Kendall Jenner is face of Tiffany and Co’s campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner is the face of Tiffany & Co’s spring 2019 brand campaign.
The 23-year-old model has announced that she will be one of the six iconic faces featuring in the luxury jewellers much-anticipated campaign, alongside Carolyn Murphy, Imaan Hammam, Mica Argañaraz and Fei Fei Sun, which celebrates individuality, personal style and self-expression.
And the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star admitted that the brand is “truly special” to her and she is a huge fan of their “wire bracelets”, which she has purchased for her own jewellery collection.
In a statement Kendall said: “The pieces I’m currently coveting from the Tiffany T collection are the wire bracelets. They layer beautifully with one another. I like how modern they are, yet they’re still delicate. Wearing them gives me a sense of confidence.”
“The Tiffany Blue Box is so iconic. It conjures up so many feelings of excitement and happiness–you know you’re getting something truly special from the moment you see it.”
And Carolyn Murphy, 44, admitted that the collaboration was an obvious choice for her because the jewellery brand reminds her of her “youth” and the “excitement” she felt when she was presented with an iconic Tiffany blue box.
She said: “To me, Tiffany means timeless, elegant and classic.Tiffany reminds me a lot of my youth. I remember the first piece of Tiffany jewellery I received: I was 16 years old and it was a locket, and I think I got a keychain at some point. I’ll never forget the excitement I felt upon first seeing the Tiffany Blue Box. That’s the best part–almost as exciting as the gift itself.”
The new campaign, shot by renowned fashion photographer Craig McDean, showcases the brand in a fresh and unexpected way by featuring the six famous faces in different portraits wearing various designs, including Tiffany’s T Collection.
Tiffany & Co’s Chief artistic officer said: “With modern sophistication, authentic energy and wit, the spring campaign beautifully highlights our brand icons.”

Hailey Bieber is launching beauty line

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber is launching her own beauty line.
The 22-year-old model – who is married to ‘Sorry’ singer Justin Bieber – has filed paperwork to release a line of cosmetics and skincare products under the brand name Bieber Beauty, according to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The ‘Drop The Mic’ host also filed for a trademark for ‘Hailey Bieber’ and ‘Hailey Baldwin’ last year, registering the names for clothing brands.
Hailey hasn’t given any clues of what the much-anticipated beauty and skincare line will entail, however she has previously admitted that her mother, Kennya Baldwin, instilled the importance of a good skin regime in her from such young age.
Opening up about her earliest beauty memory, she added: “Probably just rummaging through my mom’s makeup as a kid and trying to do my own makeup with things I found. My mom was always super big on moisturising, too.
“She would never let me get out of the shower or the bath without lathering me in lotion – I hated it, too – which I’m thankful for now because I have soft skin and, now, I don’t ever get out of the bath or shower without lathering lotion all over.
“I use a lot of oils, like coconut oil.
“I try to use things that I don’t think are going to be too harmful or fragrance-y.
“I prefer natural fragrances because your skin is the biggest organ of your body, so everything you’re putting into your skin is super important.”
Hailey is “crazy” about her skincare at night and has a specific routine that she follows every evening.
She added: “I’m starting to get better about wearing SPF every day – I was never really good at that. I’m crazy about my skin at night. Every night, it’s a routine.
“There’s never not been a scenario where I haven’t taken my makeup off before going to sleep.
“I could have been doing all of the things and I still would have managed to take it off.”

Kendall Jenner didn’t feel as ‘sexy’ as sisters

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner didn’t feel as “sexy” as her sisters when she was growing up.
The 23-year-old model – who has sisters Kourtney, 39, Kim, 38, Khloé, 34 and Kylie Jenner, 21 – is known for her 5ft10″ tall and slender frame, but she hasn’t always felt confident because she wasn’t as “curvy” as her female siblings, which made her think that she didn’t “fit in” for part of her teen years.
She told The Daily Telegraph: “My sisters are a lot curvier than me. They have boobs and I don’t have boobs. Growing up being this little twiggy girl, I saw my sisters and always thought ‘oh no am I supposed to be more sexy like them?’ I almost felt like I didn’t fit in for a part of my life”.
Kendall likes to keep her style bold and “adventurous”, and admitted that she likes to keep her wardrobe looks “fun” and “funky”.
She said: “[My style is] comfortable and also funky. I love to push boundaries. Style is meant to be fun and adventurous and I try my best to do that.”
Kendall is known for doing things “differently” when it comes to her siblings by keeping her private life under wraps, as she only confirmed she is dating NBA star Ben Simmons earlier this year, and the star insisted that she simply has a “different vibe”.
She added: “I’m not necessarily a lot like them. I like that I have a different vibe to everyone. I like to do different things. And that’s OK.”
The brunette beauty also praised her “female-heavy” relationships with her friends and family for making her feel “empowered” daily.
She continued: “We’re a very female-heavy, work-driven family. We all work really hard. It’s an empowering feeling to be able to give yourself a little gift that you know you’ll love for a long time. I love learning from other women and feeding off each other and supporting each other.
“Female relationships. To have women around me now – whether it’s friends or family – it’s super important for me.”

Olivia Wilde ‘never’ had ‘packed closet’

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Wilde has “never” packed her “closet” with clothes.
The 35-year-old actress began “getting depressed” when she found that consumers weren’t being educated about the problem of constantly purchasing new garments and not recycling them so was delighted to discover ThredUp, a fashion resale website for consumers to buy and sell secondhand clothing online.
She told US Vogue: “Over the past few years as I learned more about the fashion industry, I was getting depressed about everything we aren’t told when we purchase clothes. The inability to recycle blended materials, the constant pouring of items into landfills . . . that’s how I found ThredUp.
“I didn’t know about them before, but I was seeking out companies [that] are trying to combat this problem.
“I was never someone who had a packed closet, but I was certainly introduced to that when I started working in this business. Boxes and boxes of clothing would arrive, and it’s not stuff you’ve picked out carefully, it’s stuff people thought you might want, which is so lovely and generous . . . but yes, I was suddenly overwhelmed by stuff.”
The ‘Change Up’ star collaborated with ThredUp and her Conscious Commerce co-founder Barbara Burchfield on a 3,000-piece collection of secondhand T-shirts and sweatshirts, and Olivia insisted that she wants to teach her fans about the effect fast fashion has on the environment and help them commit to a “process” with their items.
She added: “We need to be responsible for the next stage of an item’s life. It’s something we, as Americans, have a really flimsy grasp on–what happens to things when we’re done with them. It blows my mind how conveniently we ignore the lifespan of an object. We’re just like, ‘I’m done with this, now it’s gone!’ I want every consumer to commit to a process with their clothing, like, Okay, this thing has come into my life and I’m choosing it because I value it, and I acknowledge that it isn’t just going to disintegrate when I’m done with it.
“If we can roll back the thinking on fast fashion and the desire for newness, then we can really make an impact on the enormous problem of landfills. It’s just a basic change in thinking.”

Naomi Campbell ‘blessed’ for 33 years in fashion industry

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell feels “so blessed” to have been in the fashion industry for 33 years.
The 48-year-old model has graced the covers of more than 500 magazines during her iconic fashion career, and now the star has taken to Instagram to thank her mother Valerie Morris and her friends and family for “believing in her dreams” and helping her to prove critics wrong after they said she would “only last 11 years” in the industry.
Captioning an image of herself, she wrote: “They said I would only last 11 years, but here I am today celebrating 33 years in the business of fashion! I feel so blessed and grateful to God. I never thought that there would be a day when I would even convey such a message on social media!
“To my beautiful mother Valerie Morris @valeriemorriscampbell I thank you for believing in the dreams of a 3 year old and letting me be me. Your love and support has kept me going through good and bad times. I love you mum.
“To my family and friends that have been with me on this incredible journey throughout these years, stuck by me through thick and thin , you know who you are and I thank you. (sic)”
Fashion icon Naomi has shown no signs of slowing down in the near-future, because she wants to “nurture the new and next generation” and will rest when “God wants” her to.
She added: “I go from plane to plane from city to city almost daily and I’m constantly working. My friends are always telling me to slow down and rest but I’m at a point in my career where my vision is crystal clear, and for now I’m on a mission. A mission to nurture the new and next generation. A mission to ensure that my industry – the fashion industry – is a place that’s diverse and of equal opportunity and I’m on a mission to change the narrative and perception of the great continent of Africa! I do believe that I will rest when God wants me to, but until then I’ll keep going! Love you all Loads Naomi (sic)”

Khloe Kardashian ‘humiliated’ during shopping trip

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian found it “humiliating” when she was taken to a separate floor from her sisters during shopping trips.
The 34-year-old TV personality co-created her inclusive label ‘Good American’ with her London-based business partner Emma Grede in 2016, which has just released a collection of dresses for the first time ever.
And now, Khloe – who has sisters Kourtney 39, Kim, 38, Kendall, 23 and Kylie, 21- insisted that when she was a “bigger size”, she would often be “ushered” upstairs to find garments that would fit, compared to her sisters who stayed on the “regular floor”.
She said: “I used to be a bigger size and I used to be ushered up all the way to basically the attic and my sisters could shop on the ‘regular’ floor and it was humiliating.
“We said if you want to carry our brand you have to carry the full-size range and not have the ‘plus sizes’ be in a different location.
“I don’t want anybody to be a cookie-cutter shape or size. And not everybody wants to be a size two.”
The golden-haired beauty also revealed that her brand – which range in sizes from XS to 4XL across apparel and activewear and 00 to 24 across denim – launched an exclusive summer collection of dresses to celebrate “every” woman.
She told PEOPLE: “We weren’t thinking about dresses but once we started venturing out to other categories it naturally took over.
“I’m so glad it did because I love these dresses so much. It’s really exciting to see where Good American has gone in two years.”

Anna Wintour: Duchess Meghan’s style is ‘inspiring’

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Wintour says Duchess Meghan’s style is “representative of a modern woman”.
The 68-year-old businesswoman has praised the royal – who is expecting her first child with Prince Harry in the coming weeks – and admitted her highly-coveted wardrobe choices bring “modernity” to the British monarchy.
Speaking at the 10th Anniversary Women In The World Summit in New York City, Anna said: “She’s really bringing modernity to the royal family in a way that is inspiring.
“I think the image that I have in my mind … the Duchess of Sussex walking down the aisle by herself, that to me that was representative of a modern woman.”
The fashionista also admitted she “bawled” at an airport when she read the news that Chanel’s former creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, has passed away in February at the age of 85.
She added: “I was in an airport reading all of the papers, the obituaries, sitting next to a very unfashionable man, in a checkered shirt, you know, and I just started to bawl.
“[The man] just started silently handing me kerchiefs. I said, ‘Thank you for being so kind’ and he said ‘Madam, the world has lost a great figure.’ Even he felt the loss.”
Anna says the late designer was an “exceptional person” and believes there will be no one else like him.
She said: “Karl was just this force. There was no one, there is no one like Karl; he was a completely exceptional person.”

Lara Worthington ‘treasures’ sleep at night

OHMYGOSSIP — Lara Worthington “treasures” her sleep at night.
The 31-year-old model – who was known as Lara Bingle before she married actor Sam Worthington in 2014 – says getting a solid snooze is an essential part of keeping her skin looking fresh and recharged, especially as she has her sons Racer, two and Rocket, four with the ‘Avatar’ star, which means her shut-eye can often be interrupted.
She said: “Without fail, I always have a warm shower before I go to bed followed by a blast of cold water for the last minute or so.
“I find it meditative plus it’s great for my skin and hair. The evening shower is like a final nod to the day, and some quiet time to myself.
“As bedtime approaches, I try to do the ‘no-screens’ thing but that’s hard seeing as we do so much on our phones, including reading.
“I like drinking a small cup of a relaxation or sleep tea. These are a great way to get to sleep without any day-after drowsiness.
“As a mother of two boys under four, my sleep at night is very treasured. For my skin, energy, focus and general mood I find a good night’s sleep means more now than ever.”
The blonde beauty always finishes her evening routine with a “cleanser” to wash off the day’s impurities, and swears by a “light moisturiser” every night because it allows her skin to “breathe”.
She told Vogue Australia: “I start my evening routine with a cleanser to wash off anything that was on my face for the day. At night, I usually opt for a light moisturiser because I think it’s important to let my skin breathe while I sleep. A good night’s rest is of course part of any good skincare regime – so sleeping on comfy and organic sheets helps that.
“Where possible, nothing makes me feel better than jumping in the ocean after a long-haul flight. And really early morning swims to conquer jet lag over the first few days of a trip. I try to eat well – a good mix of greens and grains and always eat at the usual meal times of where I am – it helps your body snap into the local time so you sleep better.”

Alessandra Ambrosio tries to avoid foundation

OHMYGOSSIP — Alessandra Ambrosio isn’t a “big fan” of foundation.
The 38-year-old Brazilian model has opened up about her morning beauty routine and how she often opts for a tinted moisturiser rather than a heavy coverage foundation to achieve her “natural and glowy” look.
She said: “Instead of using moisturiser, I use a tinted moisturiser, I’m not a big fan of foundation but if I have something special [to go to] I will obviously apply some. Brazilian beauty to me means natural and glowy, you get a little tan.”
The brunette beauty is “obsessed” with her lashes and keeping them long and separated and says she always wears eyeliner because it makes her eyes look “bigger”.
She said: “I love eyeliner I think it makes the eyes bigger. I’m obsessed with lashes but mine are very short so it’s kind of annoying. [I use] a metal separator and I’ve been using it forever to make them [my lashes] go in the direction you want.”
And Alessandra – who hung up her Victoria’s Secret Angel wings in 2017 – admitted that she still likes to “take care” of her skin, despite not walking in the lingerie giant’s prestigious fashion show, and always makes sure she is “nice and moist”.
She added: “Everything I use is very creamy – one of my friends a make-up artist says to say ‘Bonjour’ when I contour so I say ‘Bonjour’. And last step for the face is a facial mist to help keep the oil away.
“I’m Brazilian and I love showing my skin and being in my bikini and I was a Victoria’s Secret angel for almost 20 years and I did 17 fashion shows. “One of the biggest parts is taking care of your skin and I like to keep it nice and moist and shiny and glowy.”
Alessandra always makes sure to always start her skincare regime with a sheet face mask and jade roller to keep her skin fresh and plump first thing in the morning.
Speaking on Vogue’s ‘Beauty Secrets’ YouTube series, she continued: “If I have time and I have something special that I have to go [to], this is what I do. I like to start with my sanitiser that smells like lavender and a face mask, and a jade roller, it’s usually in my fridge and it wakes me up. Sun is a big thing for me, I live in my bikini, I’m from Brazil I always go to the beach so I always wear sunblock and I want to protect my skin.”

The 32-year-old twin sisters – who are the fashionistas behind their luxury label The Row – have partnered up with the American department store to sell their lower-priced contemporary range, named Elizabeth and James, and Mary-Kate has insisted that the partnership was an obvious choice because the brand offers “affordability” without sacrificing on the “quality” of garments.

Grace Kelly’s wardrobe to go on display at the Christian Dior museum.

OHMYGOSSIP — Grace Kelly’s wardrobe is set to go on display at the Christian Dior museum.
The late American actress had a deep relationship with the French fashion house throughout her illustrious career, and to celebrate the Hollywood star-turned-Monegasque royal’s 90th birthday, an exhibition will open its doors to the public later this month to celebrate Grace’s iconic style and enduring link to the brand.
The much-anticipated exhibit will showcase 85 beautifully-crafted dresses, which were from the Hitchcock star’s personal collection, and have been carefully preserved in the Monaco Palace since her tragic death in 1982 at the age of 52.
Fashion historian, Florence Müller, who is responsible for the much-anticipated exhibition, was given the opportunity to access to the palace’s archives and subsequently found that one third of Kelly’s total pieces were from Dior.
Speaking to WWD, Müller said: “Bohan perfectly understood her role: she needed to be stylish, but respectful of etiquette. Before Grace of Monaco, royalty remained a private affair: princesses weren’t seen in public as much, or photographed by the press. She represents a moment of change of etiquette, a real rupture.”
The ‘Rear Window’ actress wore the designer’s creations throughout her legendary career as an actress and also when she became the Princess of Monaco, after marrying Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956, including the gown she donned to her engagement ball held in New York’s Waldorf Astoria and the couture autumn/winter 1956 look she chose for her first official portrait as Princess Grace of Monaco.
‘Grace of Monaco, Princess in Dior’ will run from April 27 to November 17 at the Christian Dior Museum, 1 Rue d’Estouteville, Villa Les Rhumbs, 50400 Granville.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s style “definitely evolved” thanks to her husband Kanye West.
The 38-year-old reality star admitted that her outlook on fashion “changed enormously” after meeting the 41-year-old rapper, who introduced her to designers such as Riccardo Tisci and Alber Elbaz.
Speaking to People, she said: “My style has definitely evolved.
“When I met Kanye and he really started to bring me to Paris he introduced me to a bunch of people. I think one of the first people I met were [designers] Riccardo Tisci and Alber Elbaz.
“When I went to Montreal to the Mugler exhibit [in February] or when I went to the Alaïa exhibit with Mr. Alaïa [in 2014], I learned so much along the way from so many of the best people in the world. So my appreciation has changed enormously.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who has children North, five, Saint, three, and 15-month-old Chicago with Kanye – went on to explain that her interest in fashion was sparked by her mum Kris Jenner, 63, and confessed to raiding her mum’s wardrobe growing up.
She said: “When I was 16 whenever the time was coming for prom, I would go through my mom’s closet — it was always Mugler, Alaïa, Versace, Chanel — she had the best wardrobe.
“She would always be really generous and share her things with us, like I always wore her Alaïa dresses to parties.”
The brunette beauty added that she and her sisters – Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie and Kendall Jenner – still take pieces from their mum’s wardrobe.
She said: “To this day she saved so much of it and she’s given some really cool pieces to me and my sisters. That was such a fun time.”

Denise Richards has never used ‘botox or fillers’

OHMYGOSSIP — Denise Richards has denied using “Botox or fillers”.
The 48-year-old actress has a flawless ageless complexion but ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star has insisted that she has never sought a non-surgical procedure, and the biggest clue is that viewers can tell that her “face moves” on-screen in comparison to her Bravo co-stars.
She told The Daily Telegraph Australia newspaper: “I don’t do Botox or fillers. And when people watch the show, my face moves, so much that it is distracting actually. I am with these beautiful women who look flawless all the time and I don’t do that stuff.”
Denise opened about having had breast implants in the past but reiterated that she has had the same “nose and lips” throughout her career.
She continued: “It is funny to me on social media people are saying I have had so much plastic surgery. I have only done my boobs and I am very open and honest about that. I have had the same nose if people look it up, and the lips.”
The ‘Blue Mountain State’ star took to Twitter last week to address rumours surrounding cosmetic surgery after a troll wrote to tell her that she’s “f***ked” her “face up”.
The user wrote: “Who the heck is ur plastic surgeon – your face is f**ked up. I’m older than u… w no surgery, & look younger & better than u, even w no makeup on!!!!! (sic)”
And Denise simply replied that she “admired” their “confidence”.
She added: “You’re too kind… I actually haven’t touched my face. But good for you for looking younger and better. II admire your confidence (sic)”
