Lily James stars in short film The Tale of Thomas Burberry

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily James has been cast in the short film ‘The Tale of Thomas Burberry’.
The 27-year-old actress – who was announced as the face of the luxury brand’s new fragrance My Burberry earlier this year – stars in the three-minute video, which was unveiled on Tuesday (01.11.16), to celebrate the life of the company founder Thomas Burberry and the fashion houses 160th anniversary.
Speaking to Vogue.co.uk about the Christmas campaign, Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive officer, Christopher Bailey, said: “This Christmas, as we celebrate our 160th anniversary we wanted to tell the story of Thomas Burberry – pioneer, inventor, innovator, and the man behind the iconic trench coat – in our own words.”
In the brief clip Lily plays the role of pilot and love interest Betty Dawson alongside Sienna Miller, who is the fictional partner and mother to Thomas’ children, whilst Domhnall Gleeson has been cast as the late creative mastermind, who died in 1926.
Dominic West also stars in the production as the Polar explorer and a patron of the label Ernest Shackleton who relies on Thomas to design protective clothing for his 1914 expedition to the Antarctic.
Meanwhile, Asif Kapadia is part of the creative team directing the production, which was penned by Matt Charman.
Speaking about the casting, the 45-year-old fashion designer said: “The film we have made is a brief glimpse inspired by his full and extraordinary life, which threaded its way through the history of the twentieth century in all its tumultuous highs and lows.
“To do justice to this story, we turned to a team of truly great twenty- first century British talent: Asif Kapadia, a director whose work I admire enormously, and a cast of our brightest and our best actors: Domhnall Gleeson, Sienna Miller, Dominic West and Lily James. We feel very proud to be sharing The Tale of Thomas Burberry this Christmas – his spirit and his vision are still at the heart of everything we do at Burberry today.”

Poppy Delevingne designs Christmas jumper for Save the Children's new campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Poppy Delevingne has designed her own Christmas jumper for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day campaign.
The 30-year-old model has joined forces with fashion designer Molly Gunn, who founded her brand Selfish Mother in 2013, to design a slogan sweater under Molly’s label with ‘Cracker’ emblazoned across the front to help support the charity organisation’s upcoming campaign, which are available to purchase online at The FMLY Store.
And the blonde beauty has revealed she has loved working with the creative mastermind on the latest project, and found the designing process “great fun”.
She said: “Save the Children is a truly inspiring organisation … But more needs to be done. And this is why I am working with Save the Children and proud to be supporting their Christmas Jumper Day campaign.
“It’s been great fun designing a slogan and working with Molly. I would encourage everyone to buy my ‘CRACKER’ jumper, because who doesn’t want to look like a cracker? But also check out the other jumper delights in the collection. Not only can you look festive, but also feel festive too this Christmas Jumper Day, knowing that all your support is going towards saving children’s lives, not just in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but all over the world.”
Fellow models Erin O’Connor, 38, and David Gandy, 36, have also collaborated with Molly to create their own winter garment.
The dark-haired catwalk icon said: “I’ve enjoyed every minute of working with Selfish Mother for this campaign and have loved designing my own festive ‘OFF DUTY ELF’ slogan. The sweaters really are the perfect way to add some Christmas fun into your wardrobe. It is a great feeling to know that we are making a difference and improving children’s lives around the world and by purchasing a jumper from the collection you can too.”
David Gandy added: “I feel honoured that Save the Children has asked me to join this fantastic line up to create my very own Christmas jumper with Molly Gunn. And Molly has revealed she “feels good” knowing her work can help children in developing countries.

Carrie Underwood only wears 'minis' because she's too short

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood only wears “minis” because she’s too short.
The 33-year-old singer has revealed she prefers to adorn short-length dresses and skirts for start studded events because she is conscious of her height and feels her body is “lost” when she wears long gowns.
Speaking to PEOPLE about her wardrobe choices, the blonde beauty said: “I wear minis because I’m short.
“Sometimes I try dresses that are a little bit longer or even long dresses and I get lost in them because I’m five foot three. It just seems like above the knee works better for my height.”
Carrie, who is set to host this year’s Country Music Association Awards alongside Brad Paisley, which will take place on Wednesday (02.11.16), has revealed she works out “harder” prior to attending an awards ceremony.
She explained: “I definitely work out harder leading up to any awards show. I just want to feel my best and when I look back at pictures. I just want to be like, ‘Alright, I worked hard for that.’ So I just kind of amp it up, make sure if I have the time I use it wisely.
“I lean up my eating especially right before the show. And my workout routine becomes a little more all over full body leading up to [the show]. I do run more and try to sweat more just to burn fat.
“I just try to be strong. My legs are scarred from sports and from injuries, so I view them as being strong.”
And the ‘Good Girl’ hitmaker has admitted she will undertake a number of costume changes throughout tomorrow’s event to see her celebrate the evolution of country style over the decades.
And the star has teased her outfits on social media by posting images of her embellished garments.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is crowned Businesswoman of the Year

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been crowned Businesswoman of the Year.
The 29-year-old supermodel – who launched her lingerie line with Marks and Spencer called Rosie for Autograph in 2012 and has since expanded her capsule to include a beauty range – was awarded the accolade during at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, which took place at London’s Claridges Hotel on Monday (31.10.16).
On receiving the gong, the blonde beauty – who is also the brand ambassador for UGG Australia and is the face of Paige Denim – said: “This awards means so much as it represents so many of my dreams coming true.”
The catwalk icon, who has graced the runway for Burberry, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta and Victoria’s Secret, has taken to social media to show off her award.
Alongside a picture of her sporting a patterned one-shoulder Saint Laurent top whilst clasping on to her trophy, the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star wrote: “Thank you @bazaaruk for naming me your Businesswoman of the Year! #BazaarAwards (sic).”
The star-studded bash also saw Simone Rocha honoured as the Designer of the year, whilst Donatella Versace was named Fashion Icon.
And the 61-year-old fashion designer, who is the chief designer of the Italian luxury brand Versus Versace, has admitted she is “so proud” to receive the accolade.
Alongside a photo of her on the red carpet at last night’s event, which was shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “What a night! Harper’s Bazaar Fashion Icon 2016! Thank you all. I am so proud.#BazaarAwards (sic).”

The Weeknd is the new face of HM

OHMYGOSSIP — The Weeknd has been confirmed as the new face of H&M.
The 26-year-old singer songwriter – whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – is set to star in the retail store’s upcoming H&M Spring Icons Selected by The Weeknd campaign, which will launch on March 2 next year.
The fashion house teased the news with a string of enlarged segments of one image from the shoot, which were posted on H&M’s Instagram account on Tuesday (01.11.16).
The posts read: “Follow us today as we exclusively reveal the star of our upcoming#HMSpringIcons men’s campaign…
“Can you guess who it is?#HMSpringIcons

And the ‘Starboy’ hitmaker – who has his own clothing label titled XO – also took to social media to announce the news of his latest fashion venture with the popular high street brand.
Alongside an image of him from the commercial, The Weeknd – who is currently dating supermodel Bella Hadid – captioned the post: “excited to announce that I’m starring in the @HM and XO campaign launching March 2017#HMSPRINGICONS (sic).”
And the musician is set for a busy year ahead as he has recently announced his UK tour dates for 2017.
The ‘Can Feel My Face’ hitmaker will bring his frantic live show to London’s The O2 on March 7 and March 8, and will wrap up the small run of shows at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, north England, on March 14.

Kylie Jenner's PUMA Fierce trainers hit Footlocker today

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner’s PUMA Fierce KRM trainers have exclusively launched in Footlocker EU.
The 19-year-old ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star – who first joined forces with the sportswear giant in February this year – has teamed up with the fashion house on a second capsule for the brand, which has finally hit the retail store on Monday (31.10.16).
The footwear design is a lightweight construction with no laces, a supportive high collar, and full length flex groove, which makes the product suitable for rigorous training.
The garment is available in four autumnal shades, including black, a deep red shade called Winetasting, a pure white colour and an olive green, which are priced at £90.
The teen entrepreneur teased fans she was working on a new project for weeks, by posting images of her sporting PUMA’s athleisurewear and the new design on her social media account.
Alongside a picture from the campaign on her, which sees the beauty mogul sitting on the floor wearing a PUMA crop top and figure hugging leggings, as well as the new trainers on her Instagram account, she wrote: “#ForeverFierce @puma (sic).”
Whilst a picture of her leaning up against a mirror in a dimly lit room, she captioned: “@puma the new#ForeverFierce drop soon (sic).”
However, Kylie’s half-brother-in-law Kanye West was “hurt” Kylie signed a contract with PUMA because his Adidas Yeezy collection is in direct competition with Puma.
Speaking previously about the betrayal, Kylie’s half sister Kim Kardashian West said: “Kanye had Kylie walk in his first two Yeezy shows. He really believed in her as a part of his brand.
“She was the model that he wanted over everyone. He saw Kylie and was, ‘She has to be my Yeezy model.’ I would have just liked the heads up.”

Yasmin Le Bon launches a new collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Yasmin Le Bon has launched a new fashion collection.
The 52-year-old supermodel has released a limited edition Autumn/Winter 2016 collection for Winser London called Yasmin Le Bon Collection, and the star has revealed the capsule is a “completely selfish” range because it is based on all the garments Yasmin wanted to own.
Speaking about her latest fashion venture, Yasmin – who has previously released a clothing line with Wallis in 2009 – said: “I have designed a capsule collection which is wearable and luxe – pieces that I really want myself. Yes, I know – completely selfish!”
The collection consists of cashmere and merino wool knitwear, Italian silk and English tweed separates, which Yasmin has designed and modelled herself.
The model veteran – who is married to Duran Duran lead singer Simon Le Bon, 58 who have daughters Amber, 27, Saffron, 25 and 22 year old Tallulah together – has previously revealed she has kept hold of garments she owned when she was younger and a different size, although she knows she will “never” wear them again.
Speaking previously, she said: “My entire wardrobe no longer fits me, but maybe it’s time to get some new things. I’m never going to be that size again and I don’t want to be, because I know I wouldn’t feel good; I would be living on the edge again.
“I think you have to be a stone over your prime weight – that’s what keeps your joints happy. You need to be a healthy weight or you pay the price for it later with osteoporosis.”
Although Yasmin is desperate to ditch some of her clothes, her eldest daughter has credited her as her ultimate beauty icon.
Speaking about her style muse, Yasmin said: “Definitely my mum – she is the most beautiful woman.
But she [Yasmin] needs to start ageing because it’s beginning to get really annoying.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Bublé created “three options” before launching his fragrance By Invitation.
The 41-year-old singer, who unveiled his debut perfume earlier this year, has admitted he had a trio of scents to select from, and although he had one favourite out of the selection he brought the product home to get the approval from his wife Lusiana Lopilato to give him “confidence” in the perfume.
Speaking about the cosmetic item, the ‘Home’ hitmaker: “I did a lot of research. I went to the perfumers, to the laboratory.
“We created three options, one of which I loved, then we did the market research with about 3,000 different women.
“Ninety per cent of them chose what I had liked, which gave me confidence. God love me, I’m a man, so it was important to know what a woman thought. I brought it home to my wife and she really liked it and for me that was obviously really important.”
And the dark-haired powerhouse has revealed he trusts his spouse – who have sons Noah, three, and nine month old Elias together – and “respects” her “great sense of style”.
He explained: “And more than that, I have a lot of respect for her sense of style. She’s got a great sense of style. She’s got a great sense of personal style. It’s nice for me. ”
Michael – who married Luisa in 2011 – has revealed he always seeks advice from his partner, and even consults her on his music.
He told HELLO! magazine: “You know, even with my music, I ask her those questions – what song or what do you think about this, or which cover? There are so many questions. She’s my best friend. I ask her opinion.”

The 21-year-old model has taken to social media to post a heartfelt message to the 62-year-old fashion photographer to commemorate his birthday on Sunday (30.10.16), which saw Gigi reveal it has been an “honour” to work with the fashion mogul throughout her career.

Speaking previously in a string of Snapchat videos, the television personality said: “The ingredients in these products are also really really dangerous, which is my biggest concern.
“I feel responsible to give you guys a warning that there are people out there who are trying to steal your money and I just want you guys to have the very best.
“What is this? We really got into the ingredients and they’re so bad for you.
“So someone just tweeted me one of their fake products and they said it has glue in it. Glue in it people.
“I don’t sell to anybody else, the only way to get my products is from my website.

Natalia Vodianova contours her face to make her look 'older'

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalia Vodianova only contours her face for business meetings.
The 34-year-old Russian model has admitted she applies beauty products to enhance her cheekbones and jaw line when she has to attend a formal discussion to make her look “older” and “more mature”.
Speaking to Elle.com about her beauty regime, the blonde beauty – who has starred in fashion campaigns for luxury designer brands including Givenchy, Prada and Calvin Klein – said: “There’s no particular routine. I keep my skin clean and moisturized. A product I swear by is [Guerlain] Super Aqua Serum, so maybe this is my secret.
“It’s also genetics and a healthy lifestyle. I think it’s really about using the right products and looking after your skin. And putting on makeup that doesn’t make your skin look like it’s caked on. My two favorite products are Lingerie De Peau BB Cream, and in the winter I use Météorites Baby Glowfoundation. It smells so good. The pearl powder is what gives it this really incredible glow. The secret to applying my makeup is that I just put it where it’s needed.
“Sometimes I wear just a little pencil and a bit of mascara to make my eyes stand out a little more. And maybe a bit of color on my cheeks. If I’m going to a meeting, I will contour my face to make myself look a little older. I have to look more mature.”

Zayn Malik: 'I've always had a bit of an individual style'

The 23-year-old singer has admitted he has “always” felt he had a great fashion sense ever since he was a child, and he has revealed he used to customise his school uniform and style it in a different way that wouldn’t get him reprimanded.
Speaking about fashion in his upcoming autobiography ‘Zayn’, he said: “I’ve always had a bit of an individual style, even when I was a kid — for real. I hated school uniforms, and all the rules, having to wear a tie and shit. But when I sussed out that there were no rules regarding how we wore our school blazers, I would walk around the place with one arm in a sleeve, the other out, with my jacket dangling over a shoulder.
Although the ‘Pillowtalk’ hitmaker – who is currently dating supermodel Gigi Hadid – has revealed he has always had an eye for fashion, he has revealed he was too “nervous” to take risks with his wardrobe choices.
He explained: “But then being so much in the public eye at a young age, I got a bit nervous to take many risks. I wasn’t so keen to step outside my comfort zone or think outside the box on what I was wearing.”
Meanwhile, Zayn – who has recently joined forces with Donatella Versace on a new collection for Versus Versace called Zayn x Versace – has admitted the turning point for him came after this year’s Met Gala, because it made him take fashion “more seriously”.
He said: “It was a great moment for me when Donatella Versace invited me to attend the Met Gala with Versace. I’d definitely made a conscious decision in my solo career to take fashion more seriously, starting with attending two shows in 2015 with Louis Vuitton and Valentino.
“The Met Gala is a big event in the fashion calendar … The theme of the 2016 Met Gala was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, which gave me the opportunity to design an outfit with Versace that reflects one of my biggest interests, digital animation.
“It was a bit of a risk as it was so out there compared to what I’d worn before, but I decided I didn’t care and the fact that it raised a few eyebrows was all part of the fun for me.”

The 30-year-old singer has revealed if she could keep one garment for the rest of her life it would be her mum Cynthia’s marital gown because she thinks it would be “comfortable” and because of the sentimental value attached to the gown, although she believes she sounds “silly” admitting to it.
Speaking to Radio Disney about her must-have wardrobe item, she said: “If I could have one fashion accessory for the rest of my life, I know it sounds silly, but I think it would be my mom’s wedding dress because it would be comfortable but I would also have the memory of my mom in it, which would be great.”
And the ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker has revealed he favourite part of her daily beauty routine is brushing her teeth, because she loves the reaction she gets from other people when she brushes her teeth with her electronic Disney toothbrush.

And Dee, 46, has thanked Hailey for her “beautiful introduction” at the event.
Alongside a picture of the former model speaking on stage at the fashion bash, whilst Hailey stands in the corner, she wrote: “Thank you @haileybaldwinfor your beautiful introduction! Thank you @fginyc (sic).”
The couple – who met in 2005 and were married two years later – received the accolade for their longstanding commitment and support to non-profit organisations and backing the Global Lyme Alliance, Race to Erase MD and The Fresh Air Fund.
Meanwhile, the star studded event saw Riccardo Tisci awarded the Fashion Group International Superstar Award, Pam Baxter gained the Beauty Award, whilst fashion designers Erdem Moralıoğlu and Tory Burch received the Fashion Star Award at this year’s gala.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner has warned Kylie Cosmetics customers of “dangerous” counterfeit products.
The 19-year-old ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star – who has built up her beauty empire over two years – has revealed she has received complaints from people who thought they were buying her Lip Kits but were being scammed by other websites who have reproduced her products using harmful ingredients.
Speaking in a string of Snapchat videos, the beauty mogul said: “The ingredients in these products are also really really dangerous, which is my biggest concern.
“I feel responsible to give you guys a warning that there are people out there who are trying to steal your money and I just want you guys to have the very best.
“What is this? We really got into the ingredients and they’re so bad for you.
“So someone just tweeted me one of their fake products and they said it has glue in it. Glue in it people.
“I don’t sell to anybody else, the only way to get my products is from my website.
“Make sure you guys check the URL because these other websites are making fake product, it might look exactly like mine but it’s not mine.
“this is getting so out of hand people, please, please, please, don’t trust any other website.”
And the teen entrepreneur has admitted she has added the legitimate link to her cosmetics company on her social media to resolve the problem.
She said: “I put the link to my website on my Instagram bio and I just put it in my twitter bio, so it will be really easy for you guys to locate it.
“So I want to be really really clear, and let you guys know the only place to get my products is Kyliecosmetics.com.
“Also guys make sure you type in your URL and don’t Google it, because I just Googled Kylie Cosmetics and there was an ad with the wrong URL.
Meanwhile, the television personality has revealed she is offering “the first” holiday surprise to her customers with free shipping on Friday (28.10.16).
In a post shared to Kylie Cosmetics Instagram account, it read: “Hey guys! Very excited to reveal to you the first#HolidaySurprise. We are still working on a permanent solution to satisfy your concerns with shipping prices. Starting TOMORROW at 10am pst through the holidays there will be free domestic shipping if you spend over $40 and free international shipping if you spend over $60. #HOLIDAYSURPRISES thanks for your patience. (sic).”

Sarah Jessica Parker will release a new jewellery line next week

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jessica Parker is set to release a jewellery collection.
The 51-year-old actress has collaborated with London-based fine jewellery designer Kat Florence on a new accessories range called The Flawless Diamonds Collection, which is set to be unveiled on November 5.
And the ‘Sex and The City’ star has revealed she accepted the project because jewellery is “very special” to her.
She told Vogue magazine: “It is so personal. As an actor I have to remove all of my jewellery in order to take on the characters I play. I get to a trailer for work every day and I have to take off my jewellery to play a character, to be someone else. To me, jewellery is a very special choice.”
Sarah has revealed the limited collection is not a “typical” jewellery capsule because it is divided into four sections to depict different eras such as The Heritage Chapter to celebrate Art Deco architecture.
She explained: “Kat’s trying to create jewellery that is at a price point that is doable. That is not the typical philosophy [usually associated with] diamond jewellery. She is the opposite of the big diamond industry.”
And Sarah – who has founded her own eponymous footwear line the SJP Collection, fragrance lines including her debut scent Lovely and her recent Little Black Dress capsule called the SJP LBD – will star as the model in the jewellery line’s campaign.
And the star – who has recently launched her third fragrance Stash – insists she isn’t a big shopper despite having a huge collection of outfits and shoes, although she has revealed she is “thoughtful” when she indulges in a bit of retail therapy and questions whether she truly needs the item before buying it.
Speaking previously, she said: “I’m actually not a huge shopper. I mean I have more shoes now because I have a shoe collection, but even that I’m very thoughtful about. What do I really need? What can I borrow? What can I not live without? I’ve never, ever, ever, taken anything.”
