Sabrina Carpenter’s makeup artist speaks out on theory that she is a ‘real-life Bratz doll’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sabrina Carpenter’s makeup is inspired by fashion dolls.
The 24-year-old pop star has sometimes been compared to a Bratz doll by fans on social media and now her makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez – who has worked with her on a host of glamorous events like the Grammys and the iHeart Jingle Ball – has explained that her looks do indeed come from the same time period that the MGA doll line and Barbie rival was released.
She told Popsugar: “Carpenter’s natural features always inspire me and are easy to highlight when creating her looks. She does have very delicate characteristics. Her makeup is very doll-like with a twist of late ’90s and early 2000s inspiration.”
Caroline added that when it comes to the ‘because i liked a boy’ singer’s “signature style”, it is all a collaborative effort between them both that focuses on various
She said: “Sabrina’s signature style is glowing skin; flushed cheeks; fluffy, delicate eyes; and a plump lip. These are the [four] elements that are all working together to create that ethereal look she’s known for.
“When I work with Sabrina, we always collaborate between the two of us on the final outcome. We have worked together for quite some time now, so Sabrina trusts me to execute her ideas and interpret them into her more glam, over-the-top looks.
“I always turn to the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Glow Blush (£38) in the shades 50 and 51. They are different shades of pink that are staples for getting those rosy, doll-like cheeks.
“The Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer Highlighter is a must-use product. It helps to achieve that perfectly glowy skin that is part of Sabrina’s signature without being glittery.”

Priyanka Chopra uses beauty to boost her self-esteem: ‘You need to bring the focus back to you!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra uses beauty routines to boost her self-esteem.
The 41-year-old actress – who is married to former Disney Channel star Nick Jonas and has two-year-old Malti Marie with him – explained that because life can be so “busy” for most people, it can be useful to indulge in self-care with face masks or “gorgeous makeup” to take a step back from the stresses of everyday life.
She told Cosmopolitan: “We live in such busy worlds, constantly giving, but when we focus on beauty or self-care, you’re bringing the focus back to you. That little time that we give ourselves can have such a profound effect on our confidence, our sense of self. It can make us feel like we’re important and that it’s okay to take care of ourselves. Whatever your version of that is, whether it’s a face mask at night or shimmery eyes and gorgeous makeup; putting the lens on yourself has a profound effect on our self-esteem.”
But the ‘Love Again’ star added that whether she is wearing makeup or not has no effect on her overall appearance if she is not feeling good internally as she insisted that if she is happy on the inside she will be “glowing”, but the case will not be the same if she is feeling bad even if she has been “dressed up to the nines” for a glamorous event.
She added: “Whether I’m wearing makeup, not wearing makeup; when I’m happy I look at my face and I’m just like ‘She’s glowing, it’s giving. It’s giving life.’ Even if I’m dressed to the nines and have been made up by the most amazing makeup artists in the world, if I’m feeling like s***, it doesn’t translate.

Taylor Swift ‘single-handedly’ catapulted NFL player’s wife’s fashion business

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has been praised for “single-handedly” catapulting the career of the designer wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
Kristin Juszczyk’s designs went viral after Brittany Mahomes, 28, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also 28, and the Grammy-winning star – who is dating the Chiefs’ 34-year-old tight end Travis Kelce – wore her sports jackets.
Appearing on the ‘Today’ show, Kristin, 29, said: “Brittany texted me and she said, ‘Hey, can you send me a video of Taylor’s jacket?’ And I was like, ‘Wait, is there a possibility the guys both wearing this?’ And she said, ‘Yeah, we’re wearing it.’
“It was just such a pinch-me moment. I mean, it just was incredible.”

“Obviously, once Taylor Swift wore her Jacket, which really blew up, Taylor Lautner as well that weekend, it’s really just taken off.”

Tony Burch recalls turning down Prince’s tour outfits design offer from the bathtub

OHMYGOSSIP — Tory Burch has recalled having to reject late music icon Prince’s request for her to design his tour outfits – whilst in the bathtub.
The 57-year-old fashion designer was flattered when the ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker – who died at the age of 57 in 2016 – phoned her up and asked to make his costumes, but she was only in her first year of business and didn’t have the “capacity” to take on Prince’s outfits, but he did end up wearing the brand’s clothes.
She told British Vogue: “I found a polyester tunic in a French flea market in Paris for $6. This was our shape from day one. Prince started to wear it on his tour. I don’t know how he discovered it, probably his stylist, and he ended up calling me on the phone. I was in the bath at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and my phone rang and it was Prince. He wanted me to do the costumes for his tour. It was our first year of business, and I really wanted to do it, but we didn’t have the capacity, so he just started wearing our clothing.”
Prince wore the tunic when he headlined Coachella in 2008.
Burch rarely works for one specific person, but she has designed looks for the likes of Phoebe Bridgers or Emily Ratajkowski for the prestigious Met Gala.
She said: “How could I not include some Met Gala moments? It’s been really fun to explore working on dresses for specific people. It’s something we haven’t done a lot of, but I really love partnering with them, whether it’s Phoebe Bridgers or Emily Ratajkowski, or Adwoa Aboah. They all have their own perspectives on fashion, and how they see things.”

Last year, Dua Lipa teamed up with Donatella to co-design a womenswear collection for Versace.
The 28-year-old British pop star and the Italian fashion designer created the high summer ‘La Vacanza’ women’s collection.
Speaking about the collection, Dua – who made her runway debut at Versace’s Spring/Summer 2022 show at Milan Fashion Week – said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have co-designed the women’s ‘La Vacanza’ collection for Versace with Donatella. Emma Chamberlain reveals her natural makeup and skincare routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Chamberlain keeps her makeup minimal on nights out because she’s bound to sweat it off.
The 22-year-old social media influencer opts for natural skin, lots of bronzer, a chunky lash and a “solid lip combo” to keep things simple.
She told InStyle.com: “I like super natural skin just because [makeup] ends up coming off anyway, so I don’t want to overdo it. But I’m definitely bronzing it up; it’s a key moment. I’m bronzing up the eye, too! And then a chunky lash, too, kind of. Not too chunky. And a really solid lip combo. I like it to be simple because over the course of the night, you’re sweating, you’re being funny. It doesn’t matter because it wears off nicely.”
When it comes to her skincare routine before going out, the vlogger always washes her face before applying products – no matter what.
She said: “Honestly, my only thing is I just hydrate every day, day and night. So, I am also hydrating right before makeup. I always wash my face right before I do my makeup, too. Some people don’t, but I have to wash and go back and redo the whole skin-care routine. Even if I did it two hours ago, I don’t care. I also like tools, the little micro-current thing.”
And once she’s home, she likes to go “all in” with makeup removal and do a “quadruple cleanse”, and when she’s not up for that, her go-to product is micellar water.
The Lancôme brand ambassador said of her post-night out routine: “I’m going all in. Okay? Because listen, there are some nights when it’s like, we’re lucky that we’re getting out the micellar water, and we’re doing the bare minimum. But in an ideal world, I’m going all in. So we’re going in with the eye makeup remover. Then we’re going in with the micellar water and the incredible cleansing milk. Then I go in with a full cleanser… That’s the final step. It’s a quadruple cleanse. Then, I do like to chemical exfoliate, so, the Clarifique serum. My skin gets really dry after a night out. Génifique serum, Génifique night cream, Génifique eye cream. And if I’m really dry, the Absolue Oil, a thin layer of the oil, and we’re done. But, really, it’s all about quad cleansing!”

Beyonce launching haircare brand

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce is launching her own haircare brand.
The 42-year-old star has teased the arrival of her Cécred brand, and the ‘Crazy In Love’ hitmaker let her fans know to expect more news later this month.
Alongside a video teasing her move into the beauty world, she wrote: “Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20. Visit CECRED.COM.”
She previously hinted at the upcoming project in May 2023, alongside a photoshoot of her sat styling her curls in front of the mirror.
At the time, she reflected on her “first job” cleaning up in her mother Tina’s salon, noting how the hair and beauty world has long been connected to her music.
She said: “How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done.
“I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.
“I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women.”
Now, the ‘Break My Soul’ singer wants to continue that “legacy”, and she’s excited to share Cécred with fans.
She added: “Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
Beyonce’s mum Tina has worked as a fashion designer, and she previously revealed her famous daugher had “maybe 150 costumes” made for her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ that ended up unworn.
Speaking on US TV show ‘Sherri’ last year, she said: “She still has maybe 150 costumes that she hasn’t worn, but every night she did at least four to five new costumes.
“Actually, she told me she wanted to have more than one stylist. I actually hired four people — it would have been impossible. We had over 600 costumes to choose from.”

Miley Cyrus wore custom Gucci underwear at Grammys

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus wore custom Gucci underwear at the Grammy Awards.
The 31-year-old singer had everyone laughing as she cheekily joked she had “forgotten” to wear anything underneath her racy dress at the ceremony on Sunday (04.02.24), but now she’s clarified the situation.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), she wrote: “I was only kidding…. I had on matching custom @gucci panties.
“Thank you for the head to toe chocolate custom couture Sabato xoxo you don’t forget a thing.”
The ‘Flowers’ hitmaker won the record of the year prize for her massive hit, as she beat the likes of Billie Eilish, SZA and Taylor Swift to take home the trophy.
During her acceptance speech, Miley said: “This award is amazing, but I really hope that it doesn’t change anything, because my life was beautiful yesterday.
“Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy but everyone in this world is spectacular, so please don’t think that this is important. Even though it is very important, right guys?”
After thanking her team and loved ones, she quipped: “Thank you all so much. I don’t think I forgot anyone. But I might have forgotten underwear. Bye!”
Back in 2021, Miley was asked to become the face of Gucci’s Flora Gorgeous Gardenia perfume, but she initially thought the brands creative director Alessandro Michele was making a “mistake”.
She told Interview magazine at the time: “I had on these glasses and, like, a big Gucci hat and all black and I was telling him, ‘You know, I always know when something is right for me and I don’t think I’m the right girl.
“I think you made a mistake. I don’t think that I represent the Flora Fantasy. I think I’m very heavy.'”
She added: “Alessandro saw me in this soft, vulnerable, light, whimsical state that I couldn’t see.”

Travis Kelce gives verdict on Taylor Swift’s Grammys outfit

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce thinks Taylor Swift “killed it” with her Grammy Awards outfit.
The NFL star, who will be stepping out for the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl this month, is known for his own fashion sense and he was impressed with his girlfriend’s look at the prestigious event over the weekend.
Taylor stepped out in a white floor length dress with a thigh high split, completed the look with black opera gloves, black open-toe heels and a custom Lorraine Schwartz watch which she wore as a choker.
Speaking to reporters in a press conference this week, he said: “oh, that was fresh I liked that.
“It’s all about the accessories when you go to an awards show like that. She killed it.”
In another clip shared by ESPN on TikTok, the 34-year-old sportsman also weighed in on the controversy surrounding his signature buzzed fade haircut.
He laughed: “Man, I got a good fade, if you need it. It’s a two on top, a nice high to mid fade with a taper on the back.
“But I didn’t invent that — I just asked for it.”
There was some backlash on social media after his current hairstyle was dubbed “The Travis Kelce”, and he failed to acknowledge the longstanding popularity of the cut in other cultures, including the Black community.
Now, he said: “It’s absolutely ridiculous. And to do it on February 1 [at the start of Black History Month] and throw me to the wolves like that.
“That was just messed up, man. I don’t want anything to do with that one.”
It turns out Taylor is a big fan of the style, and his barber Patrick Regan admitted despite the cut being around “for the past 100 years”, it’s a classic for a reason.
He told Fox News: “Taylor loves the haircut. She has watched me cut his hair a bunch of times and always compliments it after.”

The 32-year-old star – who is one of the most well-known models in the world – has revealed that she actually has a relatively simple make-up routine.
Emily told Marie Claire: “I don’t do foundation, but I use concealer. Hourglass is what I’ve been reaching for recently.
“I’ll use Kylie’s Mascara. They used it on me on set and it’s so fluffy. I feel like I don’t have to do that many layers.
“I love Charlotte Tilbury’s highlighter and contour. That’s how I bronze myself up.
“I use the Pat McGrath make-up stick and the freckle pen from TikTok – I really do love my freckles. My lips alternate, but I do love a good lip liner moment. Right now I’m using a MakeupForever one, but I really love the Rhode balms and all of the Pat McGrath lip glosses. There’s nothing like them.”
Emily insisted that her make-up routine isn’t very time-consuming at all.
The model said: “I can do it pretty quickly now – it’s all in all 12 products. So simple.”
Emily also revealed that she has a very straightforward fitness routine, which involves walking her dog around New York City.
She shared: “I live in New York City so I walk a lot. I have a dog and I don’t have a dog walker. Everyone thinks he’s a German Shepherd. He’s not. I’m a loser and I got his DNA testing. He’s 90 pounds, so he’s a big boy. I do have a little backyard area, but he needs a decent amount of walks.
“Then my son is 35 plus pounds and I carry that man around. He likes to be held and I love to hold him, but it’s getting serious.”
