Elon Musk doesn’t approve of Grimes’ elf ears wish

OHMYGOSSIP — Elon Musk does not approve of Grimes’ wish for elf ears.
The 34-year-old musician – who has two children with the 51-year-old business mogul -revealed that she had made an appointment with “a great plastic surgeon” two years ago because she thought she “might want to change things up by my mid 30s”.
She tweeted: “2 years ago I made an appt with a great plastic surgeon, thought I might want to change things up by my mid 30s, but then I forgot and never thought about what I should do. Any face mods y’all think would look good on me? (Elf ears isn’t an option, that’s a separate quest).
“Ps sorry if weird 2 discuss this openly, just seems unhealthy how every1 in media hides body mods, then ppl feel self conscious. Im also less interested in conventional beauty (I will keep my nose) – but moreso is there anything else that wud look sick? It’s dr kao
“Also does anyone know anyone great/ safe/ reliable ppl who could do vampire teeth caps on me in Austin or la?
“Also, any reputable elf ear modifiers in either of these cities? (Still debating this surgery cuz cartilage doesn’t heal so it requires permanent stitches)
“Also, has anyone done elf ear mods with a good outcome? Im scared about ear cartilage having a hard time healing. Especially as a musician this surgery seems risky but I’ve wanted it my whole life. Curious about peoples experiences!”
However, Elon replied: “The downside of elf ear surgery probably outweighs the upside.”
Grimes and Elon have had an on/off relationship since first connecting on Twitter in 2018.
She tweeted earlier this year: “Me and E have broken up *again*…, but he’s my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now.”

Sterling K Brown growing out his hair while he still can

OHMYGOSSIP — Sterling K Brown has decided to grow out his hair while he can.
The 46-year-old actor explained that many of his peers are dealing with receding hairlines and while he still has a full head of hair, he has decided to have a little fun with it.
Speaking on the ‘TODAY’ show, he said: “You know what it is? I looked around and was like, ‘I’m 46 years old’ and I was like ‘Not everybody can still do it!’ Like, [for] some folks, [the] hairline starts to retreat, it moves back a little bit. So I still got it all so I’m going to play with it a little bit while I can.”
However, the ‘This Is Us’ actor also revealed that his wife Ryan Michelle Bathé, is still getting used to his new look.
He said: “She likes the hair. Now, what she’s confused about [and] concerned about is any time I try to do something off the beaten path. I’ve corn-rowed it before — that’s part of my African American past. But the idea of me doing something that is not as conservative as what she’s been accustomed to for the past several years gives her pause.”
But, their sons Amaré and Andrew “love” their dad’s new look.
Brown recently insisted he isn’t precious about his hair and will “just go as far as I can until somebody tells me I gotta cut it off for my next job”.

Kid Cudi happy that he got to talk to Virgil Abloh before he died

OHMYGOSSIP — Kid Cudi is happy that he got to tell Virgil Abloh how much he meant to him before he died.
The 38-year-old rapper had been close friends with the fashion designer for years before his death in November 2021 following a secret battle with the cancer cardiac angiosarcoma and Kid explained that while he is still grieving, he is happy that he managed to speak Virgil, 41, the day before he died.
He told Esquire: “I’m happy I had contact with him, that it wasn’t months since I’d talked to him, and then this happened. Then maybe I’d be destroyed. Over the months, I found peace with it because I got a chance to tell Virgil how I felt about him, and he knew. It gets hard sometimes. I think about him a lot. I get emotional. But what pushes me through that is knowing.”
One of Cudi and Abloh’s final collaborations was ‘Entergalactic’, an upcoming adult animated music streaming television series, which was co-created by Cudi and features some of the characters wearing outfits designed by Abloh for his label Off-White.
Meanwhile, Cudi also revealed that he likes to dress up and look good for himself and not for other people.
He said: “Ain’t nobody about to see me. I ain’t got s*** to do for the day, but I’m still dripping. I actually can say, at 38, that I love myself. And I couldn’t have said that six years ago. I can say that with confidence now and truly believe it, and it shows.”

Cardi B’s hair secret? Vegetable water

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B has revealed the secret to her luscious locks is using “vegetable water”.
The ‘WAP’ hitmaker asked fans in a TikTok video this week to guess which vegetable she uses to make her tresses shine.
She captioned the clip: “I beem using secret vegetable water on my hair….can you guess which vegetable is it? …heres a clue,I did a tutorial on it about 6 years ago (sic)”
The 29-year-old rap megastar previously revealed she also does regular hair masks and drinks alkaline water to boost hair growth.
The raven-haired beauty admitted she feared her hair would fall out after giving birth to her son.
The Grammy winner – who has Kulture, four, and a baby boy who was born last September – told her Instagram followers: “So I’ve been so consistent with my hair mask routine and drinking alkaline water, and look how much my hair has grown! I was so scared of my hair falling out after my son’s birth because I’d been growing it for years now, so I made sure to keep up with it and I actually gain hair (sic)”
She also uses other cooking ingredients from her pantry, including mayonnaise and olive oil.
In a video on her Instagram Story from 2020, Cardi could be seen applying a homemade mask to baby Kulture’s curls, as she revealed she also uses the mixture to keep her own hair “really hydrated”.
She said: “This is a hair mask that I am doing for Kulture. I just finished putting argan oil, and I’m gonna put mayonnaise, castor oil, and olive oil. I know it’s a lot of oil, but my baby’s hair needs to be really hydrated like mine.”
She added bananas and eggs to the mask, which are common in DIY hair masks as they contain nourishing properties.
She said: “This treatment is really good for curl patterns. It’s just a good hair mask to help your hair grow. All the good things you put in your body, you put in your hair.”
And Cardi later showed off the “end results” of the homemade mixture, as she praised the concoction for helping aid hair growth.
She wrote: “The end results of all that s**t I put on my hair earlier. Treat your hair ladies. It helps with hair growth A LOT. (sic)”

The lady is a vamp! Heidi Klum jokes she sucks younger husband’s blood to maintain youthful looks

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum has quipped that the secret to her youthful appearance is “sucking” her husband’s “young blood”.
The 49-year-old German supermodel – who has children Leni, 18, Henry, 16, Johan, 15, and Lou, 12, with ex-husband Seal – was asked for her anti-ageing tips and joked that drinking her 32-year-old musician spouse Tom Kaulitz’ claret is the reason behind her ageless complexion.
She laughed: “I suck his young blood, is what I’m doing. Like a vampire.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel insisted life is too short to worry about sticking to strict beauty regimens – but said applying sun protection is a must.
She told E!’s ‘Daily Pop’: “I feel like we’re never gonna be as young as we are right now, so we might as well live right now.
“I love to live right now, and for me, that is sun and having fun and, you know, just wear sunscreen.”
Meanwhile, Heidi recently shared the bizarre fact that one of her legs is worth more than the other.
One of the blonde bombshell’s clients took out a whopping $2 million insurance policy on her limbs, but suggested a childhood accident had reduced the value of one of her pins.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ earlier this year, she said: “One was more expensive than the other one. It’s weird the things that some people do…
“When I was young I fell into a glass and I have a big scar. Obviously I put so much spray tan on right now you can’t see it.

‘It’s really irritating’: Madonna’s son David Banda wears her clothes ‘better’ than her

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna says her son David Banda looks better than her in his mother’s clothes.
The Queen of Pop, 63, confessed that it’s “really irritating” that her 16-year-old son – whom she has with ex-husband Guy Ritchie – can pull off any outfit, even items from her wardrobe.
She said: “He can put on any outfit and look swag and you know what, It’s really irritating. He wears my clothes and looks better in them. He can even wear a dress and look butch.”
The ‘Beautiful Stranger’ hitmaker – who also has Rocco, 22, with movie director Guy, and daughter Lourdes, 25, with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, along with Mercy James, 16, and nine-year-old twins Stella and Estere, who she adopted from Malawi – also tipped her son to become as big a music star as her one day.
During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, she said: “He’s going to end up being one of your guests.
“He’s got ‘it.’ He’s got magic. He’s funny, he’s charming, he’s athletic, he’s a good-looking dude.”
The ‘Vogue’ hitmaker commenting on her son’s dashing looks comes after the pair turned heads at the WBA World Lightweight Championship in New York in May, when David rocked a red-and-white dress the new Gucci x Adidas collection.
Speaking previously about motherhood, Madonna said: “[Having children has] reminded me how precious time is, and how each child requires attention and vigilance and guidance in a different way.
“Really, you have to be ready for anything. They teach you to stop being obsessed with yourself, ’cause they’re always there to throw a wrench into the works… self-obsession is not allowed with children.
“The more kids that you have, the better you get at being a parent… yeah, definitely.”

Stella McCartney backs £164m eco-fund to help production of sustainable fashion

OHMYGOSSIP — Stella McCartney is backing a £164 million eco-fund to help the production of sustainable fashion.
The 50-year-old designer and environmental activist partnered with venture capital firm Collaborative Fund to launch the new Collab SOS, which will “invest in sustainable solutions and founders for better business and a cleaner future.”
It is part of committed vegetarian Stella’s hope she can help reduce the impact the fashion industry has on the planet.
She said on social media to mark the launch: “I am so proud to announce the launch of SOS Fund in partnership with @CollabFund.
“This incredible new $200M fund invests in sustainable solutions and founders for better business, a cleaner future, and a brighter, more hopeful world to live in.
“I have been part of SOS since day one and we have already invested in pioneering and innovating companies, including @BoltThreads – who create the @Mylo_Unleather used in my #Frayme Mylo™️, the world’s first-ever mycelium luxury bag.
“Join us: sos.fund.”
The fund will invest in companies working to develop more sustainable materials, ingredients, energy and supply chains.
Investments include mushroom-based leather alternative manufacturer, Bolt Threads, and AligKnit, a company making yarn from kelp.
The move comes amid growing investment interest in materials and technologies that could reduce the fashion industry’s environmental impact.
It follows Stella collaborating with Adidas on a collection of maternity sports clothes designed to adapt to women’s bodies “through each stage of motherhood”.
Stella, who also recently worked with Adidas on a leopard-print football kit for English club Arsenal’s women’s team, believes that the collection will enable mothers to express themselves better through clothing, especially when compared with other sportswear on the maternity clothing market.
She said: “Too often, maternity performance wear is muted and pared back and we’re so proud to be introducing our first ever collection that reimagines pregnancy workout style.
“Each piece is designed for comfort first, but with technical details and bold colours that allow new and expectant mothers to express themselves.”

Serena Williams claims French Open got ‘upset’ over 2018 black catsuit she wore

OHMYGOSSIP — Serena Williams has recalled the French Open got “upset” over the black catsuit she wore at the tournament in 2018.
The tennis icon, who just announced her intentions to retire from the racket sport, has recalled her fashion controversies on the court and alleged that the outfit didn’t go down too well with bosses of the major tournament.
Taking part in Vogue’s ‘Life in Look’s series, she said of the catsuit: “The French Open was kind of upset about it.”
Elsewhere, in the video for the fashion bible, the sporting legend marvelled over her 1992 blue-and-white tennis dress her mother bought her.
The purchase was so special to her as her mom, Oracene Price, typically sewed Serena’s outfits herself, and she’d love to revisit the look.
Serena said: “I should make this look again.”
A few years later, Serena and her sister, Venus, appeared in a 1998 issue of Vogue.
The siblings wore black-and-white gowns designed by Carolina Herrera and were photographed by Annie Leibovitz.
Serena said about the shoot: “We were really young. We still had our beads and we still had our youth.”
Another tennis outfit standout was a 2004 US Open look that featured a jean skirt and a calf-high sneaker-boot hybrid.
Serena revealed the look was slightly inspired by jean shorts André Agassi donned not too long before.
She said: “I remember telling Nike if I’m switching to you guys, from Puma, I want more pizazz.
“I said, ‘I love what André Agassi wore when he wore the jean shorts, I want to wear a jean skirt.’”
Serena has also made a name for herself on the red carpet.
She famously paraded a 2019 Met Gala outfit that saw her pair Nike x Virgil Abloh tennis shoes with a kaleidoscopic Versace gown.
The move came on the back of advice from Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who warned Serena about how much standing co-hosts of the event have to do.

Chloe Kelly had no idea how ‘big’ her Euros sports bra moment would go

OHMYGOSSIP — Lioness Chloe Kelly didn’t anticipate her “big” sports bra moment at the Women’s Euro 2022 final.
The 24-year-old England player took off her top to celebrate scoring the Lionesses’ winning goal against Germany in the UEFA Women’s Euro final at Wembley Stadium last month.
And she has since done fashion shoots and been dressed in Stella McCartney and Nike – with sales of sports bras going through the roof.
She told Grazia: “I don’t think it’s sunk in yet. I’m on top of the world, but honestly, I’m still processing how much has changed for us and for women’s football. It’s so great to see how we’ve inspired the nation.”
Of the “wild” bra moment, she said: “It was just a celebration that I did in the moment.
“I didn’t even think about it, and I didn’t think how big it would go, and how big it’s gone. It was just a moment and I wanted to celebrate as wild as possible.”
Chloe tore off her number 18 shirt to reveal her Nike sports bra underneath as she spun her England shirt overhead, in an apparent nod to USA player Brandi Chastain who whipped off her shirt after scoring the winning penalty in the 1999 Women’s World Cup final against China.
Since the final whistle, searches for ‘football sports bra’ have skyrocketed to over 1,590%.
It has also emerged experts helped the Lionesses roar to Euro 2022 victory by giving them personalised bra “prescriptions”.
The detailed instructions were drawn up after one-on-one assessment sessions with Chloe and her teammates to give them the most comforting fits for match play and ensure they all got maximum support for their chest sizes.
Professor Joanna Wakefield-Scurr from the University of Portsmouth, who led the project, suggested it helped the team’s final 2–1 victory over Germany, stating: “Evidence suggests sports bras have performance benefits, comfort benefits and health benefits – so I would say they’re just as important for exercising females as trainers.
“We looked at their bra needs, and any issues they’d been experiencing with sports bras, and then we prescribed for them – including the sports bra that we saw Chloe displaying to everybody.
“They were off-the-shelf bras, but we found the players really appreciated information on how to fit them, what styles would work for them best.
“There are some really good products out there that can work for elite athletes, but it’s about helping them navigate through the marketplace.”
Dr Pippa Bennett, acting director of Medical Services at the English Institute of Sport and FA medical lead for the Women’s Professional Game, said: “While the EIS has not worked directly with the Lionesses, it is great to see that the FA has – like the EIS – prioritised work on female athlete health, including bra fitting.”

Bella Hadid no longer uses alcohol to calm her nerves

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid has stopped using alcohol to calm her nerves.
The 25-year-old supermodel co-founded the non-alcoholic beverage brand Kin Euphorics with Jen Batchelor, and while promoting their new drink Bloom, which is a booze-free take on rosé, Bella admitted she no longer turns to alcohol when she is feeling “low energy” or a wave of anxiety coming on.
Instead, she has some Bloom.
Bella told InStyle: “Morning until night! It helps calm my heartbeat, relax my thoughts, and allows me to be present in the moment. The difference with what we’ve made with Bloom, compared to Spritz or Lightwave, is that it is not an ‘upper’ or a ‘sleeper.’ It’s an everyday drink that really helps with socialising and calming that anxious energy that comes over us sometimes.”
Bella has Lyme disease – which causes brain fog – and has massively “scaled back” her alcohol use in recent years.
She said: “Over the years, I’ve always found myself reverting to alcohol when I feel low energy, or my anxieties start to come up. I’ve really scaled back my alcohol consumption this year and have made brain care my ultimate priority.
“Bloom is really interesting, because it really does give you that hit of rosé, as well as adaptogens to settle your nerves and make it that much easier to say no to an extra drink.”

Christie Brinkley reveals sun damage caused by beach modelling shoots

OHMYGOSSIP — Christie Brinkley has revealed the secret to her glowing complexion is the SBLA Beauty Facial Instant Sculpting Wand.
The 68-year-old model took to Instagram to share a video of herself without any makeup on in just a towel over the weekend.
In the clip, she admits: “I don’t know how they talked me into doing this, but here I am, without any of the magic.”
Christie then proceeded to swirl the wind and serum over her face.
The blonde beauty also admitted that years of modelling on the beach had left her with sun-damaged skin.
She said: “As you can see, I have a lot of sun damage.
“I love the great outdoors, I grew up as a surfer girl in Malibu.”
She went on: “From there, I became a model and I was on every other beach in the world, posing in bathing suits, with the instructions of ‘go get a tan.'”
In the caption, she wrote: “My Morning Beauty Routine straight out of the shower pre-makeup magic… but these wands do have some magic of their own!”
Earlier this year, Christie said she thinks her makeup tips are “pretty good” for women over the age of 50.
In completing her contouring , Christine – who spent 25 years as the face of cosmetics brand CoverGirl – explained to her followers that using a beauty blender is key to applying the finishing touches to her make-up routine.
She said: “A beauty blender…everybody probably knows this by now but you do not want your makeup to suddenly end right here. Wet your beauty blender… I like to do it with warm water. I put two different colour foundations on my hand, I put the lighter one under my eye, I put the warmer one under the cheek and then I just use a little bit of whatever is left and apply it down the neck, down the décolletage, and over the forehead.”

Miranda Kerr walks barefoot on the grass to help with jet lag

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr walks “barefoot on the grass” to help her “reconnect” after a long flight.
The 39-year-old Australian model – who has Flynn, 11, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom and Hart, four, and two-year-old Myles with spouse Evan Spiegel – has revealed the way she copes with jet lag is to take the time to “rebalance” herself.
Speaking to PORTER, Miranda said: “I like to go for a walk outside when I arrive and, if possible, go barefoot on the grass to reconnect, ground myself and have a bit of time to rebalance. Melatonin is also great to help get you in the time zone.”
Victoria Beckham swears by magnesium, herbal tea, and sticking to an exercise routine no matter how tired you are.
The 48-year-old fashion designer told the publication: “Jet lag is really difficult. I try not to use any sleep medication – instead, I’ll take magnesium and have a herbal tea and try to go to sleep, but it’s easier said than done. If you are a working mum, you have to get up and power through. And I always do my workout – I never skip it, even when I feel incredibly tired, because it gives you more energy and gets you back into your routine. I don’t have the luxury of napping in the day, so I land and get straight into the time zone.”
Meanwhile, Miranda recently revealed she travels light when she goes on holiday with her family and has learned to mix and match a limited number of pieces to create “endless” outfits.
She said: “Start with easy crochet cover-ups in black or white. They’re so easy to pack and never wrinkle. Then throw in denim shorts and mix and match any of your swimsuits to create endless outfits. Bring a simple white cotton shirt and a great pair of flats, and you’re set.”
When it comes to shoes, Miranda opts to pack comfy Nike sneakers and neutral sandals and heels.
She added: “I like to mix high and low..”
The Kora Organics founder urged people to slow down and cherish their vacation time for the sake of their mental health.
She said: “As a mother of three boys, life goes by so quickly. Embrace your time together while you can because life gets busy. I think it’s important for our children to see how important work ethic is — but it’s equally important for them to see how much we value quality time as a family.”

Beyoncé sparks million dollar sales boost for vegan handbag range by calling Birkins ‘s***’s in storage’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyoncé has sparked a million dollar sales boost for a vegan handbag range by calling Birkins “s***’s in storage”.
The 40-year-old singer tells on her new track ‘Summer Renaissance’ – the final song on her first major album in six years – how she appears to have turned her back on the high-end Hermes accessory.
She tells fans: “This Telfar bag imported… Birkins? Them s***’s in storage.”
Sales of Telfars, which carry a signature T logo and were started by designer Telfar Clemens while he was still at university in 2005, have since soared.
The Telfar website currently lists all of its already popular shopping bags, which sell from $150 (£125) to $257 (£212) depending on size, as sold out or yet to be released.
The colourful faux-leather bags were inspired by Bloomingdales’ classic shopping bags and have a huge following on TikTok, with Oprah Winfrey and Bella Hadid among its famous fans.
The second-hand market in the bags is also booming.
Vogue Business reported that searches for Telfar on US resale site The RealReal leapt by 85 per cent on the day ‘Renaissance’ was released.
Beyoncé ‘s new album last month debuted in the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Since her ‘Lemonade’ record, the singer has also worked on albums including 2018’s ‘Everything is Love’ with husband Jay-Z, 2019’s ‘Homecoming: The Live Album’ and ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ soundtrack.
