Ashley Graham: I would never change my body

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham would “never change” a thing about her body.
The 33-year-old model is encouraging her TikTok followers to celebrate their bodies and give a shout-out to the parts of themselves they love the most.
In the clip, she said: “The strongest part of my body? My legs,” she starts off. “The sexiest part of my body: my eyes. My favorite part of my body. My jawline lol. The most important part of my body? My smile :). The part of my body I would never change. EVERYTHING!!! (sic)”
Ashley told her fans to recreate the video – which has over 1.4 million views at the time of writing.
The challenge quickly took off and the catwalk beauty got emotional seeing the videos.
She wrote on Instagram: “I’m not crying you’re crying. So many beautiful people have been using my sound on TikTok to celebrate their bodies take a second today to celebrate yours!”
The challenge comes after Ashley vowed to be an advocate for body positivity but admitted she has trouble constantly talking about her body shape.
She said: “I hate that I constantly have to discuss my body, because I don’t know any man that has to do that. But what motivates me to continue to talk about my body is that I didn’t have someone talking about their body when I was young.”
However, she is determined to keep her appearance “real” on social media as she wants to show her fans that there is no such thing as a “perfect” body type.
She added: “This is why I don’t post like the ‘perfect’ Instagram photos.I keep it real and raw constantly because I want [people] to know that there are women with cellulite, with back fat, with stretch marks…. There are a lot of curvy women, plus-size women, fat women, whatever you want to call them.”

Billie Eilish got her style inspiration from thrifting

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish loved “thrifting” growing up.
The Grammy-winner – who wowed fans with her transformation on the cover of British Vogue magazine at the weekend – has opened up about where she got her style inspiration from over the years.
And the ‘Your Power’ hitmaker revealed that she loved buying her clothes from a thrift store because there is no “genre of clothing” and “limit” on what you can buy regardless of gender.
Asked where she got her style inspiration from by actress Barbie Ferreira in a video for British Vogue, Billie said: “Ah, Barbie, girl you so cute. Oh my gosh, [I get] fashion inspo all over the place. I mean, everywhere.
“Tyler had a lot of impact on me growing up. I used to like just only thrift like growing up … I just did it because I really, really loved thrifting and I felt like what was nice about it is that there wasn’t any real genre of clothing. It’s like, all just there and so you kind of have no limit to what’s, you know, there’s no like women’s blank or like women’s … there’s just clothes and they’re kind of in sections, but not really. That’s kind of how I got my style.”
The 19-year-old superstar posed in a lingerie-style corset and skirt for the cover of the fashion bible, and in the interview, she insisted that women should feel “empowered” whether they show off their skin or hide their body behind oversized clothes.
She said: “Suddenly you’re a hypocrite if you want to show your skin, and you’re easy and you’re a s*** and you’re a w****. If I am, then I’m proud.
“Let’s turn it around and be empowered in that. Showing your body and showing your skin – or not – should not take any respect away from you.”
Billie is “taking back that power” and has vowed to wear and do whatever she wants to make herself “feel good”.
On wearing a corset while promoting body positivity, she said: “My thing is that I can do whatever I want.
“It’s all about what makes you feel good. If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing … if you feel like you look good, you look good. It’s about taking that power back, showing it off and not taking advantage with it. I’m not letting myself be owned anymore.”

Naomi Watts’ nightmare hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Watts’ fine hair is a “nightmare”.
The 52-year-old actress and Onda Beauty co-founder has opened up about her struggles with her locks, which she puts down to “overusing hot tools” and “hormones”.
She told The New York Times: “My hair is a nightmare. I’ve always had fine hair, but I was told I had lots of it. Now that’s not the case. Reaching a certain age, I think hormones play a part as well as overusing hot tools. And there’s the colour. I definitely colour my hair. I’m naturally blonde, but I’m very, very ashy. I definitely need a little brightening. There’s no way around the damage, though.”
The ‘Penguin Bloom’ star recently got to go to her hairdressers for the first time since salons re-opened after lockdown and admitted she didn’t expect to feel as good as she did with her fresh hairdo.
She continued: “I go to Mark DeBolt for my colour. Ryan, his partner in life and in business, has also done my hair for film and red carpets. They had just opened their salon before COVID struck. I went recently for the first time in a year. It felt really good. I couldn’t quite believe it when I stepped out of the salon.
I use Rahua leave-in conditioners and control cream. I also take supplements. I’ve been using those from Nutrafol and Mindbodygreen.”
Elsewhere, the mother-of-two – who has Kai, 12, and Sasha, 13, with ex-partner Liev Schreiber – revealed she is a “physical person” and got really into her fitness amid the pandemic.
She said: “Fitness is a big part of my life. It’s great for mood, isn’t it? I’m a physical person. I like to move my body. I bounce around because I can get bored easily. With the pandemic we got heavily into exercise and working out online with our friends, filming ourselves, and now what? It’s hard to sustain.
“I exercise three times a week. I love a bit of strength training. I do Zoom classes with a guy called Keith Anthony. It’s all on the matt with some weights and some lunges and squats. I do yoga.”

Phoebe Bridgers makes her band wear suits

OHMYGOSSIP — Phoebe Bridgers makes her whole band wear suits.
The 26-year-old singer likes to mark her time performing on stage by having her indie outfit, boygenius, wear an onstage outfit that she can look at as memorabilia.
She told L’OFFICIEL USA magazine: “I make my whole band wear suits, and I love wearing fancy things. I made [Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker of] boygenius wear matching costumes – they were very down – and now I have this keepsake forever. It marks an era and is a memory of that time, and it also becomes this ritual of doing your hair and make-up for the first time that day at 7pm and becoming your stage self.”
The ‘Garden Song’ hitmaker also called out the “crazy double standard” regarding male and female artists dressing up on stage.
She explained: “I was dating a metalhead when I was around 13, and I asked him what he thought about Paramore, and he said it was stupid and that Hayley Williams is just “a chick who dances around”. I also think that wearing a stage costume is so weirdly gendered, even though Kurt Cobain wore a costume too – he thought about what t-shirt he was going to wear to every single red carpet. Bruce Springsteen is also wearing a costume – and metal? Don’t even get me started. Those dudes are wearing eyeliner, but somehow Hayley Williams flipping her hair around is not hardcore? It’s such a crazy double standard about who’s allowed to dress up or not.”
Meanwhile, Phoebe recently insisted she “doesn’t believe in” straight people.
The musician came out as bisexual when she was in high school and she thinks that being attracted to both men and women to some degree has become the norm in modern times.
She said: “I don’t know — I actually don’t believe that anyone is, like, entirely straight.
“I just don’t believe in straight people! It’s like, how? It’s 2021!”
The ‘Kyoto’ singer found coming out “was kind of the opposite of an issue” and she was always attracted to both “innocent indie boys” and “bombshell” movie characters.
She added: “I feel like I love little innocent indie boys, and then my most seminal female crushes were always the bombshells in ‘Transformer’ movies, or Jessica Rabbit, or whatever.”

Emma Corrin and Lila Moss front Miu Miu x Levi’s campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Corrin and Lila Moss star in Miu Miu’s campaign with Levi’s.
The 25-year-old ‘Crown’ star and the 18-year-old model have teamed up to front the latest collaboration between the Italian fashion label and American clothing company, alongside model Georgia Palmer.
The collection includes “refreshed and renewed” Levi’s classic 80s and 90s denim with classic Miu Miu embellishments.
The sustainable line also includes a 40-year-old Levi’s jacket that has been transformed with puff sleeves and a pair of 501s covered in rhinestones.
The collection hits Selfridges and MiuMiu.com on May 24.
It comes after Emma teamed up with Miu Miu for their Christmas campaign last year alongside famous faces Kim Basinger, Chloe Sevigny, Du Juan and Raffey Cassidy, Jordan Kristine Seamón and Storm Reid to represent the idea of the “icon”.
Announcing the campaign, the brand said in a statement at the time: “Each adds a depth and richness to the Miu Miu universe. A cast comprising actors and performers is inherently keyed to the meaning of Miu Miu – of transformation, of reinvention, of a woman who can be women.”
The campaign featured the talents of established and emerging stars pictured in the brand’s pre-spring 2021 collection photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, with creative direction by Katie Grand. It continued the long-standing relationship between Miu Miu and ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ star Kim, who has starred in multiple campaigns for the fashion house over the years.
Likewise, Chloe Sevigny was featured in Miu Miu campaigns since 1996 when she was just 22 years old.
The campaign captured the star’s feminine strength with notions of girlhood as the women posed in pastel hues and crystal-adorned clothes featuring vintage-inspired frills and bold patterns.

Jessica Alba’s The Honest Company raises $412m after going public

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Alba has earned $2.6 million after The Honest Company went public.
The 40-year-old actress-and-businesswoman co-founded the consumer goods brand – which specialises in clean beauty and baby products – back in 2011 and made an impressive debut on Wall Street this week, with shares soaring to 44 per cent.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the firm made a whopping $412 million IPO and is currently valued at $1.44 billion
As well as being a stakeholder, Alba has 5.6 per cent in shares, valued at $130 million at present.
She told Bloomberg TV: “I feel like I’m in a dream, to be honest. Wow. Is this really happening?
“I’m so grateful to our very loyal community. Thank you for bringing us into your home. Thank you for trusting us with your most precious people, your little people.”
In 2015, The Honest Company – which started out offering natural alternatives to common baby products – expanded to include beauty and skincare products and was valued at $1 billion by Forbes.
Jessica previously said her aim with the firm was to “value” areas such as “health, wellness, and stability”.
The ‘Sin City’ star explained that “honesty and transparency” come first, because she believes customers expect brands to have those values “embedded into the model”.
She said: “I think if we can do anything for business, we can show that you could have a positive impact on the world, you can put health and wellness and sustainability as a value, you can have honesty and transparency as a value.
“I believe the reason why consumers are choosing Honest over others is because we have those values, not in spite of, and another huge aspect of our business is that we give back.
“I believe that consumers expect companies to have this type of value embedded in the model. And it shouldn’t just be a marketing ploy. It should just be who you are.”

Victoria Beckham: The Spice Girls set trends because there was no fear

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham says the Spice Girls “didn’t care” about what was hot or not in fashion and beauty.
The 47-year-old fashion designer – whose alter ego Posh Spice was known for her short bobs and little black dresses in the girl group – looks back fondly at the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers’ clothing and make-up choices because they always wore whatever they wanted and created new trends rather than followed them.
She said: “I look at us all, and it makes me smile because we didn’t care. Whether it was fashion or beauty, we didn’t care. We wore what made us feel good. We weren’t worried, ‘Is this the newest, coolest?’ We set trends because there was no fear.”
The 90s’ chart-toppers were known for wearing platforms, bold prints, suit jackets with a flash of bra on display, camouflage and more.
And they were all about inspiring their fans to embrace their individuality.
Victoria told Dear Media’s ‘Breaking Beauty’ podcast: “It’s okay to be different. Let’s not try and change who we are. Let’s celebrate who we are. Let’s celebrate the fact that we’re all different.”
Meanwhile, it was revealed this week that the Spice Girls are in talks for a ‘Spice World: The Movie’ sequel.
Geri Horner (Ginger) – who is currently managing her band – has taken charge of the potential project and has been in talks with a renowned screenwriter about a possible script for a follow-up movie ahead of the 25th anniversary of the cult musical hit next year.
According to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, Melanie C (Sporty), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Mel B (Scary) are tentatively on board for the film while they are all hoping the idea could tempt back Victoria, who opted out of the group’s reunion tour in 2019.
A source said: “The girls have been talking about how to mark the film’s anniversary and are actively considering making a tongue-in-cheek sequel.
“They have approached a screenwriter who is considering working on the project and making tentative steps forward.
“It is still in the early stages but they are talking to established names in the business, which proves they are taking a big screen comeback seriously.”

Lori Harvey tests her beauty products out on boyfriend Michael B. Jordan

OHMYGOSSIP — Lori Harvey tests her beauty products on boyfriend Michael B. Jordan.
The 24-year-old model – who went public with her romance with the ‘Black Panther’ star in January – has spilled that she always ends up persuading the men in her life to follow a skincare routine and that’s why the 34-year-old actor has had a bit of a glow lately.
She told Vogue’s Beauty Secrets: “I tested all my products, of course, on myself, but I also tested them on my boyfriend.
“I’ve pretty much gotten all of the men in my life on a skincare regimen, my dad included … so if you’re wondering why his skin looks so good lately, it’s because of me.”
Elsewhere during her tutorial, Lori revealed that her make-up is massively inspired by ’90s glam.
She said: “I love to look at old ’90s glam for inspiration when I’m doing my make-up. I just feel like that was such a timeless era …and everything was very effortless.”
Meanwhile, the catwalk beauty recently admitted she would love to rummage through Rihanna’s wardrobe.
She said: “She definitely has some pieces I am dying to get my hands on.”
As for her own style, Lori described it as “definitely a mix between girly and tomboy”.
The daughter of actor Steve Harvey explained how she always chooses pieces that “accentuate” her body, but since the COVID-19 pandemic, she lives for “comfy” clothes.
She continued: “I love collecting vintage pieces and wearing clothes that accentuate my body are a must. I normally like to mix my high and low pieces when I go out, but since the pandemic hit, anything comfy has been my go-to.”

Kristin Cavallari launching beauty line

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Cavallari’s beauty line is “unlike” any other brand out there in terms of “clean standards”.
The 34-year-old TV star will release Uncommon Beauty on May 13, and she has revealed the aim was to make products that are “really effective” and also meet her very high clean beauty standards, which she feels haven’t been met with products she is aware of in the market.
She told People: “I live a very clean lifestyle. Everything I’m putting in my body is clean. I want to make sure everything I’m putting on my body is just as clean. So we decided, let’s do a line that really is clean, to our standards, that’s still really effective.”
Kristin also felt it was important to create five core products so the consumer can easily fit the beauty routine into their busy lives.
She explained: “We wanted to strip it down, so instead of having 20 different products, we wanted to give you five that really check every box and get the job done, so that it’s not overwhelming and it’s not stressful. We live in a modern time. We’re modern women. We don’t want to be spending 30 minutes every morning getting ready. I like things quick and easy.”
‘The Hills’ legend added that while she has looked to other lines for inspiration, Uncommon Beauty is “what represents me” and will therefore be unique.
She added: “I will look to other people for inspiration, obviously, I know what’s going on and who’s launching what line but I don’t let that steer my decision making on anything because I think ultimately with everything I’ve done — Uncommon James, the jewellery, now beauty — I’m doing me.
“I’m a fan of some of the other skincare lines that are out there and jewellery lines too. But I think that we can stand on our own because the thing that’s most important to me is that this is clean. And I haven’t found anything out there that I can really stand behind and say, ‘This meets my clean standards.
“I think that there’s an appetite for everything. So even if somebody else similar to me launched a skincare line, it would be different because we would be different. I’m creating what represents me.”

Adwoa Aboah: The beauty industry was out of reach and intimidating

OHMYGOSSIP — Adwoa Aboah says the beauty industry used to be “out of reach and intimidating”.
The 28-year-old fashion model has admitted growing up it was difficult to find products to match her skin and certain make-up, such as a red lip, felt daunting because there was no one that looked like her sporting the look in magazines and on TV.
She told British Vogue: “From a young age, I felt the beauty industry was pretty inauthentic because it was one-dimensional and lazy, to be honest. I didn’t think it took into account different perspectives and different kinds of people. It was glamour, glamour, glamour but it wasn’t individual, you know? It didn’t speak to different people in different communities and [from different] backgrounds, and it wasn’t accessible. You couldn’t find the right shade of foundation or the right concealer, and you didn’t see someone who looked like yourself wearing a red lip. It was very out of reach and intimidating.”
Adwoa has recently been unveiled as London beauty brand Rimmel’s first-ever global brand activist and part of her work will be helping to make sure they “redefine beauty, glamour and make-up” and reflect society.
She explained: “One of the reasons I’m most excited about working with Rimmel is because it’s such an iconic English brand – and in London too, which is where I’m from. I’m excited to offer a different messaging around beauty and show people that it’s not just the mascara that makes you look good, it’s other things too. It’s mood, environment, energy, people, relationships, self and growing – all of what that does, plus the mascara!
“I’m also obsessed with all the talent coming out of London, and [through this role] I can give more opportunities to people who are going to redefine beauty, glamour and make-up, while making sure that what they’re doing in fashion is reflective of what’s going on in society – because I think that’s what’s so cool and refreshing. It’s approachable and attractive. And it’s exciting to work with a brand that is happy for me to be myself.”

Urban Decay announces Prince capsule collection

OHMYGOSSIP — The Prince Estate and Urban Decay have teased an upcoming capsule collection.
Fans of the late Purple One can expect “never-before-seen essentials inspired by [Prince’s] iconic style and unparalleled self-expression.”
The limited-edition products will arrive on May 27.
As part of UD’s Live Loud in Color campaign, the brand will honour the late music legend’s career with the collection, which will come in Prince’s “signature colour highlighted alongside gold and black”.
The ‘Raspberry Beret’ hitmaker’s close friend and muse, Damaris Lewis, is set to be the face of the collection.
The 30-year-old actress and model – who joined Prince’s band the New Power Generation in 2012 on his ‘Welcome 2 Australia Tour’ as a dancer and performed alongside him throughout his career – commented: “I’m very excited for this collection. I hope it inspires you to make your own rules, just as Prince did for so many decades.”
Wende Zomnir, co-founder of Urban Decay, said in a press release: “We couldn’t possibly imitate someone as legendary as Prince, and to compare him to a palette would diminish who he was. It’s easy to say why this collection makes sense on the surface — his makeup looks and our shared love of purple — but we did our best to embody his energy on a deeper level. We found his ethos of not asking permission to be who he was and owning it so boldly aligned with our values of breaking the mould and championing all forms of beauty.”
Prince passed away at the age of 57 of an accidental fentanyl overdose in 2016.

Tia Mowry has an 11-step beauty sleep routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Tia Mowry has an 11-step “beauty sleep” routine.
The 42-year-old actress learned to take care of her mind and skin after watching her mom unwind at the end of the day, and now the ‘Sister, Sister’ star has developed an extensive routine to help her relax before bed.
She told Us Weekly: “My night-time routine has always been an experience ever since I was a teenager. My mom was just really into taking care of herself, taking care of her skin, taking care of her body. I learned a lot of that from my mother. So, thank you, Mom.
“Not only does it make me feel good on the outside, but it makes me feel good on the inside. I’m always crazy busy and always doing something, you know, I’m a mom-of-two and I’m a working mom so I always like to end my day feeling really nice and relaxed.”
Tia begins her routine by burning sage to rid any negative energy around her and get into the right “vibe” for sleep.
She explained: “I like to burn some sage. Sage actually just gets rid of all of the negative energy and all that kind of stuff. It’s actually been scientifically proven that sage also kills bacteria in the air. So my husband, he’s always just wailing this stuff around everyone. He’ll even come around me sometimes and just do it all over my body. I’m like, ‘Really Corey?’ This is another thing that I like to do before I go to bed to just get the vibes right.”
She then takes off her make-up with a range of cleansing oils and milks before indulging in age-defying products to keep her skin youthful.
However, Tia believes the real work takes place on the inside and takes a beauty supplement to help keep her hair, nails, and skin stay strong.
She added: “It’s also important to work on what’s going in the inside of your body. I try to drink lots of water throughout the day and I also take my Anser Beauty Formula. This is all about hair support, skin support and nail support. It has such incredible ingredients in here — coconut water powder which really helps your skin [stay] nice and hydrated.”

Jessica Alba: Taking The Honest Company public was like giving birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Alba says taking The Honest Company public was like getting ready for birth.
The 40-year-old actress and businesswoman – who has Honor, 12, Haven, nine, and Hayes, three, with husband Cash Warren – co-founded the clean beauty brand in 2011 and made an impressive debut on Wall Street this week, but she insisted “the real work” is just beginning.
She told People: “I just knew I wanted to build a brand that could stand the test of time. I knew that I wanted to have a modern, more ethical way to meet consumers’ needs. There was a huge white space. It was like, however we get there, we need to get there.
“Every single moment has mattered so much and I learned so much along the way. You know when you’re pregnant and every month when your baby goes from a walnut and then eventually it’s like the size of a grapefruit, then it becomes a melon. Every stage feels so different and new. Once you actually have the baby, you’re like, the real work has now started. That’s how I feel today.”
The consumer goods brand started out offering natural alternatives to common baby products but expanded to include beauty and skincare products and was valued at $1 billion by Forbes in 2015.
However, this week it was revealed that the firm made a whopping $412 million IPO and is currently valued at $1.44 billion.
And the ‘Sin City’ star says she has proved that Wall Street isn’t just a place for men.
She explained: “There’s a lot of fear just from the unknown and doubt from the unknown. But the more and more people see us at those tables and see us show up in these different environments where you’re not used to seeing us in the same way that you’re used to seeing men, that will continue to help change the narrative.
“Half the population isn’t represented in all of these sectors. Why? We need to be more active to make sure that that doesn’t happen for this next generation.
“That our kids are growing up with a totally different understanding of what’s possible and who you can be.”

Molly Sims has 3-minute showers

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly Sims takes “three-minute showers”.
The 47-year-old fashion model and actress has revealed she has become a “pro” a multitasking since becoming a mom and has learnt the art of balancing taking time for self-care and being a parent.
Speaking to Yahoo Life for ‘The Unwind’ series, Molly – who has Brooks, eight, Scarlett, six, and four-year-old Grey with husband Scott Stuber – said: I take three-minute showers [laughs]; it was 12 minutes when I didn’t have children. I do everything really quickly, I multitask a lot. I’ll make coffee and get my kids ready for a school with a sheet mask on. I’ll put conditioner in my hair and wear it for two days and no one knows. If I’m on a Zoom call, I dress from the bottom up.”
The ‘Yes Day’ Hiring Executive is a massive skincare and make-up fan and revealed she still battles on a “daily basis” with hyperpigmentation and melasma skin conditions.
She said: “Skincare! I love make-up, and there are certain products I can’t live without, but I love skincare — probably because I’ve have always had problems with my skin. In my early 20s I had cystic acne and once I cured that, I wound up having hyperpigmentation and melasma (and I’m still dealing with that on a daily basis). Whether it be an exfoliating toner or a cleansing balm or the best foaming wash, I truly love talking about vitamin C and your AHA and PHA balance — I love it.”
Elsewhere, Molly revealed getting her nails and hair done instantly makes her “feel better”, while she admitted she had been a “people pleaser” until she learned to say “no”.
She added: “I do think self-care is important. It’s going to sound superficial, but getting my nails done once a month makes me feel better. Getting my hair coloured or a [taking] walk outside — those little things make me feel better. Recently, I had back problems and I had to stop exercising; I [struggled without it]. So I do think that taking those small moments is really important. I also learned that “no” is a complete sentence — and I’m a people pleaser.”

Andre Leon Talley claims Vogue has ‘double standards’ regarding pay

OHMYGOSSIP — Andre Leon Talley has claimed there were “double standards” when it came to pay at Vogue.
The former US Vogue editor-at-large has suggested that being Black in America is to blame for the disparity in wages between himself and the pay of “high rate fashion editors” at the iconic fashion bible, who he was told “made close to a million dollars”.
He alleged during an appearance on ‘Tamron Hall’ on Monday (03.05.21): “I just found out two weeks ago from someone of authority that women at Vogue, high, high rate fashion editors made close to a million dollars.
“I never made that much in a year. I made almost $300,000, but people on the same level, maybe they were doing more work than the fashion photoshoots, were making $900,000 a year.
“They don’t make that anymore, but this is what comes when you live in America, when you’re a Black person, you have to wake up and you know there’s a double standard.”
The pay comments come after Andre used his 2020 book ‘The Chiffon Trenches’ to speak about how his former friend and colleague, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, “disregarded” his work.
He said: “The first thing I want to say about my book is this. This work, my epistle, is about not only my contribution to the world, but how did my presence change that world? And how was my work regarded and disregarded by Anna Wintour? I am 71 years old and I take my story with me wherever I go. The past is always in the present. This is not a bitchy tell-all.”
Anna and André fell out in 2018 when she replaced him with a YouTube star for the red carpet interviews at the Met Gala and he is still hurt about the snub today.
He said: “If Anna had called and said, ‘André, we’re thinking of going in a different direction [for the Met ball], it’s important for our brand,’ I would have said, ‘Fine. That’s great.’ And I’d have come in my Tom Ford cape – I always wear Tom Ford – and enjoyed my dinner.
“It felt like I was just thrown under the bus. It hurt!”
