huge moment where I just stopped caring, and I can’t tell you when that moment was, I really can’t. But it’s not that I’m trying to make it specifically about just one subject in my life. It’s more just how I embody all of the experiences into one, and I fully believe that this is always just something that I’m going to be passionate about. I don’t want to not express what I feel because I know there’s millions of people who feel the exact same way.”
And the 27-year-old singer admits her experiences have helped to shape her upcoming album, and although she has been working on the record for years, she says she only recently started writing the songs she wants to include on the tracklist.
She added: “I learned a lot from the last album and I wanted to take what I’ve learned and turn it into something even better and I’m glad I did because this year, everything kind of just started pouring out of me. I started saying things in a way that I’ve never been able to articulate them before, so it was actually exactly when it needed to happen.”

OHMYGOSSIP — KISS performed a show for great white sharks – but none turned up.
The US rockers were in Australia for the special shark show, but it appears the aquatic beasts didn’t get the invite because they didn’t attend the gig on the coast of of Port Lincoln.
Event host Matt Waller told local news site ABC Eyre Peninsula: “The guys were tight, they were right into it, it was loud, there were lights, there were smoke machines.
“It was everything that a KISS concert should be.”
The ‘Crazy Crazy Nights’ hitmakers had tried to be accommodating to the great whites by broadcasting the show, which took place on Monday (18.11.19), via underwater speakers, but they were given a shark snub.
They put on the gig because it is said great whites are attracted to “low-frequency sounds of rock and roll”.
Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer played the show Down Under, but Paul Stanley had to miss the event after being stuck down with a “bad case of influenza”, which forced the band to delay the start of their Australian tour and postpone their only New Zealand date.
Speaking previously about the shark show, Paul joked: “I’m not sure how much of us the sharks can take.
“I’m hoping they know ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’.”
The rock legends were due to fly over to Australia last week from Los Angeles to kick off the next leg of their farewell ‘End Of The Road Tour’ last Saturday (16.11.19) at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, but the 67-year-old guitarist was advised by doctors not to take the long-haul flight.
Promoters TEG Live announced that the band had rescheduled their Perth show to December 3, but, unfortunately, this was the same date as their only New Zealand concert at Auckland’s Spark Arena, which they’ve promised to reschedule at a later date.
Gene and co insisted they “don’t want to not give 100 per cent” to their loyal fans.
In a statement issued earlier this month, the band said: “KISS today announced unavoidable changes to their upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour schedule.
“The legendary rockers were due to leave the U.S. tomorrow to kick off their eagerly awaited ‘End Of The Road’ tour in Perth this Saturday November 16.
“Due to a bad case of Influenza, doctors have advised Paul Stanley to rest for the next few days and not to undertake the long trip from Los Angeles to Perth. “With the expectation of Australian audiences high, KISS don’t want to not give 100% and so have made changes to the Australian and New Zealand dates. The Perth RAC Arena concert on November 16 has been rescheduled from the beginning to the end of the Australian tour and will now take place on Tuesday December 3. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Grimes believes live music will become “obsolete soon”.
The 31-year-old singer thinks the landscape will change because people “don’t actually want the real world” and prefer to be in a “simulation” where thinks seem better because they have been manufactured.
Speaking on Sean Carroll’s ‘Mindscape’ podcast, she said: “I think live music is going to be obsolete soon… DJs get paid more than real musicians.
“It’s kinda like Instagram or whatever. People are actually just gravitating towards the clean, finished, fake world.
“Everyone wants to be in a simulation. They don’t actually want the real world.
“Even if they think they do and everyone’s like, ‘Yeah, cool, live music!’ if you actually look at actual numbers of things, everyone’s gravitating towards the shimmery perfected Photoshop world.”
And the ‘Genesis’ singer suggested she would welcome the change.
She admitted: “As a performer, I hate the potential of failure in front of a giant audience.”
Grimes also believes technology is taking away barriers to the affordability and accessibility of musical equipment.
She noted: “[The world will hit] a singularity point in 5 or 10 years where you won’t need really anything. [But] there’s things right now that just don’t sound as good if you don’t have hardware.”
And the ‘So Heavy’ singer also believes artificial intelligence (AI) will ultimately lead to “the end of human art”.
She said: “Once there’s actually AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), they’re gonna be so much better at making art than us…once AI can totally master science and art, which could happen in the next 10 years, probably more like 20 or 30 years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay won’t tour their new album until it’s environmentally friendly.
The ‘Paradise’ hitmakers will release their eighth record ‘Everyday Life’ – their first since 2015’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ – on Friday (22.11.19), and frontman Chris Martin has confirmed they won’t be hitting the road to support it until their live runs are sustainable.
Speaking to BBC News, he said: “Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that [last world tour] environmentally. We would be disappointed if it’s not carbon neutral.
“We’ve done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it’s no so much taking as giving?”
While the 42-year-old musician wants all of the group’s future tours to “have a positive impact”, he explained how everyone involved needs to help them get to that point.
He added: “We’re taking time to see how our tour can be actively beneficial… All of us have to work out the best way of doing our job.”
Chris revealed the upcoming double album – with two halves, called ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Sunset’ – reflects the band’s feelings on the environment.
He said: “If you’ve had the privilege of travelling around the world, you know we’re all from the same place…In a very gentle British way, this record is us saying we don’t feel different from any human on earth.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher wants to find a fan scarred for life by a flare at his show.
The former Oasis star was performing at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield on Monday (18.11.19) when Stacey Andrew, 27, was horrifically burnt after another fan threw a flare, causing her shirt to go up in flames and leaving her with severe burns across her chest and arms.
Taking to Twitter, Liam wrote: “I’m sorry to hear what happened to Stacey Andrew the other night it’s not cool.
“People need to chill the f**k out with the flares.
“Can someone from her family get in contact with us thanx LG x (sic)”
Stacey – who went to the show with her partner Callum Mutton – has opened up about the ordeal this week, and described the extent of her injuries.
She said: “The flare hit my head and fell down my top, at first I didn’t realise what had happened until people shouted.
“It looks like someone let a firework off on my chest… I didn’t realise what happened then people started patting me.
“My shirt was in flames and a man ripped it off. People were shouting ‘She’s on fire.’ ”
She added: “I’m scared I’m going to be scarred for life.”
In a statement, the venue said it was “extremely sorry” to hear about the incident, which is being investigated by South Yorkshire Police.
Fly DSA Arena’s Dominic Stokes said: “The irresponsible behaviour of the concert goer who threw the flare along with any other people within their party who were aware of the possibility of their actions cannot be condoned and they should be held accountable for their actions.”

OHMYGOSSIP — McFly had therapy to resolve their issues has a band.
The ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’ hitmakers reunited on Wednesday night (20.11.19) for a huge sold out show at London’s O2 Arena, and Danny Jones admitted he and his band mates – Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd – needed to repair their relationships with each other before getting back on stage.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “There’s a fresh energy. It’s rejuvenated everything and I feel like there’s a new excitement around it.
“It’s not stale. It’s like we started again. Once you lose that energy you can never get it back.”
The show sold out in minutes when the ‘All About You’ group announced their comeback in September, and McFly are now looking forward to working on their sixth album together with studio time booked for January.
Danny said: “We all wanted to be in the band. It’s not that we didn’t care about anything else, it’s just we weren’t thinking like that.
“We weren’t thinking, ‘Oh we’ve got to get back together before fans don’t care about us’. We knew we were happy, the four of us playing music together.
“The reaction and the hysteria it has caused again is just an added bonus. It’s blown us away. It’s made us more hungry to give you (the fans) the best album we can in January.”
The ‘Shine a Light’ group will be back on the road across the UK next year, and drummer Harry previously admitted “jealousy” almost tore them apart.
He explained: “There was a bit of jealousy creeping in, I think with people doing their own thing, like, ‘What’s he doing? Why’s he doing that? Why aren’t we talking about McFly?’
“I think there’s been moments if I’m honest where each of us have done things that we’ve all found really difficult.
“I know I did a show with Tom, and Dougie and Danny came to watch, and they were like, ‘That sucks that you two are doing that.’ And then I went to watch Danny’s show and I was like, ‘I’m kind of happy for you but that sucks.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Cranberries say Dolores O’Riordan “would be delighted” by the band’s Grammy Awards nomination.
The ‘Zombie’ hitmakers are on the shortlist for the first time in their 30-year career – their final record ‘In The End’ has been nominated for best rock album – but the recognition is bittersweet almost two years after their singer tragically passed away.
Drummer Fergal Lawler said in a statement: “We are extremely surprised and honoured to receive this Grammy nomination. We’re sure Dolores would be delighted.”
The group released what will be their last album earlier this year, and the collection features vocals recorded by Dolores before her tragic death in January 2018 aged 46.
The remaining lineup – completed by brothers Noel and Mike Hogan – finished work on the LP with the support of her family.
Guitarist Noel added: “We wanted to finish this album for our dear friend and band mate Dolores.
“It’s a tribute to her, the band and our fans for the past thirty years. Being honoured with this Grammy nomination has made this whole process even more special.”
And the late singer’s mother Eileen has also released a statement as she says her late daughter would have been delighted with the recognition, although she admitted the news was “bittersweet”.
She said: “Dolores would be so happy with this, she put her heart and soul into her songs and music.
For us as her family it’s kind of bittersweet, we’re immensely proud yet saddened that she isn’t here to witness and enjoy this, although I feel that she is in spirit.”
The Grammy Awards – hosted by Alicia Keys – will take place on January 26, with The Cranberries nominated for best rock album alongside Bring Me The Horizon (‘amo’), Cage The Elephant (‘Social Cues’), Rival Sons (‘Feral Roots’) and I Prevail (‘Trauma’).

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Grohl doesn’t think Foo Fighters have ever been “cool”.
The ‘Pretender’ hitmaker insisted the band are “totally dad rock” but he likes their image and is content not to be seen as edgy.
When it was suggested the group were a cool band on podcast ‘Good for You’, Dave told host Whitney Cummings: “You know the whole dad rock thing? We’re totally dad rock.
“First of all, we are all dads, and you’re right, we’re a rock band… Look, I’m 50 years old, I have f***ing grey hair… But you know, the thing is, I have never considered our band cool, and I like that.”
Dave explained how the group’s 1999 hit ‘Learn to Fly’ was a deliberate attempt at an “AM Gold” – a 35-volume series of 1960s and 70s soft rock – track rather than the nu-metal that was popular at the time.
And the frontman believes the key to the ‘White Limo’ group’s longevity has been because they have “disconnected” from what is popular in order to simply make the music they want to play.
He added: “We’ve just never been hip or cool; we just really haven’t. I think that the reason why we’re still here is because we do kind of disconnect ourselves from the popular stuff that’s going on, but also because, what the f**k do we care? I just want to f***ing play music.”
Meanwhile, Dave recently teased the group’s next album, their 10th studio effort, will be “f***ing weird”.
Asked how it’ll differ from 2017’s ‘Concrete and Gold’, he replied: “You’ll hear. It’s f***ing weird.”
Drummer Taylor Hawkins recently teased the group have plans to celebrate their 25th anniversary next year.
Asked about their plans, the 47-year-old sticksman said: “Well, it’s very possible.
“There’s a lot of talk.
“And I think Dave is already mapping out what he wants the next record to be, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s something coming down the pipe.
“I can’t 100 per cent spell it out for you for sure, because I’m always the last to know and I don’t want to give it away.
“But I would imagine there will be something made of the 25th year of the Foo Fighters, for sure. You know us, we never stop.”
