Iris Law used to put on 'little photoshoots' when she was a child

OHMYGOSSIP — Iris Law used to put on mini photoshoots when she was a child.
The 16-year-old model – who recently landed her modelling debut with Burberry Beauty – has admitted she used to dress up in her parents clothes and pretended she was on a fashion shoot with her friends.
The brunette beauty – who is the daughter of actor Jude Law, 44, and his ex-wife Sadie Frost, 51, – said: “I would put on little photoshoots with my friends.”
And the star has admitted she is not afraid of standing in front of the camera because the “social-media generation” she is a part of sees her and her friends regularly snap away.
She explained: “Being part of this social-media generation, my friends are always taking photos of me or themselves, or saying, ‘Can you capture this moment?’ It’s not an awkward thing. Younger models are used to being around photo cameras.”
And Iris has admitted she often asks the styling team for beauty tips and what products they use or recommend.
She said: “I note down the ideas or the products they use.”
However, the star has admitted she never thought she’d be interested in modelling “specifically” when she was growing up despite having a penchant for cosmetics and fashion, and she has revealed her interest is more in the “creative process”.
She told the Sunday Times Style magazine: “[My interest is more] the creative process. I wasn’t specifically thinking about modelling. I like photography, I like fashion, I like make-up.
“[But] we can go anywhere and it’s accepted that we’re not going to dress up. My friend will turn up to an event in trackies because that’s becoming OK.”

Ashley Graham is 'obsessed' with boxing

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham is “obsessed” with boxing.
The 28-year-old model – who is known for modelling plus-sized lingerie for Lane Bryant – has admitted she enjoys working out not solely to lose weight but to feel “healthy”, and the star has revealed working up a sweat with a punch bag is her favourite form of fitness because it gives her the opportunity to “kick a*s” in front of a room filled with people.
Speaking about her exercise regime, the brunette beauty said: “I also like to think of going to the gym as a way to stay strong rather than a way to lose weight. Yes, I model a lot of swimsuits and lingerie, but to me exercising is more about being healthy and feeling good. So I set goals for myself like ‘I’m going to work out three days this week’ instead of ‘I’m going to lose 3 pounds this week.’ Then I let whatever is supposed to jiggle, jiggle, you know?
“Lately I’ve been obsessed with boxing. When I’m sweating and kicking ass in front of 30 other people at the gym, it definitely helps to dress the part.”
And the Nebraska-born star has admitted she enjoys wearing “graphic prints” and believes she can experiment with her wardrobe choices when she works out.
She explained to InStyle.com: “The gym is one of the places where I really like to have fun with graphic prints. I always go for pants that are high-waisted because they look cute with a little cropped top or an oversize t-shirt. Nike has tons of options. And I also love Zella and Lucas Hugh.
“After a workout, cool sunglasses are a must. Right now, I love Le Specs. Or really any sleek aviator with a mirrored lens.”

Jennifer Lopez: 'Having high-quality footwear is not negotiable'

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez believes having “high quality footwear” is “not negotiable”.
The 47-year-old singer – who has recently collaborated with fashion design Giuseppe Zanotti on her footwear collection titled Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez – has admitted as a performer what she wears on her feet is paramount, and she believes the items are more than just an attractive accessory because they impact on her stance and her choreography.
Speaking about the wardrobe staple to PEOPLE, the brunette beauty said: “I have always been a shoe girl. It’s clear that I love gorgeous shoes and boots to make a statement or really complete a look. But it’s so much more than just the appearance of the shoes.
“As a performer, movement is very important to me, and it all begins with your feet.
“Whether I’m dancing and need a specific shape for certain choreography, or when I’m at an event and the height of the shoes completely changes my posture and walk, having high-quality footwear is not negotiable. Shoes go beyond simply accessorizing. They dictate how you carry yourself while wearing them.”
And the ‘Shades of Blue’ actress – who will launch the 16-piece capsule on Monday (23.01.17) – has admitted a woman’s footwear can boost a woman’s confidence.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker added: “They shoes can truly make any woman feel feminine, confident and sexy.”
And the 59-year-old fashion designer has revealed his creations were designed specifically for ladies who want to feel “fabulous” the instant they don a pair of platforms.
He said: “The corset-style heel is an extremely feminine and fashion-forward shoe. When you look at it, you simply say, ‘Wow.’
“My shoes are made for strong women who want to feel fabulous, and Jennifer is the epitome of that. She is an icon and has a very unique style. She is feminine, sexy and extremely beautiful. I love the way she embodies my aesthetic in her own personal way.”

Bobbi Brown is 'really excited' about 'reinventing' a new line

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobbi Brown is “really excited” about “reinventing” a new beauty line.
The 59-year-old American make-up artist – who founded her eponymous beauty brand, which was bought by Estée Lauder in 1995, but announced her departure from the label in December 2016 – has admitted she doesn’t know what products she will invent in the future, but she is eager to come up with new creations and launch a capsule the way she envisions it.
Speaking about her next venture during a Q&A session at Indie Beauty Expo’s Connect Indie event, which took place at The L.A Hotel Downtown, the mogul said: “Again an indie beauty person. I don’t know what products I’m going to come out with. I don’t know what categories I’m going to come out with yet, but I’m really excited about reinventing the way I see a line should be. Clear and concise.”
And the creative mastermind has admitted “nothing” would have changed her mind about leaving the designer cosmetic house and it wasn’t a spur of the moment decision but an action she had contemplated for some time.
Speaking previously about her exit, she said: “I don’t think so. It certainly wasn’t an overnight decision. The fun thing about starting a brand is creativity and the idea of doing something that doesn’t exist. When you get really big, your mind is on different things. It’s, how do you stay big? How big can you be? It was 25 years, we reached the celebration and we reached $1 billion in sales. It was like, ‘OK, maybe it’s time for me to do this again.'”
However, Bobbi has teased she has not completely given up on beauty forever as and has hinted she “still” has ideas she wants to put into action.
She said: “I still have some ideas and some things I want to do.”

Nicole Richie won't advise Sofia

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Richie doesn’t give her sister Sofia style advice.
The 35-year-old beauty is renowned for her fashion sense but she insists her favoured look is very different from her 18-year-old model sibling so they don’t swap clothes or even tips.
She said: “I’m very particular about my clothes. We have different styles.
“I don’t know if I’ve given her any [style advice].”
But one area in which Nicole – who has kids Harlow, nine, and Sparrow, seven, with husband Joel Madden – could offer advice is on having healthy hair.
After years of dying her locks various different colours, the former ‘Simple Life’ star is now adopting a minimal approach and “doing nothing” with her tresses in order to get them back into good condition.
She told People magazine: “Right now, I’m doing nothing [with my hair].
“I’m doing leave in conditioner, coconut oil and [that’s it].
“I stopped straightening it–I was straightening it for a long time and I stopped–and basically stopped colouring it and just left it alone.”
And now she’s getting older, Nicole doesn’t want to let her hair grow too long and has given her locks a limit.
She said: “I’m not trying to get any longer than my shoulders. I’m 35, let’s be honest, so I don’t really have that far to go.”
If Nicole does decide to give Sofia any fashion advice, she’s likely to tell the teenager to splash out on turtlenecks as she recently spoke of her love of the versatile garments.
She said: “I like the turtleneck style and then I just layer summer dresses or even jumpsuits on top.”

Meanwhile, the fashion designer – who collaborated with the longstanding retailer Marks and Spencer, also known as M&S, and launched the capsule Archive for Alexa in 2016 – has admitted her friends are her “muses” for her designs, and she “always ” has “someone” in mind when she is creating a new garment.
Speaking previously, the creative mastermind – who unveiled her eponymous label in July last year, and has previously joined forces with AG Jeans and Madewell – said: “But, really, I just want my friends to like it and people that I know. When I’m making something, I always have someone in mind. For the navy blue suit, I was like, ‘Oh, my friend Gillian would love that.’ Or the trench for Tenessee. They’re my muses.'”
And Alexa has revealed she is constantly worrying about how her collections are received by others because she doesn’t want to disappoint anyone.
She explained: “Yes, I worry. It’s just a blanket worry I have in life. Not necessarily about approval. I’m kind of a Girl Guide, so I don’t want to let anyone down – especially not the brand that has brought me in to give them my opinions.”

Iris Law looks like her mother in her Burberry Beauty campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Iris Law thinks she looks like her mother in her Burberry Beauty campaign.
The 16-year-old model – who is the daughter of 44-year-old actor Jude Law and his ex-wife Sadie Frost – loved the “timeless” look Wendy Rowe created for the advertisements, and the teenager admits she can see a lot of similarities with old pictures of her 51-year-old actress parent.
iris – who was announced as the face of the British designer brand earlier this week – said: “Wendy did a fresh dewy skin, simple eye and a strong red lip.
“This look is timeless and reminded me of all the old pictures of my mum when she was in her twenties – so iconic.”
The brunette beauty has admitted she never used to use lip colour because she struggled to make it look “neat”, but she’s grown more confident now thanks to her new favourite Burberry products.
She explained to Look magazine : “I used to refrain from using the lip colours as I struggled to get a neat finish.
“They’d often end up looking smudged. But the Liquid Lip Velvet lipsticks are so easy to use, they’ve made me love using lip colour.
“I apply it to the middle of my bottom lip and use my finger to move the tint across my lips so that the coverage is light.
“The colour is super pigmented so you can vary the finish any way you want.”
Although the star has admitted she has only recently perfected using the cosmetic product, she has revealed her go-to make-up item is lip balm because she not only applies it to her lips but also to her cheekbones and eyelids for a “glossy and dewy” look.
Speaking previously about her beauty secrets, she said: “Definitely lip balm because I can use that on my cheekbones and on my eyelids to really moisturise.
“Last year, I felt like the style was matte [skin] but now this year, I think [the style is] quite glossy and dewy. I enjoyed [it] because I always put lip balm on my cheeks and eyelids. I think I made that up! I just started doing it in school, because I don’t really wear make-up when studying.”

Karlie Kloss is the face of Adidas by Stella McCartney's S/S17 campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Karlie Kloss is the face of Adidas by Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2017 campaign.
The 24-year-old model – who first starred in the 45-year-old fashion designer and the sportswear giant’s commercial in July last year – has teamed up with Stella and Adidas for their latest advert alongside yoga instructor Chelsey Korus and sprinter Octavious Freeman.
Speaking about her latest venture, the Chicago-born star said: “The Adidas by Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 2017 is about celebrating strong female athleticism and embracing new challenges.”
And the blonde beauty – who has also modelled for Nike, Chanel and Alexander McQueen – has admitted the photoshoot enabled her to discover new methods to help her “strengthen” her body and mind, and Karlie has admitted her colleagues on set were the ones who educated her.
She explained: “During the shoot, I learned new ways to strengthen both my body and mind from the other incredible women who champion this exciting new collection. This campaign is all about making your own rules but also embracing inspiration from others.”
Meanwhile, Karlie has admitted she feels most confident when she “feels strong” and has completed an intense workout.
Speaking previously, she said: “I like to do anything that has to do with strength training, like a workout with a lot of reps and light weights or ankle weights, and doing exercises that use your body weight. I like cardio and switching it up with light weights.
“I find that that kind of duality in your workout is super effective. And I feel most confident when I feel strong.”
As well as the exercise, the catwalk icon likes to keep up with a good skincare routine to stop her face from getting “destroyed” by the sheer amount of make-up she has to wear for photoshoots and runway shows.
She added: “I always go to bed with a clean face. At a runway show, or photo shoot, I wear a very thick layer of makeup and it’s really important to me that I remove that and cleanse.
“For my nightly routine, I remove make-up with micellar water to remove make-up or anything on my skin. Then I clarify with the Clarisonic brush – even if it’s maybe not doing anything, it feels good.”

Dame Vivienne Westwood designs London Fashion Week Festival tote

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Vivienne Westwood has designed the London Fashion Week Festival tote bag.
The 75-year-old fashion designer and eco-activist has been announced as the creative mastermind behind the organic cotton bag for this season’s fashion extravaganza, and the style muse has admitted she is “happy” to have been selected to design the accessory and to communicate an “important message” in a bid to bring a stop to climate change.
Speaking about her latest venture, she said: “Global warming is at the tipping point. If we go past it, we can’t stop it. All the methane kicks in. We’re there right now. Stop climate change. All our friends are going to switch to green energy – Ecotricity – and I am happy to design a tote that communicates this important message.”
Vivienne’s limited edition products will be available to purchase during London Fashion Week for £20 and will see 50 per cent of the proceedings go towards the star’s preferred charity Fuel Poverty Action, which aims to provide aid in the form of blankets and home products for pensioners’ groups and tenants’ associations.
And the businesswoman has revealed she drew inspiration for the bag from her own Autumn/Winter 2017/2018 show titled Ecotricity, as well as NASA’s projection of the effect of climate change on the world should the earth’s temperature rise by four degrees.
Vivienne’s creation includes a map of the world emblazoned across one side with various areas coloured in green, whilst others are in red, with her signature on.
The bag also has a poignant message about the environment penned on the item, and it reads: “Uninhabitable Land
“Once the rising temperature goes beyond the tipping point it will runaway to + 5 degrees = Only one billion people left by the end of this century.”

Zendaya wears sweatpants '99 per cent' of the time

OHMYGOSSIP — Zendaya wears sweatpants “99 per cent” of the time.
The 20-year-old actress and fashion designer – who launched her clothing line Daya by Zendaya in November 2016 – has revealed her style depends on how lazy she feels, although she has admitted she chooses to wear a tracksuit set from her label almost every day.
Speaking about her wardrobe choices, the brunette beauty said: “In many ways, I have different facets of my life and lifestyle and what I do, and I think that is reflected in my clothing brand, Daya. It’s a way of hitting all those points of who I am. On a day-to-day basis, what I wear depends on how lazy I am. Ninety-nine per cent of the time I wear sweatpants, which is why I have so many sweats and jumpsuits in my collection.”
And the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star has revealed she wanted her fashion range to be more than just eye-catching garments but also a means to promote “self-love and empowerment”.
She explained: “I can’t promote self-love and body empowerment and not have a clothing line that reflects that. My point was to make Daya more than fashion. In many ways, designing is very similar to making music. It all falls under having a vision and trying to execute that vision.”
Meanwhile, Zendaya has hinted she has an unhealthy diet because she smothers her food in Nutella, she munches on noodles for lunch and she doesn’t drink water but relies on a sweet juice to re-hydrate.
Speaking about her eating plan to HarpersBazaar.com, she said: “I’ve never been a breakfast person. I love breakfast food, just not at breakfast time. I’ll eat breakfast food, but it must have some Nutella on it: pancakes, berries, and Nutella.
“It’s bad but because I work so much, sometimes I forget to eat. I snack throughout the day, though, especially if I’m on set where there is craft service. My go-to is a cup of noodles with hot sauce. I know it’s bad for me. People are like, ‘Zendaya, it’s high in sodium!’ but it’s what I want to eat … And I hate water. I’m a juice drinker but not fancy-people juice. Like Tropicana or lemonade – not fancy.”

Una Healy struggles to walk in high heels

OHMYGOSSIP — Una Healy has “never” mastered the art of dancing in heels.
The 35-year-old singer – who is known for being in the girl group The Saturdays before embarking on a solo music career – has admitted she is always found it “so difficult” to strut around on stage in stilettos and has admitted it is a “skill” she has failed to perfect, whilst her band members never shared the same problem.
Speaking about her wardrobe preferences, she said: “It was so difficult dancing in heels. It’s definitely a skill I didn’t have.
“The other girls mastered it, but I never quite could.”
And the golden-haired beauty has revealed whilst Vanessa White, Frankie Bridge, Rochelle Humes and Mollie King adorned platform shoes she was “always” given smaller heels, although her stylists did try to change her ways.
Una – who has four-year-old daughter Aoife and 23-month-old son Tadhg with her husband Ben Foden – explained: “I was always the one in the smallest heels. They tried [to put me in higher ones] but I said, ‘I can’t, it’ll literally be like I’m running around on stilts.’ I need that balance. I won’t miss that.”
However, Una doesn’t feel like the odd one out as she has noticed Little Mix – which is comprised of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – don’t wear “massive heels” when they’re on stage.
She told Metro newspaper: “I’ve watched them [Little Mix] and they really put their moves out, but i noticed they don’t go around in massive heels.”

Yara swiftly changed into a transparent sleeved blouse with a patterned midi pencil skirt from Bibhu Mohapatra’s Spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection to present the Favourite Premium Series Actress award to 51-year-old actress Sarah Jessica Parker.

Meanwhile, Ruby – who plays the role of Adele Wolff in the upcoming action film ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ alongside Nina Dobrev – has admitted she worked out “three or four days a week” in preparation for her role.
Speaking previously about her fitness routine, she said: “Probably three or four days a week we did sniper training, then the other days were just exercise — fitness, strength … a lot of strength.

“I made sure I did so much training that I let them [producers] feel confident in me doing them.”
However, Ruby has admitted she was “ripped” by the time she finished shooting the production, although she has found it hard to work out without her co-star Vin Diesel, 49, to compete with.
She explained: “I was so ripped.
“But I realised if you don’t have Vin in the gym with you every morning, competing with you, it’s hard to get that level of muscle.”

“Probably seven but I just ordered two more. I have a lion and my friend has a polar bear that I always steal. I like my pig one and my fave is a poop emoji.”
And the brunette beauty – who plays the role of Rebecca ‘Becky’ Clearidge in ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ alongside Vin Diesel and Ruby Rose – has revealed she has “zero tattoos” because she fears she will regret it in the future because the body art would be something she would be “obsessed” with at that moment but later grow out of.
When asked about her favourite childhood objects, she told the Metro newspaper: “Barney, which is probably why I have zero tattoos, because if I got a tattoo of anything I was obsessed with, five years later I would have hated myself. Also, [anime series] Sailor Moon for a while and My Little Pony, which is probably why I love unicorns now.
“I’ve been into unicorns for ten years now and that’s my nickname. My friends started calling me that on social media and now it’s a thing.”
