Kristen Bell asks her Instagram followers if she should get a perm

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Bell has asked her Instagram followers if she should get her hair permed.
The ‘Frozen II’ star showed off the wavy look she was left with from taking her braided hair out after wearing a wig for an undisclosed acting role she’s been filming this week.
And she asked her 14.7 million followers whether she should get a perm so she can have it as her regular style.
Alongside a selfie of her crinkled locks, which she tagged her hair stylist Brian Steven Banks in, she wrote: “I’m in a wig for my current movie. When I take my braided hair out at the end of the week, this is what I get. And I am INTO IT. Do I need to get a perm??? In addition, yes. I am slightly cross eyed. Always have been, always will be. G’NIGHT! (sic)”
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old actress recently revealed she practises self-care to keep her “sanity intact”.
The ‘Good Place’ star – who recently released her CBD skincare line, Happy Dance – insisted self-care shouldn’t be “event-ised”.
She explained: “One thing I’ve learned during this pandemic is that I really like and need to take baths. The only time I am allowed to lock the door in my house is when I’m taking a bath … Self-care is not something to be ‘event-ised’.
“It’s something I need daily to keep my sanity intact. Self-care isn’t leaving the house for a manicure with your girlfriends once a month – that’s just leaving the house for a manicure with your girlfriends once a month.”

Heidi Klum launches casual Disney Villains collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum has launched her Disney Villains casual collection.
The 47-year-old model designed the unisex range of graphic t-shirts, hoodies, tunics and jogging bottoms, which feature her favourite Disney villains; Hades [‘Hercules’], Ursula [‘The Little Mermaid’], Maleficent [‘Maleficent’] and The Evil Queen [‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’].
The fun pieces are available to buy now over on Amazon Fashion only.
Heidi told WWD.com: “I’ve always been drawn to the Disney Villains characters — they’re iconic and we have all grown up loving them and their stories — so when the opportunity came about to collaborate with Disney on a casual collection, I knew I wanted to design pieces using my favourite Villains.
“They each have their own mysterious personalities and I used that inspiration, with modern design elements, to create something that felt both cool and comfortable.”
The Heidi Klum x Disney Villains collection follows the German beauty designing her own set of Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears last year.
The Disney fanatic was one of a host of famous faces – including Vera Wang, Karlie Kloss and Betsey Johnson – from the fashion world to team up with Disney Parks to launch an exclusive design of the iconic headbands, and she was delighted to unveil her sparkly design.
She captioned a photo of her wearing the ears: “Bedazzling the most famous ears in the world is like a dream come true for me. I am still pinching myself. To all Mickey and Minnie fans – I hope you love wearing them as much as I do! #DisneyParksDesignerCollection #AD @disney (sic).”
Heidi also uploaded a short video of her creative process and revealed that she sketched a “few designs” before choosing the sparkling bejewelled headband as her favourite.
She added: “I had so much fun designing for the #DisneyParksDesignerCollection. I was so inspired by Mickey and Minnie’s iconic style that I actually had a few designs in mind… it was hard to pick just one! However, I am thrilled that my blinged-out tiara ears will be released in September! Thank you @disney – it is an honor! #Ad (sic)”

Dame Helen Mirren wears make-up every day in lockdown

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Helen Mirren has put make-up on “every day” in lockdown.
The 75-year-old actress says she has made sure to make herself feel good by doing her glam and putting on “real clothes” when she’s been stuck at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Mirren told BAZAAR.com: “Every day, I got up put on really good make-up, fixed my hair, and got out of my pyjamas and into real clothes, not to go out in the world, but to be at home.”
The ‘Good Liar’ star loves to mix up her make-up and beauty products.
She said: “I’m not the sort of person who does the same thing every day.
“Some days I’ll wear a bright pink or red lip, and other days I’ll keep it minimal. And I’m always mixing up my moisturisers.”
And while many may assume the L’Oréal Paris spokeswoman uses all high-end make-up, Mirren revealed she actually treats herself with products from her local drugstore.
She said: “The drugstore is a place of wonderment for me. It’s a very inexpensive way to treat yourself. It’s my greatest indulgence.”
Meanwhile, Mirren and her husband, Taylor Hackford, also 75, made a pact to get as fit and healthy as possible.
She said: “My husband and I, because we’re both older, agreed we had to get as healthy as possible during lockdown.
“We both adopted our own exercise programs; I did yoga and he did pilates. It was a great opportunity to reset.”

Demi Lovato’s hairstylist reveals the meaning behind her dramatic new pixie haircut

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato’s new blonde pixie haircut is “a reflection of who she is” now.
The ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ singer’s long-time hairstylist, Amber Maynard Bolt, has revealed that the singer’s dramatic new hairdo is about her being able to “own” herself.
Amber told Page Six Style: “There is something about changing your hair so drastically that allows you to own yourself in a way you never thought!
“I’ve been doing Demi’s colour for almost 10 years now, so I’m no stranger to change with her! This is biggest yet. She is one of those rare individuals who can pull off almost any look.”
She added: “This look was a direct reflection of who she is and how she feels.”
The new hairstyle comes after Demi quipped about being “unengaged” as she hosted the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards.
The 28-year-old singer got engaged to ‘Young and the Restless’ star Max Ehrich in July, after just four months of dating, but the pair ended their engagement in September.
And during her opening monologue at the ceremony on November 15, the pop star joked about 2020 being “the longest three years of my life” amid the coronavirus pandemic, before going on to poke fun at her love life.
She said at the virtual ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica: “I am so excited to be here tonight because honestly this year has been the longest three years of my life.
“Don’t get me wrong, it started out amazing. I performed at the GRAMMYs and sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl. But then, COVID hit, and everything shut down.”
She added: “So I did what everyone else did, I went into lockdown mode, and got engaged.
“I got into painting, photography, meditation, tested the limits of post mates unlimited. Also, I didn’t know this could happen, but reached the end of Instagram four times. I binged seven seasons of ‘Pretty Little Liars’, got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert.
“So basically the same as everyone else.”

Tommy Hilfiger shares the secrets to his eponymous brand’s success

OHMYGOSSIP — Tommy Hilfiger says the key to his brand’s success is “always looking into the future”.
The 69-year-old designer was crowned Design Lead of the Year at the 2020 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Thursday (26.11.20).
And the founder of the premium fashion house has revealed that ensuring the brand is “eternally youthful” and “a step ahead” of their competition, whilst also appealing to different cultures are the ingredients to their longevity.
Speaking to GQ Magazine, Hilfiger said: “I think I am where I am because I’m always looking ahead, always looking into the future, trying to keep a step ahead of my competition and staying relevant by keeping the brand eternally youthful.
“In order to survive you need to be global, but you need to have an understanding of what that really means. The brand needs to work in Dublin and Tokyo and London and Milan, but it needs to respond to those cultures too.”
Looking to the future, Hilfiger believes that runway fashion shows are “a thing of the past” and will be replaced with a “digital virtual reality”.
He said: “I would really like to push the brand forward into the digital and virtual world.
“I don’t necessarily believe in runway fashion shows any longer, as I think they’re a thing of the past. The future of fashion is changing rapidly, although I really believe that it will always be the product that is first and foremost, as the product has to be desirable. The way in which our brand is shown and marketed will change dramatically in the coming years, as we’re entering a digital virtual reality. This is the metaverse, a world where we’re all going to be shopping 24/7 on our mobile devices.”
And Hilfiger insisted that brands need to focus on sustainability as the younger generation care a great deal about reducing their carbon footprint.
He added: “But we need connection, too, and we need our customers to believe in what we do, because the customers are quite rightly demanding. The younger consumer now cares about sustainability, about transparency, cares very much about the message they’re portraying as a result of what they’re wearing. They’re upcycling, recycling, buying vintage, buying used and there’s a whole different mentality today.”

Lucy Boynton likes to ‘have fun’ and ‘experiment’ with beauty

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Boynton likes to “have fun” with beauty.
The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ actress – who is the face of Chloe’s Rose Tangerine perfume – has explained that beauty to her is about “experimentation and the opportunity for expression”.
She explained: “I take a pretty light and pragmatic approach to the whole beauty thing. I just do whatever works for me and have fun with it. I think the conversation within and around the beauty industry is changing more and more, and hopefully becoming less prescriptive and more open to eclectic interpretation. One of the best bits about working with artists like Jo Baker is the experimentation and the opportunity for expression. Learning to have fun with it, utilising it in a way that feels good and empowering, and realising that there are no boundaries or rules to it all has been exciting.”
The 26-year-old star – who is in a relationship with ‘No Time To Die’ actor Rami Malek – added that it’s important that she takes time out to carry out her self-care routine.
Speaking to Refinery29 for their Shelf Care series, she said: “My beauty routine was already pretty simple before the start of the pandemic, but I guess it became more orientated around feeling well, as opposed to doing it for an aesthetic outcome. I feel better in every way when I’m looking after myself properly, so I make a conscious effort to make some form of self-care habitual. The way I do so varies, but in terms of beauty, even just making that time to nurture yourself and take time away from everything else feels important, and can’t help but be therapeutic.”
And, whenever Lucy is feeling “stressed”, she “escapes” to the bath tub for a long soak with some Epsom bath salts.
She added: “As soon as I get too stressed, I escape to a bath. It just forces you to slow down, pause, and escape your phone. Unscented Epsom bath salts, a Le Labo candle, a glass of wine, and a book or magazine is the dream bath scenario. Olaplex No.3 treatment is a must, and I leave it on as long as I can. Christophe Robin’s blue hair mask is another must to take the warm tones out of my blonde — it also leaves your hair so silky. I love Virtue’s shampoo and conditioner, then Weleda Wild Rose Body Moisturiser for after.”

Designer Daniel W Fletcher: Harry Styles had a huge impact on my career

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel W Fletcher says he owes a lot of his success to Harry Styles.
The 30-year-old fashion designer – who runs his eponymous brand Daniel w. Fletcher – was contacted by the ‘Golden’ singer’s stylist, Harry Lambert, in 2015, asking to buy all of his boxy shirts from his graduate collection.
And, Daniel – who was crowned Breakthrough Designer at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Thursday night (26.11.20) – admitted he wouldn’t be where he is now without the support of the One Direction star.
Speaking to GQ magazine, he said: “Harry had a huge impact on my career. At 24 years old I couldn’t believe what was happening.”
Daniel – whose clients also include pop stars Sam Smith and Troye Sivan – and Harry, who recently rocked a dress in Vogue, share a passion for blurring the lines between gender and fashion.
‘13 Reasons Why’ star Tommy Dorfman said of Daniel’s latest collection: “There’s a soft femininity about the clothes that aligns with my spirit – that sharp tailoring and those cinched waists in his AW20 collection.
“It’s a point reiterated by model Jack Guinness: “He’s a truly modern designer in his approach to fabric and cut, creating feminine menswear for all genders. There’s a subtle strength in the vulnerability of his work. I love wearing [his designs] on the red carpet or to a gay dive bar.”
Daniel studied menswear at the prestigious Central Saint Martins college in London, where Alexander McQueen attended.
However, before studying fashion, Daniel – who also attended Kingston University – was planning on becoming an actor.
He recalled: “I always wanted to be an actor.
“It wasn’t until I enrolled on an art foundation course at Kingston University at 18 that I decided I wanted to make clothes. Growing up in a small town in Cheshire, I didn’t think it was a viable career.”
The GQ Men of the Year Awards also awarded the Design Lead accolade to Tommy Hilfiger.

‘This is ridiculous’: Cardi B shows off husband Offset’s extensive sneakers collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B says her husband Offset’s sneakers collection is “ridiculous”.
The ‘WAP’ hitmaker took to her Instagram Stories to show the Migos star’s 3,200 pairs of shoes and claimed she only has “like 500” of her own.
Cardi – who has two-year-old daughter Kulture with Offset – said in the clip: “This is ridiculous.
“Guys when I tell you this man owns like 3,000 pairs of shoes. 3,200 pairs of shoes. And I think I own like 500 shoes. This man got so much f***** sneakers it’s not even funny. Jesus.”
Offset insisted that what was on camera is “only a quarter” of his collection.
Meanwhile, Offset recently defended his wife’s Hermés Birkin handbag stash.
A viral tweet posted recently claimed that the iconic handbags are “losing their value” because Black female rappers make them less “exclusive”, and Offset hit back at the trolls, insisting “black people having access to luxury shouldn’t be a debate”.
He wrote online: “Stop letting people on the internet tell ya’ll who can get a Birkin at the store, and how many Birkin’s you can get. Black people having access to luxury shouldn’t be a debate … by the way hip hop starts the trends.”
Cardi had slammed the racist comments.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker fumed: “I’ve been seeing this tweet right. It had me and it had other female rappers on it. They were talking about if we could get Birkins from the Hermés store and they were also saying how we depreciate the value of a Hermés Birkin bag. I find that really interesting because, first thing first, I definitely could get a bag. Actually, I got four bags today from the Hermés store … Why are you questioning if Black women could get a bag from the Hermés store; y’all don’t do this to these white celebrities. So why is it that y’all gotta be asking us? What the f***? It just makes you want to brag like, ‘B**** do you know who the f*** you’re talking to?’ But no, I’m not even going to take it there.”

Amber Valleta teams up with Karl Lagerfeld on eco-friendly accessories line

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Valleta is set to release an eco-friendly accessories collection with Karl Lagerfeld.
The 46-year-old supermodel-and-actress has joined forces with the iconic fashion house on a range of sustainable pieces made from cactus leather and recycled cotton, which will launch in spring 2021.
It includes the signature K/Kushion bag made with environmentally-friendly materials.
Amber worked with the brand’s late founder – who passed away at the age of 85 in February 2019 – many times over the years as Lagerfeld was the creative director of Chanel, one of the many brands she has been the face of over the years.
And she burst into tears of joy when she saw their names together on the line’s branding.
She told WWD.com: “Karl and I had so much history together, and I’m excited to be partnering with his namesake brand for a project that’s so meaningful to us both.”
The collection also includes a reusable water bottle, zip wallet, card holder, face mask and laundry bag.
What’s more, profits made from the sale of the K/Kushion bags will go to The Fashion Pact initiative, which was launched by the Parisian luxury goods service Kering in August 2019, and is “a global coalition of companies in the fashion and textile industry”, who are “all committed to a common core of key environmental goals in three areas: stopping global warming, restoring biodiversity and protecting the oceans.”
Pier Paolo Righi, chief executive officer of Karl Lagerfeld, said the sustainable collection with Amber has been in the pipeline since 2015.
He said: “We were not ready back then, but continuously kept this objective on the radar.”
Righi heaped praise on the ‘Hitch’ star for her “great insights” and said they have a “shared passion for environmental sustainability”.
He added: “Amber and Karl worked together for many years, and she is a true member of the Karl Lagerfeld family.”

Tom Ford feels ‘too vulnerable’ in knitwear

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Ford “doesn’t feel well” in knitwear.
Despite his eponymous brand selling vast quantities of knitted garments, the 59-year-old designer has admitted he doesn’t like wearing softer materials, like sweatpants, because they make him feel “too vulnerable”.
Asked if he has a “lockdown uniform” and if it’s a three-piece suit, Ford told The Times newspaper, he said: “I have. I don’t find them particularly flattering. Knitwear is a big part of my collection and has sold really well throughout this pandemic. I don’t feel well in knitwear, it’s a little too soft for me. I feel better in something a bit harder. I feel too vulnerable in sweatpants.”
Elsewhere, Ford opened up about losing his father Thomas in March, and how he didn’t cry until he had to phone up his staff to let them know they would have to be furloughed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
He said of his parent’s death at the age of 88: “I was and still am deeply sad, but I didn’t cry until I had to get on the phone and give a talk to everyone in the company to let a lot of them know they were going to have to be furloughed.
“I burst into tears. That part has been incredibly hard. And I’m one of the lucky ones. It has been so hard on so many people. Everyone has had to look inward, evaluate their lives and reassess what’s important.”
Ford – who has eight-year-old son Jack with husband Richard Buckley – admitted it has been a tough time as he opened up about how his business has adapted to survive during the global health crisis, including testing everyone before fittings.
He said: “I’ve had to furlough and let so many people go. It has been brutal. As a non-essential business I’m not allowed to work in my office. I’m not allowed to have an atelier. Our sewing people are sewing from home. When the clothes are ready we set up a tent in our parking lot, because we have to be outside. We have a nurse on site who tests everyone before we even have the fittings. And it has not let up.”
Fortunately, Ford has been able to spend more time with his son and came to realise that he doesn’t need to be at red carpet events, which he hates attending.
On the positives, he said: “Jack has only seen another child three times in the past eight months. But I get to see him all the time. We have lunch together every day. So there are great things too. I’ve learnt that, as a company, we don’t need to travel quite as much as we did. I don’t have to go to any of these social red carpet events. Personally I hate them.”

Frida Giannini slams changes in fashion industry and the focus on popularity

OHMYGOSSIP — Frida Giannini has criticised the fashion industry for focusing on popularity.
The former Gucci creative director took part in a panel at the Milan Fashion Global Summit this week, and she didn’t hold back as she took aim at how some brands in the industry have become focused on how many social media followers a fashion designer has over their suitability for a role.
Frida – who was at fashion house Gucci between 2006 and 2014 – is quoted by WWD.com as saying: “I feel a bit disoriented.
“There are conversations going on about a new designer to choose for a brand based on the number of followers that this person has on social media.
“If you are selected because of your followers, the music you listen to or the people you have seated front-row, I don’t really know what to tell you, but I wonder how long you are going to last in that position?”
The 48-year-old Italian fashion designer is also not a fan of how some big labels overemphasise their logos on pieces.
She said: “When your customers have bought your T-shirts, your sneakers, your duffel bag, what else can they buy?”
“When I was at Gucci I was using the logo in a very discreet way, matching it with precious skin, they were telling me I was too commercial. And now, there is this overexposure of logos.”

Gigi Hadid voices her support for Somali model Halima Aden over her regrets over Hijab use in fashion shoots

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid has thrown her support behind Somali model Halima Aden after she spoke out about her regrets of not wearing a Hijab in fashion shoots.
The 23-year-old fashion model took to her Instagram Stories this week to reflect on the various shoots she has done over the years, including her 2017 Arabia cover, and admitted she “made mistakes” when it came to representation of the head covering worn by Muslim women.
Alongside the cover, she wrote: “This wasn’t ‘representation’, this was mockery. I was too young and naive to see it back then.”
She said: “Thanks to Covid-19 and the break away from the industry, I have finally realised where I went wrong in my personal hijab journey.”
Halima admitted she wished she’d always worn her black Hijab like she did for her first campaign for Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty.
She wrote: “I wish I never stopped bringing my black hijab to set. Because the minute I got comfortable … well, let’s just say I got too carried away.”
And on her American Eagle Outfitters campaign where she had a pair of jeans on her head, she added: “As if we ever needed these brands to represent hijabis. They need us. Never the other way around. But I was so desperate back then for any ‘representation’ that I lost touch with who I was.”
And following the post, supermodel Gigi – whose mother, Yolanda Hadid, is Dutch and father, Mohamed Hadid, is Palestinian – has said she is “proud” of her friend for speaking out on her regrets in order to “get back on track with what feels genuine”.
The 25-year-old beauty wrote on her Instagram Stories: “Everyone should go check out @Halima’s story right now.
“It is so important, as a hijabi or not, to self reflect and get back on track with what feels genuine to us – It’s the only way to feel truly fulfilled.
“I learnt through therapy once that if we are assertive with our boundaries, it does not mean that we are ungrateful for opportunity, and it will lead to an end result that does not feel hollow, one where we do not feel take advantaged of.
“Learning that helped me so much.
“My sis Halima, you have inspired me since the day I met you and you continue to make me proud.
“Keep shining, big love. (sic)”

Tom Ford releases 002 Ocean Plastic recycled watch

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Ford is selling a watch made out of 35 bottles’ worth of recycled plastic.
The 002 Ocean Plastic wristwatch, including it’s braid strap, is made of plastic found in the ocean, while the packaging is also made of recycled paper.
Ford said: “The Tom Ford customer is accustomed to a very high quality and luxury product. And in my opinion, ethical luxury is THE greatest luxury of all. Meanwhile, In March, Ford and Anna Wintour came together to support fashion designers through the coronavirus pandemic.
The editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine and the chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America repurposed the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund – which was initially set up in the wake of the terrible events of 9/11 – to help those fashion houses affected by COVID-19.
Explaining their new initiative, they shared: “A Common Thread is a storytelling initiative spearheaded by Vogue and in collaboration with the CFDA, to raise both awareness and needed funds for those in the American fashion community who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund was originally established as a response to the tragedy that took place on 9/11. Now, as we are all faced with new challenges, it is being repurposed to – in addition to raising and distributing funds to those who have been most affected – highlight designers and tell the stories of those who work tirelessly behind the scenes across the country in our incredibly strong and vibrant fashion industry. Parameters of the fund are still being established, and applications will be available on the CFDA website beginning on Wednesday, April 8th. The fund is not limited to former Fashion Fund participants or members of the CFDA.”

Jennifer Garner pokes fun at her childhood haircut

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Garner has poked fun at her $8 childhood haircut.
The ’13 Going On 30′ star took to Instagram to share a throwback snap of her extremely short bob-style cut she had when she was a child, and quipped that: “Sometimes the $8 dollar haircut worked, and sometimes it didn’t.”
Ahead of Thanksgiving on Thursday (26.11.20), the 48-year-old actress said she is thankful to her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, who she works with at hair brand Virtue Labs, for working his magic on her luscious locks.
Jennifer captioned the old school snap: “This week I’m grateful for…..@hairbyadir.
#SometimesThe8DollarHaircutWorked
#SometimesItDidnt
#WithVirtue, of course (sic).”
The mother-of-three – who has Violet, 14, Samuel, eight, and 11-year-old Seraphina with ex-husband Ben Affleck – became a brand ambassador for Virtue Labs last year.
She said in a statement at the time: “First of all, my hair loves this stuff, the results have been amazing.
“But when the innovative science behind the products was explained to me, I really got excited. I mean, who knew science could give you your best hair?!”
Meanwhile, the ‘Peppermint’ star recently revealed she’s been keeping fit amid the coronavirus pandemic with online dance cardio classes.
The Hollywood star has been following The Limit’s HIIT and cardio workouts and called the dance classes the “happiest, hardest workout of the week”.
She wrote on Instagram: “Every morning of quarantine I have subjected myself to the evil, wonderful ways of @thelimitfit. @bethjnicely is sweet but, as they say, a psycho. We have done mostly HIIT workouts, but occasionally, I get invited to the cool kids’ club and join Beth and @suttonlenore’s hour of dance cardio craziness. Every Saturday these ladies take their show on the road for donation-only zoom Dance Parties (so far, they have given over $23,000(!!) to @colorofchange, @grassrootslaw, @savethechildren).
“I will be along for the ride and could use the moral support – please dance it out with us, I promise you will hate me and love me for inviting you! Sign up @thelimitfit. PS I take breaks, I don’t remember steps, but it is still the happiest, hardest workout of the week. XXX (sic).”

Stacey Dooley isn’t that ‘into’ make-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Dooley is not that “into” make-up and always goes for a “clean skin, and hair brushed out” look.
The 33-year-old documentary maker might have hosted ‘Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star’, but the flame-haired beauty has admitted she’s more of a skincare lover and prefers to keep her make-up as natural as possible.
Speaking to Marie Claire magazine, she said: “I am really into skincare, not make-up at all. I am very much the sort of ‘clean skin, and hair brushed out or in a slick pony’ type of girl. To keep my skin healthy I always double cleanse at night. I really love all the stuff from French supermarkets, like Avene and Nuxe’s oil. Their price points are fair and they are quite simple. I also use a coconut oil on my lips and under my eyes. I should be more militant with the SPF, that is what everyone says. So why am I not listening? Tomorrow I will start.”
Stacey is the new face of Clairol’s Nice’n Easy hair colourant and she admitted she finds it “hysterical” because she doesn’t see herself as a glamorous person.
She said: “It’s quite self deprecating as I am probably the most unglamorous person that I know. So it’s sort of quite hysterical that I have found myself in this situation, but here we are.”
Elsewhere, the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ champion – who is in a relationship with professional dancer Kevin Clifton – explained that there is more to beauty than having a “flawless” exterior.
Asked what beauty means to her, she said: “I know every time I say this, it is like a disclaimer as I know it sounds really cheesy and earnest. But I think the older you get, it is less about perfection and symmetry and flawlessness. It is more about how you see yourself, how you treat other people and how you carry yourself. There are so many variations of beauty. I meet so many women and the minute they walk in the room you feel their energy and I think – she’s beautiful. I think beauty changes and the importance of it changes the older you get.”
