Tracee labeled Andre – whose career spans many fashion bibles including Interview, Women’s Wear Daily and Vogue – as a “treasure”.
She said: “He made a mark in a world and in an industry where they weren’t looking for him to make a mark. The way he occupied space as a Black person in a world that hunts Black men — he just was a treasure.”
The former ‘Girlfriends’ star – who is the daughter of the Supremes icon Diana Ross – gushed about her love of clothes came from her 78-year-old mother.

Despite her mother’s superstar status, Tracee revealed that she “was extremely present”, saying that the ‘Upside Down’ hitmaker would do things like “waking us up for school, sitting for dinner with us and giving us a genuine, anchored, real family life and home life. Sydney Sweeney thinks Vaseline Cocoa Butter Rich Conditioning Jelly is “a life changer”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sydney Sweeney thinks Vaseline Cocoa Butter Rich Conditioning Jelly is “a life changer”.
The ‘Euphoria’ star – who has sensitive skin and uses it for multiple uses – loves the drug store staple ($5.75/£2.45) because other more expensive and high-end products made her “makeup sit strange”.
The 24-year-old actress told Harper’s Bazaar for their ‘Go to Bed with Me’ series: “I was finding that a lot of under-eye creams or oils, or whatever products, were not working for me,” she says. “It would make my makeup sit strange, and I felt like my eyes were getting dry, or it wasn’t right. And then, I started doing this, and, you guys, it’s been a life changer.”
Sydney first started using Vaseline as a preteen when she “realized” to removed her eye makeup without much “harsh rubbing”.
She said: “I realized it helped take my eye makeup off really gently. I just never liked the harsh rubbing of eye makeup.”
The ‘White Lotus’ star – who recently got engaged to Jonathan Davino – recently admitted that she “wasn’t allowed” to wear makeup until she was 13 and “didn’t know much about skincare.”
Sydney said: I wasn’t allowed to use makeup until I was about 13 years old, and then I was only allowed to use powder. I didn’t know much about skin care either — I think my mom started having me wash my face when I got acne at a really young age.”
As a teenager, she struggled with acne and tried her “best” to tackle it.
Sydney said: “In high school I was just trying my best. I didn’t use a lot of tools. Until recently, it was a lot of random products. I have cystic acne and I have a tendency to pick. I would make myself bleed and leave terrible, terrible marks. I remember going to the bathroom at lunchtime and seeing what my face looked like with makeup on over the acne after I picked it, so then I legit started going to school with Band-aids on my face. I would try and put my makeup over them thinking that was less noticeable than the actual markings.”

In a conversation for Interview magazine with her sister Maude, the 19-year-old actress said: “I really love Bella Hadid’s style and also Lily Rose-Depp, but probably my biggest style icon–which may sound weird ‘cause we have the same name–is Iris Law. She’s really inspired all of my outfits that I look for online and I just think she’s so cool and beautiful.”
Her ‘Euphoria’ star sister agreed, saying that she “totally” understands it.
The 24-year-old actress said: “She is so beautiful and cool, I totally get that,” before she asked “what do you do when no one’s watching? I give you permission not to answer.”

Christian Lacroix says that he feels ‘like a young adult’

OHMYGOSSIP — Christian Lacroix says that he feels “like a young adult”
The legendary couturier – who has dressed a variety of women including Kirsten Dunst, Jennifer Aniston and Jane Seymour – attributes to working “with young people” to maintaining his sense of youth.
While talking to Daniel Roseberry – the 36-year-old creative director for couture house Schiaparelli- for Interview magazine, the 70-year-old designer said: “I’m 70 years old, but I still feel like a young adult. I work with young people much more than people from my generation, and they’re all so fascinated and thrilled with the ’80s and ’90s. When I was a teenager in the ’60s and ’70s, I wore everything from the flea market—from the ’20s, ’30s, and ’40s. Evolving that way is an oedipal thing. We all have a special feeling for whatever our mom’s generation was wearing. The ’80s and ’90s were a tacky, ugly period for me. But I was totally in the game at that time.”
Christian – who began his own haute couture house in 1987, which went bust in 2009 – admitted to being “nervous” to discuss trends as opposed to his slower creations.
He said: “I’m nervous because I’m out of fashion. This weekend I had to look at what is happening now. I know couture much better than ready-to-wear, but I was quite amazed by a lot of things. My very first wish was to be a stage designer. That’s why I was totally suited to the ’80s, which was so theatrical. I admire you—to live and to play this game nowadays is not easy.”
The former Emilio Pucci creative director “was disillusioned” with the fashion industry and its quest for profit when he was in his 30s and 40s.
Christian said: “I was disillusioned. Really. I was never in the right place. I never had the idea I should have had. I always listened to my gut, but I felt so alone, especially in a group like LVMH. When I had lunch with [LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton chairman] Bernard Arnault, it was, “Oh, you are such a wonderful poet, but you are such a poor businessman.” He was totally thrilled with the next generation of designers, genius designers, who were interested in making money. Alexander McQueen wanted to buy stocks after their first meeting. Making money was not my thing. When Versace or Dolce and Gabbana were on yachts during the summer, I was in the south with my friends, doing normal things—drinking, dancing, going night-clubbing. But I felt reassured when I saw people crying at the end of my shows because I wanted them to cry with me.”

Rosie Perez says Christian Siriano made her wear red to the 2022 Academy Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Perez says Christian Siriano made her wear red to the 2022 Academy Awards.
‘The Flight Attendant’ star “gave in” to the 36-year-old fashion designer’s demands when returned to the Oscars red carpet after a 30 year hiatus after she told the ‘Project Runway’ winner that it was her “favourite colour”.
The 57-year-old star said during a press junket on Tuesday (12.04.22): “I said I saw myself in black and he was like, ‘no, no, no, you’re going to be in red. He said, ‘I asked you what your favorite colors are and one of them is red, so you’re going to be in red.’ I told my publicist, ‘Is he telling me what to do?’ But he was like, ‘I’m telling you, you’re going to look stunning in red, so please trust me.’ I just gave in.”
Rosie wanted to avoid looking “like an old person trying to look young” because she thinks that foolish, something that Christian was “on the same page” about.
She said: “The only thing I said to him was just don’t make me look like an old person trying to look young because that’s stupid and tired. That’s not who I am. He just cracked up and was like, ‘we’re on the same page, don’t worry darling.’”
The ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ star enthused about how “crazy” to celebrate the film’s three decades with castmates Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes at the ceremony.
Rosie said: “To be on the Oscars stage and having [the film’s] anniversary was crazy, but that said, we’ve kept in touch throughout the years. We hadn’t seen each other in probably six to seven years prior to Oscars night, but we were always in touch because that experience was so impactful, not just for audiences, but for us, too. Sometimes they say movie sets are like summer camp and you say you’re going to be pen pals and friends forever and it’s very rare when that actually happens. In this case, it actually happened.”

The 24-year-old actress told Phoebe: There are some questionable pictures that I took thinking they were cool and sexy.”
The pair reminisced about other ideas of cool they had, such as Daisy wanting to get the flower her name comes from, which she labelled “so sad” if she actually had done it.
She said: “Oh my god, I wanted tattoos too. I wanted a Daisy chain at one point. That would’ve been so sad,” to which Phoebe replied: “I’m enabling you. Get it.”

During their chat, the ‘Fresh’ star admitted to having “imposter syndrome” and never being convinced of getting parts.
Daisy said: “I dreamed so much of being able to have this career. It’s really funny too, because I suffer quite badly from impostor syndrome. Sometimes when I’m auditioning for stuff I’m like, “I’m going to get this. I’m perfect for this part.” But then when I get the part, halfway through it I’m like, “Why the f*** did they pick me?”

Natalie Portman reveals her self-care tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman tries to run or swim “four times a week”.
The ‘Black Swan’ actress has been upping her fitness game and finds listening to podcasts while out on a run to be relaxing.
She said: “I’ve been trying to run or swim four times a week. So that’s been a big change, which has been very good. When I’m running, I’ll often catch up on ‘The Daily’ or I’ll listen to an audiobook. Less often I listen to music, funny enough. I like to listen to music when I’m totally relaxed. And somehow listening to ideas is more helpful to me when I’m running. I’ve really been doing podcasts recently just to keep up with the news since it’s been so upsetting and the least we can do is keep on top of it.”
The 40-year-old star has also reduced her alcohol intake and cut out coffee, which has boosted her energy.
Sharing her self-care tips, she told Vogue: “I’ve actually cut out…not cut out, but I’m drinking less alcohol and no coffee since the new year, which has been really, really nice, actually. I find that my energy is evening out. I’m not getting very tired, and then pumping it up. It feels more steady!”
The ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ star always makes sure to drink two-litres of water a day and tries to cook at home as much as possible.
She continued: “Filling a two-litre water bottle up and carrying it around all day is helpful. And then going out less for dinner is also more helpful for me to not have wine. It’s much easier if I’m just eating at home to stay away from that. It’s a little harder when you’re out!”
Now she’s in her forties, Natalie says keeping her skin moisturised is vital.
She added: “I feel like keeping moisturised, especially as I’m getting older, is the most important part of beauty. It also helps all the makeup look better when it’s on. Before putting on my Forever Nude foundation or putting on a lipstick, to have the base well-moisturised, which I also do with masks and stuff the night before. It’s been kind of a “getting mature” trick. [Laughs].”

Peyton List: Pley Beauty had to be clean and sustainable

OHMYGOSSIP — Peyton List says she made it her priority to ensure Pley Beauty was sustainable.
The ‘Cobra Kai’ star, 24, launched the clean beauty brand at the start of the year and admits she was “shocked” by how much plastic waste the beauty industry produces.
She said: “As we were beginning this process, I was shocked to learn that the beauty industry is one of the biggest contributors to plastic waste in the world, polluting our oceans, landfills and waterways. So, I really made it a priority for this brand to respect our planet with clean ingredients and sustainable business practices.”
The former child model confessed she had no idea healthy glowing skin comes from “within”.
She told People: “I know it sounds simple, but I truly didn’t realise how one really needs to be taking care of themselves from within.
“Every step along the way is important I think to create that healthy glow. It all comes down to diet, gut health (which controls our serotonin levels), Vitamin D, hydration and sleep.”
In a previous interview, Peyton said her “favourite part” of creating Pley Beauty was learning the ropes of the business world.
The blonde beauty found it “cool” to get to call the shots and learn from other women in the room when she was putting together her new cosmetics line, which boasts recyclable, refillable packaging.
She explained: “I think my favourite part was getting to really learn the business side of something. I’m usually so on the creative side of things that I don’t really get to sit in the conference rooms and make decisions. That was really cool. And then also getting to pick the brains of the women that are running the team. They’ve come from different brands and to hear their stories and to hear the knowledge that they have on beauty has opened my eyes to the industry. It’s been a very cool process.”
Peyton became “interested” in crafting makeup looks and how they impact the way people treat you from her many hours spent in the beauty department on set.
She said: “I’ve always been so interested in it. I think it started from the first time I sat in a makeup chair. I would wrap on set and then I would go to school and see that people would treat me differently from when I would come back for the last class all done up in my makeup. It was very natural when I was younger.”

Michelle – who played Catwoman in the Tim Burton-directed ‘Batman Returns’ – reflected: “I can be both people. On a really bad day I’m more Catwoman, yeah. But if I get icy, then I’m really mad. And if I lose it, I’m a wreck. I’m overwhelmed.
“It’s a different kind of anger: I don’t have control over my life. I’m actually feeling sort of like that at the moment. I feel like I’m on the verge of that every moment lately.”
Michelle currently runs a fragrance company called Henry Rose, which she launched in 2019.
But according to the actress, being a boss isn’t something that comes naturally to her.

Rosie Huntington-Whitley admits to loving pies

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whitley loves eating pies.
The 34-year-old model has “always had a liking for pies” – but Rosie admits she also has to “ration” how many she eats.
She told Great British Life magazine: “I have always had a liking for pies but you have to ration things like that! I’ve always had a great appetite, probably all that running around outdoors started that.
“Working-out regularly is a necessary evil. You have to work at being a model, it doesn’t just happen by accident. You do have to exercise but it is not really a chore, it becomes part of your life and you would feel a bit strange if you didn’t.”
Rosie is one of the most sought-after stars in the modelling world.
But the British beauty insists there’s plenty of hard work that goes on behind the scenes.
Reflecting on her success, Rosie shared: “Make no mistake though, a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes. To keep in shape for modelling work you cannot just sit around putting on make-up, you have to exercise and take note of what you are eating.”
Rosie has Jack, four, and Isabella, two months, with actor Jason Statham. And the model is keen to balance her career with her parental responsibilities.
She said: “I have still have many modelling assignments in the diary and I would like to do some more acting but I am also a mum and have to make sure that I have priorities.

Cara Delevingne was always barefoot and naked as a kid

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne’s parents struggled to get her to wear shoes as a kid because she preferred being “barefoot”.
The 29-year-old model-and-actress has revealed she would “run away” whenever someone tried to put her in shoes and was “always naked” as a youngster.
Asked what her favourite footwear as a kid was, she replied: “Ooh my favourite pairs of shoes … I don’t know, I was always barefoot, and I was always naked. Yeah, it would be a struggle to put me in a pair of shoes in general, I would run away. So probably my own feet — which is good.”
And when she was old enough to choose her own shoes, Cara would wear the same pair of boots so many times that she would walk around with her “pinky toe sticking out the side”.
She said: “I would over wear a pair of trainers – sneakers – or like the same pair of leather boots with a hole in the toe, with my pinky toe sticking out of the side. It was quite gross. I would just wear the same thing. It just really meant something to me when it stood the test of time if I could wear the same pair of shoes.”
Her favourite shoes now are her old Rihanna Puma Creepers, which she has many pairs of.
She said: “I’m still such a big fan of the old Puma Creepers. I still have loads of those, she [Rihanna] just did them right.”
Cara quipped that “heels were made by men” when asked to choose between wearing them and sneakers.
She added to FootwearNews.com: “Trainers or heels? Sneakers or heels? Obviously trainers all day, every day. I’ve seen someone try to make a pair of trainer heels, don’t ever do it, that’s illegal. It shouldn’t be allowed. Ugh! I love trainers so much. Heels were made by men, clearly.”

Sydney Sweeney steals her make-up artist powders

OHMYGOSSIP — Sydney Sweeney swipes her make-up artist’s powders.
The ‘Euphoria’ star “hoards” setting powders and is known to make her make-up artist “mad” by keeping her Charlotte Tilbury powders for herself.
She said: “I collect a lot of powders. I stole a lot of my makeup artist’s Charlotte Tilbury setting powders, and she gets mad. I’ve been obsessed with it. I hoard all of them.”
The 24-year-old actress – who stars as Cassie Howard on the hit HBO teen drama – suffers from “terribly sensitive skin” and has learned to “speak up” on set if there are any products that she knows will irritate her skin or beauty prodcuts that she is not “comfortable” with.
Asked if she’s learned any beauty tips, Sydney replied: “Always stand up for yourself if you’re in a makeup or skincare situation where someone is using a product that you don’t feel comfortable with or if it could ruin your skin. Being on set, I’ve learned to speak up for myself. You shouldn’t put yourself in any type of harm’s way because you don’t want to feel bad.”
The ‘Everything Sucks!’ star also admitted she cannot sleep without removing her makeup.
She told BAZAAR.com: “Always wash your face,no matter how tired you are. I was on the plane last night and realized I completely forgot face wipes. I said to myself, I cannot fall asleep on this plane with my makeup on. I was literally trying to scrub makeup off.”
