Fearne Cotton is a 'bargain hawk'

OHMYGOSSIP — Fearne Cotton has described herself as a “bargain hawk”.
The 35-year-old television and radio presenter has admitted she is overwhelmed by fashion and the instant she thinks about new trends or garments her “heart swoons with lust”, and although the fashion muse has claimed she isn’t part of the “fashion industry elite” she has still credited herself as a “style binger” always on the look-out for great deals.
Speaking in a blog post on The Huffington Post online, prior to the launch of her 10-part series titled ‘Fearne on Fashion’ for the publication, she said: “Fashion gets me going. It makes my cheeks flush red with excitement, makes my heart swoon with lust and springs the cogs of my imagination whirring with intrigue. I’m a bargain hawk, a style binger, a fashion devourer. I’m not part of the fashion industry elite, nor do I subscribe to exclusively wearing designer clothes. I don’t think there needs to be rules or exclusions for certain people, tastes or budgets. Isn’t that the beauty of fashion? It is pure, expressive freedom.”
The blonde beauty – who has three-year-old son Rex, and 16-month-old daughter Honey with her husband Jesse Wood – has revealed her thrifty ways started when she was a child and would sift through piles of clothes at Wembley market to get her hands on the cheapest top because her budget was “minuscule” whilst her interest was “gargantuan”.
She explained: “My childhood was spent scouring Wembley market for tops for £1 that I could match with my slightly dodgy Spice Girl platform trainers.
“My eyes would widen and my heart rate would quicken at the possibility of spending my small amounts of pocket money on the best bargains waiting to be discovered. Electric blue puffer jackets, wannabe Adidas jogging bottoms, kooky T-shirts with obscure slogans. It was all up for grabs. My budget was minuscule but my lust was gargantuan, which lead to some nifty customising and an eager eye.”
However, Fearne has hinted she doesn’t always stick to her budget these days and will have moments of frivolous spending.
She said: “I often get obsessed with a pair of shoes I’ve seen online and think about them sporadically though the week, until late one night after a frantic day with the kids and work, I succumb to the draw of that certain webpage, and two seconds later I’ve hit buy. The thrill, the excitement … which will only gather momentum as the delivery date draws nearer.”

Lily Collins' skin is like 'painting on paper'

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins’ skin has been likened to “painting on paper”, by make-up artist Fiona Stiles.
The 27-year-old actress – who was nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture at this year’s Golden Globes for her role as Marla Mabrey in ‘Rules Don’t Apply’ – has been credited with delicate skin by the stylist who perfected her make-up at the star studded event on Sunday (08.01.17), and has hinted her face was like a blank canvas, although the cosmetic products had to be adapted so they would be visible on Lily’s pale complexion.
Speaking to PEOPLE about Lily’s aesthetic, Fiona said: “I had thought that light eye would be pretty, but really wanted there to be more to it.
“Lily’s skin is so far it’s like painting on paper. That colour won’t show up on just anyone!”
And beauty mogul has revealed applying dusk pink coloured eyeshadow on Lily was the “highlight” of the entire makeover, because it “modernised” the outfit.
She continued: “The highlight was the eyes because that’s what really modernized the look.
“I used a pale blush coloured lip pencil from Lancôme as a base to create the shape and then swept a pale petal blush colour from Lancôme over it to intensify and brighten the colour.”
The brunette beauty – who is the daughter of musician Phil Collins and his former partner Jill Tavelman – adorned a deep rouge lipstick for the prestigious event, which was selected out of 15 lipsticks.
Speaking about the beauty process, Fiona explained: “I swiped about 15 lipsticks on my arm and then picked six or seven from them.
“I swatched the eye colour on my hand (after I had figured out the combination that would pair with the dress best) and then swatched my favourites next to the eye colour. Then we all looked at the lipstick shades and picked a favourite. We all gravitated to the same shade so we know it was a winner!
Despite the numerous trial and errors, Lily was happy with the final outcome and was easy to work with because she likes to experiment.
Fiona said: “She loved it.
“Lily loves to push the envelope and she loves a look. I feel very lucky to be able to work with someone who is such a beauty, and willing to take chances. It’s just the most delightful combination.”

Olivia Wilde's face turns a 'holy-f**k-magenta' colour when she exercises

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Wilde’s face turns a “holy-f**k-magenta” colour when she exercises.
The 32-year-old actress – who has two-month-old daughter Daisy and two-year-old son Otis with her partner Jason Sudeikis – believes her face turns a shockingly bright shade of pink and she resembles a “tomato with a human torso” when she gets her “a*s kicked” in a work out.
The star took to social media to “document” her change in complexion, which saw her post a picture of her following her fitness session.
She captioned the upload, which she shared to her Instagram account: “Nothing cooler than a conspicuous locker room selfie but I needed to document the exact shade of holy-fuck-magenta my face turns after getting my ass kicked at @tracyandersonmethod. I’m like a tomato with a human torso that is slowly but surely recovering from popping out a ten pound kiwi. (sic).”
And the golden haired beauty – who has been dating the 41-year-old actor since 2011 – has taken to social media to gush about her beau.

Meanwhile, the ‘Vinyl’ star was close to giving birth to her second child in a tunnel as her and Jason were stuck in a traffic jam en route to a Beyoncé concert in November last year, although it turned out to be a false alarm.
Speaking about the moment, Jason recalled: “We came really close. Daisy was born on Tuesday, but on Friday night, [Olivia] and I were going out – date night.
“So, we were in line to get in the Lincoln Tunnel and there was an accident in there. Everything was gummed up, so it was going to take us like an hour to get through the tunnel.
“I don’t know if it was the pressure, if it was the traffic, or the fact that we were going to be late. It was just bad in the back seat of the car. We U-turned and got it out of there. We figured it would be a bad scene to have the baby in a tunnel – and a little redundant!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Evan Rachel Wood promised herself she wouldn’t wear “any dresses” to any award show this year.
The 29-year-old actress adorned an Altuzarra two-piece suit, which she paired with a white blouse with a bow tie up detail, to the 74th Golden Globe Awards, which took place at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Sunday (08.01.17), and the star has revealed she wanted to wear something other than a gown for her sixth appearance at the prestigious ceremony to prove dresses are not a “requirement” for women to wear at star studded events.
Speaking to ET Online about her wardrobe choices, the blonde beauty – who was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Dolores in ‘Westworld’ – said: “I actually decided this year that I wasn’t going to wear any dresses to any of the award shows.
“This is my sixth time to the Golden Globes, and my third nomination. I’ve worn a dress every time, and I just wanted to be a gentle reminder for young women, dresses are great, I’m not protesting them or anything, but they aren’t a requirement.
“If you don’t want to wear a dress, you don’t have to.”

She explained: “Your worth is more than that. So just be yourself. It felt important to do that this year.”
The star has admitted it felt very refreshing for her to adorn something unusual and unlike what other female stars wore on the red carpet, and she even joked her wardrobe choice meant she had no problems with people treading on her clothes.
She quipped: “No one is stepping on my train. It’s an amazing change.”
And Evan has revealed her ensemble took two fittings to perfect, and was inspired by the late actress Marlene Dietrich.
She said: “This took two fittings, I sent a lot of reference photos, Altuzarra designed this with me. Ever since I saw Marlene Dietrich in that suit, I’ve always wanted to do an homage to that.”

Speaking about the decision making process, she said: “I walked through the door and beelined. I tried this one on – tried like seven or eight more and went, ‘No, sorry. First choice.’ I just knew it.

The ‘Love, Rosie’ star, who had her dark tresses pinned up in a neatly coiffed up-do for the star studded ceremony, has revealed everything on her head was “strategically placed”, and she was under strict order not to slouch.
She said: “Everything is very strategically placed up here, so one must hold their back up very straight and not slouch.”
Meanwhile, the star has taken to social media to reveal the contents of her clutch bag and her essential items she took with her.

Blake Lively stars in L'Oréal's new beauty campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Lively stars in L’Oréal’s new beauty campaign.
The 29-year-old actress – who was announced as the spokesperson for the beauty and skincare brand in 2013 – features in L’Oréal’s new True Match foundation commercial for their ‘Your Skin, Your Story’ campaign, and the blonde beauty has admitted the advert has strongly “moved” her because it celebrates every woman’s “similarities and our differences”.
The former ‘Gossip Girl’ star shared a picture of her portrait in black and white on her Instagram account with a quote from her emblazoned across it, which read “We are different shapes and sizes. We are different colours. We are beautiful inside and out. We are kind. We are brave. We are vulnerable. We are flawed. We are perfect. We are worth it …”.
And the blonde beauty – who has daughters James, two, and two-month-old Ines with her husband Ryan Reynolds – captioned the post: “‘Because I’m worth it’ is an iconic belief that resonates with so many, for good reason. Now more than ever that simple phrase is a powerful reminder to us all, as woman are coming together, rising up, and standing for their value. We are worth it. We are different shapes and sizes. We are different colors. We are beautiful inside and out. We are kind. We are brave. We are vulnerable. We are flawed. We are perfect. We are worth it. And we each have a story to tell. Which is why I was so moved by the ‘Your Skin, Your Story’ campaign. It’s a beautiful illustration that we are in this together. And we are listening to one another and celebrating each other for both our similarities, and our differences. Now THAT’S beautiful.” -Me 🙂 #worthsharing #truematch (sic).”
Blake took to social media to share a link of her talking about the product and in the footage the star admitted she likes to give the illusion she is not wearing any make-up when she is, although she has revealed she doesn’t like to don a face full of cosmetic products.
Speaking in the clip, she said: “I am from Southern California. I am English, Irish and Cherokee, so my family is from all over. To look back over my heritage and see where my family has come from is neat.
“I like when I’m wearing to make-up to look like I’m not wearing make-up, I like not wearing much, so this is just something that complements and enhances your natural beauty without adding a mask on top of it. My true match is W3 and I’m worth it.”
