Pamela Anderson teases ‘many exciting things to come’ from skincare brand Sonsie

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson has teased “many exciting things to come” from her skincare brand Sonsie.
The 56-year-old model and her sons Brandon and Dylan Lee – who she has with ex-husband Tommy Lee – acquired the brand, and she has marked its first anniversary by showing off her glowing complexion and applying their products.
On Instagram, a makeup-free Pamela said: “@sonsieskin turns 1 year old today!
“Our little family is getting bigger and bigger and I’m so grateful for all of you who have joined us… Together, we are spreading a message of self-care and self-love around the world.
“We have so many exciting things in the works this year and I can’t wait to share!
“Be Sonsie… Be You!
“With love,
P.”
The blonde beauty recently said she wants everyone to “accept” their skin as it is.
The former Playboy cover star admitted she loves Sonsie because it’s all about not trying to fix imperfections and embracing natural beauty.
She told Vogue.com: “It’s about accepting yourself where you are right now. All of us have tried all sorts of different things—your friends are doing it, then you’re doing it.
“But I just came to a point where I felt like, ‘This is it. I just want to do me, keep my skin hydrated, and look after myself, but I don’t want to have to think about tomorrow. I want to think about right now. Live and how I feel in this moment.’”
Pamela has always wanted to “challenge beauty”.
She said: “I think that it’s always been part of my journey to challenge beauty.
“That’s what I like about Sonsie. It’s not false promises, it’s self-acceptance of yourself and where you are in this moment. Not beating yourself up about something, but just feeling a little more free.”
The former ‘Baywatch’ star has had multiple offers over the years to get involved with a beauty firm, but she “couldn’t” allow herself to associate with something that generated so much plastic waste.
Pamela – who also liked the brand’s vegan ethos – said: “Ever since the Baywatch days. But it just always felt like too much plastic. Whether it was shampoo or a pet line, or beauty more recently, all I could see was the plastic waste and I couldn’t do it.
“[Sonsie] just made the most sense to me out of all of the options in front of me.”

Kim Kardashian ‘trusts’ photographers to create a ‘different version’ of herself

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian trusts “certain photographers” to use their chosen glam teams for anything that isn’t her own brand work.
The Skims founder likes to allow the creatives to create “a different version” of herself when she is modelling for magazines and other brands, but she likes her personal makeup team when she’s doing stuff for her own companies, because she likes to keep it authentic.
In a video interview for Vogue, she said: “There’s certain photographers where I just know I’m gonna absolutely love it.
And then there’s certain photographers that I don’t need my specific glam team ’cause I always like, I always trust in the photographer to use the team that they’re comfortable with because I want a different version of myself.
If I’m shooting a Skin Beauty or Skims campaign, that’s like for me and that’s me.
So I want my team.
But if I’m shooting for just a photographer for any project,
I don’t hire the photographer and I don’t put it together for one of my brands.
I wanna see what they want from me and I wanna see something different.
And even if I don’t really like it and I’m not comfortable with how I look at it, I know someone will resonate with that and I know someone will wanna see a different side of me.”

The ‘Outer Banks’ star, 26, has confessed her beauty products are very “disorganised”, though she insists it’s “controlled chaos”.
The Revlon ambassador told marie claire Australia: “My beauty cupboard would probably send anyone else into a coma because it’s so disorganised. But it is a controlled chaos; I know where everything is.”
When it comes to beauty inspiration, the ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ actress looks to social media and her mother.
She said: “Social media, classic beauty icons, my mom (She’s the queen of self-care) and experimenting on my own. I see makeup as a tool for sell-expression; It’s truly about how i feel on the day.”
The model also explained how she can feels her “best self” both in glam and on makeup-free days when she’s prioritising her skin.
Asked when she feels most beautiful, she said: “When I check in with myself. Some days it looks like just [doing] skincare; other days it looks like high glam. It’s really just about doing what you can to feel your best self. Every day is different.”
When it comes to look after her skin during filming in the sunshine, Madelyn relies on sunscreen.
She said: “I often have to tweak my routine. It’s crucial to keep my skin hydrated and protected. I rely heavily on … (sunscreen), since we’re always in the sun. Deep conditioning hair treatments have also become my new best friend [on set].”

Elizabeth Hurley doesn’t follow ‘weird’ diets

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Hurley isn’t interested in “weird” diets.
The 58-year-old actress has “pretty simple” tastes and has always just eaten “very normal” meals, though she has recently given up things such as pre-packaged sandwiches after learning more about the harmful nature of ultra-processed foods.
She told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: “My tastes are pretty simple – I don’t drink weird green juices or anything like that.
“I’ve always watched what I eat, since forever. I’ve never wanted to eat processed food. Right back to my teens, I’ve always looked at the labels on food.
“[But I] didn’t really know the difference between ultra-processed food and processed food until quite recently.
“I cut all that out over a year ago … I just eat what I would say is very normal, which could be roast chicken, mashed potatoes and a couple of different vegetables. It’s definitely not anything new-fangled or weird.”
And the ‘Strictly Confidential’ star doesn’t have a strict workout regime.
She said: “I don’t go to the gym, but I’m very active … I don’t really sit still very much.
“We have a rule in our house that no one’s allowed to put the TV on until 6pm, so nobody sits around until leading up to supper. But I do a lot of gardening – that’s quite bendy-downy, picking stuff up!”
But Elizabeth stressed that she does look after her appearance.
She said: “I work for a cosmetic company, I work for fashion companies, I have my own fashion company, I’m in high definition on massive cinema screens.
“So it’s my business to make more effort … of course I do, it’s my bread and butter.”
The ‘Austin Powers’ star is much less “cavalier” than she used to be about throwing an outfit together and knowing it will “look great”.
She said: “Now I sort of plan it out a little bit more. You know, if I’m doing TV and I’ve got to sit in a chair, I don’t want the camera up my crotch.”

Hailey Bieber named new Rhode Skin Pocket Blush after her dog Piggy

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber has named one of her new Rhode Skin Pocket Blushes after her dog Piggy.
The 27-year-old beauty believes her Yorkie Piggy Lou gives off a “pink aura” – and so it was the perfect name for her product.
She told Vogue: “Piggy is a blonde Yorkie who just has so much attitude, pizzazz, and sass. She just has a strut and prance, and I just felt like she gives off this aura of pink. She’s just a little pink piggy.”
Another is Spicy Marg, which is her favourite summer tipple.
Hailey – who is pregnant with her first child with pop star husband Justin Bieber – explained how it “was giving vacation, summer, sunshine – and that’s the drink I think of when I think of all of those things. You can’t go wrong with a spicy marg.“
On not being able to drink alcohol whilst pregnant, she added: “A mocktail right now for me, though, for sure.”
It was a no-brainer for blush to be her next product.
She said: “I feel like it brings life to the face.
“And it does something for me—it makes me feel good.”
The Pocket Blushes – which will be available from June 20 – were two years in the making.
Hailey said: “I’ve been developing the Pocket Blush for two years.
“A completely different iteration was confirmed before this one, but I ended up scrapping and starting over. I would rather take my time than rush something and have it not be exactly how I want it to be.”
The new blushes being unveiled come after she shared a tutorial for “My Peachy Beachy Summer Makeup”.
The model and makeup influencer – whose hottest trends include glazed doughnut nails – spilled the secrets of her makeup look for the summer.
In a YouTube video, she shared: “It’s so glowy and moisturising and good for the skin barrier without being heavy.”
Hailey used the Peptide Glazing Fluid, Dolce Glow’s Contour Self-Tanning Sculpt and Glow, Hourglass’ Concealer, Hydrating Skin Tint and Translucent Powder.
She then applied her peachy shades of blush.
Not revealing the brand, she was teasing the unreleased Rhode product, adding: “I’m gonna go in with this sunburnt bronzy terracotta colour first.
“The other colour I’m going in with has a pinky-orange colour.”

Rihanna says creating hair line was ‘stressful’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna says working on her first haircare line was “a lot more stressful” than she thought it would be.
The 36-year-old pop star has ventured into the world of fashion and beauty in recent years with her hugely successful Fenty brand and she’s venturing into hair for the first time this summer as she launches her Fenty Hair range – and the singer insists she worked hard to get the formulation just right.
Speaking at the collection’s launch event in Los Angeles, Rihanna explained: “Creating a haircare line is a lot more stressful than I thought. Considering all hair types, considering all of the brands that I’ve been in love with my entire life, I’m thinking, ‘If it’s not better than this one, it can’t work’.”
She added: “Evolving as a woman and even as an artist, hair has been such a huge part of that and a reflection of whatever I’m feeling.
“So, it changes a lot and my hair goes through a lot. Making this brand, I had to consider all of those things.
“I want to look fly, but I want my hair to be healthy. How do I do that? All of my products need to strengthen and repair while I’m out just being fabulous.”
The collection launches on June 13 and includes The Rich One Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner and The Richer One Moisture Repair Deep Conditioner, as well as a repair treatment called The Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Treatment Bond Builder, The Protective Type 5-In-1 Heat Protectant Styler, The Gelly Type Strong Hold Gel, The HomeCurl Curl Defining Cream and The Controlling Type Hair Thickening Edge Control Gel.
Rihanna previously declared she wants to make sure her hair line is completely inclusive.
She told ‘Extra’: “I really don’t want to leave one customer behind … I wanted everyone to have a product they could meet when they come in touch with Fenty Hair.
“I wanted something for every hair style, every hair type, every lifestyle actually, because lifestyle is a really big part of how you address your hair – how much time you have, what kind of styles you wear, how often you wear them.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Miller took inspiration from her own wardrobe and redesigned some classic vintage pieces for her Marks and Spencer collection.
The 42-year-old actress has created a capsule collection for the British high street giant and she’s revealed every item is very much what she “likes to wear”.
She told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “There are about 20 pieces. Essentially, you could pack that range in your suitcase and you have a holiday wardrobe.
“It’s a combination of things from my own wardrobe and things that I wanted – vintage pieces that I redesigned. It’s very much what I like to wear.
“I do have an aesthetic.”
A statement from Marks and Spencer explained of the rage: “Introducing M and S x Sienna Miller. A limited-edition capsule collection designed by Sienna Miller and inspired by her own coveted wardrobe, her love of vintage and an iconic decade of style.

She previously said in a statement announcing the collaboration: “I have always had a genuine love for M and S – it’s a brand that is part of the fabric of British life and holds special associations for so many people,.
“Seeing the reaction to the autumn campaign that I fronted was phenomenal. To collaborate on a womenswear design project made total sense. I can’t wait to see what customers think of the collection.”

Dame Anna Wintour wants PM to embrace fashion

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Anna Wintour wants the next UK prime minister to take fashion seriously.
The legendary Vogue editor has weighed in on politics ahead of Britain’s general election on July 4 and she’s insisted that whoever ends up in Number 10 Downing Street must acknowledge the important role the fashion industry plays in the British economy and give the right support.
She told the Guardian: “I have not read what I assume will be the next prime minister’s stand on the arts but hopefully he can be convinced to support not only the arts organisations but also fashion in this country, which is such an important part of the economy …
“Over the years I have seen prime ministers host events at Downing Street and say a lot of the right things but I’m not sure how knowledgable they are about how many jobs the fashion industry creates in this country or how important it is to [London] in so many different ways.
“So I’m hoping whoever the next prime minister is will be very open to it … we can all lobby the government to do more”.
Anna went on to talk about the fusion of sport and fashion – seen in this summer’s ‘tenniscore’ trend – insisting the two areas have always been intertwined.
She explained: “It’s interesting over the years that I’ve worked with Vogue to see how sport has infiltrated really all of fashion. At Vogue we always embraced the world of sport and integrated it with the world of fashion just as we have done with musicians and theatre and film.
“I think fashion is so inclusive today and athletes are global superstars of today and tomorrow. It’s the right timing.”

Shay Mitchell can’t be without her Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara

OHMYGOSSIP — Shay Mitchell takes her drugstore mascara everywhere with her.
The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star would have her go-to Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara – which retails for just under $10 – with her if she was stranded on a desert island.
Taking part in a “what’s in my bag?” video for Vogue, she said: “I have mascara because if I was ever stuck on an island, I would say I would need to have mascara with me.”
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old actress recently revealed her travel collection was inspired by her children.
Shay – who has daughters Atlas, four, and Rome, 20 months, with partner Matte Babel – launched her BEIS Kids travel collection last year, and Shay admits that her children influenced the designs.
She told E! News: “When I would be packing for a trip, there were different things that, obviously, my daughter would gravitate towards.
“She wanted different colours. She wanted a smaller size, so it was more appropriate for her to carry.
“Over time, I was like, ‘Yeah, that makes sense. We should have rollers that are specific to kids that have certain features that they like.’ For example, we have a little whistle that’s on our backpacks. She definitely likes that a little too much at home. She’s just walking around blowing the whistle!”
Shay previously revealed that she launched BEIS Kids because she saw a “huge gap in the market”.
Speaking about her brand, the actress told ELLE: “I’ve always known that there was an entrepreneurial side to me, and I always wanted to get into business, but I had never been to school.
“I’ve had experiences with luggage where wheels would fall off and I’d get angry at myself for not spending more money to get a better bag.
“When I knew it was time to start my own company, I noticed there was a huge gap in the market: you either had super expensive companies with crazy bags that weren’t even functional, and on the other side of the spectrum, you had affordable bags that were ugly and not well-made.
“Basically, I wanted a line of affordable bags that had all the function I could dream up and look really good at the same time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra Jonas stars in a breathtaking documentary for Bulgari.
The 41-year-old actress – who is an ambassador for the Italian luxury fashion house – models the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, which the brand launched in honour of its 140th birthday, in the film, ‘An Emperor’s Jewel – The Making of the Bulgari Hotel Roma’, which is available on Amazon Prime Video, and showcases Bulgari’s luxury hotel in Rome.
Bulgari’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin commented “The project is a celebration of Italy‘s rich cultural heritage, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of all involved. The film will provide the audience with a unique insight into the Bulgari brand’s commitment to unparalleled luxury and sophistication.”

Naomi Campbell: ‘There won’t be another Gianni Versace or Vivienne Westwood’

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campell doesn’t think fashion will see the likes of Gianni Versace or Vivienne Westwood again.
The 54-year-old supermodel is the subject of an upcoming exhibition at London’s V+A museum and she was keen to use the retrospective to shine a light on all the “creatives” she has worked with over the years because she thinks the industry has changed a lot since the early days of her catwalk career.
She told the Evening Standard newspaper: “I also wanted to share with people the workmanship of all the designers I worked with over the years, and all those creatives I got to work with, some of whom are still with us and some are gone.
“You’re not going to have another Gianni Versace, another Vivienne Westwood, Azzedine Aliaia or Alexander McQueen. They were gems. These people were perfectionists. It’s a different time now.”
Naomi feels “honoured and blessed” to be the subject of the show but she admitted she felt a “lot of pressure” in telling her story in the right way.
She said: “I feel honoured and blessed. It’s been a lot of pressure, going through images I haven’t seen for 25 years. It brought back a lot of emotions, a lot of memories.
“A lot of stories come up, so there’s a lot of nostalgia.
” It’s the story of a woman trying to get her story across. I’m proud but I’m more interested in my kids knowing that this is their legacy too, as well as this being the legacy of my work. It’s about family too.”
Although Naomi was the first black woman to cover Vogue France and the first on the cover of US Vogue’s September issue, she admitted at the time it didn’t “register” how many boundaries she was breaking in her career, with things being particularly tough because the coveted slots weren’t always “confirmed”.
She said: “When you’re actually trying to break those barriers, you don’t really understand what’s happening. You don’t know what you’re doing, you’re just doing it. You don’t have time, and it didn’t register. I was just taking any opportunity.
“Never forget that when I was being offered all these covers, they were never guaranteed. They were always cover tries, so they could have easily not happened.
“Throughout the 1990s I was always doing cover tries, never guaranteed covers. That’s what it was like back then for a black woman. Nothing was ever confirmed. You were always waiting – did I get it, did I not?”

Katie Holmes hoping to launch beauty line

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Holmes is hoping to launch a beauty line.
The 45-year-old actress has branched out into fashion recently – launching her own collection with French brand APC – and Katie has now admitted she dreams of becoming the latest celebrity to produce her own cosmetics.
When asked about her future plans, she told the Sunday Times newspaper: “Absolutely, I would love to [launch a beauty line].”
Katie also opened up about her love of fashion, revealing she finds inspiration in everyday life.
The Hollywood star told the publication: “I really look at other people that have an innate sense of style. And I’m like, ‘Oh – that with that! OK, that’s cool.’ I’m always looking for inspiration.
“I like to mix and match classic pieces. I like vintage a lot. Living in New York City I have to have things that are practical and comfortable. The city influences my style.
“Usually I’m in ballet flats, sneakers, baggy jeans and a T-shirt. I like putting it together in a way that doesn’t look like you put it together.”
Katie’s collection for APC has been inspired by her own experiences, too. She explained: “Our T-shirts are pretty long, because it drives me crazy when you move and a T-shirt rides up.
“I remember the 90s as being about looking really simple and very natural. That’s what I wanted this collection to embody – pieces that are cool but not recognisable and can fit into your existing wardrobe seamlessly.”
To bring the collection to life, Katie dived into the brand’s archives in Paris to bring some classic 2000s style to a new generation.
In a message posted on the company’s website, she explained: “I love vintage and truly enjoyed stepping into the memories of A.P.C. garments of the past.
“Bringing the inspiration from collections from the early 2000’s and working to make them modern and relevant to the 2024 customer was such a joyful and satisfying experience.”

Dolly Parton wears ‘junk clothes’ around the house: ‘Just like everyone else…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton likes to wear her “slouchiest clothes” around the house.
The 78-year-old country music legend is known for sporting big hair, huge heels and glitzy dresses when she is performing or making public appearances but admitted that when she is at home she has “junk clothes” to put on, although she still relies on a pair of stilettos to reach the cabinets.
Asked what she wears around the house, she told E! News: “All the slouchiest clothes I have, like everybody else. I have my junk clothes that I’m comfortable in but I usually have a pair of high heels because I can’t reach by cabinets with them!”
The ‘Jolene’ hitmaker – who has previously claimed to have a different wig for every day of the year – was then asked if she would rather be seen without her hair or with a natural complexion and admitted that she hopes neither of those situations ever happen.
She said: “Lord, I hope to never get caught without either because that’s all part of it. Probably, without makeup!”
The ‘9 to 5’ singer – who has been married to Carl Thomas Dean since 1966 -is the godmother of pop megastar Miley Cyrus and in the late 2000s, she made a handful of appearances as Aunt Dolly on her Disney Channel sitcom ‘Hannah Montana’.
In the show, Miley played an ordinary schoolgirl who donned a long blonde wig to perform as the titular pop star at night, and some fans have labelled Dolly a “real-life” version of the character because of her wig-wearing.
Dolly was recently presented with the theory that her elaborate use of wigs and makeup allows her to live a double life like the character on the show.
She said: “I can see that, but who knows… it could be true.”
