Christopher Bailey doesn't want own line

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Bailey has never wanted his own fashion line.
The Burberry chief creative officer – who recently stepped down as CEO to focus on the artistic aspects of the company – insists he has always been happy to be “number two” to the iconic brand and has no “ego” about his role.
He said: “You do have to leave your ego at the door.
“That was something that was very clear to me – and I’ve never aspired to have my own brand.
“I was always happier as a number two and when you’re working for an iconic, heritage brand, you are a number two because the brand is number one and it always will be.”
And Christopher admits he still feels a sense of “responsibility” to Thomas Burberry, who founded the British brand in 1856 and despite his high position within the company, he only feels like he is “looking after” it until someone else comes along.
He told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “[If I could speak to Burberry, I would say], ‘I hope we’ve done OK by you.’ And I think he’d probably say, ‘You could have done better.’
“I definitely feel a sense of responsibility to him, because it takes great courage to build something that has your name on it and I don’t wear that responsibility lightly.
“But I also have an innate sense that I’m only looking after this company until it’s time to pass it on to somebody else – and that makes me want to do what’s right for Burberry in the long term.”
The 45-year-old designer is incredibly loyal to the fashion house and proud of its creations.
Asked what he is wearing, he replied: “Burberry, head to toe, down to my undies.”

Bella Hadid felt 'so appreciated and overwhelmed' at the launch of her Chrome Hearts collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid felt “so appreciated and overwhelmed” by the support she received at the launch of her Chrome Hearts collection.
The 20-year-old model joined forces with the label last year and teased she was working on her debut fashion range titled Chrome Hearts x Bella with the brand, which she unveiled on Saturday (04.03.17), and the star was taken back by the hordes of people who flocked to get their hands on her creations in the rain.
Alongside a picture of a queue of people, which was edited with a black and white filter and shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “So thankful…Feeling so appreciative and overwhelmed by the people that waited in the rain & came to support and the people that helped set all of this up. There are no words for how much I love you! Thank you x a million @chromeheartsofficial @chromeheartsxbella @laurielynnstark @jessejostark (sic).”
Not only has the catwalk icon thanked her fans, but she has also taken to social media to thank Chrome Heart owner Laurie Lynn Stark for helping to create “the best collection launch ever”.
The fashion muse shared a picture of her squeezing the entrepreneur on her photo-sharing page, which she captioned: “#ILOVEYOU! @laurielynnstark forever and ever and ever!!!! Thank you for dedicating your past few months to making this the best collection launch ever!!! #SUPERwoman ! (sic).”
And the brunette beauty is “still processing” how successful the big unveil in Paris, France, was over the weekend.
She wrote: “Still processing that last night was real. Truly can’t believe how many people showed up to support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart @chromeheartsxbella @chromeheartsofficial (sic).”
Laura has publicly gushed about Bella and has admitted she is “beyond proud” of the star and their collaborative project together.

Cheryl will be adding 'new styles' to Eylure x Cheryl cosmetics collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl has teased she will be launching “new styles” to her Eylure x Cheryl cosmetics collection.
The 33-year-old singer – who is known for being in the girl band Girls Aloud alongside Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh – has “refreshed” her line of false eyelashes with the beauty brand, which will see a change in the exterior packaging, as well as the addition of new products.
The brunette beauty, who is expecting her first child with her 23-year-old boyfriend Liam Payne, shared the news on her Instagram account.
Alongside an image of the campaign, which sees the ‘Fight for this Love’ hitmaker appear in a collage of three images, she wrote: “Ladies.. I’ve had a refresh of my @eylureofficial collection new packaging AND some new styles in there too!! They’re available nationwide from this week enjoy #EylureXCheryl (sic).”
Meanwhile, the singer has admitted she is in a great place in her life where she doesn’t feel like she has “failed” herself, although she did use to battle with “self-doubt” as a teenager.
Speaking previously, she said: “My name’s Cheryl and I’m from Newcastle. There was definitely a time when I struggled with self-doubt. I would say more so in my life when I was a teenager was when I first dreamed about experiencing those feelings of doubting yourself and doubting your decisions. I wasn’t doing very well in school at all.
“There’s moment in life when you might feel things as failure but they’re actually just learning curves so you can’t be afraid to fail … You’ve got to experience stuff to feel that way and I’m definitely at a place now where I don’t feel like I failed at things, I feel like I learn.
“Don’t ever just sit there feeling sad, feeling excluded, feeling in a horrible way. Don’t ever feel alone because there’s many of us out there that want to help.”

Tinie Tempah has to look 'the most dapper'

OHMYGOSSIP — Tinie Tempah has always wanted to look “the most dapper”.
The 28-year-old musician believes regardless of what job he was to have, whether he was in the spotlight or was a cleaner, he would “one million per cent” make sure he dressed well and looked the best he could.
Speaking about his style choices, the dark-haired hunk – who was named the Best Dressed Man at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in 2012 – said: “A million per cent. Even if I was emptying dustbins! Whatever job I did, I’d always try to be the most dapper.”
Tinie – whose full name is Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu – is currently living in the home, which previously belonged to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen who died in 2010.
And the vocalist believes there is a “creative energy” in his apartment, which has lead him to add unusual furnishings, including a zebra model, to the East London accommodation.
The ‘Not Letting Go’ hitmaker explained: “I brought a zebra to add to it, a few bits and bobs. Like there this creative energy in the house, and I’ve absorbed some of it. People around there still talk about Lee he didn’t live in a bubble.”
The star has revealed he always used to look out over Greenwich and told himself his career would flourish and he would own all of the South East London area.
Speaking about his motivation, he said: “I’d look at it, and say to myself ‘One day, I’ll have all of this.’
“It sounds weird, but I felt this certainty.”
However, Tinie would never want to be involved in a scandal to help boost his fame, and would rather take his time building a successful career.
He told Eurostar Metropolitan magazine: “There’s a level of scandal that makes you more famous.
“Those are the people who are talked about, who break the internet. Bur form I guess it’s a tortoise and hare race.”

Jourdan Dunn has a very selective wardrobe

OHMYGOSSIP — Jourdan Dunn “always” wears black, grey and nude coloured clothing.
The 26-year-old model has a select colour palette for the clothes in her wardrobe, which include monochrome shades, pale peach hues and navy blue, because she believes everyone has to have “go-to” fashion choices.
Speaking about her style preferences to MarieClaire.co.uk, the brunette beauty said: “I feel like you just have to have your go-tos. You can’t go wrong with a pair of skinny jeans, a great hoodie, a vest top, and a bomber jacket with a pair of heels. Or even sneakers.
“I’m always in black, grey, nudes, navy blue and white.”
The catwalk icon believes the key to looking great in athleisure is to feel “comfortable and confident”, which is why she relies on a mix of fabrics and styles.
She explained: “First, it has to suit you and make you feel comfortable and confident. I like rocking a good mix of fabrics and different styles, like a fleece, high waisted skirt and a pair of heels. I feel like it’s all about that balance.”
Meanwhile the fashion muse – who regularly graces the runway alongside Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Joan Smalls – has revealed her seven-year-old son, Riley, has met her celebrity friends and colleagues but “wasn’t bothered” by their high status.
She explained: “No, not really. When he met Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner and all of that lot, he really wasn’t bothered! But then again, I think he was only about five years old! He didn’t care.”
Although Riley isn’t impressed by his mother’s famous pals, he gets “really emotional” when Jourdan has to jet off for work and wished she could stay with him in London.
She explained: “He’s [Riley] seven now and in school so my mum looks after him when I’m away. I want him to have a good routine and he’s really good with it all but it sometimes does get to him because I’ll be home for a few days and then I get scared of telling him that I’m going again because he gets really emotional and he’s like ‘Mummy why can’t you be like other parents and stay and work in London? Why do you have to go to America?’ But, then he gets over it when he realises ‘Okay mummy, you’re making money so I can get loads of toys right?’ and I’m like ‘Yeah exactly!’ then he’s over it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins loves to “take chances” with her red carpet outfits, according to beauty expert Fiona Stiles.
The 27-year-old actress – who is the daughter of musician Phil Collins and his former partner Jill Tavelman – has been praised as a “classic beauty” who has “incredible gamine features” and is open to experiment with her wardrobe choices and beauty aesthetic for star studded events.
Speaking about the brunette beauty and her style, the make-up professional said: “Lily is such a classic beauty with these incredible gamine features that merge so beautifully with that Old Hollywood glamour aesthetic – but in real life she’s a really modern girl who likes to take chances with her red carpet looks.”
And Fiona felt she had the freedom to make over the ‘Love, Rosie’ star “differently than any other client” after she saw the black v-plunge gown Lily wore to the Vanity Fair after party following the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (26.02.17).

She explained: “I kind of love the subversive blink and you’ll miss it element to the look. Like, if you aren’t really paying attention, and looking her in the eyes when you’re talking to her, you’ll miss the whole point.
“That made it feel a little noir and extra glamorous. It’s all really wonderfully collaborative.”
And Lily has admitted it was her “favourite” look “ever”.
Fiona said: “She [Lily] said it was maybe her favourite look ever, which just makes my heart feel so full and proud.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid is grateful for Olivier Rousteing’s support “over the years”.
The 21-year-old model opened the 31-year-old fashion designer’s Balmain Autumn/Winter 2017 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (02.03.17), and the star has “so much love” for the entrepreneur for selecting her to represent the designer brand and for backing her throughout her career.
Alongside a picture of the golden-haired beauty ahead of the catwalk presentation, which she shared on her Instagram account and sees her adorn a black ensemble, black smokey eye make-up, a lip ring and her hair sleeked back, she wrote: “BALMAIN ARMY

Speaking about the styling choices for the fashion extravaganza, the beauty expert told Allure magazine: “There’s no need, the eye makeup’s already so black.”
And only a touch of lip balm was applied to their lips because the lip rings were worn to be the main focus.
Tom continued: “That’s not make-up. It’s a piece of jewellery created by Olivier, that’s why we’re only putting balm on the lips.”
And the inspiration behind the models for Olivier’s show was the heavy metal band Metallica and “the girlfriend of a hard rock singer”.
Tom continued: “At the hair and make-up test, we were talking about the girlfriend of a hard rock singer and Metallica came up. So I think it was important to have metallic on the eyes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Williams inspired Katy Perry’s dramatic haircut.
The ‘Roar’ hitmaker has taken to social media to document her new beauty make-over, which has seen her ditch her bob for an even shorter blonde pixie crop, and the star has revealed the 36-year-old actress strongly influenced her decision to cut her hair.
The 32-year-old singer shared a string of short videos on her Instagram Story, which remains on the photo-sharing site for 24 hours, showing the process of her beauty transformation and her style muse.
Alongside a picture of the ‘Manchester By The Sea’ star, she wrote: “SHOUT OUT MW INSPO (sic).”
The powerhouse has claimed she has “redefined beauty” with her latest look.
Speaking in the clips, which show her tresses being hacked off, she said: “Bye. Let’s re-define beauty, right Chris?”
And when asked by the beauty expert, Chris McMillan, if she likes her hair, she said: “Yes, so happy.”

Kit Harington is the new face of Dolce and Gabbana's The One fragrance

OHMYGOSSIP — Kit Harington has been announced as the face of Dolce and Gabbana’s latest fragrance.
The 30-year-old actor is the representative of the luxury Italian brand’s new male scent titled The One, and the star will feature in the designer label’s beauty campaigns in September this year.
The news of the ‘Game of Thrones’ star’s upcoming venture was announced on social media by the fashion house.
Alongside a picture of the dark-haired hunk, which was shared on the Dolce and Gabbana Instagram account, it read: “The British actor #KitHarington will be the new face of Dolce&Gabbana’s fragrance line #DGTheOne for Men starting September 2017 #DGBeauty (sic).”
The brand’s founders and fashion designers Domenico Dolce, 58, and Stefano Gabbana, 54, have praised the British star for being the ideal figure to represent the brand because he is “young, naturally charming, charismatic” and has a “rich personality”.
Speaking in a statement about the star, the creative masterminds said: “Kit Harington is exactly how we see the Dolce & Gabbana man: young, naturally charming, charismatic, with a personality rich in traits.”
And they believe there is “no other face” more suitable for the position and to helm the labels campaigns.
They continued: “There could be no other face for The One for Men.”
Kit will follow in the footsteps of fellow actors including Matthew McConaughey, 47, who previously fronted Dolce and Gabbana’s fragrance commercials.
Meanwhile, the heartthrob, who is dating Rose Leslie after the pair met on set of the American drama series, found it “easy to fall in love” with his 30-year-old girlfriend.
When asked what his favourite series of ‘Game of Thrones’ to shoot was, he said previously: “Because the country [Iceland] is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love.

And the ‘Black Widow’ hitmaker has been “so excited” for the big unveil all week.
Alongside a short video of the new campaign, which she shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “So excited for you to discover my new @tezenisofficial collection!!! (sic).”
And the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ actress – who plays the role of Mia Grey in the erotic film – has praised the creative team as being “so supportive and passionate” and a privilege to work with.
She continued: “I love working with this team they are so supportive and passionate. i could not choose a better team to work on this project with! Thank you all for your support and I’m so excited for you to see it, March 3rd. Love Rita x (sic).”
And Rita has always been a fan of the Italian lingerie company because their designs fit her assets perfectly.
Speaking previously, she said: “I always struggle to find bras that fit. I’m a 34DD when I’m at that time of the month and when I’m not, it’s 34D. I used Tezenis products and I enjoyed them, and I’m not saying this because I endorse them, but because I wear them.”

She explained: “A white dress is a must for Spring.”
Although Emily likes simplistic styles and has admitted she used to be “very anti-conformist” when she was younger, she enjoyed changing her aesthetic and dying her hair bleach blonde for her role in the Netflix show ‘Easy’ because she was never allowed to undergo a dramatic transformation when she was modelling.
Speaking previously, she said: “I think with my [modelling] job I could never do that, but I was going to art school at UCLA before I started doing this full-time and I think of myself as someone who maybe would have been very anti-conformist beauty-wise, so it was fun to play that type.”

The 28-year-old model likes to give people the wrong information as to how she and the 37-year-old creative mastermind – who is designing a new line for Lane Bryant, which Ashley has modelled for previously – met, and has lead them to believe they crossed paths on the dating app specifically for homosexuals, although the designer made the first move by inviting her to one of his fashion shows.
Speaking about their friendship to Elle UK website, the brunette beauty said: “Well, people do keep wanting to ask how we met.
“The truth is, he invited me to his show last season. He made me a custom gown. I sat front row. I was freaking out, because we as curvy women don’t generally get invited to high-end fashion shows. And it’s a process when you sit in the front row as a guest of the designer. You have your hair and makeup done. You get your photo taken. And I went backstage afterwards, and I just wanted to say thank you. So that’s how we really met.
“But we tell people we met on Grindr.”
The entrepreneur’s new collection for the fashion house is set to launch this week, which will include creations to fit sizes 10 – 28, and Prabal hopes his designs will choose his garments to have for life.
Speaking about the Lane Bryant x Prabal Gurung range, the creator said: “My clothes belong on every body. We carry up to size 22 in my main collection, but often times, stores just won’t stock the sizes that high.
“So this Lane Bryant collection is my solution.
“I always envision a woman buying it and I want it to work for her life and her body. Otherwise, what’s the point?”

Milla Jovovich can't wear 'one-of-a-kind' pieces since motherhood

OHMYGOSSIP — Milla Jovovich has stopped wearing extravagant clothes since she became a mother because she’s too worried about her kids ruining her garments.
The 42-year-old actress – who has two children, daughter Ever, nine, and 23-month-old son Dashiel, with her director husband Paul WS Anderson – has admitted her style has been simplified by parenthood as she lives in fear of “mashed fruit or vomit” staining irreplaceable clothes.
Milla said: “It’s definitely simplified. I used to be the kind of girl, especially in my 20s, who was constantly wearing these one-of-a-kind Victorian jackets. I used to take loads of time to get ready and spend hours accessorising. Of course, once you become a parent that becomes completely obsolete. You don’t have the time, and who wants baby gunk – whether it’s mashed fruit or vomit or whatever – on your one-of-a-kind Victorian jacket?”
Milla – who became a model at the age of just 11 – added that she doesn’t need a stylist to dress her because she’s confident in her own fashion acumen and knows what looks good on her frame.
In an interview with Prestige Hong Kong magazine, she said: “I’ve always dressed myself for the most part, although I have worked with stylists. But I know what I want to wear and that’s something I don’t feel a stylist could ever really bring me. I just love classic pieces. That’s why I like Prada as well, for its lines and sense of humour.”
The ‘Resident Evil’ actress has designed her own brand of jeans and insisted they will be modern rather than “gimmicky”.
She said: “They’re based on a few of my favourite pairs, one of them being a jean that I designed 10 years ago. It’s high-waisted, but not too crazy or with too much design on it. It’s more simple, sleek and everyday, which you don’t really find. Usually they’re very gimmicky, super-70s. I want something modern. Let’s see how it turns out.”

Priyanka Chopra lips are her most 'prominent feature'

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra believes her lips are her most “prominent feature”.
The 34-year-old actress prides herself with having a full pout, and the ‘Quantico’ star has revealed she makes a home-made lip scrub made of sea salt and rose water to help exfoliate, moisturise and plump her assets.
Speaking about her skincare treatments she swears by in a video with Vogue.com, the brunette beauty said: “This has been taught to us by our mums and our grand-mums.
“Masks I have learnt from my mum, my grandmother. Women in India tend to use natural products.
“The lip scrub, as you can tell my lips are one of my more prominent features. Take a little sea salt, depending on the size of your lips, add a little vegetable glycerine and rose water and rub.”
The star has revealed she also makes her own body scrub, which include her “magic ingredient” sandalwood powder and turmeric, although she has warned it may change the colour of the skin if too much is used.
Speaking about the product, she said: “So this is a bodyscrub. It’s an exfoliator, hydrator, moisturiser, it heals, but please try it on your hand to see if you’re allergic or not. [You need] one cup of gram flour, then yoghurt, not flavoured, plain, mix it into a paste with a little bit of lemon juice … if it’s bad add a little bit of milk to it. Now the magic ingredient … sandal wood powder. It works for everything is turmeric. It may give you a little yellow-ish hue, so be careful how much you put in. If you have an oily skin used low fat yoghurt. The idea of it is to let it dry then scrub it off, and then you shower and get rid of any excess on your hand.
“It really soothes – I’ve taught it to a lot of my friends.”
“Women in India [tend to] use natural products. It really does work for me.”
And Priyanka has revealed she relies on scented moisturisers instead of perfumes to leave her smelling “really nice”.
She explained: “I love moisturizers that smell really nice, because then you don’t need perfume – you just walk out like your own garden. I’m a big believer in the fact that if you can walk out the door with no foundation, you know you’re at your beauty best.”

Speaking to Glamour magazine about her latest venture, the brunette beauty said: “They’d say, ‘You don’t have to come for the design meeting.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean? That’s the whole purpose of it. I want to be there for the casting and the design, and for everything. I want to have the final say, because it’s my name in it and it’s a representation of me. I don’t want to have my name on it if other people have done all the work. And also, if it all goes to s**t, it’s got my name n it.”
And the catwalk icon – who has seven-year-old son Riley – has high hopes for her partnership with the label, and she is already working on her second line with the firm.
She added: “It’s something I truly believe in and want to have longevity.”
And the entrepreneur – who created a childrenswear range with Marks and Spencer titled Lil’ LonDunn last year – has revealed she wasn’t as forward as she is now when she was younger, as she was too “scared” to take part in debates in lessons.
She explained: “I’m in a new stage of my life, a new chapter, and I want to give something interesting. I was just so disappointed in myself. At school, I would always know the answer, but be scared to put my hand up and stutter.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid is the new face of Dior Beauty’s new campaign.
The 20-year-old model – who was named the face of the luxury designer brand in May last year – stars in the latest commercial for the label’s Diorshow mascara, and the brunette beauty is “honoured” she has been able to work with the “iconic brand” because it has always been her lifelong dream.
Alongside a picture of the catwalk icon in the advert, which has been shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “Wow GOOD MORNING!!! @diormakeup
“My first official Dior Beauty campaign! This is such a crazy, magical, massive honor for me to work for such an iconic brand that I have wanted to be a part of my entire life!!! I have dreamt about this moment since I was a child!!! I am still in shock! Thank you @diormakeup @jeromepulis@fannybourdettedonon @imgmodels@annemarieleonie @julienclisson@yolanda.hadid and the one and only @peterphilipsmakeup !!! #DIOR (sic).”
And the fashion muse has had a busy month as she has modelled in a variety of catwalk shows for prestigious designer labels including Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung and Moschino, during the fashion month.
Speaking previously about her runway appearances, the star said: “@moschino tonight!! Another insane show by @itsjeremyscott and @carlynecerfdedudzeele .. I always look forward to your show…so fun and always know we’re gonna get some old school glamour! And Bella has showed no signs of slowing down as she has teased she will be “officially dropping” her debut fashion range with Chrome Hearts Official “soon”, although she has yet to confirm a launch date.
