Mark Wahlberg expanding Municipal brand

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wahlberg is planning a major expansion of his Municipal clothing brand.
The 53-year-old Hollywood actor launched the company back in 2019 to provide “style-driven apparel/accessories” focusing on “comfort” and “performance” and after previously opening a pop-up store in New York City last year, the company has now thrown open the doors to its first stand alone store in Los Angeles – and there are plans to open another branch in Carlsbad, California in August with 10 more to follow in the next two to three years in cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix, Atlanta, New York and Wahlberg’s hometown of Boston.
WWD.com also reports the movie star will be adding a line of grooming products – including shaving cream, after shave, moisturiser, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand lotion – in the autumn and it will be followed by an eyewear line in 2025.
The brand currently includes staples such as T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, underwear, shorts and outerwear and recently launched a womenswear collection all priced between $30 and $180.
Municipal made its first foray into footwear last year with the launch of the Origin sneaker and it was followed by a slider in 2024.
Wahlberg previously told Fox News: “Everything that we do is aspirational. It doesn’t matter where you come from, where you start, there isn’t anything you can’t accomplish if you’re willing to do the work.
“It’s how I live my life every day. Everyone who’s a part of Municipal … for us, it’s all about the dream, the plan and the hustle, making things happen.”
His business partner Harry Arnett added: “I mean, this has been 15 years in the making. The very first time that Mark and I ever met, we started talking about the need to do a brand that was going to totally change the game with fashion, cool-factor style, but also the stuff you just wear everywhere …
“Mark’s constantly multitasking, in the gym, outside of the gym, everywhere you go, stuff that goes seamlessly and performs better than anything else, and that was kind of our dream for Municipal. And here we are 15 years later, standing in the Municipal store, it’s pretty surreal.”

Paris Hilton started ‘preventative skincare’ regime aged eight

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Hilton started her “preventative skincare” regime at the age of eight.
The 43-year-old hotel heiress has revealed her mum Kathy began teaching her about the importance of staying out of the sun when she was a child and went on to encourage her to take up a “20-step routine” to keep her skin in tip-top condition.
Paris told Vogue.com: “My mom started teaching me at eight years old; the first lesson was to stay out of the sun. Then it was all about cleansers and eye creams, neck cream, and serum, this whole 20-step routine that I’ve always loved.
“I’m so grateful to my mom for teaching me that because I’ve been doing preventative skincare since I was eight, it’s pretty epic.”
The socialite went on to talk about her fashion regrets and says one style she will leave in the past is her pixie crop hair cut. She added: “My Tinkerbell haircut was very in back then but when I look at it now, I am like ‘it was just so short!’ I don’t think I would ever do that again.
“I love a cute bob, but that was just something else.”
Paris recently ventured into the beauty world by creating her own fake tan line with Tan-Luxe – insisting she wanted to create a tanner that included all the benefits of a skincare product.
She told WWD: “So many trends I started were done in an organic, real way. They were just things I loved. My mom always taught me to stay out of the sun, and that’s why I discovered spray tans.
“Now, we have a product that has such a beautiful colour, really works and is like putting on skin care that makes you tan … “I’m an expert on getting tanned, but Tan-Luxe are the experts in tanning products. We put our creative minds together to come up with what we think is the future of tanning.”
She added: “It’s very different from any other product lines out there for tanning.”

Balmain’s Lion King Disney collaboration

OHMYGOSSIP — Balmain is collaborating with Disney on a ‘Lion King’ collection.
Creative director Olivier Rousteing, 38, has always been a huge fan of the Disney classic and jumped at the chance to work with the company on a fashion collection to mark the 30th anniversary of the animated movie.
Speaking to WWD, he said: “I wanted to approach it in a couture way.
“Obviously, ‘The Lion King’ is about Africa, so it felt like a reference to my own origins.
“No matter where you come from, choose where you want to go.”
For the Disney collaboration, he worked with three emerging artists: South African painters Nika Mtwana and Cassius Khumalo, and Cameroonian artist Enfant Précoce.
He said: “It’s really important to show the strength of Africa, from the past and into the future.”
Tasia Filippatos, president of Disney Consumer Products, said the collaboration was “fueled by powerful creative synergies as well as Olivier’s personal journey”.
Tasia explained: “The collection is deeply rooted in the story of ‘The Lion King,’ and Olivier’s understanding of the film’s emotional and visual impact served as the driving force behind what we created together.”
Olivier – whose discovery that he is of Somalian Ethiopian descent was detailed in the 2019 documentary ‘Wonder Boy’ – added: “I’m a French citizen, but my blood is obviously African. I think the beauty of France is that you can create your own life here, and be part of the country no matter where your blood is from. So I think it’s a really important timing.”

Hailey Bieber can’t resist picking at spots

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber’s worst beauty habit is picking at her spots.
The 27-year-old model – who launched her Rhode skin and make-up brand in 2022 – has revealed she can’t resist digging her nails into her blemishes so she has to cover them with pimple patches so she’s not tempted to scratch them and make them worse.
She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “I cannot leave a pimple alone for the life of me. Pimple stickers have helped though.
“If it’s covered with something cute, I can at least be like ‘okay, okay, okay’. And they really do help heal them faster.
“Even recently, I had a sleepover with my best friend and I was like, ‘Do you ever get a pimple and pick at it?’ and she said, ‘No, because I don’t pick my skin’.
“I was shocked; she is so elite and disciplined with that, I should take note!”
She went on to reveal her skincare has changed a lot as she’s grown up but she still suffered from bouts of perioral dermatitis – which can cause pustules and scaly patches around the mouth.
Hailey added: “I feel like my skin has habits and I know more now about what triggers it and what doesn’t. I’ve learned so much more about my skin now being 27, in comparison to when I was 20.
“I do have perioral dermatitis, which gets triggered easily for me and can look a bit like breakouts. So, I’ve definitely had a journey with my skin and I’m still very much on it.”
Hailey recently launched her new Rhode Skin Pocket Blushes and revealed she named one of the shades after her dog Piggy.
She believes her Yorkie Piggy Lou gives off a “pink aura” – and so it was the perfect name for her product.
She told Vogue: “Piggy is a blonde Yorkie who just has so much attitude, pizzazz, and sass. She just has a strut and prance, and I just felt like she gives off this aura of pink. She’s just a little pink piggy.”
Another shade is Spicy Marg, which is her favourite summer tipple. Hailey – who is pregnant with her first child with pop star husband Justin Bieber – explained how it “was giving vacation, summer, sunshine – and that’s the drink I think of when I think of all of those things. You can’t go wrong with a spicy marg.”

Trinny Woodall’s skincare tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Trinny Woodall has warned of the important of wearing sunscreen.
The 60-year-old founder and CEO of skincare brand Trinny London has shared her top tips for maintaining a youthful complexion and insisted that SP5 is the first step.
She told the June issue of Ireland’s VIP magazine: “If you have pigmentation try Vitamin C. 90 per cent of visible skin ageing happens in daylight – even through clouds and windows. A SPF 50 is the only thing in all of this that is actually preventative skincare.
“Anyone with any skin sensitivities should not use Glycolic acid, it will just make your skin a bit red. People think red is good but it’s not necessarily a good thing.”
She also warned that microneedling should only be done “at night and then use a peptide”.
Trinny explained: “You’ve created channels and you don’t want to put really strong ingredients in. You want to put things in that will hydrate and repair and peptides are amazing.
“I love peptides, peptides feed amino acids which create collagen elasticity. Collagen creams are crap because the collagen molecule size will never get into your skin, it will just sit on the surface. Microneedling will stimulate collagen.”

Jonathan Van Ness encourages people to embrace natural hair texture

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Van Ness wants people to embrace their hair’s natural texture.
The ‘Queer Eye’ star launched his own haircare brand, JVN Hair, in 2022 and revealed it has made him understand the importance of staying true to your natural texture.
He told RTE.ie: “It’s really funny, I knew how to style my client’s hair curly so much better than I knew how to style my own.
“On ‘Queer Eye’, I shied away from wearing my hair curly for the first few years, because if I had to redo a scene… Like in the interviews, if I needed to hit a pickup from a different thing, my curls always looked a bit different.
“When I started using more product, that allowed my hair to retain the shape and the form so much better. I think a lot of curly haired people are just not using enough product – and it also has to be on very wet hair. Really, really wet curls and a lot of product – that’s the key to achieving your best curls.”
And, he insisted that summer is a good time to embrace your hair’s true texture.
He explained: “The further away your desired style result is from your natural texture, it is harder. Then when you add heat and humidity into it, it’s even harder,” he admits.
“So I think finding a way that you can embrace your natural texture – whatever your natural texture is – especially in summer, is going to be helpful.
It starts as an illusion. If you can give off a feeling of confidence – even if you’re not feeling confident – no one’s looking at your hair, unless you act all insecure about it. Just know you’re doing your best, I know you’re gorgeous – we are all beautiful.”

Emma Chamberlain’s low-key look

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Chamberlain prefers a low-key make-up look when she is off duty.
Although the internet personality and Lancôme global ambassador loves to experiment with her looks on the red carpet, she admitted that when she is not working, she is more comfortable with a more natural palate.
She told Nylon magazine: “For the most part, the editorial, intricate looks are reserved for … fashion shows and events, editorial shoots, whatever it may be. When I’m living my day-to-day life, I like not wearing a lot of makeup just because it’s a bit more comfortable on the face. I will overthink what I look like if I am wearing uncomfortable clothes or a lot of makeup. It kind of gets in the way of me being present in the moment.”
And, Emma’s daily beauty routine is quite simple.
She said: “It’s gentle cleanser and then lots of products like Lancôme Génifique Advanced Serum. I also play around with oils sometimes if my skin’s really dry. I’ve been loving that underneath my foundation. And then I go in with a hydrating concealer, too. Lancôme’s Teint Idole Serum Concealer is phenomenal. Sometimes it’s just that and a bit of bronzer on the cheeks and the eyelids. I’ll put on lip liner even when I’m not wearing any other makeup — I adore lip liner. I use a shade or two darker than my natural lips and a bit more brown. I really like brown mascara right now because it’s a bit milder than black, so I use the Lancôme Défincils in a dark, dark brown.”
Emma, 23, also revealed that she gets most of her inpsiration from Pinterest.
She said: “I am a big Pinterest user, so I’m always making boards and constantly adding to them. I have super-extensive hair and makeup boards, and I’m always pinning. I have a big editorial folder on Pinterest — that one’s private. I think the hair and makeup ones are public, though. Anyone can go scroll through if they want. I’m inspired by all things, but Pinterest is my go-to creative inspo place. It’s the most positive social media platform I think that exists.”

Alberta Ferretti ‘honoured’ to create gowns for Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’

OHMYGOSSIP — Alberta Ferretti was “honoured” to have created many of the gowns for Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’.
The 74-year-old fashion designer hailed the 34-year-old superstar as a “multifaceted artist” as she continues the UK leg of her record-breaking run of shows.
She told the online edition of Harper’s Bazaar: “The tour represents a very important moment in Taylor’s career because she conceived and built it as a journey through the different moments or, as the title suggests, the musical eras defining her career.
“I’m honoured that she asked me to design dresses for this special occasion.
“I have always been fascinated by women who constantly question and challenge themselves and Taylor, with her work, has demonstrated to be a multifaceted artist, able to constantly transform and evolve.”
Taylor has had Alberta design a number of dresses for many of the other eras on her international celebration of her career – which was recently labelled the highest grossing tour of all time – such as the floaty yellow gown she was seen wearing in Paris for the ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ portion of her 45-song setlist.
There is also the fan-favourite green chiffon dress, which boasts leaf detailing and curtain sleeves, which the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer sometimes sports for the same section of the three hour-plus ‘Eras’ shows.
Vivienne Westwood, Roberto Cavalli, and Christian Louboutin are other big names Taylor wears while performing hits including ‘You Belong With Me’, ‘Blank Space’, ‘Love Story’ among many others.
Taylor recently finished a three-night run of shows at London’s Wembley Stadium, one of which saw her Kansas City Chiefs football player boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, making his stage debut during a skit ahead of her singing ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’.
Taylor said on Instagram after the show: “Wembley Stadium round one was so surreal. Looking out into crowds of 90,000 fans each night and hearing that VOLUME… those were some of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard”.

Emma Chamberlain says Thom Browne Couture is ‘all-consuming’

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Chamberlain knows Thom Browne Couture will take her somewhere “all-consuming”.
The 23-year-old influencer praised the 58-year-old designer and his ability to always make “delightful” clothes at the Paris Fashion Week debut of his collection – inspired by the upcoming Olympics hitting the French capital.
She told Interview magazine: “Number one, the world that you get brought into, from every single person who’s working on this show being in uniform to the unbelievably cohesive show that he creates that always matches the scenery beautifully.
“I know that I’m going to be imported into this new world that’s going to feel so all-consuming because he touches every detail. It’s always so delightful.
“I always know that it’s going to be a show. It’s going to be a real show. Things are going to happen. There’s going to be stuff that I never could have thought of and he’s going to change up what we think fashion shows look like from a performance perspective.”
Emma also admitted throwing the coffee in Charli XCX’s music video for her song ‘360’, which also starred Julia Fox, 34, Gabbriette, 26, Rachel Sennott, 28, and Chloe Sevigny, 49, was “so much fun”
She said: “Absolutely no training. Absolutely on the spot. I’ve never thrown a drink prior. That was my first and hopefully last time throwing a drink, but it was so much fun.
“No, it felt really good. I’d recommend it. Do it towards a mannequin or something, and you’ll feel really good.”
The Louis Vuitton ambassador detailed the effort she makes to get her signature ice coffee while on the continent.
Emma said: “Okay, well, I’ve done a few things. Number one, I’ve ordered a cup of ice and then an espresso on the side, and then mixed the espresso with my water and made an iced Americano. I’ve done that at times. That’s your best chance. But if not, just enjoy the hot drink and embrace the Parisian way, I’d say.”

Olivia Dean felt like ‘President Barbie’ at Chanel Paris Fashion Week show

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Dean felt like “President Barbie” at the Chanel Haute Couture show.
The ‘Dive’ singer, 25, channelled the “head of state” role played by Issa Rae in the Greta Gerwig’s 2023 ‘Barbie’ blockbuster at the French couture house’s Paris Fashion Week show by wearing a pink, white and black skirt suit
She told the online edition of Harper’s Bazaar before the catwalk: “This is the very first time I am going to be wearing couture so it’s a big moment.
“When we went into the fitting, I knew immediately that this was going to be the look – it’s really colourful but is still that classic, timeless Chanel.
“I feel like I am ‘President Barbie’. It’s pink, black and white, I’ve got lovely chrome nails and all the jewellery is this beautiful silver so it’s also quite fun. I’m really excited to wear it.”
Olivia admitted she relates to the “timeless” appeal of Chanel, founded by Coco Chanel in 1910, and wants all her work to capture its classic style.
She said: “The more I learn about Chanel and the heritage of the brand, the more aligned I feel with it. It’s just so timeless and always has been and always will be – and that’s the root of what they do. Everything is about that and that’s what I am trying to achieve with my music.
“I want to make something that is timeless, so it goes hand in hand with that in a way.”
Olivia also confessed she is “quite picky” about the clothes she wears as she wants them to increase her feelings of power and confidence or she’s not interested.
She added: “I am quite picky! It is all about how I feel with fashion – if I don’t feel powerful or confident or sexy in it, I can’t wear it, I can’t stand behind it.
“So, at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about to me and that’s what fashion is about – it’s about looking and feeling good.”

Taylor Swift sparks explosion of interest in famed make-up artist Pat McGrath

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift is sparking an explosion of interest among her fans in the famed make-up artist Pat McGrath.
The ‘Bad Blood’ singer, 34, has been at the centre of speculation on how she gets her make-up to stay on and look flawless during her ongoing ‘Eras Tour’ – even under huge spotlights and while drenched in rain and battered by wind at some of her gigs.
Although her ‘Eras’ make-up artist is still yet to be officially revealed, an alleged leaking of her beauty routine on Instagram unveiled what are apparently her most used and favourite products.
The list was almost entirely dominated by products from Pat McGrath, a British-born make-up artist who starred in Taylor’s ‘Bejeweled’ music video and who has been hailed one of the best in her business by the likes of the Vogue.
Despite Taylor and her team not commenting on her alleged use of Pat’s products to get through her gruelling three hour-plus shows with her face of make-up intact, the “leak” has sparked an explosion of visits to her site and interest in her products.
Pat commented on the speculation she is behind Taylor’s tour looks in a TikTok post by resharing the “leaked” tip about Taylor using her products.
Fans are still puzzling over which mascara Taylor is using on stage as the list put out naming her top products did not include a brand name for that.
They have pointed out Pat McGrath Labs doesn’t currently offer a waterproof mascara.
In 2019, Pat she was included in Time’s 100 most influential people list and is the first make-up artist to be made a Dame Commander of the British Empire.
She launched her Pat McGrath Labs in 2015, and by 2019 it had become a $1 billion company and the biggest selling beauty line at Selfridges.

Dries Van Noten brands fashion industry ‘brittle’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dries Van Noten has branded the fashion industry “brittle” and “not in the best condition”.
The Belgian-born menswear design icon, 66, marked his retirement from the business by waving goodbye at the closing of his last-ever runway show at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, where he presented his final and 150th collection to mark him stepping down from his role as boss of his eponymous brand after 38 years.
He said when asked by GQ if he was jaded about the business: “It’s not fashion which is brittle, it’s fashion business that is.
“And I think for me that those are two different things.
“Fashion is a desire. I think that’s the power of fashion. You don’t feel good, you put a sweater on and you feel much better.
“You want to shine at a certain moment, you can shine. You want to hide yourself, you can hide.
“And I think that’s the power of clothes. I think that’s what clothes are for. That for me is the important thing.
“It’s what the businessmen made of fashion, that is a different thing.
“And that for me is not in the best condition at the moment. I think everybody knows that. How much fake desire can you create? Too much now, absolutely too much.”
Dries is now returning to his home city of Antwerp, and has been holidaying on the Amalfi Coast with his partner Patrick Vangheluwe and their dog.
But he insisted he is not totally going to step away from fashion.
Dries added: “I still have a lot of plans, I’m still going to do different things.
“The fashion world and everything, it’s my soul, it’s my life. So it would be strange to now close the doors completely. So, I won’t.
“I’m happy. I think… I am going to have moments that I say, ‘Well, my goodness, what did I do?’
“I think it’s normal when you do something with your heart and your soul, in such a passionate and complete way as I did.
“I was always thinking about fashion. Everything that I looked at was a source of inspiration. I was really feeding my creativity constantly… I will still continue working on the company’s beauty and perfume, which I love to do, and I will also continue with store design and all those things.
“And I will advise on the men’s and women’s collection. Of course, the thing is they can follow my advice, or they cannot follow my advice.”

Naomi Campbell is not into ‘ticking the box’ of diversity in fashion

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell is not into “ticking the box” of diversity in the fashion industry.
The supermodel, 54, made her name as one of the leading black models on the planet in the 1980s and was the first black model to appear on the cover of publications including Vogue Paris and Time, and has been using her platform to promote inclusion in her business.
Hitting out at brands who want to “look good” without investing in long-term diversity, she said in an interview to promote her ongoing ‘Naomi in Fashion’ exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London: “A lot of people can come up to me and say, ‘Oh we want this, we want that.’
“But that can go through one ear or the other if it’s just for a ‘tick the box’.
“I’m not into ticking the box. You have to show me that you really want to commit into the community and the infrastructure.
“You know, there’s been brands where they’ve been in trouble, they just want to look good.
“And I’ve gone out to help, and then once I’ve helped, or things have turned around, they’ve just forgotten.
“It doesn’t work that way – so I’m learning too.”
Speaking at the V and A Museum in March, Naomi said: “Will (diversity) remain? That is a question I don’t really want to think about but that is what I’m thinking about, because as I am again looking at the collections, I’m starting to get nervous that we are sliding back.
“Why do I stay doing what I do? Because my work is not done. I feel that I have to use my voice and platform to keep at them.”
Naomi’s exhibition marks the first time the V and A has focussed on the career of a living fashion model, and it tracks the model’s career and personal life through objects and garments from her personal archive.
It includes the Karl Lagerfeld dress she wore in 1988 as the first black woman to appear on the cover of Vogue France in the magazine’s 68-year history – along with the grey bedazzled Dolce and Gabbana dress she infamously wore on her final day of community service at the New York City Department of Sanitation in March 2007, which she completed as punishment for throwing a phone at her housekeeper’s head.

Naomi Campbell revives ‘glamour’ of early 2000s at her+A exhibition launch

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell is trying to “heighten the glamour” of the early 2000s.
The 54-year-old supermodel teamed up with luxury fashion brand BOSS for the launch of her exhibition ‘Naomi: In Fashion’ at the V+A Museum in London on Wednesday (19.06.24) and admitted that the long white silhouette number she wore to the event was inspired by the style that was around more than 20 years ago.
She told Elle: “Tonight’s look is a true celebration of BOSS’s renowned tailoring heritage, reimagined in an exquisite evening wear silhouette. The inspiration came straight from the BOSS archives. Those tailored and plunging necklines and open backs from their very first womenswear collection back in 2001 really caught my eye. That’s where we started and then we just heightened the glamour from there.
“The exhibition is a retrospective which required me to dig deep into my own personal archives, so naturally, I was inspired in a similar way for this custom BOSS look for tonight. Plus, BOSS has a timeless style, a dedication to excellence and it celebrates strong, independent women — it aligns beautifully with my own vision and style.”
The catwalk star also noted that working with BOSS for the launch of her exhibition felt “very natural” after more than two years of working as an ambassador for them.
She added: “Wearing BOSS for tonight’s exhibition opening was the obvious choice for me. It represents modern luxury and bold self-expression. I’ve been part of the BOSS family for quite a while now, and I always enjoy working closely with the incredibly talented Marco Falcioni and the entire design team. When I shared the news about the exhibition with them, they were just as excited as I was and they have supported me every step of the way. With a milestone event like this, it just felt very natural and right to wear BOSS on the red carpet.”

RHOBH star Kyle Richards reveals simple trick to achieving smooth skin

OHMYGOSSIP — Kyle Richards drinks “plenty of water” to make sure her skin looks fresh.
The 55-year-old reality star – who is best known as a cast member on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – sometimes dons special eye patches to get herself ready for the cameras but admitted that getting a lot of sleep and staying hydrated are also two “very important” aspects of achieving a good complexion.
She told Us Weekly: “I would come in with the patches and take them off, and I was like, ‘Oh my God. I’m already cute!. I’ve been a fan of Peter Thomas Roth and they saw me wearing the eye patches, so it just made sense. It’s really exciting to be able to partner with them and have my daughter be a part of the campaign.
“Sleeping and drinking plenty of water is very important, which is also a luxury when you’re filming these shows and you’re up all night.”
The Bravo star previously admitted she became obsessed with the cryo sticks- which are designed to help soothe and calm reactive and sensitive skins – after a facialist used cryo sticks on her.
Speaking in an Amazon Live video, she said: “The facialist said to me, ‘You know, we’re going to use these cryo sticks on your face,’ and she pulled them out of the refrigerator, and oh my god, it took my facial to another level.
“So, you’re supposed to put them in the freezer, so what I do is I put them in the freezer and then I move them to [the skincare fridge]. I use them — you don’t understand, guys. They feel like a miracle.
“Any puffiness or swelling that I had – completely gone. I cannot tell you how good this feels, guys. I cannot believe I lived without these before.”

Alex Iwobi starts his day with his ‘dog fit’

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Iwobi begins his day with his “dog fit”.
The Fulham FC winger is known for his high fashion looks but he always starts his day with an ensemble suitable for looking after his pack of adorable pooches.
The 28-year-old soccer player told gq-magazine.co.uk at Paris Fashion Week: “You can normally get four or five fits from me in a day. But when I wake up in the morning to sort my dogs out, you could find me in absolutely anything.”
Alex also revealed that he loves Fashion Week because he is interested in what other cultures are “bringing” style-wise, such as South Korean brand Solid Homme.
He said: “It was a vibe. Seeing how people express themselves through clothes, that was an eye opener for me. You don’t really see that on a day-to-day basis but when you come to Paris Fashion Week, everyone’s bringing everything.”
The former Everton player confessed that he is more into clothes than footie at the moment as he hasn’t “been actively keeping up” with the Euros tournament.
Alex said: “I’ve seen a few highlights but I haven’t been actively keeping up. I’m just literally trying to take a break and enjoy [being] away from it.”
He dubbed the fashion industry and that of professional soccer as “two different worlds” while sharing he was learning so much while getting to grips with the newer one.
Alex said: “It’s two different worlds and I’m still learning. I’m enjoying it but, to be fair, the people on the team around me have made it smooth, so it’s not been too hectic on my side.”
